So she had a spirit that was always good with training for anything. Those who did would go far in the world. It took spirit to stand up to the darkness of the world. Learning about pain and accepting it was one way. But he believed in another way, something more sensible.
He gestured for her to follow him outside of the building, where a single dummy stood. He needed to see what her prefered method of attack was. But given she was one Captain Murasaki's swordsmanship could be the solution. "So to start out, strike this dummy in what you consider the most comfortable fashion. We'll go from there, depending on the current skill we can build on it or develop one for you."
He could feel Vait's unease about this whole situation. Within him, the Hollow seemed restless. Wondering how much they had to do to please the Captain Commander. Nothing could be done about the Gotei's leadership situation.
It was for the moment stationary, the number of active Captains was abysmal with only Murasaki being active. The Combat, Stealth, had been basically in stasis. Nobody had heard from the Captains of Kido or Research and Development much either. Or at least he'd not heard from them.
They were most certainly the weakest among the alliance, his stomach felt a knot of unease in it. So did his friend Vait, they both knew it was only a matter of time. Before something happened, his skin had been crawling lately.
But there was no point dwelling on that with the present situation. He had ideas and Shigure Shinrin Ryu was easy enough to teach people. To let them develop their own form of it. He'd already shown Hanako it, what remained was more work.
Refining the edges he was preparing for the Gotei. In case the call to action ever came, the problem was those among them who could realistically fight those two were empty. They had no further trump cards to play or strength in that regard.
The Gotei's fangs had begun dulling in this era of peace. No longer did a Kenpachi exist, as Ibiki was the last of them. And his request to train with them fell on death ears yet.
He could train the young, but he didn't wish for them to encounter one of those yet. The experience of facing something like Zefonse Kaizme took him years to recover from. True monsters do exist, how could he close that gap? His mind focused in on the dummy putting these thoughts to the back of his mind.
There had to be a solution, something he could do to reach that level. Whatever the case, maybe it was time he went to see the former Captain Commander or her Zanpakuto. The idleness was making his skin crawl. Sitting still bothered him despite the personality he had.
Especially when the times like these came around, reminding him of Zefonse Kaizme.
