Fall [One-Shot] Empty Fall [One-Shot]

Mon Oct 24, 2016 12:38 pm
[This is the last known whereabouts of the individual known as Moonie Iramasha, following the events of the Battle for the Moon...]

Slowly, the falling figure's eyes began to open. His body was falling, falling, falling... echoing. His eyes widened as he watched, his hands reaching out but unable to stop his departure. He was simply moving too fast. "V..." His eyes widened further, gashes ripping all across his body. That explosive wave of power, that absolutely devastating wave of destruction... Something had happened... and the Champion of the Moon had been blown off of his home.

"VOI!" He roared, his eyes wide as his massive pile of blonde hair ripped around his body, his hands flung out in every direction as he stared at where his home had been.

"NOOOOOO!"

He roared, feeling the change around him. His moon was... dispersing. It was being subsumed. "No..." He whispered to himself, continuing his descent as he opened his mouth wide, letting out a gut-wrenching noise of sadness and pain, continuing his descent, along with a single question: Why?.

Why had this happened to his home? Why did this have to occur? Could the world take anything else from the man who had precious little enough to begin with? His roar continued as he fell, as at last he let the tension in his body go. It was quite amazing that he was even still alive; but apparently, his death had not yet been deemed necessary.

He continued to descend, his eyes closed now. His entire body felt cold, so very cold. All of the heat was gone from his body now, and only his existence as a Nature Iramasha was keeping him alive. I... can't... His connection was disturbed, as his form continued to fall, his eyes completely shut as his consciousness faded in and out...

Without warning, the body of the male warmed up again. His entire body alit with fire as its owner began to reenter the atmosphere of the Earth. THis was not the first time this had occurred, and it was unlikely that it would be the last. Or perhaps it would... after all, the male had ceased to move... Peaceful...?

The Moon Iramasha's body reached terminal velocity, before impacting into the ground next to a small shack. Normally, this would have caused a crater, visible for miles from the impact, and he likely would even have kept going down deeper, possibly even breaking through the crust. But not this time.

After all, he had been caught. Caught by a figure who looked at the body in his hands, droplets of water falling on the Iramasha's face.

"You fool..." The figure muttered, before slowly beginning to walk into the forest. "You said you'd always be there for me..."

In the forest, a deep hole had been dug, where the body of the male was laid to rest. "...Undisturbed, this place will be..."

With those words, a wave of spiritual energy flowed outwards, binding around this place. The still form of the Iramasha could no longer be detected by any ordinary measures, and in the middle of the grove, above where he lay, a sign was erected.

In the end, it's not the years of your life that count. It's the life in your years. We do not remember days, we remember moments... The privilige of a lifetime is being who you are.

A man is defined by his enemies. Enemies mean that he has stood up for something in his life. The man who was loved by friend and foe alike rests here... may his spirit one day return to ignite the lives of those who dare to challenge this world.
