Returning to the Soul Society was always a big thing for the Wolf Vizard. She was an Earth girl mostly so when she came back here it usually meant she was bored. This place had her best cooking equipment and there was always some guy she could start a fight with, some newly Shikai'd dude who thought he was invincible because he had finally released his Zanpaktou. Sure, Mirja had yet to reclaim that title herself, but that didn't mean she couldn't trash most people with her pinkie. And sometimes, watching people play about meant that she herself got some sort of enlightenment about herself. But, not always.
She sniffed about a bit, and was led into the forests, of all places. Here, some kid was training his basic strokes, but apparently got bored of that or something because then he went into more experimental strokes. Mirja wasn't good at swords herself, but she had watched Hayden and Tsubasa - and to a lesser extent Verniy and Henrex - go at it with their blades, so understood the core concept of it. And he wasn't that great. Which, implied that he had just got out of the academy, or he spent too long on those experiments of his.
Sat silently in a tree, not putting out any Reiatsu to be sensed by, and down wind so even if he had a nose like Mirja's, smelling her would be difficult, she watched him push on, and it was pretty interesting. What he lacked in skill he made up for in drive. Not an incredible degree of stamina, but good for one of his skill level. Mirja herself could fight at peak for about a week solid before going to lie down. Unless she used her Heart's Kiai, but that was digression. Eventually, he stopped, had lunch, and then began again, and it was then that Mirja slipped down from her tree and landed in front of the kid.
"Hey. So, I watched you training and got bored and decided to come punch you. Don't worry, it'll be in a good manner, you will learn a lot from being punched by me"
