Mano-a-Manwhore [Vanyel, Isamu]

Vanyel felt a bit of relief at Isamu's reassurance. The guy was a shameless lecher, but, if he was able to do that shit consistently, he was doing something right, and had at least some idea of what he was doing. So, despite him disapproving of his old friend's nature as a manwhore, there was experience there that made him not as vehement about it for this particular scenario.

"Right..." He mumbled, finishing the rest of his own milkshake.

Despite finishing it, though, the man still toyed with the straw, rolling it between his fingers as he thought about what he could do to try and make Violet happy and comfortable, while still maintaining the element of surprise. He put together all the things he knew she liked in his head, trying to think of things that would mean something, or maybe something to make her laugh a little before the main event, like putting an index card attached to his plush that directed her somewhere.

"So, should I get her...flowers, or something?" Vanyel asked. "Make her chocolate? Special meal? Some kind of outfit or other gift?"

Beyond just wanting to have that level of intimacy with Violet, he wanted it to be something special, something that reflected that he loved her, that he was always paying attention, and to show that he would never intentionally hurt her.

Isamu stroked his chin as he nodded along. None of those options stood out as entirely bad to him. They were pretty good for someone who wasn't exactly familiar with this for the first time. Finishing off the rest of his crumbs, he'd lean on the desk with a grin as he shot him a finger.

"Those are pretty good. Again, I don't think there is any wrong way to go about it unless you're comin' off too strong. My recommendation is makin' sure the mood is good, wrap your arms around her, and emphasize how much you love and care for her, how much you desire her in a way she won't feel frightened and feel at home with the man she loves. I could offer some of my suggestions, but nah. What you've got works."

Well, that was reassuring. He wasn't so incompetent with this that he couldn't at least think of things that would at least be decent ideas. So, Vanyel gave a quiet sigh, though his shoulders notably heaved as he did, and he leaned back slightly in his chair, reaching into his pocket to pull his phone out to check the time. Violet wouldn't be home for another several hours still, so, he'd have plenty of time to get everything he wanted to do ready.

Plus, Isamu did say something about the element of surprise, too, so, maybe he wouldn't let her know about it, at least not yet. He kept a mental note of the things that Isamu had been saying, as well as of the things he wanted to do, thinking of how long they'd all take and if they would all be reasonable to complete.

"Honestly, as much as part of me might regret saying this," He started, pausing for a moment, before sighing. "Suggestions and advice wouldn't be unwelcome."

Whatever was told, Vanyel would be certain to write it down, or call him a jackass for anything stupid. He'd done it a thousand times before during their time in the yakuza, but, this time, thankfully, he'd be considerably less violent about it. More than anything, he wanted to make sure he had a wide variety of options to make the night special for the woman he loved.
