» Why:

In her quest for mastery over Resolve Flame and to free people from their despair, how could she turn her head from Inami? Mirja had met the woman a few times, and even without Ulv's emotion-sensing powers, could really see something beyond the mask Inami put up. And so when the situation came up that she found herself in Inami's castle, it was a great opitunity. At first there was sex and other cardinal actions that Ulv enjoyed immensely, but that dissolved eventually and Inami became disbondant. Ulv took the iniative and sung, her power mingling with her words and flooding Inami with a new feeling. The Chaya Nation Queen, who had spent so long in the Abyss after the pain of her younger life, grasped the walls of her pit, and began to rise at Ulv's urging. Ulv then left her, because there was a lot for Inami to process, and a lot for Ulv to do.

After getting the Devil's Heart from Ibiki and testing out it's power, Ulv decided to try out something else she go from Ibiki and use the Devil Bonds. What better way to train a Willpower-driven power, than get some Willpower-training manacles from the very woman that your power originated from?

Climbing a mountian mostly to hear The Wind but also to climb a mountian, she was told she would need more work before learning the Dimension Trotting Ability that got her in front of Neoveta. Which kind of sucked but she was not averse to work. Climbing back down and heading home, Ulv ran into a camp of her immortal enemy, and tore the place up, the Devil Bonds making combat vicious and difficult. But with her blazing heart and furious arms, she eventually emerged victorious. Her Resolve Flame really could be used offensively, and the Devil Bonds, while crippling physically, were a great boon mentally.

So she took to the world, using these Devil Bonds and her Devil's Heart and a bit of her Devil Arms and making a mental note to see if she could talk to Ibiki later. Sure the whole Devil Girl montiff was cool but her tiny Sou-Taichou needed to get a bit more creative with these things. Maybe something about being Tiny....First, she went to Inami, and with the girl having had time to sort herself in the wake of the first fire, Ulv's Devil Heart gave her a grand gift to aid her in never again being harmed by her Origin. Finally, she met with Ava, and assisted her with her Resolve Flame after beating another Chimera with fury and drive. It's like they were just popping them shits out now. Ulv was going to need a bigger toilet to flush them all away.
