★ What the hell are OTY's? Well, my friend, that is pretty simple! Towards the end OR beginning of the year (depending on when staff can be assed!), we usually host Of The Year Nomination and Finals. In this event, we go back from the past year of 2020 and attempt to pick out different types of finalist to compete for OTY Finals from the nomination list. These can range from Thread Of The Year, Character Of The Year and etc. So, in this thread, you'll be tasked with picking whom you think deserves the OTY by nominating them. Please try to avoid nominating the same person/thread/character if they have already been nominated. Please.

★ You can only vote for one member! ★Make sure to state the name of the person you are nominating ★ This contest has a week before it will be closed by a staff member. ★ Try to think about your vote a little before aimlessly casting it. ★ If someone is already nominated, try to nominate someone else. ★ DO NOT NOMINATE YOURSELF
★ OTY PRIZES ★
★First Place: The person who wins first place in this "of the Year" will receive one wish of their choosing by staff. We have full rights to deny it, so find something within reason. This can be anything from a board made tier upgrade for a character, skill upgrade or whatever. The catch is that you'll have to pitch it well enough for us to do it. ★Second Place: The person who wins runner up will get an honorary mention in the Of The Years/Winners ★Third Place: The person who comes in 3rd will get an honorary mention. |

| Bro. Have you heard of that shit called RioxHakuyou? If you haven't your missing out. I can go on and describe it, you know I'm going to leave a short description here as to why I support my decision but I am also going to deliver unto you the threads in relation to said romance. This ain't no relationship of boys and girls people. Here you got a relationship between two mature adults. Something I think is pretty fresh for the most part. I like how organic their meeting is. I like the context and previous dynamics between the families as Hakuyou has previous experience with having a crush on Yourichi before he left Soul Society centuries ago. I like how they talk to eachother. I like their date and how forward they are with eachother. I like the implications of what is more to come. I like their valentines thread. I went through all the trouble to grab their threads. Let me also mention. They have more interactions in the Funeral thread which I recommend reading by merit of also just being a good thread beyond Rio and Hakuyou's interactions. I mean between Cyrus self percevied divinity holding him back from genuine human emotion- and Helle breaking that- it's pretty good. The fact that Helle is such a white girl whom earnestly tries to do good, and Cyrus world view, it all synergies well. I'm very curious to see the advancement of the two. |
