Only one person he was able to talk to or even remotely bother. From all reports of her personality. He was going in the dark, but it would pay later on to know who he was working with. The Captains acted completely within their own jurisdictions. He had an idea of what her answers would be.

Based on one thing, the last name of the Captain. She was related to him, which often made things more clear. A family could determine a lot of things. His own had some strange practices, but none the less it promised to be an encounter.

He'd brought his Zanpakuto with him, though he didn't believe he would need it. The Combat Division was recruiting and doing well now that Shinryu had been gone. But this situation with Squad Two and Five was troublesome. But at the end of the day, mind his own business seemed to be the message.

Didn't mean he couldn't take members from other Squads, to get his own ready. He went to her domain to make her comfortable, the least he could do at the very least. He left instructions with his new vice-captain to see what manner of visit it ended up being.

This would be his first interaction with a Captain, it had been a while. Last he remembered was Squad Nine's destruction at the hands of the Arrancar. He'd let a few people know who he visited today.

Perhaps uneasy due to the unsavory rumors that floated about around her. Worst case it became a battle, she didn't know his skills. But he didn't know hers either, trouble was her father used poison. He could feel Vait in his hollow put a hand on his shoulder.

Within his inner world, right he wasn't alone in this meeting. He never was alone, not so long as Vait was here. While he ran the ship, they were the ultimate tag team. He waited for one of her Squadmates to inform her of his arrival.

He'd sent a notice on ahead to make sure she was prepared, he glanced outwards towards his Division. Combat always walked into lion dens. So this wasn't any different from when he faced Doctor Hebi. Just happened to be in their backyard and not Hebis.

"Captain, you have your appoint-"

"My what? Can't you see I'm busy."

True to her nature she was busy, it didn't matter that someone wanted to impose on her time and schedule. She ignored most of the people that bothered her anyway, that was the benefit of a predator. They didn't listen to people lower on the food chain than them.

"I know. It's just, it's the captain.."

The captain looked up from the gigai she was working on. Something one might describe as a masterpiece for those that understood gigai construction. For the captain it was just work though and her bare hands came out of the guts covered in a pink substance. It definitely wasn't blood she was working with in there.

"Fine. Bring him in then."

Gamu relented but resumed her work, it was unlikely he'd actually be worth her time considering Abalia had already given her all the information she needed to be kept updated with. Her peers were just nuissances really.

He was brought in, his eyes came to the gigai she was working on. It looked impressive, though he didn't know the construction or have the brains for that. It was no doubt the high quality, better than anything market value. His impression of her became clearer, she was one who didn't like having her time wasted.

"Flattery aside, your craftsmanship is impressive. " He said softly peering at the device he was brought into her workspace. He didn't bother wasting time, he was giving a baseline report on one fact.

"We lose right now, any fight we take we come up short against them." The Gotei was the weakest Organization at the moment. Simply due to a few reasons. From a military standpoint, if it were just them. No retired Captains or anything of that nature.

The roster as he saw it was lacking in this regard. But what was lacking could be mended and maybe devised a way around it.

"With that in mind, I'd like to ask the Third Division to devise a training course for the Combat Division and others who'd like to take part. As a means of raising our military might and tactically strengthing our shortcomings. If it's too boring for you, I do understand. "

He didn't mean it in a mocking way, her work was intricate and this was obviously something less so. Making a training or facility where people could be put to the test and even train themselves to higher levels. The fact was science was going to be a key in evolution. So a leg up would have been nice, but he got the sense she'd not play ball on this request.

So he'd better start thinking of other ways to improve himself and the fighting force they had for the frontlines.

"I guess I am something of a good cook."

Whether or not she was listening to him was questionable. Her hands still fiddled with some kind of artificial gut inside the body and her head was basically inside the stomach as well. Maybe it would make him leave her alone if she buried her head in here.

His comment though made it clear that wasn't possible. Especially when he finished and made a request which surprised her. Not because it surprised in a good way like a monkey doing a complex puzzle she didn't expect it to be able to do. The opposite actually. There was a little squeeze of too much force from her hand and that exploded in her face with sloppy pink ooze.

"Excuse me? Are you stupid?"

Well yes, most people were stupid as far as Gamu was concerned. Stupid was just an easier way of saying "Not as smart as me."

"Who is them? Why do we come up short? Why are you asking me to make you a training regime? Are you imcompetent? Isn't the captain of the combat division supposed to specialise or know how to train people competently for I don't know, combat?"

Her scathing analysis of him probably was a bit harder to take serious with all the goo on her face.

"I get you might feel out of place, you're a new captain I get it. It's your first time with responsibility and you want someone older than you to help but little um, what's your name? Forget it. Doesn't matter. You didn't come out of my womb, I'm not your mother and- most importantly, I'm not here to run your division or do your job for you captain~"

After she finished her initial volley she leaned forward, using her finger to encourage him to come closer like her voice was going to be quieter to say her next bit but instead if he got closer then Gamu's hands flicked and aimed to stain his nice uniform in the goo.

"Now Sweetie..."

She addressed while holding him by his chin.

"I hope we got the really silly thing of the many more important things you came to talk to me about out of the way and it was just a joke, because if you really wasted my time to complain about the Gotei not being good enough for your tastes and made me break this gigai then we have a problem."

His expression narrowed, so this was her personality. It was as he expected, no maybe a bit further. The cook line was strange, but it fits into the personality document he built on her in his head. Appearance-wise she did stand to reason, though judging the book by the cover.

"Very well, in a one on one fight between the Gotei and Shadow Fall or K-World, who in your wisdom do you declare wins it? No outside help or interference from allies or other bystanders. No past people intervening or playing savior, only what we have now..nothing more. No Vastime, just the Gotei on its merits." His voice came out razor sharp and didn't leave any room for interruption.

His eyes narrowed, he didn't like her it seemed a combative attitude was what she brought. How annoying, putting words into his mouth, such unintelligent banter wasn't expected.

"No, no your hearing has gone. A training regime, I feel that's beyond your capabilities. I mean sure, I can take the stuff here and create a course for all of the Gotei to use. I thought Research and Development with its name and all could handle it. It seems my prior assessment of this place was mistaken."

He didn't have any problems if someone rubbed him wrong or decided to do this. He was quite alright with setting them straight and in their place. He got what he needed, it was going to be as anticipated. These two wouldn't coexist in any sense of the word. Hostility was obviously something she majored in. But, one shouldn't slap someone and expect not to get slapped back.

"Well, this was certainly a letdown, though it's about what I expected, guess I should set Kuro as the standard to judge my fellow Captains or Liana. Sorry for wasting your time and mine cupcake, I'll see you around. Let me know if in your math or calculations we win a battle against them alone without the others. Until then nice making your acquittance, I must be off." He didn't mind flinging insults with her if need be.

Oh yes, he was uneasy about them fighting because he wanted to know realistically what the chances they won a battle like that. He inhaled calming his blood, he could feel his temper had risen. infuriating woman, her words stung. Exhaling a breath, he found his composure.

"I suppose you are right, it's my job to fix the sorry state we are in that regard, thank you for the council."

She frustrated him just as Ravana and Colin did when he met them, different people but infuriating none the less. He'd have to deal with the matter himself, by his measurements, they came short of Shadow Fall or K-world's military applications. But that wasn't her problem, was it?

The military fell to him, the ninjas to Five, and the scientists to her. So it was his job to make a training program, no it would be sparring best way forward was to beat the crap out of one another. The Lion's den, indeed she was blunt but it helped him snap from his worries.

He'd not make the mistake of asking a Captain's help again, no it was his job and that had been made very clear.

What a cute little argument she thought. It was hard not to burst out laughing like she found it funny but it was cute that this new little captain created extreme unlikelihoods in which he based his actions around. No, it was silly even.

It would be like if she dropped all developments and innovations Abalia had requested of her and dedicated those resources and time to an endeavour because this man here deemed the unlikely situation of a 1v1 against an enemy organisation was beyond the realm of extremely unlikely. It was a testament to her that she considered herself the most ignorant of geopolitics and happenings of the outside world because she didn't care, and she felt like she knew more than he did.

"Please don't insult my division, they work so very hard and I hate to see their little faces drop when a stranger dare come in and question the validity of our work and name. You may try to lord your fresh little face over me but if you insult them? I'll break you down into little pieces and make something actually useful for the Gotei out of you. Understand?"

She threatened. The protection of her division's name though was just a front. For Gamu it was as simple as she wanted to hurt him. The rabbit doesn't step up to the wolf and think it gets out unscathed. It gets killed.

"So before you run off..."

Gamu started, getting in his way before he could leave. It was her job to educate him it seemed.

"Your focus on extreme unlikelihoods is cause for concern. In fact, I recommend reevaluating your views before they lead to delusion if they have not already. I don't know where you got it in your head that the Gotei would fight these threats alone, such organisations you mention have far more enemies than just the Gotei. Therefore you delude yourself into the notion of isolating. Simply put so your little brain can understand me..."

She leaned into his ear, completely aware of some of her division members seeing the two captains in what seemed like an embrace. Let the talks travel, she'd explain the story she wanted her division members to know anyway.

"You sound like you think everyone's your enemy but trust me, so long as Shadow Fall and K-World have other enemies, you might do well to reach out to those allies of our's and share wisdom rather than trying to see them as enemies as well."

When she pulled away from sharing her little secret. She made sure to pull him in to kiss her, just to smear some of her saliva on his lips and tongue. Given it's drug like properties he might even find it calming if he didn't resist it but she still didn't like him so it was almost aggressive the way she shoved him away.

"Now. Get out. You've wasted enough of my time and killed a perfectly good gigai... unless there's something else?"

Well, it had been a trip she was most certainly an interesting person. Slowly boxing him in and it was all going so well. Before someone else decided it was their turn to ride. Yoshitsune shrugged his shoulders within his inner world. After she kissed him calming him, his eyes had turned a hollow color. A grin formed over his lips, as a voice came out.

Not his but Vait's who decided this conversation was fascinating. So the hollow wanted in on this talk. Yoshitsune was a team player, so a take over for a little bit didn't bother him. He had to control and could it at any time. He stood still not saying anything during her rant and such.

"Tastes like a sedative mixed with cheap perfume, thanks I'll savor that one in the recordings. " He began stretching as he looked around, the place was interesting. Vait had to admit so many buttons that could be pressed.

She too, but why start there it was the first introduction. "Chopped into bits to make something useful, is that before I carve my name into your tits? Or maybe after the fact?"

Threats were fun, making them had such exciting consequences for actions. But like that the fun thoughts were over. Within one moment, Vait was in time out getting scolded by his Zanpakuto. His breathing normalized as he cracked his neck left to right.

He did it on purpose since he just needed a moment's calm and quiet. A second in the darkness within.

"I see your point, sorry let him out because I needed a few moments. As for the insulting previously weighed, I'll rescind it. I'll set up sparring camps between the allies, see what that gets me. Your counsel is welcome, maybe next timeless vile would be good on both our parts. Good day Captain."

The idea had a lot of promise he'd need to ord things right and make sure his Squad behaved themselves. But it was about time they started learning from the allies not hiding from them. Weren't enemies, so that meant they could fight them. His blood was boiling with excitement and anticipation.

Who would he get to spar, but he couldn't worry about himself not yet. Hanako, Laskt, and Saera would take priority. They needed partners from those factions to fight. This was the brick he'd been looking for, he'd update his files on this Captain as well.

"Good luck with that."

She said to the hollow, it was very unemotively stated. Gamu after all was suppressing her more instinctual side which begged her to attack the hollow-kind, hollows were too much like her to not want to indulge in defeating and killing them.

As he left she shrugged. Waiting for him to leave before heading out. Turning to her division members who were still staring at her like they were trying to figure it out. No one kissed Gamu, kissing her could never go anywhere good. It was like sticking your head in a lion's jaw.

"Ah, an explanation is due yes? The new captain was just so unsure of himself, an incompetent mess really and blaming the Gotei and all of you for not doing enough. He wanted me to do his job for him, begged me, threatened me, tried to seduce me to fix things. Ah, it's unfortunate really. The combat division seems to be cursed."

The small twisting of the truth which would turn into gossip and spread in regards to the captain. It was just what happened when the rabbit came up to the wolf like that, the rabbit just needed to remember that the wolf bites and Gamu's predatory nature didn't like being challenged by something lesser than her.
