The wasted lands on the outskirts of Karakura. [Open for all under the risk of death]

A new day, more training. That was what Kurou thought as he trudged through the outskirts of Karakura, aiming to relocate himself outside the barrier so that he would be able to train his ability. It was a well known fact that weaker hollows tended to lay in ambush for those foolish enough to exit the barrier, but then again, they tended to be at our just below his own skill level, the perfect material for training.

Approaching the edge of the barrier, Kurou steeled himself in preparation for what was to come. He could already feel the dark anticipation coming from outside of the invisible wall, and he could feel Shinda stir to alertness with the prospect of a good battle happening.

"Let us do this," Kurou thought as he left the barrier, activating his power with the intonation of "Runvindens Kallelse!" and sending out a brief surge of reiatsu as he was clad in the silver-gray metal armor over his hands, lower arms, feet, and lower legs while the three runic tattoos appeared on the skin of his face. His only reply was the bestial screams of approaching hollows and Shinda's increasingly deranged laughter.

Lifeless gray eyes stared out from the translucent barrier from one of the trees that thrived on the outskirts of the city. They followed the dumbass man out the barrier. Why would anyone do that unless they're begging to get their butt kicked? Seriously? Akira watched the man take a deep breath; as if trying to prepare to go through with this stupid idea. Or was it an every day thing? A flash of light -at least that's what she called it- morphed around the man and just as quickly disappeared. Akira raised an eyebrow at this and his newly dressed body. Ugh, men. He was probably trying to show off to himself. She readjusted herself in the old maple tree, moving up higher in the branches of the tree to get a better view of the wastelands right outside the boundary. The teenage girl pushed away the loose twigs and wimpy branches that tugged at her beach colored hair, even as short as it was, and the obviously new white and blue school girl uniform she wore. Akira nestled in the second to highest branch on the tree- when suddenly a cry broke the hum of everyday life and a beam of bright, golden light lite the sky. Her eyes widened like a deer's in headlights as her attention was brought to a Hollow. Dang that thing was ugly! But even in her "know it all" teenage mind set, she knew the man was a gotter and stayed put in her tree. Yeah, she'd thought the guy was an idiot; but also she'd thought he'd be back before one of those things broke loose. Akira began to bite on her newly white capped nails, her usual worried habit, but she couldn't tear her attention away. She wanted to see what these things could do. Hollows were pretty much damned souls, right? Her heart quickened at the thought and she sort of bent her head down; her long bangs shadowing her eyes. This one must of been a bad one too.
