A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed] Empty A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed]

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: 872

It was another afternoon of endless work for The Vanguard Leader, Azure Iramasha. Making his way through the small corridors in the Vanguard Headquarters, Azure could be seen with a small cup of coffee and a set of papers designated to record anything he found odd throughout the day. Yes, the lovely life of an Organization Leader was to scout any useful things out of the city he was located in. Normally you wouldn't do this as the big baddie of a bigger organization, but it's what he liked to do. Instead of sitting in a high throne behind a desk he would take things into his own hands, that is if those things were something to keep a pep in his step and something to write on. Nevertheless, Azure was currently making his way down a large flight of stairs to reach the lobby area of their hidden headquarters. Stepping into the large open room, he took his leave from the members behind him and make his way to the downtown district of Karakura City, specifically a set of markets meant to run during all days of the seasons. Whether it were winter, summer, autumn or spring, Azure has always seen some type of selling or haggling occurring in the area. You shouldn't expect anything else from Karakura City, though. It never seemed to have a dull moment.

Upon arriving to the Market's square, Azure scanned the area for anything that looked tasty and cold. The sun was blistering hot, the heat seeming to bore a hole into anything that walked out in the open. Despite Azure's rather unprofessional getup known as a pair of cargo shorts and a rather tight short-sleeved, white v-neck, he was nearly soaking in sweat all over his body. It's as if the heat around him was focused directly on his body, almost like an ant underneath a magnifying glass placed by both an uncanny, and evil, child. That heat was then amplified by a thousand just to make sure that every living beast in Karakura City would have to deal with the heat of midday. It wasn't anything new to Azure, a simple ritual would always follow such a terrible heat wave. Shaved Ice. A sweet treat that would cool off a person's very soul. The delicate ice crystals that would form from chopping away at the Ice block were magnificent in both look and taste, a soothing wave of tropical flavors were always accustomed to the texture of the ice. With thoughts of shaved ice and cool air flowing through Azure's mind, he swiftly made his way through the large stalls of Karakura's busiest market district.

Twisting and turn his way through the stalls, Azure was aimed for a specific stall in mind. There was an old man, maybe seventy or eighty, who would run a stance specifically placed up for the cutting and chopping of large, pure water ice blocks. The swift movements that Azure always watched the man perform were always mesmerizing, it was have he was still a child whenever the stall was open. Making his way through a small crowd of people to the front of a large line, Azure came face to face with the old man himself. Tukoto, was his name, and he was most likely the friendliest elderly gentlemen you could ever run into. His body moved from left to right as a thin blade flipped in and out of his fingers. Over and over, small chips were sent flying into the crowd as thick shavings of ice were chipped off one after another into small, cone like cups for people to take. He was an elegant and graceful man when he came to doing his work, and the love that he placed in each slice was something Azure could take to heart, whether it was something as simple as shaved ice or the end of a person's life.

Pulling out a large bill, Azure handed over an excessively large amount of Yen to compensate the man for his work, something that the people around the market place didn't seem to notice to often during the summer with the moving of houses and acceptance into the work place was a common thing for those living in Karakura. Nevertheless, Azure intended on getting this man's shaved ice. Finally completing his final cut, Tukoto handed over the small cup of ice shavings to Azure, covered in what seemed to be a sweet cherry flavoring that coated the ice in a glistening red glow. Filtering his way back through the crowd once more, he reached a small bench that sat on the very outskirts of the Market square, a vantage point to watch the world around him. Placing himself beneath a small branch of leaves for a somewhat small amount of shade, Azure flopped his head backward and sighed. "I'm so tired. Why does this summer heat have to be so blistering hot." Closing his eyes, he smiled and thought of the world around him. He was grateful to be here in karakura, protecting others. Whether it meant he had to deal with the damned heat wasn't important, he was here to do a job, one he intended on completing to the end.

A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed] Empty Re: A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed]

Mon Jun 22, 2015 9:53 pm

Her lips formed a tight line. Her eyelids were clamped close, afraid that holding them open for any amount of time would burn the moisture away from her tear ducts. The bangs she normally swept away from the front of her face because they tickled her so much, she was more than happy to let fall where they may, just for that little extra bit of shade. The sweat that dropped from her brow was a testament to the heat on this day, more than she could handle. Occasionally, she would make a soft noise of grievance from behind the other two in her in her group, which would not come with any acknowledgment. They, too, were suffering in their own ways under the summer sun, for they were all too similar. This was one of the injustices suffered by women of long hair, and the Miyake family women always had their hair flow down to their waists. Such a great head of hair meant the heat and humidity was going to perform terrors on their locks... they all dreaded this swelter. Naomi had less reason than either of them to complain though, because her hair was blue, and their's was black. At least she wouldn't be taking the full brunt of the sunlight, but still... this heat wave had arrived out of nowhere when they were supposed to be exploring the reaches of the Karakura metropolis. This was their second day in the city, having only arrived to their house last night and had no time to do anything but sleep (Much to Naomi's satisfaction). Today was to be the tour, and while they'd managed to see a good deal of the place, there was still so so so much to see. Right now, Naomi just wanted to doze off, but Kimiyo?the youngest of the three?told her that if she did, they'd leave her behind. She pouted at that.

The scenery began to change. They were transitioning over from the heavy urban areas with walls made of windows and pillars of metal, stacking forever on top of each other higher than Naomi dared to look. Now the area was opening up, feeling more natural and energetic. Here the pedestrians outnumbered the vehicles, walking this way and that. More than enough people directed their stares toward the Miyake women, but such things were so commonplace that it was practically invisible to them. Kimiyo was looking far ahead, holding her hand over eyes to try and block the sun's glare from them. Something must have caught her gaze, because she stopped and extended her arm to point at a thing in the distance. ''Ohhh. Looks like there's a market not too far ahead. I bet you there's a vendor or two making a killing off of the heat today. Ice cream... cold drinks... shaved ice... Let's go!'' All these things sounded spectacular to Naomi, causing her to open her mouth a bit and unintentionally release a droplet of drool from her mouth. Despite that, she complained, not even opening her eyes to actually see how far the market was. ''Too faaaaaaaaaar...'' was all she said before she collided with Kimiyo's back, hopping onto it and anchoring herself to her younger sister with her arms over her shoulders. Even though Naomi was taller and heavier than Kimiyo, the latter was easily able to carry the former with the strength she possessed.

''Yosh. It's good for the followers to rely on the leader~'' Kimiyo declared rather proudly, emitting a close-mouthed laugh that Naomi could feel through her chest while she was latched onto her. Kimiyo, the youngest, also happened to be the leader of their group, coming from a more prestigious line of the family. She would reach up to grab the elder's arms and hold on to them tightly, making sure she didn't fall off. With that, Kimiyo was the one who did the walking for the both of them, so that Naomi could immediately begin to snooze. The speed with which she departed the real world earned a scoff from the third party member of the group, Kokoro, or Koko for short. She'd been mostly quiet during their trek, the reason being that she was discreetly enjoying her drink of Sake while they walked. It was quite unfair that she had a method to beat the heat, but that was the perk for someone who never went anywhere without her personal gourd of liquor on her person. Of course the other two Miyake sisters had asked, but Koko refused to share it; Not surprising, as her Sake was exceedingly precious to her and she'd never shared it before this point either. That left the only alternative available to them: Kimiyo uses her powers to manipulate the weather and transform the hot summer day into a cool overcast one! Or well. that's what they would have done if Kimiyo hadn't been chastised by her parents for doing the same thing before. Something or other about unintended consequences and imbalance to the environment. They also lectured about altering the fabric of nature for insignificant reasons such as "It's too hot."

''Hey, it's not fair if you only carry one of us. As a leader, you should treat none or all.'' The words were wise, but their eloquence was lost in the delivery as Koko was unmistakably drunken. She liked to think she was able to hold her head up right while she was intoxicated, but both of her sisters could easily tell the truth. She always had a deep red blush across her face, and her attitude changed from her well-kept and articulated manner to that of a happy-go-lucky teenager. Also, the top few buttons of her button-down shirt always somehow managed to come undone while she was drunk, though thankfully that was not yet the case. Kimiyo would feel the increase in weight as Koko suddenly jumped on her back as well, sandwiching Naomi in the middle, who didn't even stir her even breathing. Kimiyo didn't seem to falter either even with the added weight, continuing on at the same pace as before. ''Heh, all right! Rely on your leader, girls~ I'll get us to that market.'' Energized now by the chance to show off, she began to jog toward the collection of stands and stalls, dodging groups of people with ease. Doubtless the sight of the Miyake sister tower would draw some attention, attention that Kimiyo enjoyed. She always kept in the back of her mind what her goals were, and one of them was to display to the world what the Miyake family was capable of. They three were known as the miracle children?the Big Three?and she wanted to spread that reputation.

In no time at all, they were in the midst of the market throng, and Kimiyo was keeping an eye out for any stall selling something to beat the heat. One in particular caught her eye, causing her to suddenly stop and let go of the women leeching off of her back. There was a duo of thuds, an muffled 'oof', and Naomi's signature child-like whine that Kimiyo was more than desensitized to. The line was long but... for good reason supposedly; a stall was selling shaved ice with inflated prices, just as Kimiyo predicted some people might be today. She looked left and right, and saw nobody really taking advantage of the fact that it was so hot. The positioning of the stand was excellent, with no competition in sight from this spot, meaning that most customers would be lining up for his services. Not only that, but the way he elegantly carved the ice blocks for all to see?like it was a live performance?it caught the eyes of the passerby with ease. Kimiyo had to admire his tact, though not as much as she'd really appreciate having a snow cone at this very moment. She immediately began to dash the way of the line but just as quickly stopped, skidding on her heels and nearly falling over. She'd realized something.

She turned around slightly and looked sideways towards Koko, an embarrassed red flush across her cheeks. In the softest, most lovable voice she could muster, she begged to the drunken Miyake: ''Lend some money, nyan~ ...For snow cones, nyan~?'' The poor little kitten act was Kimiyo's trump card whenever she wanted something she couldn't achieve on her own. Still, however, Koko was not quite drunk enough to fall for it just yet. The play earned Kimiyo only an unimpressed expression; a face that asked 'Really?' For someone who wanted her sisters to rely on her, and was bred to be a spectacular leader... she certainly wasn't very responsible when it came to her money. She'd always been like that, though, like it was one of her few weak points. No matter how much money she made, she always managed to spend it before anyone knew it, and that meant she usually came to her sisters to borrow money from them. Koko, clearly aware of the core issue here, shook her head no in a way that couldn't be mistaken. Kimiyo was disheartened but did not give up! Turning to the blue-haired woman now, she worked her charm once more. ''Money for snow cones, nyan~ ...Help little sister out... nyan~?'' Naomi was easily the more vulnerable of the two, as she immediately begun taking out some Yen from her jean pockets to the satisfaction of the devious Kimiyo. With beaming eyes and a matching smile, she handed more than enough money to get snow cones for all of them.

As she dashed off once more, Koko commented to Naomi in a disapproving tone. ''You shouldn't encourage her, Naomi... -hic-... She's never going to learn any restraint with her money if people -hic- keep letting her borrow money.'' She took another sip of her sake directly from the gourd, and was sitting cross-legged on the ground in the middle of the walkway. People were circumnavigating their presence and giving weird looks still. Naomi merely kept smiling, looking toward where Kimiyo had gone even though her eyelids were still shut completely. ''It's okay...'' she half-spoke, half yawned. ''Our leader always pays everybody back eventually.'' And by the lack of a rebuttal from Koko, this statement was known to be fact between them. It was a long time before Kimiyo returned, having to go through that whole line by herself. Naomi and Koko had moved out of the way of the moving mobs of people, just relaxing by the roadside where they could lie down comfortably on the grass. Kimiyo was expertly managing three snow cones at once—the red one was her own, the blue was for Naomi, leaving the purple for Koko. Each had flavoring the same color as their eyes, which Kimiyo thought was pretty cute. ''Your glorious hero returns!'' she announced proudly, beckoning the other two to sit up. Naomi cheered weakly as she received her treat, and Koko gave thanks and unintentionally released a hiccup as a result.

''So shall we get going?'' Kimiyo would ask, before partaking in her cherry-flavored shaved ice. Koko would give a muffled concurrence as she picked herself off the ground, but it was Naomi who differed amongst them. She was about to explain, but her sisters already knew the reason. It's all right, we get it. We'll see you at the dorms later, okay? They walked down the path while waving back towards the sleepy lady, before disappearing into the crowds of market-goers. Naomi was happily enjoying her snow cone's blue raspberry syrup, slurping the flavor straight out of the ice while hardly disturbing the spherical shape on top. Once all the flavoring was gone, then she would chomp into the ice. Relaxing was nice, and there were none quite like Naomi who enjoyed it more than her. She wasn't lazy, per se, but she was the least active of the Miyake trio. She was asleep more often than she was awake, and had no set schedule for it; it just happened to occur whenever it was convenient, and this seemed like a very convenient spot to doze off. She had such an affinity for sleep that she was attracted to the very concept of it, and sometimes she just got feelings about it. After she finished her snow cone, the tall blue-haired woman picked herself up and began to walk. Her legs carried her along a seemingly aimless course, and she was by no means opening her eyes to see which way she was going. She trusted in her feelings, and allowed them to lead the way. The result was a marketside bench in earshot of the bustling crowds, but just far away enough for it to not be too annoying.

She sat down, and could tell from the reverberations of the bench's wooden structure that another person—young adult male—was here as well. Normally, she would have ignored the person like anyone else, but he seemed different from all these other Karakura people. She opened her eye just barely more than a squint, and glanced in his direction to confirm her suspicious. Sure enough, she saw a man exhausted and allowing himself to kick back and relax. Then, she closed her eyes again and also eased up, a small smile now lighting up her face. She was only just conscious of him, but not for long. Soon enough, though the expression on her face hadn't changed on bit, she was asleep. Her breathing became even and more audible, seen as well as heard with her chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. Her muscles became lax, and she seemed to be so soft and vulnerable. There were still sweat droplets on her pale skin that caught the sun's light like prisms, containing microscopic rainbows inside of them. The outside word had no idea of the dreams that occurred in Naomi's mind as her body slept so soundly, so serenely on this simple park bench. For, it was easy to find peace beside a person of like tiredness. This strange attraction with those of sleepy minds, something that Naomi only seemed to be able to feel, often got her into equally strange predicaments.

Such would be the case as the weight of Naomi's body fell into the side of the man's beside her. Without being disturbed from her sleep, she slumped against him so that her head was lying against his shoulder, and her bosom was pressing against his arm. The breaths she released would tickle the bare skin near his neck with the freshness of the blue raspberry shaved ice she had consumed earlier, in contrast to the blistering heat. Even after she'd fallen, she did not appear to be aware of the fact, still totally asleep. Thankfully, her hands were still secured in her own lap and not wandering anywhere they shouldn't. It was awkward enough as is...

Artist: If My Heart Had Wings OST - Song: Dreamin' Little Bird - Word Count: 1507

Taking in the smell of the cherry flavored juice that was wrapped ever so gracefully around the shaved ice, Azure basked in the wonderful treats rather cold air. It swept itself from the bottom of the large paper cone all the way to the edges of his skin, slowly and eloquently tingling the very pores of his skin. Watching the world around him as he downed a small amount of desert is something anyone could be rather fond of, especially in this unbearable heat. With the heat index only growing as the day would go on, the midday sun radiated a large amount of heat downward at the male. With some luck, the shade nearly entirely filtered out. Twisting and turning with child like delight, the young cotton candy haired male watched as the market bustled here and there as it always did. It was interesting watching the humans go about their daily lives now that spiritual beings have been visible for multiple centuries. Its as if who they were wasn't much a problem at all, that is if they didn't go out of their way to cause problems for the residents currently residing on Earth. There he went, yet again. Making the day about work, that's far from why he had come to the market, he wouldn't let the livings of a leader cause problems for him today. No sir he wouldn't.

Removing his cellphone from his pocket, Azure carefully licked at the ice crystals that began to melt within the paper cone in his left hand. Gracefully flipping through a news article with his right, Azure studied the area around him with a rather delicate perception. A woman shifted her body as she made her way through the crowds, a male was making his way through the stalls to find something to eat no doubt, and a small group of children were making quite the ruckus for a store owner. That was when Azure felt an odd presence. No... not just one, three. There was a branching group of women making their way through the tight corridors of the Karakura City Markets. They were all of varying strength but it seemed as if they all gave off the same type of energy. Sisters, Maybe? A Mother and her children? Azure wasn't entirely sure, nor did it seem to phase him much in terms of removing himself from the bench. He felt as if that anything was needed he would be aware of the situation. Turning his head to the left, the young male watched as the world around him sped up only slightly, as if he was stuck in a stasis of sorts. It was yet another problem he had gained from the years of work. He always had a sense of tiredness that would wash over his body rather frequently. Shaking off the feeling of unease, Azure focused once again on the article in front of him.

The expansive sky around him began to churn with the beautiful color of a crystal clear lake. It was a beautiful sight, one that was sadly being wasted on the article in front of the male. It was referring to him and The Vanguard speech that he had given nearly a week or so ago. The reporter stated one thing after another. "It seems as if another leader has once again taken the mantle up at the Vanguard, an org bent on protecting Earth. Here at Karakura news, we doubt he'll be doing anything in this position. He made demands of Earth to strike back with him and those working under him. Along with that he stated out right to those of Shadowfall, the organization that has taken it upon themselves to control a large amount of the Earth, to give them back what is are. We can understand and empathize with this... Azure Iramasha, but we can no aid him in what he requested. We here at Karakura News believe he won't be able to do anything for us. Despite that, he still intends on helping out the humans and spiritual beings on this Earth as best as he can. We commend Azure Iramasha for his values but wish him to leave what we have to deal with to us, he won't be much of an asset to us." It wasn't the first time Azure had heard such words from someone, he knew it wouldn't be the last. Letting out a small sigh he went back to scanning the market in front of him. Once again, the three women's spiritual signatures popped up on his imaginary radar nearly instantly. The stronger of the three held one of the energies rather close to her body before the other joined momentarily. The strongest was quick, from the sensory details Azure could pick up she was the same size as the first to reach her back, slightly bigger than the last. Her body seemed to be nimble if it were able to carry two of the same sized people with her own weight following in suit. It was interesting to, once again, feel the acts that Humans could do on this earth. Each and every person in Karakura seemed to understand who the Spiritual beings of their world were, and even some of these humans could go toe to toe with this powerful foes in their path. It had reminded Azure of his only family.... it was a refreshing feeling to know he wasn't entirely alone.

Nevertheless, it seemed that they were only here to enjoy themselves at the Market on this deadly day of excruciating heat. Azure could far from blame them for wanting to get some type of relief in the blistering coils of the sun, that's why he himself sat beneath the shade of a tree and had half melted ice in his hand. Recognizing that he went too long without eating the small, frozen crystals of water, Azure downed nearly the entire cone to release a small sigh. The feeling of the cold tingling along his tongue sent an odd chill throughout his body, it made him feel rather... refreshed, and nice. It was a good factor to include in the warm days of Karakura City. It was yet another thing Azure took into account as he launched backwards once more, dropping his head to give himself once again, a small amount of time to relax. As he rested his body, he felt the humans and spiritual beings around him go about their days. Getting desert, buying groceries, ordering appliances and watching as the bystanders had their fun. Azure felt at home in such an environment. With the way his clan previously worked, the Iramasha were big on the family thing. Interacting with each other, going out of their way each day to make sure people knew they were welcomed, and doing their best to be a family setting. Azure could take pride in the fact that he once held the same mentality, if it weren't for his work he would have never left the island in the first place. But, alas, he was needed elsewhere.

Falling asleep for a split second, Azure's body went into what seemed to be an entirely undefensive state. The area around him didn't mean much to him, the people that were currently around him didn't worry him, so why not snooze for awhile? That's when he felt an odd sensation on the side of his body. Almost instantly waking up, Azure felt the rush of energy he had felt previously only minutes ago directly next to him, pushed up against his body. It seemed to be as if she had fallen asleep, her breath coming from her rather small and thin lips equally and as heavily as the last. She was an interesting woman, it had seemed. Her body was slim yet she... was rather large in other areas. She took amazing care of herself, even her hair seemed to be rather healthy for an average human. Azure's face became rose-colored as he shifted his body slightly, the pressure of the woman's appendages and body against his was now a foreign feeling to him. It had been so long since he had any sort of physical contact with another being, whether sensual or not. Shaking his head rather vigorously, Azure placed his index finger on the female's shoulder, the light touch that accompanied it was to show he wasn't as hostile as someone would be led to believe.

"Um, Miss? Y-You seem to have fallen asleep on me. Are you alright?" Azure shifted the hand that was previously placed on her shoulder to her forehead, checking to see if she had some type of temperature. That wasn't the case, was she alright? He felt worried, he couldn't help but want to help. Sigh, Azure released a small breath of air as he looked her up and down. She was beautiful, that much he couldn't deny. If only she was coherent enough to explain that she was alright. Azure could use that reassurance.

A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed] Empty Re: A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed]

Thu Jun 25, 2015 11:00 pm

''Zzzz... Zzzz...'' The matured woman's breathing didn't break stride, rolling across his collarbone or crashing against the side of his neck like gentle waves of the ocean against the coast. Try as he might to extract himself from this predicament, every little movement made only caused her to inch ever closer to him and nuzzle tighter into his side. By the time he'd managed to reach over and tap her shoulder, her hips had already shimmied into place against his. His attempt to rouse her from her state of unconsciousness failed and backfired; instead of that, she responded by moving her hands out of her lap and wrapping her arms around his closest to hug it tightly. The limb trapped within her grasp was brought further into the cage, making it much more difficult to move it than before. The pressure of her breasts around it increased as it was brought in between them, which wasn't the most unpleasant of sensations. If he looked at her face—which was now dangerously close to his as a result of the stirring—he would see the wide grin plastered on her face, as she gave off the impression of being very comfortable like this. She didn't wear a blush as the male did, however, further implying that she didn't realize just how intimately close the two were at that moment. A soft noise of contentment escaped through her smiling lips as she settled still once more, cuddling his arm as if the two were a couple.

In Naomi's dreams, the situation was quite radically different to reality, the landscape a wintery wonderland with ankle-deep snow as far as the eye could see. It would seem the shaved ice would have quite the effect on her subconscious for her to have created such a place. It was a good defense against the blistering hot sun, to imagine oneself in such a chilly environment. She was a free-spirited girl, openly playing in the snow with all of her might. She drew pictures with her hands and often ended up snacking on the piles of snow she collected from making her sketches. It was a very good thing that all of the snow here seemed to taste like blue raspberry shaved ice, too, enticing her taste buds with what was her favorite fruity flavor. As she enjoyed herself to all she could eat, she carefully began to craft an image that meant a lot to her: As best as she could, she scooped lines out of the snow, slowly bringing it to life. These things that were happening in her dreams would translate somewhat into the real world, too. Surely the person she was clinging to would be taken aback as Naomi made an open-mouthed smile and began to drool on his shoulder, doubtless due to the stimulation of her taste buds from the snow. Her long, delicate fingers would also begin to trace lines and spirals into his arm, supposedly reflecting the picture she was creating in her dreams. After several moments of affectionate harassment to the unknown male, the image in Naomi's dream would finally be finished. Side-by-side were the two most important people in her life, Kimiyo and Koko, smiling and holding hands. She drew herself behind them, hugging both and happy just as well. As she took a long and fulfilling survey of her work, she became satisfied and closed her eyes in the dream world...

Then opened her eyes in the real world, gradual, delicate. Her eyelashes fluttered as the flushed face of the bench's other occupant came into view, first as a blur, then more colorfully illustrated once her pupils had adjusted to its proximity. ''Mmmm~...?'' came her confused voice, as she slowly broke out of her sleepy state. She didn't seem too surprised by the current situation however, due to the fact that she was used to waking up like this already. This definitely was not the first time she napped while clinging onto somebody else—her sisters were often targets of her unconscious snuggling. Ohhhh haiiiiiii~... was all she could say before letting out a big yawn. She seemed aware now, but hadn't quite unlocked the cage that his arm was trapped in, or pulled away. ''I saw you sleeping so comfortably on the bench that I couldn't help it~... I got tired and fell asleep too~... Zzzz...'' The way she spoke was strange. Her pronunciation was slow and lazy like her, and she had the voice of an adolescent that almost didn't fit her appearance. Besides that, it would seem as though the woman had also fallen asleep yet again. Her cheek nuzzled against the damp spot she'd made on his shoulder, and the full pressure of her body could be felt pressing against his arm.

''My name is Naomi~'' she would suddenly whisper after several more moments of rest, without any warning whatsoever. Her eyes would open ever slightly to show the sparkling emerald hues behind them, like gemstones glimmering in the darkness of a cavern. Seeming to finally take a hint, she would pick herself up off of the man she'd been clutching against his will, and freed his arm from her grasp. She was sitting up straight now, but looking like she'd fall over and go right back to sleep at any moment. ''Hehe~... Sorry, I love sleeping lots, so sometimes I just nap when I'm in the middle of talking...'' Her eyes closed, but it was more out of laziness than out of tiredness—she was still awake and had her attention on the male next to her. In fact, she seemed to be studying him, in her own... unorthodox manner. Her smile faded as she took her observations in, a feeling arising from her gut as she came to understand it a little. What she could sense was disconcerting, as an unbelievable weight pressed down on this man, like he was drowning deep deep down in the ocean's waters, where the pressure was more powerful. Every movement had strong resistance pushing back against it, wearing away at him. He had a level of exhaustion so heavy that she couldn't comprehend it in her own mind, but she knew it was bad at the very least. She spoke her mind as best as she could word what she saw: ''You're a veeeeeeeeery sleepy person...''

Artist: If My Heart Had Wings OST - Song: Dreamin' Little Bird - Word Count: 992

There was no luck, Azure's body was to be fully engulfed by the mysterious woman located beside him. The pressing of her soft skin against his own seemed to only tangle his mind further down a plot of unknown thoughts and horrors. She didn't awake from her slumber at even the most forceful of touches. The woman seemed to radiate a state of incoherence that Azure had never seen before. It wasn't that she was asleep due to being tired, it felt as if her sleep was simply for the fun of it. It was as if she were flowing through a world within her own mind while each and every other being watched from the outside. It wasn't a bad sight, anyone could agree with Azure when he thought of this. She was delicate, despite her larger feminine body. She wasn't a twig, yet each curve and placement of skin seemed to be nearly perfect. She was toned, her being in a state of perfection at the highest level for any normal human being. It was fascinating, to see such a woman rely what would be considered a conditioned state to Azure. She didn't flinch, she did not remove herself from the male, it was as if she were entirely in a separate plane of existence.

I can only imagine how amazing that would be... Azure thought to himself, his body shifting only slightly under the woman's pressure. She was a beauty, if Azure had and right to speak. Nevertheless, he shifted once more to make sure the woman's obscene drool was hidden from the onlookers. If anything, Azure could play along long enough for her to wake up and for those around to not watch them as if they were... odd. Shaking his head furiously to free himself of unwarranted thoughts, the male pat the woman's arm softly, yawning as he watched the world around them continue. It was as if he found some type of connection through nothing. Now, it was a given that she was currently sleeping against his being, but also drooling against him. It seemed that if she were truly in a state of sleep, she was truly and utterly out of it. They say to never judge a book by its cover, but could anyone really decide what a woman of this caliber would be dreaming of? It didn't matter much to Azure, it was simply a passing thought as he awaited some type of response in the young female. Maybe a twitch, her body shifting, a state of mind that may show that she was truly there. Alas... Nothing. Just a section of space held the two together, the woman's breasts were more than enough to take up Azure's entire arm and nearly his entire side. It was once again, a state he was not used in any way shape or form. Releasing what seemed to be a small yawn, the woman's eyes finally fluttered open.

If anything, her eyes were what turned Azure into a dumbfounded idiot. With the tiny of emerald green, her eyes shone like a glass window in the bright sun. Azure's entire being seemed to shiver at the shine of her pupils, the beautiful color nearly digging through the very depths of soul. Shaking off the dumbfounded look he held on his face, Azure followed what could only be the voice of a small child. He spoke precisely but rather lazily, she seemed to do everything with a slow pace. It wasn't hard to understand, just an odd tone to take in such a conversation. She slept... a lot, apparently. The bench he sat upon was a spot she felt was perfect to sleep according to his own relaxation he gained from it, the latching onto his body being entirely a mistake. It wasn't anything new, he might as well had gone along with what she spoke. "Ah, so you're used to this sort of thing." Azure was rather frank with the woman due to her already silent and lazy tone, she wasn't truly in the conversation it seemed. In fact, the act of falling asleep nearly proved entirely that she wasn't really into the conversation at all. She had nearly instantly fell asleep once more after addressing the cotton-candy colored male. It was truly a sight to behold. She could have been called borderline narcoleptic if anyone truly wanted to diagnose the... woman. Once again latching on to Azure, she silently slept for what seemed to be mere moments. Then, without much notice, her eyes flashed open and she sat upright.

Naomi, a name that would seem to bounce back and forth throughout the male's skull as he listened to her once again talk. She did this rather frequently, at least the sleeping part. She spoke of sleeping in the middle of serious conversations, a trait Azure had never seen in either a woman or man. "I've gotta say, that's something I've yet to ever encounter. It's astonishing you're able to do that." Looking Naomi up and down once more, Azure shifted his gaze to the side of her, shifting his eyes so he wasn't directly watching her. She was truly the sight to behold, and of all times to run into someone like this... why today? It was coincidence that she was here, interacting with him the way she had. It was as if someone were to force their meeting. "You're a very sleepy person..." Each word and syllable was spaced out and precise, to make sure that it were given that lazy and slow tone of speech. An odd and rather abrupt comment to make after approaching someone, but nevertheless, it didn't phase the male. Nodding, he looked off into the crowd for an answer.

"I suppose you're right. But... how could you know something like this?" Glancing once more down at Naomi, Azure couldn't help but hide a tiny smile. An interesting woman, she was. Why today, eh'?

A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed] Empty Re: A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed]

Sun Jun 28, 2015 1:51 am

The man would ask a question that Naomi would find herself at a loss of words for. Naomi was never a woman of many words to begin with, and she wasn't the brightest bulb of the bunch either. In fact, it was a miracle she'd struck home with her read on him in the first place, as such insight was rare for her. So how indeed would she know something like that about a complete and utter stranger she'd only met moments ago? The expression on Naomi's face showed her confusion, that she was unprepared to deal with the question. The beads of sweat rolled down her face faster than her lips were moving to form words. She had her mouth open as if to respond, but nothing really came, so she eventually closed it. Afterward, she would look as though she were deep in thought... closing her eyes to focus on her inner cognitions rather than the going-ons of the world around her... taking her time to truly dissect her capability to read that much into him... perhaps to come across a revelation wherein all the answers fell into place like pieces of a puzzle... it was intense...

But not actually. Naomi gave off the blatant cue of steady breathing to let him know that she'd once again fallen asleep. One shouldn't have been fooled about the blue-haired woman; her mind simply wasn't on a level to comprehend the inner workings of the world's mysteries, much less the inner workings of her breakfast this morning (An egg omelette). The attempt at thought was admirable on Naomi's part, but ultimate was just too much work her, causing her to give up and just give in to sleep. The lethargy interrupted their conversation yet again with another half-minute of soft respiration and the occasional happy crooning. She'd awake then with a sound of surprise, blinking her eyes open and looking around lazily, realizing once again she'd fallen into slumber before another person. Scrunching her eyes and furrowing her brow, she attempted dearly to remember what they were talking about, and found it. Smiling at him, she finally gave the best answer she could. ''Oh, hehe~ I dunno. I just looked at you aaaaand that was it~... You look like a sleepy person~... If you're tired, why not just sleep~?''

She would pat her hand against one of her legs, bringing the attention to her lap where her soft but slender thighs were pushed together. ''Uhh, uhh... If you want you can rest your head on my lap like Koko always does~'' Then she placed her arms under her breasts and pushed them up slightly, highlighting just how bosomy of a woman Naomi was. ''Or, or... You can lay it on my chest like Kimi prefers to~... She says it's softer~'' She blushed at her own words, looking down slightly as though embarrassed. She was slightly aware of the features of her body, but only slightly due to the mischief of her youngest sister. Even so, the advertisement of such things to a man whose name she didn't even know was rather shameless. Naomi was not completely instilled with the reservations of other women her age, seeming more like an inexperienced child in a matured adult's body. How to handle her sexuality was something she didn't really understand; what she did understand is that there was a person beside her that looked so terribly exhausted that she couldn't help it. It was the least she could do to offer him a comfortable place to lie down.

It was fine to her either way, whichever choice he made. If he did not want to use her as a pillow, she would understand why, but only thanks to Kimiyo's more promiscuous moments. So moving past that, Naomi's mind wandered, opening herself up to her surroundings with her powerful senses. Her eyes were not the best, especially with the frequency which she kept them concealed behind her eyelids. But in exchange, Naomi's other senses were incredibly well-developed. She was able to map out the entire area and pinpoint every person in the market by the echoes of the voices, each wave of sound bouncing off of the different surfaces and unto her ears. She could feel through the soles of her shoes, through the cement of the streets and dirt of the paths, the reverberations of all movement within a certain area. She could see what any other person could see with their eyes, just in a different way than them. She used this advantage to take in the various conversations, failing to comprehend most of them without context, but a pair of voices stood out, saying things that Naomi was actually knowledgeable about. They were arguing over recent news of a war being declared by the organization known as Vanguard and those not part of this realm who've taken over land from humankind.

Kimiyo was so sure that this was to be the fruit of their pilgrimage; the chance for them to show the power of the Miyake, and it was up to them to take it. Koko was in agreement with Kimiyo, albeit for different reasons. While the younger was mostly in it for the sake of the Miyake's reputation and the thrill of the fight, the middle truly wanted to fight for the sake of human beings all across the world, to liberate the lands from those who have no right to control them. And the oldest... Well the oldest just... ''I want to protect my sisters from this war.'' It was the first level statement that Naomi had made to the stranger, lacking the drawl and changes of pitch everything else she'd uttered had. She said it while not even looking at him, her attention seeming to be focused much further away on the conversations in the crowds. It was so sudden and uncharacteristic, it would leave others wondering if she'd even spoken at all. The truth was, though, that while both Kimiyo and Koko were for joining the Vanguard in this war, Naomi was currently against it. How could she, who was given the task of protecting the lives of her younger sisters, going to be in support of that motion... why was there even going to be a war at all? Were things in the world not fine? She couldn't understand it all. The only thing she knew was that war was bad...

And she pondered over the fact that due to the announcement of a single man, her two sisters would be throwing themselves in the way of danger.

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: 1183

The sky darkened as the two conversed, large storm clouds silently making their way through the expansive sky in order to consume the deep blues that swirled around that day. As expected, everyone in the Market with a knack for common sense had an umbrella or some type of hoodie in order to fend themselves from the rain when it arrived. Nevertheless, Azure would be fine, and... so would the girl. Radiating a small vibration through the air, Azure would place an invisible shield around the two. It was the least he could do for the random woman. As the drizzling rain began, Naomi continued to look at Azure. Her face seemed to hold a puzzled look for quite some time. That is, before she had fallen asleep once more. With a blink of the eye, the woman was slumped over just slightly once more, her words falling short and her mind once again at ease. Azure was dumbfounded, how could someone so easily be in and out of a conversation through something like sleep? It was abnormal, but a quirk none the less. Peering into her face as she slept, Azure's breath quickened, his eyes fluttering slightly as he jerked his head away. Tch. The sound radiating from Azure's lips was one of embarrassment. He was so close, so intimate with this stranger without even knowing her. This was far from what Azure was used to.

Jerking back yet again, Azure jumped due to the woman's abrupt reawakening. She spoke up once more, but on a topic that he had thought was done with. Sleepy... He was a tired looking man. One that seemed to need sleep nearly always, but never truly obtained the rest that would rid him of his woes. Sighing softly, Azure rubbed the side of his neck while in midst thought. "I wish it were as simple as that. I'd love for abit of sleep every once in awhile. But, with my job I don't seem to get anytime for sleep, let alone rest. The best I can do is take it with stride, to make sure that I don't become overwhelmed day in and day out. I appreciate the thought, though. No one has said that to me before." Azure turned to the woman and smiled, trying to instill some type of confidence in her. Azure knew that on the inside, he was fighting a war with his own mind. Things were not going his way, but to the outside world he hoped it would look fine. He meant to hold a facade for as long as he could, in order to make sure others were happy, or... at least willing to let him do his job.

The smile that spread along Azure's face had soon disappeared, a look of surprise and utter nervousness had followed it. Without any hesitation it seemed, Naomi was offering her body to him for rest. Laying a hand on her thigh, she emphasized that Azure would be allowed to use her slender thighs as a pillow top, the woman's legs seemingly pressed together all the way to the ankle. With that, her arms moved upward in a crossed motion under chest. The motion softly, but forcefully, perked her breasts up into a pillow as well. She was straight forward and blunt about her body as a pillow, despite Azure being a complete stranger to her. Ridden with nervousness, Azure's face radiated heat as if it were a second sun. The male was far from used to this type of treatment. Normally, he as alone. If not alone, he was at the Vanguard Headquarters trying his best to make the best out of the world's current situation. The last contact he had with any woman on any level was years ago, a thought that had never truly crossed his mind. Moving backwards only slightly, the rain began to pick up, Azure's head turning to the side in order to hide his thoughts. "I-It's alright, don't mind me. Sleep is sleep, it's not like I won't get it at some other time." Azure thought as if he were an idiot, no man should interact with the other sex this way. He acted as if he was a teenager yet again, his entire mentality shifting to embarrassment. There was no need for it, yet, why couldn't he help it?

"I'm Azure, Azure Iramasha. I'm sorry for the late introducion." He breathed outwards, trying to calm his mind as he hunched over, rubbing his hands along his thighs, pressing each individual finger into them. It was a reminder that he was alive, and making the best of it. It was an odd thing to do, but if something can make someone's mood adjust simply from the touch, there was no reason to continue. Placing both of his hands together, Azure eyed the woman from the corner of his eye. He was curious, and confused. Why would this woman of all people be the one to sit beside him? Was there a reason for her to be here, was it fate? He shook the feeling of unease from his mind as he side. The rain was thick and wet, the market glowing with a ray of happiness as both kids and adults played, the store owners trying their best not to join in. It was a wonderful sight, pure happiness, perfected in such a young crowd. This is what Azure strived for in his future, the male wanted nothing but to protect this way of life. He wanted these people to feel the happiness they felt this very day, but for their entire lives. That was when the moment took a turn for the worse. Naomi was sad, or at least, worried it seemed. She spoke of the coming war and how it would be effecting her family.

Sighing, Azure's body stiffened at the thought that he was the one who caused all of this. He was the one putting others in danger. He never meant for it to be that type of reaction, but for every cause there is an effect. Azure knew this all too well, he would simply have to deal with it as each day went on, leading up to its end. "You seem to like to sleep. I can't take you up on the offer, Naomi. But, if you'd like, my body is an option as well." His face grew red as he leaned backward, placing his arms against his sides. "I wish the war didn't have to happen. There are people that will be hurt, but if it doesn't begin, the world will never get better. There are so many people that have been killed for the sake of killing, people that deserved to live for years to come. It has to be stopped... No matter the cost." His tone quieted, a sense of sadness washing over him as he looked out into the distance.

This was his fault. No one could say otherwise. All the male wished to do was help others, but in the end, it won't do anything but harm them.

A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed] Empty Re: A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed]

Fri Jul 03, 2015 6:50 pm

Naomi truly thought her idea was a brilliant one; sleep, that is. It was so easy to do and it solved all of the stress, exhaustion, and grogginess that came with being awake too long. This man beside her was ridden at least with the first two, so she thought she'd given the perfect treatment to him. It was simple in her verdant green hues, but he didn't think so. There was a disjoint in points of view here, and Naomi couldn't imagine the type of 'job' that would take away so much time that sleep was hardly possible. He would grant her his gratitude however, enough to satisfy her for the time being. Seeing his smile, which she took as genuine, she smiled as well. She was just like a child, easily amused and easily tricked, seemingly vulnerable. It was likely the feeling that this man was getting from her: She was a vulnerable little girl, incapable of truly understanding the depth of the world's issues. She tried to break through the walls to get straight to the point with a simplistic answer that solved everything—how naive. Still, as harsh as these thoughts may have been, it would not be untrue for him to think them as they were exactly the truth. It's why he was able to relax around her easier than he could relax with someone who could hold a serious conversation about the world's issues. It was why he was, whether knowingly or not, avoiding details and explaining things to her as if she was a child who would not understand the details anyways. "You'll understand when you're older" is what would usually be said here, if Naomi didn't already seem to have fully bloomed into an adult. Her height was greater than most women and her curvatures still managed to match her body-type very well. Physically, she was an adult, but not mentally, and that was the disjoint.

She continued still, though, trying to find a way to make the concept of sleep more appetizing. While her head was not ripe with so many ideas, she knew the areas of her body which were soft enough to sleep on comfortably, thanks to many compliments of her sisters. Her lap and her breasts would always be prime locations for their heads whenever she was used as a body pillow. She'd never offered to someone else to sleep on her however, which did cause the redness in her face. It was true that Naomi was an affectionate creature, but she'd never been so quick to allow such things as this to anyone else, and she didn't know exactly why. She saw Azure and thought he was tired, but she could not comprehend how much weight he bared on his shoulders, or how strong of a connection was created because of it. It was a phenomenon akin to love at first sight, which again she was not apt enough to recognize. So, when he rebutted her offer, of course she became a little upset, as anyone familiar with the mind of a child would have been able to predict. She frowned and whined, her voice cracking as it fluctuated to a high pitch. ''Nuuuu... Putting sleep of is unhealthy~! It's baaaaaaad to stay awake when you're tired...'' Clearly, she was earnest about sleeping.

He did give her something else to think about, distracting her with a name, finally. Even though he uttered it so fluidly, the pronunciation left a question mark above her head. A... Aaaa... A... s-su... rrrrrr~? ...A... su... ra~? ...Asu... re~? She closed one eye and had the other open, and her brows were furrowed in confusion as she tried to apply the basics of the Japanese alphabet to his name when they didn't really fit. She continued on for a while trying to find the best sounding one, eventually settling with a pleased smile on her face, as if proud of herself. ''Asure-kun~... Hmmmmmmmmmmm... ... ...'' Naomi's cordial hum quickly drifted away and transformed into rhythmic breathing, presumably falling asleep because of just how content she was at the moment—but not really. She 'looked' up with closed eyes, seeing not with them, but with her ears. Her mouth formed a small 'oh' shape for a moment as she took in the scene just inches away from her nose. The rain intruded upon their sunny day, droplets by the thousands washing over the open-sky market. When the torrent reached them however, it was stopped. Naomi could hear the water drumming on something just above her, like an umbrella. To most it was invisible. Those who saw with their eyes witnessed an ethereal sight of rain impacting nothing, but to Naomi who heard with her ears, she saw something real.

The conversation that she'd overheard from within the throng of people faded away as the rain arrived, making what was being said unintelligible from here. With that gone, she was broken out of her gloomy reverie about her sisters. She didn't like to dwell on such things for too long anyways, preferring to avoid the thought of all the bad things in this world when possible. She redirected her attention to Azure and heard him out on his offer to let her sleep on him, despite that she'd already taken advantage of him earlier without asking. A part of her was upset he didn't take the chance to sleep on her, but that was overwritten by a much louder childlike voice inside of her head. Letting out a pleasant noise, she let the weight of her body fall against his once again, wrapping her arms around his neck and holding the softness of her body against his side. Her head nuzzled into the crook of his neck trying to find the most comfortable angle to be at, before eventually becoming lax as the Miyake fell into her slumber. It was so fast that the words of war spoken by Azure fell upon unconscious ears, never heard by the blue-haired woman. Perhaps it was for the best that they did not reach her.

''Asure-kun~...'' she sighed happily, looking more comfortable than she had before.

A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed] Empty Re: A Sleepless Afternoon [Closed]

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: 1366

It was a simple movement from his thigh to his head, Azure's body shifting slightly as he continued to smile at the woman next to him. Normally, Azure would be on the other side of the city inside the headquarters of one of the most infamous organizations to date. Normally, Azure would be holed up in the small apartment he purposely uses for living quarters here in the city or in a tiny office, pushing himself to the brink of exhaustion. Normally, Azure was alone, fending for himself in order to save the world. All of these things were a normality for Azure, a sense of security and safety, something he felt was apart of his purpose. But, this day was different, and both he and Naomi knew that. The male's finger tips dug into the back of his head ever so slightly, shifting back in forth and a movement that could be considered nervousness, a reaction brought on by his own personality. It was all in a days worth of oddity and confusion, it seemed. The male would never got out of his way to talk to someone such as Naomi, a young woman with an even younger mind, let alone anyone else older or younger than her. If it weren't for her random arrival, this would have never happened. Each and every step leading to this very moment seemed to be an odd sense of fate, in terms of meeting. Nevertheless, it kept Azure on his toes even more than he was used to.

The smile that erected itself on Azure's lips seemed to linger for quite some time as the woman seemed to prod and persist her way into getting him to rest. She wasn't wrong in any way you could imagine, but despite this, Azure wasn't going to be giving in anytime soon. She insisted, but Azure could never bring himself to do something such as what she requested. No matter how tired or exhausted the male would be, he could never purposely go out of his way to use another woman as a resting place. She wasn't just a young woman, she was a young woman with more than enough assets for two separate women. Not that it was a terrible thing, Naomi just seemed to be taller than your average woman. Her body was slim yet... filled out in many of the areas along its landscape. Its as if she had been sculpted by a higher deity, someone above Azure's pay grade apparently. It was obvious that each and every surface of her body had been given an attentive looking over by whatever seemed to bring her to fruition. Nevertheless, Naomi was still a woman. Azure couldn't, no matter what conditions were to follow him, bring himself to use her as a pillow. It was out of the question. It was not him, nor ever would be. Not unless he had been intimate with the woman.

"I know, I know. You only just met me, don't scold me like I'm a kid. It's degrading." A smirk replaced the previous smile Azure head as he let a small laugh form in his throat. Naomi was adorable no matter how you looked at her. She was like a child, yet it didn't seem to bug Azure too much. It wasn't as if she was stupid or completely oblivious to the world. She just seemed to be different compared to others of her stature. She was... interesting, to say the least. Azure liked that all too much. It reminded him of himself and his brother, the oddity within the Iramasha family.

Only as the conversation seemed to continue did Azure truly feel that this woman had tendencies that no one could deny were of the utmost cuteness. Of course, Azure gave his name despite taking so long, but what had came after could never be explained in words. She didn't seem to understand how to pronounce it at first. Each and every syllable that came from her lips changed as he eased into the name's pronunciation. She tried her best, over and over again in order to get it right, down to the very period. Not only did the cute woman's lips push her over and over in getting the pronunciation down, her face seemed to follow in suit. Her eyebrows moved reverently as she placed each of the word's letters gently against her tongue, one eye removing itself entirely from the equation that was learning Azure's name. He couldn't help be grow redder and redder as the woman continued. It was too adorable to live through, it was too strong of a reaction to be entirely fine with it. She tried, hard, in order to learn such a simple name. It was... interesting, yet hard to understand.

The quiet rain continued to pound at the sound barrier lifted above the two. It was an interesting sight, to watch rain dissipate as if it never existed. Azure always found his abilities to be one of a kind, one that he had never seen others use in any way shape or form. It made him feel somewhat special, despite being a lowly Iramasha. Adjusting to the sound, Azure looked upward to the sky. An endless, expansive wave of grey swamped its way over Karakura City on that day. It was something Azure knew would be coming no matter what the day had been, with the coming of change, and the summer months, it seemed that Karakura had been experiencing more and more rain as the days continued. That, was when it happened. Azure knew he previously gave Naomi the option to use him as a body pillow, just as she had, but he never truly expected her to take him up on his offer. Her movements were abrupt and quick, a sense of agility moving behind them. In mere seconds, Naomi was yet again clung to Azure. Arms wrapped along the male's neck as if she were meant to be next to him, her weight growing ever heavier against his. She was simple, and only wished to rest. It... was the least Azure could do, in his own eyes it seemed. Finally resting her head against the crook of her neck, Naomi seemed to find a stopping point, a position that gave her the most out of what she had. Looking surprisingly comfortable, Naomi let out a sigh and spoke Azure's name.

It had been quite some time since Azure had heard another person say his name like that, decades if he truly thought about it. He was alone for such a long time that he forgot what it meant to hear such a soft and soothing voice. It relaxed him in ways he could not describe, just as the rain did. Azure needed this sense of calm to wash over him, he had worried enough about the impending war he had caused. It seemed to already start effecting those around Karakura and the world, Naomi being one of the few that thought of it. It tore at Azure's heart as if a bowie knife had been dug into his chest. Such a woman had to worry because of him, that had been the last thing he wished for people. Especially someone he had just met.

"Alright, you know my name, I know yours. Do you want to talk about who you are? Where you came from, Naomi-Chan?" Azure felt that it was duty to match her own mentality, a sense of ease washing over the two. She made it easier to talk, easier to feel the world around him. It wasn't the fact that he had become latched to her already. Naomi's mind set simply helped Azure realize the things around him in a brighter light, a simple like. One that didn't intend on him shouldering a world's weight upon his shoulders. It was an odd connection that sprouted between Azure and Naomi that day, but one thing was certain. The woman had already changed his life in a span of minutes. It had been the first time in decades that this had happened from anyone, so to have it now in such a time of need... was reassuring.

There was something about him that struck just right with her, past the nonsensical connection she developed with him because he was an exhausted-looking person. He spoke with big words and sounded mature, as an adult should. He accepted the responsibility of taking care of Naomi's tendencies in good stride, not taking advantage of her as some might, nor reacting too adversely to it as others would. He was mature about the situation, handling it so carefully. She knew this feeling; behind the brazen personalities of her sisters were people who cared for her like this. They accepted who she was and allowed her to be herself around them, and took care of her even though she was the eldest. What she was experiencing from the man she clung to like a scarf taut around his neck, it was the same. He was... brotherly, for lack of a better word, at least in Naomi's vocabulary. He must have had siblings of his own with how he was handling this, and must have been raised well too. And, it was this easy flow between them that allowed her to behave without reservation. Like peanut butter and chocolate, it was quite surprising how well they meshed together, literally.

And if it was these feelings of Naomi's that represented the pole being uplifted, then it would be his next words that raised the flag atop it: 'Naomi-chan,' what Azure referred to her as at the end of his question, tacked on in a way that took her but surprise, pleasantly. It was so abrupt that Naomi found herself squeaking out a curt, high-pitched ''Oh...'' when the final syllable left his lips. She had been able to give the affectionate honorific out so casually as it was in her nature, but receiving one back was different. With the tables turned like that, there was of course the slight pause where Naomi was holding her breath, just trying to deal with the surprise. However, in mere moments she let that held breath out like a tidal wave all across the skin of his cheek and neck, in the form of an elated whinny. Heeeeeeeeeee~... Asure-kun is so cuuuuuuuute~! Her voice cracked mid-sentence, displaying how much of an effect his efforts had had on her. It went even one step further than that as Naomi's mouth devoured the gap of air obstructing the side of his neck. The woman's already lenient definition of acquaintanceship had blurred even further with this man, and she began her assault of affection against the crook of his neck.

She pressed her lips on the open plain of skin he had there, over and over again, a different place each time. Her tongue slid across it leaving trails of saliva in its wake, and there was a nonstop stream of audible slurping noises and delectable murmurs radiating from her mouth. The assault of her lips could hardly be classified as kisses, lacking the real mature passion of a lover's desire. She was closer to a child, fervently enjoying herself with a delicious candy, or moreso like an animal giving another a bath. Naomi of course lacked the experience of a woman, and it showed plain as day between them, and yet still... warm breaths caressed him as her saliva stuck slickly to his flesh. Naomi's cheeks were blushing and they were radiating a fevered heat that did not even need direct contact to be felt. It was unrefined, but the intensity was there. Her tongue would slide up the side of his face, teasing his earlobe before her mouth captured it and began suckling it. Some of his hair would be caught between her lips as her attack continued, albeit Naomi didn't seem to realize it, much less mind it.

It was some time before Naomi was done letting her affections out on the poor victim, and by the time she was done, half of his face was covered in her spit and several locks of his pink hair near his ear were sticking out crooked. She would release his ear from her mouth with a contented sigh, the sound of one who was satisfied. It may have seemed like the question asked by Azure had been forgotten, washed away in the wave of affection given by Naomi, but she began to speak on it normally as if it had all been a part of the flow of the conversation. ''Mmmm... I'm Naomi... and I like sleeping a loooooot~'' she reiterated, speaking as though that alone summed up her character; it might have. To emphasize her point, she tilted her head back and released a powerful yawn—the type of yawn that caused others to feel sleepy and yawn as well. After finishing, she relaxed her head on his shoulder, smiling softly as she continued in her lazy drawl. ''I live with my two sisters and try to make sure they are being good people... but they can be scaaaaaaary sometimes~... Mmmmmmmmm... I still love them though~'' Her eyes were open here, narrowed in happiness, but open nonetheless. Dazzling emeralds peered out, sparkling due to the fall of rain being reflected off the glossy surface. The faces of her two sisters came to her mind, and they were smiling as they looked back at her. She couldn't help but feel warmth in her heart at the thought of them like that. It was so simple, so plain, and yet so perfect in Naomi's eyes. There needed to be nothing else.
