Hanako Shikijou
The Bartender
At the time of the incident, Hanako was getting grocery picked up from an import shop that usually handles what she ordered from overseas. High quality food to chop, mix and stir into cuisines that her kids like, especially the meals that Koichi likes very much. Events has passed and for all that is a matter to her, she was glad to have children and the people who cared about her more than the husbands in Osaka. As the Empress of Japan, Hanako was a high valued target for those who sought power through her, but when she returns to the pub, she notices off-worldly stains on her pub and even some scratches that she is unfamiliar with. Given to her great memory and mental capabilities, it was a small feat to see what many forensic officers missed. She even notices the blood on the pavement behind her as she approaches the saloon-like swing doors with the curtains behind it. Some kind of a scuffle has happened here and Hanako was too late to prevent possible deaths. She produces a cellphone from her jean's right pocket and dials in for her old friend, Shadin Yuudeshi. "Yuudeshi-sama. It's Shikijou, Hanako. There was a scuffle at my pub. I'm going to check the kids, but can you run a replay feed over my pub from morning..." Hanako speaks into her cellphone before looking at the clock. "And before the time of this call? Thank you, and call me when you find something about it." Hanako concludes before placing the groceries onto the table that are usually for patrons to sit and discuss current events like sports in a circle. She then goes upstairs to the door of her house. What made her heart skipped was hearing crying on the other side of the doorway.

She quickly slides the key into the lock and pushes the unlocking door into the living room. She follows the crying into the children's room and bursts right into the room with a frantic look on her face. "Inuyasha, Alice, Ren, Hideki, Hikaru..." Hanako frantically takes attendance of her five children and begins her arduous task of calming them down. Whatever happened scared the kids, but Hanako is glad that they are not hurt. One by one, she picks them up and embraces them, comforting them and possibly changing their soiled diapers; all while frequently whispering to them, "It's alright, Mama's here to protect you. I know you're scared. Shh-shh-shh..."[/b] The task was done with five calmed children as Hanako takes them to the living room so she can lay back on the couch, exhausted herself out with the task that took almost ten minutes if not an hour perspective to Hanako's shortwhile stress. As the kids are speaking to each other and finding something to play to, Hanako sits on the leather couch with a thump, as the weight of her fatigue pushes her on her shoulders. Her legs slightly spread out because it was comfortable and she was wearing shorts underneath her leather miniskirt. Her arms resting and nestling in the ditch between her couch's backbone and cushion. Breathing slowly, she wishes that she can have a cup of coffee, even though her strength was--for awhile--drained.

She cranes her neck back and closes her eyes to enter a mental trance that takes her to a world where she was the little girl in the meadow with her father and mother; both such caring parents. Suddenly, Hanako remembers about the groceries! Hanako gets up with revitalized strength and walks to the door. She turns her head to the kids and says to them, "I'll be right back; Mama's being silly and left groceries downstairs!" Hanako speaks before putting her right hand over her mouth as the kids mimic her with basic motor skills applied with effort before they giggle. Hanko walks out the door and closes the door, sure the lock will keep the kids from opening the door, along with the notion that they cannot reach the doorknob yet to pull the door open instead of pushing it. Going to the table with her groceries on it, she notices one thing that is out of place, a camcorder that she recognizes to belong in the electronic store that she passes by to the import store. It must be the same thing because when she was returning, she saw the store wrecked! Sure there are gang activities, but that is nowhere near the pub, so she was not worried before. She picks up the groceries and the camcorder before going back upstairs. Slide the lock and entering, Hanako noticed the kids watching their television programs that are for small children. Hanako smiles at the sight of such intelligence at the infants' age. They are twins of five or "quints," so they are of same age and have the same date of birth. Above all, she loves them all.

It takes her a while to put the food away and after that, she takes the camcorder to her bedroom as she looks through its content. Some of its memory bank was filled in with one video. With the viewing screen opened and illuminating her face, she bears witness to the video's content. The sight of it was a group of demons driving out a few humans while torturing a group of soul reapers. The screams are muffled as the room's door was shut because Hanako does not want the kids to hear the video at all. Breathing hard in pain, fear and anger, Hanako bears the sight of the Shinigami "being punished" and threatened by the demonic war-band.

"Let this moment be a lesson to you punks yeah we let you live but try beating a half demon and his family like that again.....You going six feet under....I'll make sure to send your asses to my domain once I've finished taking your souls and your zanpakutos better yet...I'm taking them now...." One of the demons stated, possibly the leader of the war-band. Hanako continues watching the film as the war-band clearly are at her pub! These screams are what scared the children! Then the message comes up from the war-band leader, "Yeah the Lords of Chaos are back bitches we fixed up Hanako's pub a place where senior citizens, rich ass people go to have a good time you know what I mean...Yeah Kade Hiroshima in the flesh yeah didn't think I come back did ya a certain ziamichi didn't whoop my as didn't he...and..oh yeah my message......This lovely establish known as Hanako's pub is actually the Player Club in disguise and Hanako your friend and mine yet the customer is always right like the price will help you 24/7 all your poledancing desires....Man I do know how Koichi allowed her at TV show premiere anyway...Dark Kade keeping it real" The poor woman's heart rate slows down as she breathes smoothly, yet figuratively the bedroom is now on fire with Hanako's silent rage.

Throughout history, a loud rage can be intimidating, but a quiet one is always fatal. Why would she take the insults like that when these clowns called her a whore without saying the word and on top of it, saying as if they are telling the truth. They crossed the line and Hanako feels like asking Shadin and Koichi to find the bastards and prove to them that they are small time compare to what Hanako faced at Osaka. She pulls out the P.A.C.K. and digitizes the camcorder into the device for storage and stashes the device into her pocket. Then she trades the P.A.C.K. for the cellphone to call two people. "Yuudeshi-sama. Look into my P.A.C.K. Account for a camcorder that was recently added to my inventory; it will explain a lot while I go after the bastards." Hanako calls Shadin before she dials for the second person while walking to through the living room and passing the kids. "Kabuto. I need you to enter my house and take care of the kids. Something came up and I'm heading off immediately to find out what." Hanako speaks to the cellphone as she goes through the pub with the doors locked and secured to the point that only Kabuto and Koichi are able to enter. She stashes it and walks into the alleyway where her hover bike can be found. She then pulls out P.A.C.K. again to holo-graphically conjure a wristband that is used to enhance her spiritual nodes, thus allowing her to see spirits and hear spirits without needing the Emperor's Signet Ring. After stashing the P.A.C.K., Hanako starts up her hover bike and lifts off the ground before shooting off into the sky. Usually, Shadin can pick up the hover bike's presence like finding the sun in broad daylight; it does not matter, the bastards will have to come back out to try that damn trick again!

Hanako Shikijou Junior
The Bartender

During her flight on her hover bike, she feels a buzz from her wristband underneath her right wrist. The buzz travels up along her forearm, which is a signal to Hanako that something was following her. Then she hears a fleet of air distortion beside her followed by a bark and the unsheathing of a dagger. Hanako looks to her right and notices a dog with a Zanpakutō. The reason that she can see the dog was because of her wristband that is stimulating her permanently damaged spiritual/chi nodes, amplifying her sensitivity to spiritual activities and allowing her to see spiritual entities. Relatively new to Hanako to see one while it is new to the dog about her hover bike. Knowing that the Shinigami are her mutual allies (as along she does not interfere with Shinigami Business,) Hanako can trust that the dog will be helping her along the way. “You want to help me with this problem? Then expect some trouble and the Vanguard would want the culprit apprehended and not dead. I too have questions for him.” Hanako briefs the dog before she can feel a big buzz on her wristband that starts underneath her wrist and travels along the outer edges of her hand leading to her pinky. In Hanako’s mental translation, it is at surface level and a shy to the right of her current point of direction. Hanako stops her hover bike, and by its namesake, the hover bike stops in mid-air and refuses to plummet to the ground like the older ancestors of its model, the Rocket Bikes. She points her fist around that general location, using the wristband as a spiritual metal detector. At one point, the wristband buzzes all around her wrist and hand, a strong indication that the new entity is there at the alleyway, where no one else would have seen them unless they are directly above the location, have sensory of a Shinigami Captain, or be earshot of the location. It can be these methods or having a handy device that can detect spiritual levels with malleable indications. The cheat of it all was the Yuudeshi Network, which augmented folks like Shadin Yuudeshi can just see everything they put their mind in, though the thought would be uncomfortable for women when they take showers, but peeping toms usually get a nasty augmentation “failure” from the team of the network who are keeping tabs on people’s preferences like privacy and exposures. Hanako looks at the dog and says, “Handle damage control and I’ll see about arresting the culprit. I’ll whistle for you if I’m in deep trouble.” Hanako notifies the Shinigami dog, seeing that everytime a demon came up, people will be in a panic and things will be broken. Demons are nothing but trouble when they are twisted manifestations of sin and debauchery, though Koichi proven that not all demons are that bad, they can choose to direct their manifested mandibles to a more moral-driven goal.

Hanako tips her bike forward and hits the accelerator, shooting down to the general location where she notices a female Shinigami entering the alleyway. Hoping the dog will make sure the parameter is cleared to avoid likely collaterals upon civilian populous; the skilled bounty hunter hovers over the gap and uses her cellphone to amplify the audio reception in the alleyway. That way, she knows if there is something else at play or the female Shinigami is bound to get mauled by the culprit. With her sharp eyes, she depicts the entity is the leader from earlier, the one who slandered her and her establishment. Despite her rage, her professionalism is near-absolute as she will prefer him alive because in her past, she faced many deaths and was permanently scarred by the sheer quantity of deaths around her. He was on the walls, waiting for the Shinigami to cross his path and as she does, the demon war-band leader drops in and snags the woman by her hair. Very typical for bad guys to go for the locks of any woman’s hair as by average, their hair are long enough to be “very handy” for attackers. "Some fucking Shinigami, me, and my friend fought not too long ago. We stopped them from attacking some half demons. Now, you’re going to tell me..... Why? Those half demons are maybe worthless for us, demons, but we still give a damn about them.... Now, why was the Soul Society attacking half demons, who just want to live normal lives?" The war-band leader interrogates the female Shinigami. Seeing that it is more than it meets the eyes, Hanako keeps gathering information until there is nothing to milk from this opportunity. "Okay! Alright... I'll talk... Okay, it was Shaw.... Shaw Iramasha; one of (Koichi's) guards. He puts out the hits on these half demons. That’s the Iramasha you want.... I'm sorry, but a few Shinigami went a little crazy, thinking they were better than the Captain Commander by doing things on their own...... Shaw Iramasha wanted the bounty placed on several demons just to make himself look good, knowing full well his butt is in trouble..... (Once decades ago, some members of the demon race were helping the Iramasha Clan..... Shaw hated that he just maybe one of the Iramasha, who are responsible for ending the peace treaty between demons and members of both the Soul Society and the Iramasha Clan)..... I'm so... so sorry (some unseated members actually killed a human)... after I finished killing a hollow." The Shinigami answers to the war-band leader with fear deep in her tone. The questionable standing was the knowledge that Shinigami woman holds was something unheard of, especially for the well-informed individuals like Koichi and Ketsu. Peace Treaty? The Iramasha Clan and the Demon World are mutual enemies, because of Shadow Fall with the Iramasha Clan’s deep enemy faction, the Kokuryuteshi on their alliance list. If it was something like that, even Kabuto, her children’s caretaker and Koichi’s best friend would know about it and note her about it ahead of time since her encounter with Eric Zarathos.

As the Shinigami Woman flees, Hanako sees that woman being a suspect of memory alterations. She veers the bike to the side and races off to find the woman. While following her, Hanako produces a disc that is a metalogical weapon used to put spirits under neural stasis or in layman’s terms, paralysis while it can disrupt a superhuman’s connection to their soul, thus shutting down their powers until the disc was removed. Like a shuriken, she whips the disc swiftly, having it cut through the air like hot katana blade on whipped cream until it slaps onto the Shinigami’s back. Once connected, the disc proceeds to connect its first two prongs into her back, thus paralyzing one half of her body. The disc adjusts itself to slap the other two prongs into her back. With the disc laying flat on her back, the four prongs paralyzes her entire body through a regular pulse of delta wave in short intervals, provoking a deep, dreamless sleep until it is removed. With the Shinigami Woman under arrest, Hanako lands her hover bike near the Shinigami Woman and dismounts her hover bike upon landing. She then walks over to the sleeper and adjusts her head to check her face. Since she mentioned that she was hunting hollows, she could be a seated member to have done it on her own. The Thirteen Court Guards will not allow unseated members to do so alone and only four hundred years ago, it is documented that one unseated Shinigami, Rukia Kuchiki was tasked with being the watchman of Karakura Town and that is the only known unseated member to be tasked with something left to a lieutenant or a high seated officer. Hanako picks up the woman with mild effort since usually spirits are lighter because they don’t have a physical mass; they have spiritual mass measured in pressure and presence. After placing her front-side down onto the back of her hover bike. The only way to remove the disc was to press it down and let it pop off. She mounts the hover bike again and hovers short off the ground and glides down the alley to confront the war-band leader.

Upon arrival, the hover bike usually gives off a faint hum as she lands it softly onto the pavement and dismounts it. “You’re the one who filmed the beat-down and the slandering about me and my establishment. ‘Keeping it real’ is just pathetic for an excuse for saying that I am a pin-up floosy. Koichi would have slaughtered you and feed your corpse to the hounds. I am more merciful, so you can count yourself lucky. You’re under arrest for vigilante pursuit, disruption of peace, and for intrusion of hostile territories. You have the rights to remain silent, you have the rights to an attorney, you have the rights to an appeal, you have the rights for civil treatment in custody and you have the rights to request protection from custody. All things you say and do will be recorded and may be held against you in the court of law.” Hanako speaks to the leader as she slips out her gloves from the pockets of her belt-apron and slips on the left glove, before she recites the rights as she slips on the right gloves. Cautiously, she readies herself for any surprise attacks or frontal assault from the leader. If the demon was smart and vigilant about his interests and the interests of the demon world, he should take the arrest into consideration and take it. But demons are unpredictable, so the proverb, “Expect the Unexpected,” comes to mind far before she confronts him. “The woman there is under arrest for suspicion of compromising security of Soul Society and Karakura Central, but be at ease for she will be alright in our care. Same will be for you if you cooperate.” Known only to Hanako and those who are close to her, these gloves may appear to be black leather gloves, but they are metalogically synthesized gloves, so where it can shutdown powers of superhumans, it can disrupt the spiritual body, thus in simple terms, harms the spirits. Since demons are semi-ethereal (spirits that can become physical freely,) the gloves can do one way or another, meaning it can hurt the demon if he becomes a spirit while it can shutdown his abilities if he becomes physical.
