Will You Follow Me Into Hell? [Nizhuan/Kimitsuki]

A... hug...? Kimitsuki may not know Nizhuan extremely well, but it seemed like hugging wasn't something the hell beast liked to do; but maybe that was incorrect? Whatever the reason, Kimitsuki simply hugged the Hell Beast back. She held Nizhuan in an embrace that was warm and hopefully comforting; after all, the warm part was easy for Kimitsuki. She could just hug the woman and warm her up with great ease. However, the words that came from the Hell Beast which surprised Kimi wholly. She wanted her... out of the war? For what purpose? Kimitsuki would ask so if Nizhuan did not already follow up with another line of speech. One that made Kimitsuki unable to speak for a limited time.

Their father.... is dead? Did that mean...? Kimi did know that in a recent battle Ravan had been fell; if she remembers correctly or could connect the dots... Kimitsuki let out a gentle sigh and held Nizhuan tightly. She never could truly understand the pain of losing a parent; she was literally made from and born of fire. A parent is not a concept she could truly experience. Maybe Kagutsuchi gave her a similar experience; but due to their bond she could not consider him a parent. Regardless, she at least wanted to help how she could, within reason, to ease Nizhuan, and subsequently Liu's, pain. But now... she had to decide. To decide if she was to hide away in Liu and Nizhuan's layer of hell and wait out the war; or to stay and participate. To participate and possibly die.

Kimitsuki had to decide. A decision that would cause her to abandon her comrades in this war, to leave the earth she wishes to protect... but she too is a demon; but she also could lose her life in this war. She is not invincible, she cannot regenerate, and even if she could return after death; there was no point. The loss of someone precious, someone you love and care for; even if they return, it's a scar upon you forever. So, this is why Kimitsuki smiled down at Nizhuan, giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead, or head, and nodded.

"I understand, Nizhuan. I do. So... I will go to your layer... I understand your concern, but, why isn't Liu here too? Is she alright...? I imagine you both don't need to be here to handle this; but I do wish to know if she is at least someplace safe... since doing alright isn't really an option right now for the both of you... Regardless, yes I will go into your and Liu's layer of hell and be safe there. I don't want either of you to lose more if I can help it."

Kimi gave Nizhuan a smile. Yes, she did want to see Liu and give her the same warmth that she was giving Nizhuan at the moment but... such a thing would have to wait. Hopefully, things wouldn't end horribly; hopefully nothing more of this war will bring pain to those Kimi cares for. Hell, hopefully none of that pain comes to Kimitsuki herself.

Once Nizhuan had received that kiss upon her forehead, she knew the decision that Kimitsuki had otherwise decided to undertake. So, to that end, a sense of relief washed over her as she was at least going to be prone to listening to most of the desires which came from her heart during this war. It would make the road to come to a lot easier for her to deal with as she just couldn't foresee the rest of this war playing out as smoothly as it had been up until this point.

"Liu has grieved but is fine. She is with Abalia right now and they are discussing things. I just wanted to know if you would listen to my words and I am glad you have."

There was then a nod of the head given by The Hell Beast once those detached words left her lips.

"She'll come to you on her own time. There are important matters related to the war that those two need to handle. For now, I'm just utterly disconnected with everything around me to process and deal with these emotions. I'm subjugating my own emotions, while Liu is letting hers free."

Indeed, Nizhuan perhaps felt she could do more to otherwise care for Kimitsuki in this time of strife, hardship, and death; yet her heart was so numb that it was difficult to otherwise reciprocate the affection that was given to her outside of that single hug. It would most likely take some time in her mind to get over this loss and it wasn't easy to flip a switch to otherwise turn on those powerful, passionate and inflamed emotions which lie in the nest of their heart.

"I'm only here to give my enhancements to the dreadnought as I'll most likely being piloting this vessel in the war as Liu isn't the type to guide over a ship like this."

There was then a pause before Nizhuan glanced back at the vortex behind them and her eyes shifted their gaze to Kimitsuki out of a sense of concern:

"So tell me, when do you plan to depart back to hell? I'm sure there my familiars will instantly start taking care of you and prepping you for anything that you desire down there."

Kimitsuki was unsure of exactly what those matters Liu was handling with Abalia; but she hoped that they were matters that would help the woman and not worsen things. However, Kimitsuki did feel the slightest sense of relief from Nizhuan; somehow. Maybe it was the connection she shared with Liu and, because of that, with her other parts and selves. It was hard to exactly say for Kimitsuki, but, she knew that such a thing was quite likely. However, now wasn't exactly the time to ponder over such questions. Her full attention needed to be on Nizhuan; making sure that she understood everything that was being told to her. Or at least to the best of the Fire Danava's own capabilities.

So, she listened. Honestly, she's probably a bit better at listening than speaking; especially when you barely know the human tongue as a young demon. Regardless, she was a good listener; and listen she did. She listened about this whole thing, about Liu grieving but is fine now. Kimi could not help but wonder if that was true, if she really was fine. Losing someone like that... someone so close and loved; The Danava could only imagine what that would do to herself. What it would do to her emotions; to her fire. However... Well, hopefully such a thing was never to come. Hopefully. Regardless, Kimi's attention was needed once more upon Nizhuan, and not on her own thoughts; thinking about all of this. And the consequences of it all.

"A-Alright... Well, I hope she does come to me. Even if she must be free in all regards, the company of another can help at least cope. I... I have no experience with this in the years since I was born from fire; But all I can really do is help her where I can. I just... I do want to stay safe in her, and your, layer; but, I do not wish to go quite yet. Unless going now is the best option, of course."

Kimitsuki gave Nizhuan a warm smile, having a feeling her affection and comfort fell upon deaf ears; which was alright. She knew of their themes, Liu being freedom and Nizhuan subjugation. Honestly, it was quite the mix. One that oft reminded Kimitsuki of something of herself; a feature of herself that bound her being, her emotions, for forced self control. Something she knew thanks to an encounter that caused a loss of control; and the creation of a bind to prevent destruction. Kimitsuki thought on it for a few moments before smiling a tiny bit after contemplating. She wondered what may have happened with that form since Liu marked her; but she had no idea. Losing emotional, or otherwise, control in general had not happened in a while. Regardless, she let out a smile sigh and looked once more at Nizhuan.

"Is there anything I can do to help before going to your layer of hell..? I... I also don't wish to abandon my duties with Vastime so suddenly; I need to give Hayden at least some notice, right?"

Kimitsuki looked at Nizhuan, hoping she at least would be amicable to some of her wishes too; wanting to make sure that this was alright with her commanding officer. With the man who gave her a chance and asked her to join Vastime; her friend. Honestly, that little bit of freedom could possibly prepare this flame for temporary subjugation.
