Sueki Profile

中空アーチャー

Basic Information

» Name: Juliet Fahrney

» Titles: The Living Zombie

» Age: 15

» Gender: Female

» Affiliation/Rank:

None

» Appearance Written:

Juliet is a fascinating creature to behold, too many one would consider her a walking corpse of decaying flesh and bone, with sharp white teeth capable of tearing through even the thickest of clothing and piercing red eyes. In terms of body composition she has an hourglass figure with a rump many would find distracting.

Well as a matter of fact their right...sort of in the case of Zombies within popular media and culture everyone has portrayed them differently, take for example George A Romero's most influential film that started the zombie genre "Night of the Living Dead ".

The movie portrayed them as reanimated corpses thatcraved human flesh and despite being slow moving and easy to kill their numbers are what made them a force to be reckoned with. Jessica herself does take traits from both and new itterations of zombies, from the obvious things such as being a  reanimated corpse to more difficult changws such her style of hunting down enemies.

I. Personality Traits

» Personality:

When her abilities are inactive, Din appears as a fairly ordinary individual, albeit one with very odd tastes in attire. She's a bit too thin and pale, but not to the point of a second glance, with soft grey eyes and splashes of red mixed into her black hair. She prefers simple hooded cloaks, either black or white. Her voice is soft and quiet, but carries extremely well when she wants it to.

The necrotic energy that courses through her produces extremes of appearance. While not agitated (ie. with low or no use of her abilities), it halts her body's degradation entirely. When called on too much, however, her form begins to wither away and become increasingly skeletal and atrophied, eventually becoming little more than a mummy that can still walk. The exception is her face, which takes on a cool, statue-like appearance; no less lovely, but the distant, cold beauty of the night sky, not a living visage. This is mostly visual; despite sometimes looking like she should be crumbling to dust, the energy maintains her movement and vitality as if she were the age she normally looks.

While gentle and pleasant to be around, Juliets aura is slightly unsettling to living beings who don't take the time to grow accustomed to it. Something about it brings to mind the fight-or-flight response just slightly to the fore. This isn't enough to actively worry someone, but it makes first impressions difficult, and thus she has few friends with a pulse. Spirits are another matter entirely. Juliet enjoys conversing with non-hollow spirits, particularly pluses. Spirits feel more at ease in her aura, making her more palatable to be around for shinigami than most humans (and, unfortunately, literally more palatable for hollows).

» Likes:
As a person, she likes night rather than day, with clear, star-filled skies. Silence is key, she prefers silence and calmth to gather her thoughts and think. Big crowds are something she rather dislikes, such as large, open spaces. This is commonly referred to as agorophobia. Among her notable dislikes is also flirting, she dismisses it, plays it off because she has no idea why anyone would want to be romantically involved with her.

But deep down, while she won't admit it, all she looks for is someone to console her, stick with her through thick and thin. A companion that helps her

Vegetables/Fruit: Growing up in a Amish enviorment with a family that can mostly be described as hard-working but enjoyable, the food there are naturally hand grown with the sweaty hands of her parents and the generations of amish before them and so on and so forth. Her most favorite amish food is schnitz pie a food thats made from dried apples.

» Dislikes:
Sunlight: Since Juliet was little she was diagnosed with photophobia,a condition that made her eyes light-sensitive causing signals the retina sends to the brain are interpreted as pain or discomfort. The stronger the light source, the greater the discomfort. In her case Juliet has severe discomfort and pain when her eyes are exposed to natural or man-made light sources, outdoors or indoors. When exposed she experiences a burning or itching sensation, wincing or squinting in the presence of  light, and excessive tear production.

Long exposure too Heat:

Like all Sueki they are extremely vulnerable in in sunlight, and prolong exposure can mean the end of their lives. However there's another thing Ulfred has to worry about and that's the process of Putrefaction, which is the process in which the body decomposes and longer times means a more gruesome scene especially since Juliet is a walking corpse. It follows a predetermined timetable in nature and after the first 36 hours the neck, the abdomen, the shoulders and the head begin to turn a discoloured green. This is then followed by bloating – an accumulation of gas that is produced by bacteria toiling away within this bloating is most visible around the face where the eyes and the tongue protrude as the gas inside pushes them forward. In hot temperatures dramatically speed up the decaying process.

Stereotypes of zombies:

While she does enjoy the modern interpretations of her undead companions the way humans give them unique abilities abd conecepts that make them complex via "Walking Dead" "Z Nation" and even "Last of Us" but even she has a bit of gripe regarding zombies especially those survival-supremacists who believe that zombies are just mindless beasts whose only purpose is to spread the disease and consume human flesh. Human think their lives are difficult, they wouldn't know difficult if it hit them in the face, being a zombie is literally hard-work. Juliet has to make sure her body is properly taken care of as far as she has to remain in the bathtub complete with nothing but ice to slow down her decomposing; plus the fact of having idiots walk along her gravestone while she's trying to rest.

Character History

» History

While Juliet's family does share the belief of most Protestants that salvation is an unearned gift from God, they don't believe that faith automatically guarantees salvation. They reject the belief common to other Protestant denominations that anyone can be certain that his salvation is guaranteed. They consider such certainty to be arrogant.

Everything was made by hand and those who can demonstrate proficent work without any trouble are considered godly, and some technological advancements have been considered undesirable because they reduce the need for hard work. Machines such as automatic floor cleaners in barns have historically been rejected as this provides young farmhands with too much free time.

At the age of 15 the girl was allowed to leave to experience the "city life" and while her father didn't want his precious little girl to get hurt or hell end up pregnant by those disgusting city boys taking advantage of her kindness and curious nature.

But he couldn't let his daughter stay here her entire life, after all she was ready to become a young woman and this would be a test of not only trust but commitment as well..reluctantly Juliet's father allowed her to head off but not before giving her a wooden cross to symbolize that both him and god will always be there for her in times of need.

The girl smiled and gave her dad a big hug before closing the door

I. Equipment

» Equipment: [If your character has any equipment, then you should put it in this section. Otherwise, if they don't, do not fill in this section and you can leave it blank.]

I. Natural Abilities & Skills

» Natural Abilities:

Battle Strategist:

Ulfred has complete and utter control of Juliet's brain and since he's connected he provides his own nutrients to the parietal lobe wbich normally functions in processing sensory information regarding the location of parts of the body as well as interpreting visual information and processing language and mathematics.

Unusual Healing Factor:

Ulfred has an ability called Necroticdecay" in which Ulfred strips nutrients from other parts of her body and use that to repair muscles and even bone giving her the advantage of lasting long in a fight, however like all injures the healing process varies  depending on the severity of the injury and where it was targeted. For example, a simple tendon being ruptured by a sword slice takes 2-3 posts to fully repair and major organs such as the heart, brain, lungs take 5 posts to fully heal.

Autolytic Decay: Ulfred begins to slows release of digestive enzymes from her cells' lysosomes - slowing decomposition of corpse,

it also prevents anaerobic microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and even maggots from digesting valuable proteins slowing her decomposition.

Extremely Durable and High Resillience towards Pain:

The initial symbiosis with Ulfred has caused Juliet's Integumentary System to harden with calcium meaning that her hair, skin, and even nails are hardened to an immense degree making even a simple stab to the chest almost difficult.

While this makes Juliet a force to be reckoned with she isn't invincible, regarding knives they do make stabbing difficult  unless it is enhanced with either reishi, magic or another source of energy.

Also, since Juliet has characterstics of a zombie she is highly vulnerable to losing limbs and while she doesn't feel traditional pain she still suffers the same effects if she was still human, for example if she lost a leg she'd have to revert to either use cfunches and hop around or  part of Ulfred's body to create a replacement leg although completely made out of cartilage.

Strong Bones/Muscles:

Like all decomposing beings everytbing eventually becomes weak and rots away, in this case her teeth will decay and,due to the lack of moisture and the fast erosion atrophy of facial tissue, they are more likely to bleach and discolor quickly, like bones weathered in the elements. Like those bones, once weathered, they become more brittle and prone to cracking/damage. They become immediately needle sharp. Making them more capable of piercing flesh.

Frenzy Mode:

When Juliet hasn't had blood for three to four days she and Ulfred enter a frenzy state, similar to a zombie Juliet is running on pure adrenaline and loses sense of reasoning willing to attack anything or anyone in her vacinity.

She also gains a temporary speed boost which only lasts 2-3 posts, however while Juliet is faster, more hostile and cunning, she is ultimately more fragile. She can bleed out (major damage to the arteries of the neck, upper arms and legs can incapacitate them), and destroying the heart, lungs, spine or aorta can be instantly fatal.

I. Racial Abilities

» Racial Abilities:

  • Sueki Influence: Sueki do not retain the original Soul State, draw power in the form of chi or use demon powers or abilities. The previous character is wiped clean though may keep their previous personality, history and general appearance. If you wish to keep a similar theme then you may, but do note that some changes should be made to accommodate the Sueki blood now within them. A carbon copy of the previous character will not be approved.

  • Blood Rites

The Sueki live and die by the blood within their dark veins. Blood is not just a source of survival either. By taking blood and drawing certain patterns on surfaces, a Sueki can conjure a Blood Rite. These spells widen the strategic options a Sueki has in and out of combat. Upon finishing the blood drawing, the Sueki must then make contact with the pattern with their own blood and call upon the ability. This is often done by cutting the Sueki's own hand, feet etc and slamming them onto the pattern. A glow of darkness will emit from the bloody pattern and the spell is cast. Note that these patterns may be drawn upon the Sueki's own body. Some Sueki have even scarred their own bodies to create permanent patterns on their skin for easy access to these spells. The effects of a Blood Rite are increased in speed, size and strength (where applicable) based on the Sueki's Blood Rite skill. The actual pattern needed to be drawn is not specific and can be changed slightly so long as it fits the theme. The pattern also can be of any size, so long as it is distinguishable.

    • Kumopu: The ability to cause the target to burst into an artificial veil of shadows and dash to another targeted location within a few meters at extreme speeds and reform back to it's usual form. A sueki will always be able to move themselves regardless of size.

This ability when used upon themselves is the Sueki version of Shunpo and Sonido, granting them similar speeds but with a shadowy visual effect. During the moment the target affected is a shadow, they become physically invincible, cannot be interacted with and they cannot physically attack until they have left the shadowy state. The state will only last between the jumping point and landing point and can only last for a maximum of 1 second per Blood Rite skill level and the distance is 3m per skill level. Sentient creatures and the user can determine the full length of the Kumopu and force it to end early, but objects cannot themselves.

Kumopu is generated by drawing the shape of a Moon. The image cannot be symmetrical.

    • Kumitsu: The ability to cover the target in a veil of shadow that blocks off energy from the outside and from within. This allows anyones energy that has been covered in shadows to become undetectable by people outside of the veil. This gives off a visible aura of darkness that hides their appearance so it's rather obvious that they are there. However, if used at night or in very dark places, the affected target becomes very difficult to see as they blend into the darkness around them.

Kumitsu is generated by drawing any image, but then drawing a circle around it. The image cannot be symmetrical.

    • Kumotabi: The Blood Rite latches onto the darkness of shadows and of the night all around them, churning darkness around itself. After a few seconds of this the churning becomes an enveloping portal of shifting shadows that can expand and contract to hold multiple people. The size of the vortex is 10m in diameter for each skill level. A sueki may create this vortex on any surface but they must always remain in contact with it otherwise the portal will dissipate instantly, not function or pull anything in.

Once everyone has been highlighted by this ability, the user casts the Blood Rite a second time upon the pattern in the center of the vortex, channeling the vortex as the darkness pulls everyone within. This ability can suck in anything that is within the vortex and connected to anything that is currently in it so long as the entirety of the thing being pulled in can fit through the circumference of the vortex. This means a building could not be sucked into a small vortex just because the corner happens to be on it. The whole building must be able to fit and slip through. This does mean that verticly, there is no limit to how much that can fall inside.

Anybody that stands on the swirling darkness that isn't granted permission to travel by the user or denies their own desire to pass will not move at all when the vortex pulls.

During travelling, everyone falls through what seems to be an endless chasm of darkness lit by candles on black chandeliers. The distance required to make it to the other world is about a mile of falling. At the bottom is another swirling vortex that spits everyone out at the other end the other way up, so they emerge from the vortex head first and stop at their feet, standing. It is possible for a Sueki to force another person to move through the portal so long as their willpower is higher, but this requires triple the effort and can be fought against.

Kumotabi is generated by drawing a perfectly symmetrical image.

  • Blood Dependency:: All Sueki characters Are highly dependent on a constant intake of blood to survive. If this is ignored then the Sueki will start to age rapidly and turn to ash during the night of the 7th day without drinking blood. The withdrawal symptoms slowly start to becomes noticeable on the 3rd day and get worse leading up to the seventh when the Sueki will look about 100 years old. After drinking blood, the Sueki will feel full and no longer hungry then their body will gradually become more young over the same number of days they had not taken in blood.

The actual age it stops at changes depending on the person and can be altered as Sueki may have preferences on how they look. There are some that even choose to look elderly. Whilst blood starved, a Sueki will always feel hungry for anything so long as they do not drink blood.

  • Mental Strength: Sueki have strong bodies to handle their blood but also a decent amount of mental strength. This allows a Sueki to last much longer than a human when faced with dizziness and effects that instill mild mental weakness.

  • Child of the Night: Being outside in the light of the moon or covered in natural darkness and shadow enhances the Sueki's body. This allows a Sueki to react faster, move quicker, think more rapidly and generally become much more aware and agile than if the sun was out. This includes the shadowy veil of Kumitsu. Training and fighting in the moonlight or dark places enhances their potential and growth.

  • Dark Vision: Sueki are able to see in the dark. Everything a Sueki see's becomes black and white in darkness, allowing them to notice more when others cannot but also never lose sight of the shadows around them. Sadly, if a Sueki looks directly at a bright light then it shall momentarily blind them. Beyond this, Sueki are able to use darkness to track movement by focusing their mind on their prey. Moving in darkness is like being caught in a spiderweb to a Sueki. The stronger the Sueki is, the larger scope their influence will be.

  • Solar Frailty: Sueki have a very big weakness: The sun. They cannot come into contact with solar energy or sunlight otherwise the ageing process within their bodies starts to rapidly react and they will die within ten minutes (or say 20 of the sueki's posts). This makes it difficult for Sueki to fight or do anything while the sun is out and have a disadvantage against solar based characters. (Hit a Sueki with sunlight 20 times and they die)

Fire, electricity and other non-sunlight abilities do not cause this effect. Thus, candles, light-bulbs etc do not age them. How your Sueki falls apart into dust is up to you, but ten minutes will ultimately kill them. This can occur faster in varying intensities of sunlight, and on which parts of the body are afflicted. Only the body parts being soaked in sunlight are affected and the rest of the body is fine. Looking directly at the sun will blind the Sueki for 24 hours.

  • Human State: This is not a form in the slightest. Sueki are capable of entering a sort of meditation that shrinks their fangs and reduces the prominence of their Sueki features so they appear to look like they have normal teeth, no horns, normal eyes etc. Upon close inspection, it will be noticable that their features are not exactly the same as a humans, but they can pass as a Human in most situations.

The Sueki also denies Night Energy access to their powers in this state of meditation. They can move and react as normal as though they were 5-5 tier humans but if they wish to use abilities they must stop meditating and return to their normal state.

Holding this state for too long eventually tires the user. They are still weakened by sunlight as normal and by revoking darkness to keep this form up, their aging process occurs more rapidly. The Human state is not recommended, but is there if necessary.

I. Bloodline

» Bloodline:

Corpse Eater Bloodline:

Tier 3

Visual Alterations: Corpse Sueki must include up to 2 of the following in all of their appearances: White, dark green or Gray Skin. Longer Fangs. Pointed Fingertips. No iris. Longer Tongue.

Urges: Your body demands more blood than the standard Sueki. You may also eat flesh to substitute for blood but it cannot be cooked and must be eaten raw. This does not have any ill side effects.

Self-Body control: Your body becomes a vessel in itself, allowing you to ingest things and choose not to digest them, then spit them up for later use. You may also deactivate your nerves, allowing you to feel no pain.

Insatiable Hunger: You are attracted to wherever there may be blood and flesh, even to places of high populations just because blood could be nearby. The Sueki is able to smell blood nearby. Learning to control your urges is wise, but not perfectible.

Tier 2

Blood Empowerment: By digesting blood and other bodily fluids that are not your own the Sueki becomes empowered granting them temporarily increased movement and attack speed.

Plague Bite: Your fangs secrete a venom that causes temporary nausea, dizziness and can even knock out your target if the difference in tier is 2 primary tiers or more.

Tier 1

Walking Dead: Your body can regenerate wounds and lost limbs so long as the brain remains in tact. The greater the wound, the longer the regenerative process takes up to a few minutes. Regenerating takes energy, so repeated use will exhaust the Sueki rapidly.

Woundletter: Being injured (so long as you can feel it) and injuring others causes you to enter a frenzy and force a blood empowerment.
