The Many Faces of Fire [Kasha, Solo]

"So how have you been? You've been comin' home a bit late recently and ya grades are better than they normally would be at the academy,"

She asked with no small amount of smugness, rosy cheeks betraying the fact that she was already dipping into her stash of the hardest sake that she had so early in the morning. Privacy or the fact that she betrayed that she was invading her student's space. Did she care that he might feel irritated that she kept tabs into his life? No, not really. She did not give a single iota of consideration as to how people might feel about her actions because she didn't fucking care.

"How's the girlfriend by the way, she's really hot with no clothes on and she really left me sore after that."

While he was happily reading to himself in the confines of the training area, he had hoped that she might just remain in her stupid sauna all day but it was not to be when she came out already half-wasted and ready to antagonise him. He had learned very early into the peace that trying to ignore her was meaningless since she would just keep poking until she got a reaction and he was very accustomed to her keeping an eye on his affairs for no other reason than boredom it was the last bit that made him stop reading and go still.

Girlfriend? What girlfriend? What was this buffoon of a teacher talking about or making up to try and annoy him this time? It took him a while to try and think, what women did he know that would be capable of leaving her sore or rather, which women would be strong or tenacious enough to attract the bitch's attention.

Murasaki was a captain but for some reason her demeanour didn't particularly seem like something that would make them meet. Also the fact Murasaki was estranged and he didn't see her meeting Kasha in the first place. Shishiyuki? She did seem strong enough, she was the family head and all that but that didn't seem right either. Why would she have seen Shishiyuki naked or have done what Kasha was implying that they did?

Eventually he cracked and opted to break the silence.

"Who?"

"The family head, are you not interested in her like that? She's quite the catch to try and get it into."

Of course she knew that Shishiyuki did not have anything going on with Kasha and was in fact more smitten with this student of her's. Well, maybe. Maybe her own thoughts were skewed by having raised the boy some distance away from her but she could never imagine a student of her's as a sexual nor romantic interest. It made her feel nauseous to imagine her and her student like that.

"And she's quite fun, here I thought you'd be into sissies or something like that with the way you act or just be a straight up faggot."

She snickered to herself at that, it was a genuine thought but it was funny to her tipsy mind hazed by alcohol.

"Shishiyuki?"

He was taken aback when she made the implication, he had never really considered it. He did think she was quite refreshing compared to the rest of the Koizumi but what the woman was saying just sounded strange to even consider. He'd have scoffed at it if didn't just stare at her with traces of malice at the bland insult.

That's all it was though, he wasn't the type to throw a punch over something like that but he also didn't care to contest her in words either with how stubborn she was.

"You're making things up, and for someone that hates Koizumi traditions you're talking an awful lot like one with how many different meanings you're trying to shove into those words."

She just snickered again at his look of anger he shot before laughing in her uncomforting ojou like way. Kasha took another sip from her bottle before staring at him challengingly and saying her next little piece.

"You're lucky I'm so nice, the last student of my master to look at him and raise that much lip didn't make it too far into life."

It wasn't something she brought up while sober but tidbits of her own past did tend to get sprinkled into her conversations with the liberal use of words while intoxicated. It was the only real way that her student had any means to create a paper mache of her own life. It took her more than a little bit to accept her status as his second student and giving up her life she had led up to that point, name included, which gave birth to her identity as the current head of the school and holder of the moniker "flowing flame-like bird".

"Anyway, what's wrong with Shishiyuki? Not your type? Are you scared that she'd be too rough with your delicate little figure? It'd be a shame if she gave you a couple of scars or put some hair on your chest. The boys might not like you as much if she did."

"Don't think that my contempt for you means I'd prefer your predecessors, you're all... not my type."

He almost said that it didn't matter and they were all the same to him but the memory of the last time that he had called her no different than her master and he recalled the killing intent that she gave off towards him that had actually made him recoil and think she would genuinely kill him in that moment. Since then he was not willing to poke whatever wound that was for her to be compared like that.

"Anway... it's just something I don't really consider as something that would work out."

What else was he supposed to say? He didn't have an idea as to what to say to her as a kind of explanation. He just had never really considered this and couldn't add any kind of rationale to such a radically alien possibility. Was it the age? Position? Was it as simple as the fact she showed that she hid parts of herself with kido? He couldn't really put it into words.

"I'm glad I'm not your type, I'd hate to think you had the hots for me, if it gets up for me I'll tear it off and feed it to you."

Threats and violence was the way to deal with situations she didn't like and if he developed that attraction to her then she definitely wouldn't like that but he did do well to save because she was ready to give him the most spiteful look she could if he made that comparison again. At least he was receptive to learning.

"I just don't think you've seen her naked like I have, then maybe you'd start thinking with your dick and want to be the one giving rather than receiving, huh? Huh?"

"Someone like you is no more attractive than an animal. You old hag."

He threw but unlike actual woman she didn't care about her looks or have a sense of vanity. She was far too self-absorbed and prideful to be put off by being called old, ugly or anything like that. It was unfortunate that she had no care for aesthetic or couldn't appreciate it to the same sense as him. Those ugly scars of her's that she was prideful and obssessive of was frustrating enough as it was.

"Why have you seen her naked anyway? You got her into your perverted sauna didn't you? Only you'd have the audacity to take pride in inviting the family head into your depraved little pleasure heaven."
