Moonlit Jungle Crash [V] Empty Moonlit Jungle Crash [V]

Moonie Iramasha did not know what a jet firing up sounded like.

But he did know what noise flame made as it pushed out around a surface.

His entire body was bent over backward, his arms and legs pointed away from the direction he was descending. Gravity was having its way, but something was off.

Maybe it was that small smile on the man's mouth.

His descending form was close enough to a civilization with meteorological proficiency to be able to tell that this man's rate of descent was unnatural.

He was moving faster than terminal velocity for Earth's gravity.

If one looked closely at his body, they could see wisps of purple darting between the flames. The flames had done away with the majority of clothing, leaving only the pants that he wore.

The full moon shone on a beach on the shores of Vietnam. A mostly peaceful community, a settlement near where the jungle met the sea. One of its citizen pointed up at the sky with an exclamation, the blazing comet that was approaching having finally come into sight. But that was not what had alerted them; it was the way the ocean had begun to pool, rising up into the sky, the water physically dragging itself toward the heavens.

"Ca…Hahahaha….!"

The man's eyes opened wide, his body increasing in speed once again.

The ground shattered.

Buildings shook.

Those structures made of weaker materials near the point of impact were blown away. The water was blown about by the sheer force of the impact. The beach itself receded several meters. People began to evacuate, the sound of sirens and alarms going off.

Then, the ocean pushed back. Waves crashing down, right onto the edge of the newly formed crater. It possessed a kind of ferocity to it, as more and more water pushed itself into the hole.

By this time, however, the creator of the devastation was floating through the sky above it, his blonde hair flailing about in every direction as his ringed eyes examined the effects of his descent. "Voi…" The animalistic noise escaped his throat, his body unnaturally floating its way back to the ground.

"Caha…. Mm?" His oncoming fit of laughter was interrupted. The man's bare feet pressed onto the edge of the beach, into the long plants that grew through the sand. His red ringed eyes scanned the area, trying to find the creature he had felt. The muscles in his arms tensed, drawing out to either side of his body, open palms facing the sky. A part of his back had fallen out like a shard of broken stone, impacting the sand below. Black blood oozed from the wound. His throat seized up, his teeth separating as a noise emerged from him that drowned out the sirens. A roar of challenge, a call of bloodlust.

"VRAAAAAAAIT!"

THE ENDLESS STRUGGLER

The girl tosses away her life to chase the near-death. Blood spills. Souls scream. But only one stands satisfied. All is done, but addiction fuels further. Her bloodied body continues to war. She seeks to satisfy, but her cardinal sins breathe eternal. The end is transient.

Blood oozed from the cracks in the final Hollow's skull before its body turned to dust and dispersed into the humid atmosphere. That marked fifty, and yet V huffed sharply in disappointment. There wasn't much difficulty and therefore not a whole lot of fun to be had killing all this small fry. Nothing came of it. Her endless bunny stamina kept her capable of more, and the lack of adrenaline burning through her body made her desire it too. Yet nothing so far had fulfilled her desire for challenge. She had been hired to hunt down some Hollows near the local town and was just finishing up. Her hopes that there was something that could challenge her here were dashed, and V was about to give up...

But what was this?

The dark skinned bunny woman didn't need to see the creature that crashed into the nearby beach or the damage it had caused to know that it was capable of intense destruction. The faint sound of sirens would have gone unnoticed at this distance, but V wasn't fully human. Her bunny ears caught the faint wail of the sirens, the sound of people fleeing for their lives, but none of it even went noticed.

The only thing that V heard was the animalistic warcry of something that might as well have not been human.

Moonie's declaration of war was promptly met with a not too distant sonic boom as the sound barrier was promptly shattered. Trees parted and were promptly toppled as V sprinted just a little above Mach 1 in the general direction of the sound, only tuning her trajectory once she could smell him on the cold, nighttime air. A minute later, and he treeline was broke. V exited the jungle and came skidding to a halt along the edge of the crater that Moonie had created, and so she revealed herself to... whoever the fuck this was. What he wanted, she had no idea, but it was hard to hold back her trademark cocky grin and single raised eyebrow as she eyed this being with a look of aggressive, morbid curiosity. Maybe this could be what she had been looking for?

Moonlit Jungle Crash [V] Empty Re: Moonlit Jungle Crash [V]

The blonde figure's head waved back and forth.

Back and forth.

Adrenaline coursing through every part of his body as his cackling grew in verbosity and intensity. Something was here that was finding its way inside of his blood. Something firey. Something that made him want to lose control. Something that called to the beast within him. His spiritual energy rolled off of his body in ripples and waves, like the ocean in the distance behind him.

BOOM.

There it was.

Moonie's cackling stopped. The smile stuck on his face remained there, his eyes quivering.

There it was.

His body shook, quivered. His blood beat itself through his body. A war drum, whose strongest note had just rung out through the field before him. His gaze turned up to look at the symphony of his soul's newest player… and was delighted to find the cocky smirk on her face.

The bunny ears on her head stirred something within him, as before her eyes, the ears on his head began to move, shift and elongate to above him. Out of the base of his spine, blonde hair sprouted, shifting this way and that. His pure smile shifted, becoming a wolfish grin as he gazed upon the bunny woman.

He stood like that, his tail shifting from one side, back to the other. There was only one reason why someone would answer a call like the one he had just released. Only one reason they would have that aura. Moonie's thin layer of self-control was teetering on its barest edge. "Fast enough…"

His body stood there in front of her. While he did so, his purplish black energy began to sprout out of his back. Peculiar rods began to form, extending outwards, new rods sprouting from those and forming rings of black flame between the rods. She could hear the dirt being… shred? Beneath him as it formed. Moonie's right arm reached behind himself, gripping onto the obsidian construction. The muscles in his arms; the grin on his face. That was all she would be witness to before he thrust the disc outward.

The ripping and tearing flames kicked up quite the dust storm as it ripped along the ground. His flames did not burn; rather, they rip and tore with an incredible amount of friction. The one he had launched had perhaps the strength of a typical Cero; perhaps eight feet in diameter.

But, all things told, the Moon Iramasha did not care about whether it hit or not.

He just wanted to hear the sounds of it crashing and tearing against everything in its path.

He just wanted to see the way that she dodged, when put into a place of desperation.

His cackling stopped, the grin returning to his face, speaking to her at last as the sand ripped past his chest and face. "Voi. The Boss says it's rude not to introduce yourself. Just call me Moonie."

"VRAAAAAAAIT!"
