Journey to Kurakawa[Open] Empty Re: Journey to Kurakawa[Open]

It was a strange thing for this individual to be within the walls of karakura, most of the time she spent her days within the forest around karakura. Today however she had entered the city, transformed in to the small domestic house cat that she was. Her fur was a soft orangish color ending in a pure black tail, it would be unlikely for anyone to suspect that the little feline was anything more then what she appeared to be. However, indeed she was, in fact she was were-cat, a being somewhere between feline and human. Even more so then being a were beast, this was Nyama, the servant of nature, and that was what had brought her here today. For now though, she sat on top of a bench in the middle of karakura, waiting for the time to be right for her excursion.

All of a sudden though, a black haired human sat down on the bench next to her, causing an angry hiss to escape the tiny house cat, eyes filled with intelligence beyond what a house cat should be capable. The stupid human had upset her, and now she would exact nature’s revenge against the male who seemed to be meditating. Hopping off the bench, the tiny cat lifted her head to the sky and let out a ear splitting yowl, as if calling out to the heavens themselves. Indeed, the heavens did answer her, clouds forming immediately as thunder boomed overhead, a lightning bolt shooting down from directly overhead the male. Instead of veering off to one of the metal buildings though, it headed straight down towards the male, the black haired human the only thing the lightning was after. Another call left the feline’s mouth, this one a soft mewl and filled with love. Almost immediately a cheetah appeared at her side, as if appearing from the very earth around them. Nudging the newcomer lightly, the house cat let out a couple more soft mewls, muscles strengthening, hide thickening, in general her body becoming stronger, faster, and able to take more blows then it would normally be able to. For now she would merely turn to observe how the male she had called the bolt of lightning towards had taken the attack. Would he really suspect the innocent looking house cat that was sitting within a few feet of him?

((OOC Note: currently my character's durability, strength, and general speed have been increased by 1 rank each, due to the abilities she has used.))

Nyama was surprised by the human’s speed, the bench behind them exploding in bits of scorched wood as the man disappeared and reappeared in front of her. He seemed to lean forward with high speed, aiming his palm at her head, which barely came up to his knees. Luckily for her, she was faster then the human in terms of reflexes, and quite a bit smaller as well. Pushing off as her cheetah companion, Felix appeared, she launched herself between his legs with all her might, and being a tiny house cat, she would easily make it through before her could react most likely. Letting out another ear splitting yowl, another bolt of lightning thundered down from the heavens. However, this time it was not aimed at herself or the man who had attacked her, rather it scored home on an unsuspecting human female, eliciting a painful scream as the electricity coursed through the woman’s body. Watching as the man slammed his hand in to Felix’s body, rage flowed through her. Her body quadrupled in size, muscles surging with newfound power as she now stood as tall as the human and two to three times that in length. Her maw opened slightly, he would be getting a full view of her vicious teeth as the feline pounced towards him, claws extended and fangs bared, ready to tear apart the man’s flesh. Nobody harmed her companion and got away with it, that was something she was going to make sure of.

((OOC: After the boosts from her previous post, Nyama had a Durability of advanced, general speed of master, and strength of adept. Due to the ability she used to increase her size though, her current stats after that are a durability of master, strength of master, and general speed of advance.))

As perhaps unfitting as the speed the creature ravaging the area was, it would suddenly come to a complete halt. As Nyama pounced toward the human who apparently had bitten off considerably more than he could chew, she would feel the world fall still around her. Mid-pounce, Sagumi had appeared on the scene in what was, quite honestly, more of a fortuitous fluke than anything else. Normally he wouldn't have bothered himself with the daily squabbles of a species he had long since lost kinship with, but he wasn't exactly fond of letting humans die by the droves. More importantly, the thing that was threatening to slaughter those droves of people seemed to be quite, quite entertaining. He hadn't been in "Karakura" for very long and, as tended to be in this place, he had found something rather intriguing very quickly. If the overgrown cat looked to her right, she would see the tall, slender, red-tressed form of Sumashuu Sagumi. The man was adorned in a silver Dobak jacket overlaying a single-breasted short sleeve shirt, made primarily of white silk and hemmed with black detail on the wide collar and sleeve ends. The front is held together by three black threads over the chest, and the back falls into a shirttail. He wears a similarly silk pair of blue pants that stretch down to his ankles to reveal his normally bare and surprisingly unmarred feet.

Should the overgrown house catl look down at her arms and legs, she would find four translucent red masses, all of which had appeared beneath her feet while she was moving. Given that the girl had already leaped for the boy, it was all but entirely certain that she would collide with Sagumi's trap. Should she come in to contact with the blobs, their adhesive properties would trigger, effectively gluing the creature to Sagumi's trigger shields. Given her lack of leverage in mid air as well, the likelihood of her breaking free was almost nil. He wouldn't give her the time to wrench herself free either. Should the girl come in to target with the trigger shields that spontaneously, silently appear beneath her, Sagumi would quickly whip his arm to the side. The shields beneath her would then shoot off, ripping her out of the air and flinging her in to a nearby building. After the flinging had taken place, Sagumi would slowly walk out toward the main street that the two had been quarreling on. Sagumi was rather oblivious to the situation, but given the energy fluctuations and the fact that people were fleeing in terror, it was not remotely difficult to guess as to what was going on. A monster, in this case a giant cat, was attacking the street. It was pretty easy to just side with the humans in cases like this, they tended to be on the more helpless side of things in the current power structure of the universe. That wasn't the real reason he had intervened though. The girl, the cat thing, had a relatively low power output and by everything he could sense, it wasn't because she was suppressing the energy output. So why was she at speeds that she honestly shouldn't be reaching? She was even close to him in his unawakened state. The boy she was attacking was relatively boring, Sagumi didn't really notice him for now, but his opponent...yes...she was amusing.

This was not what Nyama had expected, her body freezing in midair caused her eyes to widen slightly. The next thing she knew, she was sent crashing to to a large building, though luckily her improved durability meant she achieved nothing more than a few minor scrapes and cuts. A soft mewling though, and these injuries repaired themselves, the beast rising to her feet as a growl ripped forth from its throat. However, when the boy spoke it was not what Nyama had expected. As his speech moved onwards, a feral grin covered the large feline’s face, her body tensing as she readied herself to move forward. This man was a fool, she knew this now. Why on earth would her reveal that he wouldn’t harm Felix, when if he could have simply used the cheetah as a hostage, guaranteeing her cooperation. A roar ripped forth from her mouth, one that was answered by the cheetah as well as the paralysis left it. Pushing herself forward, the cheetah leaped towards the newcomer who now stood between her and her original prey, Felix attempting constantly to sink his teeth in to one of the limbs of this man. At the same time Nyama shot towards her original target, hoping that her friend would be a suitable enough distraction to keep the newcomer busy. Using all the speed she could muster, she would pounce towards him in an attempt to rake her claws through his upper torso. Today, these foolish humans would pay for their crimes against nature, and she was the one who would carry out their sentence.

"I'm...bored..."

Sagumi did not turn when the other human spoke, he very blatantly did not understand what he was dealing with and he was...well...very boring. Like...really boring. Sagumi was almost contemplating letting the cat monster kill him just so something interesting would become of his life. No, that wasn't how he was supposed to act, though Nozomi was becoming more and more questionable in her dealings as of late. The evil of letting the human die would pale in comparison to his wife's recent misconduct. The thought would definitely let him sleep better at night. Granted, the cat seemed just as, if not more, stupid than the human. Perhaps that was to be expected...it was an animal. They tended to be idiotic, but he was hoping that with how stupid the human was, it was at the very least going to be the dumbest thing on the street. The cat lacked any concept of threat assessment and that was, also, boring. Sagumi couldn't help but let an exasperated sigh escape him as he felt the presence come toward him. He should have just stayed home.

The other animal on the street, the cheetah, had been designated to attack Sagumi. Unfortunately, it was also a cat, and was also stupid. Sagumi's Tekai was far too strong for the creature's each to do anything to, it was as if the thing had furiously try to bite the hull of an air plane. The second the teeth made contact with Sagumi's arm, they would shatter. Tooth fragments and copious amount of kitty would spew all over the place if the creature actually carried through with its assault. Meanwhile, Sagumi would remain motionless, staring with bored condescension at the cheetah that dared to try and bite him. Whether the creature actually followed through with its attempt to bite him and subsequently obliterate what functioning teeth it still had, Sagumi softly and quickly flick the creature on the nose, positioning himself between the cheetah and the girl's trajectory. Should the flick connect, the animal would be sent flying, and sent quickly, aimed to soar straight over Nyama's head and in to the nearby building as she moved to attack the human. Maybe that would get her attention, if the cheetah was of anything important to her, enough force to knock it unconscious plus a toothless, bloody maw would probably catch her eye.

Journey to Kurakawa[Open] Empty Re: Journey to Kurakawa[Open]

All the noise today was certainly enough to put someone in a bad mood, crashing, thrashing and above all else a feeling that the people below were not considerate enough to give some people silence when a delicate operation was taking place! Honestly was it that hard for people in this day and age to understand that separating a person's body from their organs WHILE they are still alive can be a difficult procedure with the constant banging and howls of what seemed to be animals... "No no no no no If I'm going to get more of this work done then this needs to be dealt with..." The gruesome work that the Demon of greed seemed to suggest was perhaps stopped hopefully for the poor soul that had found itself on the slab of metal that it was left on, though with all of his mercy it was likely Reigen would not wait before he continued to the slab of meat, what was there crime? Well that was only for the Demon to know and likely to lie about to another... As Reigen reached a window a sudden crashing came from above, it seemed that.... A cheetah was now a part of the building.... "Huh well I don't remember that being a part of the design plan..." Thinking to himself as if he may have forgotten the cheetah hole in the side of the building Reigen shrugged off the idea and climbed up the stairs towards the broken part of the wall. Reaching the wall in which had been indented a large feline on the other side the well-dressed demon felt that perhaps seeing what was left above could explain all the unwanted noise...

To all those looking at the building all that would be seen would be the cheetah finding its way into the side of the wall then for a few moments nothing, then suddenly the top half of the building that the cheetah made impact with would be gone. The animal would fall to rest on the floor of the buildings now open-top area, and all the while a well dressed green haired gentleman with a chain siphoning back into his jacket would be left to see what all the distress was about. "Huh... This wasn't what I was expecting when I heard all the noise..." Above seemed to be a group of three, one was a human of otherwise negligible interest, though he did manage to paralyze the cat from what Reigen had heard while he was busy... Perhaps a bit more could be said about the on he was having to deal with, a.....Giant.....Cat? If Reigen even got a picture of her he could probably sell it for profit, such a existence in Karakura would not be all that impressive but a creature like this could be the start of an urban legend. The last player seemed a bit bored from just the site of him, well that probably goes without saying considering he threw a cheetah at a wall. Still it didn't take much to get that the bored one seemed to be the big strong man in the fight, still seemed to the other players were forcing him to take his ball and leave such a depressing sight indeed... But what was more important for a start was to be rid of at least two of the major noise polluters around so for a start Reigen felt that it was important to deal with them in the best and most peaceful way he knew how.

As the human boy and the.... Cat were battling above suddenly a chain would whip upwards towards them. The weapon seemingly of its own mind would point the bladed end of its tip at both of the opponents. Well it certainly was peaceful as the conclusion would most likely lead to a lot more silence if they kept up their tirade against one another though considering Reigen was a considerate person he felt that he should tell them both to desist or more violent methods would be used to stop their foolishness. Jumping to there level while ignoring the bored fellow Reigen made it a point to make a makeshift seat out of his chain and look at the two accordingly. Now this has all the makings of a fun little go-around but for the moment I'm not interested in the two of you making noise and causing a nuisance.... As such I would ask you to kindly stop or I'll have to make it my effort and most likely pleasure to deal with the problems you two have as my own..." Looking over to the cheetah lying in the open air breathing heavily the Demon simply gave a sly smile as suddenly the top half of the building once again found itself intact in an a instant, as if it had never been gone... "Well your... Furrier friend is relaxing in there so you can go get him, though I'd ask you not to go anywhere else, and if you hear some noises its probably the landlord.... Or the mailman... Or maybe that serial killer....... Anyways that's not important what is is that you go away and make friends elsewhere or I'll be a friend to both of you, as will my chain." Directing his first point to the giant cat expecting it to at least know the cheetah that had made its way into his wall, then to both of them at the end. The Demon simply smiled as his threat lingered with his presence growing around the area and the tip of the chain of greed shining along with the Demon's cat like eyes under the protection of his hat all with a Cheshire like grin to top it off... If a meeting with Reigen ended any other way than this... Even he would be surprised...
