Grab a snack...
Okuda would sit down on the couch, when the tea was offered to him he would take a small sip and listened as Ulv spoke regarding her questions. He had a feeling he would need to discuss these things, but he was hoping it would be a bit of time from now. He would sigh softly as he allowed his eyelids to cover the sapphire gems that were his eyes. Taking one more sip of the tea he would begin to compose himself, letting the steam from the hot drink waft up above his face.
“To understand the rift betwixt me and Asahi, you must first understand my life from when I was alive. I was born just before the time known as the Meiji Restoration Period in Japan, many hundreds of years ago now...I fought as an Assassin, I was one of the most feared Ishin Shishi patriots, my alias from those days struck fear into the hearts of any Shogunate member, after many years of hard fought war, we eventually won as you can read in any history book in the country. I lived for another few years of peace before being dragged back into war.
I died during a much smaller battle, shot down by enemy gatling guns. Following that, for another hundred or so years, I existed as a spirit in the human world, avoiding the hollows. Anytime I grew close to another soul trapped in the world of the living, I was forced to watch as it was eaten, my blade useless against such creatures. Finally I would eventually be capable of moving onto the Soul Society. When I arrived, I spent around four hundred years in solitude, making sure to keep out of as many events as possible, wanting to just be left alone.
That is...until the invaders came, I never bothered to learn who they were, all I knew was they attacked indiscriminately, I could not allow that to stand. I drew my blade once more and fought back as best I could. After that war ended, I joined the Gotei United...
” For the first time since he had started to speak, the man took a sip of his tea and opened his eyes to look at Ulv for a moment before he would close them again, his face which normally had kind features, had been soured for sure by speaking of these events.Things were normal for a time whilst I was in the Shinigami Academy, after I joined the fourth division though my Zanpakutō dragged me into my own Inner World against my wishes, there he forced me to fight with Shinda-en, saying that he wanted me to either be much stronger or to lose control of my own body...After a hard but short fight, it was determined I had the potential of strength and Asahi allowed me to keep control of my body, Shinda-en also...loans me his power, though he is always looking out for weakness in my heart, the chance to take over.
Asahi for his part, does not quite care about who is the owner of my body, he merely wants to one day see the world burn and hopes to corrupt my soul itself or see to it that Shinda-en takes over my body. As for why Asahi wishes this...I do not know, but I suspect he was born from the turmoil I lived through, from my regrettable actions of all the souls I cut down whilst I was still alive. I’m sure that a good portion of the souls that came to the Soul Society back in the Meiji Revolution would say I was the one who cut them down...
” Okuda then looked at the woman again, sipping gently at his tea, wondering how she would judge him and his story, would she condemn him or would she tell him that it was not his fault or some other possibility, he was unsure. All he knew was this was the first time he had ever told another soul of his life and the actions he took part in, as he had no joyous memories from his time as an Assassin nor from the Meiji Revolution itself...

ULV AUBER | WHITE MASK BUDDHA
Ulv politely waited and listened to the guy spin his tale. A tale that clearly he thought was one that was horrible and well worth the self-hatred, but one that Ulv clearly had...somewhat differing opinions about. "So you are a self-pitying emo. Great. Like I don't have enough of those, lying around"
Ulv was not hostile or aggressive with him, it was a comment as much as his taste in clothing or how he took his tea."Get over yourself, Okuda. So you killed people in a war. What the do you think the other side were doing, making cupcakes and dandelion chains? There are a lot worse things to be in life, a lot worse reasons to kill people. A lot worse things to do and have been done in War than killing people swiftly and effectively. As the people of Nanking will tell you. You were a human, fighting against humans who would kill you given half the chance. It was relatively fair. It was not, for instance, a virtually invincible psychopath of a woman murdering a room of people who wouldn't be able to hurt her if they tried all day to do it. To stand in front of a firing squad and watch their bullets bounce off your skin, for the fun of it because note you are fast enough to catch their bullets before they hit you.
It was not, torturing a man both physically and mentally and then leaving him to die rather than finishing him off once you got what you wanted out of him. Not being a savage animal who killed with claw and teeth for the psychological impact it caused rather than just using your mach-speed capabilities to wipe them out cleanly and instantly before they even knew you where there.
Hell, could have just fucked off back to Seireitei for twenty years. We are fucking immortal, twenty years is nothing in the grand scheme of millennia. But no, we decided to stay here and step on ants because they had the audacity to be interested in us. Alright they were evil torturing rapist bastards who really needed wiping off the face of the earth, but still. There were much better ways to go about it than the viciousness we did"
Ulv, who had been staring at him with quite some intensity, rose from her seat and a few steps from it, before letting out a grin. And with that grin came a new feeling. A tangible emotion - courtesy of her peerless mental capabilities - that caused a hallucination in everyone that could feel it. Notably, only Okuda since he was the only one currently around.
The walls would begin to bleed, dripping from the ceiling, welling up from the floor, bubbling from every point of the house as the love of the kill blossomed from Ulv in such thick, choking fumes. She had her back to him, as she spoke, her own story as to Okuda's own."But we didn't. Because deep down, past the excuses and the rapidly shattering mind and all the neurosis, we loved it. We loved the blood, we loved the feel of flesh tearing, ripping apart as we swung. We loved the power we had over them. We loved the fear in their eyes as we walked in the door. We loved being able to torment them to the point one guy blew his own brains out rather than let us get over to him. And we let him, because others were watching on the camera"
Ulv then turned back to him and her eyes were a deep, crimson red. The light around her was dimming, as if she was absorbing it into her. A heart so dark that even light retreated in her presence. "Pride prevented us from helping them outright, but we loved it when they brought out a new toy. We were so happy to fight against Trolls and Eves and Atlas. Perfectus were ironically named, as they never stood a chance even at our weakest. Andwe were pretty weak to begin with. About as strong as you are now, though Divine Body Of Adamant did certainly give us some advantages. And hey, as much as I am in so much more control of myself than she ever was, I am not going to deny that when Typhoon dropped down, there wasn't a small bit of my looking forward to it"
The blood coming down like rain would be easy enough to realise it's nature once it actually touched him, since it didn't feel of anything, except what his brain might psychosomatically believe it felt like. Ulv releasing her entire emotional spectrum, would be like drowning in crimson purgatory. Such was her oppressiveness against his lack of mental defences, that this whole situation would be one of abject terror."You have killed a few people in a warzone, and think yourself so irredeemable you have held tightly enough to retain your memories through reincarnation. Something that wipes away everything of a person and gives them a fresh start. Nobody you killed will even recognise you. Unless your immense self hatred is born from the fact that you bled them out over hours while their family watched. That sort of trauma sticks with you, thought context is often lost"
And then, just like that, it was all over. Ulv was back on her seat, sipping her tea. The blood was gone, the crushing mental weight was gone, Ulv's eyes were their normal yellow and the light was also a normal level. Such a sudden snapping change would certainly lend credence to the idea that he had just hallucinated this whole thing. Maybe a ploy from his Hollow to weaken him so he could take over."So, my advice would be to stop worrying so much. Your unforgivable heinous acts are eminently forgivable and not even a breach of any convention laid down by human law. You are far from the evil creature you see yourself, and if you change your opinion of yourself, your Zanpaktou spirit will change it's opinion of you. Since it is a mirror of your emotions, it is in sync with you in a way the Hollow will never be.In fact getting out of sync with you will cause you to lose your ability to use the Zanpaktou"
She would finish her cup of tea and stand up, heading to the sink.
Another point in the favour of the hollow hallucination, was how Ulv moved. Before, when the blood dripped, she prowled like an animal hunting it's prey. With a savagery about her and a coiled preparation to strike. But now, she moved with a soothing, peaceful gait. Every step so sure and well placed it was an encouragement to watch, to aspire to. "Also, try to mention the fact that if you get your body taken over, your Zanpaktou spirit dies. It's not going to stick around to watch the show, it is literally you embodied. So, when there is no more you, obviously there is no more embodiment of you. The Blade Is Me. An old phrase that has fallen out of circulation, but something to take literally. You are not horrible or worth a tenth of the hate you have for yourself if your Zanpaktou is any indication. You are human, a rather normal, unremarkable human at that"
Putting the tea in the sink, she span and leaned against it, smiling at him."Now, you are welcome to stay for the Festig tonight. It's a small party held tonight, then a larger one this time next month, and then a true and full festival on the 22nd of December. Tonight looks back on the year that has been. It is a time to reflect on the past and acknowledge what has happened there. A preparation for next month when we leave behind the baggage that we have gathered over the year. Tonight decides what is baggage and what we carry into next year. Some make effigies of the year tonight and burn them next month, others just dance. And on December, it welcoming the new year and the future. That's the best one, I do Solringen to the backing of a beautiful orchestra. The vibration of the rolling drums in your heart is quite unique.
Though tonight is no different, I do Otar The Foul. It's a cool thing. If you like nearly naked women shouting a foreign language to increasing percussion drums"

Cool Story Bruh.
Okuda listened to the woman, watching her as she soon was standing up and the very air in the room felt charged, her presence now like that of a wild animal as something he did not expect began to occur...The very walls and ceiling began to melt...no...they began to bleed. Okuda’s eyes momentarily flickered from the woman to a nearby wall to the cup of tea in his hand, wondering if she had slipped him something in his drink. It was a common method of assassins, especially in the times following his own when assassin’s fought for causes and were then fighting solely for money.
No, it was not that, he was sure of it...Was it Shinda-en using his own Reiatsu to fool Okuda? Possible, but he was unsure of what he had to gain out of it, he was not a sadistic creature on his own after all...Though, it was possible it was Asahi influencing the Hollow without Okuda knowing once again. He sighed as a few beads of sweat began to form on his forehead as he continued to listen to the woman all while a sense of dread and fear began to well up within him, emotions he had not felt in quite some time to be honest.
Then just like that, her long story and the sensations he had been feeling and even seeing were gone. As if only to lead credence to the idea that it was a ploy by the Hollow within him and not a drug of some sort. When the weight that he had not even realized he seemed to be fighting against lifted from his shoulders, he fell forward dropping his mostly empty cup of teat to the ground as he began to pant, a cold sweat having had enveloped his whole body by this point.
Some tea had managed to spill onto the ground, but Okuda was not overly concerned about that. He had taken in every word the woman had said and knew what she was trying to do partially. She was trying to impress upon Okuda the fact that he was not all that special for just having murdered people in a war. A fact he had left out was that he was still but a child in most respects when he had started, only around the age of fifteen or so when the war was reaching a fever pitch.
Okuda slowly brought himself back to his regular seated position, picking up the now empty cup that once held tea and used his black kimono to try and wipe up the small amount of tea that he had spilled, it was his fault after all. He then shook his head softly as he stood up and said, his voice strained from the effort he did not realize he had put himself through. “As much as I would enjoy the festivities, I think I should return to the Seireitei for now and...think on what you have said for now...
Okuda then gave the woman a slight bow as he walked from her home slowly, his gait a bit unsteady at first, but slowly he would find his footing again and leave unless she stopped him. If he were permitted to leave he would exit the city limits and open the Senkaimon to return to the Soul Society where he would think on what she had said to him...
