Mansion Meeting (private) Empty Mansion Meeting (private)

Sun Jul 06, 2014 7:05 pm
Spoiler:

On the outskirts of Karakura town, walking down a path with a straight posture and a friendly looking smile was a small brown skin coloured teen. Her dyed long gradient blue hair was tied up into a bun. Today the cosplayer wasn't wearing any cosplay clothes or her school uniform, instead the young woman wore clothes that could be described as: Office Lady attire. However, her striped grey skirt that matched the blazer Wine wore above was a bit too short. Why was Wine, the cosplayer, lover of fashion and makeup wearing something so out of the ordinary? The answer isn't anything complicated, it's simply 'cause of the teen's dream to be an idol. Not too long ago, someone gave her some advice to meet a man that lived on the outskirts of Karakura. That maybe he would help her achieve her idol dream, but not without lots of effort on her part. The man wasn't just going to hand it to her on a silver platter after seeing her sing and dance, plus her face.

Her black pumps clicked on the pavement, Wine was nearly at the front gate of her destination a mansion straight ahead. If the girl hadn't taken a cab for most of the way, she would've definitely felt like dying. Approaching the gate the young woman could see some guards. It was obvious that they wouldn't let the teen just walk right in. "Hello, I was told to come here because someone that lives here can help me with some 'business'." Wine paused and looked into the eyes of one of the guards. The girl spoke again this time in a low and serious voice. "You understand why I wouldn't go farther until detail right?" Asking then looking out of the corner of her eyes on both sides.

There were, unfortunately for the girl, some erroneous details given to her. Moroi, by all realistic accounts, would not be described as a "man." Perhaps it was her informants manner of a joke, but the boy, while being considerably more intelligent than...well...everybody, was not especially mature and was unfortunately naive in a wide array of facets. Thankfully for him, reading people was not one of them. Normally, he would never have entertained a guest, much less one that showed up on his doorstep completely unannounced. The gate guards were a new addition, after Aiko had invaded the premises, but finding people spiritually able to stop someone like Aiko was impossible, so it was mostly a pointless effort. They did do a good job of chasing away the random sightseer however. Today though, mistakes were made. The guards knew three things, first, they were hired because a woman had managed to sneak on to the property and whenever questioned about her, their young master got incredibly flustered and angry. Two, they knew he was a rather high strung individual when he wasn't specifically trying not to be. And three, that they knew absolutely nothing else about him, short of his physical condition. So when the admittedly beautiful woman, dressed rather smartly and walked straight up to them with "business" in air quotes and the lack of detail provided, their first instinct was to assume their employer had contracted a prostitute's services for the night. That might not have been her intention, but her explanation for her presence was pretty suggestive.

Regardless, they opened the gate and left her pretty much to her own devices, not wanting to obstruct Moroi's "date" for the night. They'd be punished later. Thankfully, the stars had aligned and Moroi had not been engaging in his "secret" behavior at the particular time, the last thing he needed was for Divine Comet to be rooted out so early or for his identity to be discovered so soon. At the time, Moroi had been sitting at his desk and, for once in his life, was doing something that was expected of him. Managing and investing the money he had accrued was not difficult, gaming the system even less so, consequently his holdings had grown substantially in recent memory, forcing him to actually play the role of accountant for his investments. It was simple work, if a bit boring, but it did give him the substantial cover he needed when the buzzer letting him know that his "guest" had arrived. His first reaction was alarm, but at the same time he did not sense any spiritual pressure from the presence of his guest or circling around his guards. That ruled out, at least most likely, the chance of an attack. Moroi pushed backward on his wheels, scooting his wheelchair back from his desk and speeding out in to the foyer, the boy sitting quietly and tentatively behind the front door, waiting for whatever intruder they had allowed in to his home.

Mansion Meeting (private) Empty Mansion Meeting: Dreaming

Mon Jul 07, 2014 1:02 am
Wine was quite pleased how easy it was to let the guards grant her access past the front gate. Turning her head then playfully stating to the guards, "Thank you." Before moving on. This time her walk was a bit different. The teen's roundish and slightly big head was tilted a bit towards the dark coloured sky. Her hip movements became slightly exaggerated. This walk was close to the kind of walk she would do for cosplay runway contests. Wine's eyes were filled with anticipation yet they along with the rest of her body, was practically overflowing with confidence. It seemed as if with each step forward the teen take, Wine became more confident along with fearless.

The door now becoming closer and closer, the teen could practically feel her heart beginning to speed up. The young woman could feel it, her dreams becoming true. No longer would she be Wine Inoue cosplayer and student of Karakura High. Instead, she'll be something new and greater, Wine the idol. Wine the Singer. Wine the model. Wine who had all eyes on her, the one the girls looked up to and the one the guys would want to be with. Though for either group it wouldn't be easy. The girls could tan themselves all they want to achieve her dark skin, attempt to get all the plastic surgery they could get their hands on but their inner selves could never compare to Wine's. Almost all would practically wither away if they saw her face to face and think 'Why didn't I stay true to myself?' As for the guys, not a lot of them would be able to satisfy her. But, a lot of them would think they could. Wine could see herself getting bored with a guy that had nothing else going for him but his willingness to buy the teen whatever she wanted.

She sighed out loud. The people within her mind weren't her real fans. No, they just saw a very tiny exterior of her. The teen's true fans would support her no matter what, they would feel moved when they saw her perform. The fans would be grateful for going to any event she went to. They held whatever song she sung or image the teen held close to their heart. Those fans loved her and Wine would love them back plus work hard to keep them her fans. Maybe even do something such as giving away free merchandise for some fans. Suddenly, her daydream was broken. Everyone looked at her with looks of disgust, fear, shame, anger and other negative emotions. At first Wine didn't get it. Then the teen saw it, the blood on her hands first and next the beaten up body. There was a war storming within her. A side that wanted to laugh and cry in satisfaction, the girl had beaten someone down. It was so...exhilarating! The opposing side however, was sad and scared. She knew her actions were disliked by everyone. The teen could see what was going to happen next, no one would want to talk to or touch her. The world would ignore her. That's what the fear was, being ignored. As if people didn't see her at all either body or spirit. Like she never existed in the first place.

Now nearly at the door, Wine had stopped. Her eyes no longer confident or fearless, now frightened and upset. It took her a moment to remember where the young woman was. Immediately, shaking off the negative emotions. Some scenario that only played out in her head wasn't going to ruin her chances at all. Confidence and fearlessness flowed quickly back into her body. Continuing to walk towards the door in her model strut way. Placing a manicured hand on the front door's handle Wine turned it and with a small click it was open.

Despite Wine preparing herself for whoever may be on the other end of the door, she wasn't expecting the guy that stood-sat in front of her. The teen did her best to suppress the surprise she felt. "Hello." Wine began to say. He...is he the one I'm looking for? Wine thought. Is...is this some sort of joke? "Are you...." Realizing that the door was both still open and she didn't step inside, Wine immediately stepped in then softly closed the door behind her. "Are you, the head of this househol-" Noticing right after she was almost done asking the question that she hadn't introduced herself yet. Some of the feelings of the teen's earlier episode must've still affected her she deducted. "I mean. Hello I'm Inoue Wine." The teen bowed politely, "Are you the head of this household?"

A soft beep resonated through the foyer. Whoever his guest was was sure taking her sweet time reaching his not so humble abode and Moroi was certainly curious as to why. Sliding his hand down the handle of the wheelchair, his discolored eye twitching slightly from discomfort, Moroi pulled up the surveillance cameras that encircled the front lawn, focusing on the one that gave him the clearest picture of his guest's face. Moroi tried to pretend that he was above such base impulses and desires, but she was a rather attractive woman. Symmetrical face, well proportioned body, adequate birthing hips, that's what humans found attractive right? It did beg the question of what she was doing at his house of all places. Once you got past the fact that he was in a wheelchair and that his right eye was substantially discolored, giving him a sense of terrifying heterochromia, Moroi was not ugly. But even on the days he actually bothered to go to school at Karakura High School and actually analyzed what the other humans considered "attractive," he could tell the girl was substantially out of his league. So that ruled a strange mating advance out, thankfully, which meant she was there for some other reason. Did she somehow know who he was? That was unlikely, he had been careful, but even so he was not ready for people to know his secret, perhaps he should kill her now, snuff out the threat before it could fester. It was then that the video showed him something peculiar. Moroi was nothing if not a scientist, so everything that did not have an immediate and obvious explanation fascinated him, the sudden change in facial expression of the woman certainly qualified.

The girl had stopped a few paces away from his door, staring in to space and cycled through a very peculiar set of expressions. When she had first arrived, there was a confidence to her walk, a headstrong aura around her and that seemed to persist and even magnify for a few brief moments as the creature seemed to drift off in to her own head. Moroi could not determine what she was dreaming of from a simple camera angle, but it had elated her. Then the expression turned to something more pensive, thoughtful, but the confidence remained. It was when the confidence dropped that Moroi took interest, when the look of happiness faded from her that drew his eye. If she was intending to execute some form of blackmail, then jitters such as these could be expected, but she seemed so lost in her own head that he doubted she was thinking of that at all. No, it would seem that whatever was running through her mind was completely independent of the boy. The fear, the panic did not last long, she rather quickly regathered her wits and trudged forward, but Moroi had seen the shift and found it intriguing...perhaps hostility was not going to be necessary. Well, no more hostility than he usually employed.

Moroi's face did not betray much as the door began to open. The video feed in the arm of his wheelchair cut out and the arm rest had slid back over top of the screen as she was opening the door, appearing as nothing more than a typical wheel chair to the girl. Her incredulous reaction to his appearance did honestly hurt. Even through her efforts to suppress it, Moroi could tell, he knew what he looked like to the rest of the human populace. Not so much so that he cared about her opinion of him, he didn't, but it was another reminder of what his people had to endure, the curse that afflicted his lineage. No pain was shown however, in fact not much of anything was shown as the girl fumbled around, first forgetting to enter and then forgetting to introduce herself. Third times a charm it would seem as she finally managed to fumble out her question. A few moments of silence would pass, Moroi intentionally focusing on slowing down his speech to normal humans levels as he continued to analyze the girl in front of him. It was easier at this range, she was definitely powerless and consequently not much of a threat, he did not need to worry very much about violence coming from her.

"Yes, I am Wareyasui Moroi. Why are you here?"

'Wareyasui Moroi...'Wine thought. Trying to remember if her classmate had mentioned a name in a millisecond. But nope, no name popped into her mind. Now the teen was really starting to feel as if someone played a trick on her. 'I. Do. Not. Like. Being. Messed. With.' A wicked look passed her eyes, lost in her fury. "I'm going to kill that woman if she thinks she can get away with leading me here." Wine said softly, forgetting Wareyasui was there. The teen could see it now, her bashing the brunette's head repeatedly with a bat. Blood splattering on the concrete of a dark alley, the prey trying to scream but getting hit each time she tried. Her face now filled with blood and blood coming from her mouth. Now the brunette couldn't scream. There was blood on Wine's hands, she liked it but it didn't satisfy her enough. The teen could then see herself doing something to achieve that satisfaction such as cutting the bitch's hair off with her knife, no longer with that long flowing hair! That the girl seemed to adore oh, so much. Which made Wine think. Did she say anything about being upset with the teen? Did her boyfriend have a crush on her? Did she even HAVE a boyfriend?

Wine's anger quickly went down. It would've been different if her prey was right in front of her, but the bitch wasn't. Instead was Wareyasui Moroi. Realizing that he was there the entire time as the teen got caught in the storm of her emotions. The young woman was starting to feel ashamed, not because of what Wareyasui may think but because she had forgotten he was there. It was something Wine isn't a fan of and would dislike if someone did it to her, forgetting that she was there. Though, the teen pushed that away, her confidence coming back.

"Sorry," she began than bowing. "I think I may have come to the wrong place. It seems like someone was playing a trick on me. Honestly I was told someone older about 30 years old would be here." She continued, then Wine got lost in her thoughts again, speaking her thought out loud, "But you're the only one here presently aren't you?" 'Tsk!' She thought. Realizing she got lost in her thoughts again, it was being slightly annoying. 'This should really stop. Darn hormones...'

"It's very nice to meet you Wareyasui Moroi. My name is Inoue Champagne." She paused, then took the scrunchie that held her hair in a bun. No need for this anymore. She thought as the teen rolled it up her arm, underneath the blazer jacket's sleeve. "But I prefer to be called Wine." Flipping a piece of her dyed gradient blue hair over her shoulder. Wine smiled. "Unless you can make it possible for me to get a certain job." The teen paused. "Like an idol?" The girl's desire and dream to be an idol clearly showed in her eyes. One could see that Wine really would do anything to achieve it...except killing herself because then there would be no way for her to become an idol. Unless someone had the tools to magically make her come back like in some sort of anime. Though, with the huge desire was also humor. Just so it'll seem like Wine was joking some when she said her statement. The teen was having a half serious moment. With the goals of at least attempting to ask because you never know who the person you just met is and to lighten the atmosphere. The teen wasn't too sure if it was for herself or Wareyasui or both.

A piece of Wine felt like she was making it too obvious what her goals were and that the young woman wasn't subtle enough. The majority of Wine did not care though. She's not the type of person to let any even a sliver of hope of her dreams coming true pass her by. Even if Wareyasui couldn't do it maybe he had connections. Suddenly realizing Wine was getting ahead of herself, why would this guy do something like that for her? People don't just hand out opportunities to people that were tricked to walking then entering their home. An idea then popped into Wine's head. 'But, maybe it could work...if I could get close to him. And getting close to him means I could just call him Moroi, so much more shorter than Wareyasui. Honestly, who wouldn't want to be close to me anyway? Besides the haters.'

It was the first time Moroi had shown any emotion whatsoever...and he was pretty sure the girl was too wrapped up in her own thoughts to even notice. A flash of amusement passed over his features as she violently cursed whoever had sent her here. There was that shift, like the persona she displayed was a mask she could barely maintain...or perhaps it wasn't. Humans were so interesting, it was like studying a particularly ingenious monkey every time. The boy's head tilted slightly as she assured herself that the wicked deceivers would be punished and barely managed to suppress a chuckle, which is rather unheard of for the boy. By the time she would look back to him however, the emotionless blank slate would return, his attention back to studying her as if she were under a microscope. Shame flicked across her features when she realized that he was still there, watching the outburst. He wasn't sure if she felt ashamed for the emotions she felt, if she was ashamed that she couldn't keep them from showing, or if she was just disappointed that she had forgotten where she was in her little fit of fury, but shame was an infinitely less attractive quality than anger. Anger was strong, anger could be funneled in to success, anger was useful. Shame? Not so much. The anger was infinitely more appealing. Unlike her however, Moroi showed no sign of his disappointment, instead, visibly, seemed to just be waiting for her to get to the point as to why she was in his home and wasting his time.

It took a lot of self-control to repress the eye twitch that came when she explained that she was there by mistake. It was hard to find his mansion "by mistake." Moroi had built the place as far away from community living as possible, it was hard to just "stumble upon" it while looking for something else. No, if she was sent here, it was for him, which in turn made him rather irate. It was one of the few moments where Moroi was not in control of those silly human emotions. Perhaps she wasn't alluding to the fact that he was a cripple, perhaps it was merely his age and not his appearance that she questioned, but Moroi was not immune to confirmation bias. The idea that she couldn't believe that he, the cripple with the discolored eyes, could possible be what she was looking for stung and it made him rather angry. The Wareyasui were a proud people with a grasp on the world that almost no one else would ever be able to. Who was she to question him? She drifted off again, and this time Moroi found it substantially less flattering, and pointed out the obvious that Moroi was the sole resident of this house, the house he built himself, from his crippled little wheelchair. Well, not entirely from the wheelchair, the Akagai was used substantially, but that's not the point.

Her social graces seemed to return to her however, as she proceeded to introduce herself again and announce her preferred nickname, perhaps she preferred to be named after a more effective alcohol, Moroi could not be sure. It was then when she announced her intention for being there, to be an "idol." Moroi did not react immediately. It seemed like a silly request to him, in a world where wars were common place and supernatural beings were more than ready to kill whatever human they stumbled across a "pop idol" was certainly not an aspiration he was expecting. Unless she of course meant a religious idol, which would be just as possible as the pop variation, but probably not what she was going for. Of course, the humans who had not yet evolved to spiritual awareness probably spent their lives terrified of the creatures who were more than likely to snuff out their existence at a moment's notice, so there might be use for a "pop idol" if only to market on those fears by giving them some stability. It had worked multiple times over the history of humanity. Moroi coldly studied her for a few more moments. She wasn't unattractive, and Moroi was more than smart enough to be able to use her to get the popularity and status that she wanted, plus he had the funds to do so, but she was being incredibly straight forward about the concept, which Moroi found intriguing. Intriguing enough to play with her a little bit.

"I can, I'm not sure why I should or even why I would."

Moroi turned in his chair and started wheeling himself to his office. It was an invitation for her to follow him, but he certainly wasn't obvious about it. In part, it was a test to see if she how desperate she was for this. Desperate people were easier to control and while he certainly didn't have anything malicious planned, he was the kind of person who actively sought after control. It was a symptom of a condition that afforded him no control whatsoever. The boy rolled himself behind his desk and quickly got back to what he was doing before hand, rifling through the stacks of paper work. If she decided to follow him in to his rather expensive looking office, the boy would speak more, a bored tone encompassing his words as he struggled to keep his speech at normal human speeds.

"Even if I was interested in sponsoring an "idol," why you? I'm not sure if you've noticed but we aren't exactly lacking attractive people in the world. Why should I care about you over any of them?"

Hearing Wareyasui state that he could do it, Wine saw a chance. Even if it was small because he said what the teen was expecting. Why? The young woman's body suddenly rushed with feelings of determination, fearlessness and even greater confidence. Though, Wine did stood there for a moment as she watched Wareyasui turn from away from her. Once there was some distance but not too much, the young woman followed Wareyasui to his office. A part of the girl was a bit surprised at how expensive his office looked. Wine even noticed a certain brand of furniture. The young woman wasn't too sure where she heard of it, but guessed it must've been from her father's job. It seemed like his job would have something to do with expensive furniture. Though, Wine didn't really care about her father's work much, except for the fact that if he lost it her allowance would be gone. Despite the teen's no interest in her father's work she did try to look interested when he talked about his job.

Wine looked at the stacks of paperwork, taking her eyes off of them once hearing the sound of Wareyasui's voice. Wine smiled a bit when he mentioned lacking attractive people in the world. Once he was done, the teen walked closer until she stood right in front of his desk. "Because I would do anything to be an idol." The young woman stated. "Oh, I know that many people say the would do anything, but what sets me apart from those people is that I would really do anything." Her eyes were serious, the Wine meant what she said. "If you make me an idol I'll do anything that you want me to do."

Leaning in closer, Wine now realized Wareyasui's eyes. She caught her breath, the teen realized she was now staring a bit but she didn't care at the moment. His eyes looked amazing, like seeing and hearing a waterfall closeup or a bonfire. It was the girl's cosplayer side that was coming out. Wine was positive that his eyes weren't like this because he put eye contacts in there, it looked natural. The young woman also assumed that he wasn't really into stuff like that. Most of the guys she'd seen that wore stuff like eye contacts wore make-up, sometimes even more make-up then herself! Of course it wasn't noticeable, unless one was like Wine and took pictures with a dude who's make-up came off a bit on her costume when they did a pose.

The teen snapped herself out her staring trance, biting her lip trying to remember what she was going to say next. It didn't take long for Wine to remember, soon the girl's amazement turned into confidence. "I'm positive you can use me in someway!" The teen paused. "Especially since your mansion is...well it's not easy to come here." 'And I need to kill that bitch that sent me here.' Wine thought as a flicker of anger crossed her eyes for a moment. "I can't help but wonder why it's so far away from all the other buildings and why someone that looks around my age is by themselves." The teen applaud herself within her mind. What she said was so much better than before when Wine just assumed his age. "I'm sure I can be used for whatever reason that may be." Her eyes and body burning with fearlessness, confidence and determination more so than before as she leaned away. The reason why the teen leaned was because she was hoping Wareyasui could see clearly into the depths of her soul. Wine was not going to give up easily.

Moroi's eyes perked up as she spoke, giving her reasoning for why he should pick her. Of course, she had gotten incredibly close to his desk and his space, but that wasn't necessarily an unattractive trait in the occupation she sought. There were two general ways to create the kind of character that she was looking for. The first was to make them very shy, cute, and mysterious and draw people in that way. The second was to go to those people and be bubbly, adorable, and right up in their faces. She seemed to be going for the latter, which fit, since she was pretty desperately trying to shove her worthiness down his throat. The words she used did spark a little bit of concern in Moroi however, his discolored pupils meeting hers as she finished "fully" explaining that she would do ANYTHING that he wanted. Before Moroi could respond though, the girl's facial expression did a complete one hundred and eighty degree turn from confident and demanding to awestruck and amazed. The really peculiar thing was that she was looking at his eyes. Very, very rarely was that ever the reaction people held toward his eyes. Most reacted with disgust or concern or trepidation. Very, very rarely, was he examined with interest or...in this case it seemed to be appreciation. Moroi couldn't be sure if it was acting on her part, but if it was she read her audience well and picked a good thing to play off of, maybe he would have use for her after all.

When she snapped out of her trance, intentionally or not, he noticed her biting the lower lip, another thing he found to be particularly adorable. Perhaps the girl was more prepared for this than he thought, if she was able to elicit reactions out of him of all people, she could definitely provoke these reactions in normal humans. The desperation returned to her words them, causing a flash of skepticism to return to Moroi's face. Being interested in being used and being willing to do anything at all were concerning traits, they made her easy to manipulate if they were true. He didn't pay much attention to her musings after that, primarily because he couldn't. She was, for all intents and purposes, a stranger, the real reason that a crippled boy was living by himself out here was beyond her reach. When she finished talking and leaned away, a soft sigh escaped Moroi, he figured that was how humans reacted with exasperation, he'd give it a try.

"I'd be careful throwing promises around like that, I might have taken that as an invitation to solicit you for sex or to treat you like a slave. The world isn't quite as friendly as it was four hundred years ago and I need people who not only can work harder than others, but work smarter as well."

Moroi's head dropped slightly as he contemplated what to do with this situation. He didn't know what good an idol would do for him, he doubted it'd help him fight his war, pop artists very rarely helped in assisting paramilitary organizations, but the propaganda angle could prove useful. Even then, he had a difficult time moving around, even with the Naisei. Perhaps he could successfully use her as an assistant around here until he could find a better use for her talents, it'd at least give her a starting point before the "idol" angle could be worked out. Moroi slowly picked his head back up, allowing the eyes she was intrigued by to meet hers directly. His voice was soft, almost consoling. If she really wanted to be used, she would be.

"Just how badly do you want this?"

Mansion Meeting (private) Empty Re: Mansion Meeting (private)

Hearing Wareyasui speak. Wine was thinking. 'I was prepared to go that far.' Then another thought came into her mind. 'Is that how I seem to someone else?' The teen wondered.'I really seem like some sweet and innocent person? Ah! That's so cool. That's a good image to have. I can easily attract the older male crowd!' They love sweet and innocent idols. Plus they don't mind putting their lives into being fully immersed with that kind of idol's merchandise. I would value those fans very much! But not the creeps, like that one man that stalked the one idol.

When Wareyasui's eyes were looking straight into hers, Wine fought not to stare like what the teen did last time. The young woman ended up not being able to keep her thoughts in order! It was a bit obvious on her the girl's face that she was indeed fighting. Though Wine didn't care about it showing. Carefully listening to what he was saying, the teen almost won that don't stare battle until he stopped speaking. The young woman found herself staring again so the girl decided to look away as if searching for the answer within her mind. Though, Wine didn't need to search for the answer. The teen knew the answer, she waited years to answer a question like this. Though not quite this way.

Wine always imagined the scenario happening after meeting a person that worked for a entertainment company. The person was always switching from a young woman that had an internship at the company, plus was very close to the president to an old established male veteran of the company. The person did not ask the question on the first meeting, instead after a couple of meetings with Wine they asked it. This was definitely one of the girl's favorite reoccurring dreams. The dream would pass through her idol life from the beginning taking lessons and learning new things to debuting to becoming internationally well known.

The confidence in her answer showed. As Wine spoke, the words flowed out as if her answer was something normal for the teen, as if she said this every day to at least one person. "To the point that in order to achieve it I would walk around town naked, to the point that I would...." The teen paused as an idea popped into her mind. "To the point that I would severely injure someone to achieve and perhaps...kill." Wine's voice decrescendo as she stated the last word, the teen's voice becoming quieter. Then, as if the young woman were signing the words with her own soul to make them permanent and true Wine stated, "I would kill for it." The teen liked the sound of that word, particularly since she presently associated the word "kill" to her oh so helpful classmate. Then again maybe Wine should congratulate her since if it wasn't for that brunette she wouldn't be standing here. Yes...that would be nice. Just to rub it all in her face that her plan completely failed. The teen assuming that her classmate's intention was total humiliation. Then after rubbing it in her classmate's face Wine and her would have a bit of one on one time. Just the two of them-well just the two of them and whatever device Wine would choose to punish the classmate. So that brunette would learn to never pull a stunt like that again.

Moroi's gaze had been especially piercing, fierce yet calculated, as he fished for her reaction to his words. She didn't show any reaction to being solicited for sex, so she was either not as innocent as she came off or she didn't know what the word solicited was. Either way, Moroi was not going to press it farther. Either situation suited his purposes. He had already decided what he was going to do with her, to see if she was worth his time. If she was an conniving as he believed her to be, he was sure he could find substantial use for her for her for a considerably long time. If she was just dumb, well, humans died. When she did respond to his question, Moroi could no longer suppress his laughter. She was, far and away, the most interesting human he had ever met. He wasn't sure if it was sheer stupidity or her just poking for insight in to his character after he brought up sex solicitation, but the jump to constant nudity and murder was really quite hilarious to him. The laughter was short lived however, more of a chuckle, but she had already provoked more emotion from him than anyone else had in a very long time. Moroi stilled his arms, resting his hands on the desk as he drew those piercing eyes back to her, not longer really caring if she stared at him. There was a cautionary tone to his words, as if trying to warn her against agreeing to the terms he was about to issue, but if she was as confident and determined as she portrayed herself, it was quite likely that she wasn't going to relent no matter what he said.

"Let's try to avoid murder for as long as possible. Fine, I can help you, Wine, but there are stipulations. As I'm sure you can tell, living here, by myself, is incredibly difficult for someone in my position. What I need is a live in assistant. If you want this chance to fulfill your dream, you will relocate yourself to this house and fulfill the job of my assistant and aide. In return, you will have acting, singing, and modeling coaches here for lessons five days of the week. When I and your coaches feel you are ready for the next step, of putting you out there in the coveting "idol" world, then we'll proceed from there. Until then, I expect you to do your job as my assistant dutifully and effectively. Do you agree to these terms?"

Moroi was, in general, a very to the point person. If he tried to phrase things with the complexity in which he saw them to every human he met, he'd never get anywhere in life. Consequently, there was no fluff, no mystique to it, it was just a straight forward guideline of the price she was going to have to pay for the opportunity and on the surface, it probably did not seem like that bad of a deal. She'd get to move in to a mansion and take care of a guy who, for all intents and purposes, was not especially high maintenance, while being given all the tools and assets she would need to succeed. Of course...the appearance on the surface almost never reflected the underbelly and if she took this job, she would be given numerous, numerous dangerous assignments. It was not a joke. If she was smart, she'd succeed. If she was dumb, then she'd expire rather prematurely. He knew the test he had in mind for her to handle and it was incredibly dangerous and she very well might not come out unscathed. Such was the price of our dreams. A new emotion would present in Moroi's eyes as he awaited her response, expectance. He knew what the answer would be.
