Now bringing her here was an interesting move for Qiang. Bringing Mirja to the world for the Sugiura as a sort fo apology. He remained calm and almost stoic as he walked back into his home. The kingdom was settled with Eastern style culture as far as the eye could see. The world was lit with lanterns and beautiful dresses among other things. The culture thrived and showed itself within their walls. They were almost like nomads to an extent. But something else prevented that would be the case. Qiang looked content and happy to see this. He would let the female see what was here and introduce her to each area. This was her first trip here into the world of their people. They were dressed in traditional cloth and garbs that fit the females and males well. She'd see people practicing movements for a martial art. Qiang walked over for a moment speaking as he corrected a stand. Adjusting the young man's form carefully as he moved. "Your external is good Kaido, but remember it's internal you want to master. The External is an illusion but a reality at the same time."

The male brought his hand up as a fist and bowed politely. Qiang patted his head as he walked away and let them continue. Qiang didn't care for disturbing the trade as he looked at Mirja. "Please feel free to trade here, we will take care of whatever you buy or purchase. " This place almost looked like a cross between an Arabian bazaar, but the Chinese culture overwhelmed that notion. The way things were built and designed with such noticed desire and practice. This was a place where she could see the what Qiang considered his Atlantis. He'd keep it from sinking too without a doubt. No matter the amount of his own blood he lost to do it. He was perhaps the most driven King of the group. Though Kamui and Hans were excellent Kings as well in their own rights. Though the fact of the matter was simply he couldn't allow it to go. Something needed to be figured out where they stood on this front and that one.

Well, this was certainly a treat. An entirely new world, with new smells and new foods and new plants and new people and new everything. She wondered if there was any martial cultivators here, if they had ever picked up the art of Tai Chi from way back when. It would be interesting to see, and to discover any of their rankings and to ponder if they had anything above Yu-Shan. They seemed very long-lived as with all spiritual beings, and rather enlightened in martial activity. But that was for later, when she talked to Qiang about that. For now she was just going to explore.

"Ohh, you'd be surprised at my internals, Qiang. They aren't exactly what you'd expect. I picked up a trick along the road and used it to it's fullest extent, really got me going on the whole 'different wolf entirely' front as you might expect" She told him, giving a coy grin. Ohh, if people could see beneath the skin without cutting her open, it would be a marvel. Her structure, after the use of Body of Clay and Nova Lupus, was alien to the extreme. And she loved it.

And there was things to buy as well. She examined them for any trace of Elixiers, or Soulforged equipment, and also for anything herbal. If she could make a superior tea by trading with the Sugarians she had no problem with that. She was in the market for the best tea in the universe, after all.
"I'd probably gather stuff myself to know what I am dealing with before starting to buy anything. I don't want to throw your money away aimlessly in experiment I can subsidize myself. I will take the offer when I know what I am buying, but until then I will keep it in your purse"

Qiang merely remained quiet as he lifted his arms into a comfortable position behind his back. Slowly letting his digits hold themselves. As he walked next to her letting her explore as she pleased. He'd heard what she was speaking of. The different way her body was internal. " Sugiura's are known for powerful magic's almost our entire species can use them. I cannot, however, due to certain circumstances and thus I created this martial art to compensate for it. " He spoke calmly as though he felt more at home here. Qiang did truly lack all forms of magic and those that would wield them. He didn't have that prowess, what he did have was the internal energy of his martial art. That mastery of what was lingering beneath the surface of things. It was hard to see sometimes and even harder to locate. But it did sleep there for most to find and not at the cost of their magic. Qiang's breathing slowed for a moment as he touched his eye. Remembering when his father ripped both his eyes out was stressful.

Being blind for that entire day was a rough thing. He didn't know pain till that happened. He'd heard the female mention money as she went through the market. "We do have a currency, but most markets like trading instead. It allows for them to keep a good market and goods going." Qiang said explaining the system for trading things for certain objects. She would find exotic herbs and many things of different natures. Meats and vegetables of different cultures from their province in this place. Qiang merely remained close and watchful of his guest. He didn't believe in leaving someone alone unattended in his Kingdom. His guards seemed content with the situation and left. This was, of course, a fine thing in his mind. Being alone for a change without people bothering him. The people seemed happy and content here in the world around them. This was a true haven of culture and practice with art and other things showing along the pathway.

Some equipment made through Sugiura Magic was on the market along with many different things. Elixirs and several kinds of special herbs that perform many tasks. Each one was special though Qiang wasn't an expert on that sort of stuff. His people's culture fascinated him a great deal. But it was for a reason most did not expect. Qiang wasn't skilled at Herbs or everything like others. After a thousand years of life, he was only good at a single thing. Being a warrior who fought on the front line battlefields.

Mirja used her nose to smell what meats and what herbs would go with each other. She was, after all, going to be making dinner tonight and she wanted to make sure that it was a good dinner, not hampered by her inexperience with the dishes that she had no idea about. It would be the best dish ever~! Like the best day ever but with food.

"Magic, huh? My race is pretty well know for it's magic as well. Kido is quite the thing if you know what you are doing with it. But I was never able to use that, so I had to rely on my martial arts to get anywhere. And that reliance brought me to the edge of awesome with said Martial Arts. And I found a few other cool tricks to help me along the way" She said, spawning Lady Caliburn for Qiang to admire. Mirja made sure the roof was tall enough to house the mighy woman before spawning her. And, it seemed that there was no Cultivation stuff around, at least nothing that was overt and out there. There was a few things that smelled like they might be able to be turned into something good for her persuit of a Cultivation Technique though. With the new gem she had stored in her, she wanted to see just how well it would work together.

"So, what am I to trade for these stuff? I can give them my time. It is abundant for me, and I am not known as the Walking Library of Fists for the fun of it. Well, not excuslively for the fun of it. I oversee training the young heroes in the Guild of Heroes. Making sure they can actually do stuff and not just pop their clogs and blegh"

It was a nice experience seeing someone else with the same troubles. Qiang smiled as he brought his right hand around and smiled. " My problem is sort of a two fold issue. First, is these here." He touched his eyes softly as he looked at the female now. His eyes weren't the normal type even for their people. He'd developed them not by choice or even by his desire. Qiang could see the safest cognitive route in most cases. Which meant he also saw the more dangerous and risky choices as well. Some believed this was a type of reading the future. But the fact was it wasn't the face. "The second is, well here let me show you. " Behind Qiang's frame 26 cards like images appeared, they were designed in a tarot card like fashion. Some were dark with shadows consuming them. This meant they'd yet to be unlocked completely or even having awoken to the power that lay beneath the surface for them. "I was born with what I call the Tarot's Heart, so I have twenty-six possible powers and weapons of a scared nature sleeping within me."

That was a good enough explanation of his course among other things. He listened to her about trading as he smiled softly. She was new to their culture so this was acceptable. "You seem to forget the value in certain things Mirja. A good story can be traded, people enjoy them. Time is indeed a worthy thing because it mean's you have good tales. Also, artifacts from your world have a value here as well. Our people are nomads for a sort, we trade in what we can. While we do have coins and other such things. A value of a good story goes a long way in our beliefs. " He said smiling as he knew many people here would love to hear about her world. Or of the trials and tribulations of her culture. Or to hear about her techniques and how she obtained them. Many different things of value were in Mirja's arsenal of trading. This wasn't a fact up for a dispute or a fight in reality. Mirja had plenty to offer and give to those seeking it.

Sometimes you just had to be aware of just the value of a story. Like a song, it can have a value of a million coins. A story can teach so much more in so many ways. Education and so many things were of value here. "Never discount experience and knowledge either Mirja, you've got them to trade as well..New formula's for elixirs or herbs we've not heard of. Refinement processes too, this is a world of culture or at least my home is." He said unable to speak for the other Kingdoms. He was proud of his people for adopting this method of trading among all other things.

Mirja looked to Qiang, and saw that he had a few tricks of his own. First were his eyes, that were pretty impressive to begin with. However they did what they did, they did it pretty dam well, but he still called it a problem. Maybe he didn't like seeing everything. Probably made things boring. And his tricks with the floating cards was something else. Probably a problem because it needed waking up in some manner that was harder than just a shake. Things were always hard to wake up when they didn't want to be woken up, or when they were flying cards behind someone's back that represented powers.

"Ohh, I doubt I've got anything for base level herbalism that you don't already have better. I've got a few things I could teach, a few things that I could tell, but that's kind of the other side of the coin. I don't think you have enough to buy that if I got everything here in return. It's kind of expensive, you know?" She gave him a teasing wink and then picked up a few herbs that would work the best. If she mashed them to a pulp and then congelted them into a pill, she could get some profound insight into finishing up her Cultivation Technique. These herbs were new to her, but the smell and the feel drove her.

"So, what are we looking for? Because if we are trading in the metaphysical, I believe myself to be one of the richest people here. Not entirely sure what value I would assign to what bit of thing I got in my head, but it's all good at the end of the day, if you want something more expansive than a few herbs I can expand my shopping list"

He wondered what she sought here mostly, what impression did she desire to make? This was a new world a place where a value could be put on anything. Qiang smiled softly as he listened and remained quiet. He was a ruler and this was the job of a King after all. To be cool-headed, though he could openly say he messed up. Occasionally he was rather poor at the entire gig as a King. But it didn't make him try any less if anything. No this made Qiang try harder to be someone else. He ran off and did things often, he was sure his sworn brother had heard about it by now. But his brother dealt with politics while Qiang did other things. He worked hard as a King to improve on mistakes and errors he made. Choices weren't something made lightly. He couldn't simply vanish or disappear completely regardless of the void beneath things. He wouldn't mind waking up his powers eventually. Perhaps Mirja could provide him the said he desired. To awaken more of the Tarots that slept. Currently, at his disadvantage, he wasn't likely to do so.

"On my end, I would wonder if you'd mind helping me awaken these sleeping Tarots sometime." He said softly, he had one in mind in particular. He wouldn't tell her the exact reasoning of why this was the case. But Qiang knew well enough that this had a value above average. As for the value, he began pondering what would be valued. "Keep in mind our techniques for doing things may be different. Not as effective in some cases, if you give a man a fish he can eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish he can eat for a life time. That is our practice here, or at least it's this humble King's opinion of it." He said offering a smile as he shrugged his shoulders. Everyone had to figure things out at their own pace. Qiang watched the artisans and how they worked their brushes. They were skilled craftsmen and capable of doing such capable things. Qiang was only capable of a couple things. Studying his person of interest and getting ready.

Politics and such things were a tiresome illusion that kept even those like him busy.

Mirja's mind was working through the step-by-step understanding of making herself profound Elixiers. They were different, not meant to stimulate power but to bring insperation and understanding about one's self, great drive to create new techniques if you could handle the flow that came with it. Sometimes the flow just took you under and you got nothing out of it except the equivilent of an acid trip and a sore head in the morning when you woke up from it.

"Hmm, sure, I can punch you in the head and see what falls out. I'm pretty good at that, after all" She told Qiang, not wanting to pocket the herbs because she hadn't really paid for them yet but it was tricky to understand the way this all worked. So she picked up a fair few more herbs and some meat that smelled sweet, and handed over a book in return. What was inside it was a lot more valuble than what she had picked up, in Mirja's eyes, but the need to comprehend the writings within before being able to work on what it said, reduced the price sufficently that she felt it was a clear trade.

"Ahh, but fishing is not a simple thing. You have to learn how to handle the rod, how to spot a shawl of fish, how to pull in the fish without snapping the line, and if you are in a boat, you need to know how to row, how to keep a boat steady against a vigerous fish, and how to prevent it from flapping out of the boat once you have reeled it in. And you have to know if there are any predators around that you might hook. Big ones that can rip the rod right out of your hand, or just take a chunk out of your boat"

He smiled as the female offered to give his head a good whack or two. That was a welcome course to handle of course for him. He could easily manage to deal with that circumstance. Qiang's kingdom seemed to lack much pollution among other problems. But she was right in that regard as he heard her take the metaphor very literally. He began laughing almost hysterically as he fought to catch his breath. He knew she wouldn't know what was enjoyable about it to him. This was normally him doing what she was, this was what it looked like from the other side. Such a strange thing to experience that he couldn't help laughing. Normally his sworn brother through these at him without end. Making them out to be things that just kept going. He caught his breath and spoke now as his ribs felt better. "Forgive me, it's just strange to see someone else do that. But that Mirja is what we call trial and error. " He said with a smile as he leaned on the nearby wall for support now. Qiang could only observe, for now, everything was up to her.

His duty was to be a proper escort and person of his Kingdom. "You know, I envy them and you somewhat. I don't have the talent for things outside of my origin. Creating and being gifted in the arts has always escaped me. I"m not graceful or fluid enough to do it, even with years of practice. So the best I can do is watch and appreciate the skills on display." Qiang said calmly as he observed the people. They were fascinating and lived outside his world. He was a King known for a singular occupation. He was a Warrior within their culture of the highest caliber. This was all he'd accomplished, but even with that. The limits and divide between the cultures were massive. Qiang could only prepare and train to fulfill the job left to the last of the Li Clan. That was to protect and defend the Eastern Kingdom's people. To provide and fight for whatever future they desired without holding back. The Suigura needed to step in further and become more.

More than met the eye of those around them. They could not linger with no connection to the outside. For he believed in his core someday, those who remained in their old home. Would come for them here and finish the job.

Suddenly, laughter. Mirja looked around to see what was hilarous, and then to the shopping that she had just bought, all wrapped up neatly for use later. And then back to Qiang because she couldn't see anything that was going on that would cause such laughter. She had occasionally burst into laughter like that for some terrible pun or another, like that time she had beaten that golem of ash and smoke, and then claimed that the summoner's plan had gone 'up in smoke'. So she just let him laugh at whatever was so incredibly laugh worthy until he calmed down, and claimed it was strange, to see someone else do 'that'. Not sure she wanted to get into what 'that' was in case she had gone cross-eyed or something, she just gave him a smirk.

"Trial and Error is sometimes good. But if you error in the trial of river monsters, then you'll be left looking at your side thinking 'did I always have a massive chunk of my side missing?' so you have to know what to trial and error and what to learn from another person in it's entirety. Checks and balances of the world, you know?" She said, before raising her purchases up.

"So, you got anything that resembles a kitchen around here? I can make me something and you something and we can then go dance through medows of lillies or whatever it is Kings do when they are off duty" she clearly had little experience with royalty, and it was obviously from choice. "You know, I don't know if it is something of your race that means you really can't learn anything different, but if it is just a lack of ability, then you only need to find a proper teacher. A man - or woman - who knows what they are really doing isn't the best teacher. You want a man who has a good idea what is going on and can put it forward in a manner that can be learned, rather than the best man in the universe who hasn't a foggiest how to explain it"
