The arena wasn't what Saito remembered. It had changed from the roman coliseum look-a-like to a floating platform. That's all it was, high in the sky of some place he had never heard of. It was as if some giant entity had reached down and grabbed ahold of the world, before yanking a chunk off. Standing calmly at one side, his drawn zanpakuto, Kotsuzui, was held tightly in his right hand. The blade protruded forward, angled so the tip was lazily placed on the ground. At this point, Saito was merely waiting for his opponent. The arena was a place where random competitors would fight just to test their strength. There was no class-limit, either, so any race could show up and challenge him. "Come out, come out, whoever you are~" He called, becoming slightly jumpy.

His captain's haori, which he shouldn't have been wearing, was flapping behind him in the wind. There were no cloud, and it was oddly warm this high up in the sky. Hey Saito... Don't forget about your newest technique~ Smirking, Saito nodded. His newest technique would definately be fun to use against whoever this opponent was.

"So, you're my foe? This ought to be fun...I've not defeated a Captain in quite some time," the opposing figure said with a cruel laugh. Despite the reiatsu she had, she still seemed like a small threat, likely due to the clothing she wore. "I vaguely remember you, I wonder if you remember me..." Kurobara said with a smile as she removed herself from the Gigai she was in, ripping off the cloth covering her left arm.

"No matter, though. The past has no bearing in this place, only power matters." As she said that, Kurobara made a motion as if she were taking a hat off, twirling it around as she bowed to her foe. Then, as if she were some great star, she flung the imaginary hat off to the right.

With that, she waved slowly at Saito, using Shunpo to appear behind him quickly. Not wanting to waste any more time on pageantry, she twisted herself around, her arms spinning like a twister.

Ah an opponent. Finally. It was simply fantastic that he was finally able to fight. As she gave her little entrance, he nodded curtiously at her. Truth be told, he didn't have a clue who she was. With his body nearly vibrating from exciting at the battle's prospect, he was slowly whispering words as she continued with her speech. When she tossed her hat, he had finished his phrase. Ujimushi, Kotsuzui To Parusu His blade had transformed from a simple katana to the long nodachi that it now was. As she shunpo'd behind him, he whirled around to face her, his blade blocking her strike with a wall the size of a minivan attached to it. The wall was made from quite intense bone, capable of blocking a fair bit of damage. Jumping backwards, he retracted the bone.

"Not bad, young'un... But how's this for ya?" He asked, slashing his blade in mid-air. Instantly, his reishi converged to form a large allosaurus. As the dinosaur roared, it's crimson body glowing harshly (there was no detail in the form, it was pure red), Saito grinned sadistically. With a malicious nod towards the female, he barked his order. "Kill her." Instantly, the claws of the allosaurus enlarged, pure bone daggers of destruction that would no doubt eviscerate her, he smirked. Of course it was a distraction. "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!" As the allosaurus would be disregarded as a nuisance, his incantation was complete. "Hakudo #63 - Raikōhō" Holding his left hand up (for the right held his blade) a massive yellow wave of light was fired straight for the girl.

Smirking, he leaped into the air, floating on his own reishi as every spiritual being can do.

"Shikai already? You sure don't waste any time..." Kurobara said with a chuckle, dashing forward under the energy dinosaur. It was then that she heard the incantation, nearly at its end by her guess. "Unleash, Enryo!" She cried out. Almost instantly, her left arm went dead, hanging at her side. However, bark began to crawl up over her skin, like an Arrancar and a Resurreccion. "Such a cheap trick won't work that easily, sorry!"

With that, Kurobara slammed her remaining, wood-coated fist into the ground. As the Raikoho came toward her, large wooden pillars shot up out of the ground, forming a barricade against the energy. However, there was more to this than met the eye. The large trees bent oh-so slightly, just enough to be aimed straight at Saito.

Was that all? Focusing his palm fowards, the hilt of his zanpakuto became encased in bone. As the sword floated beside him, his fingers released the hilt to grab his wrist, enforcing his aim. Suddenly, a layer of bone began to creep up the trees. Once they became fully encased, they grew thicker. When he was satisfied by the thickness, the bone around the hilt of Kotsuzui exploded off of the sword, and he grabbed it tightly. "Not too shabby. You could become useful to me in the future." He told her, before slashing downward with his sword. A crescent of bone shot outwards towards Kurobara, spinning rapidly. The edges were sharp, and it would slice through her easily if it made contact. Her crimson blood would stain his white disc of spinning doom. Oh how he loved himself and his abilities.

Slashing his sword several more times, more crescents shot out for Kurobara. But now it was time for some real bullshit to happen. Nodding at the allosaurus, the beast began growing. It gained a helmet with three horns, and wicked claws. The allosaurus became a favorite creation of his. The cloak around it burned with a level five intensity. Already behind the wall of trees, it was the perfect inside man. Roaring at Kurobara, the dino hurtled itself forward, slashing at Kuro with longer claws and a spiked tail.

In essence, it's Geogreymon. Just pure red.

"Hmm, bone? Very interesting, but you really should be more careful," Kurobara began, using Shunpo to appear on the other side of her wall, safe from both the dinosaur and the bone crescents. "you're using up far too much energy for so early. You're also making it a bit easier for me to hide, every time you coat my trees like that." She said with a smirk, jumping up toward him. Not one to let her motives be seen through so easily though, she quickly dashed backward with another Shunpo, leaving herself in the air across from him, far from the dinosaur.

"You seem to be all about big, grand attacks. With the kido first, and then this ugly thing. The bad thing is, neither of them seem particularly fast..." This time, she let herself drop down from the air, landing with her foot aimed straight down. Upon landing, she broke through the top layer of stone, kicking up a cloud of dust. With this, she also began growing trees below the dinosaurs' feet. If she couldn't defeat it with confinement, she'd have to knock it out.

Saito merely smirked. Inwardly, the bones were eviscerating the trees. Spikes were ginding on the inside of the bone. It didn't take long for the trees to reduce to a fine powder. Releasing the bones, they exploded with the dust, a moment of intense reiatsu abolishing the tree dust. "You're wrong." Mentally, he controlled the dinosaur. He gave it an intense speed, and it blurred into existence beside Kuro. "On two accounts really. If you think this drains me.. This is nothing. Wait until you see a truly draining ability." He winked, before a decent size bone appeared in his free hand. This bone extended until it was a large boomerang. As he began writing the incantation to a spell, he tossed the boomerang with his last word. Abolishing flame." The boomerang turned purple as it arced towards Kurobara.

But that wasn't all. Instantly, his allosaurus began rippling. Then, another grew from it, before seperating. He didn't really clone the dinosaur. He just made an exact replica. The splitting from the original was merely for artistic flair. He enjoyed looking like a total badass. It was just his way.

"Great, now two of those things!? Just what I needed, more critters!" Kurobara cursed, performing about five backward cartwheels to get beneath Saito once more. After each one, she'd punched the ground quickly, preparing more trees for growth. Expecting another attack, likely from the glowing boomerang, Kurobara strengthened her right arm, doubling and redoubling the amount of wood that covered it. At the end of this, her arm was around the size of her whole body, dragging along the ground.

"Come on, fight me yourself. Or, are you afraid of me? Afraid you'll die if you can't rely on your trickery? Well, come on ANYWAY!" She screamed, slamming the ground with that over-enlarged fist. From there, she shot a half dozen trees at each dinosaur, shooting two up from the ground to hit each of their stomachs, the other four each heading for the heads.

Shaking his head, Saito was beginning to get impressed. "You know.. after we hurt each other a bit, we should go out sometime~" He smirked, before waving his hand. Instantly, all of his bone creatures and whatnot disappeared. The dinosaurs were toast anyway, bleeding heavily from their wounds. "But if you want me to fight you hand to hand....." Dropping to the ground, the impact actually formed a small crater. He was exuding spiritual pressure at this point, and it was weighing heavily on the earth. Dropping his sword, it disappeared. "Don't say I didn't warn you. You brought this on yourself. BANKAI!" He called out, and the transformation struck. He was instantly brought down on all fours, and a dark red rippled across his body. As the exoskeleton formed over him, his tails swished behind him. Taills. Plural. He had six. Snapping the large jaw that was over his head, the bone fangs crunched together.

"You know... You really are pretty good." He told her, before howling loudly. Shards of bone shot from it and began puncturing the trees. Slowly, they would spread with an intense reiatsu and burn them from the inside. That would take time forever. Snapping his jaw once more, he waited patiently. "So what do you got?"

"Hmm, Bankai? Very well, then. Bankai! Gansaku...ENRYO!!!" Kurobara called out, slamming the ground with her right fist. As all the trees she had placed shot out, they formed a dome around her body. Several trees thick, she was certain she had time to prepare.

As they wound together, her left arm could be seen, twitching. Rapidly, the polished bark exploded outward, transforming into a large, almost gruesome claw. The fingers alone were as long as her legs, and the arm itself was longer than she was. With this, she was truly ready to fight.

Expecting him to come crashing through at any second, Kurobara quickly punched the ground with both fists, laying down more trees to grow later. If she wanted to defeat this Captain, she knew she'd need to attack him with both her fists and her trees.
