[Immediate Music - Darkness on the Edge of Power]
If you value you life, heed this warning; beware the fury of a calm man.

[R E I G N S]
That wasn’t the scary part; Kaiedo felt the black smoke coursing in. He immediately began to retreat, trying to gain some distance in vain; already the pain had started, and Kaiedo’s calm composure broke for a moment, a look of pain and disbelief twisting his features from his usual mask as the pain shook his body. Reflexively his left hand left Gekimetsu, stopping just above his cheek as a soft green glow began to appear.
"In response to your question... I seek your aid. However... I need to test your limits until you are worthy within my ranks."
Well, he had gotten the response to his question; with it came Hakai’s renewed offensive. While Kaiedo had hoped that the man would take the chance to gloat or cackle over his hit, it was foolish. He hadn’t been given a chance to heal any of the damage as the punch continued through, and the left arm rushed upwards, the blade clipping Kaiedo’s chin as he leaned back in his attempt to move back. There was a large intake of power at the same time, and a cerulean glow. The feel could only be one thing, and as Hakai opened his mouth the suspicion was confirmed. Kaiedo brought Gekimetsu up with his right hand as the cero connected, clashing against the blade as Kaiedo allowed himself to be pushed back and away from Hakai.
”Tch,” he muttered; thus far, he had been the one to up the stakes every time, had been the one forced to a new tier of power before the other. It didn’t matter though. He would do that in this case. Hakai wanted to test him for something, but he was doing so with deadly force. He was not interested in perceived power. He wanted to feel power; so he’d get his wish. Kaiedo’s left hand flexed as his face took on a more normal look, large hole aside, and pitch-colored energy flowed into his hand. With a motion, his face was obscured by the effigy of a demon, large curved horns sweeping back as crimson eyes glared out from the Hollow Mask.
And Kaiedo’s power was revealed to this desolate world; it bore down upon the area with a crushing fervor he had not displayed in possibly hundreds of years. His counter-offensive had only just begun though as he brought his left hand back to Gekimetsu’s hilt; during these few moments it had already drained a good fourth of the Cero’s power, the crimson aura intensifying around the large blade. His right hand came away as energy began to form there, and he completed the swing with Gekimetsu, unleashing another wave of crimson energy at Hakai as he sliced the cero in two, absorbing more of the energy even as the cero split, using it to unleash a second crimson blade at the vizard.
This was a distraction as he flash stepped above Hakai’s position immediately after he had either blocked or dodged the twin energy blade. A red pillar sat in his hand, as before Hakai had a moment to recover from the first two blades, Kaiedo had thrown the pillar, launching it with ample force. However, midflight between Kaiedo and Hakai, the pillar suddenly multiplied, becoming hundreds of crimson pillars streaking through the sky towards the enemy Vizard.
”Hollow Art #63; Hyapporankan,” Kaiedo called after, an after incantation to strengthen the attack and allow the multiplication.
Hollow Arts was a style of Kidou that Kaiedo had invented soon after becoming a vizard, effectively dissecting Kidou and the Hollow techniques and learning to imbue different kidous or ceros with the properties of the other. In this case, Kaieod had turned the Hyapporankan, a Bakudo, into an offensive attack by altering the energy make-up of the pillars with that of hollow energy, and making them ceros. These wouldn’t simply blow up on contact though; instead, they would serve their initial function of pinning the target to the ground, or try to at least. They would need a catalyst to explode. Think of them like a chain explosion.
Which was exactly what the cero charging at the end of Kaiedo’s extended fingers was meant to do. However, this was no normal cero; a drop of blood from his earlier damaged cheek heralded the power about to be unleashed.
”Gran Rey Cero,” he called, and an indigo explosion outlined in blood crashed down through the unending night of Hueco Mundo. When it struck the ground, if it did, it would trigger the crimson pillars on the ground, and detonate all of them with tremendous effect. Each pillar had roughly the strength of roughly a twentieth of Kaiedo’s normal cero in his Masked form, but with hundreds of them there was easily the equivalent of ten ceros exploding over a hundred or so meter area, in addition to the Gran Rey Cero.
Kaiedo was not going to let this sit, however. Sonido carried him straight to the ground, presumably far from where Hakai had landed. He held out his hand.
”Tenran,” he uttered, and a great gust of wind roared up, blowing the smoke and debris away from the area. He had rushed blindly before, and had been rewarded with an agonizing experience. He now had several options, and they once again depends on Hakai. If the man was standing still, he would rush in with increased speed and strength, and bring Gekimetsu crashing in from the right to try and cut Hakai; he assumed that such a straight forward assault would fail. As the attack was blocked, he would sweep low with a kick, aiming to take out Hakai’s base before launching a bala straight into the man’s stomach.
If Hakai had managed to evade the majority of the previous assault, Kaiedo would conserve his own energy reserves, and wait for Hakai to come at him before absorbing the sand directly under the man to weaken his base that way before lashing out with a kick to try and push him away, and launch another crimson way at near point-blank range, amplified by his mask and the energy it had absorbed from breaking down the sand. Hakai was a force to be reckoned with at close range, that much had been shown to be true, and at Hakuda he outclassed Kaiedo. However, in Zanjutsu Kaiedo was a deadly foe, and combined with the way his energy attacks complimented his swings it was a potent combination not to be underestimated at this kind of range.
There was the possibility that Hakai would resort to another release of his own; either his mask or Bankai. If that was the case, Kaiedo would wait for the man to release and launch his next attack. Should it prove to be an energy attack Kaiedo would break down part of it before Sonidoing to the left, storing the energy to either use in melee with another swing of Gekimetsu or to unleash at range if Hakai stayed at such. He had discovered little of the uses of the black smoke the man now surrounded himself in, and so he had to be exceedingly careful with what he did. He had already been shown the kind of pain that the smoke could cause if they entered his body, and he was not in a hurry to relive the experience. Hakai was dangerous, far more so than he had anticipated earlier. He would not make that mistake again though.
All that remained was to see the result.

Re: Masquerade
S A N || N I N || N O || D R A G O N S L A Y E R
Rage of Emotion: Inactive
Current emotion: Hyped
Condition: Few injuries
Hakai was in no way joking around. The reaction was that splattered over Hakai's face was as serious as one could get. He kept that attitude, showing no emotion, he wouldn't allow himself to show fear or any pain to a man like Kaiedo, especially if Hakai was to attempt to bring Kaiedo into his ranks. There was no doubt he was powerful, immense attacks came at Hakai which even he could barely with stand at times. It was confirmed, however, that he was based around energy. It came as a kind of surprise to see Hakai's sudden blow to the cheek rip it open, blood coursing and his smoke seeping into the wound acting as a agony, tearing at the inside of Kaiedo for a moment. One would think of this as poison, but it is now. Hakai's smoke is based around tearing, if it comes into contact with your skin it will rip away at the skin until it is completely gone or it is shrugged off somehow. If Kaiedo didn't take any moment seriously for one split second... it could end bad for him. Hakai's eyes scanned over at Kaiedo, scanning the position he was in and let a small smirk of happiness as the cero managed to push him back a few feet. The clash of cero and pure blade send sparks flying everywhere until the cero was completely gone.
Hakai took a few breathes and regained a solid stance, placing his right hand in front of the left hand, the left hand drawn closer to his body. Hakai wanted to observe Kaiedo some more, if he continued to bring the stakes higher and higher each time, it wouldn't be a good opportunity to do that at all. While Hakai regained a proper stance, Kaiedo's face seemed to urge in pain for a moment, his face going into a his normal emotionless self a few seconds later. This man... it was impressive to say the least. Despite the pain he must have been feeling he still managed to overcome his own emotion and displayed his general attitude. It was remarkable to say the least. Hakai tensed his body for a moment as he saw Kaiedo lift up his hand, a black ball of reiatsu appearing in his hand as he did so. Instantly, Hakai knew what he was coming up against... the vizards mask would finally be shown. The demonic mask covered his entire face, horns like a demon appearing from it. It looked insane, almost the complete opposite of the personality he portrayed. Hakai frowned, the heavy pressure in reiatsu continued to build as the man had his mask on.
Hakai tensed his body further, awaiting any punishment that Kaiedo and his zanpakuto would unleash upon him this time. As the cero continued to be absorbed into his sword, his power continuing to rise in the area... it was slamming down upon Hakai like a ton of bricks, it was something he could withstand though. As the first energy wave shot out by the vizard came, Hakai's both arms turned into razor sharp swords, which were about 2 meters long on each arm. As the first wave got closer and closer, when it became in reach Hakai swung both arms at insane speeds, continuing to slice away at the beam of energy, the speed of his arms being 400km/h each. At this speed, it sliced the wave of crimson energy into millions of pieces, only tiny bits of the wave still making impact with Hakai. As this happened, Hakai's eyes widened as the second one came flying through at amazing speeds, slamming Hakai right through the stomach. Blood began to pour from Hakai's stomach, and leaking from the side of his mouth. A cringing look covering his face as a explosion caused upon impact. Hakai had but no time to react to the second wave. A clean slice horizontally across The Destroyers stomach was visible, blood soon stopping from spilling for a while. His reaction stayed normal, it hurt like a bitch but Hakai kept his eyes focused on Kaiedo. It was time to start the counter attack, he wouldn't let the other vizard to set the pace any further!
As the explosion cleared, Hakai soon found Kaiedo to be gone from his original position. Without hesitation, he felt the large increase in spiritual pressure above him, he turned and looked up hearing Kaiedo say the words he didn't want to hear... Kido. However, it was different to normal kido... HOLLOW ARTS?! This would have to be treated carefully from now on, after finding out the pure intention of Kaiedo.
"Nani!? Hollow arts?! Heh, BRING IT ON!"
Hakai wasn't surprised really, due to Kaiedo being so based around energy consumption and just energy in general he would suspect he had conjured up something like this. A smart man he was... As the massive explosion of rods came flying upon Hakai, he smirked as he placed his hands together, automatiacally they expanded into a large shield which covered most of his body, bar his legs. The massive energy poles shot down, quite a few slamming into the metal shield and sticking in it. Without a moments notice, pain flew up from Hakai's leg and ached up to his thigh. Leaving his leg exposed from the shield, a single rod of energy managed to impale through Hakai's leg; a yelp of pain came from Hakai as it entered. The explosive behaviour of the hollow arts exploded as the gran rey cero was shot out, a few single spans of the bakudo still managed to maintain their spear form. Pain was shivering in his leg as the shield quickly formed back into his normal hands. Tensing his leg and sending a wave of his reiatsu into it, the rod smashed into many pieces. Hakai looked at his leg for a brief second, a hole gaping in it, blood leaking out all over the floor. There was no way Hakai would be taking any more punishment that easily from Kaiedo now, he was dead serious. He knew fighting Kaiedo in such a place was dangerous... he didn't expect this. Blood was leaking from his hands as the impact of all the explosion, heavy breathing and bruises began to appear upon his body.
In a attempt to shut out the pain, Hakai stood up and used a simple Sonido to move 20 meters away from his original position. He was already tired, the assault from Kaiedo had already taken it out of him. There was no way he was going to hold back now, though. Blood was leaking from his chest and leg... it was all around Hakai. He had recieved worse though, the cut across the stomach? Tch, that was barely anything. It was only the piercing and explosions around and on the leg that made the big impact. As the words 'Tenran' hit Hakai's ears, Hakai brought up his hand to his face. A large black ball appeared in his hands, he brought it horizontally across his face, revealing a mask that was white, blue and black tinted across in patterns. Horn like bones were coming from the sides of the mouth as well as four horn type things appearing at the top of the mask. Each breathe Hakai took rattled as the person with the vizards voice typically does. Once the entire sand and explosive mist had disappeared, it revealed this mask covering Hakai.
Not wasting any time, Hakai pushed himself backwards, flying himself backwards around 20 meters as Kaiedo appeared to sonido across to his position as well. Hakai took a still structure and stood, making his legs limp but able to move if he had to quickly. Hakai was the more proficient one in Hakuda, sure, but if Kaiedo got to close... it would be bad for him. Just because he got in these hits, he shouldn't get up on his high horse. As Kaiedo got himself close to Hakai, the sword came down from above. Did he seriously think such a cheap trick would work? No way in the world. It was obviously a faint, Hakai wasn't that stupid to not see it coming. His arm would turn into a metal rod, raising it above his head and blocking the strike with relative ease. As the low kick came towards his legs, it swept his legs out from underneath him, his body would spin to it's side. Following this, before the bala could be slammed into his stomach, he used his hand as a spring like structure, putting his body weight onto his arm for a split second and launched himself up: Making him slide back a good 10 meters before stopping.
There was no way such an assault would go unavenged... he needed to set the pace. His mask still covering his face, Hakai used sonido to launch himself at Kaiedo. The sonido would be near twice the speed of his normal one due to the influence of his mask. He would use this to appear 20 meters to the right of Kaiedo, up in the air, forcing reiatsu into his feet allowing him to use a simple air walk. Pointing his palm at the area that Kaiedo was in, a massive explosion of his black smog would fill up a 300 meter area around the opposing vizard. This smog would act as it always does, act like acid in a sense and tear away at his skin unless it is stopped; filling up such a large area could be deadly though. It would be difficult to escape. It could also attempt to blind Kaiedo in a sense. Following this, Hakai would then use another shunpo and appear amongst the smoke, which was dark and some what hid his presence within it. Coming at Kaiedo from the right, the destroyer would launch a powerful attack which consisted of 30 hard, quick punches to his side, ribs and the side of his right cheek. These punches would happen at 400 miles per hour and would have an exseccive amount of force behind each punch. As he did this, however, Hakai would tap into the ability which allowed him to turn his body into metal for around two seconds. Due to his body becoming entirely metal for the duration of these punches, it would without a doubt cause MASSIVE amounts of damage on Kaiedo if it managed to hit. Not only this, but he on the last punch, a blue glow would appear around two of his fingers, saying the words of a kido rather loudly.
"Hadō 33 "Soukatsui"
While he was not that proficient in kido or hollow arts, but he still had a dangerous touch with it. Due to the close range they were both at, if the blast of blue energy managed to make contact with Kaiedo it would without a doubt cause amazing damage. If the opposing vizard was slammed backwards by the hit, he would continue to follow through with the motion of his attacks and run, slamming a powerful uppercut into Kaiedo's chin in a hopeful way of dealing another blow.
However, if the attack was not successful and didn't blow him back, Hakai would shunpo behind Kaiedo, his body low already aiming to sweep out his legs. However, this wouldn't be normal. Using the speed from a shunpo, his legs would go at the same pace of a shunpo while attempting to swipe. Basically, his legs would be invisible as the swipe came in. Due to the speed and pure strength of Hakai in shikai state; this could easily shatter the bones in his legs and cause him to either get extreme pain in that area or stumble over if taken at full force. Even if it wasn't successful, Hakai would attempt to shunpo again landing on the outside of the smoke that filled up the 300 meters. He was hurting, without a doubt. He cringed as he shunpoed out; his body aching and the blood on his leg opening up again after the leg swipe. He had no idea this man... would have so much fight in him. He may even be pushed to the next level of power... only time would tell that story.

Re: Masquerade
[ K | A | I | E | D | O ]It was impressive to say the least, Hakai’s defenses. He took a Geki straight to the gut and after a little bleeding managed to stop it and go right back on the defensive. The same was true when he countered the modified Kidō, taking only minimal damage in comparison to what the attack had the potential to do. As Kaiedo released the wind Kidō to blow away the smoke and dust he felt a new push of energy, alien and yet familiar. He guessed, and was proven correct in short order as Hakai was revealed, his hollow mask having been drawn. Again Hakai had stepped up to match him as he had driven the stakes up, but it was once again him raising the stakes. He rushed in and brought the blade down, and as expected Hakai raised an arm and blocked it. The sweeping kick managed to catch him, but Hakai used his arm as a pivot and avoided the bala outright. Kaiedo knew that any moment Hakai’s counter offensive would begin, so he broke down some of the nearby sand, and prepared.

He was not disappointed; Hakai launched forward, lost to Kaiedo’s eyes for a brief moment as the crack of sonido ripped the air. He appeared again to the right, and as Kaiedo turned to face his opponent Hakai unleashed another blast of the strange black smog, obscuring the vizard from view. Beyond that problem though, there was the more immediate problem of the smog itself; Kaiedo had already learned just what exactly that smoke could do upon contact, though he was sure there were more applications and uses yet hidden. Breaking it down had proven a fruitless endeavor, and it is properties were too chaotic to make a second attempt mid combat a smart decision. Hakai would use this as cover to launch an attack; that much he could figure out. However, there was no telling where the attack would come from, and it was possible that he might dodge straight into the oncoming attack. He made his decision.
”Tenran.”
Upon the incantation’s name the wind exploded once more; this time it was aimed straight down, sending wind and sand and smoke alike fleeing from its rage as Kaiedo cleared an area roughly 40 meters in diameter before the smoke had gotten to him to begin the damage. This meant that when Hakai was there, at his left, he saw it coming. He let instinct take over.
”Enkousen,” he said, his voice calm but combined with the distinct rattle of the hollow’s voice. Between himself and Hakai a large barrier appeared. Hakai’s first strike cracked the barrier, but it gave Kaiedo enough time to readjust. The second strike broke clean through the barrier, which began to dissipate as the rest of Hakai’s blows slammed through; Kaiedo had not fully readjusted yet, and the third and fourth strikes found purchase in his left shoulder and sternum. He brought Gekimetsu to bear, point down, and used the large blade as a partial shield, knocking away several of the blows with only minor movements from the blade. Of the 30, 12 found solid purchase, and another 3 had grazing blows. Bones cracked under the strain, more than a few broke; he immediately began to invest some of his personal spiritual energy into regeneration.
He couldn’t compete with an enemy like Hakai with a broken body, and he would need a few moments to fully allow the majority of the damage to heal. Hakai was not done though; the blue light did not go amiss, and as Hakai called out the Kidō’s name, Kaiedo made his plan. He jumped back, gaining minimal distance before the blast tore forth. In appearance, the blast had been a success as Kaiedo flew away from The Destroyer, smoke coming off his body. He neared the wall of smoke that had been pushed away by the earlier Kidō when he managed to flip, hitting the ground and sliding back hunched over with his Zanpaku-tou securely in his grasp. Hakai charged forward, eager to keep control of the pace and land another blow. It was now time to see if Kaiedo’s little ploy would work.
When Hakai had unleashed the Kidō, Kaiedo had set Gekimetsu to work devouring the energy as it flew. He had then use Gekimetsu itself to block the Kidō with the point, forcing it to detonate early. Because he had already been in the air, the concussive wave had forced him back while Gekimetsu had absorbed a little more energy. Kaiedo was hoping that Hakai would think him weakened and rush in to capitalize on the opportunity. As Hakai closed the distance for the uppercut, Gekimetsu broke down the ground immediately before his feet. The purpose of this was to throw the Destroyer off balance and flip the tables to grant Kaieod a momentary advantage. He slice with Gekimetsu, going from lower right to upper left on Hakai, the red aura blazing as though to fire another Geki at point blank range.
As he did this though, he further broke down the ground below Hakai, aiming to further upset his balance or at the very least force the man to focus on creating a stable platform for a moment while avoiding the strike. There was no Geki blast accompanying this attack though; instead, there was a finger pointed at Hakai from Kaiedo’s right hand, the left having been used to swing the sword.
”Hyouga Seiran.”
For a moment Kaiedo’s hand glowed a brilliant blue, around him the air became freezing, then the Kidō was unleashed as a huge wash of ice and power rushed out to meet Hakai at near point blank range. The force of the blast would possibly be enough to push the vizard back, but the aim was the freeze him solid. The Kidō would not hold him for long, but it didn’t need too on its own.
Kaiedo launched himself into the air; he didn’t use Gekimetsu to launch an attack there because he would need that stored energy after his next attack, because he was about to use a great deal of his own energy between the first Kidō and the ones to come.
”Bakudo #61, Rikujōkōrō,” he called as he rose, the six rods of light shooting forth to attempt to hold Hakai further in place for what was to come. Kaiedo created a platform in mid air, took aim by placing his hand palm out towards Hakai, and began the chant.
”Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness.” Immense power began to gather around Kaiedo.
” Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders.” Ten pink energy spears appeared surrounding him in the air as he spoke, the hollow rattle adding a strange quality to the chant.
” Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired.” The spears glowed brighter, the already dark sky seemed to turn an even deeper shadow of obsidian and the moon seemed to have disappeared, or fled in fear.
”Hadō #91, Senjū Kōten Taihō.”
Whether this was more than Hakai had bargained for or not, Kaiedo did not care. The 10 spears launched forward, and collided on the place where Hakai was supposedly frozen and anchored in place. The resulting explosion scoured the ground of anything that had been there, crystalline trees and rocks reduced to nothingness. At the epicenter of this explosion a crater was formed and expanded to roughly a quarter mile across, a testament to the destructive power of the Kidō. The world of Hueco Mundo glowed a bright pink color for once, as though a non-existent sun was on the rise. It was such a pretty color to hide such overwhelming destructive power, as the land below was stripped away along with Hakai’s fog presumably. Kaiedo was feeling the effects of using such Kidō back to back. Amplified by the properties of the mask, the Kidō was certainly a destructive force beyond anything Kaiedo had delivered up until now. However, it took a great deal of energy to use. Kaiedo was not one to go around using this level of Kidō all the time either; in fact this was the first time he had been forced to use such a powerful Kidō in open combat. He wasn’t drained completely, but if he was forced to use a second Kidō near that strength he would be running into dangerous territory. For now, he would stick to Gekimetsu’s attacks and conserve his own energy.
He was feeling the effects of Hakai’s beatdown from only a little earlier as well. Having used so much energy, he had stopped the regeneration to a degree. It would take longer for all of his bones to mend, but he could keep fighting for now. He now waited; there was no need to follow up his attack with another until he knew what kind of condition his opponent was in. Despite the severity of the attack, Kaiedo was not aiming to kill Hakai, though such an outcome was not off the table at this point with the rate they were going at it. Hakai was a resilient creature though, and Kaiedo knew that the vizard would not be dead yet from the attack. Heavily damage he hoped. Gekimetsu began to absorb more energy, reaching roughly 80% of its maximum for the time being as Kaiedo waited to see Hakai’s response to the force just leveled against him.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Re: Masquerade
___________________________________________________
Kaiedo was peaking with energy, his dangerous assaults getting more ferocious by the second. The energy located in Heuco was constantly being sucked from the spiritually rich earth and being used to make his attacks enhanced with extra strength while it barely zapped his strength in the slightest. He was an interesting man, just looking at him, a stoic yet dangerous man indeed. Hakai smirked, his plan was coming together. Kaiedo had taken the bate of trying to fight Hakai in a full on assault; this was Hakai's idea after all. To test his limits, his peaking areas of strength and whether or not this man was capable of being drawn into the ranks of the newly established Monsuta. Hakai still held the solid smirk as he observed Kaiedo and let his attacks fly all ways towards Kaiedo. The smirk was covered by his mask; ripples of black spiritual energy flying off and around the mask, showing the sheer pressure and power it possessed. The crashing of attacks filled his ears, each time an attack was made you could feel the insane force which followed it.
The crash of the Soukatsui hitting Kaiedo's Zanpakutō exploded, the pure pressure of the attack managing to force Kaiedo from his position. The smoke that Hakai had pushed outwards was dangerous, it seemed Kaiedo had already discovered what the smoke was capable of doing and wasn't afraid to use it in a variety of attacks. The smoke was dark, constricting vision and tightening the noose around injuries. This work as a cover quite well, Hakai crashing into the smoke and allowing himself to move closer to Kaiedo in this way. As doing so, many thoughts rushed through his mind. The possibility of a counter attack coming to the smoke, something that would prove his smog to be a waste. As this thought whipped around in his head, it was proven true. The swift sound of a Kidō chant being said echoed the area, the pure sound of the word being enough to realise what the enemy vizard was aiming to do. The smoke collided with the sand and the smoke in the area, sending it across the battlefield in a fierce rage.
Hakai had managed to maintain a close distance to Kaiedo, at this range he would definitely become dangerous. Hakai took deep breathes, then suddenly striking the enkosen shield, the shield taking the entire impact before he broke through with the second punch. This was his chance, Kaiedo had an opening and he was going to take it no matter what. As the next punches landed on him, his head began to spin, all of Kaiedo's earlier assaults suddenly making him feel dizzy and near collapse. As his fists hit Gekimetsu, Hakai grunted, his fists sliding off his blade and getting cut up in the process. He could feel a large amount of his rapid succession punches laying waste to Kaiedo's body, probably breaking bones in the process. The blue energy that was a powerful Kidō, soukatsui. The Destroyers plan was going fulfilling so far, the Kidō, the little tricks being pulled; everything.
The soukatsui was sent amiss, however. The tip of the vizards sword being used to stop majority of the explosion from reaching Kaiedo. Hakai constantly remained at a close distance, figuring Kaiedo would not be able to work his crazy Kidō when it came to this type of range. As the uppercut came flying in, Hakai was sent on the defensive suddenly, losing his balance quickly as the sand was being absorbed from under his feet. He was knocked off, the uppercut slinging to the right, forcing Hakai to stumble forward the slightest bit. From the corner of his eye, Hakai noticed the blade and grunted once again, the mask that was on his face now fading away and revealing his blood covered and smirking face. The blade made contact with Hakai, slicing right up his side, across his stomach just barely reaching his head. However, this slice wouldn't be allowed so easily. A sudden burst of metal would cover the region of the slice, the Zanpakutō sending sparks as it slid up across his stomach, still piercing through the metal however. The metal that covered his stomach for a moment quickly faded away, revealing a light cut up across his chest; tiny bits of blood leaking off the cut.
Kaiedo's aim of completely knocking off his balance worked, the more sand that absorbed from below his feet; the more unbalanced he became. The hand of the vizard extended towards Hakai, pointing at him as he said the words of a re-known destructive Kidō. The Hyouga Seiran was release at the close range, the wave of ice launching at extreme speeds towards Hakai. Just before it managed to make contact with Hakai, the a large build up of smoke would appear in front of him as he breathed out a large chunk of smoke to defend himself. The smoke covered the entire front of his body, taking some of the damage of the Kidō and eating away at the attack as it came closer. The Kidō rammed it's way through the smoke and pummelled into Hakai with extreme force. It pushed him back a fair amount; however once he recovered his balance in mid air both of his arms were turned into massive blades that shone off the moonlight that engulfed Heuco Mundo. He began to scream as he attempted to push forward, his arms moving at rapid speeds constantly slicing the ice away. As the ice assault came to a halt he took deep breathes wiping the sweat and blood from his fore head away. He wasn't nearly done, no way. This was just about to get fun.
He stood his ground, looking higher above him, spotting Kaiedo speaking the words of yet another Kidō. A bakudo was being said, a very powerful one at that. Hakai smirked, this man loved to use his Kidō so much. It was ridiculous. As the bakudo smashed around his waste he jerked around, his arms being pinned to his side and squirming as he was trapped in six rods of light. Hakai let out a short burst of laughter as Kaiedo began the incarnation of a high level Kidō, one of great power. A large amount of black reiatsu and smoke filled the area. The power radiating enough to explode the bakudo around his waste into nothing but spiritual energy. A few short words escaped from Hakai's mouth as the smoke and reiatsu rose from the ground and his body. Infamous words that nobody had ever heard before.
"... Ban-"
A deep breathe was taken in and let out in a sort of mocking and laughing tone.
"-kai."
The intense black reiatsu exploded, covering an area of 300m in intense power that could be felt from kilometres away. Hakai slowly breathed as his body became filled with immense power. From within the black reiatsu, his body becoming engulfed in complete steel and his red eyes becoming a a more orange colour now. The smoke and reiatsu quickly faded away from site, the new form of Hakai now being revealed to Kaiedo and anyone else who was watching.
"Rokku no satsugai kinzoku"
The enchantment was just about finished, Kaiedo now begining to say the final words to launch the Kidō. The ten spears came rushing in, Hakai was ready for the pure assault that was to come and the ferocity of the attack. The attack came flying inwards, all ten spears searching for Hakai and about to come into contact with them. Hakai's smoke began to build up around his body, almost covering every single bit of his body as he took deeper and deeper breathes. The smoke was launched out at the spears, making contact with three of them, blowing up prematurely. The explosion they let out ploughed through the ice and fortifications that were in the area, the 8 more spears still searching for him. As he began to dodge the attack, the explosion of each one blurred his vision. Hakai took another two out with his smoke, sending his palm through the ground and making it appear below the Kidō resulting in yet another two premature explosions. Six more continued as an assault though, they rushed in as Hakai launched his body back before impact. They slammed the ground, a single spear smashing into his leg. The explosions covered the sky and ground in an extremely intense light; almost blinding. The explosions smashed his body back, feeling as if a massive weight had hit him. The one that smashed into his leg sending an immense shock of pain through his body. Once the explosions had cleared, it revealed Hakai with a group of smoke covering his body which acted as a shield to block some of the explosion and damage from the Kidō.
Hakai's bankai was the perfect balance between assault and defence, he could have extreme defence while having a perfect attack at the same time; making him extremely flexible. The steel skin that was covering his body, however, had a large crack up the right leg and looked like it could shatter at any moment. The damage had definitely reached Hakai, he may not have been showing it but it was definitely effecting him. He panted as the steel skin let a leak of sweat from his forehead.
"Kaiedo... What a man you are... But..."
Standing up, Hakai's legs shook a tiny bit; as his shiny metal skin reflecting in the light from the surroundings. His arms were held down by his side, slowly he changed them to swords and smirked while he looked onward at Kaiedo again. Quickly, he raised a hand to his face like he was about to scratch his own face, holding it out before him. He pulled down, the vizard mask reappearing on his face and the black energy beginning to launch about once again.
"This is where the real fight begins."
