-------------------------------------------------The Paths of Pain
Seis Rutas (6 Paths)Resereccion Release Phrase:
"Go down the Paths, Seis Rutas"Release Actions:
In order for Nagato to release his Zanpakutō and use his Ressureccion form, he must perform one simple action. By taking one of his blades and letting go of it, it will float in the air or be stabbed into the ground in front of him. Then, he places one of his hands at the tip of the blade, and a "seal" appears. He is then engulfed in a massive pillar of red energy, hiding what happens inside. After the energy begins to fade, Nagato disappears, and is replaced by 6 new bodies, all controlled by Nagato.Resereccion Appearance:
In Nagatos Ressureccion, he is replaced by 6 new bodies, though he controls each one through their thoughts. Each body is different, ranging from a young girl to a large, muscular man. Each body wears the same standard outfit that Nagato usually wears prior to releasing. All of their coats are black, except for the red clouds all over them, and have high collars that reach to about their chins. There is a zipper that extends all the way from the top to the bottom of the robes on the front of them, and are red. Each body also has odd black bars resembling his Zanpakuto that act as piercings and vary from body to body.Resereccion Abilities:Field of Vision:
When the paths are active together in battle, Nagato is able to see through their eyes, thus registering six separate fields of vision at the same time. Essentially working as shared vision for the paths, this allows Nagato to coordinate their attacks and to provide defense for them without a blind spot. This means it is close to impossible to land a surprise attack on one of the bodies, especially in large open areas, so long as they can watch over each other. Though, if the bodies are separated by walls or anything like walls, this ability is pointless, as they cannot watch each others backs. This doesn't apply to normal walls as the Sējigan can see through physical objects. However, due to the fact that he can see through every body at once, he is also very well suited for fighting multiple opponents at once. This connection can make it incredibly frustrating to combat Nagato while in his Ressureccion because while it not only leaves very few, if any, openings, but due to both communicating between the individual Paths and being the Paths themselves, soul disruption-like abilities aren't effective against him. It's also important to note attempting to influence an individual body or control one would also be rendered moot because it would be the same as trying to do such a thing to Nagato in his base form. Finally, attempting to cut off the connection between any Path and the rest using illusions, energy abilities, or physical means is not possible as it would be like moving two cellphones away from each other; it does nothing to their communication whatsoever. Deva Path (God Realm)Appearance
The Deva Path is the most "normal" looking Path of the 6 in Nagatos Ressureccion. The body bears six piercings, a metal bar through each ear, three studs through the side of its upper nose, and one spike stud on each end of the bottom lip. It also has three piercings on each wrist, at least one on its upper wrist and some just under his neck. He possesses the same eyes as Nagato, and has vibrant orange, spiky hair that is of medium length. His hair is held up by a black headband that extends around his entire head. On the front of the headband, there is a metal plate with 4 tally-like markings on it, and is scratched out.Powers and Abilities:High Speed:
The Deva Path possesses a level of speed higher than that of Nagato in his sealed state, and as such is an extremely dangerous combatant, despite the fact that this form isn't the primary combat Path. This Path is incredibly tough to catch, and nearly as difficult to even see when it's moving, to the point where he can attack from multiple directions despite not even appearing to move in the first place. When combined with its other very high stats and characteristics, this Path is likely the most dangerous of them all, and the fact that it is the only one that shares powers with the base sealed form of Nagato hints at this. The Deva Path can cross massive distances essentially instantly and without warning, as without using Banido, its movements are completely silent due to moving so quickly. Its movements in battle allow the Deva Path to remain safe at almost all times. By utilizing this speed Deva Path will usually stay behind the others near the Naraka Path, acting as a last line of defense for the most vulnerable and important of the six. Physical Strength:
The Deva Path also possesses an incredible amount of physical strength, allowing it to fight extremely powerful physical fighters without even breaking a sweat. With a mere flick, the Deva Path is easily capable of sending a large and heavy object, or even a person, crashing through many buildings. While the Asura Path surpasses it in raw physical power, the Deva Path is much more refined, and thus nearly as dangerous as it would be much more likely to put its strength to better use. This is displayed often, as this Path is capable of launching another Path across an entire city with sheer power alone. Also, using its physical power in its legs, the Deva Path can launch itself extremely high into the air, allowing him to jump far above the rooftops of skyscrapers near instantly. As stated before, Deva is not as physically strong as Asura but is usually used as the last line of defense, allowing Nagato to funnel all his knowledge and combative skill into it without worrying much about the other Paths. This means Deva's strength is utilized to maximum efficiency, though it is not as physically dangerous as Asura or Naraka.Durability and Endurance:
The Deva Path possesses the same special custom form of Hierro as the sealed state Nagato does, except on an even higher level. During his release into his Ressureccion form, much of the energy that explodes out from his body is used to reinforce the Hierro of his Paths, meaning even the least durable Path has a Hierro higher than normal Nagato. The Deva Path's Hierro is especially powerful because it is the second strongest Hierro of all the Paths, behind only the Asura Path in sheer durability. Deva's Hierro allows it to tank multiple high level Kido and Cero attacks in rapid succession, even from individuals near or around Nagato's power level. Attempting to fight Deva in close quarters is usually a recipe for disaster for its foe as they are usually more likely to injure themselves striking him than they are to actually harm it. As far as endurance goes, the Deva Path possesses the best endurance of all six paths, allowing it to fight on even after the others collapse due to varying reasons. This means this Path is almost always the last one fighting if the other Paths are some how miraculously destroyed or crippled.Shinra Tensei
(lit. Heavenly Subjugation of the Omnipresent God; Almighty Push)
The Deva Path is Nagatos main path, and thus can use Shinra Tensei. Shinra Tensei is the ability to manipulate gravity at the user's will to repulse matter away, however that isn't entirely accurate. It isn't as simple as "gravity" because other gravity users cannot negate or stop it, and people/abilities immune to gravity are not immune to Shinra Tensei. It's more accurate to say it's the manipulation of space or reality. Depending on the amount of force the user puts in this technique, it can easily shatter wood, bones, metal, or stone walls. By using this technique as a defensive measure, almost all attacks directed to the user will be deflected, no matter the size, power or mass (its to be noted that the larger the attack, the more energy Nagato needs to use this ability). It can also be used to repel flames caught on the user's body. The only downside to this technique is that there is a short period when it is unusable after being used. The minimal time period is about five seconds, but it varies depending on the amount of power put into the attack. The primary difference between the Deva Path's Shinra Tensei and the one Nagato uses normally is just how much more powerful this version is than it's counterpart. The difference is pretty noticeable, and if someone was somehow able to dampen the effects of the base version then the only way to keep that up against the Deva Path would be to use a stronger form or release. Otherwise, they just wouldn't be able to do what they'd done previously. Uniquely, the Deva Path can even repulse metaphysical abilities and concepts (specifically things like attempts to mentally or spiritually influence or damage it, and dampening effects).Banshō Ten'in
(lit. Heavenly Attraction of All of Creation; Universal Pull)
As Nagatos main Ressureccion Path, the Deva Path is able to use Bansho Ten'in. Banshō Ten'in is a technique similar to Shinra Tensei in that it "manipulates gravity" at the users will. However instead of pushing objects away, it draws them towards the user (same with Shinra Tensei, the size of the object(s) being pulled determines the amount of energy needed to use this technique). It has the same five second limit as the Shinra Tensei. It is possible to attract multiple targets at once, causing them to collide with each other. Also, like Shinra Tensei, it is possible to dig ones self into the ground by either focusing their Reitsu into the ground, or adding weight/mass. Being an even stronger version than the normal Nagato's Shinra Tensei, this ability is incredibly powerful and is that much more difficult to resist.
________________________________________________________________Asura Path (Demon Realm)Appearance
This body has the strangest facial features and perhaps body type as well, of all of Nagatos 6 Paths. The body is of a tall, bald man, with an unusual and large body shape, possessing a very thick neck, no ears and a large jaw. He also has the same eyes as Nagato, as do all 6 Paths in his Ressureccion. It is the only body not to have orange hair, though to be fair, it doesn't have any hair at all. It has a vertical ring piercing on its nose, six spike studs all around its head, three studs on the top and bottom of each of its six arms, an enormous cylindrical stud on its chin, and two vertical studs on each of its upper cheeks. The body has three faces, each with a different expression, and two of which appeared from the sides of its head only when it removes its cloak in a fight: happy (its normal face), angry, and neutral. It also has a long, saw-like "tail" which stretched from his back over his head.Powers and Abilities:Physical Strength:
The Asura Path is by far the strongest of all Paths, physically that is. Due to his mechanized body structure, he can generate a lot of force compared to that of the other Paths. He possesses physical strength far above average, and is strong enough to even rip limbs off of its enemies. A basic strategy of the Paths is for Asura to pick up and throw another Path far away, sending them flying for even miles. This Path tends to be used as the primary fighting Path, due to not only its strength, but its special ability. The pure physical power this Path possess is enough to easily keep power specialists on their toes, and is thus able to inflict extreme damage on its targets in close quarters combat. Asura is significantly stronger than Nagato's base form, and is able to cause mass destruction on a national scale. In fact, while in Ressureccion Nagato will even have Asura fight his foes single handedly while the others stay back and either provide support or remain out of combat. While Asura's unique ability lends itself to battle, its raw power is as important.Durability:
The Asura Path possesses the most durability of all Paths, due to its incredible strength and special power. Its Hierro is much stronger than that of the other Paths, and is able to take much more damage than the other Paths as well. Due to its very dense metal body, it also has another line of defense, since it is basically a cyborg. Even though his body is made of metal, he does not suffer from a weakness of fire or the usual degradation metals may face. Also, since he can get a maximum of 6 arms at once, he can produce that much more force, and can even use those arms as protection. The Asura Path possesses durability and a level of Hierro never seen before, and discounting Nagato's Segunda Etapa, possesses one of the most durable bodies of all time. This is another reason Asura is the vanguard of the Paths, always ready to do battle and ensure the other Paths remain unharmed. Oftentimes Asura will be used as a physical shield for the others as it can tank multiple powerful attacks directly.Mechanical Body:
Among the Paths, Asura has perhaps the most unique ability due to it being arguably the most unexpected. Asura possesses the ability to mechanize its body, essentially operating as an android will total control over how it can shape itself. It is shown to have robotic inner workings, possessing six arms, each being connected to his body by a separate shoulder, three faces (each with its own "emotion"), and has a folded, serrated blade-like sash around its waist. It can also protrude a similar set of flexible blades from one of its arms. It has a metal saw-like tail that is quite long and very durable. It can fire one of its left forearms off as a long-range projectile, and could pull out his arms to reveal and fire a cluster of segmented missiles at its targets. It can quickly propel itself forward with a burst of Spiritual Power from its boots, and could protract multiple blades and drills from its right arm in combat. Also, it can open up the crown of its head to release a powerful Reitsu blast that is capable of destroying numerous buildings at once. This blast is capable of reducing an entire town to dust, and is many times stronger than even a Gran Rey Cero, proving it's powerful capabilities. Asura can turn its arms into powerful beam cannons or missile launchers, both of which can reliably turn many opponents to dust. As such, this Path has by far the most destructive capability of them all and can cause ruination on a grand scale, making it a one-man army. Worth pointing out the energy blasts can be just as draining as using any other kind energy-based ability, like Cero.
________________________________________________________________Human Path (Human Realm)Appearance:
The Human Path is a quite tall, and relatively slender man. He has long, loose, vibrant orange hair, that extends past the base of his neck, and his bangs are held in by his headband, which appears exactly like the others'. It had multiple piercings, including a diagonal bar through its nose, two circular studs in a vertical row on each of its cheeks, two studs placed horizontally on its chin, and a stud on each of its shoulders near its neck. The diagonal nose piercing makes it the only Pain Path with asymmetrical facial piercings. It is the tallest of all the Paths.Powers and Abilities:High Speed:
The Human Path is a very capable fighter, despite his utility/metaphysical-type special abilities. One main factor that supports this is his raw speed when moving and fighting. When he is moving, he possesses perhaps the second highest speed of any of the 6 Paths of Pain Ressureccion. He is able to move very fast, high above that of average on Nagato's level. This means he is also quite gifted in Sonido, being able to travel faster than most, and even leave afterimages behind in his wake. When fighting, he also possesses high speed in his strikes and blows, being able to add damage from the speed, increasing the amount of force he can generate considerably. Due to this, he tends to fight with quick blows in rapid succession, instead of trying to land heavy blows, similar to Nagato's regular hand to hand combat style. When the Deva path is out openly fighting, this path should be watched out for due to its tremendous speed.Physical Strength:
Oddly enough, the Human path also possesses higher than average physical strength. he is strong enough to easily toss large metal beams away, and even lift the tremendously heavy Asura Path. He can demolish boulders from punching, and can send enemies flying straight through buildings. Though above average, he does not excel in physical strength overall, something his "opposite Path", the Asura path does. By adding speed to his blows, he can exponentially increase the amount of force created from his attacks, making himself all the more deadly in Close Quarters Combat. He is easily strong enough to overpower the vast majority of people he many encounter, and thus shouldn't be taken lightly. Due to being one of the easier Paths to overpower strength-wise, Human is usually one of the last to enter the fray and is more effective at staying in the middle of them with Asura in front and Naraka behind it.Enlightened Judgment:
Unlike the other Paths which have very clear and direct abilities, Human stands out like a sore thumb. This is due to the nature of the Path, which while physically capable, is usually the first Nagato is willing to let die while in his Ressureccion. Its ability, Enlightened Judgment, focuses on utility and metaphysically disrupting Nagato's opponents. The most simplistic of its uses is to Judge the other Paths, which always leads to Human deeming them "enlightened", removing all debuffs and effects currently influencing them. Against foes, Human Path will Judge them and determine how close they are to "enlightenment". This rating is based on their interactions with Nagato; For instance, an individual who swears total fealty to him is closer to "enlightenment" than not, while someone who continuously fights against the Arrancar will be deemed unworthy and of weak spirit. Again, on the most simplistic of level this results in the removal of buffs from Human's target. However, there are more complicated aspects to this ability.
Those deemed ignorant and unenlightened by Human Path are interrupted in more ways than one. Their connection to their abilities is harmed the most, making it incredibly more difficult for the victim to utilize their strengths. As an example, against a Shinigami it would be as if they only just unlocked their Shikai if they attempted to use it instead of having mastered the release. This is due to Human Path finding them impure and corrupted, thus severing the link to their attachments in the world. Being Judged can cripple those too dependent on their special abilities, showing the error of their ways and displaying their ignorance to the heavens. The last effect being Judged can have on an individual is the revelation of their inner most desires, and then multiplying it three-fold. For example, if Human Path's victim seeks to become stronger this desire will grow until it overwhelms them, forcing the individual to desperately crave power above all else, including the safety of their allies. Or if their desire is to protect their loved ones, it will be greatly "enhanced" until the thought foremost on their mind is the crippling fear their friends and family will be harmed or destroyed.
Enlightened Judgment is able to be used on a single individual at a time within five hundred yards of Human Path's physical location. While this makes it ineffective against groups of enemies, the ability to craze one person can sew chaos among entire armies. While the initial effect of this ability can be severe, it takes anywhere between 1-5 posting rounds and 8 for GM to fully cripple the victim depending on their Willpower skill (1 for beginner, 2 for adept, etc), though it is possible to fight through it, albeit while constantly mentally struggling. This doesn't include abilities victims can use to make this effect take longer to ramp up. He cannot switch targets while the effect is ramping up. The use of this ability requires a constant channeled energy connection between Human Path and its target. Once an individual has been Judged, it takes 3 posting rounds for their mental to completely recover (though with suitable fatigue depending on the severity of their Judgment).
________________________________________________________________Animal Path (Animal Realm)Appearance
The body of the Animal Path is of a young girl, making it Pain's only female body. Like all other Paths of Pain, the Animal Path possesses the same eyes as all other Paths of Pain. She is the shortest Path of all 6, being only about 5'5". This Path has orange hair tied together in a sort of onion-like bun at the top of the head, with spikes of hair protruding out of it. It has one stud above the nose, studs on either side of the neck, a row of studs vertically down each cheek, a stud below each stud on the neck, two studs on each forearm. She also wears the same basic robes and outfit as the other Paths, as well as Nagato, wear, albeit shorter. Also, she wears the same headband they do as well, with the same exact metal plate on the front.Powers and Abilities:Close Quarters Combatant:
Though not a fighter due to her specific role, and her size, she does possess some ability in hand to hand combat, such as being able utilize multiple fighting styles at once. Though she is actually slightly less than average in both speed and strength compared to her fellow Paths, her skillful attacks and fighting techniques let her fend for herself without too much worry of quick elimination. When she fights, she strikes every point on the opponents body, using her nimbleness and size to her advantage by attacking in circles around the opponents body, usually aiming for pressure points and such. However, this Path possesses the lowest durability of them all, and instead resorts to using summons for protection.Summoning Techniques:
The Animal Path's special ability is being able to summon various monsters for use in both combat and support with the other Paths. By putting her fists together, she can bring in monsters that can only be described as hideous behemoths. All of the summons possess the same eyes as the Paths as well as Nagato, and thus their sensory connection to eachother. The summoned beasts also possess incredible strength, durability, and combat capabilities to the point of easily being able to go toe-to-toe with captain level fighters on an individual level. This gives Nagato even more combat strength against large groups of enemies while in his Ressureccion. The main downside is once a summon is defeated in battle, it cannot be summoned for the duration of the thread. It also takes a considerable amount of energy to summon these powerful beasts, though due to his natural tremendous reserves it doesn't necessarily stop Animal Path from bringing forth multiple in a row.
Atomos, World EaterDescription:
This eldritch abomination can only be described as a gaping abyss. Its body consists largely of a gigantic, hundred yard-tall mouth covered in variously sized spikes and horns. Its maw possesses large blade-like teeth on the top and bottom with a gigantic horn-tipped tendril on either of the mouth's lower corners. The rest of the body takes the form of a wide tail covered in spikes all the way to its tip. Atop its head sits multiple horns that almost resemble a crown, though are much more sinister in appearance. This summon possesses the ability to act like a vacuum, sucking in anything and everything in the vicinity on a humongous scale. This vacuum ability produces winds strong enough to tear apart concrete and steel rebar, allowing it to break apart and pull entire buildings out of the ground. Atomos can reduce an entire city to rubble, and then sick in and consume that rubble too. That's because it's "stomach" is essentially boundless, and crushes whatever the beast devours. However, that isn't the limit to what Atomos can do. Once it has sucked in a suitable amount of rubble, earth, or anything else, it can then reverse its ability and send all of it out like a tornado spitting out entire houses and vehicles. It usually takes 3 to 4 posting rounds to obliterate a city, depending on its size, (takes longer depending on the location's barriers and defenses) and can consume energy blasts without harming itself.
Gogoroth, the Chameleon:Description:
This summon is a large chimera-like chameleon with snake for a tail. Like all of Nagato's summons, it has a number of body piercings and his eyes, implying that it is being controlled. Much like a real-life chameleon, this creature can also blend with its surroundings for camouflage, so perfectly that it renders itself completely invisible to other viewers around. This ability has been used by the Animal Path of to step inside the chameleon's mouth and attack his opponents by surprise. Also, it as well as anything inside it don't give off Reiatsu or heat, rendering it essentially completely undetectable. Another reptilian trait that the chameleon shows is the ability to crawl on vertical and inclined surfaces, such as walls. Also, it has exhibited great destruction capabilities, being able to topple houses, though this is likely because of its size. The snake-tail can be used as a prehensile limb, to be able to grab and capture intended targets for Nagato with its long, sticky tongue. It produces no sound, heat, causes no tremors as it moves (despite its size), and is undetectable regardless of sensory or detection abilities. It cannot maintain its invisibility while attacking.
Carcinus, the Giant CrustaceanDescription:
A large crustacean, this summon has a number of body piercing as it is being controlled by Pain. This summon can shoot powerful bubbles at high velocities by forming the bubbles in its body, and then releasing them from its mouth. These blasts of bubbles are surprisingly effective, being able to tear through structures and defenses like a hot knife through butter. On impact, these bubbles can explode and cause tremendous area-of-effect damage, ripping apart buildings like they're Lego with the resulting tremendous shock waves. Also, because of its shell, it can be used as a "wall" or "shield" to protect the Animal Path from harm, though it is by no means indestructible. Its claws have incredible piercing and clamping power, allowing Carcinus to slice apart solid objects and crush even hyper durable individuals and enemy creations.
Kargadann, the Giant Rhinoceros:Description:
A large rhinoceros, this summon has a number of body piercings and Nagato's eyes, implying it is being controlled by Nagato. This summon is utterly massive, being very bulky and weighing over fifty tons and measuring in at twenty yards tall. It has a tough, think hide which protects it from attacks, and also has a huge, sharp horn at the end of its snout. Despite its size, it can actually move quite fast as well, making it the physically strongest summon the Animal path can bring onto the battlefield. The Rhino is extremely powerful, and is more difficult to stop using physical strength or barriers than his other summons. It is also rather durable, possessing a harder-than-steel hide that acts like a suit of armor. Kargadann's ability to rush down and trample enemies is unrivaled, particularly due to its horn's unique ability: The tip of the rhino's massive horn can twist the air around it, creating a powerful piercing effect from the cyclonic distortion.
_________________________________________________________________Preta Path (Hungry Ghost Realm)Appearance
The Path has a large, bulky body, and even appears relatively overweight. The Preta Path, like all of the Six Paths, possesses Nagato's eyes. It has orange hair tied in a short ponytail. It has small spiked piercings covering its entire bottom lip, two vertical spike studs on the front of his nose, two spike studs (one on each cheek), a metal spike going through each ear, and a stud on his shoulder, one on each side, close to his neck. Like every Path, the Preta Path wears the same outfit and headband. However, this Paths outfit is slightly larger than the others, though this is probably to accommodate his extra weight.Powers and Abilities:Physical Body:
Due to the fact that this body is relatively large, it does possess a good amount of physical strength that it can utilize in and out of battle. Its physical strength is comparably high to the Animal Path, though it probably doesn't exceed that of the Human Path's physical strength. While he is strong enough to shatter boulders from a punch (which is relatively average compared to most), he cannot put much speed behind his blows, and thus cannot deliver strikes as strong as his full physical potential warrants. This makes him a relatively poor Hakuda fighter, though his powers are more defensive anyway. Speed:
The Preta Path is easily the slowest [physically] of all of Nagatos' Ressureccion Paths. This is due to not only his larger weight and mass, but also because he is a defense-based Path of Pain. This means he cannot dodge very well (though with his abilities he doesnt really need to, to be honest). He also can't fight very well because of his weight and his speed, or lack thereof. He tends to be in the back, with the Naraka Path and the Deva Path, protecting both from danger and enemies that seek to inflict harm upon them. However, being the slowest out of some of the fastest beings alive certainly does not mean this Path is, by any means, slow.Energy Absorption/Negation:
The Hungry Ghost Path, also called the Preta Path, has one ability and one ability only: the power to absorb and negate energy. However, this needs to be explained in full as its function and mechanics aren't so cut and dry. First off, its appearance: when this ability is in effect, the Preta Path would be holding his hands in the direction of the attack coming towards him, and a translucent blue sphere would surround his body as he uses this technique. Next is its mechanics. When spiritual energy or really any form of energy not coming from Nagato (aka any Paths) makes contact with this shield, it is immediately sucked into the sphere surrounding Preta, and both nullified and partially absorbed. The Preta Path can only use about fifteen percent of the energy absorbed in order to prevent energy corruption, which is essentially special effects of an opponent's energy attack affecting the Preta Path, as well as to prevent being overloaded with power. Also, the energy absorbed would be closer to twenty percent, but some of the absorbed energy is used to power the absorption itself. Energy absorbed is immediately converted to a usable version, which means even energy like that used by Nature Iramasha is still useful to absorb. It should also be noted that size of the energy attack is what determines the length of time it takes to absorb, with larger, more powerful energy attacks taking longer. The energy the Preta Path absorbs can be used to either make itself stronger, or can be shared with the other Paths. Due to this ability, the Preta Path should be targeted by physical attacks because it isn't as strong as the other combat Paths, and is still susceptible to physical assaults. However this ability alone makes going after other Paths with energy based attacks extremely dangerous as not only with your ability end up negated, but it would also provide time for a more physically capable Path to engage on you. It's worth noting while there isn't any worry of not being able to absorb and negate the most powerful of attacks due to Preta Path merely spreading out the absorption over a longer period of time. However, the longer it takes to absorb an enemy attack the longer Preta is vulnerable to its other enemies.
____________________________________________________________Naraka Path (Hell Realm)Appearance:
The Naraka Path appears to be a tall, stocky, and well-muscled man of about 6'7". The Naraka Path, like all 6 Paths, possesses the same, familiar eyes that Nagato has when sealed or in Segunda. The Naraka Path has a very wide chin. It had a spiky mop of orange hair. It has multiple body piercings, such as a circular stud on the bridge of its nose, a diagonal row of studs on each of its cheeks, three spike piercings in each of its ears, and a stud on each of its shoulders near its neck. Like all Paths, the Naraka Path wears the same basic clothing as the others do, with the red cloud robe and the slashed out headband.Powers and Abilities:Physical Strength:
The Naraka Path is quite large, and thus possesses a considerable amount of physical strength. His large stature and developed muscles allow him to crush boulders, and send opponents flying through buildings. He is also quite heavy, meaning it is difficult to make him move by either pushing him or blasting him with attacks such as the Cero or a large amount of Kidō. Though he possesses remarkable physical strength, he is still somewhat slow, and as such isnt one of the better Paths when it comes to fighting, and due to his own Path abilities and such, tends to be protected by every other Path, including the usually out-of-combat Deva Path, which tends to hint at the Naraka Path's importance as a support-type. Speed:
The Naraka Path is the second slowest Path of all 6; only being faster than that of the Preta path. This means that the Naraka Path, while very strong physically, possesses a low amount of combat capability in comparison to the other Paths. Due to his lack of speed, he also suffers from "Protect Me Syndrome", which means he is often protected by faster Paths such as the Human Path or Deva Path. Though, he CAN still defend himself, even with the lack of speed, and is still a very dangerous and powerful fighter. Still, in close quarters combat he is vulnerable to getting outmaneuvered by fighters almost as fast as Nagato, though that bar is still quite high.Path Generation:
The most dangerous ability of perhaps all the Paths lies in the grasp of the Naraka Path. The Naraka Path possesses an extremely powerful ability that dabbles in the art of "rebirth" so to speak. This ability is actually the reconstitution and reconstruction of some of the Paths. By summoning the Hell king (not actual Satan), absorbing the body of the fallen Path, and then rebuilding it from the ground up. After its "revival", the Hell King spits out the now combat-capable Path. This ability essentially makes the other five Paths indestructible, as any Path destroyed can just be rebuilt to maximum power, wasting the efforts of Nagato's opponents. This also means Nagato can fight without worrying about the safety of the physically weaker Paths, and as such can deploy an even more aggressive combat style. Even a Path completely destroyed or even vaporized can be remade. However, each revival costs a significant amount of energy. Also, if the Naraka Path is destroyed, then no Paths can be remade, which usually results in enemies specifically targeting this Path, meaning Nagato has to spend time focusing on defending it. The main purpose of this ability is to allow weaker Paths like the Hungry Ghost Path to front line, since if they get damaged the Naraka Path can repair them while a stronger Path like Asura protects it. This type of battle strategy is what makes Nagato's Ressureccion so dangerous, as unless his enemies are very coordinated with each other or possess a high amount of knowledge of these abilities then they will very likely get wiped. It's worth noting only one Path can be rebuilt or revived at a time.
Sabio de Seis Rutas (Sage of 6 Paths)Segunda Release Phrase:
"Join the One Path, Sabio de Seis Rutas"SegundaRelease Actions:
No matter what position they are in (defeated or otherwise), all of the Paths begin to glow a brilliant red, and appear to "become" energy itself. Then, all of the Paths shoot forward into one central spot, and begin to combine their bodies and energy. A massive pillar of bright red energy (almost resembling that of fire) forms, and the bodies combine inside the pillar. After the energy fades, Nagato's new form can be seen from the smoke.Segunda Appearance:
Segunda Abilities:*Aside from the Naraka Path, Nagato retains his Ressureccion abilities.Incredible Speed:
Nagato's speed is ludicrously high in this form, as it is practically all of his Paths' speed combined. He can move so quickly at this point, that he makes his previous forms look like they were moving in slow motion. He seems to instantaneously teleport, but in reality he is just moving at a relatively moderate speed level for himself. Without using Sonido, when he moves at max speed, it sounds as though he is lightning, as thunder occurs in his wake, creating loud booms across the battle field. This is why his normal speed and Sonido are mixed up in this form by opponents. Though, his Sonido is actually silent as not even sound can keep up with it, and as such seems like he is truly teleporting. Using numbers to measure his speed is pointless when Nagato is in this form, and it's more accurate to say he just disappears and reappears when moving. Immense Physical Strength:
Like all of his other traits, his raw physical strength is increased quite a bit in this form as well. Even without his strength, the momentum he can build up in a punch from his speed is insane alone. That, coupled with the fact that he does in fact have a high strength level, allows him to cause massive damage with basic attacks. His strength is far above even the Asura Path, which was the (physically) strongest Path in his 6 Paths of Pein Ressureccion. Nagato is strong enough in this form to create massive craters in the ground by simply dropping his foot to the ground. A punch from him can easily cause massive holes to appear in a person's body, even if he doesn't make contact. To say his physical strength is immeasurably high is an understatement. However, this is all pretty much the norm for individuals on his level and compared to strength specialists he doesn't stand out.Ludicrous Spiritual Power:
At this point, it would be wrong to say his level of spiritual energy wasnt absolutely ridiculous. Even for someone of his level, he is still high among those of his power level. Even if he were to attempt to hide his power, it would still be too much for a lot of humans and spiritually unaware beings. At full mass, he can make weaker opens drop to the ground in a traditional Chinese bowing position, making it seem as though they are bowing to him and basically declaring him their king/emperor/god. Nagato has been known to vaporize low level Arrancar just by being near them, and any solid surface he touches or goes near is vaporized as well. His spiritual pressure causes space and time to distort around his body, eliminating the effects of time-based powers on him, as well as making it dangerous to even stand in his general vicinity. This usually effects others by disrupting their ability to use energy attacks somewhat while within a few meters of Nagato's body.Increased Durability:
Nagatos basic defense and durability of both his Hierro and his regular body increase dramatically in this form. Nagato's Hierro while in his Segunda Etapa is virtually unbreakable, as it can be considered to be the ultimate defense in this form. Not only does impact force mean seemingly nothing to Nagato as even extremely powerful physical blows can be brushed aside, but sharp objects are essentially treated as blunt weapons against him. Even some of the sharpest of blades would be unable to cut through his Hierro. Also, while in this form Nagato gains a major boost in his natural durability due to his skin hardening and becoming like stone in comparison to normal human skin. As a matter of fact, the difference between his natural defense in this form compared to that of the Asura Path's is like stone compared to paper; the difference is that dramatic. For individuals not in their final forms, using their maximum power output, attempting to injure Nagato can seem insurmountable. However it's worth noting while his durability is incredible, all of this predicates on his Hierro existing as well. Without his Hierro, Nagato's durability is not nearly as insurmountable as it seems. Shinra Tensei
(lit. Heavenly Subjugation of the Omnipresent God; Almighty Push)
However, due to his increased power in general in his Segunda etapa, his Shinra Tensei also gains a large boost in power. At this point, Nagato's Shinra Tensei is god-like in power, staying true to its name. The almighty force with which this technique pushes can reduce the center of a city to rubble while still maintaining the lowest possible time delay. By putting his full power into it, and increasing the cooldown considerably, Shinra Tensei has the potential to cause destruction on an international scale. It has been said nothing can withstand its force, or at least nothing Nagato has come across thus far.Banshō Ten'in
(lit. Heavenly Attraction of All of Creation; Universal Pull)
Also, like Shinra Tensei, it is possible to dig ones self into the ground by either focuses their Reitsu into the ground, or adding weight/mass to their body. It has trouble pulling objects that are shaped like squares or rectangles. In his Segunda form, Nagato's Bansho Ten'in ability becomes much stronger. By using it on a building, he can tear it to shreds, pulling piece by piece off until there is virtually nothing left. A single use of this technique can demolish a pathway straight through an entire city. That is the true power of the Bansho Ten'in.Chibaku Tensei [EVENT ONLY]
(lit. Heavenly Body Bursting from the Earth; Planetary Destruction)
The user creates a dark black sphere of 'gravity' that, when thrown into the sky, attracts objects from all directions and pulls them into the sphere, compressing them together. This sphere is extremely difficult to destroy, to the point where only a person's strongest ability has hope of destroying it for good. The surrounding earth, including entire forests and mountains, are collected into a single point, piling on top of one another until it creates a monstrously large sphere. A huge crater much larger than even the largest of cities is left where the earth has been collected from. This ability is extremely powerful, able to basically create entire moons, which it has been used to do multiple times before. The force at which the Chibaku Tensei pulls objects in towards it is many, many times that of Earths gravity, which is enough to rip hundreds of thousands of tons of land up and into it, compacting it until it is gigantic, and obviously because it works similarly to increased gravity, it doesn't instantly pick things up (it is implied he can actually create one the size of Earth's moon, though he would need a tremendous amount of energy to do such a thing). This ability is so tremendously powerful, it can be compared to that of a god's, for it can turn entire countries into barren craters with little trouble. Chibaku Tensei doesn't continuously sap Nagato's energy, as it is a one-shot type ability. Due to it being his strongest Segunda ability, it takes more energy than any other Segunda ability of his. Also, to increase the size and strength of Chibaku Tensei requires exponentially more energy. While destroying a city may not require much in comparison to his entire energy pool, destroying a country or continent can set him back considerably and shorten the duration of his Segunda Etapa depending on how long he's been in it. Powerful enough attacks can slow down the Chibaku Tensei, and repeated maximum power energy blasts could even potentially destroy the sphere itself, though it would likely require as much or more energy than the Chibaku in question.Summoning: Shin Sūenju [EVENT ONLY]
While in his Segunda Etapa state, Nagato loses access to all of the previous summons he could use while in his Ressureccion. However, he instead gains access to a single summon to use instead: Shin Sūsenju, "True Several Thousand Hands". By slamming his hands together into a prayer-like formation, Nagato can activate the lock on this summon, meaning he can bring it into the real world. After this is done, a massive cloud of white smoke appears behind Nagato, and after it dissipates, this figure is seen sitting down. Shin Sūsenju's most noteworthy characteristic is its size, however that is an obvious understatement. Being many thousands of meters tall, as well as possessing an equal width, this hulking behemoth towers over essentially anything and everything. This colossal Buddha-statue-resembling summon is so large, it can grip the entire thickness of Doctor Kabuto Hebi's summon Victor II, which is a snake of such massive proportions it takes up half the size of Karakura City. This means this statue is larger than arguably the largest living creature in the world. It has been known to dwarf entire mountain ranges and that's without even standing up. When it stands up, it appears even taller. It resembles a Buddha statue slightly, and has, as its name suggests, several thousand hands that reach out from its back that reach upwards, as well as to the left and right, forming a half-circle behind the statue.
First off, this statue-esque monstrosity is extremely durable to the point of being nigh-indestructible. Even extremely powerful attacks do nothing to it, and for the most part even if said attacks could damage it, it's size and bulk means it is still a small amount in comparison to its size. This isn't to say those on Nagato's level cannot damage or destroy it, it just takes equally strong powers. However, this isn't just a statue that doesn't move; nay, instead it can move as though it were a sentient being. However, it instead has its every movement controlled telepathically by Nagato, who can make it stand up, walk around, or even attack. In order to attack, Shin Sūsenju utilizes the thousands of hands upon its back in order to strike down at targets by thrusting the hands/arms in the direction of the intended victim. By striking with all of the hands on its back simultaneously, Shin Sūsenju can destroy massive areas in a matter of seconds. Such a powerful summon has its drawbacks, however. First off, once destroyed this summon cannot be brought back in the span of a thread. Also, as the ability title says, this can only be used in threads categorized as Events due to its tremendous power. Finally, this summoning requires more energy to bring into the world than any other ability in Nagato's entire arsenal and, like Chibaku Tensei, can decrease the duration of his Segunda Etapa. Also, it requires constant intense focus to maintain control over the summon and its actions. This causes physical exhaustion over time, and when Nagato is defeated or knocked unconscious it breaks down and disappears.Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō:
This ability replaces the Tensei/Ten'in abilities as Nagato's most commonly used power while in his Segunda Etapa. This is because while the other abilities are powerful, Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō is even more so, and is also much more versatile than basic push/pull abilities. As a matter of fact, this ability is so versatile, it allows Nagato to fight entire battles without having to use anything else, and can be used for all three major categories of combat abilities: Offensive, Defensive, and Supplementary. This means that while an opponent may only have powers or equipment that specialize in offense, such as a cannon-like weapon/ability, this ability can be used for essentially anything Nagato needs. Not only does this make this ability exceptionally dangerous, but it also makes it Nagato's most useful power as a whole. Thus it could be said that Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō is even more powerful than Chibaku Tensei due to versatility.
This ability is essentially the creation of an extremely useful material Nagato can use in combat. While he can create more or less, this material almost always forms seven distinct, floating orbs that levitate closely behind Nagato, as well as an eight at the back of his left hand. These orbs are pitch black in color, with a slight purplish hue to them. They automatically follow him wherever he goes, and he can also move them to other locations himself, or even make more spheres if he needs to do so. Because this material is so extremely malleable, to the point of Nagato being able to will them into anything he can imagine, they can take a variety of shapes; though, a specific few are used rather often compared to others. The primary shape is the basic sphere, however if he has them pierce through the back of his hands he can form blades, among other things. The lance shape involves him stretching it from his palm about four feet, and then he can use it to stab straight into enemies as well as pierce defenses. Nagato can also create barriers with this material, and cover himself in a protective shielding in order to protect himself from an enemy's offense. Their shape can also change dramatically; for instance, a regular sphere which is usually about seven inches in diameter can be expanded to a size larger than multiple city blocks, and rather quickly at that.
On we move to its special characteristics. First off, this material is incredibly durable, and is comparable to Nagato's Hierro and pure defensive capabilities combined while in his Segunda Etapa form. This makes the material quite resilient and ensures it has lasting power against the strongest of foes. Also, the material can be molded into shapes with edges sharp enough to cut through most of what it comes into contact with. This means a blade made of this material can do combat with an opponent's Zanpakutō without worry of it being damaged, while also allowing him to damage weaker weapons with it. The versatility doesn't end there, however, as there are a few more features of this tremendous power.
When this ability is used for offensive purposes, it possesses essentially penetration that pierces through 50% of a target's bonus defenses. This means even if an opponent uses an ability that enhances their defenses, this malleable black material ignores half of said bonuses and is still able to hit them quite hard indeed. It also ignores passive abilities of anybody it strikes, rendering a Quincy's Blut and an Arrancar's Hierro useless against it, as it will tear through them like a hot knife through butter. Even passive abilities specifically used to counter an opponent's abilities are useless, as well as energy-negation powers as this is a 'material' not an 'energy', and possessing the capability to ignore negation-type abilities. However, it's important to point out this does not apply to base defenses and durability. There is one final special characteristic of the black material used by this ability: its destructive force. This material does not explode, nay; instead, it 'destroys'. Anything this material comes into contact with, besides Nagato or anything Nagato himself creates using other abilities, is hit with the destructive force of both an extremely powerful energy attack, as well as a city-destroying level explosive. As a matter of fact, this material can literally destroy mass itself as well as energy, which means technically every time this ability is used, the universe gets that much smaller. This is why this material can destroy an opponent so well, as absolutely anything it touches feels these destructive effects. By simply expanding one of the spheres to the size of a house near a target, anything hit by it would be destroyed, leaving a large crater where it struck. However, it's worth pointing out it doesn't automatically destroy things it touches, it merely hits them with destructive force. This means it can be defended against.
Utilizing all of these effects combined, Nagato moulds the material into the shape of pitch black shakujō. This staff is made of highly-concentrated Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō material, making it even more durable than when the spheres are used. This staff usually floats in front of Nagato's body, and controlled telekinetically like the rest of the black material, but Nagato also occasionally wields it himself. This staff weapon is very useful in combat thanks to the unique traits the material that makes it up possesses, and is also a powerful weapon even without said traits due to its length, and thus reach, as well as its shape that allows it to 'catch' an enemy's weapon using the ring on its top end.
However, like all powers, Sējirirīsu: Kokushibyō has its downsides. First off, energy consumption: while not ridiculously consuming, this ability does take a good amount of energy to use. However, if the spheres don't do anything, then no energy is used up as they only require sustenance if manipulated in some way. Also, due to Nagato being the only person that wouldn't be damaged by it, it should not be used to help allies as they can be damaged just as badly as an opponent. Also, excluding the staff, the material cannot retain a changed shape for very long, and must revert back to the normal sphere form relatively soon after initially changing shape. This means he must constantly switch between the normal orbs and actual weapons or shields instead of being able to hold a weapon during the entire course of a fight (with the shakujo staff being the one exception). If Nagato were to somehow be separated from the orbs, he wouldn't be able to use them for defense as he cannot teleport them to himself. This means he must actively attempt to keep them near him in order to prevent separation, which is an important downside in and of itself.Shibōshasū Sonido:
This is, without a doubt, the ultimate form of Nagato's Sonido movement technique. Perhaps what proves the capabilities of this movement skill is the fact that it is only available to Nagato while in his Segunda Etapa form, the final and most powerful form known to the Arrancar species. While essentially all Sonido work as supplementary abilities as they primarily allow the users to move much more quickly than usually, this special form of the ability centers around more destructive capabilities. In his Segunda Etapa form, Nagato is able to move faster than ever, and as such hits his peak level of speed. This ability takes advantage of that fact. When Nagato uses Sonido in his Segunda form, he moves so quickly a special field around him forms that distorts everything within his personal space. This distortion field doesn't just distort, it hits the area around his body with destructive force. Now, the technique functions by utilizing this destructive field while he moves around with Sonido, which allows him to barrel straight through objects, leaving a large hole in his wake. This means he can essentially Sonido through physical and energy-based objects without having to become intangible, and without taking damage. Even some of the strongest of barriers cannot hold him back, and would end up with large holes in them. The amount of force this technique has behind it is measured in kilotons of TNT explosives. It should be noted that if Nagato had a normal form of Sonido in his Segunda, he wouldn't be moving as fast. This means the Shibōshasū Sonido is comparatively faster than other Sonido abilities used by equal level Arrancar.Muteki Hierro:
Like Nagato's Shibōshasū Sonido, this is the ultimate form of one of his racial techniques, more specifically his Steel Skin. Also like his special Sonido ability, Nagato's Hierro only takes this form while he is in his Segunda Etapa. Called the Muteki Hierro, or Invincible Steel Skin, this truly is the absolute peak of Hierro any Arrancar has ever achieved since the advent of the species. The basic structure of this protective armor involves the fusion of the four-layered Hierro of each Path from his Ressureccion, and then a combination of all six Hierros. This essentially results in armor six times as effective as the original version, except it doesn't end there. The Hierro itself will settle into his skin in Segunda, meaning instead of his Hierro and specially-hardened skin he gets in this form working as separate layers of defense, they instead combine their overall durability. However, this isn't even counting the additional energy Nagato releases in his Segunda. Basically, when he releases into his Segunda, an absolute massive burst of energy is shot out of his body after the Paths combine, however the energy shortly condenses after spreading, and then combines with his Hierro, boosting it even further. All of these processes combined result in an armor of Reiatsu so dense and durable that it even has the capability of negating damage against Nagato in any form (as in, it can defend against any kind of ability), while completely negating space/time-based abilities as the pressure and density of the Hierro is simply too high to be altered by these types of abilities. It also means nearly everyone is susceptible to injuring themselves by trying to attack him physically, resulting in severe damage to whatever made contact with Nagato. Obviously Muteki Hierro isn't indestructible, but attempting to bypass or break it is usually an incredibly difficult endeavor even for those on Nagato's level.Tendōdama Cero:
The Tendōdama Cero has a simple function, which is the destruction of whatever it hits (like all Cero), but its energy makeup as well as specific creation parameters are a bit unusual compared to other energy attacks. To create this Cero, Nagato must combine negative white energy and positive black energy, forming a perfect fifty/fifty combination. After doing so, the energy is then spun around and formed into a sphere roughly a foot in diameter so that the two types of energy may thoroughly be mixed, as well as to condense said energy as much as possible. This perfect energy combination results in a relatively small black and white sphere that surpasses absolutely all forms of Cero Nagato has access to and, due to the tremendous amount of energy required to form it, is limited to Nagato's Segunda Etapa release state. After the sphere of energy is formed, Nagato can either keep it in that form until making it impact with an enemy, in which case it would explode into a huge inferno of energy capable of taking out some of the strongest of opponents, or he can immediately turn it into a gigantic blast of energy and aim it at a target. The destructive capabilities of this Cero are tremendous, even greater than that of a Cero Oscuras used by Nagato while in his Segunda Etapa form. Due to the specific makeup of this energy attack, it cannot be absorbed by any means whatsoever. Also, the reason why it is confined to his Segunda Etapa is due to the sheer amount of energy it requires to form and because it requires a level of balance and control impossible to reach in lower forms.
