☨ B A S I C || I N F O ☨|Name|
Several Billions of Years in total. He has been "Awakened" for 250,000 Years.|Gender|
Abaddon cleaves to no specific shifter form when he does decide to adopt one in the first place. When he is required to, he takes any human form he deems useful or necessary. Typically he adopts a male human form between the ages of 35 and 40 in appearance, generally a massive figure in terms of bulk and muscle with dull brown hair. He typically detests taking a human form, and has to this day not taken the form of a female.|True Appearance|
Despite the name, this is not Abaddon's actual true appearance. This is simply the appearance he most often takes and is usually seen in. This is explained and described in his Demon States. In this form he stands slightly over ten feet in height, his wings stand as tall as him when folded on his back and easily double when fully extended. HE weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of six-hundred and fifty to seven hundred pounds.
☨ P E R S O N A L I T Y ☨|Intelligent|
A combination of a hunger for knowledge, draconic intelligence, and being self-aware and alive for over 250,000 years has led to the existence of a very intelligence being. Throughout the millennia Abaddon has collected information in the forms of personal experience and tomes, scrolls, books, and other such methods from a multitude of dimensions. He has stored this trove of knowledge in a personal dimension he created that he uses as his personal base of operations when operating outside of Demon World. Beyond the knowledge he has gathered, he possesses a keen mind and insatiable thirst for knowledge that he seeks to slake when time permits. He operates by this intelligence and analysis rather than emotion, diving into a situation unprepared only as a last resort. To a being who has lived for so long and has no end in sight, time is not a factor in plans; only patience is.|Loyal|
Abaddon is a loyal follower of Touketsu, more out of gratitude than out of some vague sentiment that seems to be the reason most demons follow him. While some are called to Touketsu’s cause or power, he is merely paying the Demon God back for the gift of sapience he was given over two-hundred millennia ago. He does not place his personal loyalty on those around him, however; he holds other to the loyalty that they swore when they join Touketsu’s army, and will remove traitors without hesitation or remorse.|Reserved|
Abaddon holds most of his emotions are arms-length, seldom displaying any emotion in plain sight. He acts and reacts with logic and thought rather than emotion, and holds no small amount of disdain for those incapable of controlling or coping with their own emotions. He prefers to look at things objectively, and speaks only when others will not or have no come to the same conclusion he has. His temper is hard to draw to the surface, and it is better to not try to bring it out; once angered, he will bring his full and considerable force to bear against anyone, without hesitation or remorse.|Generally Arrogant|
It is something he has acquired with age; Abaddon has no small amount of arrogance though his general reserved silence makes it hard to recognize. He has become this way due to a few simple facts; firstly, he is one of the original demons Touketsu created, and even only counting the number of years he has been “awakened” he far outstrips most demons in terms of age. Secondly, many demons are cocky, boastful, and arrogant without reason. And finally, Abaddon is strong. Those who are loud and believe themselves so great and mighty are like gnats to him, and there are no shortage of them in Shadow Fall.|Intimidating|
Perhaps it came with age, or with strength, or with size, or with position. Regardless of where it came from, Abaddon is an intimidating individual. He carries himself with a presence of power, knowledge, and detached emotion that lays the foundation for this and is then built upon by his sheer stature. His presence alone is almost tangible, reducing most mortals and weak-minded spirits to blathering idiots simply by being in close proximity. Demons are not exempt from this presence, and those that have seen his physical might and intellectual prowess brought before others could tell you why.|Relentless|
Whether he is pursuing a piece of knowledge that has grabbed his mind, or an enemy that he seeks to kill, Abaddon possesses a relentless nature that inhabits every aspect of his temperaments. Once he has decided on something, there is little that will stop his pursuit of that thing, whether it be information, destruction, or anything else. If you are the one standing between him and something he seeks, you’d be wise to step aside or prepare for the battle of your life. Abaddon will not back down or retreat unless certain death is promised at the end of the road he is currently taking. He may be proud and fierce, but he has no interest in dying just yet, and knows when the smarter option would be to wait and renew the pursuit once the obstacle is removed.
☨ H I S T O R Y ☨Creation - Several Millions of Years Ago
Touketsu created Demon World long ago. Once he had created that, and been satisfied with his creation, he set about filling his newborn world with the creatures nightmares would eventually come to be made of. One such creature was Abaddon; though at the time he held no such name to speak of. He was a nameless demon of destruction that took the form of a large, terrifying dragon. At the time, he did not possess sapience; he was nothing more than a strange predator of demon world and the real world. He hunted any creature that he could bring down, which was most of the things in existence at that point in time. He stalked the worlds like that for millions of years, hunted, and grew in power until a fateful encounter with his creator brought him a purpose and even greater power than he already held.The Awakening - 210,000 Years Ago
Maybe he hunted a few too many demons. Perhaps he had simply attracted too attention with his feasting; he had warred with many demons by this point because of his trespasses. Whatever the reason was, Abaddon was sought out by a force that he could not match with all his predatory instinct and immense physical might; he was found by Touketsu. He does not pretend to know what the true reason he was sought out was; he could venture guesses but that’s the best he could do. The reason is now irrelevant anyway; the outcome of the meeting was that Abaddon, then the nameless dragon-demon that preyed upon demonkind, was granted the sapience he had not received upon his creation. With that gift came the awakening of his ravenous intellect and keen mind; he took on the name Abaddon Astarot then and pledged loyalty to Touketsu, both out of gratitude and out of respect for Touketsu’s power.Sin Fall - Roughly 210,000 Years Ago
Abaddon wasted little time after he was awakened in joining Sin Fall, the organization that Touketsu had set-up within Demon World to do his bidding. As a symbol of his loyalty to Demon God, he joined the organization; however, he saw weakness in the current head of the First Circle. Thus, he did the natural thing and removed that weakness with his own strength, more out of his own thirst for power instead of his loyalty. Thus was born the strange dualistic nature in Abaddon; he held loyalty to Touketsu out of gratitude more than anything. He did not expect other demons to holy loyalty for the same reason, but did expect all demons within Sin Fall to hold loyalty for any reason that they choose. As for other demons, he simply expected them to follow the rules of the realm. As the head of the First Circle, he would make sure they did and would enforce Touketsu’s laws. It was shortly after he took leadership of the First Circle that he went about sealing away his true form, and took on his demonic form. It served as a convenience thing; it was easier to operate within the city when he could fit into the buildings.A King Rises – Recent
For over two-hundred thousand years, Abaddon grew in influence and power as he led the First Circle of Sin Fall. During this time he accomplished many of his personal goals as well, such as the accumulation of one of the largest libraries of knowledge in existence; tomes of demonic and earthen history, spells, and ancient relics he has not deigned to open yet. This library he stores in one of his pocket dimensions, safe from those who would want to pilfer it either for profit or amusement. However, during this time Abaddon was seldom seen; he had the other members of the First Circle handle many of the issues that arose. There was rarely reason for him to personally step in and sort out a situation, though it did happen a few times. As the years went on, and our story brings us closer to present times, he began to appear more often. Win the increase in Sin Fall’s activities, there was more need of him.
Then, only a handful of years ago, Abaddon was handed a surprising promotion; to King of Sin Fall in Touketsu’s absence. He accepted graciously, aware that it wasn’t only Mana’s idea but Touketsu’s in some capacity as well. With his promotion, there was an increase in Abaddon’s already substantial power. Yet, he did not immediately put his power to use. He carefully chose his replacement for the First Circle, and then handled what most would consider mundane tasks. Truth be told, Abaddon was handling many things behind the scenes as Sin Fall began to shift in a new direction. Big events were on the horizon.Shadow Fall – Present
Not much to be said here, yet. The eve of Shadow Fall’s rise has just begun. Only horrible things await all those who stand against the oncoming night…

☨ U N I Q U E || A B I L I T I E S ☨|Draconic Defenses|
Due to being an early creation of Touketsu, Abaddon lacks the Akuma Kyodo present in most of the Demon race. He has never bothered to get one bound to him either, since he already possesses an equivalent form of defense; his draconic heritage. Instead of having the Akuma Kyodo, Abaddon’s defensive capabilities are instead roughly 35% - 40% higher than a normal demon of his tier. However, he does not possess the ability to double his defensive capabilities for any amount of time, and in fact is only capable of increasing his defenses through the use of demon magics.
In addition to this, Abaddon’s draconic nature grants him an innate spell resistance to spell-like abilities(Kidō, Demon Magics, etc) launched against him by an amount dependent on the opponents tier. Against a character 5 tiers lower than Abaddon(so a 1-2 or lower) are reduced by 75%. 3(0-5) tiers are reduced by 45%. And 2(0-4) tiers lower and up are reduced by 30%. Any spell-like abilities launched by an equivalent tier or higher tiered character are reduced by 10%.|Draconic Strength and Endurance|
Abaddon’s strength and endurance are naturally higher than most demons due to the draconic heritage present in his blood. As such, he possesses immense strength and durability.|Dimensional Creation, Control, and Travel|
One of Abaddon’s most tactically powerful and practical capabilities, this allows Abaddon to literally create sub dimensions in which to store objects, troops, or nothing. Upon the creation of the sub-dimension, Abaddon may impose or remove any “rules” the dimension may have up to a point. This is typically a step he skips however; while entertaining there is little use to creating a dimension void of gravity or other such laws. He is capable of connecting these sub-dimensions to the dimension it was created to, or even to other dimensions depending on how much time is invested in it.
There are obvious drawbacks to such a powerful ability. The biggest of these drawbacks are Time and Energy. This is not an ability that can be used in combat by any means; to fully create a sub-dimension Abaddon must invest a full day’s worth of time and a tremendous amount of energy. Typically, Abaddon is only capable of creating a sub dimension every three days safely due to the amount of energy expended. Once a dimension is created it requires no energy to maintain luckily, and Abaddon retains the ability to modify the dimension though doing so takes concentration, time, and energy.
A lesser form of this is Abaddon’s ability to link two dimensions through a sub-dimension of minimal size and energy usage. This allows him to travel between different dimensions and accounts for one of the reasons he was head of the First Circle of Sin Fall prior to his promotion to Reagent King. These dimensions typically collapse shortly after they become clear of objects, though they can be strengthened to become more permanent travel routes.
As of this post, he only has 3 permanent sub dimension's active; one in Demon World which acts as his home and storage, one on Earth in an unspecified location, and one more in an unspecified location(This will be revealed soon).|Molten Power|
One of Abaddon’s primary physical combat amplifications, his fists become imbued with molten energy. The skin on his fists crack and begin to radiate intense heat around the 1800 degrees Celsius mark. This amount of heat is reached only due to amplification by demonic energies and draconic energies. While this makes Abaddon’s physical attacks incredibly dangerous at close range, this is not the extent or even true intent of this power. Once activated, Abaddon gains access to the abilities listed below.
Molten Control|Heat Resistance|
Abaddon is capable of controlling molten surfaces and objects while this power is active. The applications of this are limited only by the imagination of a dragon.
By making contact with the ground with his fist, Abaddon is capable of melting the surroundings and creating a molten pool below him. At this level, the pool starts out at three feet in diameter and expands by another three feet for every second he is allowed to continue to channel energy into it. There is no limit to how large this pool can reach.
By striking a surface a trail of molten material will move at high speed towards the target. Upon reaching the target area it will erupt in a pillar of molten material and demonic energy, rising 40 feet into the air in a circular pillar 15 feet in diameter. This requires a surface to strike and can only be used once every 2 posts. The pillar can be allowed to rise higher if Abaddon channels time and energy into it, making it rise another 30 feet every 2 seconds he does so. The pillar can only rise up.
Because of his draconic heritage, demonic heritage, and mastery over heat-related powers, Abaddon possesses an incredible resistance to heat. He is completely unaffected by the heats produced by his Molten Power abilities and beyond. The limits of this resistance have yet to be tested to their max.|Hellfire Breath|
Abaddon is capable of unleashing a blast of demonic-infused flames from his mouth at will with a 1 post cooldown. These flames attack not only the target’s physical form but their spiritual and magic reserves. The flames will cling to the target after the initial attack and attempt to burn not only them but their magical energies to reduce their capability of healing or using magic. These flames have the strength of a mid-40’s Kidō cast by an advanced user of tier 0-4.|Demon Dragon’s Roar|
Abaddon’s most destructive ability. By drawing in breath and concentrating both the demonic and draconic energies within his own body, Abaddon unleashes a terrifying breath attack. In this form, Demon Dragon’s Roar has the approximate strength of 4 Gran Rey Ceros. The breath can be shaped to be either a beam attack or a more wide-spread cone attack. When concentrated, the attack will destroy a large portion of the area it’s aimed at, regardless of whether the target is hit or not. When spread the damage is done over a much larger area though it will not crater the ground. In his sealed form Abaddon is only capable of using this attack once every 4 posts, after which he must regain some of his energy. Additionally, it takes a second to charge the attack before it can be unleashed.
☨ D E M O N || S T A T E S ☨
Abaddon created his demonic states out of a need for convenience; when he joined Sin Fall after his awakening, he found that his immense size and power caused many problems logistically. As such, he sealed his powers and forms away into the form he is most commonly seen in. Where most demons move beyond their true form to reach higher levels of power, Abaddon merely returns to his true form, and true power.

Once Abaddon enters he Demonic Dragon State, his defenses increase. He receives a 15% defensive increase, bringing him to 150% of an equivalent tiered demon’s defense. Additionally, Abaddon’s spell resistance also receives an increase in strength; at this stage spell-like abilities from a character 4 tiers or lower than himself(1-1+ or lower at 0-2+) will be nullified, abilities from characters 3 tiers(0-5) lower than himself will be reduced by 75%, 2 tiers(0-4) lower will be reduced by 50%, and 1 tier lower(0-3) will be reduced by 35%. Spell-like abilities launched by equivalently tiered characters or higher will be reduced by 20%.Enhanced Draconic Strength and Endurance
Abaddon’s strength is effectively quadrupled once he enters this state, while his endurance is doubled.Encumbered Movement
Abaddon’s increased size does have drawbacks. While in his draconic forms, Abaddon loses the Shadow Movement ability and the ability to increase his ground speed via demonic magic. He retains the ability to open portals to other dimensions, though it now takes 1 full post to open a portal large enough to permit him. While on the ground Abaddon’s speed drops significantly, to the point that he is capable of sprinting at only 70 miles an hour for a short time. Enhanced Flight
Abaddon’s true battlefield once he has entered his draconic state is the sky. For his massive size he is highly maneuverable in the air.Master of Molten Rage
Abaddon’s mastery over molten power increases. He is capable of making Molten Pools below him at will not as long as he is on the ground, starting with a radius of 15 feet and increasing by 15 feet a second as long as he wills it too. His claws are permanently engulfed in Molten Power in this form. He is capable of sending out up to 4 separate Molten Pillars at once in this form, corresponding to the number of clawed feet/hands touching the ground.Immunity to Heat
In his Draconic states Abaddon becomes immune to most forms of heat.Roar of Acnologia
An enhanced version of Demon Dragon’s Roar. The power of this attack is further increased, while the cooldown remains the same. The destructive potential of this attack is so great that Abaddon can and has taken out an island with it.

Additionally, his spell resistance gains another increase in power. He nullifies spells from those 3 tiers lower than him, reduces the effects of spells from those 2 tiers lower than him by 75%, and those 1 tier lower than him by 45%. Those of equal tier or higher than him have their spell-like abilities reduced by 25% against him.Primordial Strength and Endurance
Abaddon’s Strength is further increased, tripling once again while his endurance doubles once more.Further Encumberment
Abaddon’s speed and agility drops once more. He is also incapable of passing through portals while he retains this form. He cannot increase his movement speed by any means while in this form, can only sprint at 50 miles an hour (though he will cover a lot of distance because of his stride).Primordial Dragon’s Roar
Abaddon’s breath weapon increases in power to its maximum effect. Its exact effects on the real world are as of now unknown because it has never been deemed needed. Because of the size and power increase it can be assumed that the destructive potential of the attack will be easily tripled. The cooldown is decreased by 1 post, but can only be used 3 times in a thread.
Roar of the EndPrimordial Molten Destruction
An enhanced version of Primordial Dragon’s Roar, this attack has several specific stipulations with its usage. Firstly, the attack requires a charge time of 3 posts while Abaddon gathers the necessary amount of energy. Secondly, Abaddon can take no other actions with the exception of flight while he charges this attack, though he is unable to fly at full speed while he charges. And finally, he will be incapable of using Primordial Dragon’s Roar for 8 posts, and Roar of the End for 25 posts.
What he gets for these stipulations is an amplified Primordial Dragon’s Roar with roughly 3 times the power of a normal one. Theoretically, that amount of power may be capable of removing a small continent from existence, or even the moon. However, as Demon World is more interested in taking over the human world, not reducing it to nothingness, the chances of this attack being used are extremely slim.
Abaddon’s Molten Power ability again increases in size and power to match his own size. The starting pool is roughly 80 feet in diameter, and increases by 100 feet every 2 seconds. Additionally, his claws are constantly in Molten Power, adding destructive power and heat to his claw attacks.
