Kiyoshi Yosai

The life he lead. Taking care of the sister he had feelings for deeply. Really, it was his life. His imouto-chan had became his life ever since a fateful day for them both came. Their parents died and it all came down to him, Kiyoshi, the onii-chan to look after them both. Every day he worked hard to make sure he got the money he needed to keep him and his imouto-chan surviving. It was quite a difficult task for him, as every time he got home he ended up collpasing in bed and falling asleep very fast. One would wonder how would a average man survive this every day? It was just his unusual determination that saw him doing this for her every day. He loved her so much he was going to endure anything he could to get through the rough times and eventually make sure he could make his Imouto-chan happy. Thing is, there was also other problems. She had some mental disorders making her also kinda of hard to deal with at times due to them, but he was willing to do anything for her.

He had finished working for the day meaning he could get home to take care of her. This was around 5PM, and he began the drove home. He worked in the city, so it was a really busy place. He spent most of the car drive being tense because something may of happened while he wasn't there to his sister. The same way that his parents died while he was at home revising for exams, he couldn't help but worry the same thing might happen again and he would be completely powerless to do anything. At last, after around half hour of driving, he arrived home. He couldn't really hold back his paranoia now. He got out his char and rushed into his house, shouting "Imouto-chan! I'm home now, are you okay!?" finally releasing the pent up paranoia he had built up over the day. The funny thing is that this was a cycle, he did this every day. He was just waiting for the right time to confess how he felt for her though.. but he thought he'd be impossible because of what she was like.

Just a typical day, as she felt her head pound a bit. She was getting a headache because her brother wasn't around : she knew it was about now that he would arrive home from work, but she needed to finish that arm. The shaking in her limbs was getting more pronounced : the girl grit her teeth. In the dim echo of the buzz in her mind, she heard a door. The arm was finished, as her body moved, automatically. She spoke not a word, but walked downstairs towards her oniichan, her blue gaze looking up at him. How frustrating it was to not communicate properly with him. The girl tilted her head, her blonde strands tickling her. Her eyes blanked out, as she stared at him, before she took a few steps forward, and softly took his hand, going towards the kitchen after he removed his shoes.

Ritual, daily, simple.

That one action was plain and normal : leading him to the kitchen meant she was hungry.

And yet, trapped behind her own gaze, a well of frustrations was present. She wanted to communicate, to have happily welcomed him home. But nothing was worth it : her entire body refused the notion, her mind blocked by it's own feedback. Thus was the mind of a girl, as she simply did things that were easy to understand, or even a sort of dedication that was harder to comprehend. It was like every day was a pit of never ending despair, the same things over and over as she waited for nothing and no one. There was no escape from her own mind : Rizoku knew that well. All too well.

But he was home, and her headache was fading away.

Kiyoshi Yosai

Kiyoshi's eyes met with his imouto's eyes as she came down. He felt a deep feeling of happiness to see her again. This is what he mainly looked forward to every day of his life. Getting home to see her. It wasn't the only reason he tried to get home as soon as he could, as he knew he had to take care of her because the longer separated they were, the bigger headache that she would develop. So not only was he happy to see her, he was also relived so it means that she'd be okay. There was another reason for this too.. if her headaches got too severe... well. He'd rather not think about what would happen if it came down to that. He was going to try his 100% best to make sure that would never happen. She headed to the kitchen, Kiyoshi followed holding her hand, being took the kitchen. He knew what this meant. She wanted food. However, he wasn't quite sure what she wanted. For a moment, he mulled over how it felt to be in her postion. It must of been awful.. truly.

After going to the kitchen, he had to then figure out what she even wanted to eat. To accomplish this, He put all the food in one place and she could simply point to what she wanted and he'd cook it or simply give it to her. He then went to open the cupboard, revealing many kinds of food with plenty of variety. He then prooceded to ask her a simple question. "Imouto-chan, what do you want to eat?" From there she'd hopefully be able to respond by pointing to what she wanted. He wished that she'd be able to eventually overcome her problems with communication, as it made life rather difficult for the both of them.. but Kiyoshi loved her and was willing to go through any problems she had. Its amazing what love could do.. although the love Kiyoshi had for her wasn't exactly just sibling love.

Like usual : she could tell the worried look in his eyes, even as he kept glancing to her. The blonde however, couldn't find the will to say something to comfort him. And once in the kitchen, she was faced with another daily challenge : deciding food. However, like always, she failed in this. Once she guided him into the kitchen, the girl stopped, and didn't even point at food, and just sat at the table. This was also daily : he would try to get her to point and say what she wanted : sometimes she could, often times she couldn't. It was that ever present wall that locked the girl in her mind, as her fingers started to arrange the piles of coins that were always present on the table. She had put them there, and organizing, re-organizing and then re-re-organizing whilst he would prepare something. It was difficult : she had to organize them, and once or twice was never enough. But Rizoku felt her headache leave : yet there was a pressure in behind her eyes, as if something was waiting to explode. The girl just waited, her head lowered so that her hair covered her face, slowly working on the coins.

She should feel sad, but the girl just felt the frustrations of being trapped like this. Many would look onto this and call it pathetic : and pitiable. But Rizoku understood that less : and yet at the same time, she hated it. She wasn't unhappy : she had a brother that loved her. Sometimes, she knew he had to wonder how she did anything without him : much less go to school or what she did whilst he worked. It seemed to Rizoku, that people were in the way. People were her limits : but she loved her brother dearly. She understood that. The twinkling of coins stopped : unusual in it's highest, the sound of scrapping chair also echoed. Another twinkling sound, as should Kiyoshi see, coins were floating around her hands. Without warning, she waved it, and with a darting impact, embedded themselves in the wall. Her eyes were closed, as if she was beating off a headache : anyone with spirit sight would notice the Plus running out of there.

The girl collapsed back into the chair, her body a bit limp as she breathed in and out heavily.

Something wasn't right it seemt. She wasn't quite able to answer his question even through pointing. He had to again feel the sad reality of her problems with communication. It was very depressing for him and it was something he had to endure through on a daily basis. Painful indeed it was, especially giving his feelings for her went just beyond the norm of siblings. She didn't know this yet, but Kioyshi had felt it for a really long time. Not to mention the responsibility he felt by having to look after her cause their parents were gone. In this situation, he felt kinda worried cause couldn't respond to him. He then tried to speak to her again to see if he could catch a response. "Imouto-chan are.. you okay..?" but suddenly then, the coins went to the wall as suddenly a plus ran out the room but what was more concerning to Kiyoshi was his imouto chan as usual. She then collpased back onto her chair.

Kiyoshi went to hug her tightly, suddenly very concerned, looking her into the eyes. "Imouto-chan... please tell me your okay.. blink if your okay.. just give me a sign that youre actually fine.. I feel so worried about you!" The paranoia of something happening to his imouto was something that plagued him a lot. He just wanted her to be happy and able to things. His feelings were always so much deeper than a normal siblings feelings, which only made him more determined to give her one thing no matter what - love and compassion!

Didn't he understand? The girl's face was lax, but she felt a lance of irritation. Of course not. He never understood. He never looked at what she ws really saying, and just the surface. Like everyone else. She had communication issues, but she wasn't invalid! Her annoyance never broke the surface, as she just sat up into the male's hug. The girl just tilted her head, as if she was confused about his worry. The girl rose, and just went back to her coins, the sound of clinking resuming. She wished in a way, he would truly understand her some day. The girl just felt exhausted : exhausted of being by herself inside of her head. She just let the coins relax her, even getting up and pulling the ones in the wall, as if it didn't bother her she had literally just sent coin like bullets into the walls of their home. Of course she wouldn't look bothered : but she was scared. Scared of her powers.

What if this is what had killed their parents? She had never been able to show, tell or even portray to Kiyoshi what happened. And no matter what Rizoku did, he was always by her side. Did he not understand the truths? The things that really mattered? It was frustrating, but the girl couldn't do much : she was powerless to herself. She could only be broken : and the thoughts that fluttered in her mind in mere half-seconds were truths, full statements. She was advanced : and yet not. The girl had this sense of something wrong and yet nothing at all. A soft sigh left her lips, finally opening them to the air.. and she felt even more lonely. Was this how her life was going to be, forever? Cared for, unknowing of how to speak her true self? It was a sad tale.

Maybe she wished for that to change, as she stopped, knowing supper should be ready.
