Drenched in golden rays of warmth, the glow of the morning sun scorched away the cold scent of death and decay the cold blanket of the moons night gives spirits. Staring longingly toward the heavens above the sea, The Lux Orior leader's blood-red gaze wandered for many hours. Walking among the country he terraformed to be of use, all of the cities in the backdrop of the beach were nothing but background noise to him as he pondered in his heart about all that had occurred in the last year of Earth.
Between the constant smothering of World War, the demands of the organization he leads, the many lives lost and the undeniable outlook of change on the horizon; it was hard for him not to feel a sense of loss for what to do from here. The dynamic of the planet was in such a tender place that it was going to take far more than just brute strength to navigate the complexities of the chaos this earth was drenched in. And, for that reason, a soft sigh escaped the man's pale lips as nostalgia for simpler times oozed in his mind. The days where just the gung-ho attitude of a bunch of rowdy teenagers drunk off their power could easily change the world.
It was a sobering reality to see how hard his reality has changed throughout the years, but perhaps this pain was guiding him toward something. Should life be like a phoenix, then what has ended is bound to arise from the ashes to burn new life into existence. And, if that should be the case, it was up to him to figure out what to make of this new world. Hence, he made sure to console his loving wife: Midori Sugiura.
As he stood on the cusp of a new world, he wanted to at least have his lover by his side to otherwise figure out how they should traverse this uncertain future together. There were many worries drowning in his heart, but it is for that reason why he was calm. As the point of finding one's self with another is to shoulder both the good and bad times together. So, as a cool breeze washed across his snowy hair, the male merely took in the morning atmosphere and let the bright comfort of this new dawn sooth his weary soul.
