Third Times The Charm! [Private: Ikari/Ryo]

After a period of time in which Ryo searched for a little hotel for them to stay at, Ikari had already rolled out one of the two futons upon the floor. She was very much ready to sleep the day’s stress off. However, Ryo didn’t seem ready to relax. The woman had stayed by the door, intent to leave; with a face that read “alone”. Ikari pouted at the woman, not wanting Ryo to leave. She didn’t want the woman to just up and leave, especially because Ryo seems to have a habit of being reckless. However, she understood boundaries enough that Ryo needed some space.

“Alright… Please do come back. But, take the time you need. I’m sure today has been… rough…”

Ikari sighed, appearing guilty from her part in the day’s events. However, before Ryo left Ikari gave the woman a big hug. After Ryo had left, and the door closed behind her, Ikari tossed her hoodie onto a nearby chair, yanked off her shoes and socks, and finally put her pants on the same chair. Without further ado, the Kitsune clambered into bed, covered herself thoroughly, and would fall asleep within moments of her head hitting the pillow. Frankly speaking, if no one interrupted the woman, she would zonk out for the better part of the evening if not all night. In that way, Ikari would wait for Ryo, glad to slumber her exhaustion away.

Ryo came back to the hotel room to find Ikari’s clothes messily piled upon the floor, or nearby chair, and to the Kitsune sleeping soundly. Every so often, a small snore punctuated the silence, but otherwise she appeared most peaceful now compared to before. As it was, Ryo wasn’t the sneakiest around and Ikari’s heightened senses caused her to stir now and then. Perhaps the most tense moment was when Ikari said Ryo’s name before she resumed her sleeping.

However, Ryo was able to slip into bed without her very late presence being noticed. Of course, Ikari would eventually see the woman’s injured hand in the morning, and heal it up. But, she wouldn’t expend all her energy on the task. Frankly speaking, Ryo would be able to sleep soundly near the Kitsune, her soft breathing and purrs a gentle rhythm to fall asleep next to. In the morning, Ryo may hear less about the Kitsune’s worries and more about how well the fox woman had slept; and many more thanks for what Ryo had done for the woman.

In the morning, Ryo would find her hand healed, and Ikari still sleeping next to her. Perhaps the woman woke up at some point during the night and noticed the woman’s injury. Regardless, Ikari would give no sign of it, nor would she pester the woman about her habits. She should remember Ryo was an adult, and should be able to take care of herself. That didn’t mean, however, that Ikari wouldn’t be worried for the woman.
