Continuing the pathing from his conversation with his spirit and now known hollow, Mitsuyo's mind swirled with options to his next step. How would he tackle this beast inside of him? Why would Sumire keep her under her care instead of telling him about it? What does that mean for him, if the hollow so easily brought Sumire to submission before he could? And the more pressing question, which was not the question he should have focused on by any means, the ability that Akane used, was that his shikai?"

His thoughts for Sumire continued to spiral away as now, his interactions with her became less about trying to sweet talk her, and became more direct. The hollow, Akane, was more readily available to step up for him within the seconds of them meeting one another. Yet as he looked to Sumire, she had been taking him through loops that made him feel like he was wasting his time trying to achieve. He had spent years, decades, centuries now with Sumire, and Akane showed him power that he had never seen before, while with Sumire, he barely knew what she could do. He knew she was based around light, he knew the core principle of Sumire, but she never showcased anything that made him feel impressed by her.

After seeing Akane's display towards him, Mitsuyo's demeanor to Sumire became less of a best friend, and more of just another pretty face. He care ever so slightly at this moment, fuming with a silent rage as he reassessed the situation. His prerogative only being to get to that power, and if Sumire had it, this was her chance to show him what she could do, or simply move on to being more friendly with Akane than to Sumire.

"Good... So that means we can get to work...", he spoke sullenly, as he continued his conversation with Sumire. His attitude shifting dramatically from his nonchalant demeanor, to being a lot more serious and direct with her. As she continued to stroll, the plains of the forest were clear enough so that he could walk forward for quite sometime without running into anything. Using this timing, he closed his eyes and submerged himself into Sumire's world, so that he could talk face-to-face with her.

"I am... I do not quite understand what you mean by that statement." She spoke, feeling the weight of his presence and sounding confused, and almost scared by him. This was not the Mitsuyo she knew of, but she hoped that through talking to him she would be able to calm him down.

"Look, you saw what she can do... I saw what she can do... and I don't want that to happen again..." He took a pause, then sunk inwards to himself, folding his arms as he stood firm on his statements. "You need to be stronger... I... need to be stronger. And I'm not letting that thing break our bond."

"Mitsuyo---"

"No. Don't "Mitsuyo" me, alright?... we have a job to do..." He whipped his arms downward in dismay, then glared sullenly towards Sumire as he tried to hold back his tonality towards her.

"I am not sure... I do not believe you are at the--", She coasted towards Mitsuyo and placed her hands on his shoulders, trying her best to comfort him again. She smiled lightly, and then stroked through his hair thinking it would calm him down. But as soon as she started to touch his hair, he smacked her hand away and nudged the hand off of his shoulder.

"The hell?! I know your name, I know what you do, I know your power, and I'm getting blinded every 10 seconds when a fly hits my sword the wrong way! Do you want this thing to destroy you?! Do you want it to destroy me?! Us?! The world?! Tell me, at what time do you think "I'm going to be ready" because obviously, we are in quite the time crunch here!" He lashed out, turning away from Sumire as he planned on leaving the world in that very moment, but he calmed his anger for a slight moment to speak again. "*sigh*... Sorry... Just... I don't want to see that again... alright?"

Sumire's face was frozen from how he was reacting. This was the first time in quite a while that Mitsuyo had moved away from her. He had never seen him fueled with so much hostility and didn't know what to do. She continued to step forward, hoping that the burst of his yelling let out enough of his anger to calm him down. She stepped forwards once more, placing her hands on his tensed shoulders in an effort to again calm him down as she spoke, "I was handling her well on my own Mitsuyo..."

"No, Sumire. No, you weren't." He rebuttaled, keeping her hands on his shoulders but not looking to her in anyway. In fact he continued to look outward and saw the red cluster of light that was adjacent to her own light cluster."...And until I get some better control on you, that thing is going to keep getting worse and worse..." His vision shifted to the trails of red light that seemed to connect to the back end of Sumire's own cluster of light, as if the strength of Sumire was being drained into this sea of red. He then turned to face Sumire and sighed once more. "Now look. We can do this the slow way, ensuring that this whole thing, is all for nothing. Or.. we can get this warmed up now, that way at least... I don't know."

And there it was, the stubbornness that Sumire tried to push back for years as she was along side of him. She thought he was managing it better, but she understood why it started to come out, with the pressure of meeting a captain and having nothing of merit to really say which caused him to feel embarrassed. Then a fight with a child that was smarter and more tactful than him, creating jealously and more embarrassment to quell within him. The anger from being removed from a city entirely, and now having a hollow taking in all of those emotions and using them against him, it was no wonder for him to feel tense. But rather than letting it all go and having Sumire deal with it, as she had been, he shut her out, and let the hollow take care of those thoughts... Now his anger is from the hollow seperating the two of them, and rather than making it something of his own vocation, he's taking all of it out on the one figure than helped him the most. She took all of this data in and then spoke her piece to him, hoping to get some type of sense knocked into him.
"At least what Mitsuyo? What would be the achievement for pushing at something you are not of the capacity to handle at this moment? You would be straining your body, that is already in trauma from interacting with her, and straining myself, who has been the neighboring force to her for centuries. I understand you want to move forward... but it's not the time for that...Please Mitsuyo..."

"Sumire..." He turned around to her fully and smiled softly as he took her hands into his. He understood her words, but he was ready to leave once he said his piece and simply tuned a lot of her replies out of his process.

"Yes?", She spoke clueless to his main condition of speaking, on hopes that this was him turning a new leaf and taking his time. He then leaned to Sumire and softly kissed her cheek as he faded out of the world. He then opened his eyes into reality and noticed he was still in fairly open fields. The soft smile he created in the world, immediately dropped into a neutral face as she spook seriously and nonchalant as his demeanor would suggest.

"...Illuminate." he spoke in a cold tone, and then began to force Sumire into releasing herself. Unfortunately the display of power was not much. All that occurred was a large flash of light around his body, erupting a pillar taller than most of the trees in the area and with him at the bottom of it all, as three orbs of cool white light orbited around his waist. "I would have to do it anyway, Sumire..." He spoke externally as the light pillar slowed down just enough to see him more defined within it all. When this occurred his clothing's color changed to represent reflective clothing, it was a weird silver color, but because of the colors around him, it had looked more of a mint green due to the leaves of trees and the grass underneath him rebounding it's colors off of him. The only thing that stayed consistent in his appearance was his tan skin and his all black hair. His sword turned into a longer blade made of the same refractive material, though as he looked at it it began to split apart in front of him and form two more orbs of light, causing 5 light clusters to orbit around his body. "...the Hell is this...?"

He continued to stare at the orbs as they circled around his body, the pace of the orbs beginning to slow down as he took the time to focus on each one. He then repeated his question out loud, "Sumire... what is this?" Not truly being specific about what he was trying ask for from her. He was just overall very puzzled about the situation around him. What he saw his hollow do with his power was nothing like what Sumire had, in fact it was the complete opposite. Rather than the orbs having any colors, they were purely white. The weapons he remembered seeing were no where in site, and the one weapon he held onto to summon this state in the first place disappeared into light particles.

"This is your shikai Mitsuyo... Our, Shikai." Sumire softly spoke internal to Mitsuyo, though she heard his confusion echoing through out his thoughts and continued to explain. "I can take the particles of light in the air and form defenses and weaponry for you to uti--"

"But where was that chain whip she had? Where's the scythe that I saw... She took full colors out of the sky and formed blades... Why can I not do that?!" He continued to shout out loud as he then heard rustling in the tree lines. He assumed he was alone, but the flash of light was something of a signal flare with how bright the light was to release himself. His face filled with annoyance, as now not only was his release state not what he had expected, but now he had to answer to whoever wanted to stop by and figure out what just happened.

As the figure continued to walk forward, he shout his question out to Mitsuyo, "Though I'm sure you could ask the same of me, what're you doin' all the way out here?..." he began to turn to where the question was asked, and the orbs of light that circled around his body sped up instantaneously, as though his mind controlled the rate they would spin for it's techniques to work properly if he need to fight. As the orbs spun up, they began to elongate and then fragment into 6 different swords of different shapes and sizes that seemed to hover in unison with Mitsuyo's breathing, with a final orb of light shoving itself into the palm of Mitsuyo's hand and forming into a long odachi sword without a guard. The handle itself was gray bandage material, while the rest if the sword's shape looked like a piece of glass. The blade looked compltely see through, but on the edges one could see a burning bright edge outlining the blade's edge and the backing of the sword. Between this, it looked like a prism, the blade reflected so much light between it and through it that it started to have a rainbow effect across it as it moved.

As the sword formed, Mitsuyo looked up towards the male and started to see more defining traits to the man the approached him. The face itself was hidden, but he did notice a forest green tint for his hair, and the ends of a royal purple cloak of some type. He saw the man's sword scabbard, but from this distance all he saw was that it was a black rod extending downward off of his hip as he continued to move and speak, "...And why are you puttin' on a light show for an audience of none?"

"I didn't want to cause trouble... I'm just... Just figuring stuff out." he spoke trying to keep his composure, as he didn't know what to truly do with this new form. And even if he were to know, he felt the radiating energy off of this man, which caused his previous hiccup before. "Who's asking that?" he quarreled it over as he brought his free hand up to his eyes and covered his browline, squinting to see if he could make a more consistent shape for the man. But because of his "light show", and not really being attuned to using it, his eyes were extremely dilated from all of the light, and it caused a lot of what was around him to look over saturated. The spinning of the light around his body, the large swords, and now his new light sword didn't help with this at all, in fact it could be argued that it made it worse for him.

Night in Shining Armor [TRAINING, OPEN] Empty Re: Night in Shining Armor [TRAINING, OPEN]

As the man continued to move forward, he tried to keep his ability under some sort of control wondering if the man was hostile. But even if he were, the ability would not cooperate with his who's necessity to create a front. Within a few moments, the lights from his shikai began to fade out, making his sword turn into a regular katana that and an acid wash effect spread along it's blade, and a guard that looked perfectly circular, but towards the center of the guard there was a curved line, making it look like it was a moon and a sun covering over one another. His clothing returned to a muted Navy blue instead of the reflective cloth that boosted his radiance in Shikai.

As the ability began to power down, he took note of the pressure and overall vibe of the man walking towards him. He realized he had no real reason to feel afraid anyway, as his whole demeanor, while overbearing with his spiritual pressure, was quite inviting to feel. And it definitely felt different from what his reiastu must have distorted him to feel. As he took a large breath in, he spoke calmly, "I...I couldn't tell ya honestly." He lightly chuckled as he tried to release more nervousness off of his body, reflecting on the comment of him not being able to see too well.

He rubbed his eyes a few times over, as his eyes were very dilated from his release, and having all of that bright light disappear at an instant made his vision feel darker than what was actually their. As he squinted he was able to make out more of the man's presence and felt like there was a hint of familiarity to his presence, and upon him revealing his name was Stefan Soan. The nervousness he just let go of, started to quell up inside of him.

"Soan...*The* Swordsman's Family Soan?! Oh, uhh Nami, Mitsuyo Nami..." He introduced himself, focusing more on what that family name meant to him. He knew of how well they made a staple for themselves for their prowess in weaponry, with Stefan ringing the bell of being one of the best amongst them. His face, at first filled with annoyance about being let down by his release, immediately switched to appreciation. "I'm honored to meet you, hell I...I thought it would be a couple more centuries before I even interacted with anyone in your family name, yet alone *The* Stefan Soan! Uh, sorry if I messed up your stroll or anything...been trying to train with Sumire, but... It hasn't been going to well recently."

As Mitsuyo's eyes restored themselves to being normal, he sheathed his blade and folded his arms in front of himself. While doing so he listened to Stefan speak, whilst cracking his neck and stretching slightly, his body being slightly tensed still from his release. As he started to shake off, he continued to listen and grinned softly hearing the confidence in Stefan's voice. It came off as biting at first, hell, daunting even, but over some thought it made sense. He was the greatest swordsman. Period. Why would he have anyone else even think they could have that title other than himself alone. "Yeah, I get that... bit harsh, but I get it. You're the whole reason that the Soan name sticks out in the first place.", he chuckled lightly and nodded softly, agreeing with his mindset.

As he continued to admire the presence of this moment, he was then smacked lightly by being called "a glowing weirdo" to with he still had his smile on, but he tilted his head as a shrugging motion and nodded, embarrassed at the comment. He nervously chuckled again as a response to his later saying "No Offense." joining in with Stefan's laugh towards his own comment. Sweeping that interaction under the rug however, Mitsuyo placed his hand on his neck and then looking down to his zanpakuto as he spoke. "Yeah, she's pretty interesting, never expected a light based zan to be honest." He spoke trying to cover his embarrassment, but it was no use really trying, the comment simply moved forward, as Stefan stepped forward to ask of what was occurring with his training.

"I guess it's the little +1 I've been paying more attention to now, it's got my vibe all messed up. I've been ignoring my inner hollow, for quite a bit, but now... She's been making it known that she's not a fan of that and wants to be in the spotlight..."
As he spoke about it, his nonchalant demeanor began to tense up, and thus his smile started to fade into a serious gaze downward at his blade. His upper lip quivered slightly, as he became angry at remembering what he saw it doing to his inner spirit, Sumire. His voice then became sharp as he spoke the next few lines, still talking as though he was having staring contest with the sword itself. "With her coming out more, and me already having very little training with my shikai anyway, it's been rough to get any good practice in.

He stopped looking down to his sword and looked up to Stefan, but his demeanor didn't seem to change. Even though he sounded angry, his face just looked annoyed. "You caught me when I was just trying to force my way through it. I've been trying to make her and I stronger, and hoping to deal with it later, but again, it wants attention now. So I'm in quite the bind here..." As he spoke of his inner hollow wanting his attention immediately his eyes rolled upwards as he shook his head. He then took a large breath and folded his arms over one another.
