How to make your first Application.

I suppose you're here for what the title said, You're basic guide to Roleplaying.
Before I start off, there are plenty other guides you can always refer too and if you're ever stuck, feel free to talk to a member or staff, myself or the others listed in the side bar to you're left!

So, when you begin off in RP you'll want to first read the rules.

If you're a newbie to this nature, don't worry. All of us had to start somewhere, right? For instance, you may be in awe at Frost's RP. I know I am~ But with hard work and dedication comes rewards. So stick with us and we'll be able to get you up to a good level in no time!

The most difficult thing if you ever come across it is creating you're OWN character, also known as a OC, for Original Character.
First off, you'll want to think of what race you want. The ones we offer;

That list is updated often but before you create the Canon that meets your eye, you'll want to run it through our main chat, XAT or the C-box just in case the character was already taken and the list isn't updated.

When creating a Canon, you're free to grab the info, I.E personality, Background e.t.c from their Wiki page. AS LONG as it meets the requirements. This includes 10 sentences for personality and such.

ALSO, You'll want to create you're OWN RP Sample. This is the big MUST if you want to get the Canon. Make sure you capture what the character acts like, the tone of voice, e.t.c.

Now that you have a good sense of what race you want or the Canon. The difficult thing I see people are stuck on is "Where do I post my Apps"
If I were to explain then you'll be stuck yourself so I'll explain in pictures.

So, let's say we want to create... A Human~!

Located on the left hand side, if you scroll down you'll see this, although of course you can refer to the links I gave you above.

Here is what you'll have to fill out, but first things first, you'll want to get the CODE.

To find this, SCROLL DOWN on the page you're at and you should see something like this.

The CODE is pretty much the most important thing from the template, Why? It POWERS the template. You'll need this if you want to create your character.

Simply, High light all the text within the box, like this.

So you've highlighted it, NOW COPY IT, (( Ctrl+C )) <-- Found on the keyboard. Once you've Copied this you're good to go. Now listen up~

You'll want to paste this somewhere now. Follow these steps.

Scroll back to the top of the page and you'll should see this.

A little explantion, WIP is Work In Progress. You'll want to create your character here just in case you have to stop half way, you can easily post it and come back to it later~

On the big box, scroll to the top and start by filling your character out~

Personality you want two paragraphs, 10 sentences Minimum or more.
Appearance, YES You CAN add a picture. Try your best to give out a description if you do so.

Background includes two paragraphs again.
RP Sample is 10 sentences minimum, you'll want to RP as the character your creating.

NOW, Powers. Seen under Natural Abilities. THIS IS OPTIONAL. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE YOUR CHARACTER POWERS IF HUMAN.

Once you have filled it all out, include the header, subject.

Here, Simply put the Name of your character First name and last name if he/she has one;

You're done!

You should be shown to your finished app. Look through it and check to make sure you've included everything you need. After which, make a comment say it's finished or come see a member of staff where we will look through your app and accept it if you've done everything to the standards!
