Hiyashi has never joined the Iron Banner of Vastime before, but he was eager to see what it had to offer, perhaps a chance to meet up with new people or a chance to better improve himself as a whole.

He's heard of stories about a man who wanted to keep his family legacy alive, so he built the entire city from the ground up along with some help. That alone convinced him to join.

He realized he was going to encounter the Snow Wolf again one way or another, ever since he got punched in the gut for tresspassing into her forest he didn't want to experience that again. "Man, i gotta see her again" hiyashi sighed

Hiyashi did know one thing though, this would allow him to learn a new technique the wolf had made completely on her own. Another reason was that he could maybe...just maybe become friends with her which could make his whole life easier.

"Now where is that she?" hiyashi said

He wandered around vastime looking for the snow wolf, however he didn't knew the area very well. Meaning he was looking more lost then a decapitated chicken running around aimlessly.

"Ugh this is pointless at least give me a map or something" hiyashi said

Mirja, The Mad Wolf





Mirja was stood outside Vastime Training Grounds, awaiting the Trespasser! He was probably not trespassing here, Hayden was very open with his house, but she would still find a reason to punch him. Hell, he came here for some training, so finding a reason to punch him would be pretty easy. She'd just say it was part of his test to see how well placed his heart was in this situation. Wolf knew that a person needed a great deal of willpower to manifest a Tulpa for even a few seconds. He had a frail heart, he didn't stand up to Iko, didn't plant his feet and wan wan back, so showing him her Full Tulpa would probably scare him off.

But, it occurred to her after a while that inviting someone who had never been here to come to Vastime Training Grounds would be like telling someone who was not good at geography to meet her at Skrautvål. Nice little village, but doesn't help if you don't know where it is. So she wiggled her ears and took off looking for the new Reiatsu in town. Assuming he had even arrived. That was going to be awkward. How could she tell? Henrex was morbid enough to be unique, but this guy?

So she started to walk around town, hanging around the rooftops and looking for anyone who seemed very lost. She didn't have to wait long, she found the guy pretty quickly, he stuck out like a sore thumb, and not just because he looked like he had been slapped repeatedly with a wet fish.
"Oi, trespasser!" she shouted. He would know exactly who she meant even before dropping down from the roof and landing in front of him. "So, you ready for training?" She asked. Her tone of voice, mannerisms, and even posture would be radically different to what he saw before. It was almost as if the girl was entirely a different person. Maybe she had a twin?

Hiyashi felt like he was walking in this city for hour, it's one thing not having a map to see the surrounding area but being new in town while looking like a sore thumb is a whole different story altogether. "Ugh this is infuriating" he was about to give up until he heard a familiar sound.

Oi, trespasser!" she shouted.

Hiyashi shooked, That voice could only mean one thing, the snow wolf had appeared. Hiyashi tried turning around but she was already in front of him. "Jesus she's fast" he said to himself. Hiyashi expected the wolf to start punching him in the gut as a sign of greeting, however she didn't. When the wolf asked hiyashi if he's ready for training he noticed that her behavior and manners were drastically different then what he saw before in the forest, it made him feel uneasy.

He didn't want to be rude and not answer the wolf's question so he replied with a friendly smile, "Of course" he said.

Found him. Obviously. She wouldn't have really shouted if she hadn't have found him, the logic there was solid and astounding. She could astound entire masses with the logic, and probably this guy as well, he seemed quite easily astounded. So, along with wondering how many times you could say astound in your head while grinning at someone, she took a step towards him and moved to pick him up.

"Good that you got here. Welcome to Vastime. This is the most wonderful nation in the world. I've got a coffee shop here, and it's led by a Vizard, so you won't feel out of place. Sort of. I mean, half not feeling out of place, I guess" she rambled, before recovering and putting him on his shoulder.
"So you are a scrub-tier mook and I like to get going with the quickness and the speed and the doing. So you are going to ride the Mirja express. Hang on for dear life, Kiddo" She warned, before leaping up onto the nearby rooftop - seemingly unencumbered by the Shinigami she was carrying - and charting a course back to the training ground, before taking off at supersonic velocity.

For her, this speed was a peaceful one. She loved how she flew through the air, how sound was so distant, and how she could not hear what were probably the screams of the shinigami she was carrying. He might be feeling differently about being buffered by gale-force winds and being unable to hear anything at all. Fortunately, it did not last very long, and Mirja arrived, plonking the guy down on the ground and grinning broadly as her tail swished and her ears eared.
"Alright. Here we are. Now, we can begin the practice for this new and awesome technique"

Hiyashi could relate to her, he usually starts rambling on about stuff when he introduces himself or gives a tour of a location he lived in.

"So you are a scrub-tier mook and I like to get going with the quickness and the speed and the doing. So you are going to ride the Mirja express. Hang on for dear life, Kiddo".

Hiyashi wanted to make a remark but she was right, his speed felt lackluster compared to her's and was glad he was given a nice introduction of the vastime.
Hiyashi then held on tight, hoping to not fall off as she jumped from building to building.

He could feel the amount of wind pushing up against him, it was so great that he had to shut his eyes. Although she was going a moderate speed he felt that his ears was going to pop similar to going up to high altitude while on a plane.


As she plonked hiyashi onto the ground, he could feel his tush hurt a little. Looking at the snow wolf she had a small grin on her face her tail swished back and forth, as if she was ready to begin.

"Alright. Here we are. Now, we can begin the practice for this new and awesome technique

Hiyashi was wondering what this new technique could be, perhaps an offensive abilty or an ability that can increase your speed during battle. Whatever it was, hiyashi was eager to learn it.

"Alright then, let's do this" hiyashi said with determination in his eyes.

He didn't scream. Maybe it was too fast for him to scream, maybe he was stupid, too stupid to every comprehend the situation he was in, or maybe it was just because he was the kind of person so confident in themselves that nothing ever scared them and they never felt anything other than determination. It would explain why he had faced Iko so impotently and then got lightly tapped out of the forest as a result of his overconfidence. Still, she was going to use this guy to get some stress off her back, he probably wouldn't be able to learn what she was teachin,g she had unique teaching methods.

"Lets do this huh? Well, aren't you the driven one. Yeah, come on, lets do it. Hrr, I can do these even though I had no idea what is going on and my face needs punching in right now" Mirja make a mocking mimicry before letting out a sigh and flicked her tail a bit more. "Even so, ok. Let's begin. First you've gotta really get in touch with who you are. You can't half ass this, so don't even try if you've not unlocked your Shikai" she told him, crossing her arms.

"Unlocking your Shikai and this have some similarities. In both, you have to look inside yourself, and connect. With your shikai, it's connecting to your Zanpaktou, but with this Kata, it's connecting with yourself. You have to find something that brings about an intense feeling of peace, and then use it to release your earthly tethers. Let go what ties you to the world and become self-aware. And then you have to come back down, and pick your ties back up, because they are important. Only this time you control your tether and can do with it as you will"

First you've gotta really get in touch with who you are. You can't half ass this, so don't even try if you've not unlocked your Shikai" she told him, crossing her arms.

Hiyashi couldn't have guessed it wasn't going to be a walk in the park, since it's being taught by the Snow Wolf herself. He understood what she meant, if you don't got shikai then bringing you here was entirely pointless.
Luckily, hiyashi has his shikai unlocked so the easy part is already out the window next comes the more difficult part which the snow wolf explains.

"You have to find something that brings about an intense feeling of peace, and then use it to release your earthly tethers. Let go what ties you to the world and become self-aware."
After hearing that hiyashi sat down crossed his legs and closed his eyes, inhaling and exhaling very slowly to slow down his heart rate. "Find something that brings a sense of peace huh?" Hiyashi said to himself
He thought about it deeply he rememberd about his past life his family, his friends and even the people he met today.

"He thought about his sister sumida, the one person who allowed him to find peace in the world."

Well, it was surprising that the kid had his Shikai. She was pretty certain he was basically unseated, and yet was still rocking the first release of his Zanpaktou. Maybe it was a fake release or something? There was no way he had the power to sustain it for any amount of time, even if it was. Still, she'd give him his delusions for now, and carry on with the lesson. He took some stereotypical seating position which made it clear he had no idea what he was doing, and went about trying to get some shallow, surface peace. She knew now it wouldn't be enough, so she walked over and cuffed him across the ear, hard enough that he'd probably get knocked half-way across the training ground.

"No. Not like that. Not the first thing that comes to mind that might kind of work because it makes you smile on occasion. That is not how this goes. What you need is something a lot stronger than that. What you need, is what you go to when you have been beaten within an inch of your life, several times. And you know that what has done it is hunting you, ready to drop down at the worst moment, and if you give up for a second you are relegating yourself to the worst kind of hell imaginable" she seemed to be speaking from experience, if the fire in her eyes and the fury in her fists was anything to go off. "And despite all this, there is that one thing that cuts through all the tension, all the fury, and anger and fear, and lifts you back onto your feet to fight another day. Because you just can't comprehend losing that one thing"

Looking at Mirja, her size seemed to fluxuate, and there was a subtle something about her that gave anyone who looked a niggling feeling of fear and discomfort.
"I will not have you coming here thinking you can breeze through this in an afternoon with the first thing that pops up. You will not disrespect this, or me. So I will give you one last chance before I eject you from this city with less limbs than you entered it with" It seemed that, while Iko was rash, impulsive, and liked to hit people, Mirja was by far the more dangerous of the two.

As the snow wolf cuffed hiyashi's ear he could feel himself being dragged effortlessly, almost as if she was gonna throw him into a wall.


I will not have you coming here thinking you can breeze through this in an afternoon with the first thing that pops up. You will not disrespect this, or me. So I will give you one last chance before I eject you from this city with less limbs than you entered it with"

Hiyashi was surpised she'd allow him a second chance to redeem his careless mistake, He assumed he'd just be punched out of the training session with every bone broken in his body. Hiyashi did however wanted to apologize for thinking this would be such an easy task to accomplish.
"I apologize for disrespecting you, i'll take this seriously. He said

Hiyashi didn't want to make her upset again, after all he knew how powerful her punches were and it'd be best to take this seriously.

Mirja's eyebrow twitched as he got up without any problem. Maybe she had instinctively pulled back without thinking to avoid killing him. He was a weak thing after all, anything more than a cuff would see him dead, and that would not look good on her resume. She was trying to get back into Hayden's good graces and murdering someone in his house would probably be seen in a bad light. So she restrained herself and stared him down, looming ominously and installing a fear that had once made a Quincy kid literally wet themselves from the experience.

If he could find peace while faced with this, then maybe he would actually get somewhere. Unfortunately for him his words sparked the great inferno that was her temper with careless ease.
"You'll take it seriously? implying you haven't been doing so far?!" she shrieked before looking to the sky and letting out a powerful roar of rage, enough to set the kid's ears ringing. "HAYDEN! I swear to Soul King if you don't come get this vapid living carcass right now he will lose the middle part of that title!" she screamed into the city.

Her anger was always an interesting thing, making threats that were not quite as evident as they sounded at first hearing, requiring thought to actually work out. Which, in such a situation was never a good idea, but maybe that was why she did it. Her voice was powerful and louder than most would consider possible, so even if Hayden didn't hear it, chances were that somebody worth a dam would, even if that was just Atlas. Mirja liked that Colonel. She'd hold back on murdering the guy if D'ecter turned up, that was for sure.
