The auburn headed male blew wind from his mouth up to his face making a strand of hair move out of his eyes as he watched the scene unfolded plain as day in front of him, he was half hidden in the shadows but his white blue eyes seemed to shine through the dark murky haze. He had been watching the event unfold since the non human male had entered this part of the world, he watched the kick he took as if it were a light slap, he watched the one man's nose shatter with little effort. He smirked as he saw the man chase the gang at inhuman speeds and he followed them himself out to the side where he couldn't be noticed unless he wished to be.

He now wished to be, as he watched the male corner the small gang, of at least three, he popped the cap on his SP increasing it as the stone under his feet cracked due to the pressure and the pipes on the walls to both of his sides that formed the ally way bent inward. The shadow itself seemed to ripple in effect with him releasing his SP. It wasn't a lot of energy to him but it would be enough to make the other male notice he was far from alone.

He wasn't sure what the next move would be but he knew that something fun was to happen, either the other male would want to fight or he would not. He was hoping he wouldn't. Fighting wasn't a fun thing to do, if it could be avoided and lives could be saved then he would avoid it.

Carter walked forward from the ally his spirit pressure barley uncorked but the amount of it cracking the stones as he went, he liked the thought this arrancar had about making the human give money to a good cause. He cleared his throat loudly to get the air cleaned from things he heard the arrancar say, "I am neither of the two things you assumed I was, I am a vizard. Not a high powered one, but if you plan on attacking me I will leave you with a few cuts to lick before I die." He spoke as he kept walking closer with both of his hands out to his side with his palms up to show peace.

He would wait to see what would happen next, as he said he hated to fight people who didn't need to die.

Valin's Problem [OPEN] Mickmujer
Hadriel Duran, Demoness of the Lake

It is clearly above her control as Hadriel sees the future unfolding before her like her former master foretold. It is in the end of his time when the throne of despair will be barren and the queen of catastrophe will raise her scythe against the eternal enemies of the Demon World. Soon, the God of Demons will rise yet again. Hadriel wishes that it was not true as for eternity. Demons are in need of the humans for they are enriched with potentials for new soldiers and new food supply all together. Yet the Queen would not listen to Hadriel’s views as ever since TelcinVohlis’s demise to Genpaku and Solas in Karakura, Hadriel was discredited as no longer the Lady of Lake Azarel; let alone her nobility status was decimated and the only thing that renders her useful is her ability to create monsters through her body rather than her magic. As of now, Hadriel feels that she should disappear and pursue what her former master meant as “an alliance of enemies” that she has to be part of if she wishes to save the humans. Not only she wants to save her source of power, she also wishes to save her enemies so the balance in the universe would not be disrupted. According to the Demon Lord of Despair, if the balance is disrupted, the dimensions will follow as the worlds here, there and beyond will have to readjust to the quick change in circumstances and possibilities. In short, Hadriel would end up with no rivals to be challenged by, no innocents to tease, and no one to have a good time with; just her, the demons and the Queen as she pursues her fable conquest in blind faith that she always finds trouble. It is baffling that the Queen would be that optimistic when eventually, she will become the good guys she despises, no matter what she did because eventually, there will be no one to be called the bad guys.

She stands by the lake that was once her home and birth place. Looking back now, she can remember the time that TelcinVohlis first summoned her from the depth of Lake Azarel. Her first task was to prove to him that she will be faithful, and then just left her, thus abandoning her. What does that mean about his view of faith from her? In the end, she discovered that leaving that foul Archduke was that sign that she prefers to serve TelcinVohlis, despite her reluctance in serving after learning about dominance. To her, dominance was her key piece of herself. She always wanted to be on top of something, even if it was during an intercourse. Now with TelcinVohlis gone and her soul stone given back to her, Hadriel feels different; empty in a way while weighed lightly. She was free to follow her path and yet, she lost her reputation in the process as the Archdukes and the royalty will not look at her like she is semi-important; she is just a maggot to them. Now it is clear that she is meant to be on their side rather than siding with the Queen and her meaningless crusade. She turns away from the lake of memory and raises her left hand, gathered into a spout as the za koa energy flows out smoothly. “Master of our History. Lord of Despair. I see a target to torment. Open your eyes and lead me to my sin thus I should create.” Hadriel invokes as the moment she mentions the final word, she snaps her fingers and a clap of energy rips open a man-sized window that reveals a forest near Karakura Central. In her human form, she steps into the portal and instantly walks into the forest like the space between Earth and Hell was paper thin.

So I have to find my ene-allies to unite with and prepare myself for the inevitable that the Queen will do. Hadriel contemplates as she observes her location surrounded by looming trees and hidden roots. What attracts her homeless attention was the sound of laser armaments being used which was going on in the now disrupted ambience of the forest of war. Hadriel begins to wonder why most of the fights are in this forest of all forests? Is there something valuable that is worth going into repetition of variations? Hadriel believes that nothing is known just by theorizing, she has to investigate. In her green gown fit for a ball and a beauty of a matured princess, Hadriel strolls through the brushes and navigates around the trees. In the shadow, the scene unfolds with humans fighting humans with advanced armaments that Hadriel has encountered before, but how they get their clumsy hands upon them, Hadriel tsk-tsk-tsk’s away in her disappointment that the humans are for punches, but no armor. Even the middle ages, TelcinVohlis explains to her that it was a grand time when humans would compete by running into each other with heavy armor and pride harder than their steel swords. Now, she can see these pests running around with weapons that are not as remotely romantic as the traditional weapons like the bastard sword or a fanged mace. Even a katana seems more romantically implied than these light boxes. She sticks to the shadow so she will not be seen and with her human form, she would be undetectable for spirits, making them believe that she is just a mere human until she reveals her true form.

A moment of comedy for Hadriel, an Arrancar emerges from the brushes and speaks, “Now this is a crime scene, you freaks of Mother Nature; and I don’t give a crap about that human you just killed. Lucky for me, I get the chance to beat up some humans today.” Now this is getting interesting. Hadriel thinks of the possibilities while observing the humans trying to harm the Arrancar. One shoots a laser at the Arrancar, but no avail; friends call the Arrancar a superhero, which strikes a weak funny bone for Hadriel. Seriously why would humans call them that when it is clear that the Arrancar is not like them at all? The nerdy person happens to reveal what would be a pathetic excuse of a slap fighting stance. Hadriel commends them in silence that they survive and not piss off the Arrancar for this long as the Arrancar head-butts the punk, putting the kid out of commission in one strike. They ran, but the Arrancar was quick to catch up to them, which is rather sad now they are crying for mercy. They even mentioned an Iramasha male that they killed to get the money they are bribing the Arrancar with. As the Arrancar was going to kill the humans who foolishly attacked him, Hadriel cannot help but to notice an ominous change in ambience, another person in the field perhaps? Considering she is a demon, she has the eyesight to isolate the ambience and track down the trace of the spiritual pressure. Apparently, she and the Arrancar are not the only ones who are spiritually present in this forest; a mix of cero and Kidō in this one too. It is now becoming boring as the humans are being pathetic. Not even TelcinVohlis would want them as his test subjects if he was still alive. The Arrancar chose to punish them by forcing their money into charity for a year, which is rather pathetic all together. Where is the more dire kind? Judging by the third party’s spiritual pressure, it is growing rather moderate; possibly someone with first stage of power at least.

The third person enters the scene with Hadriel still hidden in the trees, watching everything unfolds like some kind of an animated fan-fiction. Painfully it is to heard, it turns out that person is a Vizard, an enemy of the demons. The Arrancar seems surprised by the revelation as Hadriel can hear a faint echo, “A Vizard????” Unfortunately for Hadriel now-dampened sense of humor, they both are not going to fight at all. It is a pity because Hadriel would like a good fight to watch every now and then. The Arrancar turns to the humans and sends them off, something Hadriel would loathe to miss such an opportunity. Hadriel flicks her right wrist and a pile of golden powder appears in the palm of her right hand. Solidified spiritual energy is what they are called and Hadriel was taught how to make them with ease thanks to her former master. Into the darkness of the forest, she blows the golden glitter and the powder turns into fireflies that are mythically believed to lead children back home. The idea is to distract the humans into running to her general location while not causing so much of a peep that would trigger suspicions from the Arrancar and Vizard. Hadriel walks away from the two and enters a small opening where Hadriel expects the three to come across eventually. Into the floor of the forest, Hadriel uses a sturdy stick to draw a calligraphic symbol, “Tomaru” ( 止まる ) or “Stop.” This creates a muting barrier dome that is meant to ensnare and silence the preys whose are foolish enough to break that symbol within twenty feet in diameter. All who are inside can hear each other and hear what is going on outside, but anything outside the barrier will be blocked by the barrier, but cannot hear what was going on inside.

It was not long until the fools have fallen for her trap, following what they thought would be fireflies out to guide them out. The barrier appears around them stealthily as their gasps are quickly suffocated by the muting. Where is Hadriel? She is in the barrier with them with a smirk on her face. “None Shall Pass. Tell me what you know about that Iramasha guy that owes you money? Normally, it is murder and Hell will have ways to deal with murderers.” Hadriel speaks to the three who are still scared out of their wits from the Arrancar. They asked for her name and Hadriel chuckles. Humans are fun creatures, so easy to manipulate when needed. “I will say that is the wrong answer; let alone the wrong question. Next question; do you know why I came here for you three?” Hadriel asks. It is a twisted game of hers that whenever someone answers wrong, the harsher the punishment will be and if all correct, they go free with a special gift. However, they are incorrect again as they claimed that she was after the Iramasha guy they killed. “Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Second wrong; one more and you are all done for. By far, your punishment from the Arrancar still stands and if you get this wrong, you all become my personal servants. Now... For the last question; who is the most afraid of the Arrancar you seen earlier?” Hadriel speaks to the three. All three raise their hand, answering that they are all afraid, but not answering the most, meaning only one of them is the most afraid. “Wrong again. Now you are all mine. For taking the life of a person, I’m taking the freedom of your persons; a fate similar to death itself.” Hadriel concludes as she reveals her true form as the mean to unlock her powers.

To the Arrancar and the Vizard, they could feel the strange pulse of spiritual energy that is dense, but knowing Hadriel, she is quick with her crafts and the two will be too late to save the men who have their souls torn out of their body and bound to Hadriel through an invisible thread of servitude. “Now...You and you; you two will line up the bodies so I can preserve them. That way I can put you three back into the bodies after the service is released.” Hadriel instructs the two humans as the third stands idly by. Quickly before the Arrancar and the Vizard would have the chance to see her, Hadriel uses Jigsoku Sudoko or “Impossible Speed” to flash-step out of the clearing, shattering the barrier in the process. Making it look like the three are recently kicked out of their bodies. One thing to do to make it convincing, she snaps her fingers and temporarily breaks the trance, so they return to normal and Hadriel shifts back to her human form and falls over, having some dirt on her to make it look like she was attacked. If all goes well, the Arrancar and the Vizard would assume that a demon passes by here and just left before they could reach them.

Carter looks to answer the Arrancar as a soft wind blows locks of his auburn hair into his eyes. Moving them away from his line of sight he speaks "Not often I see someone go ape shit on humans but they let them off in the end, I am Carter Zenaki 3rd seat On the Vizard Corps spec Ops, If you do not mind my asking who and what are you?" He spoke/asked as he looked around with a weird feeling somebody was watching him, it wasn't a tip off like spirit pressure release but his hair always stood on end on his neck and arms when someone unseen was listening and watching him, this is what made him a some what decent spy and assassin.

Carter turned his head as the humans ran past and into the forest past him, He turned back to the Arrancar as he heard them trash through the branches and underbrush but soon, too soon the noise stopped and it confused him. There was no way they had left his hearing range yet nor were they brave enough to stand around, his suspicion of something/one else being near by seemed more probable by the moment. Cracking his neck he looked into the forest and started walking towards it hoping the Arrancar would follow him for back up if need be or stay and wait for him.

Carter leapt upward into a tree as he held his left hand on the pummel of his zanpkuto and flitted from tree to tree closer to where the birds stopped chirping. As he leapt to the third tree a wave of energy flooded over him, he almost gagged and feel unconscious at it's power, this thing toward over him but he could feel the malevolent under score to it. It was a demon and he moved in without haste, he didn't want to die today. even though he was supposed to be enemies with demons he knew they were not all damnable beings, some could be accepted and a few could be friends.

He stopped moving seeing the men and what looked to be a battered woman in the dirt, he had seen tricks like this before where demons try and play dead or look like they were mere humans. Falling form the tree he landed beside her with a faint thud and uncapped his spirit pressure again as he patted her cheek lightly to wake her. He wanted her to know that he knew what she was but that didn't mean he was looking for a fight. He also noticed a broken seal in the dirt.

Valin's Problem [OPEN] Empty Re: Valin's Problem [OPEN]

Spoiler:
Valin's Problem [OPEN] Mickmujer
Hadriel Duran, Demoness of the Lake
Since demons have both physical and spiritual aspects of their form, they can generally do things that humans cannot do while also do what spirits generally cannot do without a physical body. In this case, Hadriel creates a faint field of energy around the area that covers a mile in diameter, and then she creates a faint sprite in her dormancy. To those who are masterful in detection, the area would have a noticeably red hue in the environment’s ambient coloring. However, for the case of the Privaron Espada and the vizard, the area would have an ominous presence all around like someone is watching them from a different location than where Hadriel is. As a succubus, Hadriel is capable of creating deception without needing effort as she can be inductive of mentalities. As for the sprite, it allows Hadriel to see the vizard and the arrancar approach ahead of time so she can be as still as a human who was just attacked. Another trick that Hadriel can do that some demons are capable of doing providing the timing is correct. But it will be explained later, the sprite, Hadriel’s eyes beyond her own spot the vizard approaching, following by a weary arrancar.

By the names that they given each other, Valin was only stronger by raw power, but seems to have less fortitude due to his fainting spell possibly from her dense za koa field as she was subduing the men. The vizard only was coming because Hadriel was being too sudden for the sneaky factor. Now Hadriel has to be in the scene, a tactic rarely taken as the perpetrator. After the vizard passes the third tree, he stumbles a bit just before the arrancar faints. It is funny how they are weakened by a faint amount of za koa, a dense energy field created by Touketsu predating far before the eve of mankind. Hadriel’s sprite expresses interest as Hadriel’s body remains still. Perhaps with enough, she can manipulate the two into her bidding, but that would be counterintuitive for her purpose. After all, the vizard will be her ticket to reaching her first allying attempt. When they reach Hadriel’s body, the two seems to have two different opinions. Valin believes that Hadriel is a human woman who was attacked by the three men that she subdued into servitude before while Carter was definitely suspecting something. Hadriel guesses it is time to use the talent that was mentioned before in past paragraph.

As Carter is going to pat her cheek to wake her, Hadriel focuses into her physical form by willingly reject the spiritual influence over her through mind over matter. Normally, a spirit can touch anyone with a spiritual awareness or a spiritual body, yet not a physical body; the spiritual body was absent enough that her body cannot reject a spiritual being, allowing Carter’s hand to past through her like his spiritual influence is not affecting her. In simple explanation; if the body rejects, it repels, so a person cannot go further into the body as the skin was rejecting them, which is referred as “touching.” That is a trait shared upon humans who have no spiritual awareness. The only reason that some humans are attacked by hollows was the fact the hollows have a spiritual influence over that human, allowing the human to slowly become spiritually aware. Even a faint amount of spiritual influence will allow the hollow to physically harm a human. As for Hadriel’s case, the spiritual influence was too weak for Carter to make contact with her. Note the spiritual presence does not change during the process, so something like that is very rare to detect.

Hadriel weakly opens her eyes as she looks around her surroundings. Her face shows obliviousness, confusion and mild pain as if she was merely a victim of the situation. The question is how she ends up that far apart from the three men. “O-ow.” Hadriel whimpers as she did not look at Carter and Valin like she cannot see or hear them. She reaches behind her head and feels it before checking her hand gloved in black silk. Her gown makes it unusual for a victim to be in the forest to begin with. “No blood...How did I get knocked out to begin with?” Hadriel ponders as she walks south, the way to the three men. Her walking was clumsy, which is a sign that the injury was recent, virtually simultaneous to the time that a wave of dense za koa energy hits the vizard and the arrancar. When she arrives to the opening, she notices the three men’s bodies are lined up like it was set for coffin-counting. Hadriel stumbles away from the line of bodies and falls over onto her butt while scurrying away from them. “M-More bodies? What is going on here?” Hadriel quietly panics to herself. Judging by how she is reacting to the situation, it would set the two off that she is just a bystander in all this and the perpetrator has already left, leaving the za koa energy field as residue of power. The sprite in the background explodes, releasing a minor wave as if the perpetrator was summoning a portal and leaving the scene. As for Hadriel, she looks like she was cornered by Death and was lost getting back home. She scurries to a tree and lay back against it to stay away from the bodies and to try and calm herself down so she can continue her way back without getting more lost.

Valin's Problem [OPEN] Empty Re: Valin's Problem [OPEN]

Wed Feb 01, 2012 9:04 pm
With a sigh Carter watched as his hand slid through the woman, she was a mere human. Blissfully unaware he was even alive. She was a pretty young thing and dressed way to nice to have been out here on her own accord, he thought of all the ways she could have ended here and he found one that was crude, barbaric, and most probable. The men had brought her here to have there way with her. He looked at them with anger in his eyes, he couldn't hold back his increase in spirit pressure for a few minutes as the dirt under his feet compacted and tiny fissures came into existence under him. He wanted to kill each man and would have if not for the lingering feeling of whatever demon attacked being around, the area felt haunted by a spirit that was watching him, he knew it was out there but couldn't get a fix on it what-so-ever.

Looking back to the girl he watched as she awoke and sat up rubbing her head, she looked around and didn't make eye contact with him nor did her head stop and her gaze linger on him, she couldn't see him and most likely never would. He shrugged, it was common enough that humans couldn't see or feel his kind. He watched as she stood and walked by, she would have walked right through him but Carter moved out of her way even though it was uncalled for. He watched as she left the forest and made her way to the clearing with the three men and had a slight fit, he even chuckled as she fell on her back side, she wasn't hurt. Just stunned at what she was seeing and Carter would have been as well if he were a mere human, the three bodies lined up like the dead ready to be buried for good.

A slight frown appeared on his face as he watched the girl crawl/shuffle to a near by tree and try to assure herself that everything would be alright and Carter felt a twinge of pity for her in his heart. He wanted to help her in any way he could but he had a job to do and that was to make sure the demon was hunted down before it escaped. He turned away form her and started walking just in time to feel the portal open and close, there was no point in even going back the demon had escaped. Most likely it took the three men's souls, he was happy about that in a twisted way. They would feel real hell and he assumed they had it coming for harming the lovely young lady.

with his mind made up he walked back to her and sat to her left with his back braced against the tree's trunk, he felt the course texture of the bark, it was rough yet cool in the shade the tree casted. It would have been sort of pleasant if he were a human and he could share he moment with some one, it had been a few hundred years though since he shared a moment with anyone close to him and it would continue that way for a few hundred more at best. He looked back into the woods thinking of Valin and couldn't help but chuckle, the male had fainted at the wave of energy where as Carter had only had a slight trip in his trek. He couldn't help but enjoy it for the male was supposed to be way stronger than Carter yet he had clocked out for a few short minutes. Carter chewed the inside of his cheek as he waited to see if the male would re-appear or chase after the portal in vane.
