Artist: N/A - Song: N/A . - Word Count: 1013|The Basics of the Sage||Character Name|:
His first name, when translated from kanji, is 長, which can mean "Leader", and relates to his leader-like personality as well as his natural affinity for commanding Hollows and Arrancar. This name ended up being prophetic, as he eventually rose to become the most fearsome leader in Hueco Mundo history. He however can't remember the origins of his last name, and believes at some point another being bestowed it upon him. |Aliases|:
King of Hueco Mundo
His primarily alias currently is 'King of Hueco Mundo', or 'Hollow King'. This is because he has actually attained this position in the realm of Hollows, both possessing and having control over all of Hueco Mundo. This essentially means he is the god-king of the realm, holding absolute power and control over all Hollows and Arrancar that live within its bounds.|Character True Age|:
62,000~ (exact age unknown)
Nagato believes he is the most ancient being in Hueco Mundo and the oldest of his race, though this is unconfirmed and based on his personal experiences and available knowledge.|Character Appearance Age|:
His physical appearance hides his true age of over 10,000 years old. The fact that he only looks less than 30 is a true testament to his Arrancar body. He appears to be a relatively young man, at just 25 years old in appearance. His fair skin, and vibrant hair shows just how young he looks. |Character Gender|:
Ex-Phoenix King of the Rinyūaru, Ex-Hollow King, Ex-Infanta, Ex-Shadow Fall Throne
_____________________________________________|The Mind of the Sage||Loyalty|
Above all else, Nagato requires and respects loyalty to not only himself, but the causes and factions he leads. You are either with them, or against them in his eyes, and wont tolerate any fence sitting. If someone were to leave his side, Nagato's first instinct would be to put them to death. Because of this, he sort of seems like a dictator, and can certainly seem to act like one, but sees himself more as an enlightened gift for all Arrancar-kind. As the King of Hueco Mundo, he demanded loyalty of all Hollows and Arrancar within the dimension. Going against him is the very definition of treason, which resulted in his full wraith as a consequence. Nagato believes the only person or thing he owes his loyalty is Hueco Mundo and the Hollow race as a whole, refusing to make decisions that would result in a net loss for either. This is actually a major driving force behind his belief in the unification of all Hollows under his own banner. However, crossing him or breaking one of the laws he has instilled upon Hueco Mundo almost always results in death as, according to him, breaking his laws is equivalent to treachery. Similarly, he considers every other race inferior and deserving of total destruction.|Power Driven|
Another main character trait of Nagato is the fact that he is driven by power. If he can obtain more power, he will, simply because he believes it will help elevate him to a level where he can achieve his goal. He constantly tries to get stronger, searching out weapons and even people he can use to not only become more powerful, but also assist him in achieving the goals he lays out. After the dissolution of the Rinyūaru and his assumption of the role of Hollow King, he strove to become even more powerful (despite reaching heights he had never before been able to touch) in order to bring all his goals and objectives to fruition. Nagato also seeks more power in order to eventually reign over not only Hueco Mundo, but all dimensions in the cosmos, creating the ultimate utopia for the Hollow race. This personality characteristic is largely responsible for not only his current level of actual power, but the fact that he had gone from Phoenix King of the Rinyūaru to Hollow King. Though no longer part of Shadow Fall, he still seeks to rule over all of Hueco Mundo and reality.|Goal|
He will never change his goal. He will never go against his goal. he will never make a decision that might push him farther from his goal. This much is a fact. For a long time Nagato has believed Hollows and Arrancar to be subservient to Demons and Shadow Fall as a whole, and as such seeks to not only break the chains that bind him and his race but also the severing of all ties between Demons and Arrancar. Though certainly incredibly difficult to accomplish, Nagato refuses to be dissuaded regardless of who opposes him. Outside of this goal, he also seeks to create the ultimate utopia for his race in Hueco Mundo and then spread its influence into the Human World, Soul Society, and all other realms. At the end of his path is a reality where he and his kind reign supreme above all others, especially Demons.|Pain|
Firmly believing he and his race have suffered more pain and slaughter than any other, Nagato seeks to instill this 'pain' in all others. In fact, his Aspect of Death is "pain". What he sees as the truth is Hollows have unfairly been targeted by every other race and dimension, eg: Shinigami kill them, Quincy destroy them, Humans repel them, Demons look down on them, etc. While he, at the moment at least, primarily seeks to unify his entire race and realm with himself as leader, Nagato eventually (in the near future, at least) wishes to wage war upon the other races and realms in order to show them "The pain of Hollows", as he puts it. After forcing all others to feel his pain, he will destroy them utterly and usher in a new era of Hollows. However, for now this mainly manifests in the absolute eradication of all those who invade or trespass in Hueco Mundo, no matter their reasoning. For if there is one thing Nagato wants to instill in others, it's the fear of pain he and his brethren can inflict upon them. |Natural Leader|
Nagato possesses a high level of charisma, and is a natural born leader. This may originate from the fact that his father was a tribal leader and he was next in line for the position of tribal leader in his group of wandering nomads when he was a human, but it may come from something else instead. He can incite revolutions just by speaking, and gain followers just by being near people. This is the main reason he was chosen to become the figure head of the Rinyūaru, as the real leader believed he would be able to get any other people to join the organization, which so far, he has been successful in such endeavors. His name also means Leader when directly translated to English from Japanese Kanji. This was also one of the main reasons he was able to wrest control of Hueco Mundo, becoming its new Hollow King. Being a natural leader manifests as a characteristic of his Spiritual Pressure as well, which forcefully puts NPC Hollows and Arrancar noticeably weaker than him under its influence. This can manifest in a multitude of ways, but usually takes the form of cannon fodder Hollows following his word regardless of their own beliefs or wants.|Supposedly Peace-Wanting|
Throughout everything, it all leads back to one thing: Universal Peace. His wish there to no longer be struggling between the realms and races can seem noble at first, heroic even. The reality of his mindset is not quite that kind. Truthfully, the peace Nagato seeks would be the result of the complete and utter destruction of all who oppose him or his race, crushing any and all resistance mercilessly. To him, peace means peace for Hollows
, with all others falling at the wayside. For if none exist to oppose him, that in and of itself is a form of peace. Others would call it a Final Plan.
_____________________________________________|The Appearance of the Sage|
One of, if not the, most notable features of Nagato are his eyes. The pupils are small black dots in the middle of his eyes, and rarely ever get larger like normal pupils do. They are in the dead center of the rings. Nagato's eyes are characterised by a ripple-like pattern over the eyeballs, with a light purple iris and sclera. These same eyes are possessed by all of his forms, every Path in his Ressureccion has them, and he even retains them in his Segunda form. His eyes can change color and shape depending on the form they assume, however.|Hair|:
Nagato's hair is a (relatively) bright red, though it sometimes appears dull in certain light. His hair is quite long, coming down to, albeit almost, his shoulders. Though, it would make more sense to say his hair reaches to about his chin, because, well, it does. His hair is rather messy, with random points of it sticking out away from the rest of the hair on his head. Though his hair is red now, in his Ressureccion, each body has orange hair, and oddly enough, in Segunda he has white hair. Most consider his hair odd because of its length and color, however, compared to some others, it actually appears quite bland in comparison. |Jacket/Coat|:
Nagato has a long jacket that (from its collar) goes from above his chin, all the way down to his feet. It has a long zipper that goes all the way down to the bottom so it can be unzipped and removed easily, without any complicated, unneeded way to take it off. The jacket has notable red clouds with white outlines all over the jacket. There are about 10, and in seemingly random places on the jacket. The sleeves of the jacket go slightly past his hands, covering them up completely. The collar starts at the base of his neck, and goes up to about his mouth. It covers about half, though sometimes it look like all, of his mouth, his chin, and his neck. It is a very dark black, making him difficult to see at night.|Under Shirt|:
Underneath his long jacket, he has a shirt and a net-like shirt above that. The normal shirt he wears is all black and has short sleeves, as in, it doesnt even fully cover his upper-arms. It is pretty tight on him though. The net-like shirt is worn just above that. This shirt is also black, as well as being sleeveless (unlike his actual shirt). The net shirt is quite tight as well, being about as tight as the black t-shirt, though the net doesnt make it seem like it is like this. These two shirts help Nagato keep his cool, as they allow for easy breathing, but arent so baggy as to allow cold air to get in and lower his overall body temperature.|Body Language|:
When Nagato stands, he tends to stand up straight, as though he were in a military. He tries not to give anything away through his body language, and as such, is quite up-tight, even when sitting he tries to keep his body as straight as possible. He doesnt really talk with his hands either, and prefers to keep others' attention focused on his voice, his words, his speech
. When he walks, he appears to glide, though this may because of his long jacket, but it is also because of the way he walks around. |Bone Appearance|:
His bone fragments arent shown, they might be on the back of his head, under his hair. This, however, is just speculation, and in no way has he actually shown his mask fragments. Truthfully, the fragment takes the form of small rings on the back of his head, exactly opposite of his eyes.|Hollow Hole|:
Located below his sternum.|Reitsu Colour|:
Hakuda/Zanjutsu Techniques:Fōsupāmu (lit. Force Palm フォースパーム):
This is a very strong Hakuda technique utilized by Nagato. It is a Hakudo strike that aims to knock the air out of someones lungs, as well as break bones, or cause mainly internal damage. Nagato concentrates his Spiritual Energy into his lungs, and then when he strikes with either one or both of his palms, he breathes out, sending a small shock wave of spiritual energy out of his palms on contact. The spiritual energy goes directly through the persons body, and causes mainly internal damage as well as create large red palm prints on the area that was stricken. While this doesn't necessarily bypass all defenses, it can somewhat easily break weak to moderate outer defenses (though it still won't cause much outer damage).Senpū Surasshu (lit. Whirlwind Slash 旋風スラッシュ):
This is a Zanjutsu technique utilized by Nagato, usually to take out multiple enemies or stop attacks. Nagato wields all of his swords at once to begin this attack. He will then take a stance on one foot where he leans backwards, and then jump forward and begin spinning rapidly and striking with his blades rapidly and in quick succession. This technique is quite useful when being attacked from multiple directions, taking on multiple opponents at once, stopping an attack, and countering opponents. This technique, taking advantage of Nagato's extreme speed and durability, prioritizes the dodging and countering of enemy attacks and as such has less offensive power than it may otherwise have. The main strength of Senpū Surasshu is Nagato's rapid movement, providing safety if he ever needs to move through a particularly dangerous area.Kagesai (lit. Shadow Star 蔭星):
Gathering reiatsu in both hands, Nagato will deliver 6 punches into their opponents chest. Each punch leaves a black imprint that when finished will link to make a 6 pointed star resembling six connected tomoe. With a final punch to the center, a very large explosion of pure spiritual energy will occur, sending the target flying quite a distance away. The individual hits don't cause much physical damage on the person's outside, but they can
cause some pretty big damage inside
the opponents body. Basic internal damage is obvious, ie internal bleeding, etc, but this technique can be more dangerous against those significantly weaker than him. Noticeably, this technique is often more useful against physical and metaphysical objects/creations than actual people due to its power not being high without all six consecutive strikes landing. Kagesai can be quite dangerous to Bakudo and other Kido creations, as well as barriers and physical objects like armor.Racial Abilities:
Special Techniques and AttributesDead Body Control:
By inserting cloned versions of his Zanpakutō into a body, Nagato can control said body from far away by manipulating his own energy and the remaining energy of the body. This doesn't really have practical direct combat use mainly because it takes serious surgery to safely implant the Zanpakutō clones into ones body, so this isn't an ability to be used in direct combat. Instead, it allows him to control the dead and use the body as a messenger of sorts (but can also use the person to fight. When he uses this ability to control a body, he cannot be in the same thread as a body he controls, as it takes a good amount of energy to control said body. He can also channel some of his own powers through the Zanpakutō clones, giving some of his abilities to the body currently under control. While it is possible to make the person stronger than when they were alive, they have to die first, making this a very tricky ability indeed. He can also reanimate the person's personality and memories, but they are under his control completely. The level of power of the person being controlled is (usually, unless Nagato funnels his own energy into the person which could severely weaken himself) how strong they were when they died. Say Nagato brought back Kimimaro Kaguya, who was 0-4 when he died. Kimimaro would be 0-4 after being brought back, and also allow him access to his own abilities. (This is really just a plot/event ability). However, it takes three threads for the revived individual to return to their previous power level and until then they begin 6 tiers below their approved tier, gaining 2 back with each thread following their revival.
This is the signature technique of Nagato. This ability is constant, meaning is is always on, and the only way to turn it off is to gouge Nagato's own eyes out. In that way, this so much isn't a technique or ability, as it is part of Nagato himself. Nagato can see through solid objects, as well as see Spiritual Energy in a pure form, meaning a human would be rather dim, and a powerful being like another arrancar would seem completely blue and glowing. This doesnt mean he cant tell what people and objects look like, its just he can also tell the exact amount of spiritual energy in a persons body. He can also distinguish peoples' exact species from one another. As in, if someone was even 10% demon, Nagato would be able to sense it. Nagato can also see through any darkness, even those that are abilities of enemies. However, the primary strength of these eyes lies in what they can sense when it comes to actual abilities. Nagato is able to accurately pinpoint every single type of energy, no matter how microscopic, used in an ability or spell. This allows him to pick up on hidden traits, as well as target weak points and also prepare for certain kinds of energies that may have different effects on him, making him seem like an all-knowing sage being. This eye technique also allows Nagato to pinpoint weaknesses on enemies or objects by more easily picking up spots vulnerable to his attacks. The difference between the Sējigan and the old form is 2 points: there are six total tomoe on the two inner rings, and he is now immune to illusions and sight-based abilities.
This is the base state for Nagato's Kagegan form's eyes. After unlocking his Kagegan form, he gained access to these eyes in his sealed state. His new eyes are red and black, and have a signature tomoe design on them while also possessing the rings of his Sējigan. They allow Nagato to not only sense the flow of spiritual energy throughout a persons body, but also contains the same characteristics of his Sējigan and then some. It allows Nagato to keep track of those he's fighting, meaning he can see people even when they use special speed movement abilities such as Flash-Step and Sonido or invisibility techniques. He can keep track of multiple opponents at once like this, giving him an upper hand against speed-based opponents. It also allows him to perceive intent in the form of colors on spectrum. Negative intent, such as lying or aggression, appear redder while submissiveness and truthfulness are blue. In active combat however, most of these characteristics aren't very useful. What makes up for this are its following traits. Against all fighters, Nagato's Kagegan allow him to pick up on patterns not only much easier than anyone else, but also much quicker. In addition, they give him the ability to see through and past objects and energy.Banido:
This is a an advanced form of Sonido. It is unique to Nagato. What this ability does mainly, is it allows Nagato to travel much much faster than Sonido ever could. He can travel so fast, that he appears to be warping places instead of just using Sonido to get there. Banido is roughly 1.5 times faster than Nagato's normal Sonido, and considering his regular level, this boost is more significant than it may at first appear. Banido also completely gets rid of the sound its counterpart Sonido makes when used. As a matter of fact, it is so quiet, that it makes no sound whatsoever. This makes it seem even more like the user is just teleporting to places. The secondary effect of Banido is its own push and pull. Whenever Nagato uses Banido, the area that he was once in begins to suck in everything around it (objects AND people), pulling them all into one area. The area Nagato Banidos to pushes everything away from his position, sending things flying in all directions. This makes the ability quite tactical, as an effective offensive and defensive tool as well as its speed properties. The push and pull are of average strength, and get stronger as Nagato goes faster. The amount of mass and weight this ability can displace is pretty large, rather easily crushing and shoving large boulders, steel beams, etc. Being a GrandMaster in both Sonido and general speed, Nagato rarely needs
to pull this more advanced technique out when in battle unless against an opponent comparable to himself. Used in lieu of Sonido.Multi-Layered Fiber Plate Hierro:
This is the special, true, and newly evolved form of Nagato Tengan's Hierro and works a bit differently from his normal Hierro. Like his old, basic Arrancar Hierro, this special version is made up of trillions of microscopic fibers made of spiritual energy that are interlaced, overlap, and cover Nagato's entire body without exception. However, this Hierro also has a top layer of pure spiritual energy, which acts as steel plate armor would: an extremely durable, flat, solid layer of armor, as well as a bottom layer made up of squishy energy that absorbs shock from physical blows. The top layer acts as the main defense, blocking punches, kicks, etc, and possibly dealing damage to the opponent due to the sheer durability and hardness of it. The second layer acts as an anti-blade layer should the top layer not be enough; the interlacing fibers are able to stop even some of the sharpest blades from cutting Nagato. The bottom layer spreads shock from physical blows out across Nagato's body so one spot takes the entire hit. The blow is instead spread out over a larger area so less central damage is done, essentially rendering many attacks ineffective. This also means that while a strong enough physical hit might push past his normal durability and do a lot of damage, instead he remains near-unscathed thanks to the spread out kinetic energy. It should be noted that because this is multiple layers of spiritual energy, spiritual energy attacks don't do as much damage as they might normally do, though this is just because of Nagato's high level Hierro skill. This Hierro is also durable when I comes to heat due to having to be able to protect Nagato from his extreme high speeds, especially since he can break the sound barrier. Interestingly, manipulation of Nagato's energy doesn't work on this protective coating of armor due to both its high density and proximity to Nagato's body. The defense this Hierro affords Nagato is great, and has allowed him to take attacks from people like Reimu and Radioactive without receiving bodily harmDeified Spiritual Power:
Nagato has always had a ridiculously high amount of spiritual power. He has been stated to have an ungodly Reiatsu that, alone, is usually enough to incapacitate weaker enemies. Because of this, he can quite easily be classified as on par with some of the strongest fighters when it comes to Spiritual Power. Even when he first became a Hollow, his power was enough to rival seated Gotei 13 officers, as his level of strength was on par with capable fighters before becoming a Gillian, which is rather rare for freshly born Hollows. Even as a Gillian, his power was extraordinary, being unrivaled during his time. Due to the fact that he was the first recorded Vasto Lorde-level Hollow Hueco Mundo has seen, and has been an Arrancar longer than most others have existed, his Reiatsu not only started out massive, but has had a long, long time to grow and become much larger in general. Currently, his Reiatsu is high enough to control 6 extra bodies in his Ressureccion form with minimal difficulty, and even seem to give each body a huge amount of Spiritual Pressure. It's been said that when Nagato displays his Reiatsu, it feels like the moon itself is falling in his vicinity. In Malaysia his spiritual pressure was felt from many miles away, drawing fighters including Reimu Iramasha to his position due to the threat they could feel. When removing the physical limiters he usually places on his limbs, Nagato's Reiatsu explodes outward like a raging tempest. This burst is enough to cause significant winds and damage to the terrain around him. The fact his spiritual pressure can cause such physical changes to his surroundings is a testament to its vast size.Skilled Sword User:
Due to his Zanpakutos unique form, Nagato has trained to learn how to wield them effectively. His skill in sword techniques and styles is quite high, as well as an odd way of fighting. He can use all 5 blades at once, one in each hand, one in his left elbow, one in his knee, and one his his mouth, which is a very difficult sword style to master, though he has done this several times over. His main fighting style is rapid movements while also cutting up his enemy, such as using Sonido multiple times around his opponent, and each time slashing a blade at them. Preferring to wield either one or two blades, Nagato very rarely commits to using any more than that simultaneously. Due to the short length of his swords, Nagato's reach in combat can be rather short and as such needs to be supplemented by his calculated fighting style in close quarters combat. By combining rapid movements with waiting for his foe to make a mistake, he is both able to avoid receiving damage while continuously landing strikes that, while individually don't usually cause mortal wounds, add up over time. However, if given the opportunity Nagato will land a well-placed stab or slice as he always keeps track of his opponent's weak points (such as tendons, arteries, etc).Hand-to-Hand Fighter:
Though not his specialty, he has been known to be able to fight without any weapons quite effectively. While not exactly known
for his hand-to-hand fighting, he has still been able to hold his own on multiple occasions. However, Nagato is an extremely ruthless and dangerous close quarters combatant. His speedy punches coupled with his strength and reaction time is enough to take down most enemies. When using Hakuda, he tends to fight like a boxer, always trying to pull off combos and uppercuts right when he is supposed to. He also balances his kicks and punches, meaning you might be getting punched one second, and sent flying away from a hard kick to your shoulder, the next minute. Combining his basic attributes and special abilities makes Nagato extremely difficult to best in close quarters combat, especially due to his speed and durability both providing him with (usually) adequate protection against more skilled opponents. If his particular fighting style had to be described, it would include all the aforementioned attack patterns along with an intense focus on aiming quick and precise strikes to his victims' weak points, using his eyes to discover and hone in on them.Calmness in Battle:
While fighting, Nagato is eerily calm, even if there is chaos on the battlefield. As he is always after some sort of objective, one way or another, he refrains from doing anything that does not pertain to the task at hand. This means the only thing he focuses on is the objective, which if it happens to be "Eliminate the Target", the ONLY
thing he will focus on is ending your life. You better be prepared, or else his objective may just end up being completed. Also, if his mission is "Capture the Target", it is likely he will just ignore all those around him, except for the target needing capturing. This is a trait that, while not forgiving to his allies, gives him advantages in battle as he never goes off task and is able to pinpoint exactly what he needs to be focusing on at any given time.Grandmaster Pure Speed:
Nagato's best, and most highly trained, general battle trait is his pure, insane speed. This is what he is known for in his base body, though in his Ressureccion, this does not pertain to every Path he controls, as each one has its own way of fighting (or lack thereof). His speed is so ridiculous, he has been mistaken to be using Sonido, when in fact he was just moving regularly. Nagato can make many afterimages by moving, each afterimage appearing to be his clone. They don't "flicker" like normal afterimages either, and literally appear to be separate bodies and people. While his strength may not be as high or monstrous as his speed, by moving fast enough, he can generate enough force in his attacks to easily make up for this. To expand on this point, Nagato can use both his base speed and Sonigo to increase the kinetic energy of his blows to an incredible point. Against Reimu Iramasha, a being known for her physical strength, Nagato was able to hold his own and counter her attacks with his own powerful strikes thanks to his speed. Particularly useful in close combat, this trait gives Nagato the ability to dodge and weave against foes who noticeably out-skill him. Outside of combat, his base speed allows him to cross vast distances without relying on Sonido and grants him undetected access to areas he would usually face resistance in if discovered. Combined with his monstrous Hierro, this Arrancar is infamous for being nigh-unstoppable. Master Durability:
Without his actual physical durability, Nagato's Hierro would mean less as it would essentially be his only line of defense. In fact, the reality is even if his Hierro was somehow broken through or rendered ineffective, attempting to harm this Arrancar is still an incredibly difficult task to achieve. Though rarely put to the test because
of his Hierro, when the need arises he can continually take high level Kido spells and physical attacks without giving any quarter to his foes. Thanks to his machine-like pain endurance, even should he receive damage it is usually in small amounts and causes no physical displeasure to the ex-Hollow King. Striking Nagato with a weapon or bare skin very often results in his attacker being injured, as if they were a regular human punching a brick wall. This is properly shown against enemies who lack their own high level of durability.Physical Strength:
Nagato is a high level Arrancar, so of course he is going to have quite a bit of physical strength behind his punches and kicks. He is quite strong, though by no means does he excel in strength compared to some of his contemporaries. His punches and kicks, and other Hakuda techniques and attacks can do quite a bit of damage, able to shatter bones and easily destroy very dense objects such as metals and armor. His speed augments his strength as well. By hitting extremely quickly, or charging the enemy and landing a full-speed hit, he can cause quite a bit of damage, though this is not be confused with actual physical strength, as again, he is putting speed behind such attacks and hits. However, even without speed, Nagato can still cause extreme damage to opponents; a good example is what he can do with a nail. Just by flicking a nail, he can cause it to go at super sonic speeds fairly easily (See above Picture). For those noticeably weaker than him, it can still feel as if they're being struck by a freight train should he land a blow on them. Regardless of his speed or abilities, Nagato's raw power can crush many of those he comes across. He has even been known to catch Ceros and Kido spells with his bare hands and toss them to the side, as if swatting away a fly.Intelligence and Battle Strategy:
Due to not only his age, but his natural intelligence as well, Nagato is quite intelligent. He has read basically every book in the Los Noches library, gaining a large sum of knowledge from the books and encyclopedias. He has also read many war strategy books, such as Sun-Tzu's "The Art of War", gaining not only invaluable knowledge in combat, but also learning how to "use the pawns" (soldiers, expendable fighters, etc) when in war or combat period. Being as old as he is, Nagato also has a large amount of experience in general, so he tends to be able to change his fighting style, or adapt new strategies mid-battle. He also possesses knowledge on most Shinigami, Demons, Visoreds, Iramasha, etc, as he has done extensive research on every single species. Because of this, he is rarely surprised by abilities presented to him. This doesn't mean he automatically knows about someones abilities, it just means he is not surprised by ones he has never seen.
Also, because of his knowledge and intelligence, he is able to understand other peoples abilities quite quickly, and is able to think up ways to counter said ability. If an opponent uses an ability even just a few times, he can usually determine the type, range, and uses of the ability, and then countering it with one of his own abilities.
(Shinra Tensei being used by Nagato to stop arrows)Shinra Tensei
(lit. Heavenly Subjugation of the Omnipresent God; Almighty Push)
Shinra Tensei is the ability to seemingly manipulate gravity at the user's will to repulse matter away, however that isn't entirely accurate. It isn't as simple as "gravity" because other gravity users cannot negate or stop it, and people/abilities immune to gravity are not immune to Shinra Tensei. It's more accurate to say it's the manipulation of space or reality itself. Depending on the amount of force the user puts in this technique, it can easily shatter wood, bones, metal, or stone walls. By using this technique as a defensive measure, almost all attacks directed to the user will be deflected, no matter the size, power or mass (its to be noted that the larger the attack, the more resistance they can put up, but in the end it rarely matters). It can also be used to repel flames caught on the user's body as the pressure initially forms on his skin. The only downside to this technique is that there is a short period when it is unusable after being used. The minimal time period is about five seconds, but it varies depending on the amount of power put into the attack. Range is included in this aspect. Even if Nagato's energy is removed, or energy-use is removed from combat, he still has access to this ability since it doesn't technically use any energy nor is it technically gravity-based, so cancelling gravity powers doesn't work either. While Shinra Tensei does not require spiritual energy to use, it is physically draining instead, taking an appropriate amount of physical energy to use. Also, sufficiently strong and fast individuals may "force" their way out, resisting Shinra Tensei and perhaps even escaping it's grasp. However, this just means it's possible to slow themselves down slightly while being pushed, or they can try jumping away from it, as it is far above what can be described as "difficult" to straight up stop, and instead requires careful planning to counter. It should be noted that while possible
for targets to resist, the chances of anyone short of the strongest entities being capable of this is extraordinarily unlikely. This technique has been used to blast away powerful energy attacks and entire city blocks, clearing away everything around his body. It, along with Banshō Ten'in, is his signature ability and defies logic in both capabilities and power. While in Ressureccion, the Deva Path uses this ability.
(The Deva Path using Bansho Ten'in while the Asura Path stands next to him)Banshō Ten'in
(lit. Heavenly Attraction of All of Creation; Universal Pull)
Banshō Ten'in is a technique similar to Shinra Tensei in that it apparently "manipulates gravity" at the users will. However instead of pushing objects away, it draws them towards the user. It has the same five second limit as the Shinra Tensei. It is possible to attract multiple targets at once as it is an area-of-effect ability, causing them to collide with each other. Also, like Shinra Tensei, it is possible to dig ones self into the ground by either focuses their Reiatsu into the ground, or adding weight/mass to their body, though rarely does this completely
prevent the individual from moving. Even if Nagato's energy is removed, or energy-use is removed from combat, Nagato still has access to this ability since it doesn't technically use any energy nor is it technically gravity-based, so cancelling gravity powers doesn't work either. While Shinra Tensei does not require spiritual energy to use, it is physically draining instead, taking an appropriate amount of physical energy to use. Also, sufficiently strong and fast individuals may "force" their way out, resisting Shinra Tensei and perhaps even escaping it's grasp. Similar to Shinra Tensei, this just means horrendously powerful individuals can slow down its effects however the likeliness of successfully accomplishing this is low. Like Shinra Tensei, Banshō Ten'in is capable of working on individuals and objects immune to the effects of spiritual energy and abilities (such as sekisekki stone) and provides a pathway for Nagato to defeat those who are especially effective against ability-based combatants. While in Ressureccion, the Deva Path uses this ability. Weapon of the 6 PathsSealed Zanpakutô:
Nagatos Zanpakutō is odd, in that he has 5 of them. His Zanpakutō consists of 5 pitch-black blades that he has hidden all over his body. Each blade is roughly 28 inches in length, and relatively thin. They dont have hilts, and instead, their handles are just blunt areas on the blades. The blades themselves are very sharp, able to cut through most objects, and are also quite durable, as they are each part of a Zanpakutō. Their main trait is their light weight. Due to their very low weight, they can be swung with very high speed, and can all be used at once quite easily, because of the lack of extra mass on Nagatos body that would otherwise wear him down.SKILLS

-------------------------------------------------The Paths of Pain
Seis Rutas (6 Paths)Resereccion Release Phrase:
"Go down the Paths, Seis Rutas"Release Actions:
In order for Nagato to release his Zanpakutō and use his Ressureccion form, he must perform one simple action. By taking one of his blades and letting go of it, it will float in the air or be stabbed into the ground in front of him. Then, he places one of his hands at the tip of the blade, and a "seal" appears. He is then engulfed in a massive pillar of red energy, hiding what happens inside. After the energy begins to fade, Nagato disappears, and is replaced by 6 new bodies, all controlled by Nagato.Resereccion Appearance:
In Nagatos Ressureccion, he is replaced by 6 new bodies, though he controls each one through their thoughts. Each body is different, ranging from a young girl to a large, muscular man. Each body wears the same standard outfit that Nagato usually wears prior to releasing. All of their coats are black, except for the red clouds all over them, and have high collars that reach to about their chins. There is a zipper that extends all the way from the top to the bottom of the robes on the front of them, and are red. Each body also has odd black bars resembling his Zanpakuto that act as piercings and vary from body to body.Resereccion Abilities:Field of Vision:
When the paths are active together in battle, Nagato is able to see through their eyes, thus registering six separate fields of vision at the same time. Essentially working as shared vision for the paths, this allows Nagato to coordinate their attacks and to provide defense for them without a blind spot. This means it is close to impossible to land a surprise attack on one of the bodies, especially in large open areas, so long as they can watch over each other. Though, if the bodies are separated by walls or anything like walls, this ability is pointless, as they cannot watch each others backs. This doesn't apply to normal walls as the Sējigan can see through physical objects. However, due to the fact that he can see through every body at once, he is also very well suited for fighting multiple opponents at once. This connection can make it incredibly frustrating to combat Nagato while in his Ressureccion because while it not only leaves very few, if any, openings, but due to both communicating between the individual Paths and being the Paths themselves, soul disruption-like abilities aren't effective against him. It's also important to note attempting to influence an individual body or control one would also be rendered moot because it would be the same as trying to do such a thing to Nagato in his base form. Finally, attempting to cut off the connection between any Path and the rest using illusions, energy abilities, or physical means is not possible as it would be like moving two cellphones away from each other; it does nothing to their communication whatsoever. Deva Path (God Realm)Appearance
The Deva Path is the most "normal" looking Path of the 6 in Nagatos Ressureccion. The body bears six piercings, a metal bar through each ear, three studs through the side of its upper nose, and one spike stud on each end of the bottom lip. It also has three piercings on each wrist, at least one on its upper wrist and some just under his neck. He possesses the same eyes as Nagato, and has vibrant orange, spiky hair that is of medium length. His hair is held up by a black headband that extends around his entire head. On the front of the headband, there is a metal plate with 4 tally-like markings on it, and is scratched out.Powers and Abilities:High Speed:
The Deva Path possesses a level of speed higher than that of Nagato in his sealed state, and as such is an extremely dangerous combatant, despite the fact that this form isn't the primary combat Path. This Path is incredibly tough to catch, and nearly as difficult to even see when it's moving, to the point where he can attack from multiple directions despite not even appearing to move in the first place. When combined with its other very high stats and characteristics, this Path is likely the most dangerous of them all, and the fact that it is the only one that shares powers with the base sealed form of Nagato hints at this. The Deva Path can cross massive distances essentially instantly and without warning, as without using Banido, its movements are completely silent due to moving so quickly. Its movements in battle allow the Deva Path to remain safe at almost all times. By utilizing this speed Deva Path will usually stay behind the others near the Naraka Path, acting as a last line of defense for the most vulnerable and important of the six. Physical Strength:
The Deva Path also possesses an incredible amount of physical strength, allowing it to fight extremely powerful physical fighters without even breaking a sweat. With a mere flick, the Deva Path is easily capable of sending a large and heavy object, or even a person, crashing through many buildings. While the Asura Path surpasses it in raw physical power, the Deva Path is much more refined, and thus nearly as dangerous as it would be much more likely to put its strength to better use. This is displayed often, as this Path is capable of launching another Path across an entire city with sheer power alone. Also, using its physical power in its legs, the Deva Path can launch itself extremely high into the air, allowing him to jump far above the rooftops of skyscrapers near instantly. As stated before, Deva is not as physically strong as Asura but is usually used as the last line of defense, allowing Nagato to funnel all his knowledge and combative skill into it without worrying much about the other Paths. This means Deva's strength is utilized to maximum efficiency, though it is not as physically dangerous as Asura or Naraka.Durability and Endurance:
The Deva Path possesses the same special custom form of Hierro as the sealed state Nagato does, except on an even higher level. During his release into his Ressureccion form, much of the energy that explodes out from his body is used to reinforce the Hierro of his Paths, meaning even the least durable Path has a Hierro higher than normal Nagato. The Deva Path's Hierro is especially powerful because it is the second strongest Hierro of all the Paths, behind only the Asura Path in sheer durability. Deva's Hierro allows it to tank multiple high level Kido and Cero attacks in rapid succession, even from individuals near or around Nagato's power level. Attempting to fight Deva in close quarters is usually a recipe for disaster for its foe as they are usually more likely to injure themselves striking him than they are to actually harm it. As far as endurance goes, the Deva Path possesses the best endurance of all six paths, allowing it to fight on even after the others collapse due to varying reasons. This means this Path is almost always the last one fighting if the other Paths are some how miraculously destroyed or crippled.Shinra Tensei
(lit. Heavenly Subjugation of the Omnipresent God; Almighty Push)
The Deva Path is Nagatos main path, and thus can use Shinra Tensei. Shinra Tensei is the ability to manipulate gravity at the user's will to repulse matter away, however that isn't entirely accurate. It isn't as simple as "gravity" because other gravity users cannot negate or stop it, and people/abilities immune to gravity are not immune to Shinra Tensei. It's more accurate to say it's the manipulation of space or reality. Depending on the amount of force the user puts in this technique, it can easily shatter wood, bones, metal, or stone walls. By using this technique as a defensive measure, almost all attacks directed to the user will be deflected, no matter the size, power or mass (its to be noted that the larger the attack, the more energy Nagato needs to use this ability). It can also be used to repel flames caught on the user's body. The only downside to this technique is that there is a short period when it is unusable after being used. The minimal time period is about five seconds, but it varies depending on the amount of power put into the attack. The primary difference between the Deva Path's Shinra Tensei and the one Nagato uses normally is just how much more powerful this version is than it's counterpart. The difference is pretty noticeable, and if someone was somehow able to dampen the effects of the base version then the only way to keep that up against the Deva Path would be to use a stronger form or release. Otherwise, they just wouldn't be able to do what they'd done previously. Uniquely, the Deva Path can even repulse metaphysical abilities and concepts (specifically things like attempts to mentally or spiritually influence or damage it, and dampening effects).Banshō Ten'in
(lit. Heavenly Attraction of All of Creation; Universal Pull)
As Nagatos main Ressureccion Path, the Deva Path is able to use Bansho Ten'in. Banshō Ten'in is a technique similar to Shinra Tensei in that it "manipulates gravity" at the users will. However instead of pushing objects away, it draws them towards the user (same with Shinra Tensei, the size of the object(s) being pulled determines the amount of energy needed to use this technique). It has the same five second limit as the Shinra Tensei. It is possible to attract multiple targets at once, causing them to collide with each other. Also, like Shinra Tensei, it is possible to dig ones self into the ground by either focusing their Reitsu into the ground, or adding weight/mass. Being an even stronger version than the normal Nagato's Shinra Tensei, this ability is incredibly powerful and is that much more difficult to resist.
________________________________________________________________Asura Path (Demon Realm)Appearance
This body has the strangest facial features and perhaps body type as well, of all of Nagatos 6 Paths. The body is of a tall, bald man, with an unusual and large body shape, possessing a very thick neck, no ears and a large jaw. He also has the same eyes as Nagato, as do all 6 Paths in his Ressureccion. It is the only body not to have orange hair, though to be fair, it doesn't have any hair at all. It has a vertical ring piercing on its nose, six spike studs all around its head, three studs on the top and bottom of each of its six arms, an enormous cylindrical stud on its chin, and two vertical studs on each of its upper cheeks. The body has three faces, each with a different expression, and two of which appeared from the sides of its head only when it removes its cloak in a fight: happy (its normal face), angry, and neutral. It also has a long, saw-like "tail" which stretched from his back over his head.Powers and Abilities:Physical Strength:
The Asura Path is by far the strongest of all Paths, physically that is. Due to his mechanized body structure, he can generate a lot of force compared to that of the other Paths. He possesses physical strength far above average, and is strong enough to even rip limbs off of its enemies. A basic strategy of the Paths is for Asura to pick up and throw another Path far away, sending them flying for even miles. This Path tends to be used as the primary fighting Path, due to not only its strength, but its special ability. The pure physical power this Path possess is enough to easily keep power specialists on their toes, and is thus able to inflict extreme damage on its targets in close quarters combat. Asura is significantly stronger than Nagato's base form, and is able to cause mass destruction on a national scale. In fact, while in Ressureccion Nagato will even have Asura fight his foes single handedly while the others stay back and either provide support or remain out of combat. While Asura's unique ability lends itself to battle, its raw power is as important.Durability:
The Asura Path possesses the most durability of all Paths, due to its incredible strength and special power. Its Hierro is much stronger than that of the other Paths, and is able to take much more damage than the other Paths as well. Due to its very dense metal body, it also has another line of defense, since it is basically a cyborg. Even though his body is made of metal, he does not suffer from a weakness of fire or the usual degradation metals may face. Also, since he can get a maximum of 6 arms at once, he can produce that much more force, and can even use those arms as protection. The Asura Path possesses durability and a level of Hierro never seen before, and discounting Nagato's Segunda Etapa, possesses one of the most durable bodies of all time. This is another reason Asura is the vanguard of the Paths, always ready to do battle and ensure the other Paths remain unharmed. Oftentimes Asura will be used as a physical shield for the others as it can tank multiple powerful attacks directly.Mechanical Body:
Among the Paths, Asura has perhaps the most unique ability due to it being arguably the most unexpected. Asura possesses the ability to mechanize its body, essentially operating as an android will total control over how it can shape itself. It is shown to have robotic inner workings, possessing six arms, each being connected to his body by a separate shoulder, three faces (each with its own "emotion"), and has a folded, serrated blade-like sash around its waist. It can also protrude a similar set of flexible blades from one of its arms. It has a metal saw-like tail that is quite long and very durable. It can fire one of its left forearms off as a long-range projectile, and could pull out his arms to reveal and fire a cluster of segmented missiles at its targets. It can quickly propel itself forward with a burst of Spiritual Power from its boots, and could protract multiple blades and drills from its right arm in combat. Also, it can open up the crown of its head to release a powerful Reitsu blast that is capable of destroying numerous buildings at once. This blast is capable of reducing an entire town to dust, and is many times stronger than even a Gran Rey Cero, proving it's powerful capabilities. Asura can turn its arms into powerful beam cannons or missile launchers, both of which can reliably turn many opponents to dust. As such, this Path has by far the most destructive capability of them all and can cause ruination on a grand scale, making it a one-man army. Worth pointing out the energy blasts can be just as draining as using any other kind energy-based ability, like Cero.
________________________________________________________________Human Path (Human Realm)Appearance:
The Human Path is a quite tall, and relatively slender man. He has long, loose, vibrant orange hair, that extends past the base of his neck, and his bangs are held in by his headband, which appears exactly like the others'. It had multiple piercings, including a diagonal bar through its nose, two circular studs in a vertical row on each of its cheeks, two studs placed horizontally on its chin, and a stud on each of its shoulders near its neck. The diagonal nose piercing makes it the only Pain Path with asymmetrical facial piercings. It is the tallest of all the Paths.Powers and Abilities:High Speed:
The Human Path is a very capable fighter, despite his utility/metaphysical-type special abilities. One main factor that supports this is his raw speed when moving and fighting. When he is moving, he possesses perhaps the second highest speed of any of the 6 Paths of Pain Ressureccion. He is able to move very fast, high above that of average on Nagato's level. This means he is also quite gifted in Sonido, being able to travel faster than most, and even leave afterimages behind in his wake. When fighting, he also possesses high speed in his strikes and blows, being able to add damage from the speed, increasing the amount of force he can generate considerably. Due to this, he tends to fight with quick blows in rapid succession, instead of trying to land heavy blows, similar to Nagato's regular hand to hand combat style. When the Deva path is out openly fighting, this path should be watched out for due to its tremendous speed.Physical Strength:
Oddly enough, the Human path also possesses higher than average physical strength. he is strong enough to easily toss large metal beams away, and even lift the tremendously heavy Asura Path. He can demolish boulders from punching, and can send enemies flying straight through buildings. Though above average, he does not excel in physical strength overall, something his "opposite Path", the Asura path does. By adding speed to his blows, he can exponentially increase the amount of force created from his attacks, making himself all the more deadly in Close Quarters Combat. He is easily strong enough to overpower the vast majority of people he many encounter, and thus shouldn't be taken lightly. Due to being one of the easier Paths to overpower strength-wise, Human is usually one of the last to enter the fray and is more effective at staying in the middle of them with Asura in front and Naraka behind it.Enlightened Judgment:
Unlike the other Paths which have very clear and direct abilities, Human stands out like a sore thumb. This is due to the nature of the Path, which while physically capable, is usually the first Nagato is willing to let die while in his Ressureccion. Its ability, Enlightened Judgment, focuses on utility and metaphysically disrupting Nagato's opponents. The most simplistic of its uses is to Judge the other Paths, which always leads to Human deeming them "enlightened", removing all debuffs and effects currently influencing them. Against foes, Human Path will Judge them and determine how close they are to "enlightenment". This rating is based on their interactions with Nagato; For instance, an individual who swears total fealty to him is closer to "enlightenment" than not, while someone who continuously fights against the Arrancar will be deemed unworthy and of weak spirit. Again, on the most simplistic of level this results in the removal of buffs from Human's target. However, there are more complicated aspects to this ability.
Those deemed ignorant and unenlightened by Human Path are interrupted in more ways than one. Their connection to their abilities is harmed the most, making it incredibly more difficult for the victim to utilize their strengths. As an example, against a Shinigami it would be as if they only just unlocked their Shikai if they attempted to use it instead of having mastered the release. This is due to Human Path finding them impure and corrupted, thus severing the link to their attachments in the world. Being Judged can cripple those too dependent on their special abilities, showing the error of their ways and displaying their ignorance to the heavens. The last effect being Judged can have on an individual is the revelation of their inner most desires, and then multiplying it three-fold. For example, if Human Path's victim seeks to become stronger this desire will grow until it overwhelms them, forcing the individual to desperately crave power above all else, including the safety of their allies. Or if their desire is to protect their loved ones, it will be greatly "enhanced" until the thought foremost on their mind is the crippling fear their friends and family will be harmed or destroyed.
Enlightened Judgment is able to be used on a single individual at a time within five hundred yards of Human Path's physical location. While this makes it ineffective against groups of enemies, the ability to craze one person can sew chaos among entire armies. While the initial effect of this ability can be severe, it takes anywhere between 1-5 posting rounds and 8 for GM to fully cripple the victim depending on their Willpower skill (1 for beginner, 2 for adept, etc), though it is possible to fight through it, albeit while constantly mentally struggling. This doesn't include abilities victims can use to make this effect take longer to ramp up. He cannot switch targets while the effect is ramping up. The use of this ability requires a constant channeled energy connection between Human Path and its target. Once an individual has been Judged, it takes 3 posting rounds for their mental to completely recover (though with suitable fatigue depending on the severity of their Judgment).
________________________________________________________________Animal Path (Animal Realm)Appearance
The body of the Animal Path is of a young girl, making it Pain's only female body. Like all other Paths of Pain, the Animal Path possesses the same eyes as all other Paths of Pain. She is the shortest Path of all 6, being only about 5'5". This Path has orange hair tied together in a sort of onion-like bun at the top of the head, with spikes of hair protruding out of it. It has one stud above the nose, studs on either side of the neck, a row of studs vertically down each cheek, a stud below each stud on the neck, two studs on each forearm. She also wears the same basic robes and outfit as the other Paths, as well as Nagato, wear, albeit shorter. Also, she wears the same headband they do as well, with the same exact metal plate on the front.Powers and Abilities:Close Quarters Combatant:
Though not a fighter due to her specific role, and her size, she does possess some ability in hand to hand combat, such as being able utilize multiple fighting styles at once. Though she is actually slightly less than average in both speed and strength compared to her fellow Paths, her skillful attacks and fighting techniques let her fend for herself without too much worry of quick elimination. When she fights, she strikes every point on the opponents body, using her nimbleness and size to her advantage by attacking in circles around the opponents body, usually aiming for pressure points and such. However, this Path possesses the lowest durability of them all, and instead resorts to using summons for protection.Summoning Techniques:
The Animal Path's special ability is being able to summon various monsters for use in both combat and support with the other Paths. By putting her fists together, she can bring in monsters that can only be described as hideous behemoths. All of the summons possess the same eyes as the Paths as well as Nagato, and thus their sensory connection to eachother. The summoned beasts also possess incredible strength, durability, and combat capabilities to the point of easily being able to go toe-to-toe with captain level fighters on an individual level. This gives Nagato even more combat strength against large groups of enemies while in his Ressureccion. The main downside is once a summon is defeated in battle, it cannot be summoned for the duration of the thread. It also takes a considerable amount of energy to summon these powerful beasts, though due to his natural tremendous reserves it doesn't necessarily stop Animal Path from bringing forth multiple in a row.
Atomos, World EaterDescription:
This eldritch abomination can only be described as a gaping abyss. Its body consists largely of a gigantic, hundred yard-tall mouth covered in variously sized spikes and horns. Its maw possesses large blade-like teeth on the top and bottom with a gigantic horn-tipped tendril on either of the mouth's lower corners. The rest of the body takes the form of a wide tail covered in spikes all the way to its tip. Atop its head sits multiple horns that almost resemble a crown, though are much more sinister in appearance. This summon possesses the ability to act like a vacuum, sucking in anything and everything in the vicinity on a humongous scale. This vacuum ability produces winds strong enough to tear apart concrete and steel rebar, allowing it to break apart and pull entire buildings out of the ground. Atomos can reduce an entire city to rubble, and then sick in and consume that rubble too. That's because it's "stomach" is essentially boundless, and crushes whatever the beast devours. However, that isn't the limit to what Atomos can do. Once it has sucked in a suitable amount of rubble, earth, or anything else, it can then reverse its ability and send all of it out like a tornado spitting out entire houses and vehicles. It usually takes 3 to 4 posting rounds to obliterate a city, depending on its size, (takes longer depending on the location's barriers and defenses) and can consume energy blasts without harming itself.
Gogoroth, the Chameleon:Description:
This summon is a large chimera-like chameleon with snake for a tail. Like all of Nagato's summons, it has a number of body piercings and his eyes, implying that it is being controlled. Much like a real-life chameleon, this creature can also blend with its surroundings for camouflage, so perfectly that it renders itself completely invisible to other viewers around. This ability has been used by the Animal Path of to step inside the chameleon's mouth and attack his opponents by surprise. Also, it as well as anything inside it don't give off Reiatsu or heat, rendering it essentially completely undetectable. Another reptilian trait that the chameleon shows is the ability to crawl on vertical and inclined surfaces, such as walls. Also, it has exhibited great destruction capabilities, being able to topple houses, though this is likely because of its size. The snake-tail can be used as a prehensile limb, to be able to grab and capture intended targets for Nagato with its long, sticky tongue. It produces no sound, heat, causes no tremors as it moves (despite its size), and is undetectable regardless of sensory or detection abilities. It cannot maintain its invisibility while attacking.
Carcinus, the Giant CrustaceanDescription:
A large crustacean, this summon has a number of body piercing as it is being controlled by Pain. This summon can shoot powerful bubbles at high velocities by forming the bubbles in its body, and then releasing them from its mouth. These blasts of bubbles are surprisingly effective, being able to tear through structures and defenses like a hot knife through butter. On impact, these bubbles can explode and cause tremendous area-of-effect damage, ripping apart buildings like they're Lego with the resulting tremendous shock waves. Also, because of its shell, it can be used as a "wall" or "shield" to protect the Animal Path from harm, though it is by no means indestructible. Its claws have incredible piercing and clamping power, allowing Carcinus to slice apart solid objects and crush even hyper durable individuals and enemy creations.
Kargadann, the Giant Rhinoceros:Description:
A large rhinoceros, this summon has a number of body piercings and Nagato's eyes, implying it is being controlled by Nagato. This summon is utterly massive, being very bulky and weighing over fifty tons and measuring in at twenty yards tall. It has a tough, think hide which protects it from attacks, and also has a huge, sharp horn at the end of its snout. Despite its size, it can actually move quite fast as well, making it the physically strongest summon the Animal path can bring onto the battlefield. The Rhino is extremely powerful, and is more difficult to stop using physical strength or barriers than his other summons. It is also rather durable, possessing a harder-than-steel hide that acts like a suit of armor. Kargadann's ability to rush down and trample enemies is unrivaled, particularly due to its horn's unique ability: The tip of the rhino's massive horn can twist the air around it, creating a powerful piercing effect from the cyclonic distortion.
_________________________________________________________________Preta Path (Hungry Ghost Realm)Appearance
The Path has a large, bulky body, and even appears relatively overweight. The Preta Path, like all of the Six Paths, possesses Nagato's eyes. It has orange hair tied in a short ponytail. It has small spiked piercings covering its entire bottom lip, two vertical spike studs on the front of his nose, two spike studs (one on each cheek), a metal spike going through each ear, and a stud on his shoulder, one on each side, close to his neck. Like every Path, the Preta Path wears the same outfit and headband. However, this Paths outfit is slightly larger than the others, though this is probably to accommodate his extra weight.Powers and Abilities:Physical Body:
Due to the fact that this body is relatively large, it does possess a good amount of physical strength that it can utilize in and out of battle. Its physical strength is comparably high to the Animal Path, though it probably doesn't exceed that of the Human Path's physical strength. While he is strong enough to shatter boulders from a punch (which is relatively average compared to most), he cannot put much speed behind his blows, and thus cannot deliver strikes as strong as his full physical potential warrants. This makes him a relatively poor Hakuda fighter, though his powers are more defensive anyway. Speed:
The Preta Path is easily the slowest [physically] of all of Nagatos' Ressureccion Paths. This is due to not only his larger weight and mass, but also because he is a defense-based Path of Pain. This means he cannot dodge very well (though with his abilities he doesnt really need to, to be honest). He also can't fight very well because of his weight and his speed, or lack thereof. He tends to be in the back, with the Naraka Path and the Deva Path, protecting both from danger and enemies that seek to inflict harm upon them. However, being the slowest out of some of the fastest beings alive certainly does not mean this Path is, by any means, slow.Energy Absorption/Negation:
The Hungry Ghost Path, also called the Preta Path, has one ability and one ability only: the power to absorb and negate energy. However, this needs to be explained in full as its function and mechanics aren't so cut and dry. First off, its appearance: when this ability is in effect, the Preta Path would be holding his hands in the direction of the attack coming towards him, and a translucent blue sphere would surround his body as he uses this technique. Next is its mechanics. When spiritual energy or really any form of energy not coming from Nagato (aka any Paths) makes contact with this shield, it is immediately sucked into the sphere surrounding Preta, and both nullified and partially absorbed. The Preta Path can only use about fifteen percent of the energy absorbed in order to prevent energy corruption, which is essentially special effects of an opponent's energy attack affecting the Preta Path, as well as to prevent being overloaded with power. Also, the energy absorbed would be closer to twenty percent, but some of the absorbed energy is used to power the absorption itself. Energy absorbed is immediately converted to a usable version, which means even energy like that used by Nature Iramasha is still useful to absorb. It should also be noted that size of the energy attack is what determines the length of time it takes to absorb, with larger, more powerful energy attacks taking longer. The energy the Preta Path absorbs can be used to either make itself stronger, or can be shared with the other Paths. Due to this ability, the Preta Path should be targeted by physical attacks because it isn't as strong as the other combat Paths, and is still susceptible to physical assaults. However this ability alone makes going after other Paths with energy based attacks extremely dangerous as not only with your ability end up negated, but it would also provide time for a more physically capable Path to engage on you. It's worth noting while there isn't any worry of not being able to absorb and negate the most powerful of attacks due to Preta Path merely spreading out the absorption over a longer period of time. However, the longer it takes to absorb an enemy attack the longer Preta is vulnerable to its other enemies.
____________________________________________________________Naraka Path (Hell Realm)Appearance:
The Naraka Path appears to be a tall, stocky, and well-muscled man of about 6'7". The Naraka Path, like all 6 Paths, possesses the same, familiar eyes that Nagato has when sealed or in Segunda. The Naraka Path has a very wide chin. It had a spiky mop of orange hair. It has multiple body piercings, such as a circular stud on the bridge of its nose, a diagonal row of studs on each of its cheeks, three spike piercings in each of its ears, and a stud on each of its shoulders near its neck. Like all Paths, the Naraka Path wears the same basic clothing as the others do, with the red cloud robe and the slashed out headband.Powers and Abilities:Physical Strength:
The Naraka Path is quite large, and thus possesses a considerable amount of physical strength. His large stature and developed muscles allow him to crush boulders, and send opponents flying through buildings. He is also quite heavy, meaning it is difficult to make him move by either pushing him or blasting him with attacks such as the Cero or a large amount of Kidō. Though he possesses remarkable physical strength, he is still somewhat slow, and as such isnt one of the better Paths when it comes to fighting, and due to his own Path abilities and such, tends to be protected by every other Path, including the usually out-of-combat Deva Path, which tends to hint at the Naraka Path's importance as a support-type. Speed:
The Naraka Path is the second slowest Path of all 6; only being faster than that of the Preta path. This means that the Naraka Path, while very strong physically, possesses a low amount of combat capability in comparison to the other Paths. Due to his lack of speed, he also suffers from "Protect Me Syndrome", which means he is often protected by faster Paths such as the Human Path or Deva Path. Though, he CAN still defend himself, even with the lack of speed, and is still a very dangerous and powerful fighter. Still, in close quarters combat he is vulnerable to getting outmaneuvered by fighters almost as fast as Nagato, though that bar is still quite high.Path Generation:
The most dangerous ability of perhaps all the Paths lies in the grasp of the Naraka Path. The Naraka Path possesses an extremely powerful ability that dabbles in the art of "rebirth" so to speak. This ability is actually the reconstitution and reconstruction of some of the Paths. By summoning the Hell king (not actual Satan), absorbing the body of the fallen Path, and then rebuilding it from the ground up. After its "revival", the Hell King spits out the now combat-capable Path. This ability essentially makes the other five Paths indestructible, as any Path destroyed can just be rebuilt to maximum power, wasting the efforts of Nagato's opponents. This also means Nagato can fight without worrying about the safety of the physically weaker Paths, and as such can deploy an even more aggressive combat style. Even a Path completely destroyed or even vaporized can be remade. However, each revival costs a significant amount of energy. Also, if the Naraka Path is destroyed, then no Paths can be remade, which usually results in enemies specifically targeting this Path, meaning Nagato has to spend time focusing on defending it. The main purpose of this ability is to allow weaker Paths like the Hungry Ghost Path to front line, since if they get damaged the Naraka Path can repair them while a stronger Path like Asura protects it. This type of battle strategy is what makes Nagato's Ressureccion so dangerous, as unless his enemies are very coordinated with each other or possess a high amount of knowledge of these abilities then they will very likely get wiped. It's worth noting only one Path can be rebuilt or revived at a time.
Sabio de Seis Rutas (Sage of 6 Paths)Segunda Release Phrase:
"Join the One Path, Sabio de Seis Rutas"SegundaRelease Actions:
No matter what position they are in (defeated or otherwise), all of the Paths begin to glow a brilliant red, and appear to "become" energy itself. Then, all of the Paths shoot forward into one central spot, and begin to combine their bodies and energy. A massive pillar of bright red energy (almost resembling that of fire) forms, and the bodies combine inside the pillar. After the energy fades, Nagato's new form can be seen from the smoke.Segunda Appearance:
Segunda Abilities:*Aside from the Naraka Path, Nagato retains his Ressureccion abilities.Incredible Speed:
Nagato's speed is ludicrously high in this form, as it is practically all of his Paths' speed combined. He can move so quickly at this point, that he makes his previous forms look like they were moving in slow motion. He seems to instantaneously teleport, but in reality he is just moving at a relatively moderate speed level for himself. Without using Sonido, when he moves at max speed, it sounds as though he is lightning, as thunder occurs in his wake, creating loud booms across the battle field. This is why his normal speed and Sonido are mixed up in this form by opponents. Though, his Sonido is actually silent as not even sound can keep up with it, and as such seems like he is truly teleporting. Using numbers to measure his speed is pointless when Nagato is in this form, and it's more accurate to say he just disappears and reappears when moving. Immense Physical Strength:
Like all of his other traits, his raw physical strength is increased quite a bit in this form as well. Even without his strength, the momentum he can build up in a punch from his speed is insane alone. That, coupled with the fact that he does in fact have a high strength level, allows him to cause massive damage with basic attacks. His strength is far above even the Asura Path, which was the (physically) strongest Path in his 6 Paths of Pein Ressureccion. Nagato is strong enough in this form to create massive craters in the ground by simply dropping his foot to the ground. A punch from him can easily cause massive holes to appear in a person's body, even if he doesn't make contact. To say his physical strength is immeasurably high is an understatement. However, this is all pretty much the norm for individuals on his level and compared to strength specialists he doesn't stand out.Ludicrous Spiritual Power:
At this point, it would be wrong to say his level of spiritual energy wasnt absolutely ridiculous. Even for someone of his level, he is still high among those of his power level. Even if he were to attempt to hide his power, it would still be too much for a lot of humans and spiritually unaware beings. At full mass, he can make weaker opens drop to the ground in a traditional Chinese bowing position, making it seem as though they are bowing to him and basically declaring him their king/emperor/god. Nagato has been known to vaporize low level Arrancar just by being near them, and any solid surface he touches or goes near is vaporized as well. His spiritual pressure causes space and time to distort around his body, eliminating the effects of time-based powers on him, as well as making it dangerous to even stand in his general vicinity. This usually effects others by disrupting their ability to use energy attacks somewhat while within a few meters of Nagato's body.Increased Durability:
Nagatos basic defense and durability of both his Hierro and his regular body increase dramatically in this form. Nagato's Hierro while in his Segunda Etapa is virtually unbreakable, as it can be considered to be the ultimate defense in this form. Not only does impact force mean seemingly nothing to Nagato as even extremely powerful physical blows can be brushed aside, but sharp objects are essentially treated as blunt weapons against him. Even some of the sharpest of blades would be unable to cut through his Hierro. Also, while in this form Nagato gains a major boost in his natural durability due to his skin hardening and becoming like stone in comparison to normal human skin. As a matter of fact, the difference between his natural defense in this form compared to that of the Asura Path's is like stone compared to paper; the difference is that dramatic. For individuals not in their final forms, using their maximum power output, attempting to injure Nagato can seem insurmountable. However it's worth noting while his durability is incredible, all of this predicates on his Hierro existing as well. Without his Hierro, Nagato's durability is not nearly as insurmountable as it seems. Shinra Tensei
(lit. Heavenly Subjugation of the Omnipresent God; Almighty Push)
However, due to his increased power in general in his Segunda etapa, his Shinra Tensei also gains a large boost in power. At this point, Nagato's Shinra Tensei is god-like in power, staying true to its name. The almighty force with which this technique pushes can reduce the center of a city to rubble while still maintaining the lowest possible time delay. By putting his full power into it, and increasing the cooldown considerably, Shinra Tensei has the potential to cause destruction on an international scale. It has been said nothing can withstand its force, or at least nothing Nagato has come across thus far.Banshō Ten'in
(lit. Heavenly Attraction of All of Creation; Universal Pull)
Also, like Shinra Tensei, it is possible to dig ones self into the ground by either focuses their Reitsu into the ground, or adding weight/mass to their body. It has trouble pulling objects that are shaped like squares or rectangles. In his Segunda form, Nagato's Bansho Ten'in ability becomes much stronger. By using it on a building, he can tear it to shreds, pulling piece by piece off until there is virtually nothing left. A single use of this technique can demolish a pathway straight through an entire city. That is the true power of the Bansho Ten'in.Chibaku Tensei [EVENT ONLY]
(lit. Heavenly Body Bursting from the Earth; Planetary Destruction)
The user creates a dark black sphere of 'gravity' that, when thrown into the sky, attracts objects from all directions and pulls them into the sphere, compressing them together. This sphere is extremely difficult to destroy, to the point where only a person's strongest ability has hope of destroying it for good. The surrounding earth, including entire forests and mountains, are collected into a single point, piling on top of one another until it creates a monstrously large sphere. A huge crater much larger than even the largest of cities is left where the earth has been collected from. This ability is extremely powerful, able to basically create entire moons, which it has been used to do multiple times before. The force at which the Chibaku Tensei pulls objects in towards it is many, many times that of Earths gravity, which is enough to rip hundreds of thousands of tons of land up and into it, compacting it until it is gigantic, and obviously because it works similarly to increased gravity, it doesn't instantly pick things up (it is implied he can actually create one the size of Earth's moon, though he would need a tremendous amount of energy to do such a thing). This ability is so tremendously powerful, it can be compared to that of a god's, for it can turn entire countries into barren craters with little trouble. Chibaku Tensei doesn't continuously sap Nagato's energy, as it is a one-shot type ability. Due to it being his strongest Segunda ability, it takes more energy than any other Segunda ability of his. Also, to increase the size and strength of Chibaku Tensei requires exponentially more energy. While destroying a city may not require much in comparison to his entire energy pool, destroying a country or continent can set him back considerably and shorten the duration of his Segunda Etapa depending on how long he's been in it. Powerful enough attacks can slow down the Chibaku Tensei, and repeated maximum power energy blasts could even potentially destroy the sphere itself, though it would likely require as much or more energy than the Chibaku in question.Summoning: Shin Sūenju [EVENT ONLY]
While in his Segunda Etapa state, Nagato loses access to all of the previous summons he could use while in his Ressureccion. However, he instead gains access to a single summon to use instead: Shin Sūsenju, "True Several Thousand Hands". By slamming his hands together into a prayer-like formation, Nagato can activate the lock on this summon, meaning he can bring it into the real world. After this is done, a massive cloud of white smoke appears behind Nagato, and after it dissipates, this figure is seen sitting down. Shin Sūsenju's most noteworthy characteristic is its size, however that is an obvious understatement. Being many thousands of meters tall, as well as possessing an equal width, this hulking behemoth towers over essentially anything and everything. This colossal Buddha-statue-resembling summon is so large, it can grip the entire thickness of Doctor Kabuto Hebi's summon Victor II, which is a snake of such massive proportions it takes up half the size of Karakura City. This means this statue is larger than arguably the largest living creature in the world. It has been known to dwarf entire mountain ranges and that's without even standing up. When it stands up, it appears even taller. It resembles a Buddha statue slightly, and has, as its name suggests, several thousand hands that reach out from its back that reach upwards, as well as to the left and right, forming a half-circle behind the statue.
First off, this statue-esque monstrosity is extremely durable to the point of being nigh-indestructible. Even extremely powerful attacks do nothing to it, and for the most part even if said attacks could damage it, it's size and bulk means it is still a small amount in comparison to its size. This isn't to say those on Nagato's level cannot damage or destroy it, it just takes equally strong powers. However, this isn't just a statue that doesn't move; nay, instead it can move as though it were a sentient being. However, it instead has its every movement controlled telepathically by Nagato, who can make it stand up, walk around, or even attack. In order to attack, Shin Sūsenju utilizes the thousands of hands upon its back in order to strike down at targets by thrusting the hands/arms in the direction of the intended victim. By striking with all of the hands on its back simultaneously, Shin Sūsenju can destroy massive areas in a matter of seconds. Such a powerful summon has its drawbacks, however. First off, once destroyed this summon cannot be brought back in the span of a thread. Also, as the ability title says, this can only be used in threads categorized as Events due to its tremendous power. Finally, this summoning requires more energy to bring into the world than any other ability in Nagato's entire arsenal and, like Chibaku Tensei, can decrease the duration of his Segunda Etapa. Also, it requires constant intense focus to maintain control over the summon and its actions. This causes physical exhaustion over time, and when Nagato is defeated or knocked unconscious it breaks down and disappears.Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō:
This ability replaces the Tensei/Ten'in abilities as Nagato's most commonly used power while in his Segunda Etapa. This is because while the other abilities are powerful, Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō is even more so, and is also much more versatile than basic push/pull abilities. As a matter of fact, this ability is so versatile, it allows Nagato to fight entire battles without having to use anything else, and can be used for all three major categories of combat abilities: Offensive, Defensive, and Supplementary. This means that while an opponent may only have powers or equipment that specialize in offense, such as a cannon-like weapon/ability, this ability can be used for essentially anything Nagato needs. Not only does this make this ability exceptionally dangerous, but it also makes it Nagato's most useful power as a whole. Thus it could be said that Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō is even more powerful than Chibaku Tensei due to versatility.
This ability is essentially the creation of an extremely useful material Nagato can use in combat. While he can create more or less, this material almost always forms seven distinct, floating orbs that levitate closely behind Nagato, as well as an eight at the back of his left hand. These orbs are pitch black in color, with a slight purplish hue to them. They automatically follow him wherever he goes, and he can also move them to other locations himself, or even make more spheres if he needs to do so. Because this material is so extremely malleable, to the point of Nagato being able to will them into anything he can imagine, they can take a variety of shapes; though, a specific few are used rather often compared to others. The primary shape is the basic sphere, however if he has them pierce through the back of his hands he can form blades, among other things. The lance shape involves him stretching it from his palm about four feet, and then he can use it to stab straight into enemies as well as pierce defenses. Nagato can also create barriers with this material, and cover himself in a protective shielding in order to protect himself from an enemy's offense. Their shape can also change dramatically; for instance, a regular sphere which is usually about seven inches in diameter can be expanded to a size larger than multiple city blocks, and rather quickly at that.
On we move to its special characteristics. First off, this material is incredibly durable, and is comparable to Nagato's Hierro and pure defensive capabilities combined while in his Segunda Etapa form. This makes the material quite resilient and ensures it has lasting power against the strongest of foes. Also, the material can be molded into shapes with edges sharp enough to cut through most of what it comes into contact with. This means a blade made of this material can do combat with an opponent's Zanpakutō without worry of it being damaged, while also allowing him to damage weaker weapons with it. The versatility doesn't end there, however, as there are a few more features of this tremendous power.
When this ability is used for offensive purposes, it possesses essentially penetration that pierces through 50% of a target's bonus defenses. This means even if an opponent uses an ability that enhances their defenses, this malleable black material ignores half of said bonuses and is still able to hit them quite hard indeed. It also ignores passive abilities of anybody it strikes, rendering a Quincy's Blut and an Arrancar's Hierro useless against it, as it will tear through them like a hot knife through butter. Even passive abilities specifically used to counter an opponent's abilities are useless, as well as energy-negation powers as this is a 'material' not an 'energy', and possessing the capability to ignore negation-type abilities. However, it's important to point out this does not apply to base defenses and durability. There is one final special characteristic of the black material used by this ability: its destructive force. This material does not explode, nay; instead, it 'destroys'. Anything this material comes into contact with, besides Nagato or anything Nagato himself creates using other abilities, is hit with the destructive force of both an extremely powerful energy attack, as well as a city-destroying level explosive. As a matter of fact, this material can literally destroy mass itself as well as energy, which means technically every time this ability is used, the universe gets that much smaller. This is why this material can destroy an opponent so well, as absolutely anything it touches feels these destructive effects. By simply expanding one of the spheres to the size of a house near a target, anything hit by it would be destroyed, leaving a large crater where it struck. However, it's worth pointing out it doesn't automatically destroy things it touches, it merely hits them with destructive force. This means it can be defended against.
Utilizing all of these effects combined, Nagato moulds the material into the shape of pitch black shakujō. This staff is made of highly-concentrated Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō material, making it even more durable than when the spheres are used. This staff usually floats in front of Nagato's body, and controlled telekinetically like the rest of the black material, but Nagato also occasionally wields it himself. This staff weapon is very useful in combat thanks to the unique traits the material that makes it up possesses, and is also a powerful weapon even without said traits due to its length, and thus reach, as well as its shape that allows it to 'catch' an enemy's weapon using the ring on its top end.
However, like all powers, Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō has its downsides. First off, energy consumption: while not ridiculously consuming, this ability does take a good amount of energy to use. However, if the spheres don't do anything, then no energy is used up as they only require sustenance if manipulated in some way. Also, due to Nagato being the only person that wouldn't be damaged by it, it should not be used to help allies as they can be damaged just as badly as an opponent. Also, excluding the staff, the material cannot retain a changed shape for very long, and must revert back to the normal sphere form relatively soon after initially changing shape. This means he must constantly switch between the normal orbs and actual weapons or shields instead of being able to hold a weapon during the entire course of a fight (with the shakujo staff being the one exception). If Nagato were to somehow be separated from the orbs, he wouldn't be able to use them for defense as he cannot teleport them to himself. This means he must actively attempt to keep them near him in order to prevent separation, which is an important downside in and of itself.Shibōshasū Sonido:
This is, without a doubt, the ultimate form of Nagato's Sonido movement technique. Perhaps what proves the capabilities of this movement skill is the fact that it is only available to Nagato while in his Segunda Etapa form, the final and most powerful form known to the Arrancar species. While essentially all Sonido work as supplementary abilities as they primarily allow the users to move much more quickly than usually, this special form of the ability centers around more destructive capabilities. In his Segunda Etapa form, Nagato is able to move faster than ever, and as such hits his peak level of speed. This ability takes advantage of that fact. When Nagato uses Sonido in his Segunda form, he moves so quickly a special field around him forms that distorts everything within his personal space. This distortion field doesn't just distort, it hits the area around his body with destructive force. Now, the technique functions by utilizing this destructive field while he moves around with Sonido, which allows him to barrel straight through objects, leaving a large hole in his wake. This means he can essentially Sonido through physical and energy-based objects without having to become intangible, and without taking damage. Even some of the strongest of barriers cannot hold him back, and would end up with large holes in them. The amount of force this technique has behind it is measured in kilotons of TNT explosives. It should be noted that if Nagato had a normal form of Sonido in his Segunda, he wouldn't be moving as fast. This means the Shibōshasū Sonido is comparatively faster than other Sonido abilities used by equal level Arrancar.Muteki Hierro:
Like Nagato's Shibōshasū Sonido, this is the ultimate form of one of his racial techniques, more specifically his Steel Skin. Also like his special Sonido ability, Nagato's Hierro only takes this form while he is in his Segunda Etapa. Called the Muteki Hierro, or Invincible Steel Skin, this truly is the absolute peak of Hierro any Arrancar has ever achieved since the advent of the species. The basic structure of this protective armor involves the fusion of the four-layered Hierro of each Path from his Ressureccion, and then a combination of all six Hierros. This essentially results in armor six times as effective as the original version, except it doesn't end there. The Hierro itself will settle into his skin in Segunda, meaning instead of his Hierro and specially-hardened skin he gets in this form working as separate layers of defense, they instead combine their overall durability. However, this isn't even counting the additional energy Nagato releases in his Segunda. Basically, when he releases into his Segunda, an absolute massive burst of energy is shot out of his body after the Paths combine, however the energy shortly condenses after spreading, and then combines with his Hierro, boosting it even further. All of these processes combined result in an armor of Reiatsu so dense and durable that it even has the capability of negating damage against Nagato in any form (as in, it can defend against any kind of ability), while completely negating space/time-based abilities as the pressure and density of the Hierro is simply too high to be altered by these types of abilities. It also means nearly everyone is susceptible to injuring themselves by trying to attack him physically, resulting in severe damage to whatever made contact with Nagato. Obviously Muteki Hierro isn't indestructible, but attempting to bypass or break it is usually an incredibly difficult endeavor even for those on Nagato's level.Tendōdama Cero:
The Tendōdama Cero has a simple function, which is the destruction of whatever it hits (like all Cero), but its energy makeup as well as specific creation parameters are a bit unusual compared to other energy attacks. To create this Cero, Nagato must combine negative white energy and positive black energy, forming a perfect fifty/fifty combination. After doing so, the energy is then spun around and formed into a sphere roughly a foot in diameter so that the two types of energy may thoroughly be mixed, as well as to condense said energy as much as possible. This perfect energy combination results in a relatively small black and white sphere that surpasses absolutely all forms of Cero Nagato has access to and, due to the tremendous amount of energy required to form it, is limited to Nagato's Segunda Etapa release state. After the sphere of energy is formed, Nagato can either keep it in that form until making it impact with an enemy, in which case it would explode into a huge inferno of energy capable of taking out some of the strongest of opponents, or he can immediately turn it into a gigantic blast of energy and aim it at a target. The destructive capabilities of this Cero are tremendous, even greater than that of a Cero Oscuras used by Nagato while in his Segunda Etapa form. Due to the specific makeup of this energy attack, it cannot be absorbed by any means whatsoever. Also, the reason why it is confined to his Segunda Etapa is due to the sheer amount of energy it requires to form and because it requires a level of balance and control impossible to reach in lower forms.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::The Ultimate Ocular Form // Eye Evolution
This transformation is a result of his age and training. Without his special eyes, he would never be able to obtain this form, but as he does possess such eyes, this form is now available for use by Nagato. This is sort of like an add-on to his Segunda form, as after he goes into his Segunda form, this new form/evolution is available for use. However, it should be noted he only has to be in Segunda Etapa to get maximum power output from it, while he can use it to a far weaker level while in his base state. This cannot be used while he is in Ressureccion due to his energy being split between six beings instead of it all being concentrated in a single body. His appearance dramatically changes while in this form, making him appear more or less like a samurai, granted he did slightly appear like this in his normal Segunda form anyway. His body armor changes from its grey-green color to a magnificent crimson, as well as the clothing/robes he wears changes to a deep blue color. He loses the horns on top of his head, and his hair grows much longer than it was before. His hair color also changes from silverish-white to jet black. He also gains a black-bladed tachi that rests on his hip. Abilities:Awakened Kagegan::
This is the base state for his new eyes. His new eyes are red and black, and have a signature tomoe design on them while also possessing the rings of his . They allow Nagato to not only sense the flow of spiritual energy throughout a persons body, but also contains the same characteristics of his Sējigan and then some. It allows Nagato to keep perfect track of those hes fighting, meaning he can see people even when they use special speed movement abilities such as Flash-Step and Sonido. He can keep track of multiple opponents at once like this, giving him an upper hand against speed-based opponents. The Kagegan also allows Nagato to perfectly copy the movements of his opponent(s) extremely quickly, with pretty much no delay whatsoever. This essentially means if he is able to see an opponent doing something with their hands, he has the capability to do complete the exact same movements at the exact same time. This would be akin to a person looking in a mirror: the person and their reflection do the exact same thing at the exact same time. This also has another effect, as it works with memory as well. If an opponent were to perform a specific physical attack, such as a punch-kick-punch combination or something along those lines, Nagato can memorize it and then even use it in the future. It should be noted this doesn't apply to abilities or powers, only physical techniques, or perhaps a special way of performing Cero or a similar situation. This means if Nagato himself is capable of it, he can copy it to great effect, and could even potentially improve upon it using his own various techniques and skills. This essentially makes Nagato a sponge in combat.Kameirei:
Kameirei, as its name suggests, gives Nagato a 'god-like subjugation ability'. Essentially this eye technique works by allowing Nagato to subjugate, or control, non-sentient objects of both physical and metaphysical properties. To do this, Nagato issues 'commands' that an object or attack cannot resist, even if it is being commanded to do otherwise by the originator or creator of said object. These 'commands' are issued by Nagato moving his gaze to the object in question, and then he has the ability to issue a command. This means that all he needs to do is be able to see something, and he can then command it in any way he wants, however the ability isn't so simple in that regard. He can only issue a single command to an object, meaning he cannot 'command' an object to do more than one thing, though he can issue commands to more than one object at once. The limit in this has to do with size of the object in question. He very clearly cannot comment any terrestrial entities, such as earth or its moon, as well as not being able to command an entire continent or ocean. If an object is not so large he cannot see it from end-to-end, then he can issue a command to it (there is also a distance factor: he cannot manipulate the moon by looking at it from earth). Commands issued are such as telling a boulder to 'crush ____', which will cause the boulder to follow the target until either A. The boulder doesn't exist anymore, or B. The boulder achieves its goals. The amount of energy consumed depends on the object in question: a minuscule amount for terrain, self-created objects, etc, while a more moderate amount is required for subjugating something being controlled by an opponent. Nagato is limited to using this ability three times at maximum, a post. (Note: Soul-bound objects cannot be commanded, such as Zanpakutō, etc, etc, while non-soul bound weapons/items being held by an opponent can be resisted if the owner of said weapon has enough physical or mental strength)Susanoo:
This is another special technique only available to Nagato when he is using his maximum power. Susanoo, also known as the Tempestuous God of Valour (勇武の荒神, Yūbu no Aragami), is the third ability granted by the Kagegan after awakening the abilities in both eyes. It creates a gigantic, humanoid being that surrounds the user. As the strongest technique granted to those that have acquired the Kagegan, it is the user's guardian deity, but at the same time, it consumes the user's life. It is a form of summoning, as it makes Nagato's spiritual energy form into a giant armored being that is constantly exuding a flame-like aura. This being is quite large, about 30 feet tall, and its weapons are large as well. It has a gigantic shield almost as big as its body itself, and can be used to block many attacks. It has a natural resistance to the fire element, being able to block most fire-based attacks with ease. It also has a gigantic flame-like sword, and has a high amount of slashing damage. It can also shoot blasts of fire from its blade, causing a quite high amount of damage. Susanoo can be summoned in a different form as well. By just using a small portion of reitsu, Nagato can summon only the ribs of Susanoo which can act like a useful shield from a good amount of attacks. Nagato no longer feel's pain when using Susanoo, and the energy consumption has been dramatically decreased. Also, it is 100% and completely impossible for any foe or ally to copy this ability in any way shape or form. One last characteristic of note is the inability for individuals to absorb energy involved with or created by Nagato when he is using Susanoo for Susanoo. As stated before when describing the rib-cage form, Nagato's Susanoo has multiple forms that can be used. These forms include what is listed below.
- Rib-Cage Form: The lowest and most basic form of Nagato's Susanoo is this form. Essentially, Nagato can only create the rib cage of the Susanoo 'being' and have it surround his body in both shape and a dark red, flame-like aura constantly changing shape and moving, but not actual flame. The rib cages are rather large, each one being able to wrap around Nagato completely, and are very wide as well, about as wide as Nagato's torso is long. Each rib has a large hole through it completely at about the middle of them, length wise. The ribs are connected to a very large spinal cord located behind Nagato while this form is active. The primary use of this form is defense, as the ribs are even more difficult to damage than Nagato is, thus giving him an extremely dangerous set of armor. However, that isn't to say they can't be cracked or broken off if overwhelming force is used to do so. When a rib is broken, Nagato can restore it, but it takes more energy to do so. Not only that, but Nagato can be thrown out of it, which would end the technique abruptly, if this somehow occurs. Also, Nagato is capable of summoning a single Susanoo arm, which can be used to grab objects or people, punch, and slam. The ribcage is actually only one 'layer' of the Susanoo, which explains the dramatic increases in durability from form to form. Nagato likes this form thanks to its mobility, as it allows him to move around much more than his normal Susanoo. This form has very little energy consumption, and has only very slightly taxing on Nagato, allowing him to keep it up essentially the entire length of an average thread.
- Full Body Form: This is the normal form of Nagato's Susanoo, before it transforms at all. As such, this is the form Nagato is most likely to use, excluding the Ribcage form. The appearance of Susanoo in this form is that of an entire skeleton wrapped and covered in an aura of energy that makes it somewhat resemble a human, though it is also very demonic in appearance. It has very large, sharp teeth, a single long horn, and brightly glowing eyes. Its arms also appear to be extraordinarily muscular, despite being semi-transparent. When Nagato uses this form, he usually only uses the torso and anything connected to it as he much prefers to fight on the ground with it, due to it actually anchoring him to the earth, making it difficult to move him. However, if Nagato wants to, this form can also possess a lower body, and thus legs, allowing it to move around more. Depending on whether or not Nagato is inside a building or some cramped place, Nagato would change its size from its normal 35 feet tall when its full body is revealed to something smaller. This form retains the sheer durability of the Ribcage form, though on an even higher level due to being much larger than the ribcage form, as well as having a vastly superior amount of energy pumped into it. However, the Full Body Susanoo also has incredible strength at its service. By using its arms and fists to attack, Susanoo can cause an incredible amount of physical damage, smashing even powerful defenses to pieces. That's not all though, as it can also form swords made of fire-like energy that are extremely sharp, and can also be wielded by all four of its arms. This requires a moderate amount of energy to maintain, and thus puts a moderate amount of stress on Nagato's body.
- Unstable Final Susanoo: Though Nagato's Full-Body Susanoo is very powerful, this more advanced form is even more so. In reality, this is less a separate form and more like the first part of the Final Susanoo, which it really is. This form also happens to be much larger than the previous version: its upper body alone is about 3 times as tall as the entire body of the Full-Body form, and it is also much larger in general than it, including the limbs. Speaking of limbs, the arms of this form are now covered in a layer of overlapping plates of armor, giving it an appearance of "peeling". Also, it is no longer semitransparent, as now it appears to wear clothing on its torso that slightly resembles a robe. Also, it has a huge 'cape'-like piece of clothing that covers its head and most of its body. Its entire face is completely black and hidden, with only its brightly lit glowing eyes peeking out. Overall, this form is much more powerful than the previous version, possessing both an immensely increased physical strength as well as a much higher level of durability, making it extraordinarily difficult to even slightly damage. This form also retains all four arms, and as such can be equipped with four powerful energy swords that can cut through entire mountains rather easily thanks to the tremendous amount of force this Susanoo is capable. This form takes up considerably more energy, and requires much more energy to maintain than its previous forms, thus making it more difficult to maintain, especially for extended periods of time. It is also slightly unstable, and is thus more difficult to control by Nagato, and is also more taxing on him mentally as well.
- Stable Final Susanoo: After conjuring the Unstable version of this Susanoo, Nagato can then advance it by stabilising and controlling its energy, as well as adding even more energy into, and can thus evolve it into this Final Form. This form, very clearly, is the absolute largest form or version of Susanoo that Nagato is capable of creating, being taller than even large buildings. In height, the Stable Final Form Susanoo is roughly three hundred meters tall, or about 984 feet, making it as tall as an average skyscraper from 2013, and is equal in height to the Eiffel tower. It also happens to be equally proportioned, making it extremely large in all aspects. In fact, it is so large, by simply walking it can cause miniature quakes in the ground, and can cause extreme damage to the terrain without even trying. This form has a long, angular tengu nose, and actual face, robes covering its entire body, large pointed shoes, and massive armor on its shoulders and hips. Nagato's Susanoo also possesses "hair" in this form, which is tied up at the sides. Its back set of arms, which are still plated, extend upwards like wings and its front set of arms, which lose their plating, are somewhat smaller than the plated arms. The undulating blades are replaced with straight katana, which are kept sheathed inside the palms of Susanoo's back arms and wielded by its forearms. Nagato completely disappears when he uses this form, as he is enveloped completely by the Susanoo's massive body. In this form, a single swing of one of its katana is enough to slice through an entire mountain range, and thus able to completely destroy and change surrounding terrain. The sheer power of this Susanoo is so incredible, its been said to be comparable to Beast Demon Warlords of old in power. The durability of this form is increased to the point of being nigh-indestructable, being able to be damaged by only some of the most powerful of powerful offenses. Despite being so massively large, this Susanoo possesses the capability to travel at rather high speeds, equivalent to Nagato's normal body in his Segunda Etapa form, thus being deceptively quick. Despite all of the benefits Nagato gains by using this form, it is also extremely exhausting both physically and mentally, and requires a massive amount of energy to maintain. Not only that, but Nagato can only maintain this form for up to three posts, four if he absolutely pushes himself, and is left extremely weakened afterwards. If Nagato were to cancel this ability early, he would be relatively drained and exhausted, however it should be noted that the primary cause of mass energy consumption during the use of this ability doesn't have to do with the initial summoning, it has to do with maintaining it, meaning if he were to only use it for a short time and then cancel it, he wouldn't be too badly off, but if he were to wait a couple of posts, he'd be in pretty bad shape.Event Only.
Despair: Perfect Susanoo [EVENT ONLY]:
Ever since he originally created the Final Stable Susanoo, Nagato Tengan knew it was not the epitome of the godlike power. There was still a new peak to climb to and a new form for Susanoo to take. This new version ended up being the Perfect Susanoo, however that wasn't all that was put into this form. To explain its creation, basically all of the malevolent and sinister energy and power Nagato is capable of producing is gathered up and inserted into this final form, producing the Despair: Perfect Susanoo. Not only is all of this energy put into it, but every single bit of power behind the Stable Final version is also condensed into it, wasting nothing. This has resulted in the ultimate, most perfect form of Nagato's Susanoo. In appearance, it's essentially completely unlike any other version, though it does possess some characteristics of them. It has similar armor to the previous form, and is solid as well (unlike the transparent un-armored body and rib cage manifestations). However, it now seems to be much more human-like than any other Susanoo underneath the armor, possessing very clear humanoid facial features, limbs, and appendages. The skin of the 'body' under the armor is a very deep crimson, resembling Nagato's spiritual energy instead of the purple color of the armor. It's head consists of a helmet which seems to be opened like a large mouth and a human-like face within, though the entire thing is smooth and there are no openings such as nostrils or eyeballs. It's also significantly shorter and overall smaller than the Stable Final Susanoo. Instead of being as massive as skyscrapers, the Perfect Susanoo is only about twenty five feet tall, barely tall enough to reach the top of the previous version's shoe.
Now, onto just what makes this version of the Susanoo so dangerous. Due to the massive difference in size, it doesn't possess the same absolute destructive force as Stable Final form. It also doesn't have the same self freedom as the Rib Cage version, or even Full Body form. So, why exactly is it called the "Perfect Susanoo"? It's pretty simple: This is by far the most efficient Susanoo possible for Nagato. Not only does it utilize energy more efficiently, but the efficacy in which it outputs damage is maximized as well. This means every usage of energy blasts, every physical blow will be more damaging and less taxing. Also, while it may not have the same level of producing mass destruction as Stable Final Susanoo, due to being extremely condensed Perfect is able to unleash much more small, single target damage than any other version. It is also the fastest out of all the "full body" Susanoos, even to the point of being able to use Sonido. The armor of this form is far, far more durable than even Nagato's Segunda Etapa Muteki Hierro, being capable of defending against attacks he himself would take damage from without it. Nagato also benefits from being further within this Susanoo compared to the Final Stable version which houses him in a shell on the surface of the "creature". This all adds up to being much more attuned to fighting one versus one or smaller/individual opponents than Stable Final.
This Susanoo is also capable of utilizing Nagato's energy reserves to form weapons, though he almost always sticks to creating a sword or spear. These weapons always take on one of two characters; either they are extremely durable and possess massive amounts of cutting force, or they have incredible explosive power akin to the Cero racial technique (though obviously on a much greater level). An empowered explosive spear easily possesses enough destructive force to level entire towns and more. It can also manifest a crossbow on its left wrist to allow for a rapid fire ranged attack extremely potent against large forces and speed-oriented individuals (due to the massive AoE splash damage). The energy these weapons are composed of is highly concentrated and volatile, causing severe damage on impact or touch. Even when he uses multiple attacks in rapid succession, such as through a crossbow or actual bow made of the energy, the resulting explosions are capable of reducing large areas to ash almost instantly.
Nagato shares vision with the "eyes" of this Susanoo form, which in truth encompass the entire body of this being. What this essentially boils down to is three hundred and sixty degree vision around himself, overriding having to rely on other senses to detect and react to enemies and surprise attacks. Though the theme of a huge vision range originates from his previous eye form, this Susanoo's unique energy makeup allows it to be enhanced to a complete level. The primary weakness of this trait is though he is highly resistant to light-based attempts at disorienting him, he is more vulnerable to vision targeting abilities or attacks due to the increased perception range.
The primary downsides are the weaknesses compared to the other Susanoo forms pointed out previously as well as horrendous energy consumption to both create and maintain this ability. At most, Nagato can sustain Perfect Susanoo for three to five posts at a time. Should an enemy somehow break or outlast this ability, Nagato would likely be down for the count afterwards. It also requires tremendous mental fortitude to maintain as the amount of energy involved, especially at this condensed level, is immense even for Nagato.
- Owari ga Kita (The End Has Come): The sole technique of Nagato's Final Susanoo. At first it may seem the simplicity of this name should belie a more complicated ability due to it being Nagato Tengan's truly most powerful attack he is capable of in any form, but in reality it is actually as straightforward as it suggests. Instead of being a technique or attack used by the Susanoo, the End utilizes the tremendously dense energy the form is comprised of. The sheer amount of energy used to create the Final Susanoo is higher than even all of the energy his regular Segunda Etapa is capable of producing, a testament to the raw power of this ability.
How this ability functions is by taking all of this energy and condensing it even further until the Susanoo no longer exists and is in the shape of a very small black sphere no larger than Nagato's hand in size. At this point this sphere possesses the power of dozens, if not more, of full strength Segunda Etapa Cero Oscuras'. Similar to the Gran Rey Cero, the very existence of this hyper condensed sphere causes space-time distortions and dimensional rifts to occur in the vicinity near Nagato, appearing as black tears "floating" in the air. However this isn't even its final form. After the entire Susanoo has been condensed, Nagato's advanced eye form and Segunda Etapa are both stripped from him and turned into pure, raw energy which then combines with the already-made sphere to further enhance the total amount of power it possesses. Fusing multiple forms of energy likes this increases the overall volatility as well, making it dramatically more destructive on impact. However, this amount of energy is almost impossible for Nagato to control or stabilize for longer than a single post. Every second it exists in this form Nagato experiences intense and acute pain throughout his entire body, though it is significantly worse in the hand he uses to hold the sphere.
With every single molecule of energy Nagato is capable of producing condensed into a single sphere, the second part of this ability can then be laid into action. After speaking or thinking the word "Eradicate", this energy explodes outward at an extremely high rate of speed. Though possible for very quick individuals (such as those on or around his tier with at least 1 master in a speed oriented skill) to get out of the way without taking the full force of this attack, many others (aka those at or around his tier with advanced or lower speed skills and individuals 3+ full tiers lower without multiple master speed skills) would possibly be caught and consumed by the pitch black energy as it expands. If left unabated this energy will grow and grow in size until it envelops far more space than even Earth's moon. Most attempts to slow it down would be rendered moot by the power of this attack, but it is certainly possible for those at or near his own level to do so while groups of noticeably weaker (3+ full tiers lower) individuals could with teamwork. The destructive force of this ability is beyond imagination for most people as it obliterates and vaporizes almost everything it comes into contact with as it is capable of one shotting individuals as strong as Nagato in their final form if they, without defending themselves, took the full brunt of this attack while already being injured at least moderately. However seeing as unlikely as that is, a more astute example would be this explosion's ability to render even space-time and transdimensional abilities moot and irrelevant. Far greater in power than the largest nuclear weapon ever constructed or imagined by humans, the single best way to not die to this ability is to run as fast as possible in the opposite direction. It takes over five posting rounds, if not longer, for this explosion to stop expanding and eventually dissipate.
As stated previously, the cost of using this ability is roughly ninety nine point nine percent of Nagato's maximum and total energy output. The remaining point one percent is used to keep himself alive when he himself is enveloped by the explosion, taking advantage of the fact that it is his own energy to protect himself from the ability's full power. However due to both the total energy consumption and the fact that he does take tremendous damage from using Owari ga Kita, Nagato instantly goes into a comatose like state after using it, ending whatever thread he uses it in for him right then. This coma lasts for an entire month in real time and for the month afterward his power level is equivalent to about 4-tier. Overall it takes three months in real time to go from using this technique to being in a state capable of defending himself again without outside help of some kind. There is also the risk of death just from using this technique if he were to be attacked after falling unconscious or if he is not able to aptly protect himself from the damaging energy. Overall this is the single most dangerous feat Nagato Tengan is capable of.
This is another one of Nagato's ocular abilities. This ability, unlike many of his others, is illusion-based and does not actually affect the physical world at all. To activate this ability, Nagato must make direct eye contact with his opponent, which also happens to include reflections, such as if the opponent looked at Nagato's eyes through a mirror or anything similar. After making direct eye contact, the illusion begins. Essentially, it cuts off the perception of the victim and forces their mind into an alternate reality where Nagato has complete control. In this 'reality', Nagato can do as he pleases as far as physical harm goes to his opponent, though he cannot actually manipulate their body. However, any physical damage done to the opponent within this 'reality' does not continue on to the real world when this technique ends, which means Nagato can
inflict tremendous mental damage to the victim instead. This technique also alters the intended target's perception of time dramatically: just a few seconds in the real world equates to hours of torture within the alternate reality. This means Nagato can do the same amount of mental damage to an opponent from days of torture, in just a short time. All of the mental stress accumulated during this is all gathered together and then hits the opponent all at once when this technique ends, essentially mentally cracking and/or crippling even opponents with even absolutely tremendous willpower or stalwart mentality. However, there are some major drawbacks to using this ability. The primary downside is just how much energy it takes to use this: due to the sheer power of this technique, as well as it having to be extremely quick, Nagato is exhausted tremendously from using it, more so than the vast majority of his other abilities. Also, due to both Nagato and the victim being inside a mental realm, their bodies essentially become unmoving statues that stand still, making this ability nigh-unusable in fights where Nagato is outnumbered (though it's worth noting the entirety of the technique occurs in the span of seconds). Also, this ability can only be used a maximum of twice a thread, no matter how many people are in it, due in part to the energy required to use it, as well as the stress placed on Nagato's body. It should be noted that individuals with extreme willpower can, in fact, break out of the illusion before it finishes, allowing a person to prevent them self from receiving maximum damage. Finally, due to how this ability functions it requires permission from the victim's roleplayer.Kamui:
Kamui is a one of Nagato's more powerful techniques. Using the ability granted to him by his evolved eyes, Nagato can create a barrier sending everything within its vicinity to another dimension. He can also control the size of the barrier, being able to make it from the size of a small cat to the size of an entire human. This ability is not just incredibly difficult to defend against, but occurs so quickly the victim would likely find it near impossible to avoid. However, the consequences used to be incredibly severe. The eye that was used to create this attack immediately gets struck by so much pain, that it becomes close to impossible for Nagato to hold it open. This also causes blood to seep from his eye, as damage to it is actually caused by this technique. However, due to his pain endurance and willpower, he can still use the weakened eye. Due to mastering the Kagegan even further, this technique no longer causes any where near as much pain as it used to, and also barely damages his eye. The main result of this advancement is that Nagato can use this technique repeatedly within a thread, without having to worry about severe pain or damage to himself. It should also be noted he can use this technique on himself, sending himself to another dimension (a completely empty dimension with nothing but solid ground), and can then send himself back. He can only stay in the other dimension for up to a single post with a full post cooldown. It's possible to counteract this ability by getting Nagato to send away an attack or ability that can be timed to explode or activate at a certain time, and then forcing him to use Kamui on himself and thus damaging whatever he sent to the other dimension. Regardless of whether he uses Kamui on himself or his target, it requires quite a lot of energy to use and is both difficult to use in succession and even more difficult to use on himself and another target simultaneously.Izanagi:
Izanagi is the only current ability Nagato can use without using his Awakened Kagegan, though it suffers from much worse downsides than any other ability he has. This technique is capable of turning injuries and even death inflicted upon the user into mere illusions. Whenever the user receives a fatal injury, he or she automatically fades away as though they were an illusion all along and then returns back to reality; physically real and unscathed. Though this technically isn't an illusion, as it has to do with removing ones body from existence and then reforming it a second or two later. This only lasts 2 posts, and only works on moderate to fatal injuries, and that is when its effects take place, allowing him to completely cancel out damage. He can choose to reform his body anywhere he wants to within 50 meters of the initial effect. Now, for the downsides. After the 2 consecutive posts are up, Nagato loses eyesight in one of his eyes, severely crippling his battle capabilities, while also losing a large portion of energy and feeling a good amount of pain as well, due to it being one of his stronger abilities. However, this isn't permanent. The moment Nagato ends his Awakened Kagegan, Nagato regains eyesight in one or both of his eyes, however he can't use this technique again in the same thread where he already used it with both eyes, meaning he can only use it up to a maximum of two times per thread.

|The History of the Sage|:
Nagato was born over ten thousand years ago, long before most civilizations ever existed. As a matter of fact, he was born before the Neolithic Revolution occurred, meaning he was born to nomads and tribesman that roamed around searching for food. He was born into a particularly small family, a father, mother, and a sister. He didnt really have a name (actually, he doesnt remember what it is, so he says he never had a name as a human, but he may actually be mistaken). He wasnt named Nagato until he became an arrancar, thousands of years ago.
All that is really known about Nagato when he was alive is the fact that he grew up learning how to be a hunter for his group of fellow tribesman and nomads, learning the basics of bow-wielding, spear hunting, fishing, and all the other ways men hunted back then. To be honest, he doesnt remember if he was any good at it either, though this is mainly do to his age. He thinks his father was the leader of the group, thus making him the next in line to become the tribal leader, but hes not too sure about this either.
Nagato does however remember his death as clear as day, even to this day. He remembers one day he was out on a hunt with his father and some other tribesman, when he was attacked by people from another tribe. These people, however, were extremely barbaric, attacking a young man, even though he had done nothing wrong to them, and was just on a hunt. Apparently they thought he was a member of an enemy tribe that they had been fighting for years, but he wasnt. He was just a peaceful young kid.
A large, muscular man with face pain came screaming out of the bushes, rushing Nagato with a ferocity he had never known. Before he could react however, another man came out behind him and captured him by grabbing his arms and legs. With a punch straight to the stomach, Nagato began to feel sick and was in serious pain. In just a few seconds, he went from being a simple tribe member of a peaceful group of nomads, to being a simple tribe member of a peaceful group of nomads impaled by a spear. Not many people can say that happened to them when they were alive.
In a matter of seconds, Nagato was dead. The last thing he saw before the monster known as Death came for him and took him away, was the insane face of a human that was reveling in Nagato's very own blood, that was seeping out of his mouth, nose, and chest, where his stab wound was. Who knew humans could be such monsters? So incredibly insane? Well, this was something Nagato was going to take with him for the rest of his life. or, life as a Hollow at least.
After what seemed like ages, Nagato was finally able to open his eyes. Except he wasnt really opening them, was he? He was a ghost now. A spirit, a spirit that wanted revenge. Revenge more than anything. If he could, he would slaughter every single human he saw, making them feel the same exact pain he felt as he died, waiting for his family to come save him, for those insane bastards to stop laughing at his weak and dying body. Such shameful beasts they were, humans that is. And at this point, all he could comprehend was killing them. Killing them with absolutely no remorse whatsoever.
As he began to grow more and more revengeful, he realized he could get the people that killed him. He could find them and destroy their lives, rip them to shreds if he so wished. He decided to hunt them down and murder them in cold blood, ending their lives as viciously as they had his. After searching for a week or so, he ended up finding the location of the tribe that had this murderers in a small temporary encampment to the south of his won tribe.
After finding them, he waited until they were having a festival of sorts, celebrating their most recent hunt, as it ended up being quite successful. Once the entire group was in the center of the camp, Nagato made his move. He was able to semi-materialize his hand, and was now able to grab a piece of wood. He then lit the end of the piece of wood on fire, and brought it to all the shelters on the outside rim,a s well as the trees. Everything around them was lit on fire, and they had no way to escape. All they could do was drop to the ground as they began to suffocate on the smoke, and burn alive from the fire. Which is exactly what they did.
This main event is what lead to Nagato becoming a Hollow. His Chain of Fate began to erode at almost legendary speeds. As a matter of fact, his chain of fate had eroded faster than almost any other Spirit's Chain of Fate had ever eroded in history. In just minutes it had eroded almost 2 centimeters. In an hour, it was already half done. After a few hours, his Chain of Fate had eroded completely, and thus his transformation into a Hollow had begun. White light and magnificent energy had blazed all around his body, causing anyone in the vicinity to black out from the insane burst of spiritual energy within Nagato's body. After the energy faded a few moments later, Nagato had officially begun his life as a Hollow.
In this new form, all he could think of was hunger. He just wanted to consume more and more and more and more souls, an endless thirst befitting of such a monstrous beast. He went around for months, years, even decades, consuming more and more souls. His thirst for souls was much greater than most Hollows, because by that time they were already at their Gillian stage, while he just grew stronger and stronger in his stage of Hollowhood. By the time he was at human soul number 1, 248, he began to taste the dullness of human souls that had previously not existed in his mind. Instead of human souls...he wanted......Hollows? Yes, he finally began to want to consume Hollows. He was far past the normal point that Hollows turn on each other, so he was much stronger than the others, which in turn allowed him to consume them even more and more easily than he normally would.
He tasted the first Hollow he had ever tasted just 2 days after his last human soul feast. And what a taste that was. It drove him wild, wanting more and more of it, even more so than the fresh taste of a humans soul. With this new hunger, he began hunting down other Hollows in a feverish rampage, consuming every single one he came across. He even ended up consuming a Gillian at some point, taking in hundreds of souls at once. This is actually what sparked his next transformation. In an even bigger mass of energy than what had surrounded him during his first Hollow transformation, he began to change. He grew gigantic, though he didnt know this. All he knew was he was now in a giant pool of other swimmers, all struggling to win the gold medal: Control. Each and every Hollow spirit wanted control over the body of this creature, though one in particular had a head start. Due to how strong he had become, Nagato had little to no trouble beating out all the other competitors in this alpha-or-omega fight, and took control over his new body. Throughout all of this, all he wanted was more food. And by food, I of course, mean more Hollows and souls to consume. Starting out earlier than most Gillians, Nagato started attacking other Gillians, feasting on their bodies and energy and souls, doubling, no tripling, no quadrupling the amount of Hollows that was in his body.
He slowly consumed most of the Gillian population on Earth, and even in Hueco Mundo, destroying the population of most Hollows. it turns out, Nagato was a major reason for the lack of high-level hollows until the major outbreak occurred a few hundred years ago. As a matter of fact, he was actually one of the few remaining high-leveled Hollows until Ashlei ended up showing up. After such a monstrous feast of other Gillians, Nagato went through yet another transformation. Light enveloped his body, though instead of getting bigger this time, he ended up shrinking down to a just a fraction of what he had been before. He was revealed to have become an Adjuchas, far superior to the others around him.
One day, Nagato ended up hearing of a tale in which a Hollow had surpassed even the level known as Adjuchas. Somehow, they had gone past their fellow Hollows, and had obtained a new, previously unheard of, level of power that far outclassed even Adjuchas. Nagato had found a new goal. He realized that every time he had evolved as a Hollow, it was because he had consumed a ridiculous amount of his Hollow brethren. This must mean he could become a Vasto Lorde if he consumed even more souls and Hollows. Which he did gladly.
He went around Hueco Mundo, just searching for random Hollows, and ate them. one after one, they all fell to his crazy goal and insatiable appetite. He was growing both powerful and infamous. He was known all across Hueco Mundo as a vicous monster who only cared about power, which to tell the truth, is what he essentially was. He was power hungry, and he was willing to do anything to get more power than he already had. So, he kept consuming Hollows for years to come, not slowing down, not faltering, but increasing his pace of Hollow consumption. In a single century, he had consumed over ten thousand other Hollows, which even during modern times is ridiculous, as most arrancar had only eaten a few thousand at best before they became an arrancar.
Eventually, Nagato noticed the power increases from consuming Hollows begin to fade, though not entirely. He began to think he needed stronger prey, which lead him to searching out that single Hollow that had made it to the level of Vasto lorde. He ended up finding him in one of the far corners of Hueco Mundo, living peacefully alone, not consuming any Hollows anymore. Too bad Nagato ended up disrupting his nice life by himself.
Nagato challenged the Vasto to a fight, to which he immediately replied with a big fat "No" to the face. This angered Nagato beyond any other hatred he had ever felt. The he remembered. he remembered everything that happened to himself in his life. His birth....his life......even his death. he even remembered when he slaughtered the humans that had killed him. And now he had a new goal: Destroy all humans. They were monsters that needed to be taught a lesson. However, the only way he would be able to achieve such a goal is through power. Power he would get from consuming this Vasto lorde. He attacked the Hollow, going for its head. Oddly enough, the battle was quite easily won by Nagato. What he didnt know, was the Vasto Lorde had remembered everything that had happened to himself during his life, and wanted to die, as he was both ashamed and depressed.
With his newfound power, he began another transportation, one that would shake Hueco Mundo to its core. An absolutely insane amount of spiritual energy covered his entire body, swirling around him in a vicious hurricane of power and light. After a few short moments, his new form stepped out of the dust and smoke, showing off his power and new knowledge. With that Vasto lorde, he had gained the knowledge and memories of thousands of new souls, adding to his tremendous collection. He didnt end up eating or consuming any other Hollows after his transformation into a Vasto Lorde, simply because he knew it wouldnt push him past this level anymore. He was either at the peak of his power, or had reached a wall he had to climb over. He decided on the latter, as there was no way he was going to give up getting stronger.
Thousands of years past, and eventually he ended up meeting his first Shinigami. This was about 3500 years before the current time, and before a lot of organizations had come together. The first Shinigami he had ever met was a man that went by Genryuusai Yamamoto. He was pretty young, much younger than Nagato at that time, and didnt really know what Nagato was. He even admitted this to the Hollow, wondering how he had obtained such strength, when the strongest Hollows he had ever fought were only Adjuchas level. After a discussion between the two, Yamamoto decided such a powerful Hollow couldnt exist, because that could spell doom for Soul Society. So, they clashed. Due to Yamamotos yound age and lack of major battle experience and knowledge, Nagato actually had the upper hand in this battle, outclassing the Shinigami in seemingly everything. This battle actually is what triggered Nagato's transformation into an Arrancar, because something inside his head just gone off, telling him to pull off his mask, which is what he did. He began to be covered in energy, energy that even scared Yamamoto (this was a very young Yamamoto, which is key in this battle. an older one wouldnt have had so much trouble and certainly wouldnt be scared). After the smoke cleared, Nagato appeared to be a completely new being, far above anything anybody could have ever fathomed. However, he also gained more self control and was a bit more relaxed as an Arrancar. So, he decided to leave that place and return to Hueco Mundo for now, which is what he did.
Throughout the thousands of years of Nagato's existence, none have posed a viable threat except for Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, the previous Captain Commander of the Gotei 13. However, after he became an Arrancar, another posed a threat....actually, this person did more than that, they went so far as to defeat Nagato in battle, something no other person has ever done. This person is Hashirama Senju, a Shinigami who discovered Nagato's existence and attempted to kill him. Nagato met this man in the real world, somewhere in Asia that Nagato has yet to reveal as the battlegrounds. When they encountered each other, Nagato challenged the man, who accepted it, more than ready for a fight. Throughout the fight, it was clear even Nagato could not defeat this man, who even had to use his Ressureccion to stay on even ground. However, once the man pulled out his trump card, Nagato immediately began to lose. Nagato lost; it was clear from the beginning that this would be the outcome. However, before he could be killed, Nagato escaped via Garganta, returning to Hueco Mundo where he would train for multiple millenia, gaining enough strength to hopefully defeat the Shinigami who once overpowered him.
Nagato was recently approached by a mysterious man that offered him power and a leadership role in a large organization. After learning of the Org's goal, Nagato gladly accepted.
The Death and The Return
Infiltrating the Rinyūaru headquarters wasnt necessarily difficult for Zefonse Kaizme, and neither was making it all the way to Nagato. Zefonse attacked Nagato, and eventually appeared victorious, killing the man who once controlled an entire organization relatively easily. Zefonse then took over the Rinyūaru, with Nagato never able to challenge him, as he was gone forever.....or was he?
Turns out Nagato knew he was going to be attacked. He also knew who was going to do it. On the night Zefonse attacked, Nagato created a seemingly perfect clone of himself to fill his shoes and die by the hand of the god of battle Zefonse. Nagato actually left the Rinyūaru base before Zefonse even got there. He traveled across Asia, biding his time, waiting for the right moment to return. That time.....is now.
Long before the founding of the Rinyūaru by Nagato, another group was founded by the man as well: the Akatsuki. The organization is extremely secretive, with its founding unknown to most people in existence. While the Akatsuki have been around for a long, long time, just recently they have become more active in the world, with their main goal unknown to all but Nagato himself. Perhaps in the near future, their true purpose will be revealed; and perhaps the world should prepare itself for when it does.
Post-Akatsuki to Now
After deciding Hueco Mundo needed more visible leadership, Nagato gave Dr. Hebi control over the Akatsuki and rebuilt his base on Los Viejo, the ancient castle sitting in the sky on a moon of his own creation. This moon would be transformed into a sprawling military base covering its entire surface, and would play host to Nagato and his armies. Over the years he accumulated tremendous sway over legions of Hollows and Arrancar, especially during his time as one of Shadow Fall's Thrones. Believing he could no longer grow under Shadow Fall's banner, he left the organization behind in order to form his own faction. This new group, one he dubbed the rightful Hollow empire, grew every day as members of his race swarmed to his side, believing him the true leader of Hueco Mundo and its peoples. Agreeing with these Hollows he deemed insects, Nagato assumed a mantle of righteousness and purity, believing only he deserved to lead this realm into the future. With the goal of eliminating all demons and Shadow Fall's presence from Hueco Mundo, Nagato Tengan has once again prepared for civil war the likes of which the world has never known.

explain the drunken/dizziness thing, though the effect is fine there needs more justification or background on it; as is, there's no clue as to why it does this, and without more detail on it, it'd essentially be an absolute besides the sole clause of "make direct contact with the target". It's the same degree of absolute as Aizen's zanpakuto, with its sole clause of "see him drawing his zanpakuto", which is also entirely an absolute. Aside from trying not to be touched by one of the fastest arrancar alive, there's no even potential counterplay since there's no more info beyond that.Banido:
Even vaguely, how does he go about doing this uber-boost? Finer spiritual energy control to contain the sound and form that finer control, better enhance the speed of his traditional sonido? Also, there's no foreseeable drawbacks or limitations on this ability, so as it's described, for all i know he can infinispam Banido. I'd need significantly more information ont his ability to even grasp what would be fair, and what suggestions i could make on general limitations or elements of control on this abilityMulti-Layered Fiber Plate Hierro:
Change the part of spiritual energies not working on the plate-layer to "near completely ineffective". That's an absolute, and based on that description, even a powered force of Death Energy from the primordial source itself wouldn't do anything to Nagato. I'm alraedy assuming if entirely improbable situation happened in a thread, you wouldn't actually make him energy-wise absolutely impervious to death, but that also needs to be detailed here as well.Repulse/Attract:
Only thing this is really missing is parametres on range. I know how long Nagato can use this ability, the repetition for it, the costs for it which are adjustable dependent on what they're used to attract/repulse, but i have no idea where he can use this or to what extent he can attract things. This especially needs to be defined considering save for the 5 second intervals of usage, there's as listed literally no downsides and therefore no manner of approach besides trying to catch the insanely fast Nagato off guard between the mere 5 seconds; either that or straight brute-forcing through the ability which can even serve to significantly slow peer-level opponents, with nothing but physical energy exertion and taxation.Field of Vision:
Remove the "not possible" part to severing their communication. You can definitely specify means that will not work to further ensure the difficulty to near absolute inability to conflict with their communication, such as specify mind-targeting abilities or energy-derived abilities aren't able to incapacitate their connection, but as is it is by definition an absolute, which obviously wouldn't be acceptable.Deva Path:
be some balancing effect to the Deva Path's physical attributes. As described, it's not only faster than base Nagato, one of the fastest Arrancar ever, he's also stronger than Nagato--the sole physical bare
vulnerability to him--and retains, rather has even stronger hierro than his base "nigh impenetrable" hierro, on top of being only 1 of 6 applications of his ressureccion, of which have different strengths that whilst used in tandem through the borderline impossible means to inhibit their communication, it's literally several 0-2 tier or below characters pushed into one, with melded strengths to nearly achieve a pseudo all-round specialty without suffering the drawback of lacking specialisation. Since, they do specialise, and it's not far from a character just having New Masters or even higher all across the board in every skill sheet. Something of which is generally reserved for event-level NPCs that are used exclusively in events.Asura Path:
there needs to be justifications, and i'm namely referring to his metal body being impervious to traditional metal-weakening effects. it'd be fine to have that attribute--if it were explained. As far as its mechanical body goes, have some scales written up so that it's not just left at him being capable of unliterally using all these resources, abilities, and applications in perpetuity. For the spiritual-energy based applications, you can justify and explain that it obviously takes his energy to perform, and therefore continually uses up his reserves the more often and constantly her performs those abilities.Human Path:
There must be an explanation on the manner of execution regarding his special ability; as is, I have no clue how it's implemented, other than the effective range is within 500 yards, and that it's limited to one person at a time. Is the effect lasting, does he not have to maintain focus to fully corrupt a person for those 6-posts (or less)? Can he use it once on a person, and immediately move on to using it to another preson in the same post, which though he can't use it on multiple people at once, bouncing from person to person in rapid succession (with no understanding of how it's performed) is to the highest degree, god-mod save for a character's willpower determining how they might endure the near absolute and entirely arbitrary effects. That said, there's no way even characters of a grandmaster in willpower would be degraded (besides the off-mention of being able to endure it) in a mere six posts.
For reference, let's compare this to what grandmaster in Hierro means to Nagato. Of course, people in grand master will always vary in power since it's a pseudo-uncapped skill level, and Nagato would be at the peak in regards to his Hierro's grand master, but it would still apply since from the current explanation there's no regard to these variations. Now, with Nagato's godlike defenses, he's been capable of coming out unscathed against other characters explicitly known for their strength at the highest of tiers and levels, to the point of fighting Radioactive without receiving bodly harm. Meaning, in a bout against other Grand Masters, although with radio it was as you described "short". As Nagato's known to be at the peak of Grand Masters for Hierro, Radio is known to be at the peak of Grand Masters for Strength, this is a further testament to the levels of durability he has. This in mind, how would it be fair for a Ress ability, one of six entirely separate in application, theme, and usage at Ress, to arbitrarily offer such detriment to a character with Grand Master of all things.
Namely, what I need for this ability is explanation on how it's used and the method of execution, especially so the people you're RPing with understand what's happening to their characters and that it's not done whimsically (I trust you wouldn't, but I still need it on the app as well), as well as something defining how it works in duration, whether he requires to stay on the subject for however long necessary to complete the task, as well as limitations, preferably even a cooldown on usage or something that spaces out the usage of this ability. Causing someone to revert into using their shikai as if just barely attained would be an immense impact to opponents on his level, and there's--with the information currently on hand--literally
no counterplay aside from staying outside of his 500 yard range.Atomos:
As one of Nagato's literal plethora of completely different powersets in Ress, Atomos as only one of them, being a gargantuan boss-level fiend, being capable of decimating an entire city in a mere 3-4 posts is too much. Increase this to some 6-10 posts depending on size of the city and any external inhibitors preventing it.Gogoroth:
It's fine to specifically define what manners in which this creature is undetectable, but stating "is undetectable regardless of sensory or detection abilities" is by default an absolute. Like the other abilities, you can define what it lacks in presence to specify how it would be undetectable to a myriad of methods, techniques, and abilities dedicated to perception and sensory, but that's pretty much it.Nakara Path:
Limit the production of a new body to one each, or six bodies in total if the same one ends up killed off repetitively; mix-and-match as you please, it's your bear to build kappa. Especially since, as you stated, this is an absolutely immense amount of energy consumed, such that I'd say going beyond the six maximum would throw Nagato out of his ress. Additionally, something as powerful as putting potentially another 0-2 tier combatant into combat would require some time to get done, considering the description on how this is performed. I'd say, similar to the Preta Path, a good drawback to this ability is leaving the Nakara Path vulnerable as he produces a new body, which sounds like something that should take anywhere between 3-5 posts depending on which Path is reborn. Furthermore, because of that level of energy consumption, I'd say each time a new body is formed, the duration of Nagato's Ress would appropriately be cut down by 1/6.Segunda Etapa Physical Traits:
I know that Nagato's meant to be a final boss-type character, and I respect that and the work you've put in and done to make this character and have him stand where he is today, especially with his purpose and significance surrounding him. That said, I don't want to infringe on that, but at the same time his Segunda Etapa isn't just powerful in the same sense as most final-form characters are, but rather there's no discernable weaknesses in any regard. Especially when it comes to his physical traits. He's physically stronger than his Asura Path, fast to the point of being near indiscernible with outright teleportation, and exceeds even higher levels of defense than prior, which was already to the point of being enormously difficult to contend with even with grand master skills--something which denotes reaching the zenith of that respective area. I'm not even sure how to approach how to get his physical traits balanced out, and I think it necessitates that we talk about it in a call or something more personally.Shin Suenju:
Make note that even just using this ability and maintaining control over Shin Suenju requires immense focus. Something that large, particularly without external help to mentally support him, would mentally drain even Zin--known for his mental endurance all across the board--absolutely necessitate the use of the Yuudeshi Network to support him for any extensive duration of time when it comes to maintaining absolute control of something on this magnitude. Come up with a scale or duration for how long this ability can be maintained regarding acute control, especially of the thousands of hands, with excessively acute and minute instances of control naturally usurping that much more mental energy, and more simplistic and general movements and commands being easier to conduct.

[mod]After discussing with Gin and getting the abilities addressed fixed up, this character is a damn powerful one, but not out of the realm of feasibility regarding characters of his level.
Approved at same tier, 0-2++.[/mod]
