Most of his powers weren't returning after making the trip into hell but his strength was back but his flesh was burned to complete crisp and his healing magic was slow here. The mad one was trying to figure out what was wrong but these rakshasa demons were the demons of hell and then again those guys weren't the demons to mess with but the mad demon was weaken. However, Eric needed to escape because of the rumors and laughter of his last and final fight with the rakshasa it was a pitiful attempt on his part still the laughter haunts him still. But Mana managed to set him straight but the mad demon had a telepathic link to the demon queen could it be the demon queen was able to read his thoughts that might be a problem still a lot of questions pop into his mind. Their were reasons why the mad one wanted to stay in hell and become a higher demon but another reason there maybe a chance that his wife was somewhere within hell. When the mad demon tried searching for her when he died fighting the suguiran knight; Eric tried looking for her energy signature yet it wasn't within the endless soul plane the first place that mad soul looked. Another soul managed to tell the mad demon everything that Miyuki Sakauyamont was actually Trinity Asthavon and indeed one of Mana's sisters something the mad demon didn't want to believe at all. The shock almost wounded the mad soul the thought of Kristen Hiroshima turning into a soldier for the Asthavon clan that worried him the most thinking the last thing precious destroyed. Eric thought long and hard within the endless soul plane thinking about the Asthavon clan and their connections within the demon realm and hell. They couldn't be messed with and hopefully one day one of them will destroy them from within but the mad demon swore never to hurt the Asthavon clan a promise he wanted to keep.
Anyone of those bastards could get to his daughter and still her identity might be a mystery and if the mad demon can find her mother here maybe she'll listen to reason. But the mad one while dead within the endless plane of souls came to one conclusion to ensure his daughter's safety the mad one would have no choice to keep serving the Asthavon clan. Anyone of those clan members might use his daughter as leverage against him who knows if Mana knew this already that one of her sisters had a surviving good hearted daughter. If Mana turned Kristen's heart evil the mad demon would never be able to forgive the demon queen still it may sicken his stomach but the mad demon had no other choice the guy needed more power. To become a permanent servant to the Asthavon's will; He might want to seal the deal and the demon queen wouldn't be able to pull something like this off.
Eric Zarathos was in hell pondering on this decision and the mad one came the unholy conclusion either the deveta himself or Khala Asthavon might be willing to listen. Still the mad demon had nothing to offer but his loyalty and servitude but he wanted to know something as well as he gathers his wits and demands to speak to either the deveta or the deveta's heart. "HEAR ME MY CREATORS, I UNDERSTAND MY FAILURES AND WANT TO MAKE A CLEAN SLATE OF MY TRANSGRESSIONS FOR TOO LONG I THOUGHT THINGS WOULD GO MY WAY. BUT CLEARLY I WAS WRONG; IF YOU WANT TO BE YOUR INSTRUCTION OF DESTRUCTION BUT I WANT TO BE THE MAD DEMON NO MORE. I WILL DO WHATEVER YOU WISH OR MAKE SURE YOUR ENEMIES ARE DUST BENEATH YOUR FEET. BUT BEFORE I BECOME YOUR DEATHDEALER I WANNA SPEAK TO THE HEART OF THE DEVETA BECAUSE I HAVE A OFFER FOR HER ONE THAT I BELIEVE SHE WILL WANT TO HEAR. PLEASE HEART OF DEVETA I WILL ACCEPT YOUR TERMS AND PLEDGE MY ALLEGIANCE TO YOUR TEACHINGS BUT WE NEED TO TALK ONCE MORE" Eric yelled.
The mad demon didn't want to do this but for his daughter's safety this had to be done and whatever the heart of the deveta had planned; Eric will have to accept it. Whatever it is???
Red, red, red dripping from all around the world. The sky was drenched in blood, the earth red as lava and air as hot as the surface of sun itself. As a crimson star shined in the endless sea of scarlet above, one would assume this is the utmost and truest version of Hell. A place devoid life, endless torture and eternal pain.
However -- this was but a ruse.
Where Eric had ended up during his bum-rush through Hell was a negative spot. It seemed, that through his determination, the demonic overlord reached a null zone of The Underworld for there was no spirits or landmass to be found. In fact, like a sudden realization coming to life, he'd soon find himself floating in a mass of pure nothingness. In this sphere, the infinite seas of rose hue would fade away into nothingness and there would be darkness.
Alabaster mist flowed in all directions and a sense of calming atmosphere, illumination and power would sweep into the area around The Mad Demon. In this time, the skies transitioned into a shade of ocean blue and a firm warmth soon would envelop his body. In a matter of moments following that peak point, solid ground would once again be upon The Mad One's feet and a chunk of soft, cool grass could be felt. In that time, he'd come to the conclusion that he was on a floating mass in a void of azure skies, puffy white clouds and planetoid masses far off in the distance.
"I've heard your cries, child. Worry not, for I will indulge in your wishes so long as you take our hand into Khalaism."
An all too familiar feminine voice called out from above. With a quick look to the skies, he'd soon find that The Goddess, Khala Asthavon, was sitting high upon a tree none too far from his location. Even from the shade which covered her body, the crystal stare of The Demonic Creator's gaze could be seen as her aqua hair flew against the breeze.
Pointing a single index finger at the hulking mad figure, The Godling smiled upon her fellow subject and nodded her head to acknowledge what he had said. He had indeed faced many challenges, hardships and defeat more times than the Mad One would care too admit. So, perhaps, there was a form of pity, but this soul was indeed lost and in need of a home. Therefore, the pathway to her religion was one such way that could grant him access to a community, desire and fulfillment of his eternal life at the same time.
Thus, she'd point towards the stream of overflowing water oozing out towards The Demonic Overlord. Why would she point towards such a thing? Because it was her essence and prowess that flowed within it. Should her partake in a sip of this lifeblood, he'd soon find that the mark of Khalaism would ingest itself into his spiritual being and awaken him to the demon he needs to be. In this way, he'd become enlightened, empowered and made whole by becoming apart of their union.
"Come now, my child. All you must do is drink my blood and the ceremony will commence. If you wish to talk, then partake in my existence and find something higher to help guide you."
Her words soon became softer as the Godling gradually levitated down from her tree in order to walk clear across the water on her bare feet. All the while, The Asthavon's sleeveless pearl white dress flapped gently flailed against the cool, spring breeze that blew over the heavenly slice of nirvana around them. The tree near them brushed back and forth as the rays of light from the celestial sun above them grew stronger the further Khala got closer to Eric.
Placing her hands behind her back, The Divine Creator gave a serene smile to The Mad Demon as she otherwise attempted to sedate and relax his maddening nerves. There were many signs that the outside world was tormenting his soul, driving him further into despair and draining away the very essence of his spirit. And, if he were to be apart of her people, she could not allow such a thing to come to pass. Ergo, he'd find that her mental influence may allow him clarity, rational thought and to smoothly compose his thoughts, emotions and ideas.
So, by the time she placed her right hand upon his cheek, The Asthavon gave a slight smirk and nodded her head at what needed to be done.
And with that simple phrase, she'd twirl on her heels once more and motion for Eric to follow her further upstream and walk on this river of her lifeblood. For, the deeper he'd allow her influence to circulate within him, the deeper he would find himself consumed by this all fulling purpose. As, at the end of the day, Khala had no need for a grunt to begin obliterating in the name of Khalaism. If such a thing were required, she had much better means to do so with her own power alone.
Instead, she genuinely wanted to help this unfortunate soul find his purpose, meaning and desire in life. The many stories she heard from Eric were none too good and it seemed as if he could use an honest hand to help him discover his way. So, as a shepherd would guide his flock to the water, as to would Khala lead The Mad Demon to the essence of her insight.
"And please, there is no need to scream or shout here. You are in my domain and I promise you will be alright here so long as you adhere by our laws and commandments. So please, drink my blood and discover what our plan and become whole~"
With that, she'd stop dead center in this river and smile once more at Eric to see just what his answer would be. Was he going to drink the water, or was he going to decline? There was no telling what he might do, so the determination of his fate was well in his hands at this point. What he would do with it was up to him.
Everything was changing around him this wasn't the hell that the mad one was expecting it seemed a little weird but the guy knew better who knows what Khala has planned. Eric calmed down because of the situation that he was in the suguiran defeated hm what was worse most of his powers were completely gone and he hated it. If there was anyway to get them back only the deveta or perhaps Khala would knows about it however it seemed the woman has something else in mind but how could she do something like this. The dark side within him knew better this was one of Khala's tricks perhaps she'll drag him into madness even more but that wasn't part of his agenda because their plans were too important.
The only reason Engra could think that Eric would be dealing with the deveta's heart like this was for once the mad demon was thinking about his family anyone of these Asthavons could come after her. So the mad demon thought why not join up with them and see what new stuff they have in store for the demon overlord but that wasn't the only thing. For too long, Eric Zarathos became the mad one after a shitload of horrible incidents that happen to him and still the mad demon lost something during the suguiran battle. After being revived; Eric came to an deadly conclusion that the mad demon must die and for him to regain any source of his powers then the demon will have to help the Asthavons again. However; Eric decided to also deal with Khala yet he'll still help Mana with whatever could the deveta grant him what he wants for her to remove the mad one within him and to become a demon of hell. He was still wondering what Khalaism was all about however it would seemed the deveta's heart has created a religion for herself and her Astavons family and other people were coming into the fold. Engra was having his doubts the mad berserker knew his partner had to do something the many hardships and battles that the mad one had lost. Something needed to change because if this continues and the mad demon will die this and remain dead this might be his only chance or face the word known too well which is defeat. But this when it got weird it seemed that he'll need to drink some blood maybe something will happen within his mind but the mad demon was fill up with madness still the mad one will need to prepare. Khalaism??? What was it anyway??? One of his demon friends told him that two of the strongest Asthavons joined the religion so this sounded serious but if anything happens to his mind, Engra will help heal anything damaging enough to hurt his mind.
This wasn't what the mad demon was expecting but the mad demon drank some of the blood feeling a little weird but it was very strange the mad one didn't feel any different. But the mad one drank the blood but who knows but Khala knows what will happen to him in the end but after some great consideration the mad demon wanted her help and if joining her religion will help him. "Please Khala, I know I not your favorite demons but I've died twice and really the madness within me will just take me to failure after failure while being this mad demon. I've come to a conclusion....I don't want to be the mad one anymore and become something greater then a mad demon when I fought that rakshasa demon. I'd sensed a lot of power within him. Help me become a rakshasa demon empress and I will help your religion and it laws & rules. Please help me and I'll serve you and Khalaism well......I know I can be worthy I've helped in the past in the Golden Coast. I will follow you" He said.
A single gulp of her blood was all that The Goddess of Demon Kind desired from her child. With it, a sense of empowerment, enlightenment and purpose would fill his being. The Madness would ease, the fury would subside and the wholesome feeling of Khalaism would ease into his being to provide him serenity, tranquility and unity with his fellow demons and Khalaist. In this way would the symbol of Khalaism appear on his back in a tribal tatto. Nine tendrils attached to an open eye would represent their nine beliefs and nine sins; embarking the nine pathways of power into his being and birthing another new born Khalaist into their ranks.
Indeed, it would be a glorious and transforming day for Eric Zarathos. So, Khala would once again turn around to meet The Mad One's gaze as he started venturing further upstream towards the essence of divinity. Hate him? Never. The Mother of Demon Kind could not stand to loathe her children. That would be against her principles to turn away her children. For, more than anything else, Khalaism was a means to clense themselves of those taints their bodies suffered in the material world. The further ones spirit struggled, the greater their afterlife would become in the NIrvana of Hell.
Hence, for Eric, his piece of nirvana would be truly great; befitting a warrior of Valhalla itself in terms of comparison. And if it was power his life sought, then it would be power his desire would get. Within that seal would be a small portion of her divine blessing bestowed upon him. With this extract implanted within him, Eric Zarathos would indeed be able to transcend into the depths of Hell Demons if he so wished. However, it was not without cost.
"I can transform you into a Rakshasa if you so desire, but you may lose your current demonic powers. I cannot fully promise changes that will alter your very essence won't occur, so you must accept that risk and hope for the best, my child."
Having spoken those grim and ominous words, The Godling would then turn to the back of Eric Zarathos and place her hand on his bare skin. With one final sigh, she'd assure that this was the path he wanted to travel upon.
"Are you sure this is what you desire, young one? Power is a tool, but the tool will not unlock any doors if you do not acknowledge how to properly use to form your wishes. Adding more power to that will only produce the same results that you've suffered time and again, my child."
With but a tilt of her head, a curious expression oozed onto to the face of Khala and she pondered just what he planned to do with this blessing. Would he use it for destruction? To further his own goals? To bring happiness upon himself? Just what was his heart searching for? That was a question she must investigate further.
"And do you honestly think it will bring you satisfaction? As you know, I am one of the closet things to a god we have in this universe. And, from my throne, I can say that having all the power in the world won't change things unless your spirit is able to make that jump as well, my child. It will only bring you further ruin and despair until it withers away at your senses, body and eventually your whole soul. Stuck in a world of madness, your sense of self will be shattered and you may never find yourself whole again without the hand of a miracle. Please, heed my caution, child."
Giving off a gentle and soft sigh following her stern speech, The Godling would then rest her head on the shoulder of Eric Zarathos and look him square in the face as she lounged upon his body:
"So....why do you persist, Mad One?"

"Why do I persist??? Good Question.....I was a threat to your clan decades ago because I believed in something to unite demons finding a certain friendship among the other races. Then the madness came into my heart my reasons for leaving Shadowfall was simple things could have been accomplish while under Mana's care and I proved my strength was powerful. Time and time again I felt the embrace of death's grip widening as the reach my failures leading to my death. But I didn't do it would lead me to such pain but I dealt with it and moved on with my life. I didn't know who I could trust but still after my revival you and the rest of Asthavon clan are the only people I can trust." He said.
Eric Zarathos wanted this so called losing streak to end and if that meant giving up what it means to be a mad demon to become something better and help the Asthavon clan. Then so be it the mad demon was tired of all the failures but their was a risk of losing his powers that he had now but if the deveta's heart could help him reach a higher plateau then he'll gladly accept her terms. He wanted to become feared and within his last fight against a rakshasa it was a foolish to think a mad demon could actually fight and defeat a rakshasa demon. The mad one never felt the powers of hell like that and truthfully the mad demon wanted the power of the rakshasa for himself. He didn't care what would happen to him in the end but there were reasons why the mad demon wanted this was to be stronger than he ever was and to protect those close to him.
This was a turning point and Khala Asthavon was going him the chance to become a demon of hell instead of a mad demon because the mad one seen many failures. He was willing to risk to lose all his mad demonic powers to become a Rakshasa demon and the deveta's heart was explaining everything to him. To give up being a mad demon and everything of his fallen clan stood for but the mad demon was thinking about his past as the legendary demon hero. But the mad demon had many reasons that he wanted to turn into a rakshasa demon but the mad demon wanted to find where his wife was hiding. Because the demon's energy signature was detecting her as alive their was no way because that bastard Cain Iramasha killed her and there was blood everywhere. If Miyuki was alive then maybe the mad demon could restore his demon family but Kristen was making a demon life on her own which he was proud of her. But something was bothering him after all the demon rumors, Eric wanted to know the truth for his wife that she might be an Asthavon from that clan it would explain a lot with some secrets. The mad demon wanted to know the truth if Miyuki was an Asthavon then it would close the door to many skeletons within his dark closet but he'll need to find her first. But now he had to think about Khala's offer to become a rakshasa demon which meant to throw away the mad demon within him forever could he do it. The mad demon had made his decision and the dark side was thinking about this because if the mad demon does this then he'll won't be a ziamichi anymore. Engra was thinking what would happen to Kyokotsu and his arrancar because their were the only reason the mad one was bonded to the arrancar powers and also having access the ressureccion powers too. The dark berserker didn't like the idea but this was the mad demon's decision but all good things must come to an end reflecting on the past this had to be done. Engra nodded and just waited to see what would happen to the mad demon because whatever happens the dark berserker would forever be a part the mad demon whatever he does it was written and so it shall be. The dark berserker rested peacefully within the mad demon's mind waiting for the change to happen as the dark berserker started a slow meditation hoping he won't get damaged in the process..
The mad demon bowed to the deveta's heart accepting her terms waiting for great empress to change him into a rakshasa demon but then the mad one thought of something. "I accept your offer and await the power of the rakshasa my empress but I do believe a warning should be given. My clone who is part Asthavon and part of what I used to be could pose a threat but I felt it though my blood and I know Mana or her dark side brought him out during our great battle. My empress, I don't care what happens to Mana but I do respect her and her clan. If you wish for me to be your enforcer then I will do everything in my power to ensure the safety to you and who else you want me to protect. With that said, I am ready my empress.....Remove the madness within and grant me the power of the rakshasa" He said.
There seemed to be a great amount of anguish, grief and determination given in spite of The Mad One's goals throughout his life. In spite of most of the hardships given to the demon, he seemed to eternally propel himself against the current of defeat and press on no matter what came his way. Even to a Goddess, this was something which was quite noble in her mind and a sentiment she could sympathize with. After all, it took a strong and bold spirit to maintain their presence against the current of dismay, death and negativity which otherwise plagued the road Eric Zarathos walked.
Thus, for these reasons is why Khala always seemed to have a soft spot for this demonic child of hers. And as he proceeded to speak further along in his dialogue, the hints of Khalaism flowing through his veins started to become more apparent to The Divine Creator. His desire to unite demons and all other races were similar to the preaching's foretold in the religion of Khalaism. For, in the after life of their nirvana, most other races would be unified under their own eternal utopia. Free to live their infinite life however they so chose to live it in the deepest pits of the final layer of hell.
Now, having heard enough, The Demoness moved her right index finger across his chest and stopped right where his heart should be. It is then there that Khala's palm rested on it and her face began to become buried against his neck. After inhaling his essence and having time to think up a response, the words of The Godling started to ooze off in an atmosphere of relaxation and placidity:
"You've really gone through quite the misfortune to get here, haven't you? I've seen your progression and I'm sorry it has come to this, my child. Rest assured, however, you can indeed trust me if no one else. I will take you into my home and give you a place to call your own. I will absolve the sorrow from your heart and replace it with utter fulfillment. That is my promise to you, Eric Zarathos."
With a soft smile across her face did she otherwise seal the deal and give him that oh-so-needed affirmation that things would get better after this. However, there was something a bit more important than the kinship itself. It was a sense of belief that he had to give his sense of self up in order to reach this plateau. That -- was incorrect. Khala never forcefully decided to alter and morph the essence of a person unless they truly desired that. Even if he turned to Khalaism as a whole, Eric could remain just who he was as long as he followed their commandments and avoided the nine sins.
"But, more importantly, my child, you needn't give the core aspects of whom you are to me. All I ask for is your dedication to our kinship, adherence to our rules and loyalty to our cause. I wouldn't dare dream of taking the basis of who you are away unless you so wished for that."
Those words came off as understanding, composed and tranquil as her silky-soft skin brushed against his face in the form of a gentle caressing of his cheeks. But, alas, it seemed that the male wanted to be utterly and totally consumed by the light of hell and become one of its champions. Therefore, The Demonic Creator would aide by the wishes of her follower and allot him this ambition.
"Then, if you so will it, I shall fulfill it. The choice has been given to you and I will bring you to a new level of gratification and evolution. Come, my child, I will turn you into a spawn of hell so that you may achieve that what your heart seeks."
Soon, The Deitic Figure would hover away from Eric's back and begin guiding the waters of her tiny slither of paradise around the male's body. These were sacred fluids designed to otherwise induce a satanic baptism and transform the likes of Khalaist into Danava's, Hell Demon's and other types of subset demon classes. For, under the control of the demonic creator did she otherwise have the ability to convert and transform her kin into whatever it is they so craved for. To lack that ability would otherwise force her to step down from the position as The Heart of The Demon God.
Hence, at this point, Eric Zarathos may find himself totally and utterly under the submission of the demonic godlings influence. Each and every tendon of his muscle would be contorting, twisting and transforming into something more than just a regular demon. He was evolving, ascending and morphing into that of a Rakshasa. This process, under the guise of Khala, would also be rather painless and smooth. While many other conversion methods may have been unstable and chaotic, the inventor of the demon race knew the mechanics and inner workings of her creatures to a fine T. Thus, she could greatly reduce the chance of any instabilities to roughly 00000000.1% chance.
Once a full minute had passed from being submerged from these waters, the transformation process could indeed become complete and Eric would swim back to the surface as a purely new being. The toxins of his old life would be absolved and he'd purified into that of Hades glorious champions. Ergo, in light of that, Khala would then give him authorization over his own layer of hell and clear the way for his path to enlightenment:
"Eric Zarathos, by the powers vested in me, I shall grant ye' dominion over the three hundredth layer of Hell and grant you privilege as its overseer. And, in this same line of breath, I would like to also welcome you to Khalaism and applaud you for taking the first step to becoming a Khalaist, my newborn child."
And in those stern, but serene words did Khala otherwise finish her ceremony and hopefully renewed the life of The Mad One for the better. All that was left for him to do was arise out of the water to otherwise inspect the results of his conversion.

To become something else this was what he wanted there is no turning back on this and also to become a member of Khalaism whatever that is the demon accepted. All because the demon hated losing every damn time the mad demon would find defeat when he tried conquering or destroying a person, place or even people this needed to stop and now. The true reason why the mad demon left Shadowfall was Mana goals were unjust at the time and then the mad demon would search for power on his own and for a while his way of ethics seem pretty good. What he didn't realize? It would slowly come crashing down the mad demon was the legendary demon hero and what he forgot was for every villain that rises a hero would stop him; Eric didn't realized this before. The logic from his former past when he could have use it wisely well it was too late now the mad demon was about to embark on a new quest for revenge and the heart of deveta was giving him a major tool.
But that wasn't all; Khala wanted to become a new member of her group whatever happens to him in the end; Eric will just have to deal with and accept the rules of what this groups had for him. He wanted to become a strong hell demon and Khala was offering him this chance something that won't come to any demon at all but hopefully she said she might be the only one that he can trust. Looking back on his life hopefully none of his precious memories will be destroyed as the mad demon was ready to become a rakshasa demon awaiting for Khala's orders and to accept the great honor. The orders were given as the mad demon and deveta's heart lifted away to some sort of pool then the mad demon knew what was going on here something like a demonic baptism this might change him real good. Khala instructed him to begin as the mad demon enters the waters something was happening it didn't fully happening but his body was changing and then the mad demon could feel it shredding at him. The very thing that was responsible of all the madness within his heart was being taken the very thing that allow to evolve to the next level along with the demon felt a lot better the moment it was gone. For the first time; Eric could think more clearly than he did before this was a major improvement to no longer get angry at anyone and everywhere maybe some long awaited healing can start. But by doing this Eric Zarathos needed to cease to exist and start the slate clean but the former mad demon noticed something all of his powers going away yet the demon thought this was the right thing to do. Eric started felt the last power of madness finally being stripped from him and then the demon was clean from madness all together but the guy realized now the mad demon was finally dead.
Now the demon felt the energies enter his body making the demon stronger but that wasn't the thing that shocked him the most his skin and body was completely changing. His hair wasn't white anymore the man had hair and it was long but cool looking and the demon like it a lot mostly the demon was regaining his muscle build nothing like his mad demon build but it will do. Everything was changing the only thing that the demon was thinking could the new rakshasa demon put all of his trust into Khala Asthavon but she said it first maybe she was right trusting her and following her orders. This maybe the only way to go hopefully Khalaism won't destroy him in mind and soul then finally the demon was completely stripped of madness and changed into a rakshasa demon of hell. The former mad demon looked like a true grim reaper; Eric couldn't believe it the heart of deveta kept true to her word the guy was a changed demon not only that the rakshasa demon could feel his hell beast partner. This was a good feeling the mad demon was no more.....
Emerging from the demon baptism; Eric accepted Khalaism but one more thing needed to be done everything aside the rakshasa demon will help the Asthavon family. Not only that; He'll follow the rules of Khala's religion to complete this he'll need to give Khala something more. "I'm the mad demon no more and Eric Zarathos the great mad one cease to exist from my body now and forever burns from his dark flesh. To a become a demon of hell; I take the name Zaine Kil'jaeden but in order to be a great member to your religion Khala Asthavon. Please accept my membership, my loyalty and servitude to the Asthavon family. From now on whenever you need empress please call me Zaine Asthavon, I pledge myself to your teachings to the deveta himself and to Khalaism. Please forgive my past as Kade Hiroshima the heroic demon..I was troubled. Let Khalaism cleanse me from that let me help my family, my group members of Khalaism, defeat my rivals and destroy my......ahem forgive me empress....my and your enemies. Lady Khala........" Zaine said
If he should so give himself to her, as to would she give herself to him. That which was taken would be returned in full. These words described the simplified way in which The Creator of Khalaism operated to those who turned their souls to her. Thus, the after life for the reborn Eric Zarathos was going to go through wonderful transformations and blossom into one befitting Mangala, The Hindu God of War. That was one thing Khala was going to ensure to the most of her eternal being. Such a beautiful sacrifice could not go ignored and left unrewarded in her eyes.
When the male arose from the murky waters once more, The Goddess of Demons embraced him in a hug and stared up at the newly made creation with the utmost of admiration. More than anything else, all the pale deity yearned for was the utmost of loyalty upon her subjects. If they could promise that, then she could give them the world and anything else their hearts craved. For infinity and eternity themselves were but a grasp away from the hand of the divine creator. And from the river of boundless continuity would her followers drink its nourishing blood and feed upon it forever more. Drinking, drinking and drinking until they reach a state of unending, pristine and invigorating bliss. That was the simple desire this deity desired for those who partook in Khalaism's practices and stayed true to its calling.
With her essence oozing and churning within The Enlightened One's embodiment, The Maker of Demons could indeed trust Zaine and she was quite grateful for the pact made between them. All she aimed to do was bring those souls who were lost in this accursed world closer to unity, fulfillment and evolve these sentiments into complete and utter salvation from anguish should their eternal spirit choose such a path. So the emptiness that filled the newborn Hell Demon would soon be filled with warmth, wholeness and connection to his brethren within Khalaism. As, above all else, he'd never have to endure these trials and hardships on his own ever again. There would be many others in which he could distribute and share his challenges, victories, defeats and hardships with.
Hence, as Zaine began speaking words which denounced his former self and praised his new existence, Khala only shook her head and placed her index finger upon his lips. All of those vivid feelings could be induced and transferred into The Godling's heart and mind through emotional telepathy. The vapors of The Hell Demon's spirit infused into hers and intermixed into a cycle of understanding, empathy and love. Ergo, in return, could Zaine then feel the acceptance within Khala's heart and her admission into Khalaism for his spirit. She'd absolve the instabilities of the demon he once was, contain it within her garden of beginnings and watch over the former reflection of Eric as if it were her own child. Ensuring, and doing her best, to give him an exquisite after life and maintain his lifeblood within this reality so that he may find solace in his new found state of being.
"You needn't aid me, Deveta or anyone else. All you must do is accept our beliefs into your heart and find what makes your spirit flourish in this world of limitations and heartache. And having seen your resolve to such a cause, your trust has been manifested in my eyes and I can see you'll make a fine pupil of our teachings. So, do not worry, I will exonerate both you and Eric from such blame. All I need is your loyalty and trust within me. That is all I ever wanted from anyone."
The voice of Khala was as gentle as a spring breeze when addressing her new follower. Her eyes softened and the atmosphere around them chilled as she smiled back at Zaine. There was a sense of placidity and calmness being instilled within the area from this invocation of serene emotion. And -- rightfully so. It required a tame and harmonious mind to otherwise maintain dominance over the chaotic embers of Eric Zarathos's remains. These cinders of his remaining manifestation formed into a shadow sphere with blood red streaks of energy spiraling around it.
At last -- his travels would come to an end.
That was a sombering thought which trickled down the mind of Khala and reflected itself in a cold wind felt throughout the boundless space around them. If his finale should come by her own hands -- so be it.In the grip of The Demonic Goddess would he otherwise be suffused into her kingdom of perceptual happiness.Whatever his spirit yearned for? It's desired would be fulfilled as The Godling departed that which was formerly Eric into the depths of NIrvana. It is there he would find a hereafter that suited one of the chambers of Valhalla itself. That would be his reward for enduring such a life of hardship, turmoil and torture.
Thus, the hazy colors of The Mad One's essence infused into untold depths of Khala's River of Beginnings in order to find his place in her afterlife. After the shades of crimson and onyx faded away, the emerald eyes of The Godling stared back into Zaine and smiled.
"Do you feel that? He is free. That is what awaits all those who follow me. At the end of your life travels, you will be rewarded in absolute beauty and fulfillment. Follow me and I will assure you that every physical, mental, emotional and spiritual need you may have, or could ever have, will be satisfied."
And with that, Khala would walk pass Zaine with both of her arms held behind her back; humming a soft, but melancholic hum.
"I have nothing else I can really depart onto you. So, what you do with this gift...is yours to choose. Just ensure it is not a choice you'd so easily regret or so hastily make."
