Artist: Undertale OST - Song: Snowy - Word Count: 228

The once usually busy Iramasha soon found themselves with too much free time. A large space in their schedule with nothing to do within it, no training, no fighting, no missions... Just a break in work. Normally, the young soul would fill up that space, but the thought of trying something new tugged at the back of their mind... That tugging soon turned into yanking as the child of Azure found them self wandering about the edge of Karakura.

Their gender seemed to be female this time, long flowing hair falling down to her mid-section as a black dress covered their body. Falling down to her knees as frills adorned the edges of the fabric, white stocking covering her legs with dress shoes on her feet. Her arms were completely bare, with her hands starting to fiddle with a device in her hand. She had just spent some of her money on a set of new earbuds and actually wanted to try them out. Earbuds were soon plugged into her phone as one ear was left open so she could still hear around her. Music blaring from the device loud enough that people nearby could hear. It seemed to be... Classical. Something rather nerdy for someone like herself, but she didn't seem to mind all too much.

This was how they would be spending their day, just walking around and generally relaxing, exercising a little bit, and 'exploring'. Shoes clicking against the hard pavement of the sidewalk as she walked without a care in the world, eyes staring forwards with one hand grasping her phone within her pocket now. The other hand swinging on the side with each step, generally having fun for once without the looming threat of death.

Game: BattleBlock Theater - Song: Main Menu (Piano Cover) - Word Count: 580

Lydia felt the wind flowing in her hair as her newly replaced GHOST-CV flew her high over the Karakura skies. Today she was on a mission. Honestly, she couldn't say what the mission was, but she was on a fucking mission, okay?! Her assault helicopter flew gently without a care in the world. It was nice, flying like this. In fact, the newer GHOSTs always flew so smooth and swift. It almost felt like nothing could go-- wait isn't that a jynx?

Just then, a pigeon thought it would be a great idea to get frisky with her propellers, sending her on a rapid smoky descent toward the ground. Luckily for her, there were no buildings in the immediate area, but rather a single person in an unoccupied stretch of land just on the edge of Karakura. On a day like this, she might have been patrolling for the Yayjuu, but today was her break! A day she got to take a load off from the world around and just relax. Until it all came crashing down. Literally. And she was also literally going straight for the person below her. "Look out below! I'm gonna crash into you if you don't move!" Lydia called out to the girl below. As she neared, she sensed her as a fellow shifter. Just her luck. After meeting a pervert like Nix, she was almost worried to strike up a conversation with her and- wait a minute, she was still falling! Now was no time to worry about such things! Lydia clutched the joystick that controlled the small helicopter and leaned it hard out of the way, noticing last minute that the girl below had headphones in. After ensuring that it would crash in a safe place, Lydia dove off of it. But now there was a new problem. She had no parachute! WHY THE HELL WAS SHE FLYING A FUCKING HELICOPTER WITH NO PARACHUTE?! She had no choice now. In order to land safely, there needed to be something to absorb the shock... Something squishy... something with stopping power... Well, fuck it. She would die any other way.

Aiming her body at the person below, she apologized repeatedly as she fell quickly toward her. The girl had no way of hearing these apologies, and likely wouldn't even notice that there was a teenage girl falling straight for her, and Lydia was all the more grateful for it. It meant she was less likely to move!

If the girl didn't notice in time, she would smack her straight in the face at roughly 20 miles per hour, effectively fast enough to knock the two of them over and send them tumbling for a bit, but still nonlethal. If the girl did notice, and moved out of the way, Lydia would slam her bionic arm into the ground, hoping her nanites would absorb the shock from landing.

Either way, standing up, Lydia would dust herself off and turn toward the girl before her. Well.. boy? Lydia had a difficult time telling the sexes of shifters like Eva. Regardless of this predicament, she extended a hand in greeting. "Hey, sorry about that. I don't always descend from the heavens to greet people... Name's Lydia, by the way! What's you--" in the distance the sound of an explosion could be heard. Likely her GHOST. "Uhh... What's yours?" She questioned, half chuckling nervously. That was the third one this week... Of course, as usual, that was coming out of her paycheck.

Artist: Undertale OST - Song: Snowy - Word Count: 480

Ash seemed to be almost completely and utterly clueless as to what was happening around her. The sounds of machinery high above mainly ignored as she trekked on forwards without a care in the world. Fingers even pressing a button on her phone to make her music louder. This was her day off now, and with a day off, one should relax. What harm could ever possibly arise from blocking out the world around her? The answer to that soon began to show itself to the unlucky individual.

Step after step was taken forwards, head bobbing to the beat, and soon, that beat would be her getting 'beaten' to the ground face first by an odd individual. Ash was naturally caught off guard and simply knew of no way to defend herself. The body of the girl that just fell out of the sky slamming into her at a high speed, both of them slamming hard against the ground as the Iramasha yelped rather loudly in both pain and surprise. The one earbud that blocked out half of her hearing was knocked out, along with her phone being flicked away by accident from the impact. Arms splayed against the ground as she needed a few moments to collect herself. The pain wasn't nice of course, and neither was the person on top of them, eyes widened as Ash seemed mainly confused. Lydia's landing at the very least was very soft, Ash feeling almost too soft to even be considered a fighter.

Just as quickly as the person appeared, they were standing up and already starting to speak. Ash was shell-shocked by this, eyes hinting that she was still a bit dazed as the girl shakily stood up herself. Wobbling a bit before finally steadying herself, eyes staring forwards to the extended hand. This all seemed oh so confusing to her with the sudden appearance- and the sudden explosion in the distance as well. Her own hand was extended to shake Lydia's, grip soft and gentle as a small small smile formed upon her lips. She had to look presentable, and willing to speak to this new stranger that she was rather rudely introduced too by a freak accident.

"O-Oh, I'm Ash! Ash Iramasha! I-It's nice to meet you Lydia-" The girl's words were cut short by a few things... One was the speak of being the third one this week... The second being the fact that she said she descended from the heavens. "Wait, you don't actually come from Heaven, do you? I'm like an Iramasha! I'm technically part angel! I could be your long lost sister or something!" The thought was silly, but the goofy smile on Ash's lips showed not only that she liked goofy situations, but also that she forgave Lydia for barreling into her in the middle of nowhere with a random flying vehicle that just exploded in the distance.

Game: Plants Vs. Zombies 2 - Song: Brainiac Maniac (6 worlds mashup!) - Word Count: 487

Lydia shook the girl's hand firmly, as was her custom. "Ash huh?" She said quite calmly, given the situation. "What a unique name! Y'know my name is rather common, it seems."

"Wait, you don't actually come from Heaven, do you? I'm like an Iramasha! I'm technically part angel! I could be your long lost sister or something!" Ash said, smiling a really weird and kinda creepy smile. Lydia couldn't help but laugh at her attempt at a joke. It wasn't everyday you crash into someone while falling without a parachute and immediately start crackin' the jokes out! Lydia gestured for her to follow as she walked back in the direction of downtown Karakura. "Nah, you strike me more as an angel yourself! I'd have died if not for your squishy face! Maybe we are sisters!" Lydia said grinning widely as she reached out her hands in an attempt to stretch the shifter's cheeks with her fingers. Of course, getting back into town would take quite a while, so it couldn't hurt just to talk! Relax finally, as was her intent for the day. Nothing ELSE could possibly go wrong-- wait... She left her bag in that GHOST!

All her cards, identification, money from her most recent check, all gone! Up in flames! And worst of all? Her stamp collection was in there! Lydia suddenly dropped to her knees in despair. "Ash... my stamps... MY STAMPS ARE ALL GOOOOOONE! I had them in my bag but I jumped out and forgot my bag and now they're all goooooone!" She half sobbed, genuine tears coming to her eyes. She had spent the last few months collecting them to show to Nix when he returned from his business trip, but of course, they all had to burn up in the fire... Checking her pockets, she could see that her wallet (containing all her identification, etc.) was safely in her hands, but the gaping abyss where her beloved stamps should be was too much to bear! Lydia stood slowly, tears still in the corners of her eyes. She had to move on... Live her life without them... BUT LIFE WAS TOO CRUEL TO LEAVE HER WITHOUT HER BELOVED STAMPS! She missed the little one that looked like a doggy, and the one of a giraffe, and the one of a toaster oven, cause why the fuck not? "Well... Anyway... What are you doing all the way out here in the middle of nowhere?" She asked, standing herself up once more.

Then, before waiting on her answer, she quickly interjected. "Actually, in the words of a close friend of mine, let's play the question and answer game! Each of us asks 3 questions about the other, and we have to answer em! You start us off!" Despite how absolutely lame of a game it was to play, it actually managed to get the job done... most of the time. Sometimes, Lydia met some really... strange people.

Song: A Very Small Wish- By: Kingdom Hearts OST- Word Count: 487

Artist: Undertale OST - Song: Snowy - Word Count: 449

The Iramasha soon found themselves beckoned to follow behind their new friend. Or at least, she hoped that they could become friends. Step after step taken as the two newly met acquaintances were already mid-conversation. Something that would help in relaxing and having a day off. This was an odd way to meet someone and already kick off with, but she's had more awkward situations thrust upon her before. Soon enough, she found her cheeks starting to redden at the compliment from Lydia. Ash? And Angel? The thought left her smiling like a goofball, quickly picking up her pace as to not get lost behind the rather outgoing individual. "I'm glad my squishy face helped! It's always nice to help out a 'sister'!" A giggle escaping past her lips from the silly thoughts, but at least she was having fun.

Soon, this so called 'long lost sister' was on the ground. Ash's eyes immediately widened, expecting something horrible to have happened, leading to the girl kneeling down besides her. Hand on one shoulder and trying to see what was wrong... Before that worry turned into confusion. Stamps... Was she really this distraught over a collection of stamps? In the Iramasha's defense, she didn't quite know how large Lydia's collection was, but at the very least, she could show some sympathy. Hand gently patting her back as she spoke in a soft voice. "Hey, this just means you could start it up once more, back from square one! The fun of collecting all of those stamps are just a step away again!" It was a fairly poor attempt at getting her better, considering that Lydia was soon standing and walking away again as if nothing truly bad had happened. Ash found herself quickly waddling over behind her as to not get left behind.

A question was asked, and before an answer was given, a suggestion popped up. The idea of a fun game to occupy their time sounded rather entertaining for the Iramasha, so she found herself quickly nodding in agreement. "Oh, oh! That sounds fun! First question! What's your favori-". Before the girl could even finish, she saw someone fall over in the corner of her eyes. A look of tension and worry overcame Ash's face as the girl found herself rushing over to Yuel. "Oh my gosh are you okay?!" Usually, seeing someone collapse was a sign of them not being okay, but if they could speak, they were doing better then those who collapsed on the battlefield were. Arms reaching over to try and gently lift her up so her entire body wasn't on the floor, eyes glancing from her to Lydia to see if she could do anything.

Artist: Virtual Riot - Song: Fuck Gravity (Lydia's Theme) - Word Count: 490 - I guess-- GG 10/10 scrub

Though Ash had tried her best, there was no consoling Lydia. Over the past 2 months she had essentially hoarded stamps. Tons of them. "11,457 stamps, Ash. I collected nearly 12,000 stamps! I'm not starting over..." Lydia muttered under her breath, blushing as she noticed that she had managed to collect that many stamps.. It was all Nix's fault, somehow! For making her miss him! Although despair quickly turned to worry as a passerby who she supposed understood how tragic the loss of her stamps was fell over onto the ground out of what was obviously pure sheer empathy. But wait... there was no way she could hear from that distance! Following Ash over to the girl, Lydia's combat medicine training quickly kicked in. The girl appeared to be suffering from a mixture of heatstroke, exhaustion, and acute starvation, judging by her temperature, and the fact that she just, y'know, flopped outta nowhere.

Lydia reached into her pockets and pulled out a small crumpled package containing two granola bars. As much as it pained Lydia to miss a meal, and potentially mess up her diet, she waved them over the girl's face. "Worry not, Ash! It looks like she's just hungry!" Lydia said, smiling as she looked back up to the Iramasha. Putting the granola bars back into her pockets, she looked back at Ash again, this time with a serious expression. "We need to get her in the shade, so she can eat these granola bars! You grab her arms!" said Lydia, reaching to grab Yuel's legs so that she and Ash could carry her to a nearby tree.

Provided they reached the tree, Lydia would prop their newfound fading friend up against the bark, and open the granola bars. As she was about to give both of them to the girl she paused. Breaking one in half, she would hold it out in the direction of Ash, so that they could at least get some energy in. Wouldn't wanna faint halfway there, like this stranger had!

Then, holding the unbroken one out toward the stranger, Lydia would quite gently press it to Yuel's lips, in case by now she was still unconscious. If by now the girl was not eating it by herself, Lydia would attempt to push the bar into her mouth, and force her to chew it as she spoke to Ash.

"Now then, I have a loooot of favorites... Which one did you want to know about?" She said, nearly out of breath. Despite this, she felt carefree. She was in fact enjoying the day much more than she initially thought she would, what with her GHOST crashing and her stamps burning. It was almost as if it was fate for her to have met this strange bunch.

Lydia nibbled on her granola bar as she stared off into the distance. "Hey Ash..." she started, seemingly in her own world as she turned to face the Iramasha. "Do you believe in fate?" She asked, a gust of wind quite coincidentally blowing through the air just at the end of her sentence.

Song: Hills n' Spills- By: Sound Shapes - Word Count: 356

Artist: Undertale OST - Song: Snowy - Word Count: 505

Ash found herself now worrying over both Yuel and now how long that granola bar was stuffed into Lydia's pocket. The answer they got from this odd being didn't quite help all too much with how safe this situation was so far... At the very least, she seemed much more prepared for a situation such as this when compared to the fairly frazzled Iramasha as the both of them were carrying Yuel into someplace more acceptable than the side of the street. The girl kept her hold on Yuel gentle while Lydia did her thing... Eyes watching a smooshed granola bar pressed against the other's lips only to be met with resistance.

The girl's eyes continued to dart between the two people she was just met with, wondering how a walk turned into something stressful such as this in the span of a few minutes. The stress was receding away as Yuel seemed to finally eat, curling up into a ball and starting to show signs of recovery. A moment of reprieve was now present, with Ash trying to gently shift herself so she was sitting without awakening the now sleeping person. Eyes darted up to Lydia once again to finally notice that a piece of another bar was offered, her head nodding as it was accepted and quickly munched on. Food was important, especially considering she hadn't eaten in a while... Though not as long as the odd stranger might have went without food.

Now came actually saying her question instead of being cut off. Smile visible as she spoke once again. "Oh, favorite color was what I was gonna ask! They say that you can find out a lot about a person from their favorite color!" A bit of a nerdy thing to say, but that was what Ash was interested in from time to time. It reminded her quite a bit about other things, such as the few odd people she's met within the Vanguard and how the usually lighter colors meant they were happy and loved fun.. And darker colors like a certain large brute she was forced to do missions with led to a more serious tone.

Before the Iramasha heard a response to her question, she was put into a position to be the one answering. Fate? It was something she's thought of from time to time but never really though about. A few moments of silence was left at the time, wind blowing by before an answer was given. "I guess I do a little bit... But not to the point where everything you do is planned out. Sorta like uhm... How it can be fated that we both ended up here! But I don't think it's fated that we would meet just like this and start helping this girl. Maybe I believe more in coincidence? Yeah, I think that sort of works. I guess." A shrug given to her as she glanced back down to Yuel... Just what was she doing to end up in a position such as this?

Artist: Virtual Riot - Song: Fuck Gravity (Lydia's Theme) - Word Count: 487

Lydia watched calmly as Ash appeared to carefully choose her words. What was she talking about fate for?

Oh crap! Lydia had actually asked what she was thinking aloud! "Ahahaha..." She laughed nervously, her laugh trailing off slowly toward the end. It was one helluva coincedence that I landed on you, then.. cause otherwise I'd have died today! Lydia thought to herself as she looked down at the now sleeping Yuel. Of course, she wouldn't allow her to sleep the rest of the day away, though for the moment, she would answer Ash's question. "Well, never mind about that! Couldn't you tell? Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's... Orange! Yep, totally not green!" She would say with a kind of sing-song tune. She'd actually liked both colors, but because she was born with one naturally growing from her body, she decided she'd wear the other. Confidence had always been a problem for Lydia, but as of recent days, she'd been faring a lot better than before. The power of love-- a love that Lydia most assuredly d-d-didn't have... She blushed deeply, waving the lingering thoughts of a certain someone out of the air. She pointed a finger at the resting girl once she'd gathered herself.

"Now about sleeping beauty over here..." Lydia started, a michievous smile spreading on her face as she removed an entire surgical kit from seemingly nowhere. "Miss! Unless you want to wake up missing an arm, I recommend you wake up right now~!" She teased, turning her bionic arm into a bonesaw, and lowering it toward the girls arm, activating it in short bursts as she drew nearer. The bonesaw was dulled at the edges, in case she jumped up or something-- and of course she had no real intent to harm the stranger, but as far as the girls surrounding her go, this intent may be seen a bit differently.

"Ahahahahahaha!" Lydia laughed a psychotically as she activated and deactivated the bonesaw, waiting for the girl to wake. If she hadn't, Lydia would promptly put way her things, sit cross-legged across from Ash, and smile. "Well, time to get moving!" Lydia stood and began stretching. They would make it back to Karakura, even if they had to carry the girl all the way back.

As such, if this was still the case, Lydia would look back to Ash, and with another mischievous smile say "Looks like we're carrying her."

If this was not the case, and the sleepy-eyed girl woke to her psychotic rampage, Lydia would quickly revert her arm to it's normal state, and begin stuffing the other items back in their case, blushing furiously out of embarassment. "H-hi! I'm Lydia, this is my new friend Ash!" She'd stutter nervously, holding her hand out for the girl to shake.

Regardless of what happened, they would need to set sail for Karakura, as nightfall on the outskirts was no bueno. Seriously, she'd been out here one time past nightfall, almost died no joke.
