The Silent Kuchiki

Takehiko Kuchiki

Takehiko had gone through the trouble of getting approval to go train here. He'd done for a very important reason. Takehiko heard something call to him but it wasn't a voice he liked. No, the voice held anger in it and something akin to rage. Emotions Takehiko didn't express himself as he slowly found a center in the room closing his eyes. He needed to reach for this power and communicate now with it. Dekishi was the name he knew it by. But a voice answered that he was more sensitive too. "That's not my name boy, it never has been you and that stupid childish imagination just called me it." The voice was raspy as he fell into a nebula like room. It wasn't completely together and felt far away from him. The image of a haze with a voice that sounded like something. But he couldn't hear it when it tried to declare the name. Takehiko's eyes winced looking around the place. Everything was dark and just not visible for him. But slowly a figure walked towards him. It's body gripped by shadows as they fell off of it.

The body of Dekishi he thought he saw crumbled into dust. This man was bigger and stronger looking. With Red eyes and hair, his face looked stuck on a scowl. His body was bulkier and he looked angry. As he hit the chest of Takehiko with a large finger. "What, do, you, want? " Poking him roughly on each word was a sense of shock set in. So what he saw wasn't the figure before him and the name was wrong? Or did it reject the name he gave him as a boy completely? It held the mask he'd been wearing cracking it and tossing it aside. It wasn't the mask of this being. The name he'd given had been rejected as the creature looked at him. "I...uhh..Akuma.." He muttered out a name meaning Demon in Japanese. He didn't know if that was going to satisfy this large figure. The being brought his hand to his chin closing those crimson eyes. "Aku..ma huh, I like it..but doesn't answer the question brat, what do you want?" Takehiko didn't know how to ask him to lend him power.

But he also didn't know how to do this sort of stuff. It was foreign to him as he brought a hand to his jaw. "I..uhh..came to learn how to use your powers.." The yes on it looked stunned for a moment before it burst out in laughter. Almost as though it had been told the funniest joke it had ever heard. As it wiped a tear from its left crimson eye. "Ah, thanks haven't had a good laugh in a while brat. The smile faded as its expression became serious. Looking over Takehiko as it touched his muscles checking him. Making sure it took in each fiber of him. "Nope, beat it you aren't ready yet. Can't even keep my real mask on for more than a second..That stupid shark thing was dumb by the way. Just because I was born with you does not mean you get to name me something stupid like Drowned. " He'd just been told flat out no by his spirit.

Takehiko couldn't believe it told him no really. Didn't the creature live inside his body and owe rent? What was this relationship so supposed to represent in hindsight? Takehiko just didn't know what exactly to do before the creature put a hand on his shoulder. " Now, unclog those ears, boy scout. I can't lend you my power or you will die. Dying is no good for me, I don't want your scrawny piece shit body. Your a smart kid think about it." Takehiko was just wide-eyed and unsure how to answer that. He had no zanpakuto and this relationship was increasingly problematic. Coming as Takehiko stood perfectly dumbstruck by this entire situation was another face. Ruin appeared in among the vast darkness of his inner world. [color=red["Hurry up and unlock your Shikai, this place is so dull without it."[/color] So no protection from her either showing a totally different side. Takehiko wanted to just curl up in a corner and hide away from it. This wasn't what he expected really from communicating with his hollow.

He saw Ruin next waltz right up to Akuma and stare him down. ""Not even one-tenth. In fact, you're so weak there is no fraction in any language that is small enough" This was a battle of very confident people with him stuck in the middle. Takehiko didn't know how to improve his power or body at this point. He'd gotten stronger but not enough to use this power inside of him. "Dolly here is right, her previous partner was stronger due to the vessel. Muscle up a bit kid and we'll train, I don't feel like taking over your body as it wouldn't be a good fight. " Takehiko sensed something in that perhaps it should begin fighting matches. Takehiko had trained through many things trying to find his way. But now perhaps it was time for him to look for a real battle. The question was where did he begin in this sense? Takehiko's eyes seemed to be thinking before a flick to the forehead came. Ruin stood before him as she gave him a flick before saying something. "Get stronger, then see me and brute here." He felt knocked out into the real world she'd sent him back with a finger flick.

Well, that had caused only a small bit of damage to his pride as he laid upon his back. Takehiko sighed staring upright as he felt lost in this. Dekishi was no more and Akuma was there. Did it represent the frustration and anger he kept bottled inside him? Whining wouldn't fix this but what would he do to get stronger really? He needed to spar with people and start training in that regard. Takehiko needed to strengthen many aspects of who he was. And then even more so of who he wasn't which all dawned on him from this encounter.

The Silent Kuchiki

Takehiko Kuchiki

Well with that general consensus between the two beings within him. He brought a hand up to his head. Unsure if he should just cry and sit here in a ball. All his effort meant nothing thus far. That is when it came down to reality, the hard work he put himself through. None of it mattered as the progress just wasn't satisfying them. Why couldn't he of been born a genius like his Uncle Tsubasa? Why was he born so weak and pathetic without anything? Takehiko just felt miserable inside himself at this moment. It wasn't anything but a depression of the soul as he felt cold inside. He couldn't improve any quicker this way. His way just wasn't working fast enough his strength was pathetic. He'd not toned his body or grown any maybe it was time for a drastic measure. But what was that he had to wonder as he laid there on the floor. Motivation to move just did not exist anymore for him. Takehiko didn't know but he knew of a training location his uncle set up. It was to physically train those who he may take as students. Takehiko's hand gripped the ground as he spoke in frustration. "Damn..shit....DAMMIT! Why can't I get stronger, if I could just reach Shikai...DAMMIT!" Frustration bloomed as he punched the floor with his hand. Hitting it over and over again.

His body hurt in a way that was just below the spirit as he thought maybe progress had been good. Their words cut him deeper then any blade would ever cut. His growth and training had been meaningless. It wasn't enough, was it ever enough to satisfy him or anyone? Why did they seek strength, what the hell was it? He was just beyond frustrated with this entire thing. What did he have to do to make headway go beg his damn uncle? Byakuya would tell him to do what he was. Tsubasa would likely subject him to training unknown to mankind. Takehiko just sat there now his shoulders hung. It was painful to think he'd not gotten anywhere yet. That this damn wall wouldn't get away for him. Joy for the effort he put in and progress he made with Master Cho Zi.

Takehiko's resolve was being put through a test here. One that was violent and extremely hard on him. He didn't know how to proceed now as he just needed power. Takehiko wanted to destroy this entire damn room. Takehiko knew it made little sense but it felt so appealing. Takahiro just sat there now inhaling as he looked up at the ceiling. "The hell am I supposed to do?" He said under his breath almost as though asking himself. He'd done such hard work and training on this journey. Now Ruin and Akuma both told him he was extremely weak. That he didn't compare to previous owners and that just hurt. It was like a knife digging into his heart as he just ran his hands through his hair. Standing up slowly he glanced down his eyes were dark as he thought. What options did he have really to grow in this? His spiritual growth was slow if anything at all was happening. Sighing again out loud for a moment before inhaling. Letting his frustrations go as his hands slowly lost the tension in them. The fists became simple open palms.

It wasn't Akuma that hurt him deeply with that. Ruin's bluntness hit him deep within his body. Takehiko decided to distance himself from that for now. As he needed to work on something more subjective here. He couldn't focus on a single objective any longer. Power must be obtained to meet his goal. He'd not disobey his Uncle for it, but drastic times called for more drastic training. He would prove both Ruin and Akuma wrong. Show them not only would he be strong, but he would outshine those around him. He still acted childish at two hundred years old. It was time for drastic changes to how he acted and did things. Time for him to grow up and go do something a bit more suicidal to get results. He'd heard about the training being brutal but good for the physical condition. He would venture to Thailand next on his trip, he would locate his uncle's secret training facility there.

And would not only complete the training but he would master it. Takehiko would find a way to become stronger. To improve every aspect of who he was, but before he went there. He would fight a duel of some kind that would help elevate his skills. He would have to do this the other way by training endlessly. He had a goal now and a new objective to prove them wrong on top of his other ones. Takehiko would get his Shikai and prove himself to them and his Uncle. He didn't know exactly what to expect on that trip. But he knew the next destination and what he would encounter could remain a mystery. It was about time he stopped staying in Asia alone and ventured further. Saw more of this world and its vastness. Takehiko picking up his things glanced at this room. His determination had returned as he gave a glance of just sheer willpower. He would not be broken by their words. No, they would push him to greater heights of strength. It wasn't going to be an easy road to double his efforts and work harder.

But it was going to make the Abyss fear him and the sheer resolve he held within himself.
