No Concessions [Noharu, Unohana]
Fri Nov 29, 2024 4:29 pm
Two weeks. That's how long it had taken to push herself back. Slowly, day by day, carefully making sure that she didn't overexert herself. Making sure that she didn't ruin the chance that she'd been given. Perhaps she'd taken more time than was necessary, maybe it was still a rush. Not exactly like her doctor's orders had given her a timeframe. Her body had healed surprisingly well. She probably had the General to thank for that. She still wasn't absolutely where she once was, but it was enough for what she had in mind, and boy had she had quite a lot on her mind.
The offer from Retsu had been in her head for quite a bit now, and having thought it over, as well as the opportunities she'd had in the past, she had at the very least, a firm idea of what it is she wanted. And so she'd sent ahead to get an audience with the woman. It wasn't an immediate one, not a surprise given how damn busy they probably were. But all the same, she made her way into the Once Kenpachi's office. But there'd be no uneven or adjusted gait. Where once her stump from her left arm was missing, there now was an arm. One tinted a bright red, like an Oni of old. And just like her scars, there was no hint of wanting to hide it.
She introduced herself at the door, and once she heard the woman's voice beckon her, she'd open the door and step into the woman's office.
"Evenin General, hope you've had a good day, or at least an amusing shitty one."

UNOHANA RETSU | BLOODLETTER
Retsu took but a moment longer to notice Noharu than usual. General. It was still an odd thing to hear herself be called. "Captain." "Director." "Ma'am." "Lady." Those were what she was used to being called. She still operated out of the Shin'o Seiyakuin's former main building. She would eventually cede this office to the head of her Relief Corps—her version of the 4th Division when she was its Captain. But until such time (and until an appropriate office had been constructed for her), this is where she'd be.
The guest today was someone Retsu had expected. Maybe not today specifically, but with how things were progressing, it would have only been a matter of time before she was approached again. "You may enter." Retsu closed the document she was writing and steepled her hands on the desk in front of her. It was actually amusingly hard to see her over the carefully-stacked binders that dominated her desk.
Retsu glanced at Noharu's gait as she entered—she was walking with little difficulty. There didn't appear to be a hitch in her breathing. And most of all... "I can see your arm has been replaced successfully. Though I might would recommend some sunscreen. It seems a tad red." Retsu couldn't help but crack a small smile at her own joke before returning to her more aloof expression. "How are you faring?"

Noharu raised a brow slightly at the 'work' piled up on the desk. Tch. So she hadn't gotten enough officers to get this workload spread out? That sucked, still she didn't put too much thought to it. Though she DID perk up and grin a little as Unohana made that little wise crack. Flexing the fingers, the tips of which briefly came undone before rebinding into claws, the briefest flurry of red thread before it became solid again. "Well you know, Happens when it sees a lot of uh....action." She only barely held in an egregious comment. Right, not here to mentally scar the woman.
"Fantastic. I'd go so far as to say amazin. When ya wind up fucked up nine ways, feeling any kinda normal is damn good. And thanks to you, I feel real damn good." She noted with a wider smirk as she rolled her shoulder and took a moment to consider. "Which is why I put thought into that offer you made me." She noted calmly, letting that hand rest on her hip as her expression turned focused. "You mentioned before, that talkin to people was one of the reasons you wanted me to work under you. I admit, I'm not really much of a healer, and from what I understand, the other division under you is the combat division, right?" She asked calmly. After all, Unohana HAD invited her to work underneath her. "Now, I was waking up from surgery at the time. So if you don't mind. Could you reiterate on what exactly it was you were offering?"
