Danava Demon Profile
I. Basic Information» Name:
Calypso Asthavon» Age:
1+ year old; Appears as a young adult » Gender:
Technically every conceivable (and inconceivable) sex; Identifies as female» Affiliation/Rank:
Loyal to Asthavon Family/ Demon World at large » True Appearance Written:
Calypso was certainly a being that was born… Very different. Caly’s body is not a typical body grown from cells and a genetic code, but rather an energy-based body. In reality, Caly’s body is gigantic, but as of this time, she is unable to stabilize even a quarter of it in the real world; It requires too much energy to do so, and thus has to store majority of her body in her Conceptual World. She is able to summon more of her body into the real world, via the branch off point that is her eyes. Her eyes, in actuality, are containers for her soul, in which her body is pulled from. How her body moves and shapes is dictated by her thoughts; aside from instinctual movements, all of Calypso’s bodily actions are voluntary.
How her body forms has shown to be very strongly tied to her thoughts, for this is the reason why she possesses a human form, with features similar to those of her family, and has taken specifically a female shape; She’s used to the idea of females, and her family. This isn’t just skin deep, however. Aside from the veins that pump liquid energy from her incorporeal body, stemming from her eyes, and through her body to sustain herself, Caly doesn’t really need most organs, though she feels she needs a heart, lungs, a form of stomach cavity, and sexual organs.
How her body reacts to the world is very similar to nerves, still being able to feel pain and suffering, hot and cold, like any other being, which is why she doesn’t need it, her incorporeal mind that stretches the entirety of her body can easily be described as her “brain”, she just absorbs the entirety of anything she physically eats, eliminating the need for majority of her digestive system as she doesn’t produce waste, and she doesn’t have bones because her body can hold itself together just fine with her mind and stability in check.
Because of this total autonomy over her flesh, she is able to physically reject anything she feels she doesn’t wish to welcome into her body, effectively acting as her own immune system, however, it isn’t like she really has cells that diseases can destroy, or most organs that they afflict, so this more or less applies to harmful substances over tiny body destroyers.
In terms of improvement of physiology, Caly’s body is much like anyone else’s. If she wanted to strengthen herself, she would have to go through the same hurdles anyone else had to; she can’t tighten her muscles and instantly be able to chuck a building. Anything like that would be purely cosmetic and wouldn’t actually strengthen her, if anything it could prove to be more painful than helpful considering the strain required. Same thing applies to stamina, speed, etc. Her mind isn’t completely over her matter.
Calypso’s regeneration abilities are pretty straightforward for the most part; Her body typically closes her wounds first, and then works down into healing them just to prevent loss of fluid. Though, she is still able to feel the pain of the wound for some time, even if it’s gone. Be it remnants of the pain shining too strongly in her memories, or her body actually being a retainer of pain for longer than normal beings, is something she isn’t too sure of. » True Appearance Picture:
I. Personality» Personality:Child-like
Likely Calypso's most notable trait; The young demon views and interacts with the world with a child-like lense. She genuinely believes that somehow, some way, everything can come to be perfectly happy and cheerful, and works towards making such a thing reality. She does however realize how unrealistic the idea is, but she still pushes to it anyways. She also performs pretty kid-like behavior, such as being overly expressive with her body, easily becoming excited, having interests lying in watching children's television or playing with toys, and most notably, eating candy (Not desserts, just candy or chocolate.). Whenever you catch her happy, she has the brightest of looks in her golden eyes, and a great big smile, also probably doing something with her hands as she speaks. She is also very, very prone to goofing off or doing things she shouldn't be doing (To her ignorance, of course). Cali proves to also be very jokey or silly with those she derives comfort from.Loving Of All:
Tied with her childish nature and some deeply rooted events, Calypso can't help but love... Everyone. No matter how hideous they are in body, mind, or soul, she wants nothing more than to give everyone a great big hug, pat of the head, and say everything will be fine. She'd be very saddened if people tried to kill her, or if she witnessed death before her, hell even seeing people hurt makes her cringe. She sees a person, and sees them as a person, she sees them as 'human'. Though she heavily dislikes amounting everything to humans (since it's kind of an eyeroller to her that any intelligent being amounts traits of other creatures to be much alike themselves, and that seeing them in their natural form is unacceptable) it's far shorter than, 'Capable of thought, mind, and feeling, and is worthy of respect, a voice, and love'.Fearless:
Let's just say Calypso confronts a rather intimidating fellow. The common person would be afraid to approach this scary guy, probably a scary haircut, a gnarled face, tattoos? Whatever the common person would feel uncomfortable around. Calypso would just hop up to them casually, give them a great big smile, and say hello, probably strike a conversation with them. Calypso isn't afraid of people, Calypso is only afraid of what a person would do to her. She doesn't immediately see individuals as dangerous unless proven to be; just to make clear she can plenty recognize danger and react accordingly to such a thing. But she hates first impression judgement and tries to get to know someone before passing her thoughts, even then she wouldn't be cruel to someone and deny them the kindness she feels everyone has a chance to be given.Excitable
Tying very closely to her childish nature, after finally being able to be free of her fearful nature (or at least how terribly bad it was) from when she was a spawnling, Calypso has felt far more free to express her emotions. Another form of this expression would be excitement. Calypso has quite a copious amount of mental energy, obviously translated into physical, and thus, if she has the right trigger, the cutie can range from mild excitement to one comparable of a fleet of 2010 Justin Beiber fans (alright probably not that crazy but you get the point). Normally she goes and goes til she burns out, then goes at it again, but that's only if something's got her really excited. She also gets very mannerism heavy in body, such as hopping around, overgesturing, overly happy facial expressions, etc. Easily Entertained
Christ, jingling keys near her gets her interested in what the hell you're doing. Calypso is a very interest-sensitive person, always wanting to butt in and see what someone's doing, in order to keep her mind occupied. She is drawn to the smallest of things, hell, she would be entertained by insect turfwars if she were to catch sight of it. Due to her excitable nature, it would make sense that she could be entertained by damn near anything mentally stimulating. She's hardly ever bored since she likes to find an interesting element in even the most boring of things, sometimes bordering into things like the philosophy of paint drying for the sake of a wall looking pretty.Highly Empathetic
Due to the circumstances of her birth, and the many implications of being the Danava of Dreams and Nightmares, Calypso had gained rather profound empathy, only further channeled with her ability to read other's emotions. It's rather difficult for her to even consider harming people in most circumstances, having rather the compel to talk out the issue rather than actually engage in violence, however as of recent, she was taught in a rather hard way that violence was indeed necessary in some situations, but Cali still holds fast to the idea of peace. Such a trait as this is likely a key and motivator in veering her away from the commonly rather violent and destructive nature most of her royal relatives appear to bear, viewing such a thing almost like a curse due to how common the phenomenon of corruption seems to run in her bloodline.
Sea Of Voices, Yet Lonely
Calypso appears to have a sea of millions if not billions of additional consciousnesses living in her flesh. These consciousnesses take the form of the eyes that appear on her body and also compose some of her abilities as well. They appear as if they have minds of her own, except... This isn't quite true. They exist as a consequence of her birth, the horrible strain of being connected to many at once, just to be silenced, packed away, and diminished. They aren't actual people, rather constructs her mind created to deal with the effects of the strain, a plethora of empty personalities that behave as if human, but actually behave based off her own inner emotions, impulses, and mental prods. Since Cali freed some of her packed away power, they are able to plainly speak, but again, they merely are voices echoing her own emotions.
Calypso isn't very aware of this fact, in fact, she still treats them like they're individuals, even if they're simply husks created by her own mind at birth to cope with the stress it took to bring her into existence. A delusion, or simply lying to herself to keep her away from the truth, is unclear. Regardless, even if these exist within her flesh, even with all of these voices, she feels alone. When she is on her lonesome, when she is stuck with her own thoughts and mind, a gnawing feeling of empty exists. Whether this is the unconscious cries of her psyche to release the restraints she crashed onto herself upon birth or a lack of sensing others, is not aware to her.Bursts of High Energy
In the better of her moods, Calypso is rather energetic, or well capable of such. Her expression of excitement, when she actually is surrounded by those she feels comfortable towards, is actually very child-like and profound. The issue is that she often doesn't get to express such energy and instead buries it in her mind, swallowing it instead of constantly expressing and feeling it. Fear of judgment, fear of going too far, etc. are keys in why she doesn't often express this, at least not in the material world.
Within dreams, she feels far less restricted and is far more likely to be more spunky and curious, likely due to being in her element. Though these are more in little flourishes than a constant streaming of excitement and awe. She tries to keep herself contained because she is under the impression that if she got carried away, she'd commit questionable acts.Strong Conviction, Weak Action
Calypso actually is a very strongly convicted person with rather far-reaching goals. To aid demonkind (Though due to Khala, using Khalaism as a catalyst, and Algos as a primary source of pushing), to veer her mother and family away from the path of madness, and generally bring peace and comfort to many. The issues lie in her ability to do it, and her confidence to do such. Sometimes when she goes up for a task... She shrinks. Not literal shrinkage but, she's restrained. Though she possesses the strong desires to fix things, to make things better, to love everyone and everything... Desires are just the dreams in the winds of consciousness if you don't possess the strength of character to execute them.
As stated before, Cali's main problem is her level of restraint on herself. This restraint, this fear, is what prevents her from really going all out, in power and in mind. She certainly does have the power to aid others even if it is not at it's fullest, but she herself has fallen under the belief that she does not have the ability to do so. When she looks at a daunting task, she is hit with thoughts of "I can't do this", or "What if I mess it up?". Such thoughts make her retreat to try another day.
Though recently, she has been forcing herself to do more, to think more, to pull away from the doubt, but some fear within her still exists... She feels as if, she's afraid of herself at times.Sense of Guilt
As pre-established, Calypso is very fearful of upsetting, offending, or otherwise driving people away. But it doesn't stop there, she feels guilt for many things, regardless of her fault in them. Sometimes, she sees those within the world crying suffering, and can't help but feel it's her fault it's like that. She always feels like she was born too late to save anyone, and tries to work to make up for her failure in existing "far too late". This is part of why she's so hellbent on helping others, saving others from the metaphorical darkness in one's soul.
She is also easy to feel remorse, no matter how small and inconsequential her mistakes could be. Even if she isn't outward about her guilt, wronging people indeed sticks with her, as she is only fueled by the guilt to do them better. No matter how long ago she had felt she wronged someone, she will remember it, and try to do better by them.
Unwillingness to Succumb to Madness
The Asthavons are a family of powerful, but corrupt demons. Calypso is very aware of this fact, too aware, cripplingly aware. Though she hasn't known the extent of the chaos inflicted to the world by them, she knows that her lineage has caused plentiful pain and suffering. Though she had noticed a trend in her family of succumbing to the darkness that seems to be present in their souls, just waiting to crawl out and infect them like a horrible disease. Cali is vaguely aware of her own, if at all, but at the same time is strong in resisting any sort of malicious attempts on her mind or body. She vehemently pushes herself to be a kind, good person, and actively avoid any pulls or lulls towards corruption, at least those she is aware of.
Such a desire has even been exhibited through her suppression. At times, she thinks to allow her more violent abilities to grow is dangerous, but at the same time this, in turn, hurts her chance in growth. Since heeding the words of Khala and accepting her light and love, although unsure of her own destiny, she has tried to break down this suppression, a little by little, though is fearful of what baggage she could unearth by mistake... Fear of Corruption
Despite her conviction in being against the depravity, Calypso is still a fearful creature of what she could become. Not being able to look into the future and see what happens, essentially, makes the situation feel all the more terrifying. She has terrible nightmares at times, though are total 'what if' scenarios, she is fearful she will become like her mother or relatives, and such things are the only thing she dreams about on the rare occasion her mind creates one for herself. The more she hears or witnesses the effects particularly her mother has on the world, the more her fear grows, the more her will to resist wishes to grow.Strong Primal Desires
Mind is everything to Calypso's being, her very physical existence is possible and functional due to possessing a mind, thus she has a sort of mind over matter relation with herself. And with every mind, there's some form of baseline instincts to them, however, Calypso has more than the standard creature's own. She has an innate desire to comfort and be close to others, which feeds strongly into her desires to help others and otherwise feel useless if she cannot do so. In some respects, it actually hurts to think about her own failings and inabilities, causing her to be far more laser-focused on becoming stronger, despite not even being alive a year yet.
Even if that type of trait exists within her, there is also another instinct within her mind, though it's one she buried far too deep to be immediately concerned about, or even aware of, or care. An instinct tightly tied to her Nightmare concept, something fearsome lies behind those young golden eyes, no matter how kind she can be. It hasn't had many chances to emerge, only able to take footing during high stakes moments, which Calypso purposefully avoids. Whether it's to keep this thing hidden, or merely accidental, is unknown.» Likes:

Despite being more horror-like in appearance and abilities, Calypso still retains her good heart and instincts to comfort others. With her opening the floodgates, although not her full power unleashed, her body has gained an increase in it’s comforting nature. Her energy and mass are one in the same, though only a portion of it is capable of being corporeal, with this corporeal mass, Calypso can give comfort and safety to those in need of it. Resting against her body is a comforting experience, within a few seconds one would feel themselves melting into relaxation, and, not much unlike a bed you don’t want to leave on a monday morning after your alarm blares at 6 AM, those lying on her almost wouldn’t want to get up. If one lies on her for a minimum of 2 posts, they begin feeling refreshed, regardless of any injuries or tiredness, and any prolonged contact with her will only help them feel better. Being tied with a few other abilities, she can use this to get someone back up to proper health in a few posts if their injuries aren’t life-costing.Emotional Manipulation
Releasing some of the floodgates of her sealed potential has allowed Calypso to reach a more competent phase of her capabilities in other’s minds. In a sense, people are their emotions, and this gained competence is gained off of that understanding. Calypso can now directly hone in on and sense one’s present emotions, rather than passively feel how other’s feel and being held back by becoming overwhelmed. She can do this rather passively and easily detect surface-level and just a little under the surface-level emotions.
However, by focusing on a single person, she can dig deeper into the labyrinth that is the sentient consciousness, and sense more deeper, less obvious feelings and prods. She cannot read minds with this ability, under any circumstances. The closest she can get to thought-reading would be detecting the emotions affiliated with one’s thoughts.
Speaking of thoughts and memories, Calypso is also able to devour these for sustenance. Now, she cannot pick and choose what thoughts she eats, nor can she eat anything concretely set in someone’s mind, like an event or important memory(ies). That would require much deeper digging that she herself isn’t sure she’s capable of as of now. And, more obviously, she is capable of eating one’s dreams, which merely makes them forget that the dream ever occurred, since dreams aren’t truly concrete memories, and are more the mind’s reenactment of, and hodgepodging of, events, feelings, people, and other things.
The eyes of Calypso’s body open up, staring intensely at the opponent. They pry in to pick up that opponent’s deepest, darkest fears, and change forms accordingly. With this action, the consciousnesses within Calypso can communicate the fear to her, and forms a weapon or creature from her demonic energies in accordance to that fear. Regardless, it always can be used offensively. However, she can only forge a weapon or creature from the opponent’s strongest fear, no matter how dim their fear may be. For example, if one’s fear was ‘Fire’, depending on the severity of the fear, it can range from becoming a sword with a blade of fire, to a malevolent entity made of flames. Calypso will always have control of the construct, because it is simply mirroring the fear and constructing it into a weapon, rather than the actual fear itself.Horror Shroud
Taking strongly after her Nightmare concept, Calypso can spread her energy out into a scent. This scent becomes a tangible fog, laying over the field like a heavy weight. Those who inhale it begin to shiver and shake, feeling the pinpricks of fear and anxiety, like something is there, something is watching… Their vision darkens a bit around the edges, not to obscure it but rather to give the impression that it suddenly got much, much darker. The more of this fog one breathes (One breath within the fog per post) the more chilling things around them get. It starts off as simply anxiety, but it can get to the point of severe hallucinations and sensations of insanity if inhaling too much. The effects only get worse per post the character breathes it in, and if allowed two posts outside of the fog, the effects knock down a level, going completely away if uninterrupted.Za Koa Mass Manipulation
Originally in a rather underpowered, immature state, Calypso has now allowed herself to unravel and reweave this ability to be far more liquid and malleable. She has many uses for this ability now, concocting several new ways with her latent potential within her mindscape to form this. From bodily weapons, to more limbs, the following abilities have been forged by the demon in order to draw out more use of the sea of mass within her.
Notable examples include:
A far more personalized and powerful version of her previous ability to morph her arms into guns. Instead of needing to morph her body, she instead forms outlets for the energy via obsidian-colored tendrils that span out from her back who’s tips greatly resemble the heads of the mythical beast, the Dragon, though a much more nightmare-inspired darkness. The heads always have their mouths open, the insides reflectling light in a rather distinct, prism-like coloration. One would know these are beginning to charge the Nightmare Cannons when a darker-than-black, star speckled energy culminates within their mouths, jaws unhinging to allow it to form into a full, condensed ball roughly the size of a baseball. Calypso can loose this energy in two specific styles, being…
Either the energy can be let loose as it is in it’s condensed state, which effectively acts as a bomb, being able to be chucked in any direction Cali decides to swing the head in. The condensed black ball is very sensitive to touch, the slightest nudge, not including from Cali, releasing it’s fury. Once it comes into contact with an object that is not of it’s maker, it instantly releases the compressed energy, which expands quickly and mercilessly as a flurry of black and white explosions, it’s radius heavily dependent on Cali’s tier, but can be devastating nonetheless, causing severe burning or loss of body parts to any caught in the blast.
The second usage for the cannons, and a far more controlled but less powerful version of the explosion, is shooting the energy as a stream of black and white mixed beams of Za Koa. The energy is quite mesmerizing to look at, a cruel beauty as it can mow through many weak opponents, causing those two levels lower (at minimum) in Will/Determination than Cali to be more likely to submit to the allure of the beam and get caught up in it. Being hit by one would feel like one was being stabbed with many, many flaming swords, with the potential to cause deep wounds or straight take off a limb.Bladed Agony
A wing-like appendage forms from Calypso’s back, looking like a collage of all sorts of deep, dark colors and vague shapes. Though, if you’re any smart person, you wouldn’t take the time to stare at this formation of energy. If anything, it’d be better if you got ready to block, dodge, however you fly. This appendage then draws back, and then fragments into hundreds of shards, flying down to fill their target or targets full of cuts and gashes. The glass-like shards dissipate within a few minutes, or after causing damage to a target. The amount of shards is dependent on how large the wing, or wings, are allowed to grow, taking a bit slower to grow if she concentrates it into more than one. She can also materialize this ability by forming the glass-like shards in her flesh, but they do hurt quite a bit to be present and embedded in her flesh, thus the normal utilization that doesn't involve them jutting from her body.Ambrosia
Not too different from the Greek’s own telling of the fluid, Calypso possesses a golden fluid that is capable of healing others. Anytime she cries, instead of liquid tears, golden, honey-like fluid leaves her eyes in profuse amounts, which would easily tip anyone that it is not, in fact, normal tears. Her tears possess the ability to speed the healing process, revitalize, and otherwise aid those who consume it. By simply allowing the liquid to touch one’s wounds, they will feel their pain ebb away, and the wound slowly begin to heal. Much more minor wounds will of course heal faster, but more costly wounds will likely take a few more posts to heal, and much more life-threatening ones.. The best she can do is take the pain away with this ability alone.
This ability is strictly in mind for other beings, to heal them, and comfort them, and thus, Calypso will never receive any benefits from consuming or otherwise using the liquid upon herself. Lucid-Mind Toxins
Calypso’s blood is the manifestation of metaphysically converted energy. Such energy is fine to exist within herself, as she needs it in order to feel sustained, but that doesn't say the same for others, being a toxin to organic and spiritual beings aside from herself. However, if these toxins have been in contact with the air for too long, their effects wane away and the blood becomes a dark grey-blue. Much more direct but unintentional ways to contract the toxins without them losing effectiveness would be by directly eating it fresh from the flesh, extracting the blood and having it in an air-tight space, or just a run-of-the-mill contamination via entering wounds mid battle. Calypso has also employed a new method of having the blood literally under the skin of any attacking limbs, and causing the skin to burst if a wound has been created.
The way these toxins function is by inverting a person’s mind, causing things from the subconsciousness to spill into the consciousness, and vice versa. For those in the waking world, this makes reality horribly confusing, being compared to extreme lucid dreaming. Their bodies feel numb, warm, and kind of weak, as the world around them distorts, memories, thoughts, fears, comforts, becoming revealed in the world before their eyes. Depending on the severity of one’s mental state, or the nature of the things bumbling around in their head, this can cause much from mild confusion, to a temporary state of madness.
This also affects those in sleep as well, pulling them into a sort of sleepwalking state; their body becomes just as active as their mind as they dream, though their dreams are formatted along with what’s in reality. For example, if someone was in a small room, was infected with these toxins, the second they’re put into the state of half-wake, their dream will include the walls that the room has, but as different objects that still play a part in hindrance.
*The toxin’s effects normally wear off in 3 posts, if the host of them psychologically fights through the state. Any other occasions requires player permission.Dreamwalking
A Danava of Dreams and Nightmares would be an utter failure if they couldn’t travel in that state. Calypso is capable of accessing a realm between minds, all bound together by her desire to dreamwalk. This takes the form of an endless hallway, the infinite yet mesmerizingly beautiful void of space making up the excess.. Space. This hallway is littered with doors, starting with those closest to Calypso, and branching out to those farthest away. Calypso enters one’s dream by the simple action of popping a door open, and walking in, this door being something that the host of the dream cannot witness or touch themselves. Though she must remember that she is entering another’s domain, in all technicalities. She can always be forced out if the host does not want her there, or wakes up. Though in most cases, Calypso isn’t noticed if the host has no control over their dream, unless she makes herself known.
A good question would be, if someone wanted to exit their dream, could they? Well… Technically yes. Grasping the hand of the Danava allows them to leave their dream, however, they are unable to witness the marvel of the realm between dreams, simply appearing to be a black void to them, unless they enter another dream. If this person were to cease contact with Calypso, they wake up immediately, and are no longer outside of their dreams.Lucid Butterflies/Dragonflies
Calypso can spawn these creatures whether in the real world, or within dreams. She can amass a large swarm of either butterflies or dragonflies, both creatures being golden in color with a soft glow and intricate body patterns. These have absolutely no offensive purpose, instead being used to soothe whoever is engulfed within the swarm.
Any wrapped within their golden embrace begin to feel mentally at ease, the rhythmic flapping of their wings even giving the illusion of a lullaby being sung. Physically, this can make the target lose the will to engage in strong, elaborate emotions, and gets them to chill out to the point they could even forget what they were getting worked up over.
Largely, they are capable of bringing someone’s overwhelming or troubling thoughts down a few notches into a more manageable state, though any outstanding effects are more player decision dependent; Don't want your character fully subdued? That's fine.Harrowing Shriek
After warming up, the eyes on Calypso’s body open up, and open once more to reveal mouths with many pointed teeth, which all take in air during the warmup. If able to stand on a stable surface, all of the mouths formed on her body, using her own as a catalyst for the attack, releases a powerful, horrible shriek, that affects objects within a 20 meter radius. Not only is the force strong enough to badly damage buildings, vehicles, and smash about any glass unfortunate enough to be within it’s grasp in one pulse, those who were within 10 meters of her body would have received the true effects of the shriek, for it isn’t simply a release of sound, but uses Za Koa as a push off point for the blast, the energy in which ceases at 10 meters to exert force further out.
Those so close to her, provided they have a functioning sense of hearing, will all start feeling the real effects of the shriek; at first, they’d obviously hear ringing in their ears, but this ringing will instead sound like whispering. Depending on the afflicted’s Focus vs her own, this can either stay at whispering, peter out, or become far, far worse. The farther the distance in skill, the less or more damage it causes.Blood Angel
Blood Angel is the name that Algos gave this particular ability that came with marking her sister Algos in their love. Being that her sibling has a high volume of Algos's blood coursing through her veins, the instinct of Algos to protect and love her kin is still invested in that same blood. Ergo, from this deep sentimental meaning of wanting to possess this love for herself, the blood acts as a protective mechanism to defend Cali's body. The primary ways in which this bond is utilized are marked below as a result of Cali and Algos's interactions with one another. Mental Foundation
Above all else, the blood of Algos is meant to be utilized as a stabilizer given Cali's unsteady grasp on her inner self. Therefore, since Algos has a more resolute will and desire for this world, she makes use of that trait by giving her a resistance against mental assaults or emotional influences. That does not mean she is immune from them, but the blood of Algos makes it immensely hard to penetrate without a high volume of focused effort. And, even with that effort, it may not have the fully intended effects before this blood reacts to whoever is stimulating this mental assault. (whether that be outright attacking, Algos showing up or whatever have you is a whole another story.)
This was done in order to protect her sister from being so emotionally and mentally fragile in Algos's mind. She did not want to see her kin broken down in the future by another creature who may be able to use these exploits against her, so she wanted to at least put some kind of security in there given the fact that she has the prowess to be able to try and prevent that outcome from happening. Thus, this is her way of protecting and providing for her younger sister as Algos's responsibility and sentiment weigh heavily in this ability. As she refuses to let her sister down no matter the cost. Telepathic Link
There is a telepathic link between both Cali and Algos because of the bond that they share. This private communication network allows them to exchange different feelings, thoughts, and memories with each other if the other is open to sharing all that they are to one another. It is able to transcend even other worlds; provided there is nothing that is actively trying to prevent them from communicating with one another. If this connection is cut off, however, the blood will still be able to act on its own based on the deep-rooted instinct of Algos that is planted in it and will do it's best to give her or Cali the last location of either sibling so that they may track the other down if such an event occurred. Possessive Enhancement
While the blood of Algos has bonded with Cali, it will allow for her possessive magic to become more enhanced while she is under its influence. The reason for this is because it is in demonic lore that if a demon is to ingest the organs and extract of a more powerful demon than itself that their strength can become augmented. Thus, given the fact Algos willingly allowed for herself to be devoured by Cali during the time she marked her, it stands to reason that she may have an increase in her possessive magic.
This can potentially make her magical spells/prowess doubled in strength with all of Algos's memories, instinct and sub-conscious power flowing through her body to help guide her sister toward being a proficient magic user. It should also allow her to have a faster inclination towards having a knack and grasp for magic as she trains in the future to rapidly grow this skill given most in the Asthavon family have a stronger leaning toward magical insight. Blood Core
It will take some training to truly grasp this, but there is a core of Algos's energy that is dwelling in the depths of Cali's being. This cluster of energy has enough output of demonic power to be equivalent to a 1-3 character or so. The reason for this is because of the fact that there was such a copious amount of blood and extract that was consumed and devoured by Cali from Algos that it mutated and began to forge this deep-rooted seed of power within her being to further protect her.
The primary way this core of energy is supposed to be utilized is so that one ability/attack per turn can be used in an effort to help further enhance her strength until she is strong enough to not need the core and outgrow it. So she must manually focus on this core of blood within herself to summon forth this power and infuse it into her attacks, defenses or whatever else have you. An illustration of how this ability can be used is that she can merge this core of energy into a burst of demonic energy to try and release enough energy which can destroy a chunk of a city to protect herself.
The focal drawback with this, however, is that it will exhaust her body if abused too much. This can be shown by her feeling tired, sweaty, dizzy and otherwise strained if her body is already damaged from combat. So the side effects won't be felt if she is in 100% health and stamina; making it so that this gives her the advantage toward the beginning of any battle. As the fight progresses, this might become more daunting and tireless to wield given the fact it's a power beyond her current level of skill and ability. So, if she isn't 100% there mentally and physically, it will naturally become more unstable and unreliable to call on. So it must be wielded with caution, care, and precision.
Matter cannot be created nor destroyed, only it’s state of being changed. Unearthing this ability under the push of her elder sibling, Calypso is able to spawn an entity to be used to assimilate the energy of other beings. Not necessarily eat, but remove the energy from another thing or person and convert it into her own. She can only accomplish such a thing by spawning separate entities from herself, which take the form of something tick or leech-like in order to fulfill the task. She molds this creature from her own flesh, and thus her own energy reserves, and it is sent to drain whoever or whatever the target is.
The creature latches onto the most immediately convenient spot, sinks it’s teeth in, drain energy, and latch off if danger is imminent, forcibly ripped off (though this causes physical damage to the tearer if forced off, since it would be biting down on their flesh), or it becomes ‘full’ (The creature cannot endlessly feed). And then, when it gets what it can, it rushes to return to it’s maker, normally leaping into Calypso’s chest and re-fusing with her body. However, even if it can feed off of inanimate objects, it has a far easier time assimilating energy (And as a result making the energy harmless to her) from being with a will. Energy that isn’t completely assimilated can have negative effects upon her, depending on it’s strength and intended effects.
However, the creature cannot totally suck something dry in, say, a combat situation. Cali would have near to no time to possibly make enough to accomplish that in a fight without severely taxing her mental and energy reserves. It’s best used as a method to snag as much as it can carry and take it back to her.
Now, Calypso doesn’t have to fully rely on these creatures to assimilate energy, she can perform the transference with her own body with no seeming end to the amount she can realistically take in (before overindulgence effects take hold), same rules attributed to the creatures applied to herself.
However, at the very bottom line, attempted assimilation of more energy-focused, willful beings (such as demons, or those heavily in tune with their own energy), can be potentially dangerous, as feeding off the wrong being who can have fluent control of their energy outside of their bodies, or generally very corruptive energy, can then run wild in the girl’s body unless expelled.Wish Upon
An ability pressured out into the open of her awareness through her sibling’s hand, Calypso can quite literally ask for and grant wishes. Though there are very heavy rules and limitations to this ability, due to it scratching at the bounds of reality in some contexts. How this ability works is, Calypso wants something to happen (And she has to ACTUALLY want it to happen for it to work, so in most cases there’s no accidental wishes), focuses her energy, and her energy independent of her works to make that thing possible. These wishes cannot do the impossible, only make the impossible situation be changed into a possible one. Meaning, she can’t wish that the vacuum of space was hospitable, but she can wish for that beer off the shelf.
Though this ability more works with cause and effect, karmic effects. For instance, this can be used for healing, but she has to actually be able to see and interact with the person she wishes to heal. If they were say, a demon, her wish to heal them would basically be her energy forcing the demon’s energy to focus and heal that wound. If it were a human she had to heal, it’s a trickier area and entirely dependent on the wound. She can force the body to accelerate the healing (While probably being twice as draining as if she did it on something that was capable of healing itself), but it would leave a rather nasty scar where the wound was due to forcing the existing cells to clamp together, along with being rather painful. In cases where the wound can’t be healed, it’s possible that if she states her wish correctly, she can turn the being into a demon or at least partially demon in order for them to survive the wound and heal on their own (though if this were to happen they’d develop abilities similar to her own, being more mental and horroristic, along with adapting some nightmareish traits).
Making more drawbacks clear, Calypso has to be specific on what she wants, stating it aloud for her intentions to be clear as crystal. If the wish isn’t possible, nothing happen. If the wish is possible, visible purple flame-like energy emerges from the girl’s most immediately used arm. Calypso cannot wish for something like someone’s heart to stop palpitating, or for a Jedi mind-trick type of thing; she cannot infringe upon another’s ability to live, or sanity with these powers, the extent of her control of people being only healing or calling to them, as they have their own energy that she has to actively push against. Objects are far easier for her to affect since they tend to have no will or energy of their own.
I. Eternal Partner/Conceptual World» Conceptual World:
Their Conceptual World is cloaked in an eternal night, however the moon is large in the sky, colored with pearl hues, and the night sky instead of a handful of stars, is full of galaxies, comets, and other wonders of the heavens. Though they are hindered by mountains, a vast ocean that is entirely made of their hidden, energy-converted mass, appearing as a black sea of green eyes, marks the “end” of the world so to speak, but it isn’t able to be seen past the crystalline mountains that fork inwards, both dark yet glowing with wonderful colors, almost like a solid aurora. They cover up a vast forest, full of black and white trees with glowing leaves and flowers. It’s almost like a fairy tale, glowing insects flying about and going their merry way. The forest twists and turns, those unfamiliar with it’s paths able to become lost in the confusion...
A crescent shaped lake lays at the very center, it’s clarity of reflection mesmerizing to the weak and vain, even the splashes of fish could not disturb the surface. A small, elegantly designed house adorned with flowers lays at the deepest part of the curve.
Calypso's Eternal Partner has yet to show, if not, does not presently exist, if ever.

» Eternal Partner Powers:
I. Atma Vatou
» Atma Vatou Name: (What is the name of your Atma Vatou?)
» Atma Vatou Appearance: (What does your Atma Vatou look like?)
» Atma Vatou Abilities: (What does your Atma Vatou do? For instance, if one had a Origin Power that was associated with war? Then they would have a series of Atma Vatou that could generate things such as grenades, tanks, missiles and weapons related to war.)
Note: To prevent people from being overloaded who make Multi-Origin Danava, we allow them to qualify for certain forms if they a Atma Vatou for each Origin Power.
I. Diverse Paths» Note: THIS PART OF THE DANAVA REQUIRES YOU LOOK AT THEIR RELEASE FORMS IN THEIR RACIAL THREAD! Therefore, if you have a Danava that has a Saca Atmā (Constant Release)? Then simply remove all of the below and state their Saca Atma or leave a note. Also, remove this note upon completion of the app.
» Aliṅgana State Appearance: (What does your character look like when in their Alingana State? To help, they take on characteristics of whatever background their release form is based on. Thus, if you were of a Rock Origin? Then you'd probably have some sort of appearance that has your character covered in some sort of armor comprised of Earth/Rock. Ice user? Then you could probably be covered in a cold aura and have ice covering your body. You should get the picture. You may also use images.)
» Aliṅgana State Powers: (What sort of powers does your Danava Demon possess while in this form? The primary objective of this release form is to ultimately come to terms with whatever your origin, past, concept or being is. When this transpires, all of the users powers will become easier to use and then become enhanced further beyond that. Thus, if you were a fire user? You could then begin to take your fire usage to the next level by having more fire related abilities, enhancing your current techniques and even having new power altogether; but on the condition that they are related to your base. So, for the fire user, it might be possible for him to control Lava or Solar Energy while in an Alingana State; but it wouldn't be possible for him to control all the elements or something like that. )
» Aliṅgana State Abilities: (What sort of abilities or techniques does your Danava Demon have while in Alingana State? This is the same as Origin State Abilities. Meaning, that these will be related to whatever powers you advance or gain in Alingana. So, if you were a fire demon, you could probably apply that fire-skin of yours to increase your defense/endurance. Something along those lines)
» Unnata Release Appearance: (What does your Danava Demon look like when in Unnata Release? If one were the origin of fire? They'd most likely have their entire body engulfed in flames in order to become the embodiment of this element; perfecting this origin further then in it's previous state while in their former release state. Another example: If one represented a past filled with pain? Then in this transformation, they'd most likely be covered in head to toe in blood, eyes turned red with agony and body covered in physical scars from all the mental pain racing to the surface in order to display just the type of horror they've had to endure in their life. Pictures are also accepted.)
» Unnata Release Powers: (What sort of powers does your Danava Demon advance in while in Unnata? The primary focus in this transformed state is to ultimately, as the title says, advance. This means that most Danava can further develop, strengthen or otherwise evolve their powers. However, it is possible to gain new powers that are related to your origin while in this form. It's just very dependent on it being associated in someway with your Danava's Origin. )
» Unnata Release Abilities: (What sort of abilities or techniques does your Danava Demon have while in Unnata Release? This is the same as Origin State Abilities and Aliṅgana State Abilities. Meaning, that these will be related to whatever powers you advance or gain in Alingana.)
I. Merged Paths
Note: THIS IS ONLY FOR DANAVA WHO HAVE MORE THEN ONE ORIGIN! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE? THEN JUST REMOVE THIS ENTIRE SECTION!
» Phyuja Rājya Appearance: (What does your Danava Demon look like in their fused state? Typically, they'll more often then not look like a fusion between their elements. So, if one were a Fire and Water Danava? Their appearance could take the shape of fire that appears to be liquid, as a half-baked example. Pictures are accepted as well.)
» Phyuja Rājya Powers: (What sort of powers does your Danava Gain while in Phyuja Rājya? Please note that their typically related to their secondary and tertiary Origins. So this is where you are able to use more of your Multi-Origins with ease. It's also possible to take concepts, origins and elements to fuse them into a new power. Such as taking a Solar Origin and a Lunar Origin to gain some sort of Twilight Power.)
» Phyuja Rājya Abilities: (What Abilities does your character have in Phyuja Rājya? These are very related to whatever powers you got from your fused state.)
» Caṛhā Saṅgalita Appearance: (What does your character look like in their Caṛhā Saṅgalita Release? In some cases, you may not even need a change in appearance.)
» Caṛhā Saṅgalita Powers: (What Sort of powers does your Danava have while in this release? Feel free to go all out here, as this is their peak pinnacle of power.)
» Caṛhā Saṅgalita Abilities: (What Sort of abilities does your Danava have while in this release? Feel free to go all out here, as this is their peak pinnacle of power.)
