ENTER THE EYE OF THE STORM
Artist: Nintendo - Song: Ultra Necrozma's Theme
While he had lowered his weapon, Henrex had by no means dropped his guard. He was still ready to respond at a moment's notice, it was simply that signifying the end of his attack, allowing himself a brief moment's rest, along with him being able to use this small downtime in order to analyze the situation and see what his next move would be. Thus, when there was a sudden explosion of heat and destruction, Henrex had immediately held his sword up -- not that it would have done anything -- as he too was overtaken by the blinding red that flooded the Demon World.
His eardrums felt like they were going to burst, his body felt like it was being crushed by a mountain, and the air had been knocked from his lungs. While he was rather dazed, Henrex did still possess the will to summon his Personal Tulpa once more, as the purple, skin-like energy slid over his body and the rib-cage of the embodiment of a sword formed around him.
Acting quick and channeling his influence over the air, Henrex began to lighten his fall as he caused a wind current to pick up and slow his descent. Nevertheless, he still crashed. Albeit shaky, the man quickly rose to his feet, coughing and spitting out a glob of blood. Henrex took a brief glance at himself, assessing the situation. A broken arm, several burns of varying degree, other bad internal and external injuries, only somewhat able to stand, and running low on energy.
At this point, he had little options left.
As his body began the healing process, Henrex quickly wove a simple seal in order to keep the protrusions compact within his back, putting his hands together and using Sha in order to begin healing, even with the wings within a seal. After this was said and done, and Henrex could feel Erna's remaining energy spike and feel her presence growing closer, he acted quickly. Putting his hands together once more, he suppressed his energy as he created a clone before leaping away.
Thus, as Erna lunched forward, reaching the clone's stomach and successfully activating her spell, the clone's movements were drastically reduced, preventing him from reacting as quickly to her next assault. However, rather than attempt to avoid it -- the clone simply...fell into Erna's claws, impaling itself, before exploding into a powerful burst of lightning that would attempt to give a jolt to Erna's nervous system and render her immobile -- at least, for the next few moments.
In these next few moments -- while he wasn't as close to Erna as he had been, he was still able to pick up and hear what she had said, before the man simply held his sword in his hand, unleashing his power once more. Quickly pulling out a small vial of blood, Henrex quickly took a drink of the vial, exhaling as the magical effects of Deep Blood, the reward given to him after his victory over Stefan Soan in the Greece Tournament so long ago, began channeling through his body. His wounds began to heal -- but, most importantly of all -- a quarter of his energy had been restored.
Grasping his sword with both hands and putting the vial away, Henrex's gentle voice echoed across the Nation of Thoughts."Then I will."
Thunder rumbled as a lightning bolt, white as snow, fell from the heavens as all the blacks on his person with a beautiful blinding white. Powerful gusts of wind flew from his body, and lightning danced across his skin and hands. As Henrex opened his hand, another white bolt manifested. Every ounce of potential and power was being presented to Erna -- in the form of his Bankai. The power to destroy a continent, in his hands.
Grasping the bolt, Henrex charged forward at Erna at Mach 4 speeds. Lightning ran through his body, boosting his movement and reaction speeds immensely, something that could allow Henrex to slip in front of Erna. With a single thrust that exerted all of his power, physically and spiritually, Henrex would release this thoroughly empowered Resolve Strike in the attempt to follow through with what Erna said.
As, at this peak of power, Henrex had nearly all of his focus and determination being dedicated to a single task -- yet, there was also that endless sense of hunger that burned from his demonic half. So, if this attack were to connect, there would be very serious damage that would be had from it. A colossal explosion came from the Vicara Plane as lightning spewed in all directions, likely leaving Erna with severe, third-degree burns, broken bones, torn muscle, possibly even ruptured organs as Henrex unleashed a final attack, meant to end this battle.
So, as the dust cleared, the results would be known.
