It was hard to say why The Beast of Karakura had not involved himself too heavily in the affairs of the world occurring as of late. There were many incidents accelerating and coming to pass even after the almighty clash of the Australia Conflict. The tension of war was brewing everywhere and perhaps his power was needed now more than ever. Yet, he just felt so tired that the male did not have much of a desire to do much anything until this very moment.
The planet was in dire need of more safe havens and the male had the power to create them easily enough with enough time, focus and energy. So, naturally, the male felt a deep rooted instinct to stop being so useless and confined to one location within Japan and begin spreading his influence throughout the globe. Thus, on the eve of July 10th, the operation to begin the terraforming of Greenland had been marked as a green-go.
However, prior to that, he made sure to evacuate most of the living residents of the continent before engaging in this quest. While it was improbable to account for every hidden factor, most documented residents were forcibly removed from the continent and would be reimburse handsomely by Shadin himself for their inconvenience. He'd even go as far as to make sure all their homes, cities and so on were left in tact when his operation was done. The man was one of the wealthiest figures on the planet, so money was no object for him; and he certainly didn't care much about the potential criticism which could be had from these actions. The overall betterment of humanity was important to him compared to the needs of a small few.
Regardless, after these arrangements were met, The Beast Of Karakura would then take swift flight towards the heavens from Japan. He required no type of special vehicle or transports; as he was perfectly capable of flying through the atmosphere by creating a specialized barrier around his body. Imaginary Computation was a complex power, and the calculations associated with it could range in the quadrillions of numbers alone through his mind. Thus, to create a personified atmosphere around himself was child's play. All that was required was for him to make the metaphysical protocols needed in order to reflect the harshness of space through the particles of energy associated with his power. It was a rather simple task to do compared to the daily strain the Yuudeshi Network as a whole dealt with.
None the less, The Crimson Eyes of The Beast gazed around the bright sights of the planet and soon found himself surrounded by a fleet of massive aircraft. These contained many sorts of different Yuudeshi Clan members, Vanguard operatives, Yayjuu agents and a few Vizard Corps members. Some had came to view the spectacle, others were here to assist. However, what was more important were the diplomatic officials abroad these craft which gave the all clear for him to use the full power of The Yuudeshi Network to his heart's content.
This was quite important because of the fact Shadin was often limited in how much power and influence he could utilize from Imaginary Computation and The Yuudeshi Network in non-war time situations. However, given the circumstances which the planet was beginning to fall under, only a brain-dead imbecile would seek to restrict him any further. Therefore, he had full authorization over the mass quantum mechanic systems of the network and had enough resources of energy to cover entire nation if he so desired.
And that's precisely what he intended to do now.
Given the amount of power being generated from The Yuudeshi Network at the moment, he diverted most of their resources towards devouring Greenland. Thus, it would take him anywhere from ten to fifteen minutes to cover the whole of the nation. In doing so, The Yuudeshi managed to have a white and blue glow devour the frigid piece of land. Compared to the mammoth effort of maintaining such a similar feat over Australia? Greenland was a much more welcomed chore to deal with.
However, unlike Australia, he wasn't simply just creating a vast barrier to deflect against intruders. No. This was much more intricate and complex than that. He was putting the computation ability of his power to the test. There were quintillions of strings of formulas being infused into the country. These quantum based injections of thought and manipulation were being embed within the lands so that the result would create an event which could allow for the atmosphere and temperature of the space around the terrority to resemble levels found in more tropical climates.
These may take days or weeks to stabilize, but nothing great was created overnight. And, with the steady hand of Imaginary Computation and The Yuudeshi Network, The Beast Of Karakura held not even the slightest shred of doubt that he could achieve this feat with the utmost of speed so long as he retained his ungodly focus. It was going to take everything he had and more, but this effort was worth it for the people of the planet.
Hence, the next phase of his plan would be to begin melting the dense layers of ice found throughout the country. It was not out of his control to accelerate the temperatures of the region to the point of causing immediate thawing of the frozen climate. Therefore, to avoid these excess waters from raising the sea levels of the planet, more waves of abstract and perplexing equations were being harnessed and brought to life through Imaginary Computation.
As he was modifying the natural forces of the planet to a metaphysical level and bending physics with his quantum manipulation to his will. And, through this feat, he instructed rigid protocols to have the ice resend and evaporate to the heavens. In doing so, he planned to have the waters of the ice be released into space and broken down molecule by molecule into a mist which would produce a beautiful stream of blue and white sparkles to be seen throughout the planet.
Hours were beginning to pass by at this point, but The Beast Of Karakura was still working tirelessly to create this space. And, the next wave of effects to come would be dealing with the topography and terrain of the country. Even as a child Shadin found it ridiculous that Iceland was filled with ice and not grass. So, now that he was a fully grown spiritual being capable of being comparable to a demi-god, it was time to rectify that mistake and begin morphing much of the land reflect the nation's title.
Much of the environment around Greenland would have an accelerate growth in plant-life as Imaginary Computation began to influence the physical ecosystem of the nation. Forests, rivers, meadows, lush mountain tops, out lands and other similar regions were being created and crafted throughout the country. While, in other sections, there would be deserts, barren open lands and empty zones in order to begin construction of defenses, cities and bases later. His vision of this space was that it was going to be a mixture of futurism and bare natural environments to have the perfect infusion of technology and nature.
After a half day or so, however, much of the terraforming had been complete; but not finalized. No. The observation period was going to be more concerning to The Yuudeshi. It is why he lingered above one of the vast aerial vessels of The Yuudeshi Network and observed the different storms beginning to form across the country. There would be random earthquakes, intense thunderstorms and ungodly heat felt throughout the country as it would begin to stabilize over the coming week.
However, these were not events which The Yuudeshi Network and Shadin himself could not keep under control. This was merely the first step towards creating a beacon of safety in the world.

Oh boy. Today was going to be a big one. He could feel it. Biting his lip under the scarf that covered his mouth, nose, and left eye, Henrex slowly moved his left hand to his sword. A single shiver was sent up and down his spine from the gentle cold wind that brushed over the pale skin of the Angel of Darkness. Even though Henrex was used to the cold....it still made his shudder and shiver. Perhaps it was the mere sudden nature of the cold breeze. The gloved hand of Henrex Astillon soon drifted to the hilt of his sword. Gripping it tightly, the only eye that Henrex had revealed slowly drifted towards the weapon as he walked. The hilt of his Zanpakutō felt...colder for some reason. Even with gloves on his hands, he could feel that the even the hilt of his signature weapon was as cold as ice.
Releasing the grip on his sword, Henrex continued to walk throughout Greenland. He had taken on a mission to, hopefully, make Greenland livable, and safe. Safe from Hollows, Demons, and anything bad that would threaten the world. Henrex swallowed nervously, as he knew who was behind this project. Shadin Yuudeshi. For some odd reason, Henrex was afraid to sign up for this mission when he heard who was behind it. He just signed up to aid the one of, if not the most powerful Ziamichi in the world, who was part of the largest, and the most powerful organization/family in the world. So....it was a pretty good reason to be even the slightest afraid.
However, with Henrex being much weaker than anyone who might try to stand up against him, he was terrified currently. However, this was also just a part of him. He was naturally afraid of someone stronger than him. Especially someone who was either aiming to kill him, or if it was someone that was an ally...but he didn't know what happened if they got angry...or got on their bad side by accident. That was the true reason Henrex was afraid. It was the reason he kept to himself most of the time. However, with his simple mission being to make Greenland safe and habitable, he didn't think he would be doing anything that would make anyone angry.
Keeping a hand on his sword, Henrex continued to walk towards the project site of this. Before actually working on this, he wanted to get a good idea of what was going on behind the scenes. The description that he was given was very vague, since it didn't specify anything that might be very important to the mission. However, even if Henrex couldn't do much, he would help to the best of his own abilities. Looking at his Zanpakutō, a sad look soon spread into the young Shinigami's eye. The look soon faded, as did the thought that sparked in his mind. A seed of doubt. All it was. Today...was not a day to allow his mind to control his heart and actions. Today....was a day of change.
Approaching the site where Shadin Yuudeshi currently was working, Henrex saw it. The massive barrier that currently covered, and still was covering Greenland. The eye of the boy widened as he stared at it. This...was the power of Shadin Yuudeshi, as well as the Yuudeshi Network. It was amazing. Swallowing nervously again, he slowly resumed his walk towards the Beast himself. The entire body of Henrex was shaking not just from the cold wind of the land, but from two other things. One of them was just the aura of power and authority that Shadin emitted. It was....frightening to him.
The other thing that was making him shake was...himself. The heart of the young boy was sending the emotion of fear coursing throughout his body. He was...afraid of Shadin. There were so many reasons why. But now...now that he was interacting with him, and going to help him, for some reason, he was more terrified than ever. Slowly, but silently approaching him, Henrex reached his glove-clad hand out...and gently tapped him on the shoulder. Still shaking with fear, Henrex quickly moved back a few inches, straightening his form, and doing his very best to hide his fear.
"S-Shadin Yuudeshi, s-sir! I-I'm here to help you with...t-the mission to make Greenland safe and habitable! I-I may not be....as talented as you, but I will t-try my best!"

Stabilization. That was key to keeping Greenland in tact. While storms, earthquakes and lightning rumbled throughout the country; the excess of unstable energy needed to be processed and let go as The Yuudeshi Network carefully monitored and handled balance of the immeasurable calculations needed to keep track of Imaginary Computation's alterations to reality. It was a long and daunting task, but he was steadily handling each different section and allowing these pockets of instability to be safely released and disburse throughout the atmosphere.
Once these arrangements were made, the next phase of construction, creation and rebuilding could begin and The Yuudeshi Network could start to house and bring in clusters of humans from all over the globe to call this place their home. The world was beginning to become a terrifying place to live in, but there was still the hope that he could make a peaceful difference before the mantle of war needed to be rose high and proud in the air. It was the least he owed the planet and it was apart of his goal of mending the scars of the planet. That's all he ever wanted.
However, it seemed he wouldn't be alone on this effort today. Two energy signatures were approaching the top of his aerial vessel and one of them was somewhat familiar. The first was from a shinigami whom was identified as "Henrex Astillon". Shadin definitely recalls meeting this individual based on the mess Eric Zarathos and his lackeys caused in Karakura Central. They were memories which mildly agitated him remembering that day, but at least those pack of bumbling fools were dealt with and exiled from Karakura Central before the boy was skewered. Still, he was surprised he bothered to come on a mission like this.
What was less surprising was the fact one of his many daughters had arrived on this mission. With how busy The Yuudeshi had became, it was a rather unfortunate turn of events that he hadn't much time to spend with her. Granted, his own reclusive nature didn't help matters, but it was great that they could spend time with one another here. So, he would give a soft smile back towards her and nod his head when Chifuyu arrived.
However, before he could properly address her, Shadin seemed to turn his crimson gaze upon the shinigami whom appeared to be on the verge of wetting himself with nervousness. With a tilt of his head, The Yuudeshi would say these words to the male and give a soft sigh:
"C'mon, you act like I'm going to butcher you or something."
The voice of Shadin sounded as if he was a mixture of tired, flustered and somewhat agitated. And, if one were to look him in the eyes, there seemed to be almost a mild sense of embarrassment on the male's face; but it certainly wasn't for himself. Nay, he was contracting second hand embarrassment for the way Henrex was acting. He legitimately felt bad for the kid and figured it was time to move things along before he fainted or something.
"Look, can you give me a run down of your abilities? If you can give me that I'm sure The Network can make you more than useful, kid."
And that statement was true. The Yuudeshi Network was operating with 100% of it's power. At this point, Shadin wielded the power to make anyone's capacities shift into overdrive. The evolution of their tool was the pinnacle of human ingenuity and he was determined to use it to better the world at any cost. So, it is why he also turned to his daughter and gave her a hug seemly out of no where.
"As I'm sure you already understand how this process goes, right brat?"
Although his gaze still looked beaten and worn down, it would take a lot for his own fatherly instincts to simply be torn apart and dissolved into nothingness. The Beast Of Karakura cared for all of his children and Chifuyu would be no different.
"And trouble? Trouble follows me around like the plague. You know that."
And, despite the casual conversation going on, The Beast still seemed to still be able to command, estimate and control the prowess of Imaginary Computation. Granted, there was a heavy amount of assistance from the amount of external processing power from the Yuudeshi Network, but it goes to show how much his refinements to the network and Imaginary Computation has become over the years. Which is why he would send varied request to unlock and heighten Chifuyu's abilities to great extents for the mission so that she could play her part in revitalizing Greenland. As, if nothing else, The Yuudeshi Network was sure that it could make use of her crystal manipulation to provide a surplus of material for the construction of Greenland's city.

Song: The Sealed Kingdom - Artist: Adrian von Ziegler - Words: 889
Henrex was normally a person who admired the strong. Mainly because he considered himself weak. He never felt that he was strong. Even with everything he had gone through, he never felt like he had improved. He always felt...less than he was. The boy's eye slowly closed halfway as these thoughts flowed through his mind like a slow streaming river.
The moment his ears heard the Beast sigh, Henrex figured he had done something wrong. He really was acting like he was going to just cut him in two. The boy's eyes slowly averted to the ground. He felt kind of...bad. His left foot started kicking back and forth slightly. Under his scarf, his teeth gently gouged into his lip, as his eye darted around, constantly avoiding Shadin Yuudeshi's eyes. As his leg halted movement, Henrex's eye could only show one thing. Embarrassment.
He knew that he could at least make it up to him. The revealed right eye darted left, then right, which made him seem like he was checking for anyone. Slowly bending his body vertically, Henrex shakily bowed to Shadin. He felt that it was necessary at this time. With the mindset of a young samurai and martial artist, Henrex bowed a lot towards those who were a higher strength than him. Rising quickly afterward, his eye soon shifted to the right.
His eye and ears soon registered the second presence in the area. Seeing the girl approach the man and hug him was a saddening sight for Henrex. Hiding the pain in his eye from the memory that flashed through his soul and mind, Henrex soon moved his hand to his sword, slowly pulling the weapon from the sheath. A black and purple aura flowed from the base of the blade all the way to the tip of the deadly weapon.
These artificial shadows began to break off from the tip of the sword and slowly formed into something actual. The artifical darkness started to form into various objects. Small statues, a hammer, drills. There was virtually no real limit to what he could create. The only limit was use and the energy drain that this inflicted. His core power, Umbrakinesis, Darkness Creation/Manipulation, there were words and phrases for it all. It didn't matter what you called it. It all had one function for all the names. Control and create darkness. However, Henrex had never been able to truly control or create true "darkness". All his darkness was...was spiritual energy. It was his own spiritual energy that was performing this.
Henrex's eye soon closed as his ability began to create things that were leeching off his current thoughts. A skull and crossbones, a building that seemed to burn itself away, a drop. What did these represent in Henrex's thoughts? Death. Fire. And tears. The death of everything he cared about. The two fires that burned within him. The fire of passion and hope. To master his powers. And the fire of anger and vengeance. To avenge what was taken from him. The tears...was the symbol of sadness that occupied Henrex's heart and soul every day.
His eye opened again, only halfway. The sad, almost misty black eye of Henrex Astillon gazed at the Yuudeshi with a gaze of disappointment in himself. His eye closed once more, before the artificial shadows would quickly spread out behind Henrex's body, forming a thick mist and fog. The wind gently howled as the mist sat within the air, sending a cold breeze towards the Yuudeshis. The mist sat within the air for a small time, before it slowly began to flow back into the sheath of his sword.
At the same time of this, the Raven would slowly sheath his sword, before the tapping of the handguard of his weapon gently rang out like a church bell, sending any remaining spiritual energy floating away from the weapon, before slowly dissipating. The dark eye of the Raven opened once again, before a single, depressed sigh would leave his lips. It wasn't anything special to him. All that the whole show had been was, in a way, Shadow Mimicry. It wasn't real shadows. The long sigh soon formed into words as he spoke.
".....Umbrakinesis....Darkness Manipulation....there's so many names for it.....but it all has one core mechanic. Control and create darkness. But....I simply call it that. All it really is.....is spiritual energy. It's not special or anything.....It's just the dreams of a kid who's trying too hard....."
Henrex wasn't entirely proud of his abilities. The sad voice of his proved this. All it had been was spiritual energy. Would anything ever change that? Who knows. Perhaps he could be able to create actual darkness someday. But only time would be able to tell that. Time......and work. If he could ever do it, he would need to work for it. A much more quiet sigh left Henrex's lungs and lips, and his eye slowly trained itself on Chifuyu Yuudeshi. His seemingly dead eye seemed to simply gaze into her. He wasn't gaining information or anything.
It was just a stare.
His eye soon shifted away, his gloved right hand moved up towards the scarf on his face, tightening the cloth that hid the disfigurement upon the left side of the Raven's pale face. His eye closed quickly to hide his social anxiety and awkwardness, before he quickly regained composure.

Unrest had filled the nature iramasha compound. They could all feel it. Someone was doing some intense changes to the planet. Greenland had disappeared. This worried all of them. That land was pure, full of energy. The thought that someone was doing something to it was terrifying. That energy could be used for great evil, or great good. With that said 3 of them went out to check it out: Pierre, Dashel, and Fuji-san.
Over Greenland a sonic boom could be heard as a golden trail of light pierced the rumbling thunder clouds. It softly landed near the small group of people. Out the the light stepped out the three men that decided to see what was going on. though at this point they knew that the land as being turned into a refuge of sorts form man kind, admirable, but it was still dangerous.
Pierre, the talles on walked over to Shadin, looking down at him simply due to his tall stature. "Oi Shadin, you could have called us before hand. You had all of the Nature Iramasha in a fuckin panic. Greenland disappears and becomes an unstable mess of energy for a day and a half, we thought someone was creating a stupid weapon or someshit like that."
He looked back at Dashel and Fuji-san. Dashel was eager to help. Fuji-san didnt have much of a look on his face, his personality being eternally set to bringing out the doom in every situation. "Dashel, go around and see how stable the vibrations of the energy are. Fuji-san, check out that the water in the area isn't contaminated with any other energies." Pierre ordered.
Dashel turned into golden light as he flew away to inspect the whole of the semi-continent. Fuji-san on the other hand was much more interested in the covered up man, Henrex. He walked towards the shinigami and said. "I must speak to you later." It was very strange for him to speak to anyone. He must have sensed something in Henrex.
Pierre looked back and looked at Fuji-san, very interested in what he was doing. "Oi, guy iv seen before. You better take him up on that offer, he rarely talks to anyone. Must be serious or somethin."
Pierre then looked back at Shadin. "well youre the boss here. We can provide stabilization to his land and much more. Take it we are small in number but our powers when it comes to nature are beyond compare." he said offering him all the help that the Nature Iramasha could provide.
