» Appearance Description: Haru has long brown hair, typically tied back in a rather loose manner. His eyes are a violet so pale they almost appear white, and because of this some may take him for a blind man. Haru wears Shinobi-style clothing, not tight and rather easy to move around in.

» Personality: Haru is typically a kind, sweet, loving young man, one who would do anything in his power to save another life. Haru sees the value in all life, no matter how worthless a life may seem to other people. Even if they are the most despicable of beings, Haru will try to save them. Haru isn't the type to give up on anything, due to his intense faith in humanity.

Haru is one who is at peace most of all in nature, surrounded by natural beauty. He doesn't like technology, it is not as wild and unique as natural wonders, the beauty of nature is what appeals to him. Technology is too perfect, too unnatural, for his tastes. Haru, despite his vow to one day carry on his family line, vastly prefers men over women. Were he not the last of the Ryuu, he would likely have a boyfriend rather than dating women. Haru's sense of duty is great, and so he forces himself to be with women.

» Background:
Haru first discovered his powers at the young age of only 12. His powers Awakened after his family was attacked by not just an ordinary hollow, but an arrancar, attacked because of their unusual Chi Powers. Such powers posed a problem, as they could rival the strongest of Shinigami. And so his family was attacked, Haru being the only survivor, saved by the timely arrival of a Shinigami named Kira Kagami. Kira came just in time to rout the attacking arrancar, though unfortunately was unable to save the rest of the Ryuu clan.

Haru's clan held extreme physical power, boosted by Chi. They could block or open the flow of Chi in the bodies of others, stopping people from using their powers, or enhancing their ability to access their power. These powers were acknowledged as one of the most powerful human clans, with fearsome powers not meant to be trifled with. He spent 5 years training after the destruction of his clan, learning to use his powers for the sake of others.

Haru vowed to become stronger after the destruction of his clan, to become strong and pass those powers on to his children one day, so the bloodline could continue. It is now his greatest goal to carry on his clan bloodline after the intense training of the past 5 years.

» Chi Powers:
Paralyzing Strike
This ability enables the user to strike the Chi point in the lower back, flooding their body with his own chi, restraining them in such a way that the target loses all control of their muscles, lasting for a single post. Once every 3 posts.

» Awakened Powers:
Chi Sensory
Haru has a special power from his clan. He can sense the flow of Chi in every living being, with a few rare exceptions, and can figure out where he needs to strike in order to boost or weaken the powers of others. There is a blind spot in his ability to sense Chi, he cannot sense directly below him. He also can sense at maximum 2-3 different people's Chi at once, but can only pinpoint precisely the location if it is 1 at a time. He can, at highest, sense 4 or 5 Tier beings with some ease, any higher and he is unlikely to sense them, as they would have more control over their power.

Blocking strike
With this ability, Haru can block the flow of Chi of a target, by flooding the person with his own chi, serving as a restraint for a short time, causing an inability to move that area for a short time. By transferring some of his Chi Into another person, this can cause anything from a bit of numbness (same tier) to complete paralysis of one limb (lower tier) to nothing (higher tier). His Chi, when in another person's body, restrains movement to a small portion of this person's body, by cutting off movement the way Shinigami may use kido or such to restrain an opponent. This temporarily blocks from using physical ability such as being able to move an arm to swing a sword, or shoot a bow, for only a single post. Every 3 posts. This also does not affect those of higher tiered, only 2 tiers lower.

Unblocking
With this, Haru can manipulate his own Chi flow, redirecting his Chi to a certain area of his body to increase his strength, so rather then being rather weak, his strength gains a tier in power, dependent entirely on where he redirects his Chi, this can either become quite a threat, or leave himself open. He must make sure that some of his Chi remains spread out in his body, or he will not be able to move anywhere that the Chi was not redirected to. He must also make sure that his heart has some Chi, because if not, he could die.

This increases his strength from Begginer to Adept.

» Roleplay Sample:
The boy cowered against the wall as the arrancar advanced. The bodies of his parents thumped to the ground as the arrancar finally tired of his prey and got ready to kill the last human member of the Ryuu clan.
Haru didn't know what to do, his mother and father were gone and there was nobody to help him. But as the arrancar prepared to bring his blade down, another blade stopped the bloodstained one in its tracks.

"Now now Rin, again with the slaughtering of innocent humans?" Asked a voice, seemingly chiding the arrancar.
A white haired young man, with unusual violet eyes, was standing in the way of the other blade.

Haru woke up with a gasp, his heart beating like a drum. That same dream again... was it a sign of some sorts? Was something bad about to happen? He usually only dreamt of that day when something bad was about to happen. His violet eyes warily studied the room around him, only to find it was still the dead of night, and extremely dark. He couldn't sense any unusual Chi either... he supposed it would be alright. Sighing at his own foolish mind wandering to that night once again, he let himself close his eyes.

Personality needs at least 3 more sentences to reach the minimum we have.

Chi Sensory has no limits outside of being useless below him. He's going to be weak so his sensory isn't going to be able to read a majority of people due to this. I'd reword it in order to fit the fact that if they're of equal power or weaker they'd have their "Chi", which in this case would be any spiritual energy source, read. I'd also limit the usages of readings each post. So at this point he'd be able to only read it once a post and memorize a single position.

Blocking Strike doesnt define anything outside of "stops powers". People will be faster than him. Are there other ways to deny this attack? I would also limit it to a single post every 3 on top of the fact that it won't block all powers. We don't allow that.

Unblocking is just not going to be allowed. Few characters have abilities of this type and they're some of the strongest. Rework it or scrap it, please. Also please use our tiering system when you define how it works.

Blocking Strike: Ok, Chi is not what causes our limbs and muscles to function. Chi can enhance those things, but they do not solely function on them. So, blocking the flow of Chi to disable a limb is just...not possible. Either change this to make sense or remove it. Not only that, it still needs to be said that this will not block all powers.

Chi Sensory: You still haven't fixed the rest of what Blade requested of you. This still has no other limits other than how many people can be sensed at a time. Haru is going to be weak, so you need to add a limit to what tier of people he can sense. For that, use the tier system to aid with it.

Unblocking: Make a list on what it boosts to, i.e Beginner > Adept, Adept > Advanced, and so on, up to Master.

You either need to change this so that it makes more sense, or just remove the thing entirely. I have not a single clue of what you're saying. On top of that, you'll need to nerf this heavily. From what he's going to be, he's not going to be able to block off movement for a limb to just anyone.

After this is fixed, I'll give him a tier and will skills.

Change the "equal tiered and lower" part to "two tiers lower than him". I'm also going to ask you to strike this out. This is not something he will have access to with the tier that he will be receiving. You can get this back one he reached 3 tier, and has done a training thread to unlock it.
