Song: Through Hell & Beyond - Word Count: N/A

[Note: Mana is currently using one of Neoveta's replica shells and has possessed it and shapeshifted it to take her form. This is not the 0-1 Mana and she is currently scaled at 0-4+ at the moment and is using resources from Shadow Fall to make her attack.]

Everyone was a target in the mind of The Demon Queen. If you raised your blade against her, your life and those you cherish are now forfeit to the wind. Ergo, it made sense that the next of her targets would be The Quincy as they dared to attack Shadow Fall soil. Above the atmosphere of Stadt des Lichts did the likes of The Demon Queen appear. Wasting no time with grand introductions, the woman let out a monstrous laugh which had the echoes of children giggling with glee echo across the landscape.

In this moment of young laughter did the skies themselves soon turn emerald and shade; the visage of many smiling faces soon reflecting in the heavens as this sense of maddening energy struck the earth like a cosmic strike of pure mania. This sickening force started to then seep into the streets, sewers and in every nook and hole, one could imagine. It sought to turn the minds of those who inhabited Stadt des Lichts into nothing but butter if it could be helped. If left unchecked, this maddening energy would drive many innocents to the point of total insanity; they'd be unaware of who they are and shatter under the weight of their psyche being destroyed as many people started screaming in the streets, burning everything down and even raping and killing one another until the whole landscape of this once beautiful city would be consumed in chaos.

Fires, explosions, yells, and death would flourish as the earth roared with power. Yet, above it all did the Demon Queen herself stay as she took delight in seeing the world be consumed with absolute terror once more. Again, there was no fear which lay in the depths of Mana's mind as she controlled this shell to do her bidding. This was the day which had been anticipated for so long, so she would relish in this battle and game she craved to test her might.

Yet, even with that being the case, an example must be made.

"Burn everything. I don't care if this place is left in shambles, or if we conquer and pillage this land for every resource it has. It's been made clear The Quincy have turned themselves into our enemy, so eradicate their home until nothing is left if that is what will please you all. We will show the world that if you make the den of devils your enemy, we'll submerge everything in hell, MY S'UGAHS~!"

With that message being broadcast to the whole of Antarctica, The Demi Network of Shadow Fall ripped open a blood vortex in the sky that let the hounds of the apocalypse loose. Tens of thousands of demons surged into the city as they started killing, destroying and devouring everything in sight. Women, children, men, soldiers; none of them mattered as they were all the enemy and they'd get no mercy from the might of Shadow Fall. As the blood spewed into the earth, The Demon Queen had no particular desire to harm these civilians, but they were cursed with the luck of being lead by fools and would suffer the mistakes of being affiliated with such scum.

So, with her sights set on consuming this country, Mana then took higher up into the atmosphere so that she may begin contacting the resources of Shadow Fall to start the process of consuming this entire continent. As, in the stratosphere did a crimson light start spreading across Antarctica. It was becoming apparent that Shadow Fall was making their first power play in this by trying to seal off the nation for their own gain, and if not stopped, they would go on to claim this nation as thousands of ships dominated the air; while thousands of troops stormed the ground and all were ready for war.

Thus, with their pieces flying where they may, The Demon Queen waited and observed before letting out this final call to the world:

"To victory, or to death; Shadow Fall will bring all of its foes into a reality of hell that will make your leaders regret having ever risen their sword against us. It brings me no joy to slaughter your people, but it can't be helped, can it? Curse your luck for having lived under the rule of such idiots and dismay your brutal end at their decisions."

Darkest Dungeon OST - The Final Combat - Word Count: N/A

Ever since his meeting with the Vandenreich hierarchy, Stefan Soan had begun growing more and more fond of the City of Light to the point of spending entire days at a time within it's white diamond walls. Though at first he found the architecture gaudy, the Quincy equivalent of a penthouse covered in garish gold wasn't quite as aggressively obnoxious to him anymore. Perhaps it was the the fact the general populace was significantly stronger than almost anywhere else in the world, feeling as close to a society of warriors as Stefan has known. Then again, maybe it was just the food and general atmosphere. As much work as the biosphere tech put in in the Free Union to make the climate as favorable as possible, there was something uniquely enticing about Stadt des Lichts that kept him coming back every other day or so.

On this particularly fateful day Stefan found himself sitting at a bar in the Quincy capital, feet elevated off the ground as they rested against his stool. He had been contemplating his recent discussions with the Vandenreich and the promise he made to lend them his strength when the time comes. Whether he was a soldier serving under Hakai Chikara or a general leading the Monsuta itself, Stefan had never really been one to protect others. The last major war he was in involved slaughtering thousands on both sides of the conflict merely because they were in his way. It wasn't that he had spontaneously grown charitable or kind. Such a change would be entirely out of character for someone like Stefan. The reasons he had told the Quincy leaders were not falsities, Stefan truly did want to see what the Quincy people could be capable of. Like Arrancar, they were born to be warriors and the innate potential each and every Quincy possessed was immense. Such truths made him, a Shinigami who had fought and trained for centuries to gain even a modicum of his current power, even a bit giddy about the future. A future someone threatened to destroy.

"Y'all got Long Island Iced Tea?" Before the bartender had a chance to respond, an immensely powerful and malicious presence suddenly appeared far above the City of Light. Stefan could sense them the second they showed up. At the same time alarms began sounding throughout the city and Stefan began getting alerts from the Free Union about conflicts breaking out across the entire globe. Guess it's finally starting, eh? The retired Monsuta head commander had long since prophesied a new World War, seeing all the signs of it being on the horizon. These signs were rather clear: Complex alliances and relationships, continuous expansion from global superpowers, an arms race with no end in sight, and skirmishes and proxy wars between the largest organizations not wanting a massive war to break out quite yet. And on this day his prophecy would prove correct.

Standing up from his bar stool, Stefan dropped some cash for the still-stunned barkeep and turned to walk out the door. Once outside Stefan could see the chaos and destruction was already advancing quite well for Mana's side as civilians were driven insane and began killing each other due to it. The black and green sky just screamed demonic influence, though Stefan already knew who was fault: Mana Asthavon. This wasn't the first time he had fought with her, though last time they were on the same side as the two had been slaughtering Malaysians together. Today there would be no such alliance. There would be no words of peace. There would only be death; His, or hers.

Wanting to prove his dedication and truth in his words, Stefan suddenly unleashed an outburst of his Spiritual Pressure powerful enough to kill regular humans; but against these spiritually enhanced Quincy, their fate would be one of unconsciousness. Against the Shell's energy his own could not counteract it's unique effects because he did not possess such an ability, however knocking out those currently being influenced by the insanity was a simple feat for one such as him. Still, the scale of this conflict was already on an extremely high level out the gate and while simple, Stefan knew dedicating resources to protect this many people would be tiring over an extended period. For such a reason Stefan also knew he needed to end this as quickly as possible.

As the Demonic rift opened in the sky above the City of Light Stefan saw his chance to prevent the coming wanton destruction with some of his own and launched from the ground to meet the enemy mid-air. As enemy soldiers began dropping through the portal, Stefan tore his left hand across his face and drew his Zanpakuto with his right; summoning his Hollow Mask and preparing to attack all in one motion. Before his foes had a chance to even reach the ground, Stefan charged a Cero around his blade and swung it in the direction of the rift, releasing a massive wave of volatile green energy capable of vaporizing low and mid level demon soldiers. "Cero: Sosogikominasu!" This attack would obliterate the demonic vanguard and continue past the rift's edge, slaughtering even more invaders before they could enter the fray.

To the cause of this death and destruction Stefan yelled out "Who the fuck do you think you are? You think this shit is gonna fly? This place has grown on me. I actually like this fuckin' place, and no stupid ass little Demon is gonna ruin it. Let me make my objectives perfectly clear for you and the rest of this shitty world: After I kill you here, I'm comin' for Shadow Fall as a whole, then Demon World, then your fuckin' God too! Obliterate all creation, Mugenku Sebete! Ban-Kai!"

Torrential energy burst forth from Stefan's body, creating whirlwinds for miles in every direction and killing many of the weakest demon invaders almost instantly. Despite the death and destruction above the City of Light, Stefan's power was noticeably focused away from the country's people in order to protect them from his own strength. Once his transformation was finished, revealing his hair to now be white and clothes black, Stefan gripped his Zanpakuto tightly and launched himself at his foe: Mana Asthavon, Queen of all Demons. Microscopic explosions caused by his Antimatter propelled him through the air even faster, cutting the distance between the two much more quickly than he usually could. As he reached Mana's location Stefan swiftly cut downwards diagonally, aiming to open a massive gash across her entire torso from shoulder to hip. There would be no mercy from him today. Only death.

The Melody

Artist: Carrotwine - Song: Dark Side Of The Road

Note: Sophie is set at 1-2

Every calculation had been made, risks had been weighed, and gambles had been made. Sofia understood well that the Quincy getting involved on the assault on the Demons would be met with swift and deadly retaliation. At the same time, the coalition and the other forces would be simultaneously hitting Shadow Fall, and the Queen was unlikely to show up herself. As much as it pained her not to be at the city, she had tougher battles to face, and her own men to lead into battle. Besides, being almost at the other end of the globe, she couldn’t assist on both battles at once; alas, that too was taken into account. There were Quincy in the city to whom she entrusted its protection. She couldn’t be sure if Stefan would stay and fight despite the odds, but she needed to prepare as if he wouldn’t. Instead, she left behind what was not the most powerful, but the most complicated creation she ever made: Sophie.

In her room she sat still, already dressed for battle hours before the first screams drowned out the city. It seemed ironic, perhaps even unwise to leave someone like her behind to fight against a dangerous opponent. Years ago when Sofia had the Eris Seal, there were a number of emotions that were enhanced as a result of it. The Seal usually enhanced lust, sex drive, jealousy, greed, and some other similar attributes. Years later and with the Seal gone, her creation in an aid led to Sophie possessing those very qualities. It made her somewhat annoying, and more fitting for a brothel despite her competence in battle. However there was something many, including Sofia failed to recognize. Lust and sex drive were not the only emotions that were enhanced on Sofia back then. Bloodlust, the need to battle and kill, the thrill of life and death among other things had been supreme.

For the sake of fitting in with Sofia, Sophie consciously made an effort to hide the darker of the two aspects. What remained was a bimbo that cared nothing for flirting and sensual desires. What happened when she shut off that buffer and let the real Sophie out? It was then that one could finally see and understand what the darkness and unfiltered Sofia finally represented. Unfortunately for the Demons, the beast was about to be unleashed on them.

As she got off the bed, there was a grin on her expression when she walked out the door. There was no playfulness or flirtatious look though. It was one of pure excitement and exhilaration at the thought of hunting her prey, and seeing the blood drain from their veins as the life drained from their soul. To one of her sides, a simple Demon soldier rushed towards her in an attempt to attack. She did not have a chance to see what it looked like, and she wouldn’t get a chance to later either. Her left hand shot out, gripping his neck and tightening until an audible pop was heard. Despite his attempts to scream the Demon had been silenced much to Sophie’s enjoyment. Unlike Sofia, Sophie had a bit more interest and skill in hand to hand combat. Placing a foot over the Demon’s chest, she made him kneel. Her other hand never quite left his throat. In a singular but opposite motion, she pushed down with her foot while pulling on his throat with her hand, essentially ripping his head out along with his spine.

The look she had mimicked that of somebody that had just drank cold water after hours of dying of thirst. In a way, the veiled front of dumb inaptitude, and the lack of any principal other than sexual desire had worn out the real Sophie. Luckily for her, as blood stained her white uniform and her skin, the Demons had forced her out to play, and she did not intend to miss out on this fun. In an instant she sped towards the two most powerful spiritual signals in her vicinity. One of them was the Demon, and the other was Stefan. He could certainly notice she was strikingly similar to Sofia, almost to the point of being identical. The only differences to notice was that Sophie was taller, she had fox ears, and was substantially weaker than Sofia.

With a nod, she rushed in. She had no intention of getting in his way, but she was not going to give up the chance to have her fun either. Her ring materialized into an ornate blade, while her other hand wielded a custom seele of her’s and Sofia’s creation. With just a few dozen meters away from the target, Sophie swung with the Rona blade, creating a sonic slash that shrieked like a banshee trying to sing. The magnitude of the screech was such that windows for over a block away would shatter in a near instant. It wasn’t directed at Stefan so he should have been alright aside from some discomfort. As for Mana, it was intended in part to weaken or perhaps destroy an opposing energy attack, as well as impairing her hearing to some degree or another for a discrete amount of time.

Spoiler:

Music Blasts: Either from the blade in its weapon form a shot or as a slash, or from Rona’s mouth in Origin Form, Sofia is able to project an extremely loud sound that’s comparable to a form of song that’s simply played way too high. The sonic blasts do not contain any mass and therefore do not possess any density; all they do is overly pressurize the air and push forth the waves of sound at extremely fast speeds. The ability can only travel up two speeds of Mach 2 typically, and Mach 4 in release. Still, music blasts travelling at such a speeds, and with the levels of energy from Sofia backing it means they are capable of a great deal of damage. The sounds are rather loud and deafening, almost like a Banshee’s screech. This song isn’t mean to allure and bring forth, but rather to attack and let her presence be known. In fact, the decibel count it’s so high that it can easily shatter common glass construct with ease, even when fired over 10 meters away from it. Naturally, the song is calibrated in a peculiar way as to avoid causing any hearing loss to Sofia, though the same isn’t true for her allies.

The main goal of the blasts is to weaken incoming energy attacks, and it does it quite well. That aspect can be turned on and off, so the technique can be used simply for its destructive aspect without necessarily relying on its foundational motive. To its destructive capabilities, it should be noted that each blast can completely pulverize human sized rocks into a very fine sandy dust. Houses can be sent into ruins, leaving only rubble at its wake, and several trees can be uprooted with a single swing. As for its energy destabilizing effects, its tied in with her reishi manipulation mastery and the opponent’s overall power. For instance, at a mastery of elite, the technique is able to completely destroy energy attacks from opponents four tiers below her. It will destabilize and weaken energy attacks by 75% from opponents three tier lower than her, 50% if two tier lower, 25% if one tier lower, and 10% if of equivalent tier. At master, the technique is able to completely destroy energy attacks from opponents three tiers below her. It will destabilize and weaken energy attacks by 75% from opponents two tiers lower than her, 50% if one tier lower, 25% if of equivalent tier, and 10% if one tier higher.

If used during Vollstanding, each circumstance allows her to destabilize 25% more of the energy attack than she could outside of release. If using the music blasts solely for its destructive offensive ability, then there’s no real cooldown so long as they’re not used consecutively for three posts, or three times in one post. In that case, the technique would incur a three post cooldown. If however its used for its energy destabilizing effects, it incurs a cooldown of three turns after use. The use of this technique grants Sofia a holy charge if using its basic destructive nature, and two holy charges if using its energy destabilizing effects. If required, consuming 15 holy charges would allow Sofia to increase the destabilizing effect of the technique once, by roughly half of what it would have done (i.e. from 10% to 15%).

”It may just be the two of us,” said Sophie towards Stefan. ”But I trust a friend will show up, and assist us as well.”

Prideful Quincy

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A

Yoko was currently in the middle of attempting to harness her sword skills, as she was holding two of her swords that were her spirit weapons. Her spirit weapons original form, however was a sniper rifle. As her spirit weapon was capable of taking in two different forms, once they're separated. Yoko was back in Antarctica, where the organization was operated in. Known as the vandenreich. She had happened to just be, minding her own business. She wasn't being distracted by the slightest thing, as she was focusing on having an iron grip on the hilts on both of her swords. Yoko felt like an average beginner in Swordplay, and had not real knowledge on how to use a sword, other than watching action films when she was a kid. However she felt like watching action movies didn't do any good, and she practically had nobody in mind to teach her how to use a sword properly. If she were to go up against a master swordsman, she would eventually get demolished by all means. She didn't have any other option, but to teach herself how to use a sword. Common sense was something that had to be shown in this sort of situation.

Yoko could hear the slashing in the air, of each strike she took. Each strike would perform an x shape. However one of those strikes, she fumbled her sword in order to try, and catch it, but didn't want to cut herself in the process. The swords eventually fell into the ice covered ground. Once Yoko had gotten up, she felt a strange surge of energy all around her. She began to look into the sky, and saw an Unusual color. The color painted the sky with a shade of emerald green. “This doesn't look good” Speaking of the obvious, Yoko merged both of her swords together, after picking them up off of the ground, and magically transformed itself into a ranged weapon. That being her sniper rifle. Before she wanted to say something, she felt a powerful spiritual pressure from up north.

She could also see a vortex forming from that direction as well, so she went on a detour in order to get to the location. Everyone she saw, appeared to look like they've gone mad. She avoided every civilian from contact, in order to reach her destination. She had to punch, and kick her way through in order to find herself meeting a horde of soldiers, and two individuals that appeared to be having a good time. Once she had moved in closer, she could sense two others with energy far beyond what she is capable of. Yoko had assumed the two that were to take the fight in the point of origin, against someone who she assumed was the primary source of the demonic rift. Yoko had took a stance, and began to shoot from her rifle, that created a path. The blast could be seen, and heard from the two of them, and if there was another entity. They could hear it too. As it blow off a few soldiers, as the blast radius could be comparable to that of a cero.

The Replica Shell detected a high amount of spiritual energy approaching the vicinity. Therefore, it used this common sense to know that someone or something was about to attack them with a dangerous amount of force. Ergo, rather than let her invasion force be nothing but fodder, the woman decided to utilize her grand mastery of Za Koa and Demonic Magic to otherwise summon up a potent amount of metaphysical force into reality. With the additional external output of The Demi-Network, Mana was then able to forge a dome around the Cero: Sosogikominasu which otherwise served to contain the majority of the blast within a contained radius.

In the meantime, many Shadow Fall operatives were instructed to fall back for the time being so that The Demon Queen's shell could have room to fight without worrying about getting anyone consumed in her way. Ergo, most of the soldiers scattered out across the city and started to flood out into the Antarctic continent to otherwise focus their efforts on the bigger objective away from this battle. And, to greatly minimize casualties, most Shadow Fall operatives were consumed by a thick armor of Za Koa to otherwise cease them from being killed by raw energy alone. Yes, a few platoons here and there fell to their injuries, but the majority of them were able to otherwise pull back with the oversight of their Queen.

"Shut up and act then, boy."

Even if this was nothing more than a shell, it had little patience for over bravado. If the male believed he could sincerely slaughter Shadow Fall and their God, then let actions speak louder than words. For now, The Demoness saw fit to call upon the excess external energy from Za Koa And The Demi-Network to otherwise give her a boost in power to otherwise better manage this threat. In one bolt of thunderous power, the body of The Demon Queen had been struck from the heavens above and her shell was filled with a blinding gem green light which radiated thick blobs of oil black around her being.

[Note: At this point she is now comparable to a 0-2+ character from these external factors amp'ing the shell for the event since heavier opposition came.]

"If you want to have at me, by all means, but let me change things around~"

With a clench of her hands, The Demoness then summoned a sub-dimension all around them. The world would appear to become black and white around them as she sought to otherwise contain the opponents now fighting her within a pocket realm to otherwise contain the battle without it otherwise harming the external universe outside of it. She doubted either of them would have a problem with this as it allowed both Stefan and Sophia time to savor the battle solely against the shell without interface from the external world.

"Fast one, aren't you?"

Even in this form, the shell of the Queen possessed some of her abilities. Ergo, by the time he reached to cut her in half, The Demoness had already utilized her immaterial form to otherwise scatter herself into a million pieces so that she may dodge him and reform atop of Stefan with an eruption of decaying death energy to otherwise begin the process of eating away at his duraiblity, health and energy reserves to begin draining him of his power and sending him back to the earth with an explosive bang if all went according to plan.

And based on pure luck alone, The Demoness's excess amount of DE Energy which was bleeding out of her would form as a makeshift barrier to otherwise neutralize huge chunks of Sophia's attack. It still deafened the woman, but most of the attacks reach seemed to otherwise allude her. Since The Royal Demon was seen having her ears bleed from both ends as a result of otherwise being near the eruption. Forunately for her, regenerating such a small area as the ears was rather easy to mend and repair to make like new.

So, for now, she'd merely use the excess DE energy in the air to otherwise transport a dozen spikes at mach five speeds towards the vicinity where Sophie was located to otherwise pierce her body with corrosive force. As, if she were within one hundred meters of the impact zone, the intent was to otherwise corrude and break down her energy so that she may begin to have a lot more difficulities summoning her supernatural abilities and energy. Additionally, the impact from the kinetic force could induce broken bones, rip open skin, pierce organs and otherwise send the woman hurdling a fair distance away from taking such a strong impact.

Regardless of how these attacks otherwise cemented themselves, The Demoness continued to have her body coated in DE Force as she chuckled grimly to herself while relishing the fight in this shell of a being.

"Y'all havin' fun kiddos? Rage n' shit aside, I rather enjoy the thrill of being hunted. Keep me entertained."

Darkest Dungeon OST - The Final Combat - Word Count: N/A

If Mana would coat her body in Death Energy, then Stefan's Bankai was a natural equivalent. While in his second release Stefan's clothing morphs into antimatter which covers his body head-to-toe, a material which even against something like DE could stand it's ground. Thus when she released her Death Energy to try to eat away at his body and Spiritual Pressure it'd be met with volatility that could shake the Earth as a powerful explosion erupted between the two, one possessing the strength of both Stefan and Mana's power due to both seeking to blow the other sky high. Enhanced by his Hollow side, this explosive force would likely result in damage to both of the fighters even through their defensive layers and abilities; a temporary draw in a conflict not even close to ending.

As he flew through the air, sent away from his and Mana's combined powered, Stefan launched a ranged attack by swinging his Zanpakuto in the direction of the flying spikes with as much power as he could muster. This resulted in dangerously powerful mixture of an air-based concussive blast and antimatter on the level of her Death Energy, or perhaps even superior due to the enhanced Hollow energy flowing through his body from his Mask, which would explode outward like a volcanic eruption on impact with it's target, sending forth gale force winds in every direction. Such an explosion would likely consume all the spikes at once as the Death Energy and Antimatter ate at each other, leaving nothing in it's wake.

Between the discomfort from Sophie's attack and the concussive force of his and Mana's powers colliding, Stefan was a bit rattled to say the least. However one does not survive as many wars and battles as him without the ability to overcome such a thing, and so he quickly righted himself a dozen or so meters away from his opponent and glared at her through the slits of his Hollow mask with a fierce determination, eyes glowing a bright green against the black background of Mana's creation. His clothes remained charred, though due to the antimatter quickly fixed itself as his appearance returned to what it'd been just a moment ago. With a grimace splattered across his face, Stefan eyed his foe and to the best of his ability sized her up. With the recent power boost she was even more dangerous; possessing the attributes and skills of Mana Asthavon made her a threat regardless, however. Still, from what he could tell her reserves were not on Mana's level, nor his for that matter. Yet her attacks possessed incredible power, almost comparable to his own though that was more an assumption on his part. Whether inferior, equal, or superior to his own, the truth was yet unclear.

What was clear to Stefan was how he stacked up to others in this world of logic-defying fighters. He had never been the fastest, or the most versatile, or perhaps even the strongest given he wasn't entirely sure how himself and the shark man compared in that; he never had the most dangerous abilities or magic that could end the world. To others his specialization probably seemed lackluster, too bland or human to compete against the metaphysical monstrosities that populated the world. But put a blade in his hand and Stefan could rule the world. He knew none could compete with him in his chosen field and to deal with his otherworldly foes he had to work harder, longer, and more strenuously in order to perfect his art to even stand a chance. Today Stefan would prove his effort and conquer all with the blade he'd strengthened against Colin, James, Moonie, Radioactive, Austin, the Gotei, Inami, Tsubasa, Hell, Heaven, and every other adversary who'd stood against him.

With blade in hand, Stefan coated both himself and it in Antimatter and once again began his assault. Quickly crossing the distance between the two, Stefan brought his Zanpakuto down upon Mana like a sledgehammer striking concrete, full of all the Bankai and Hollow mask-enhanced power he could muster. The Antimatter would serve to protect himself from her Death Energy as both would eat away at each other, essentially canceling out their intended effects. The physical force brought out by him would be monumental to say the least as his grandmaster level strength would send reverberations throughout the altered zone Mana had created, igniting the very air from the friction which would cause flames to erupt at random locations around them.

Following up quickly, Stefan gripped his Zanpakuto with both hands and aimed a stab directly for his opponent's head. This attack smoothly transitioned into a series of rapid strikes against the demon, each as mighty as the last. The goal of this assault was to wear down his foe's limited energy pool and defenses, using all the power and prowess at his disposal. If she tried moving away or pushing him back Stefan would press on, closing the distances and continuing his attacks with ferocity few could match. Any damage or exhaustion he'd sustain would be wholly ignored thanks to his grandmaster Focus skill which kept him focused and clearheaded. While he clearly couldn't just shrug off his enemy's attacks, he could keep fighting through them; as such, he would.

After several successive blows aimed to slice Mana into ribbons, Stefan leaped back and readjusted his form and grip so that his Zanpakuto was held to the right of his face by both hands, feet were shoulder-width apart, and his posture remained aggressive but not tensed. Afterward he once again rushed Mana and ran her down, attempting a downward slash meant to split her entire body in two. The sheer physical power alone used in this swing was colossal, far greater than even his previous attacks, and caused his Reiatsu to flare out from the volume of force applied. Fire ignited around his Zanpakuto's blade from the attack's friction which interacted with his Antimatter in such a way so as to cause another massive explosion, potentially consuming both fighters entirely along with a hundred meters in every direction. Though Stefan could feel the exhaustion of continuous assaults racking up, such a thing would not stay his hand; it was his goal to end this fight swiftly in order to move onto other battlefields. Such a thing would only be possible if he pushed himself to his limits and cut down this possessed shell.

The Melody

Artist: Carrotwine - Song: Dark Side Of The Road

Note: Sophie is set at 1-2

The battle would require a completely different approach than she was used to, and that was okay. Sophie was not Sofia. Had her creator been there, then perhaps she would be in the front lines, trading blows alongside Stefan and hammering the husk down. But Alas, Sofia was needed elsewhere, and Sophie had no intention to let her down. It was clear from the levels of energy that simply pushing herself closer to the enemy would just lead to her own swift destruction, and possibly get in Stefan’s way. And besides, regardless of how ferocious the Mana husk looked to be, Sophie couldn’t imagine it would compare to Sofia’s wrath when she discovered her aid had not helped in the battle sufficiently enough.

Luckily for the girl, despite the husk’s power, her abilities and her actions were actually pretty predictable. They lacked the element of surprise she was so used to from training with Sofia. You couldn’t just order hundreds or even thousands of soldiers to move out in multiple directions, and away from a singular area without drawing some obvious attention to it; specially with anyone that knew anything. Putting a stop, and pulling back was as simple and clear a choice as there was. On top of that, Stefan seemed to be ready to head in for a potentially semi physical strike she did not want to test her limits with. Instead, she’d allow him to take the battle up front while she responded from afar with both attacks and support of varying degrees of usefulness.

Still, she had her own peril to contend with. Several spikes of DE had been sent towards her with intentions that were all but bening. Could she had have the time to dodge or use a technique to stop them? Maybe or maybe not, and certainly. But alas, Sophie would employ no tactic to ensure either of those. Either through a lack of research on their opponents or otherwise, it seemed the enemies had failed to look into the toolset Sofia possessed. Granted, Sophie couldn’t access the major goodies such as the Vollstanding, but she had enough resources to not shy away. Instead of meeting force with force, the Quincy used the speed of her Melody and the mere nature of the music and its kinetic force for the required effect. She did not need to stop the attack or destroy it. Instead, she planned to do what Sofia once used, back when her powers could not compare to today. She simply planned to use the Melody to apply enough force to shift or push the attack the slightest bit of course. The great thing about her music was that unlike blasts, it was controlled, continuous, and ongoing. It would essentially allow her to dance and slip into the clear gaps created by the music and in between the attacks. The girl would go through with the motions, but as it turned out, Stefan was on top of that too. He had dealt with the spikes in his own way, though her own maneuver was still needed. It allowed her to create some distance by using the Melody to push away from any potential fallout that led to the destruction of the spikes.

The motion did create some very obvious warnings though. Sophie was well aware of the nature of Death Energy and its formats. She knew it could corrode and destroy at a certain level, and she was prepared for it for future attacks. Sofia had already battled DE users, and she made sure to create techniques and ways to combat it, and share that information with Sophie prior to the battle. The husk of Mana may have thought she came to corner her enemies, but she’d soon find out that her power, much like that of the little Queen was about to take a hit and a fall from grace, just like her people and her organization soon would too.

With her ornate blade raised. Rain began to pour within the area the husk had sealed all of them in. There didn’t seem to be anything too out of the ordinary about the rain other than it kept on pouring, heaven knew for how long. Although there didn’t seem to be any outwardly clear effects on Sophie, one could notice that she appeared to be ever so more nimble than before, for whatever that was worth. More importantly, by bringing her Rona blade down once more, she’d start a peculiar technique. Having created well over 50 of distance from her opponent, and waiting until after Stefan had made his move, she acted. From the ground or wherever the base of this location they were at was, several thick and thin spikes of highly dense water would project upwards. At the same time, from the opposite end, usually the sky, the same amounts of spikes would project downwards. Every spike, accounting for 5 in each direction, was made to appear over the general direction of the husk, and made to target her. Each spike could essentially grow to the length it needed to be for the attack, though none could grow longer than 100 meters for a combined measurement of 200 if taking both sides.

Unlike those on the ground, the spikes from above would not project from a location, but simply create themselves where they needed to be, as if feeding on the moisture present and the one she engineered. Each spike was meant not just to produce grave injuries, but also to impale through and potentially destroy quite sizable and sturdy forms of defense. Had she been struck, each spike would have likely pierced through, creating wounds that would be possess thinner or thicker channels depending on her position and how close to the ground or up in the sky she went. Keeping a place of balance would only have made it easier to be hit by both. Beyond that, she couldn’t believe Stefan would just allow the Demon time to sort herself into a sense of security, and use that opportunity. The spikes would certainly remain thereafter for an unforeseeable but finite amount of time. While they could not move, they were still capable weapons that would make the field a bit more daunting, this time mostly for the prey that had made the mistake of coming to the wrong city.

With a quick glance, she eyed over the girl that had just arrived. Though her energy was a bit lower, she could certainly still contribute if she desired. There was much that could be done either on this field or the next. More importantly, Sophie knew that sooner or later she would be destroyed and she would return to Sofia as techs normally did. But alas, she had no intentions of disappointing her owner. If she had her way, she would make it last as long as possible, and perhaps even make it to the end. The battle was essentially a test to show Sofia she could trust the girl to fight her own fights without having to worry about being in two places at once.

Spoiler:

Rain Dance: By raising her blade to the skies, (or in origin form if Rona raises her hand), Sofia is able to make it rain on her surroundings. The energy-like rain looks like any other in the Human world. The rain spans about a mile from wherever Sofia stands, and it tends to travel to keep the same radius from her at any given time. The main effect of the rain is as a form of scouting and spying. Through a mental and spiritual link to her own energy in the rain, Sofia is able to sense and hear wherever the rain is. In turn, this allows her to listen in on conversations, get slightly ahead of an attack, and better prepare for certain situations. Typically, the rain can last for about 10 posts, at which point it incurs a four post cooldown. For every turn that passes while raining, the surroundings are filled with about two feet of water, that being created through Rona’s control and Sofia’s energy, answer solely to her. Rain dance creates one holy charge for every turn is active.

Neptune’s Mirror: By either putting her hand or her blade to the ground, the technique begins. If there’s a body of water on the ground, it will more clearly reflect the sky, and if there isn’t a body of water available, one would be created. If the latter, then it would simply be just enough to cover the ground and potentially be as large as a moderate lake, with no more than a couple feet of water. At her command, spikes of highly dense water could project from the body of water upwards. Each spike, of which no more than five can be available at any time, can reach up to a maximum length of 100 meters. Of course, they can also be made to be much smaller. Interestingly enough however, on the sky, and equal amount of spikes, also made of just as dense water would project seemingly out of just the air’s moisture. Every spike is sharp along its length, but incredibly more so at the very tip. Without a doubt it can easily stab through almost any defensive construct as if it was butter. After casting it, the spikes will remain for an additional post, but their cooldown after they vanish is three turns.

City Of Shadows: Quincy Bloodstorm [WW4 Start Event] [Antarctica] 6EdIfMt

Song: Eternal Madness - Word Count: N/A

There was a low whistle which came out of the mouth of the shell as the collision of Death Energy and Antimatter screamed in the heavens above. The collective force of these two powers smashing into one another certainly caused the body of Mana's avatar to otherwise strain itself in terms of feeling the fallout of having unleashed such a ghastly attack. Blood exited from the pores of her skin, the bones in her body groaned with aches and pains and the woman summoned forth a layer of emerald energy which otherwise protected her from any more ill effects through her potent magic summoning.

And while this was going on, the spikes which Stefan sought to otherwise destroy would have half of it's intended effect go into existence. Sure, it was able to obliterate roughly half of the remaining spikes, but this wasn't something which Mana was opposed to. After all, they were being fed her chaotic energy and she knew that the destabilizing aura of her maddening energy would be useful as particles of this energy scattered all across the battlefield after Stefan destroyed the spikes.

[Abilties used from here on out are in the spoilers below]

Spoiler:
x Chaos Empowerment: This is one of the first major benefits of being the embodiment of chaos for Mana. In regards to that element, Mana can be empowered when she is placed into situations or surroundings that are otherwise chaotic in nature. For instance, if she was placed into a war zone during combat? She could see boosts in her physical attributes which cover her strength, agility, reaction time, thought process, durability and even more swift regeneration times in regards to her Akuma Kyodo. These can be amplified upwards of making her three times more enhanced then she normally would be. Alongside that, it increases in her energy output by receiving expanded power from the force of chaos. As, with this being her Danava Element, Mana can feed off the very nature of chaos and last longer in combat. However, if she feeds off too much energy, Mana has noted that her body begins to become too unstable and she will either take damage OR be forced to expel the energy before she can even make much use of it. Outside of that, these effects will generally only last as long as there is chaos within the area. So, once things have become less chaotic, these augmentations will only last an additional five to ten post before they wear off. If the chaos in her surrounding areas is NOT resolved, though, it can last the duration of the thread.

Spoiler:
x Disruption Control: After reawakening her Danavahood, Mana had came to discover that her Origin of Chaos granted her the ability to control, produce or otherwise control the flow of stabilization within or around her. This can be utilized through touch in some instances, infuses this element into her energy for a more broad control or releasing in sudden waves to effect the vicinity around her. So, essentially, this means that Mana can cause instabilities of creatures, beings and objects on a variety of levels. For instance, if she were able to grab on to a cero based attack? It's very possible for her to cause such disruptances to the flow of energy pulsing inside of this blast in order to either have it fall apart, attempt to lower it's effects on her by destabilizing it's core or potentially have this ability spread throughout a ten meter radius in order to have it break down before it even touches her.

On a more complex level, Mana even has the potential to effect biological systems if she were to spread her influence inside of the opponent. This could be done if she were to somehow inject this influence inside of them through her powers, or figure out a way to make an open wound or cut in the opponent. From there? She could attempt to destabilize the very nature/being of that creature if it allowed to fully take control. For instance, she could make a person's own power be used against them and backfire each time they use it or, on a more dangerous level, make their power so unstable it risks harming their well being due to the very chaotic state of their energy, powers or body.

Even more then that, this ability can even effect the very laws of physics with Mana's fine-control over this attribute. An instance of this occurring would be Mana destabilizing the field of gravity around her to make things either heavier or lighter then they normally would be, perhaps even effect the level of momentum within a given area and slowing or accelerating objects within this field; or, on a more intricate level, even lead into limited levels of Quantum Control by effecting the state of energy levels in electrons, matter, atoms, and molecules in a physical and metaphysical state. An instance of this being used would be if someone were to produce an energy based attack against Mana. By influencing the matter inside of this blast, she could possibly attempt to tear this attack apart before it reaches her.

However, with every great power lays a great drawback. While she may be able to do all of these amazing effects, the more powerful the alteration is? The more intense the toll can be taken on her body. For instance, if Mana were to try this on a city-wide scale, she could do that easily enough. However, she would feel physical exhaustion from her body being pushed that hard, mental fatigue from conjuring up all the many different applications this ability has and, of course, dips in her overall energy supply because of the amount of resources this power can sometimes have. Let's not forget that this isn't an absolute power and these attributes can be countered if the opponent has enough knowledge of what is occurring with them or the environmental.

Furthermore, if she isn't careful or pays attention to how she uses this ability, it can drain her pretty quickly at that. Therefore, she prefers to stay focused or be in a mental state to observe the different calculations, patterns or adjustments she may need to do or see in this power. Lastly, she is only limited to changing, at a maximum, five to six changes at a time; while on average, she only changes two or three elements, beings or systems at a given time. This is to prevent any overuse of this ability from getting too out of control for Mana and keep her own balance. For, if she passes that limit without releasing or entering an augmented state, she can risk having these powers backfire on her if it's used more then that. Thus, she prefers to keep it within the range of modifications at a single given time if she has not enhanced herself.

Spoiler:
x Madness Augmentation: Based on Mana's affinity for Madness itself, Mana can essentially keep herself going, energy wise, when it comes to actually feeding off of the insanity or madness of herself, alongside those around her. This has been made painfully obvious during her fights in Madness City and the Invasion of Kuala Lumpur, Mayalsia. In each of these major events that she was apart of, she displayed a constant calling to the Madness brewing all around her; which resulted in her stats being boosted dramatically. Everything from her physical strength being heightened to frighteningly new high levels, to her speed being amp'd to the point of keeping up with the likes of Colin Washi, to her regeneration dramatically picking up in speed time and even the perception of events occurring around her. All of her physical attributes had essentially been a amplified far above her regular base levels. This made dealing with Mana even more fearsome then her invasion of London; as it was obvious she had jumped in power since that time.

Though, even more then that, the amount of energy that Mana could use and store had skyrocketed from her previous levels. You see, after enough hysteria had been produced in each of these battles, she had been noted to receive a sudden increase in the amount of energy her body could produce and retain at a given time. And, since she is not just limited to spiritual energy alone, it had been recognized that she could even switch between raw energy and possibly even Madness Energy itself. Making dealing with her affinity for Madness Energy quite the daunting task; as it usually sent her into an overdrive state where she had absurd amounts of excess energy to burn through. Yet, there in lays an additional problem with this enhancement. If too much energy is consumed at a given time, or is allowed to build up, Mana has noticed that she has problem retaining TOO much power at once and has been seen as suffering physical damage, mental trauma and even some amounts of pain as a backfiring of this ability.

Spoiler:
x Madness Materialization: This is one of the primary perks from her Madness Attribute. By creating a mental channel to her unstable mind, Mana is able to project varying thoughts into the material realm. However, it is only limited to tangible things or forces that already exist on a metaphysical (See: Spiritual) level. Good examples of this ability is often used is that Mana holds the capacity to produce a wide range of weapons from her Madness with this trait. They'll generally be infused with her Madness/Chaos force; meaning that their attributes can be increased from speed, strength and effects. These weapons can also be anything from knives, to daggers, to swords, to needles and, Mana's favorite, the traditional scythe. And, thanks to Mana's Instability Resistance, most of her weapons or attacks that are forged from this ability have a heavy resistance towards anything that would otherwise attempt to negate or cancel them out.

However, it isn't limited to simply crafting weapons. Mana's Madness Materialization can also be applied to a variety of forces. A illustration of this would be that she can easily conjure up forces that could otherwise be used as armor, bondage, force-fields, reflection, shielding and other similar feats. When dealing with armor or defense, Mana easily construct a few layers of of her Madness's tangible force in order to soften the blow or effects of attacks. It can even go as far as conjuring up a massive wall comprised of this Madness Force in order to halt offensive strikes form harming her before she even needs to move. In addition to that, it can be used for reflection as well based on the fact Mana can have a sudden surge of this Madness Force explode from her body and redirect the momentum or kinetic force an object/person has and redirect towards the opposite direction. And lastly, it can make a very daunting force-field to get pass if used in conjunction with her Chaos Elements. This is because Madness Materialization can conjure up a Force Field, while her Chaos Element can destabilize varying attacks which come into contact with it.

Furthermore, in regards to binding, this has even lead to some levels of Telekinesis. For instance, due to some of the psychic elements of this attribute, Mana has the capacity to constrain her opponent by having this "Madness Force" constrict around their body and attempt restrain them in place. This could lead to the crushing of their bones, damaging them on a metaphysical level to temporarily disable some usage of their spiritual powers and lead to death if Mana is allowed to crush them to death. And, on a more advanced level, Mana is even capable of creating a statis-like field where she can deaccelerate molecules to the point where they are nearly still; though this can strain her mentally. Though, even more then that, Mana has even theorized that she can possible even control subatomic particles, but that would be fairly costly to do and could exhaust her mentally and when it comes to her energy reserves. Making it something used with caution or if warranted.

Thus, with that said, we will get into the drawbacks of this. Since this obviously is produced from the mind, this will sometimes require Mana to focus on the thoughts or changes she is trying to impose. While she doesn't necessarily need to be mentally healthy or stable to use these attributes, it is required that she be in a state of being where she can actually zoom in and visualize just what she is trying to do. So it may be possible to lessen these effects in combats by keeping her mind preoccupied or distracted with other issues. In addition to that, this can lead to mental and physical exhaustion if she pushes herself too far. In regards to using these powers, it's similar to lifting weights. You can obviously try to push your body, train it and endure it to carry these immense weights on your shoulders; but eventually it will tire you out and you will need time to either rest or risk taking damage to your muscles. In Mana's case, this applies to her mind and if she tries to do too many things at once, or push herself too far with this attribute, she risk the potency of Madness Materialization going down or not being able to utilize this power for 2-3 threads if she reaches her breaking point with it. Therefore, while this may be a dangerous power, it isn't exactly a free ticket to use some of her more advanced applications of this power. It's even possible to tamper with it's effects if you are able to detect the Madness Force, though, at that point, it will be a fight amongst you and Mana for what occurs with her effects.

Then, for the other remaining half, Mana merely decided to outright self-destruct the spikes so she could take advantage of her area of effect probability that her potent energy could do for her attacks. As, when they were triggered, these spikes could otherwise consume the entire vicinity where Sophie was in absolute fire which was enhanced enough through her chaos and death energy to otherwise induce heavy damage to her being. Skin could begin to melt as if it were butter, defenses could be burned through and this sense of further destabilization in the air could cause powers to malfunction and breathing in this essence could otherwise blacken the lungs of the woman and make it further difficult to sustain herself.

Furthermore, being in the presence of her maddening energy could cause the clone to have a difficult time focusing into her energy. There is still the fact that the aura of Mana's presence in it's amplified state could outright make it hard for her to stay in a calm or poised state of mind. Given that the will of even the original did not compare to The Queen's own (Mana should have a master in willpower), these effects could serve to slow down the time it takes to summon her attacks, induce more mental damage to her opponent and otherwise make it harder to make rash decisions and possibly have more thoughts of maddening terror induce itself into her mind. Indeed, it didn't matter if the woman could weave and move her way through obstacles if the whole vicinity was a battlefield waiting to consume her whole.

"Ya' two really haven't an iota of 'da devil ya' are fightin'"

The blood was starting to pump through the veins of the lone Asthavon. This conflict was making her more than pleased as the demoness's boorish laughter echoed throughout the entirety of the sub-dimension the group were sealed in. It is why she then was more than prepared to handle whatever blockade of attacks decided to scorch itself into the path of war the mad woman was on. As soon as Stefan went in for his next attack, the excess amount of chaotic energy in the air allowed for Mana to swiftly summoned forth a forcefield compromised from her chaos force to otherwise prevent herself from taking direct damage from The Vizard's attack. With it being reinforced by her death energy, demonic force, and Za Koa; it was hard to imagine this thing easily shattering even against his own raw strength.

In fact, Stefan may outright find portions of his attack being reflected back on him as the Madness Materialization ability of Mana's chaotic arsenal of powers allows for the momentum, kinetic force, and impact of an attack to be redirected on an opponent when they make direct contact with her forcefields. Furthermore, with the destabilization effect of her energy, this factor of her power could translate into the muscles and bones of Stefan's body being influenced by this element. Being in such close contact with Mana wasn't an ideal thing because of the fact that his body may begin to otherwise have issues summoning forth the physical strength needed to wield his colossal attacks. The male may find himself exhausting more energy to wield his blade, having vast amounts of blood leak forth from his body summoning the strength to fight against the Queen or outright having bones break in his limbs from having such a vast quantity of her energy hit him straight in the face and otherwise bring down his durability. After all, Stefan was released in and his masked form, so the woman's own energy was in a chaotic state of being having to contend with two opponents and she was in a state of raw power which could otherwise be akin to a bankai that was vastly augmented much like his own Vizard state by her chaos and death energy being influenced by the vast scene of death, destruction and instability across this war.

Of course, this didn't mean Mana would come out of this exchange without an injury on her. There was still aftershocks and shockwaves from these forces once again having such daunting collsions against one another. So Stefan would notice that exerting this much effort to sustain herself in this battle was steadily taking it's toll on her. This is due to the fact that more acidic blood was spewing forth from The Queen's battle; though she still decided to use her pain to otherwise blind Stefan by directing her burning blood straight into his eyes to otherwise make the male stripped of his vision. Though, regardless of whether or not that hit landed, the woman was seen sweating a great deal from the immense heat Stefan's energy produced and blood was dripping from her mouth as she felt the aftershocks of such hellish attacks harming her body. Indeed, Stefan was not an opponent she wanted to engage in too long with his release form and he was a major threat if he wasn't dealt with soon enough. Energy based combat was his strongest suit, but that didn't mean she could sustain this effort for an eternity and she knew the longer this battle waged on the harder it would become as fighting against Mana was akin to a war of attrition.

It is why the woman than sought to let out an ungodly scream that may outright rupture the eardrums of both Stefan and Sophie. As the shockwaves of her tapping deeper into her supply of sinfully potent demonic energy may outright oblierate everything around her and destablize the air further. Since Stefan and Sophie may find themselves having the weight of entire moutains being thrust upon him by her sheer force of power. All the while, with this ungodly strength augmented, Mana had another burst of raw chaos energy repel the advances of Stefan by creating a wall of burning energy which could otherwise negate his blows and thrust before of the opponents backwards from one another by about one hundred meters by his blade and her burst of energy colliding with one another.

In exchange for this action, the shell would endure more damage, but move itself out of the way of being sliced or diced ratherly easily. It is why bruises started to appear across her body, though her regenerative factor did play a role in otherwise healing some of the damage for the time being as she sought to get the superfical damage out of the way. By this point most of her dress was burned and tattered, but The Queen hoenstly didn't give a damn how she outwardly look so long as her body could function and perform. So while there were groaning pains from this battle extending onward, she was still in prime condition and high off her own mania to otherwise endure the strain.

"ARE YA' AN ENERGRIZER BUNNY OR SUMTHIN'? YA' JUST DON'T STOP N' I LOVE YA' FER IT!"

Something was off. Something was very off. Despite how intensive this battle was, The Shell still seemed rather confident of it's position. And in a few moments, Stefan would begin to understnad why. In a matter of moments a replica of her trust Dead Master scythe appeared in the woman's hand, and before he could get to her, the woman produced another forcefield of chaos energy to otherwise block and impede his efforts. As, this entire sub-dimension was a product of that essence of her nature and it was only becoming stronger the more particles of her energy were being ignited with each attack. So it was far out of the question that her instability could cause the explosion which Stefan desired to outright redirect and implode itself on the male so that he took the damage instead given how the environment was only becoming more chaotic the longer this battle carried out and the more potent her presence became as Stefan pushed the shell, and by proxy, Mana's will to fight harder.

[Chaos Probabiliy is in the spoilers below]

Spoiler:
x Chaos Probability: In association with her chaos element, Mana appears to have discovered that this trait has given her the ability to effect the possibility of something occurring...if it's related to her Danava Element and has a likely chance of occurring. A primary example of this power being put into use is if there was a speeding object heading towards her. If she were doing combat with someone in a populated area such as a city, it could be possible for her to use Chaos Probability in order to scan a one thousand meter radius, via her own energy, to possibly set a chain of chaotic events to occur. For instance, it's very likely that she could cause a sudden gas explosion in buildings nearby in order to have them crumble and fall; blocking said object from even touching her and taking it out in said gas explosion.

Another exemplification of this power being put to use is that she can possibility cause shifts within attacks that happen to make contact with her. What this means is that if something like, say, a Kidō spell meant seal Mana's powers had came within a ten meter radius of her. Should she be able to perceive, she could activate Chaos probability in order to make an attempt at causing an event that would null the sealing; such as the energy within the seal suddenly malfunctioning or sudden portal consuming the object in question.

On a more lethal level, if Mana is actually able to touch her subject, she could possibilty even induce sudden shifts in their health. While they may not be auto kill, it can lead to things that can result in a swift death. Such as if she were to cut open a scratch or wound in their chance, activate Chaos Probability and attempt to use it in a matter that would cause a disease of the heart to attempt to damage or weaken the opponent. Or, on a spiritual level, cause sudden probability shifts in the way their powers are used in order to cause many unstable fluctuations in their flow of energy to the point of making it very dangerous for them to use their powers by conjuring up some sort of freak disease which effects spiritual beings.

Additionally, it's also very possible for Mana to induce all sorts of curses with her probability. An example of this would be if she were to attempt to temper with a person's fortune. If this move is successful, then all sorts of things that would fall under the realm of "Bad Luck" could occur with the opponent. A shoe lace could be untied, a random piece of debris could suddenly blind the opponent, freak accidents may appear on the field and so on. Luckily, most of these effects are not forever. More often then not, these will not last more then ten to five post before they wear out and get weaker with each post. This also leads into the drawbacks of this power.

While it may be possible for Mana to perform all these tricks with Chaos Probability, she is limited in how many times it can be used. More often then not, she is only limited to, at a maxi um, six occurrences happening per post. That means she is usually capped at around two to four probabilities happening with each given post. If she happens to go above that, then her powers will backfire and the misfortune will occur on Mana instead. Furthermore, when using six occurrences, she will generally have to wait three to six posts before she can use this ability again. And, on top of that, other users of probability control may have an easier time fighting back against this sort of thing. However, the same could be said for Mana herself as, like the event of two major energy forces colliding, she could essentially cause the two opposing probability factors to simply negate each other.

What's more, it's also possible to counter this by simply moving out of range. As, if you are within the contained radius, Mana will generally accelerate the effects of her Chaos Probability. Meaning, that nine times out of ten, if you are able to leave that field of attack, you can escape the effects of Chaos Probability if she has not attempt'd to attach it's attributes to your body. Lastly, certain types of barrier could shield a person from it's effect. Though, what type, you'll probably have to figure that out on your own.

Note: It's worth mentioning that she can be drained a bit of energy when performing this ability.

Note 2: It's also worth noting that those with higher durability can withstand the effects of the Chaos Probability in which attempt to effect their body. For instance, someone with a Mastery in their durability or Hierro would have a lower chance of something being altered in their body. Furthermore, it's possible to withstand the effects of Chaos Probability by summoning some sort of force field, barrier or protection system that is strong enough to endure this. Lastly, if you are able to escape the radius of Chaos Probability, then you will truly be home free from it's reach until Mana retracts it and waits to summon it again.

And this was all coming to a head as the rain which Sophie summoned would find itself fizzling out in moments. Why? Mana had the enviormental advantge. This sub-dimension was hers, the amount of chaos/death/demonic energy was off the charts and the control she had over the enviorment in addition to the gap in power and will of the two fighters was not something easily bridged. Ergo, the Rain Dance would be outright negated by the will of Mana as she felt it's presence beginning to try and surface in the world around them. All the while, the spikes which were forming would outright be subject to her Chaos Probability and be redirected away from Mana into random directions across the city; exploding in burst of immense flame which could catch Sophie in a chaotic eruption of electricity, fire and energy from her chaotic element outright taking hold in this vicinity.

"Ya two...are really pushin' me. Ya' just won't quit, ya just won't stop n' ya just won't yield. Yet, what ya' fail to realize is that I'm only gettin' stronger the more this acursed world is consumed in chaos......"

Even as the woman was panting a bit from exerting herself, there was something off with this picture as the depths of her energy was only swirling upward. And why was this? It was something the two forgot to pay attention to: Antarctica. Indeed, while the two were busy fighting Mana inside the dome, the reinforcements of Shadow Fall were busy establishing control over Antarctica since the heavy resistance of Stefan and Sophie were contained inside this sub-dimension for as long as the two desired to fight Mana's will. And in this way they were importing a variety of different machines, magical devices, troops, bases, and resources to otherwise seize control as they were slaughtering thousands of citizens across the continent as the scarlet glow across the continent only grew stronger and the city outside the walls was clashing against the forces.

Perhaps The Queen may not take over this city in particular, as it honestly wasn't even her primary objective at this point given how much resistance was had here. But, the greater hand of the war was still in her favor as there weren't many resources to go around on the Quincy side to otherwise protect these regions. So it was a choice: they were going to have to either choose to fight this shell, or quit and try to refocus their efforts on the world around them. Yet, either way it went, the two were now fully sealed in the realm and this shell wasn't exactly going to let either of them easily escape at this point with how much dominance she gained over the world around them throughout these posts.

"...so let's take a moment to think: I'm an entity of chaos and discord. What do you think a world war will do to my will and power, boys and girls? Riddle me that, my lovely s'ugahs~!"

Myself and Frost have been DMing about things important enough to warrant pausing the thread, currently waiting to hear back.
