Advocates Of Corruption

Spoiler:

  • Item Name: Void's Eye
  • Item Type: Weaponry
  • Used For: Support
  • Class: C
  • Item Description:

    Spoiler:

The Void's eye is weak, but useful advocate. It takes the form of a small sphere that can easily fit in the palm of your hand or a pocket. It somewhat resembles the size of an eye but is a little bit larger. It is made of strong metal but feels hollow at the same time. The exterior is a pale white color with a black marking etched into the front. The marking takes on the shape of a skull with some artistic liberty thrown in. It's plain looking compared to the others.

The Eye feels hollow because the inside of it houses an immensely large void, a stasis field of sorts that suspends everything inside. Everything inside this void is frozen in time and space, never to be awakened until released from the prison. It's fairly large, able to store an almost endless amount of material. However, it's impossible to know how it looks on the inside, as soon as something enters this void? They too will become frozen, time resuming for them only after they've left it. Things are drawn into it through a gateway that can be created with the advocate. Its a black rift used to both absorb and expel things from the pocket dimension.

The power of the Void's eyes is a transporter, a way to store things temporarily and release them somewhere else. As its only purpose, it is fairly weak compared to the others of its kind but has numerous applications. It could store prisoners, objects, even attacks and techniques. Whatever is placed inside will remain in its current state indefinitely until released by the holder. This could be used in any number of ways, from transporting an entire army undetected to holding an attack from a subordinate to unleash upon an unsuspecting foe and turn the tides of battle! While contained in the void, it is nearly impossible to detect what is stored inside except for by the holder. While it might be done by some of the most advanced techniques that can unravel space itself, it's tied closely together to the same technique used by Ruvik to conceal his presence in a host. This makes it exceptionally difficult to track. But it does have numerous limits.

Firstly, anything stored inside must meet one of two requirements. if it is an attack or person, or even something in a person's possession, they must be willing to be drawn into the void or have their technique or property stored inside it; The exception to this is that the subject is unable to resist it. This could apply to inanimate objects with no creator or defeated opponent's or allies that have fallen in battle. This makes it exceptionally useful for capturing prisoners or rescuing soldiers, as their state is preserved inside. This means they won't bleed out or regain their energy while captured.

Secondly, while the void can hold an immense amount of people or material, it can only hold one collective at a time. This means that it can't draw anyone in if there is already something inside until it had been cleared out. So if one person is trapped in the void, nothing can be absorbed until that person is released. However, if an entire army or pile of defeated foes is gathered all at once, the eye can draw all of them into the void together so long as it was empty beforehand. This also means only one technique or power can be stored inside at a time, since drawing in more than one would likely result in the two powers conflicting with each other. This can only apply to abilities that have a physical presence, such as a cero, kido,, or things of that nature. It can not store passive or supplementary abilities unless they are delivered through some kind of tangible form.

This advocate is unique in that unlike the others, Ruvik can directly influence it in a way. While not able to control it, it is able to store segments of his body, techniques of his creation, and so on for a vassal to use in the right situation. While still limited, it can be quite useful to have even that minor level of interaction. Overall this leaves the eye as one of the weakest, but also one of the most versatile and useful advocates.

  • Item Name: Ourobose
  • Item Type: Weaponry
  • Used For: Support
  • Class: B
  • Item Description:

    Spoiler:

The Ourobose is a small advocate the size of a bracelet or wristband. It takes the form of a small golden statue of a snake devouring its own tail. its size can adjust to comfortably fit the wrist or appendage of the holder and can only be used when worn on some form of an appendage. Despite looking harmless enough, it holds one of the strongest abilities of an Advocate to date.

The Ourobose has the power to devour time...Or rather specifically, a single person's time. When used, the serpent will take another bite out of the tail, uncomfortable tightening around the holder's wrist or other appendages. This happens every time it is used and can be very dangerous for the user. The first time will just be uncomfortable, restricting blood-flow and bruising the skin. The second time? It will become painful, tightening dangerously around the appendage is it affixed to and starting to lightly crush it. This can render the limb numb and unable to function properly. And the third time? The artifact will tighten enough on the user to shatter bones and muscle and cut off all blood-flow, completely incapacitating the limb for the remainder of the thread. This also prevents it from being used again until the battle is over and it can be removed.

But for that cost? The user is given a terrifying power. By willing it, the user can -completely erase- a small window of time's effect on someone or something. This window is bound to the immediate past, only applying as far as the prior post, or several minutes in liquid time. But when applied? Everything up to their prior post will be artificially deleted in regards to the target. If they were injured? All injuries would vanish. If they were healed? They would return to their former state. Any energy lost or gained is undone, any cooldowns set in motions or ticking down are voided (AKA if they used a technique in the voided post, its CD would be negated or if a CD is in place, the post wouldn't count toward it. Skill timers will also not count the negated post). Poisons that entered the body would no longer be there. This is so potent that it can even be used to reverse death itself if a person only died in an immediately prior post. Its as if up to the prior post never happened! That is with three exceptions. The affected will still retain all memory of it, even with all effects gone, and their position in space, as a result, will be unchanged, so they'll still be standing as they were when this power is used. And lastly, the advocate will not affect itself. So even if used on the one holding it, any damages to it or drawbacks incurred will remain.

Due to the immense power of this, it has an extensive cool down as well as additional drawbacks to what is mentioned above. Each use of it must have a minimum of a 5 post waiting period before it can be used again. In addition? Every time the effect is applied, the serpent will drain an -immense- amount of energy from their body. This is even enough to slowly lower their tier. After each use, the holder's tier will be reduced by half a level, with the third and final possible use reducing their tier an entire bar. (So a 0-3 would become 0-4+, then 0-4, then 0-5. ) While a hefty drawback, the potential to delete an outcome upon yourself is terrifying and something anyone would know to be cautious of.

  • Item Name: Inugami
  • Item Type: Weaponry
  • Used For: Offensive
  • Class: A
  • Item Description:

    Spoiler:

The Inugami is a lone sword, a katana forged in crimson iron that gives off an eerie red glow. It has been forged from the blood of a thousand tortured souls, their anguish and pain flowing through it, filling anyone that holds or even stands close with the echoes of their screams and dread. It's a long blade, not much out of the ordinary despite its unusual red color scheme and the immense of corrupt energy often flowing from it. But despite a mundane appearance, like the others, it has a very powerful ability granted to the one that holds it.

Inugami has the power of cursed wounds. Cursed wounds is an effect the blade has on anything it cuts, inflicting a very potent curse that will rekindle and reinforce itself every time the blade cuts through an object or person. In essence, any wound inflicted will be fated to return to any surface very quickly. So if a hole were made in a wall and it was refilled with cement or even replaced with new material? within minutes, a new hole would form in the exact same spot. It is far easier to notice with people. If a wound is inflicted after the curse has been given to a person? Any and all efforts to undo their injuries through any method will be met with an agonizing fate.

Say the blade was to cut off an arm. If the affected person regenerates a new one, regrows it, attaches another or what have you? The new limb will be filled with nothing but immeasurable agony and start to decay rapidly while attached to their body. By the end of the post? The new limb would have fallen off as a mass of molten flesh and dust bones. The pain is agonizing, able to adversely affect a target throughout a post while in play and even extend to parts of their body that aren't directly affected by the curse. This isn't limited to wounds inflicted by the sword either! Once the blade has made even a cut on someone's flesh? Any further damage they take will be cursed to return to them until they either break it through some other power or the advocate's power is sealed at the end of a battle. This is far worse than just the feeling of the regained flesh decaying, but a force that makes the cursed experience all the agony and anguish of the thousand souls that were tortured to death in its inception.

Depending on a persons pain tolerance, it can be a severe hindrance to them for the entire post they attempted to regenerate or were healed.

Beginners will not just be paralyzed, but completely knocked out by the sheer anguish flooding through them.

An adept would be completely stunned for the post, unable to do a thing but shrug off unconsciousness.

An advanced would suffer severely, their speed, strength, mental deduction, focus, and weapon skill all reduced by one level for the duration of the post.

Even a master will see some substantial consequences as their tolerance is pushed to its limit. Their mental deduction., focus, and weapon skill reduced by one level for the duration of the post.

Finally, only a Grandmaster in pain tolerance will be safe from any adverse effects from this torture. While it still may be painful, their sheer ability to shrug off agony will allow them to be free of extra adverse effects.

In exchange? The person using this blade makes a similar sacrifice. So long as the user wields Inugami and the curse is in effect on any number of targets? They will be unable to regenerate or be healed from their own injuries. They won't experience the same painful curse, but will just never recover in the first place. The blade of agony will force both sides to endure that punishment, bleeding out until one of them finally falls.

[adm]I've overviewed this and it seems like everything is alright. If it's abused, I'll go ahead and revoke this, but based on how you create powers I doubt it will get out of head. So I'll approve it. [/adm]
