I. The Host's Personality

» Personality: Dull yet curious. Due to her circumstances, she can be considered a blank slate. This doesn't mean she lacks any sense of being a person. Chio shows a great interest in learning new things, with an innocent naivity that could put her at risk of various things if she's not careful. On the flipside, she also isn't against relying more on her 'instincts' than anything else, giving knee-jerk reactions to if provoked or taunted in any manner.

On a more personal side of things, the things she shows the most interest towards are both new topics, and any knowledge about the world itself. What's going on with it, why things are happening the way they are, and even smaller things such as how certain events came to take place. She'd be quite fine with letting someone go on for hours about any topics that interested them, as long as it was all new things she could learn about.

» Likes: Food, New Experiences, New people

» Dislikes: Chains, Cages, Puzzles

I. The Host's History

» History: A once normal human with a normal life. No powers of note, and certainly not destined for anything greater than living a 'productive' life away form wars or those vying for power. As most stories tend to show, the completely mundane end up whisked away in an event against their will. An event that changes their life forever. She had lived most of her life until her late teens perfectly fine until she was picked up without a care and driven off with, a kidnapping.. literally being whisked away to her new fate.

Blinded, beaten, and essentially kept from ever having a chance of fighting back, the girl had her chances of escaping ruined rather early on by her assailants before even arriving at their destination. A remote location, through some beaten trails and routes that led to a small clearing in mountain trails. Roughly and suddenly, she was shoved out from the vehicle and led on further within, still kept from seeing a thing. A secret panel opened up, a code punched in, all before a set of doors opened up from the side of the mountain before the girl was ushered inside. After walking for what felt like an hour, she was shoved into an elevator and brought down, far down below.

All the way down to the 'lab'. A place filled with experiments that would be better off never seeing the light of day, a majority of them toying with how a spirit can be altered and changed. Most of their studies and experiments came up with little, which led to them getting a bit more desperate for test subjects. Animals and weaker spiritual beings simply didn't provide any interesting results when haphazardly broken down and mixed between one another, so surely they just needed something more sentient, a human. Their 'lab human' was brought in and already being 'trained' to be all the more resiliant to any accidents that may take place. Starved, beaten, but yet always given a little bit of hope that she could figure out a way to leave. Always a set of keys left just barely out of reach, always chances that the guards weren't paying attention... giving that bit of resolve would strengthen her spirit to the point they needed. They didn't need anything out of the ordinary, just someone they could manipulate and try to have survive through tests.

It was all perfect... just the right amount of hope within the girl and enough red herrings in place to make her think that if she could just survive another 'session' of 'training', she could escape. That growth in will in her was what they needed, and exactly the time to strike. A quick movement of guards and scientists yanking her away, throwing her into one of the operation rooms, all followed with the specialists brought in. Those skilled with using tools or special techniques to alter one's spirit. Of course they didn't give a single damn about knocking her out for it, they figured the struggling would only add unto the strenghtened will to try and make sure she survives. The 'subject' was brought in.. what could only be called an abomination. Flesh of different animals sewn together to make an amalgamtion of sorts, an attempt at a Chimera. Parts of it were hollow, others just normal animals. It wasn't the most powerful, hell it was barely stable, but it was perfect for what they wanted to test out. They wanted to see the limits of a soul, and just what they could mix and match.

After hours of intense pain, tears.. and even passing out from the pain, the 'operation' was a success. The now hollowed out shell of the abomination was tossed aside as they focused on the new creation they made. There were many concerns.. constant attention and monitering of her vitals and spiritual stability. It was a mess. Countless souls all mixed and meshed into one being, none of them strong on their own which simply led to a brawl to try and take control of the girl's helpless body, already tearing at the seams of flesh and bone with trying to contain it all.
But one thing prevailed.. that bit of hope to make it out and survive, that little bit of desire to keep existing let the Human's soul rise up and barely take control of it all. Sadly.. she was a little too late. Too much damage had been done to her body. What felt like a brief moment of rising up for her was truly hours of her body being operated on to be kept in one piece. With it all said and done, she lived.

Well, Chio lived. The different souls all mashed into one did more than imbue her spirit with more 'mass', and by proxy.. the ability to rise above the normal human with spiritual prowess. It changed her body immensely. With one soul in control, the constant battle and turmoil that tore it apart stopped, meaning the attempts at stitching her fully back together worked, all coupled with a new appearance. A once normal girl now with bright purple hair.. what appeared to be bat wings coming from her head, even a tail with a scorpion's stinger on the tip. All little bits and pieces of the 'stronger' animals and hollows that remained within the Chimeric Soul.

One thing that couldn't be restored fully was the brain, however. Too much damage was done too it. It didn't impede her ability to perform actions or even learn things.. but it destroyed all of her past memories. Her past life, her family, her friends, all of it was just gone. Forever.

And none of the scientists cared. They were overjoyed with what they managed to accomplish. They managed to -mix- more than just two souls together. They could make a human far stronger without needing to risk their lives getting a powerful soul. They could do so much with this knowledge, for both better and worse. That was the intention, at least. Accidents happen, and with the strong beings that scattered the world.. sometimes you were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Just a week of Chio being locked up and experimented on with this new form before everything shook one day, and most of the facility collapsed in on itself. The reasoning was.. a fight. A large fight, one that took out a majority of the mountain that the lab was hidden within. Most of the scientists perished in it all, but Chio's body managed to survive the initial cave-in. She could awake and see the destroyed walls and ceiling, leaving barely any space to shift about through the halls of the ruined facility. Even the elevator shaft was a mess, resulting in her having to squeeze and spend what felt like days slowly climbing and clawing her way out, all until she saw sunlight.

It hurt her eyes, it's been.. who knows how long, maybe a few months since she's seen sunlight. She can't remember it, but it still gave her a warm feeling in her heart-
and placing a hand on her own chest made her realize there was something there.. a nametag it seemed. Something to identify her with... considering she couldn't remember a name, she figured this must be it. {Chi-0}... Chio. Chimera 0, the prototype.

It was her time to reclaim her life and do as she saw fit with it... and with not a single goal in mind, she made her first aspiration just to learn as much as she could about this 'new' world.

I. The Spirit's Basic Information

» The Spirit's Name: N/A
» The Spirit's Race: N/A
» The Spirit's Gender: N/A
» The Spirit's Age: N/A

» The Spirit's Written Appearance: An Amalgamation of souls, taken from a mixture of animals and weaker Hollow. Its form constantly shifts due to this, ranging anywhere from the classic 'chimera' with the head of a lion, goat, and snake.. to more creative variations involving a fair mix of other animals and roughly 'animal' shapes from the Hollow portion of the being. For a lack of a better term, it'd be similar to viewing it as a 'Legion', a collection of souls in one place with their faces all writhing about a singular mass.

I. The Spirit's Personality

» The Spirit's Personality: A mix of everything 'primal'. Without a proper soul to lead, it fights with itself more often then not. The only times it's at peace is whenever Chio manages to successfully overpower it or begins to grow angry, following the fact most creatures can at least respect and fear their superiors. If it was ever in a situation to interact with another being, it'd mostly show a sense of wonder and awe. A desire to learn more, and perhaps a desire to taste.

The creature itself seems to have mainly traits of wolves, arachnids, and Hollow as the 'primary' factor, with other traits only showing up when the other portions of the soul take control briefly. This means it shows a desire to hunt and stalk prey, coupled with varying ways of viewing others. It can see them as pack mates, or simply another creature... or even an enemy and threat they'd need to eliminate themself.

I. The Spirit's Powers

» Ziamichi Spirit Powers:
{Amalgamation} - The twisted chimeric nature of the spirit gives it a natural resistance to tampering or corruption. Directly attacking or commnicating with the Spirit will result in heavy resistance without any input from Chio. Of course, anyone already stronger than the spirit can ignore it, but it'll still fight with more vigor than a normal spirit of it's level.

I. Ziamichi Powers

» Unique Traits: {Consume} - A primal desire to feast, only amplified by the hunger of many beings. Whenever the host manages to bite and take a chunk out of another living being, they can restore a small portion of their energy. It's typically not enough to matter in a fight other than getting a bit of an adrenaline boost and excitement. It's true usefulness comes out of battle when trying to recover from injuries. Consuming a recently deceased corpse has similar results, but if it begins to rot, it will only get the user sick.
Consuming another character does store a bit of the DNA within, or Spiritual Energy. It's unable to be used, but can influence potential upgrades that may be earned through applications to be based off of where she got it from.

{Aspect of Hollow} - The ability to manifest one's Spirit into the world, allowing one to strike at purely spiritual beings and even use their own energy to coat their body. Without training, it's rather useless.

{Aspect of Beasts} - The ability to call forth beastial instincts within the user. At any time the user can mimic certain qualities of animals, primarily increased awareness and senses, primarily the ability to hear further distances and smell things with weaker traces. Loud sounds and disgusting scents can easily cancel either of this. Without any training, it can at best give a 'berserker' status in terms of how one fights with tooth and nail.

{Aspect of Humanity} - The ability to overcome and survive. This seems to give no benefits to the user, but it may explain the being's tenacity and willingness to survive, even if it has no place in the world.

-Mutations-

{Scorpion's Sting} - A mutation that allows the growth of a stinger as a tail. It's somewhat stronger than Chio's normal limbs, but also allows her to use two types of venom on a target. A paralytic version capable of making movement slightly difficult unto those afflicted, with the effects being lessened the more resiliant a target is, either through Durability or other stats that make sense. Typically, being above Chio means the effects are mostly negated, while being at her level or below her makes it akin to trying to run while exhausted with the body feeling heavy.
The poisonous version is capable of causing damage overtime to the target's body or spirit, if that's all they possess. It follows the same durability rules as above, with the strongest it can be at its current level akin to a horrible stomach virus.
Without taking venoms into account.. it's still sharp enough to be used as a weapon on it's own, with the tail itself being rather thick and hard to dismember.

{Bat's Echo} - A mutation that allows one to navigate with echo-location. With her current level of training, it only allows her to navigate within ten feet around her.

{Starfish's Rejuv} - A mutation that allows one to regrow limbs. The speed of which is.. immensely slow, requiring well over a week for limbs to attach if the user is well taken care of. In Chio's lack of family or friends situation, it's far more likely to take a month. This does increase natural healing during a battle to slightly speed up wounds clotting to prevent death from blood loss.

-Techniques-

{Rupturing Tail} - A strike at the ground that utilizes one's energy to send out sharp spiritual spikes around them. With Chio's tail, she's capable of plunging it into the ground and causing copies of her stinger to rise up a foot from the ground in a roughly ten foot area around her. At its current level, it's does the same damage as being struck by the blade of her stinger with the exception being that it hits everything around her.

{Hollow Blast} - A manifestation of one's Spiritual Energy into an attack. For Chio's case, it allows her to perform a short ranged blast or shockwave of Spiritual Pressure to roughly two feet in front of her. It lacks the destructive ability of any proper Hollow technique, but it's still a blunt force that can knock back or cause blunt damage.

» Forms: With the nature of Chio's Chimeric nature, she could have many 'forms' that focuses on a certain part of her mutations. In terms of raw power ups, it's possible she can develop a single transformation once she's grown enough to reach her full potential. Currently, she's far off from that.

» Drawbacks: Massive Instability. Any excessive usage of her abilities will lead to bodily strain. Growing exhausted begins to damage or rip apart her own flesh, rather than jsut growing weaker with less energy. If she is in a poor mental state, she may be left unable to focus on a fight due to struggling with her inner spirit trying to fight for control once again.

» Control: Roughly a 4. The spirit will listen at most times, but if she shows a lapse in concentration, it will typically begin to fight back against her.
