Set Paths [Igen, Rangiku]
Tue Nov 19, 2024 4:35 pm
Murasaki's return was ... a welcome surprise to say the least. And well, yea. the Hisoudan pretty much hit all of his checkboxes. With all of the ... stuff going on in soul society. Between the Daimei and the Jietei competing for people to have join their causes, he honestly hadn't felt ... drawn to it. He had busied himself at first with helping heal people, and then shifting his attention towards trying to reach out. He had training to pursue, and as much as he might have liked to, he wasn't exactly cut out to help Nao with clearing things up. And ... he didn't really know how to help Kyo outside of visiting him now and then. But even then, that nagging feeling was in the back of his mind. About what was going on on earth.
And now? Well this was... just about the perfect avenue to keep his eye on what counted: the balance. Both other organizations were relying on the senkaimon being rebuilt. But that wasn't good enough. They needed to be on earth NOW, and if there was another attack and the senkaimon was destroyed again, then that just would put them right back here. A force on earth just made sense.
But ....that did mean leaving soul society behind.
And so he found himself looking around. He'd already spoken to a few other people. Kyo. Kasha. The close friends that filled in where he lacked family. Naturally. He'd said his goodbyes to the sawachika family. And now, there was still someone else he needed to speak to. Making his way through the rukongai, he made his way towards that familiar spiritual pressure, turning a corner and perking up as he spotted what looked like that familiar head of hair.
"Rangiku!" He called out, raising a hand to draw her attention as he approached.

Rangiku felt the spiritual pressure as well. Just like her normal day to day for now she was feeling conflicted about what she should do. Should she remain independent and work with Momo?Perhaps that would work better, or should she side with Kommomura? She wasn't entirely.sure just yet but those thoughts vanished when she saw Igen approaching her. Speaking out towards the feminine man.
"Whats up, Igen?"
Wondering what his plans were really going to be? She wondered if he was goingnto stay around the soul society or not. There were still several people that need to be healed so no doubt that his services would do well.

Igen smiled as he received the casual greeting and he promptly made his way over and felt himself relaxing, well, sortof, his heart did start racing a little as he saw the woman, but he kept that in check. That same familiar rush that overwhelmed him before, but this time he had to temper it, push it aside for the sake of .. well he needed to keep his head on straight. "Hey, did you hear? Whew, just when we thought that things were going to quiet down." He chuckled sheepishly, no doubt Rangiku.... might know? it was hard to tell with so much going on. But all the same, he took a moment to let her speak before clearing his throat.
"Murasaki returned. She survived. And she's going to be going to the world of the living to continue maintaining the balance." He explained, and watched her. After all, they had spoken a bit about this, about what he felt was important, no doubt she might begin to realize what it is he intended to say. "I plan on heading with her to Earth." He explained with a sheepish smile. "Have you figured out what it is you want to do?" HE already knew she was ... probably going to stay in the soul society. After all, she had Momo and Toki. but all the same, he was hardly going to pretend he'd knew everything about her, and so there was some genuine curiosity in his voice. He had no doubt she'd been reached out to about all this.

Rangiku shook her head. She wasn't entirely sure what she wants to do yet, but she thinks she's just going to stay with Momo for the time being. Going to earth probably isn't the best plan for her at the moment. As fun as it could be, she had too many people in the Soul Society that she cares about.
"I think I'm going to stay here and help Momo out. I may come to earth eventually, but for now I think my place is here. Helping people pick up what remains."
She spoke as she thought about it. She just didn't have it in her just to leave the soul society how it is. She's spent so long here that it would feel strange to just leave. Shed also have to find a way to go back and forth if she wanted to do that. Right now it wasn't the easiest thing in the world to do.
"I might eventually find my way to earth. I just don't see myself joining up with either group that's forming here. Not in an official way anyway."
