A Name On the Wind [Ryoichi, Open]

Reclined against a couch, Natasha spent her day off relaxing to the ambient sound of television, watching a M*A*S*H marathon. Growing comfy enough, she almost ended up missing a knock at the door. Well now, she didn't expect company today, but she was rarely one to turn her peers away from the door.

Rising from the couch with a stretch, dressed in her casual house outfit - a long white tee and black boxer shorts - Natasha yawned softly as she motioned toward the door, opening it with a bright, somewhat languid smile as she paused for a moment. There was a familiar face and an unfamiliar face. Anis and the man beside her. Handsome fella, too. She had many questions, but she'd let Anis explain. Hopefully she'd make things less confusing. Hopefully.

"Howdy, Anis. Mind tellin' me who the stranger is beside ya?"

"It's the guy I texted you about!" Anis would exclaim, dramatically gesturing to Ryoichi. "He can see the future as well" she continued, beaming with elation and jubilation at the introduction. "Wait, did I tell you his name? It's Ryoichi, just in case. He's got them starry eyes and everything"

Anis seemed very enthusiastic and proud of herself that she had completed such a task to utter perfection. At least, that's how it looked to her. Others? Probably less perfect.

Ryoichi found himself a bit wide-eyed at the sudden dramatic gestures from his eccentric companion, offering a light, awkward chuckle as he shook his head. He hadn't figured she'd really thought that of him just from a passing comment, but, even if minor, he wanted to nip that in the bud before it got out of hand.

"Hey now, Miss Anis," Ryoichi said, calmly, yet a hint of sternness. "I ain't clairvoyant. Don't think I'd be able to see much of a future in that."

A bad joke met with all the dryness it deserved. With that, his attention turned to the woman at the door. All he knew was her name, the fact that she was associated with his daughter, and a small introduction from Anis. Well, he could certainly agree with her on one front: she was a damn fine-looking woman. He gave her a brief look up-and-down, before offering a small smile.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Miller," He said warmly, extending a hand out. "Like she said, name's Ryoichi. Sorry for the sudden visit, it's...kinda important."
