First Impressions [Private/ Breezy] Kiyah_10

WC: 609

As usual, things around Kiyah were usual. The short male didn’t have anything interest of note happen to him recently, as most of his most hectic ventures were chasing his summons around because they weren’t able to keep a low profile. The spirit that lied within him hasn’t been causing him any kind of serious trouble, just her occasional nagging from now and then. So one could say this was the male’s chance to truly just relax. There was going to be no training, no nagging , no getting shocked or playing hide and go seek. This was just going to be time that Kiyah could spend by himself to relax, to enjoy the “honest” weather that he’s been presented with thus far. So the next question would obviously be what he could do in order to relax.

The arcade was always a nice place to hang out, or maybe grab something to eat, he wasn’t much of a shopping kind of guy so that didn’t really cross his mind. He’s still left to think with his father’s warnings, his clan’s over protectiveness due to the sad departure of his sister and all it does is give him a headache. Namely because part of him doesn’t even think the girl was dead, as in gone for good. It’s hard to accept in a demon friendly world such as the one he combats that someone just dies and that’s the end. Though at the moment he can’t really prove any of this to anyone outside of the obvious “maybe you should take a look around”, so with that thought all he can do is sigh. Maybe soon enough he’ll get the proof needed, and then maybe he’ll even be able to meet said sister. But neither of these things were going to be happening right this second.

Hikari, his spirit, has been with him for as long as he could remember now. Just being as motherly as she can, even at a majority of times when it’s not needed. She’s assisted with cooking and cleaning, but at the same time she’s usually nagging even in the midst of combat which doesn’t help him any. Schoolgirl B and V won’t be coming out, at least not yet despite how badly he knows the two want to. Usually all that comes with them being out and about is a lot of noise and trouble making.

So with the distractions out of the way, now he’s thinking what could make any of the things he had in mind more..well, fun. Because though they didn’t all sound too boring, it wasn’t as fulfilling as opposed to doing just about anything with someone else. Simply put, company is better in every way. Friend or stranger, just having someone else around would be able to make whatever he could plan to do a lot more fun. So the Ziamachi took it upon himself to be a bit friendlier and heed the advice of his usual nagging spirit.

“The more allies you have Kiyah, the less chance of death!”

And boy, was he not a fan of having to think about that. So he continued his walk with that thought in mind. Yes, having a few more friends would help him out but his mind is directed more towards the aspect of sitting back and relaxing than the art of strength in numbers. He was currently in his usual attire, consisting of a white Nike hoodie and black shorts as well as white tennis shoes. Eyes left to scan the populated area as he just walked, on the look out for anyone that even looked remotely interesting.

BURNING BLIZZARDS

AMAYA KIDACHI
希望もなくすることが

Perhaps going into the heart of one of the most populated cities was not a good option for the hermit. At least, not a good first choice. Over a century it had been since she even spoke to another person, now she was crammed into the city like a sardine, let suffocating in the dull rumble of the crowd. Yet, she pushed on. Wide, pink eyes darting between people as she hurried past the bigger clusters of people. Each step pushing her further and further away from the entrance she so desperately wanted to retreat to. But she wouldn't. The change was needed -- required -- and her own fear would be the last thing to stop her from tasting the true world and everything that had happened in it.

Well, maybe not everything. She was out of the loop, to say the least, and the last thing she wanted was to be bombarded by a sudden history lesson. Though, a few people had noticed how out of place she looked and offered to chat. Obviously, those approaches were met with a grunt and hand wave. It didn't help that the long, white horn jutting from the side of her head was a very clear give away of her race and, from what he understood, while accepted here, she was getting a lot of raised eyebrows. After all, she was a stranger among these people. A stranger that, perhaps, craved a good meal right that moment.

Eventually, she ducked into a larger building, quickly pressing her back to the inside wall as she closed her eyes. The black robe that covered her body shifted under her panting, the frayed edges of the bottom tangling among each other only for her nervous fingers to pull them apart.

"What are you doing here?" Came the aggressive voice, jarring the Arrancar from her rest. "You look like a troublemaker and the last thing I want is trouble." The large man was probably the owner of the...

She glanced around quickly, noting the machines and younger people hovering around them. Game area? Was she in an arcade? One would think a place like this would be open to most anyone.

"Are you mute?" He raised his voice a bit. "Get lost!"

"I'm only here for a moment," she quipped as she pushed herself from the wall and met the man face on. "Are you going to turn down a paying patron?" The lie came smoothly. But perhaps her clothing gave way to the knowledge that she was broke.

"Yes," he answered sharply and pointed to the door. "Now get out of here before you cause any more of a scene!"

First Impressions [Private/ Breezy] Kiyah_10

Had continued his stroll right through town seeing as not much of a ruckus was being started anywhere. He would have loved to just go for a joy ride on his board right now, but at the same time he’s not sure if that’s much of a “low profile” kind of look that he’s currently going towards. There just seem to be a lack of things to do, and the much needed social interaction didn’t seem like it would be happening anytime soon. Rather than get himself unnecessarily distraught upon realizing this, he figured the best way to blow off some steam might be if he goes to relax at the arcade for a while. So he heads there, and upon doing so notices a hooded figure start to make their way inside too.

He tries to just ignore it for now, as it can’t possibly pertain to him. He walks inside and slips in a few dollar bills for some needed change, and then goes to work playing a few light gun games. He actually gains somewhat of a crowd watching behind him with how well he seems to be at playing the game. After some time had passed he had already been able to set a high score on 2 of the 3 machines that he had just played on. Once finished he beat his chest a bit, proud of himself as some of the casual arcade goers were no doubt impressed. When it came to something simple as shooting games, he was amongst the best. So as long as he didn’t have to play on one of those machines where you have to punch, he is more than fine. So after the round of applause he was given and his ego was outstandingly inflated, he went on his merry way to accomplish other things.

Along this little trot through the machines he caught onto the situation with the strange figure from earlier. The owner seem to be acting like a bit of a prude to her, which wasn’t all that surprising. There were plenty of kids that came in here to do everything but buy something, so for him to be so pushy was somewhat understandable. He still didn’t have to be rude to whoever that person was, though. Kiyah simply listened in and absorbed the situation, able to identify the female just a bit while she had a back and fourth with the man. But just at that moment, an idea hit him. This was a long shot there was no doubt, but it just might work.

He made his way by the arrancar and without much of any warning, aim to slowly wrap his arm around her neck.

“There you are, I’ve been looking for you everywhere!”

He said, casually laughing and then looking back at the owner.

“I hope my girlfriend didn’t give you too much trouble. I did tell her to come her a little earlier than me and I’m sure she got lost. But we just came here to have fun and play some games. I’ve been in here before, so you know I can afford it. She’s just wearing this old thing because she saves her best outfits for when we go out to eat, you know ? We’re real sorry for any kind of disturbance. Can we please continue our date?”

Now he’s only hoping this girl knows how to play along. Everything he said was far from the truth, it didn’t even exist. But if they can get him to believe, maybe he’ll leave the both of them alone. There was little left to do now but wait to see how he takes all this information.
