Returning From The Abyss: The Demon Queen Awakens Empty Returning From The Abyss: The Demon Queen Awakens

Nothing but vastness. Ever expanding, all encompassing and never-ending vastness. This is what the universe was, these were the birth of dimensions and the exploration of so much more. Not many could comprehend the complexities, the interconnections and wholeness that combines, intertwines and expands into what we perceive as existence. There were many lands to be explored, many realms to discover and oh so many dimensions to cover. Sights which most wouldn't believe, views that many were too ignorant of and lands which most could only dream of. The Queen of Demons has seen it all and so much more....yet she couldn't find the one thing she loved most in this boundless aspect we call reality: her lover. Through the pits of hell, to the depths of the unknown and further beyond that; Mana threw herself into the void and went as deep as she could into the rabbits hole...with no sight of her beloved Ashlei in sight. There were many grueling months spent searching, waiting, fighting and mourning for this lost.

At one point, exhausted from all of this fighting, fatigued from suppressing her bodily urges to snap and subcoming the utter instability which is birthing of The Danava of Discord & Madness, there was a point in this venture into the depths of eternity where Mana...nearly died. From the pain of the tens of millions of souls accumulating to nearly one hundred million over her travels, these began to dull and taken over her mind with so many blinding thoughts. For as her will withered, the memories, thoughts, personalities and cores of these beings she has killed began to overtake Mana's mind; picking away at it like a bloodied axe and consuming her into it's vast numbers to eat her alive.

All the while, the strain on Mana's body from constantly shattering her bodies limits over the duration of three year campaign on Earth had began to catch up with her. From the war that waged in depths of Saburo City, to the larger than life field which was The Battle of London, through campaigns of absolute insanity within Demon World against it's strongest demon's such as Eric Zarathos and all of the major leaps in absolute power she attained from her greatest battles within Madness City and Malaysia; the force in which Mana has fought, the intensity in which she waged wars and the amount of power in which she has amassed reached a critical point of breaking down. And with the collapse of her will during this period, it allowed the instabilities to devour her whole and nearly kill her.

There was no one in this world worth fighting for any longer. It was hard to even come to the conclusion of what she was even fighting for. Was it her family? Was it for power? Had it been for love? Conquest? Adventure? Just...what was it that made her come to this point? The questions piled on, but the answered dwindled to nothing as her instabilities grew stronger, her mental restraint lowered and the memories of those whom were close to her were but a distant thought eons away. It was encompassed within the shear void of isolation which was the depth of Mana's internal world. In this place, in this dark, dark place; there was nothing but infinity. Had it been the true form of...madness? To suffer the curse of this strength, to battle the murderous intent of countless civilizations, to lose the love of the one you care for the most, to aimlessly wander on in this purposeless universe and to be conceived into this existence to begin with....it was sheer lunacy.

Dwelling further into this world, deeper into this abyss; there was nothing but silence and the rain of many thoughts. Was this the end of it all? Had her life been for nothing? Did those around her truly loved her? Were those she cherished simply used her for power? Did the endless killing sprees she engaged in were for nothing? Where was her drive to overcome this? Was her life utterly and completely....pointless? For that matter, just what in the hell was "Mana" to begin with? The accumulation of so many souls, the consumption of so much power, the blinding of sheer insanity; these factors and so many more lost The Queen of Demon's in a sea of sheer and absolute madness. The Void, The Lunacy, The Spirits; everything which posed to end Mana binded themselves into one force and sought to obliterate all that she was once and for all. She was weak, she was dying, she was segregated and all alone in this cold world.

Yet...

In her darkest hour...there was still a voice of light calling to ascend her from the ashes of despair. One familiar, yet so different from The Demoness. It spoke in a soft tone, and uttered words of compassion. Whispering that it knew all of the wrong the wicked Demon had caused, but knowing that within her heart....there was no controlling it. It was a shame, honestly. For in this moment of self-discovery, this enlightened voice begs to even wonder and poses the question: would The Queen of Demon's continue her conquest if it weren't for her nature of Chaos and Madness tied together with the blood of a Danava? They are what drive a Danava, they are what give them life and to fulfil their purpose is to sustain their existence, give them strength and indulge in their impulses.

However, observing the actions of Mana after he vow to stay sane for the love of another, this action went against all of that. And although The Queen was very much sound mentally, there was so much inside of her working against that. At every turn, at every impulse and all of her unconscious thoughts; there was a force, unknown to most, constantly pushing her to seek mayhem, discover destruction, bring out madness and strive for more power. Divulging further and further into the psyche of dear Mana, this voice even went on to say she is a victim of a terrible curse from a former life. Bond to the sins of another, she molds the body of a murderer to atone for her ill-deeds as one known as Eris, the former Danava Of Chaos and Madness. Even in her death, she refused to let her will cease to be. Hence, at every corner, at every angle; Eris's resolve binded Mana internally and pushed her to acquire all the tools she'd soon need to resurrect herself as a whole being once more.

Through Mana's reign, through Mana's power; she'd bring about such untold revolution, unforeseen lunacy and birth a world of destruction, war, insanity and chaos. And had these objectives not been achieved? The annihilation of the Iahhel Clan destroyed most whom dared go against Eris's existence. Amassing power, strength and numbers by defeating countless countries in Demon World? That gave experiance and birthered more fuel towards Eris's ambitions. Killing the Former Demon Queen? Another obstacle removed and the balance of peace, serenity and control was all but removed from Demon World. Through joining forces with the Demon God? Absolute domain control of Demon World had been all but assured. And with Mana's conquest in the Human World? The final frontier was nearing with The Queen constantly being pushed to her bodies limits.

Which is where the picture soon became all but clear....there was a definite catch to all of the power which Mana consumed and attained through her strife. Laying crippled on the floor, near death and breathless; the voice made clear: Mana was going through withdrawal. But from what, you may ask? Simple: Destruction, Chaos, Blood, Madness, Insanity and all which she had built the foundations of her empire over. As her Danava blood awakened, Eris's consciousness grew further towards being complete. Hence, as a result of Mana's actions, she was now associated to being the new Danava of Discord and Lunacy. And during her time searching for Ashlei, time moves at such slower or accelerated rates of speed for each dimension and realm she travels in. Ergo, what may have seemed like a few months to Earthly plane, was actually a few years for which Mana had traveled.

This ultimately meant that her blood had further time to ripen and it's origins became clear. It was locking Mana's body, her soul and mind towards that nature. Other Davana's and Demon's may have been fine, but with this transition into becoming such a Conceptual being, The Queen's body CRAVES this force. To withhold it back for the sake of another, to swallow it down for love and enforce such "Sanity".....went against Mana's very nature. Ergo...her body reacted in such a violent way that it tried to very well kill her in her weakest moment as she clinged to that hope.

This spelled out, in layman's terms, that if Mana refused to go down this path now: she would DIE.

It's one of the many reasons why her body soon began to go past it's limit. She was becoming attached, attempting to become sane, find her own reasons and go against that very blood which compelled her to seek such mayhem. At this rate, it was all be assured she'd lose control and start the process of inducing a level of insanity within herself that would decimate every fraction of The Queen, bring about the birth of Eris and bring a new age of darkness to all realms as the original Danava of Chaos and Discord would break free from the cycle of life and come back as a whole being once again.

Now, this wasn't to say Mana could indeed NOT resist her. In fact, Mana's power was the very reason Eris came this far to become with. She leeched off of Mana like a bug and drained her dry for so many years until this point because of the strength The Demoness held within her. But, when combined with Eris's fully awakened strength, a monstrous force could be made of sheer calamity and it was going to be up to Mana to decide what to do from there. For those she loves, for her aspirations, for her empire and everything which is connected to her: she'd have six to twelve months to make a choice, to find a solution and to otherwise battle this beast. If an answer or method wasn't found in that time, and if she ever wanted to see her loved ones again, she'd find that resolution.

"You are this world's Yin. Without Yin, there can be not Yang...which would mean the end of this world's balance. Do you understand what this means? You are on your own from here."

And so, with that final warning, this ever-holy voice dispelled and freed The Queen from the clutches of her own Conceptual World to give her a second shot at life; despite the deafening new limit imposed on her existence....

Awakening out of a pool of blackened and emerald blood, Mana slowly emerged out of the portal which connected Demon World to the Vicara Plane and gasped to life as she vomited copious amounts of blackened blood before slowly raising to her feet and staring at the sky; The Queen's chaotic energy consuming all around her as she attempted to bring herself back to reality, calm herself and deal with the problems at hand. Hair rattled, clothes torn, eyes dried with so many years; she looked like a mess, she felt like a mess and her life...was now troubled mess. What would she do from here? What could she do from here? A resolution must be found, a path must be craved and The Queen of Demon's....must make a choice....

Returning From The Abyss: The Demon Queen Awakens Empty Re: Returning From The Abyss: The Demon Queen Awakens

Following the many hours after her re-entry into the depths of Demon World, The Demoness was already at work dragging her limp body throughout the desolate wasteland of the Endless Soul Plane's abyss. Steadily her hair started to return back to it's former glow, clothing restored to it's proper fit and eventually the critical injuries she sustained started fade away as the days started to pass. However, what wasn't s easily repaired was her psyche. Having searched all this time, gathering through all the realms and looking and low for her sister....caused Mana to feel turmoil within herself. It felt as if she had failed on what her mind had set to do, that she had miserably given up on her sister and that perhaps this venture wasn't one worth delving into it. After all, it is with this venture that she found the curse of her powers, the ticking time bomb within herself and the inevitable answer she'd have to speak to in the next six months. But alas, they were all problems that would be dealt with in due time; as time itself was the key to repairing such deep sided wounds to the heart.

Holding her to her chest for hours, and hours and hours onward; she'd force her body through a seemly endless field of blue skies, grass and leafless trees; appearing to be wandering through a dead-man's land that not many souls within Demon World seemed to be aware of. Walking throughout a trail of dirt craving through the middle of this land, it's null scenery was one that this was a befitting place within Demon World to eventually come across. It was empty, it was void, it was quiet and most of all..it was dead. Like the reflection of her soul, this no man's land resonated heavily with the likes of The Demon Queen as she steadily made her pathway to the depths her Kingdom. Sure, she could well enough teleport herself there with relative ease, but right now....she needed time to think. There were many uncertainties facing her in the coming year, there were many troubles brewing with her heart and soon enough her own life may be claimed if something wasn't done about the nature of her powers soon enough.

A choice to accept the madness...or move towards a different path. These two gateways into the potential of Mana's future served as the cruxing point in her life; for the demoness was forced to finally determine where on Earth her life's direction was heading. There was so much on the line if she were to pass away now. To say goodbye to her family, to fade away from the one she loved and to give way to that accursed goddess known as Eris. Understanding full well the origins of her Danavahood at this point, it made a sense of anger brew within her; but also a somber feeling of acceptance.

Why is that? The futility of life was simply...inevitable. Even if this end did not bring a stop to Mana's life, somewhere along the line, millions of years from now, or possibly even billions given the strength she has attained with her semi-immortality; a force, an entity, a being, a disease or some sort of conception into the universe would surely put an end to all that she loves, all that she is and all that will ever be. Rather it be through war, the hands of time itself or the consumption of death itself devouring the cosmos, the multiverse and all there is into it's dark void; nothing last forever, so why bother trying?

Shaking her head of such horrible thoughts, there was still a spark within her contorted, twisted and ultimately mixed up personality that realized that her family, the Asthavon Family and the Sisters of Chaos, were all worth fighting for in the end. Memories etched within the likes of The Royal Demoness's mind, hearing sweet nothings of her more confident self began to bellow inside of the depths of her mind; she'd recall the many times where she called out to those whom dared challenge her mind and uttered the phrase over and over -- "Life is just a game, you play it devour the most fun out of you can. The points rack up, the life progresses, you attain new skills and you seek the finest pleasures you can attain with your strength. Yet, eventually, you'll know when the gig is up; when death comes knocking at your door, Sugah', ya better be ready and ya betta' have the highest score ya can get before that time comes."

As the tears began to stream down her cheek like an unending storm, The Lone Queen grabbed her skull with the utmost of strength; clenching down into her skin; trying to drown out, suppress and lessen the burden of the recollections of happier times long past her. Times where she felt invincible, indestructible and ultimately the person who knew she wanted. The Asthavon wasn't a fool; during the many battles she had endured throughout the duration of her life; no, even further back when she first got her legs as a full fledged Demon, The likes of Haniel Iahhel even knew how deep, long and utterly painful the road Mana was taking could and has become . Now, forced to face the reality of her actions, it was time to put the swiftness to accept this curse of reality, embrace death and essentially test the weight of the words she so cheerfully accepted in days of her youth, putting them to the the final test as this next year rolled on forward.

The dawn of the next day brought her to a more civilized portion of The Vicara Plane; reaching a place where Shadow Fall operatives were able to make a massive castle for the higher-ups in this organization to gather. In the following night she spent travelling, The Demoness came to the conclusion that at this point; it was better to simply bask in the madness of it all. Losing herself, whom she was and subcoming to this fight at this point in the game wasn't acceptable to her. Therefore, the only path left in Mana's mind was to, in due time, become the next Demon God and reach the power of Deveta himself to put an end to this long drawn out fight against Eris, The World and all that opposes her anarchic order. Anyone was free to take what they wanted in the world, but they had better not take it from her. Eris was no exception, and even if she thrived within her subconscious, the will of The Demon Queen would not be so easily accepted. Relics of the past that are dead should fundamentally accept their place in death's abyss; and as the newborn incarnation of The Greek Goddess of Chaos, it was her time to have the feast of the Universe as a whole. The former holder of this title had her chance.

As she walked into the steps of the facility that would place Mana into the cusp of reality, hundreds of Demon's and Hollow's alike were excited to finally see some form of leadership come to them. They asked many questions, pondered her with the heavy concerns over her disappearance and in the end a large deal of them were pleased to see The Queen back in action. However, as a tribe of Demon's clothed in rouges approached her, they started to inform the likes of Mana of the war being waged in Australia. And more importantly, these men of her council informed The Demoness of the fact that her Family was assembling in the middle of this war, Khala Asthavon had awakened and Clarie Clixx was steadily losing her grip as the conflict proceeded.

This was all the fire and spark that Sweet Mana needed in order to distract her from these miserable nihilistic thoughts that had consumed her mind. Sure, the depths of her body were in great turmoil, but it was time to rise above that and be there for her wicked family. Being brought up to date on the circumstances that filled The Australian War, it seems that the Yuudeshi Brat finally waged an all out assault against the Monsuta; but this war held very little interest for the likes of The Queen. It may be her own ego speaking, but the fact that there was a large scale war being fought doesn't interest her solely because it is not a war that she has waged, it is not a war against her or her family and ultimately she doesn't see anything to gain or achieve from this all out chaotic feast of blood, guts and combat. However, within the depths of Mana's subconscious mind, there was a force that was itching to feast upon the chaotic aura's within the range, the mayhem in the country and ultimately desiring another chance to make The Queen closer towards awakening Eris.

Feeling the pain intensifying within The Memory Rosary of Despair, there wasn't a single sign or ounce of hesitation had in the fiber of The Demon Queen's body as she understood very well the nature of the the task she needed to embark upon entering Australia. This wasn't going to be a battle for glory, a fight for her bloodlust, a conquest for control or anything related in nature to her previous entrances into grand scale combat situations like this. Nay, her goal in this upcoming challenge was to save her family, get the people that matter to her and bring them back full circle in Mana's time of need. The required the assembly of Nami Asthavon, Inami Asthavon, Kiriel Asthavon, Khala Asthavon, Clarie Clixx and hopefully, one day soon, the likes of Ashlei Mischevang. The heart of the Demon Queen was beating fast; for the call to action was upon her downstep and it was time to take that first movement towards the light once again.

"Sisters, sweet sisters. Brothers, sweet brothers. In the melody of madness, your spirits speak such volume to my soul. Trimmers of lunacy guide me, insanity has found me and I smile as your vanity sings us all a lullaby to weep. All those aching hours, all of our aching powers; you persuade me to be pulled into your agony. Whispering your wills into my ear, through it all, we're now stuck with that which is left to save. As I wake to the sound of another illusion broken, I'll keep the memories of my delusional selves seal sealed; forever closed within my soul as I bare this scar to keep. Smashed, tangled; now it's yours to keep close to when ever ye hearts beats. Now I can finally start to recall, all that I've seen; sights of the past still unclear, I learn what it is to hold dear. We'll show them that we're above them, confessions in real time, screaming our choices; all that was lost, was merely to keep you from harm."

Having muttered those words as she entered into a sealed off chamber of the facility; it was time to finally put her powers to good use. Despite the barrier across Australia having sealed all means of physical and metaphysical travel; there was one way around it in Mana's mind. Bypassing all of that, through means of chronolock, it would be simple in theory to phase pass it by means of OBE; or out of body experience. Transferring a good deal of her bodies energy into her formless state, she'd eject her consciousness out of her body and create a route into Clarie's mind through their telepathic bond. From there, once their minds fuse for temporary time, through the shadow of The Memory Rosary would a new shell be crafted for Mana to use until the war in Australia was over and she could deem herself fit to transfer back to her primary body that now lay in the pits of Demon World.

In the meantime, the likes of the defenses within her Inner Circle was going to see to the safety of The Asthavon's true body in order to avoid anyone taking advantage of this. Syncing into what was left of Mana's body, they'd soon form in a circle and produce a highly potent barrier around the Demoness's body in order to prevent any form of interference on a physical or metaphysical level. If given an estimate, this shield was roughly two times more efficient than the one engulfing Karakura Central due to it's extremely small size, the skill of Mana's Magcal Prowess and the additional work of these Elite Demons assisting her empty body. So, with the plan laid out, in a flash of blinding light, the likes of The Demon Queen's awareness was ejected out of that body, projected outwards of this dimension and sent hurtling towards the depths of war at a blindly fast rate of speed. The depths of Mana's possession would be tested, but it was worthwhile endeavour to venture down as the gears of war finally turned for The Center Shadow Fall Throne. Soon, very soon, she'd come to claim her one and only family. If anyone stood in the way of that, they'd soon be laid to sunder. The pain, will and agony of The Chaotic Demon would be felt for all of Australia and her family to bare.
