Space! We're in space! A moon base to be exact. How cool is that, for some broke highschool boy to actually be on an actual moon base, just right on the moon itself. It is fascinating, to be so far away from Earth and standing on a foreign land for the first time. What a blessing to really be on the moon. But his joy was soon shattered by the reality of why he was brought here; and that was to defend Vanguard's moon base that was under attack by a certain organization. While details are still unclear but he knows that it is by the name of Shadowfall? One of the unlucky candidates that volunteered himself to help out was Touma Yuudeshi, a normal highschool boy with no particular powers that can certainly call him 'powerful'. Not to mention about the benefits of really getting him to space, all he knows that it is under attack, and that Sector A was making plenty of destruction to really make his spine shiver. Whatever forces that may have been attacking that place makes him sweat, a whole lot.
Being a misfortunate boy Touma is, he doubts that he was going to get any luck to actually deal against someone weak and that is within his scale. For Touma, the only thing that he ever rely on in this situation when it comes to the fight of powers is his Imagine Breaker, the power that resides within his bare hands that has the ability to negate all kinds of supernatural powers. It may sound ridiculous but that is the truth, and for some reason, even if he does have other powers other than this misfortunate power of his, it would just negate the effects of any other power that he may have, making Touma truly powerless when it comes to combat and that very truth really hurt his feelings when a situation as dire as this came up especially in space.
Another thing that worries Touma for a bit, that if the moon base is destroyed, he wonders if he is going to be okay to be in the moon base without a space suit? What if he suffocated without any oxygen? What if he froze to death by the coldness of space? Well, as prepared as he is, for an unlucky man like Touma, it is going to be tough to defend this sector especially when there aren't others that arrived here yet.
He sighed. At this point, there is nothing to complain about since he is here to do one thing: To protect this place and see if he can negotiate with the person that might try to attack this place.

The Moon. Masakaki had never been there before throughout the span of his existence, and now that he thought about it, the pale demon had never really given the moon much thought. And then both those thing were changed in mere moments. One second the Mad Hatter had been enjoying himself as usual, taking a stroll throughout the human world, doing as he wished. Let it be said that the Grand Duke of the 4th Circle was quite a bit lax when it came to his duties. Then the next thing the demon knew the Royal whom had been apart of the fuss in Iceland was stirring the pot once more! And on the Moon no less! In that instant Masakaki knew one thing, he was going to the Moon! Thus with a flicker of motion from his finger a portal would swallow the demon whole as he utilized Kage Chōkyō-shi to hop, skip, and jump his way to the Moon.
Several minutes later, above the area known as Sector C, a myriad of colors would converge upon a single point. For a brief moment the whites, golds, pinks, and purples that had gathered would give off a brief light before forming into a small hole in the sky. Said hole was just large enough for a persons head to fit, evident by Masakaki's own promptly popping out before spinning and taking in everything around him. Coming to a halt Masakaki's gaze would land upon the buildings and inhabitants of the Vanguard base, meanwhile the sounds of battle and destruction from the other sectors reverberated throughout the area.
"Oh my, seems I've missed out on some fun!" Chuckling to himself Masakaki's head would begin rising from the Kage Chōkyō-shi he was current within, as it did so said portal would begin to increase in size, its form expanding in all directions until finally Masakaki could step through. "Ah so exciting. The Daughter of Mana sure knows how to liven things up!" The Mad Hatter would exclaim while soaking in the chaos and destruction being caused elsewhere. Then the laughter began, it had started quiet at first before growing into full on hysteria. The laughter of the pink haired demon would echo throughout Sector C before coming to a complete halt.
Standing in the sky above the sector Masakaki continued to gaze down below, his facial features locked in a large smile as the air currents swept past him, rustling his clothing and sending pink hair waving with the wind. It was high time the Grand Duke of the 4th Circle got into the action himself. Now was the time to unleash hell upon yet another Sector of the Vanguards base. And the demon was oh so pleased that he could do it himself. "Oh my, I suppose I should get started, shouldn't I?!" As if to answer his question a massive explosion sounded out from elsewhere in the base, giving the pale skinned demon all the answer he needed. With a nod to himself the Mad Hatter brought his right hand to his mouth, his left currently holding his usual cane, and bit into the flesh enough to draw blood.
Now holding him palm outward the demon began gathering the darkness from various sources around him, as well as gathering energy from Za Koa. Soon enough a ball of darkness, humming with power, had formed. "Let the games begin kiddies!" A dark laughter would follow Masakaki's statement as he unleashed the Black Inferno Blast towards the structures below. Immediately after releasing the first a second was formed and launched, and so on, until the demon had sent twenty different B.I.B's towards the structures and people below. The blasts descended with a completely random pattern, with no real target in mind, the only goal, destruction and chaos.
Continuing to stand in the sky above Sector C Masakaki would merely watch as his work began the spread of chaos within this sector. For now he'd see how the Vanguard reacted to this first assault upon a new sector. Till then he'd simply begin spreading his demonic essence through the area, tapping into the Influence of Za Koa, while at the same time delving into the Environmental Knowledge aspect of Za Koa in order to gain any and all information he could on his chosen field of combat.

Sorry for the delay, I shall be posting soon enough, I had to deal with IRL situations that have finally subsided enough for me to post once more. A post will be made either by tonight, or by tomorrow.

The Vanguard... honestly, at this point, she considered leaving the group. It didn't really interest her as much as it did before, and it seemed a bit too gungho in certain aspects. It did fight for good, but the good of who? Of the Earthen Realm, or of the Vanguard itself? Even with these thoughts circulating in her head, the idea of getting back at the Shadowfall was one that definitely excited her to the point of rushing -right- to the Moon Base to get her fill of action. So much time had been spent training and developing, so many days spent honing her skills. With even the parasite left behind from Kamui gone, she could -really- shine here, and that she planned on doing. She was sent to Sector C, one that had just given out a message of an attack just moments prior, to which Elysia quickly agreed to intercept and react too.
A quick leap into a singular portal made for her to go through lead to the woman being set -right- in the middle of so much destruction. This reminded of of a war far away, back in Iceland. So much destruction, so many lives being lost, though the only difference was that it was all being caused by one person, rather than an army. A man, no, a filthy, despicable demon was the source, way up in the sky and firing down blast after blast on people who might have just been here to simply live their lives normally. Fuck, some of these people worked with science and research, yet this -thing- was slaughtering everyone, even if they never wanted war in the first place. It was sickening, it was heart wrenching, it was-
Oh shit, something's heading right for her. Time to move.
A quick smashing of her fists together led to electricity to spark outwards in almost every direction. Her very being was being released, her soul flaring out brightly for everyone and anyone to see and know where she was. She didn't want to be sneaky and try to get the first blow, she wanted him to -know- that someone was gunning for not only him, but for every filthy soldier in the Shadowfall. Hell, the slave drivers back in the Pits weren't as bad as these people. With her energy being released, all she had to do was zoom forwards and start her assault. A quick kick off the ground already led to this woman almost disappearing, a bright flash of light emanating outwards as her entire visage changed. Her entire body shrunk down to the size of what most people new as fairies and already zoomed forwards in the blink of an eye, dashing to the left of the blast and continuing her dashes. At the end of ever short-range blink, her body reformed and simply turned into its small self again so she could do another blink forwards, 50 feet traveled each time.
"Go off back to your hellhole and die. No one here wanted to die, some of these people are even fucking innocents! Fuck if I care about your revenge over Iceland, stop being such annoying pricks and maybe you'll be left alone!"
She was heading straight for the Mad Hatter, moving quick enough to dodge the randomly fired blasts that were heading out to the buildings and people below. It took only a few moments for her to zip from the ground to right before the being himself, her entire body forming once more as she hovered in the air before him, all momentum lost as a fist already reared back to prepare for a strike. Elysia moved quick, and seemed to already be filling every bit of her being with as much potential and energy as she could. Without a moment's delay, her arm rocketed forwards as she aimed to land a nice, powerful punch right for the Mad Hatter's jaw. Despite her speed, the demon himself could probably out speed her, or even retaliate with the bit of delay she had to even wind up the attack. If it did hit, the blow would have more than a simple punch behind it. An outburst of spiritual energy would take place, manifesting as electricity as it exploded against the demon's jaw with the same force as a point-blank explosion. It might send him careening off in the distance if he didn't have anything to keep him stable in air, but most of this was simply if's, all based on if she could even get close enough to land the blow.
This is bad. As soon as a demon male appeared, he was cold-blooded enough to start raining down blasts down against the sector and not to mention, there are still people in here! Now, with the intervention of a woman that appeared out of nowhere as well and shone quite brightly to grab attention of the enemies, it is obvious that Touma can barely be any of a help especially when the combat is above the air. Without any ability to fly, even with the Moon's low gravity, moving is going to be hard for someone as inexperienced as himself.
There is too many blasts that fired down against the structure. From there, he knew that he couldn't protect everyone in the Sector C even if he wanted to because of how many that was summoned, an inevitable and bitter truth that Touma refused to accept. The first blast was heading to his direction and without any hesitation, his right hand reached out to receive the full brunt of the black-colored blast that he didn't know of. However, this doesn't matter! As soon as his right hand makes a direct contact with the blast, it wouldn't explode at all. Instead, it would simply disappear. Negated, destroyed, cancelled, you name it, it happened, all of that with just a single touch from his right hand and Touma was never injured at all after touching the blast. That is the power of Imagine Breaker, to negate the supernatural.
He was determined that he isn't going to let anyone die here, well, if he could. All he is able to do is to prevent as much injury and death as possible, and he sprinted after negating the first blast. With a speed that surpass even the athletes, his right hand reached out to the closest possible black-colored blast before it could explode into the building, as fast as he could, with a single touch, he attempts to negate it if he is able to make it in time.
At best, Touma would only able to negate a few blasts to shield a few civilians in the sector that are fired in a random pattern. There is no way of knowing where they would land, so for someone like Touma who can't move at high speeds like Shadin, he could only reach his right hand out and negate any blasts that are the nearest to him before landing, while the rest that are too far from his reach would be left to bomb down the rest of the place. As much as that hurts his conscience, even someone like himself is too weak to save the others. All he could hope is that all of them survived from this chaos.
Imagine Breaker also reacted, negating whatever that was around him and the atmosphere earlier ago. It was supernatural, however, Touma has no idea what it had negated since he couldn't see what was going on. It may have probably either be a large-scale explosion or other probable stuff that may have done. All he knew that it had negated a type of essence or supernatural energy on the air, but what was it?
Standing up from the midst of destruction, Touma looked up towards both the woman and the demon, both which are most likely battling in the skies. With the moon's gravity, he could probably push himself up there to join up but the fact that Imagine Breaker could only do nothing else but negate the supernatural, he felt like he has no power over this situation. Goddamnit, only if there was something that he could use to deal with the situation. Wait, there's a human girl, isn't it? While Touma may not be powerful himself, if she was willing to listen to him, he may be able to turn the tables around. Due to his misfortune, Touma had plenty of fighting experiences, so much that you could actually call him a tactician when it comes to situations like these, and all of that was thanks to his horrible, horrible luck.
"Why are you doing this!?"
A question that he wanted to ask out of the male that was causing the disaster. Shouting as loud as possible to grab his attention, Touma wanted to know the exact reason in why he was doing this. He didn't care if he was going to grab everyone else's attention in the vicinity.
He knows that he is not strong, but that is no longer an issue he has time to fret over. However, the only thing that Touma knew is that he would need the woman's help. Despite the fact that Imagine Breaker is nothing more but a power that negates the supernatural, it can come in handy. Powerless or not, he can't let anyone get hurt anymore!

What an enjoyable day this was already turning out to be! Screams of panic and terror echoed throughout Sector C as explosion after explosion resounded within the area. With each Black Inferno Blast that erupted upon impact the Mad Hatter let loose a loud WHOOO! of excitement while clapping, the sound of coins clinking together ringing out with each movement of the demons cane. Continuing to watch his first act Masakaki began soaking up the knowledge his spreading Za Koa Influence granted him, because of this the Mad Hatter discovered two things. The first being the immediate arrival of someone new via a portal. With an eager smile the pale demon watched as a female exited the portal, stepping directly into the path of one of his B.I.B's before a large burst of electrical energy would burst outwards from her position. Before the burst of electricity Masakaki was only able to spot the female form, and grey-white hair of his new foe before she seemed to vanish in a burst of light.
In the same moment this occurred Masakaki was granted further environmental knowledge as he felt both his own demonic essence, and the Za Koa he had begun spreading suddenly fade from a portion of the sector. Moments before that another arrival, Touma, had, unnoticed by Masakaki, somehow negated a B.I.B coming straight for him before doing the same to Masakaki's energy within the atmosphere. For the moment though Touma would remain an unknown entity to Masakaki whilst he was busy with Elysia whom was accelerating quickly in his direction. The demon watched patiently as the woman's form seemed to shrink in size before darting forwards almost like a lightning strike, before reappearing a short distance away. It was through this that the B.I.B coming her way was evade before she continued onward towards the Mad Hatter. As the girl sped towards him Masakaki was able to perfectly hear what she was saying over the sounds of explosions and screaming.
The demon's own response would be an amused laughter before his voice would boom out over the sounds of chaos and panic. "Revenge? You think I'm here for something so petty? HA! What a foolish notion my little friend." While speaking the Mad Hatter would watch Elysia continue her approach before appearing abruptly before him with an arm already cocked back ready to unload one hell of a punch upon his pale face. But before she could even throw her punch Masakaki's last words for the moment would reach her, "As for no-one wanting to die. I'm a Demon. Killing is part of my nature my sweet." His words would be punctuated both by a sinister laughter, and punch directly to the jaw. Of course it wasn't an ordinary punch, as Masakaki found out the moment it connected. In the moment Elysia's punch met his jaw her spiritual energy erupted alongside the force of the blow causing an explosion of electrical energy to accompany the blow and add a bit more power to the punch.
Thus because of his own inattention, talking too much, and generally enjoying himself, Masakaki's sinister laughter came to an abrupt stop as his form was sent skidding, rather than sailing, through the air. In the split second that followed him being punched the Mad Hatter had already begun reacting, his demonic energy being drawn back to him from the atmosphere of Sector C, while at the same time using some of said energy to anchor himself in the air. Bringing his empty hand to his lip Masakaki brushed a small dribble off blood from his pale face before smiling dangerously at Elysia. HA! HA! HAHA! HAHAHA! AHHAHAHAHA! Insane laughter immediately began flowing freely from Masakaki's form as he gazed at the blood he had wiped off his lip. In an instant the males gaze would harden and lock upon the woman who had managed to land a blow upon him already. If she would lock eyes with his own Elysia would see a promise of pain and bloodshed in the demon's pink and green eyes.
Suddenly the Mad Hatter picked up the sound of someone shouting 'Why are you doing this'. To which the pale demon would merely cackle insanely before answering without his gaze every leaving the foe before him. "Why not little human?!" Darkness and demonic energy would gather within Masakaki's empty pale, mixing with the blood upon his fingers before the demon would flick a B.I.B in Touma's direction, not knowing he could simply disrupt the spell before it could harm him. "Plus.. A Grand Duke shouldn't let the soldiers have all the fun, RIGHT?" This final statement would be punctuated by Masakaki tapping into Shadow Movement, more specificly the Shadow Burst function of the technique. Given his skill with Shadow Movement the Shadow Burst would only double his raw speed, but for this instant that would be more than enough. Utilizing the two in combination the pale demon would seem to immediately vanish from both Touma and Elysia's sight, unless the somehow were accustom to spotting targets moving at the immense speed he currently was. Faster than a blink of an eye the pink haired demon would appear behind Elysia while sliding his blade back into its sheath before resting the tip of the cane upon the ground a leaning on it. In the moment he had crossed from in-front of, to behind Elysia the Mad Hatter had made two simple, precise slashes with his blade before sheathing it. Each slash was meant more to test his foe than injure, and as such while aimed for vitals and organs, the strikes were shallow. The first would fall from the jugular down her torso at an angle before the blade would then be aimed to stab through the right lung from behind.
After this the pink haired demon would simply turn on the spot, his hands upon the handle, and sheath of his cane-blade, ready to strike or defend depending on Elysia's next move.

Of course, why would a demon be after revenge? The thought of their own dying never mattered to them, it was all about personal gain and enjoyment. Even in a war to protect their homeland and the people within, many of their 'great' generals didn't mind slaughtering their own in the masses just so they could simply show off. I hate them. I hate them all.
Anger was seen welling up within the human, the very core of her being starting to react, starting to burn with a fiery passion that could only come forth from someone who truly hated these types of people. People who disregarded the very gift of life, all so they could have a bit more fun. 'Part of their nature'. What the hell was the difference between a demon and a hollow if that really was the case? Intelligence? Personality? Who fucking knew, but it definitely did disgust Elysia that there were things in this world that didn't do anything to make it a better place. Just ruin it. Brows began to furrow greatly, eyes narrowing against her target as she sailed forwards. Her resolution had been solidified for this fight, she would fight until the last drop was spilled, and then some.
When her strike finally landed, the ecstatic blur didn't smile or react in any way that showed she was proud of hitting the demon. Until he was either dead or retreating, her face would show the same look, the same focus on this very being, the same determination to pull through and stand victorious. Her eyes watched as she could tell one thing easily, he wasn't just flying. He was using something to keep him stable, hence the skidding. Something she didn't have, her only capabilities of flight involved darting around in the same area, making it a big drain of energy over time, something that she would need to remedy in the future. For now? She simply watched, seeing the creatures eyes turn towards her as blood dripped forth from their lip.
The small frame of silence was interrupted with the hollering and laughter of a sick and twisted being. Their eyes were forced to meet, and intents were given forth. Elysia was promised a world of pain and suffering, something she already lived in, while Masakaki could tell she had greater plans. Her goal wasn't to bring forth discomfort and retribution to the vile being, it was to do anything she could to drive him out. At all costs. Despite the intense glare being given off, Elysia could still hear the voice of someone off in the distance, someone who hadn't run. Good. Someone else was here to fight, someone else was here to actually help defend against this threat. Her eyes didn't wander to see who was speaking, but she was able to hear them, and able to hear the Hatter's response to them.
'Fun'. Let's see how much fun it is to get your ass kicked...
The Hatter was on the move, nearly disappearing from sight and moving at incredible speeds. No, Elysia wasn't trained to fighting those faster than her, she was experienced in fighting those that could blink and teleport around just as quickly. She couldn't see what he was doing, or where he was aiming, but she had enough common sense to try and defend herself. Arms were quickly brought upwards to protect herself, covering the majority of her chest while her face hide behind her fists, leading to a partial defense against Masakaki's actual strike. The blade scored a nice, red line along the human's arm, followed by a nice, clear stab to her back. Despite the accuracy of the strike, it's power was something else to be debated. The blade simply had the same effect as the slash against her arm, a small red dot in the place of where he thrusted. Elysia wasn't exactly the weakest thing around, her body's resistance against damage was something to be noted for a being of her current strength. Both of his normal, quick slices were only able to cut the first layer of flesh on a being, to bring about minor pain, essentially a paper-cut.
Though his ability with magic and actual strengths might cause a greater amount of pain and damage to Elysia, his initial test would reveal that she was durable for such a spry thing. Hell, she was actually tougher than she was faster, the bursts of light being her main way of moving about against quicker foes. It was Elysia's turn to react, and with noticing that she wasn't blasted to smithereens or engraved against the steel walls, Masakaki wasn't starting with his strongest yet. He wanted to enjoy this fight, to have fun, to simply mess around. Good, that would be his downfall. Elysia wasn't here to fun, but to end the conflict that was happening. With that in mind, it would be best to go all out and use as much force as possible.
Her body spun within the air, eyes focusing towards the Demon's body as her body began to tense. She was slowly falling, the gravity within the base slowly pulling her down. Even with this, her entire form seemed to be getting into a pose, right arm cocking backwards at hip-height, left arm being held forwards as an open palm was presented forth. Her legs seemed to be taking a pose for as if she were standing, left foot slightly forwards as her knees remained bent, muscles slowly preparing themselves as a sudden influx of energy burst forth within her, electrifying her body and launching it forwards. The movement was excessively quick, her body appearing to be a blur with the amount of speed added into her base as she zoomed forwards to appear before the demon, Right fist aiming to en lodge itself right underneath his chest and over his belly, to where the diaphragm would be. If the blow were to connect, the clenched fist would dig deep into the muscle, forcing all air out of his lungs through the strike as her Awake Spark activated, a powerful explosion of electric energy shooting forth, similar to her first strike against him.
Not a single word would be uttered forth, the more she talked, the more she amused him. That was the last thing she wanted right now.
