Song: Bach Little Fugue in G Minor - Artist: Catherine OST - Words: 1265

It appeared that it was yet another bleak day within the lands of Hueco Mundo. The sky was black, the air was still and the ever present moon shined brightly below the city's beastly inhabitants. It was really the perfect setting for such a place with it's medieval charms. So, with the lore of Thanatos Centro, another monster, or rather, monsteress of the night had steadily began to make her way into this world. Following her own bizzare Shadow World which allowed this creature of the night to travel the inter-dimensional seas of darkness, she had eventually tunneled her way through the abyss to find herself emerging inside the place known as Hueco Mundo. Or rather, to be more specific, the city of Thanatos Centro that is contained within this realm which belonged entirely to that of the Hollow and Arrancar races. Either way, this creature, no, this Demoness had been rather happy to be here. There was someone this Demon had hoped to seek and was going to have a bit of fun getting there.

Emerging out of a pool of liquid comprised entirely of the black shadow's which loomed in one of the many back alley's of Thanatos Centro, The Queen of Demon's had steadily began to materialize into this dark world. "It's time to seek dear sister out." A smirk upon her lips, she knew just what she came here to do. It was time to meet the Queen of Hollow's once again and set-up a play date with her to catch up on things. It had really been awhile since the two of these 'gals had caught up. Through all the work in managing Shadow Fall, securing her place as Queen of Demon World, constantly doing battle with the special forces on Earth who dare impose her will and just plotting all around; Mana really hadn't had time to catch up with her dear, sweet Ashlei. So, today would be a special session between the duo of Royal Queen's. One leading the never ending supply of Hollow's from the night, and the other leading the ever expanding masses of beast known as Demon's.

Thus, baring all that in mind, Mana knew that the moment she found Ashlei? Ohohohoho, it wasn't going to be fun for anyone near them. This was because once Mana was able to track down Ashlei's location, she had intended to formulate some sort of play-date in either the Living World or Soul Society for the two of them to catch up, have some laughs and really enjoy themselves at the expense of innocent people's lives. And with that said, what was the play session going to consist of? Hehe, the plan would be to have a massive free-for-all amongst all those whom are apart Shadow Fall, The Asthavon Family or The Mischevang Family. All those who were willing to participant in this game would gather a city of Mana or Ashlei's choosing, assemble on the outskirts of the dwelling and then be informed of the rules of this brilliant adventure. It was going to be an all out jesting match for all those who dare to enter the city's limits to see who could cause the most amounts of destruction, chaos, devastation, death and overall domination of the city in Shadow Fall's name.

There would be points for landmarks destroyed, amounts of people killed, time bonuses, property claimed, people enslaved, those turned into demon's and all the other side missions that would be thought out later when this mission was further thought out upon meshing her idea's together with Ashlei. Smiling a bit, the primary objective for Mana, personally, would be to just strengthen the bond between them by sipping the blood of all their enemies, all those who oppose them and all those who they would otherwise desire to see dead, moaning on the floor in agony and at the very mercy of The Chaotic Sisters overwhelming power. Just thinking about that apocalyptic scene brought giggles to Mana's face; beaming down the street with a cheery smile, skipping without a care in the world as people around her began to gawk, stare and otherwise be amazed that The Queen of Demon's had spontaneously appeared in Hueco Mundo. Meaning, that the feats of Mana's power and might were even felt all the way out here in these dead wastelands.

Yet, Mana had no time to indulge on the attention she was receiving. Nay, it was time to reach out to Ashlei's hand. Taking a massive leap forward, she began to flap her batty wings and charge forward towards a one of the tallest clock tower within the city; releasing a witch's cackle throughout the lands to flaunt off her jovial mood. And, from this display, you can see that with anything Queen Mana does? It's never anything ordinary or civil like. During her rush towards the clock tower, there had been a strange mist of green energy radiating from upon Mana's body. The faster she flew? The more this streak seemed to eclipse over the city until hundreds of bats starting scattering throughout the city; sending chunks of Mana's power throughout all of it's orifices for dear ol' Ashlei to sense if she had happened to be within the infamous metropolis built by hollow hands.

Once this display had been set for all those whom were in the urban limits, The Queen took a pleasant look backwards to view the scenery as she chuckled ever-so lightly. Holding out her hands, she'd then clench each of her fist in order to gain control over the streaks of energy she had left in her trail. Now, with the bats covering nearly every square inch of the city, this energy would shoot up into the heavens themselves. What was once a never ending sea of darkness in the skies, was now being transformed into a never-ending series of green clouds throughout most of Thanatos Centro. Yet, this wasn't over just yet. Descending from the eye of the storm, a strong lance of white mist struck down into the middle of town and began to spread throughout the city; giving it a misty skyline as some were taken a bit back by it. Sighing in content, the change would finally be over. The difference in scenery pleased Mana, and knew, if Ashlei was near-by, she'd instantly come to discover the change in her lovely city. Then, by losing herself in this miasma of power, she would know just who to seek out: Queen Mana herself.

So, standing ever so triumphantly upon that tower, Mana awaited the arrival of Ashlei; eyes illuminating brightly within the mist with that devilish smile of hers. For today was going to be filled with pleasure, pain, rejoice, excitement and a sense of coming together. It made Mana's heart beat with joy, her body shiver in anticipation and her mind race with a million different thoughts of the possible outcomes that could occur today. "Come, sister. Come find me. Come and find me so we can play, and play and play throughout the shadow's of this dark night. Join me in the binds of darkness, spread our twisted sensation of harmony throughout the world. Watch as the world quivers to it's feet, bows before us and let me show you the depth of our affection towards one another. Seek me out, hurry. Just seek me out!" And with that, Mana put her self at an end; closing each of her eyes with a soft smile upon her face as she awaited the hopeful arrival of Ashlei Mischevang.

Out of all the places to find a devil, one might imagine that a city built and inhabited by monsters would be the ideal location. And yet, for the infamous Diablo Cortar, "The Cutting Devil", such a place earned naught but disdain. For an Arrancar, Diablo had an unusual loathing for essentially all other Hollow; a fact that kept most from ever approaching him. Well, perhaps "loathing" was too intense of a word; not because of any consideration on this devil's part, but because without emotions, how could one truly hate something? Either way, it was an unusual occurrence to find Diablo in a place such as Thanatos Centro, essentially the heart of Hollows living in Hueco Mundo. Then again, it had been a rather unusual time in general, and even a devil such as Diablo had questions in need of answers. Luckily, however, for the antisocial Arrancar, the legends of him were still quite well in circulation within Hueco Mundo, and none of the other Hollow dared approach him in fear of becoming his newest art supplies.

Of course, there was still the question of exactly what answer Diablo was "hoping" to find here in Thanatos Centro; though its answer required a bit of history. Recently, the Queen of the Hollows, Ashlei, had been absent from her usual position of leading Shadow Fall alongside Mana and Abaddon. Having served under Ashlei as her Segunda Espada back when the Espada was still a separate entity, Diablo, the devil lacking emotions was oddly enough her most loyal follower. Hell, the only reason Diablo was even a member of Shadow Fall now was because he had followed Ashlei as she chose to unite the Hollows and Demons with Mana, despite any personal reservations he might have had. While the actual reasons behind why Diablo was Ashlei's most loyal follower and had remained at her side despite his own personality were a mystery, they did not affect the current situation any. The simple matter was that something was wrong with the Hollow's Queen, and it was his duty to find the issue and "correct" it.

As such, Diablo had traveled to Thanatos Centro to try and find any clues to Ashlei's current problem. While he knew for the most part where she was, Ashlei had threatened against anyone trying to disturb her; a threat that extended to Diablo as well. While he didn't necessarily mind being given orders for a month, Diablo knew that there was something wrong with Ashlei, and for some reason "felt" compelled to do something about it. To be honest, something had changed inside him after the brief interaction Diablo had with Ashlei a short while before the Espada had merged with Shadow Fall; though externally nothing was different about the devil. It was not the sort of change that had any real impact upon his character, but more one that affected his internal thoughts. These thoughts, however, were soon interrupted by an unusually strong presence entering the city.

While most within the city would have had to actually see the owner of the presence to notice it, Diablo's senses were astute enough to not only notice the presence, but also pinpoint its location as well as whose it was. Then again, Diablo had felt this presence many times before thanks to the owners closeness to Ashlei, so determining their identity was not much of a feat. While he normally kept his distance from those with such a strong presence, especially those as... unpredictable as Mana whom he currently sensed, the fact that it was Mana did give him a reason to approach; if anyone were to know more about Ashlei, it would be her. Of course, despite actually having a reason to approach her, Diablo was still just as wary of the prospect, and in the time he took contemplating, the little "show" Mana put on for her entrance swept through Thanatos Centro. While he could hear the sounds of astonishment around, Diablo's own reaction was, well, as blank as always. He honestly did not care at all for grand, dramatic entrances, and neither did he get affected by such things. Still, with his mind made up, Diablo turned to face the direction Mana had gone in, and in the next second was gone; using Sonido to quickly travel to his destination.

With the distinctive boom of a sonido, Diablo appeared behind Mana atop the clock towed, arriving it time to witness her small monologue. "...también busca... señorita Mischevang?" He asked Mana in Spanish, neither his tone nor facial features showing even the smallest hint of any emotion. While he knew the distinctive presence of Mana's energy through her interactions with Ashlei, Diablo himself had never technically "met" the demoness herself. Then again, seeing as he served as the Archduke of the Ninth Circle of Shadow Fall and only ever really showed any consideration in front of Ashlei, he did not see the need to introduce himself. Of course, after his few words, Diablo once again returned to silence, standing motionlessly behind Mana as he awaited her response.

~Diablo's Fun Translation Time!~

"...también busca... señorita Mischevang?" = "...you too seek... señorita Mischevang?"

1 Month Before present day

It was a very solemn, peaceful day in Hueco Mundo. Everyone was getting on with their business in an orderly manner. Most people were smiling; grinning because they had something to be happy about. The people of the city were thriving as they carried their burdens with ease, and walked on in hope of a better future. However, one reason why everything felt so happy, was because of a single person. That person being of some importance to the people around her. This certain 'girl' was actually skipping through the city as if she had no care in the world. Her dress flailed madly and she didn't care if people saw up it. She was too happy to worry about that. Skipping on, she quickly made it out of the city and to the outskirts of town where the desert began. Kicking off the sandy earth, she propelled herself in some crazy spiral towards Las Noches: her special base of operations. She loved her home and didn't want anything bad to ever happen to it. Continuing her happy rampage through the skies, she landed toes first onto the roof of Las Noches' dome and sat down. Arms holding her body up, she looked up at the worlds moon and smiled, recollecting the recent events that had happened to her. Soon, a whole hour had passed where she had simply stared at the moon. Rapidly, she became tired and when she becomes tired, her mood usually slurs. Oddly, it didn't. She got up, brushed herself down and slowly lowered herself onto a balcony of which to open the door and walk right through somebodies quarters to get back to the main halls. The man inside was half dressed but didn't react badly. Just smiled and waved at her as she waddled past in a sleepy yet excited daze. Finally making it to her own chambers, the girl lifted her hands to the rather large white doors and pushed them both. They swung open, bashing into the walls that held them, almost cracking. She tried to skip into the room but felt tired so decided against trying too hard. She turned and pushed the doors back into place before wandering over to her bed. It was huge. More than a king side and built for a queen. Well, that would make sense. She was a queen after all. She slowly began to remove the dress she was wearing, throwing it into a pile in the corner of the room and adjusting herself. However, before she could do anything else, a voice whispered to her in an untranslatable tongue. Turning quickly, she looked towards her door. Nobody was there.

“Assshhhhleeeeiiii....” The whisper could be heard again. Faint. Sounded like a womans soft voice almost reminiscent to... Ashlei held onto her head, swaying lightly as she thought about it. But then, the voice came again. “Where are you?...” She looked around again. Nothing was in the room, but something was talking to her and it sounded just like... just like her... Everything went silent. She removed her hands from her head and stared on at the door, almost frightened. Blaming it on her lack of sleep, she turned back towards her bed. However, what she was did manage to scare her. A red and white blur shot towards her screaming “ASHLEI!” and as soon as it hit, everything went black.

Two days later

The floor was cold. The wind running through the corridors had blown its way into the room of the Cero Espada. What had happened, has forced a change unto the girl. What could be seen here, was a floor that used to be white now painted with one gigantic blood splat with a body laying in the middle. The body itself was only half covered in red, but the signs of tearing at the body were visible. Her arms wrapped around her shoulders, clinging on so tightly that it could be the only reason as to why she was covered in knife deep scratches. Her door, had managed to slowly swing open and in the time she had been asleep, people had not even noticed as they walked by. This sort of behaviour from Ashlei was normal. However this time, it felt different for her. She was imagining things. Without any warning, her eyes shot open and her body jolted up into a sitting position. What little underwear she had left on two nights ago was now cut to shreds by her own fingers nails digging into her body and fell off her as she tried to move. The first thing she thought about, was how long she was asleep for. Pulling herslef onto her feet, she slowly wriggled over to a dresser. Looking through some possessions, she came across a few ways to tell the time: watches, magical items etc. Realising two days had passed, Ashlei showed some amount of fear.

“Wh-what happened to me?” As she thought about it, all she could remember was faces in her dreams and a burning sensation all over her body. Looking down, she could understand why she felt that. Most of her was still dripping red and entirely nude. Just then, a loud bang came from the door as a single Arrancar stood in the slightly open right door. He looked around for a moment trying to spot the woman. Noticing her, he bowed and then began to ask her a question. However, all words that tried to leave his mouth became a blurr themselves as Ashlei couldn't hear it. She looked towards him, disoriented and drained of life. His smiled faded and looked more worried than before. Ashlei struggled, but released a few words from her breath.

“Go... away. If anybody....any...person...comes in here... I'll personally....tear them apart....” The male raised an arm as though he was about to step forward but Ashlei cut him off before he could move. Screaming with all her might, she yelled “GO!” before turning away and falling down in front of her bed. The male vanished quickly, slamming the door behind him and vanishing from sight. Ashlei however, lay up against her bed, still slowly pulling herself towards it to at least lay down on something comfortable. Ashlei knew the way to solve this was easy. She could just drink some blood right? That wasn't going to happen this time. She tried constantly as she was awake, to drain the blood from the floor but it didn't move. Her reitsu was too drained at this point to move it. Laying flat out on her bed and looking up to the ceiling, she tried to make sense of everything. Where could she get some blood without dying? The vials she had were all on her dresser. Why didn't she pick them up and drink them? Maybe.... she didn't want to. Or maybe...because...

she couldn't...

Laying there, she became almost lifeless. If it wasn't for her imagination she may have fallen back to sleep. However, things began to move. She could feel something stroking her thigh and moving up closer to her. She couldn't look down to see who it was: she had no energy. The feeling moved past her waist and up her body where the owner of the hand had climbed into view on top of Ashlei. This managed to shock her, as what she was looking at was herself. An exact copy of Ashlei was laying on top of her, smiling down with her usual happy smile. She moved her head down towards the real girls neck, lapping at her veins and tasting the blood. The victims eyes widened as she moved closer. If she looked the same, maybe she acted the same. Ashlei could be in a lot of danger but she couldn't scream now. She had no voice. The copy opened her mouth bearing her fangs as if she was about to sink them right into Ashleis neck, but what stopped it was a sudden distortion. The copy's body changed quickly in the blink of an eye and had moved to a normal laying position above her. The only difference this time, was that it wasn't Ashlei: It was Miku. Laying directly on her, with no eyes other than dripping red sockets. Miku wasn't smiling, she looked like she should be in tears but could no longer cry. She faced Ashlei of whom was now trembling. Her entire body shaking wildly as she was pinned to the bed. Miku opened her mouth, silently said a few words for Ashlei to hear. “Why did you kill me?...”

Suddenly, Miku was gone, and Ashleis head was grabbed from the side and yanked to look at something else. This time, it was Rihiku clutching her skull and staring into her eyes. He spoke much more clearly than the others. “Whats wrong my lady? Are you feeling unwell?” Ashlei simply stared. She could do nothing more as the rihiku figure began to change again but this time, not touching Ashlei. Sitting on her dresser was another woman. Ashlei could tell who it was right away. Red hair, familiar body and pose. That face... Ashlei tried to mouth the word “mother” but as soon as she did, the figure changed to a different woman: white hair, armoured but still showing a lot of skin. She got up and walked over to Ashlei, resting her hand on her forehead. “How're you feeling honey?” This woman... who was she? She held onto Ashleis shoulders now, and in one swift movement slammed the espada into the bed frame behind her. Making no sound, Ashlei tried to wince but what was now holding her was yet another familiar face. Black hair, white shirt...blue jeans... “Hello there sis...” Ashlei looked at him, scared out of her mind to a point where she couldn't help but start crying. The male figure held her close. “Aww, don't cry little sis. Your alright. Everyones here. See!” The male was obviously referencing to all the differint figures now standing around the bed each resembling somebody Ashlei had hurt in her time. She looked towards them, all with sad expressions on her face including her own mother. The male however, climbed onto the bed and pressed his forehead against hers. Ashlei fell down but the male didn't let up. Getting as close as he could, he screamed directly at her face in a devilish laughter. Ashlei, returned with her own scream....

...then everything went black again.

Present Day

The doors to Ashleis chambers remain closed... it has been a whole month since she vanished...

Emotions and anger will cloud your judgement. Always remember that....

War's words to her echoed through her mind again as a mysterious fiery comet shot through the skys of Hueco Mundo. It was such an out of the ordinary occurance that one could not help but notice it, just as one could not help but notice the outpouring of energy in the hollow metropolis. The very city itself was an almost sickening display of power over the lands of Hueco Mundo, but not as much as the power that now called from it.

War dashed over the city quickly, the fires around him leaving a smoke trail high in the sky. Upon his back sat possible the most upset person ever to exist in Hueco Mundo, and that is saying something. Flea was an Ashlei's girl through and through, and the last couple of months had seen her change from a noble knight, a quivering ball of sadness, and now a flame of revenge. Her energy could pass as her archnemesis, Radioactive, if it were not mixed with her own energy.

At the moment, however, that energy that had been absorbed from her fights with Radioactive was on full display. It encircled her like a cloak, hiding her true self under a mask. Under her armor, her body was shaking with rage and sadness at the missing of her beloved sister. Her sanity had also taken a hit when Ashlei went missing. She was in an extreem depression that was only alieved, for a short time, by pain and misery. Either her own or others.

It was a move faster than the mind could think, like an animalistic reflex. Even War, one of the fastest being around could not catch it before it had happened. The grand clock tower of the city of hollows had been split in two, the stone, wood and metal of its construct flying in infinate directions. Several hollows who had simply been observing the girl atop the tower were impaled by peices of it. A gear spun down like a lighting fast top, slicing several buildings apart before coming to rest in a crater some 500 feet away. At the bottom of the now crumbling clock tower was a knight wearing the crest of Ashlei, and if one could see her eye's they would see a sad fury that could soften the heart of even the badest of asses.

''Give....her back....Give....her back...''

Before anything else could happen, War was there to knock Flea down and turn to the one's left.

''Nayyyy...they not be enemies little one. We are all allies here.''

He would turn to look at the ones left with a stern look, a request not to attack of continue hostilities with a simple glance.

Song: Koishi Komeiji's Heart Throbbing Adventure - Artist: Unknown - Words: 2156

Ah, it seemed as if everything was finally beginning to come together towards the reunion of the Mana Ashtavon and Ashlei Mischevang. With the Queen of Demon's influence beginning to spread rampant throughout the lands, so did her shadow's. Thus, with her power commencing to clasp upon the edges of this world, she was scanning the entirety of Hueco Mundo to pin-point the location of her dear sister. Through every corner, every nook, every crany, every home, every shadow; all of had been thoroughly inspected upon by Queen Mana until she had, at long last, found an exact location of where Ashlei Clixx may be. Smiling very wickedly, Mana seemed very pleased with the discovery. Thus, by tapping into the shadow world, a realm in which she formulated through her own powers that subjugated the darkness itself, she began to get a direct view towards the chamber in which Ashlei had managed to entrap herself within. After all, with The Queen's control of shadow's and power beginning to mend Hueco Mundo itself to Mana's will? A feat such as this becomes very simple to and very simple to travel through.

"Worry not, my dear sister. I'll be the one to awaken you from the slumber. I've seen all that has plagued you and wish to liberate you from that pain." The calming voice of a familiar feminine cohort echoed throughout the empty enclosure that was Queen Ashlei's chamber. By utilizing the particles of darkness on a metaphysical level, she was able to then begin to use her magical arts in order to begin to tap into the power of the past to observe what had occurred within this horrid cavity throughout the past month. This was established simply by Mana connecting, syncing and harmonizing with the shadow's and supernatural forces that exists within the universe. By calling upon this sort of vivacity that exists within the known realms, she possessed a multitude of particles that had been within the same room as Ashlei. They were within the realm of The Queen's subjection by being covered within the darkness of the room. Thus, by using magic as the key connection and becoming one with the particles in this dwelling, she began to reverse the flow of time that these atom's had observe and proceed to have all the events that had transpired within this room be streamed into Mana's mind.

Meanwhile, as an external piece the Queen's body loomed within the shades of the shadow's that binded to Queen Ashlei's living quarters, the original Mana, whom was standing within the clock tower of Thanatos Centro, had began to swiftly realize that she had attracted more attention then she'd previously thought. Chuckling a bit, The Queen was pleased at some of the people that had started to gather and travel towards the central location of her ever alluring power. One of the first beings to arrive on the scene was apparently Diablo Corter. Being able to track his movements throughout the city something akin to child's play for Mana. Therefore, when he eventually made his pathway towards The Queen's location, she would not be surprised in the slightest, as she was monitoring every movement that a person made within the city. So long as it was within the dominion of Mana's power overflowing the city, or within the jurisdiction of the darkness itself; it was very possible for her to oversee a multitude of movements at once.

"And there is Sir Diablo. Quite a pleasure to make your acquaintance here, dontcha think, Sugah?" Spoke Mana, just a few moments before Diablo had managed to emerge behind the Queen by using the Arrancar's infamous Soindo technique in order to do so. Snickering to herself a bit, Mana had decided to listen to what the Archduke had to say before realizing something...this guy was speaking entirely in Spanish. Sighing a bit, Mana knew there would have to be some sort of backwoods method in order to translate what this just said. So, with her handy dandy demon prowess, she was able to conjure up a spell that was able to access a vast stream of knowledge from the digital world; otherwise known as the information highway that is the internet. Then, by tapping into that river of substance, The Queen utilized it like minicomputer to transfer the data from every bit of Spanish in the cyberworld and then release it externally in the material world around Mana. By doing so, she was then able to place an additional magical spell in order to have the entire area essentially be an "English-Only" zone. Meaning, any bit of Spanish that came out of Diablo's mouth? Heh, it would be translated easily into English and very easy for Mana to understand; seeing how she is only proficient in English and Japanese languages.

"There, now talk baby." Said Mana, waving her hands a bit and being whimsical about the whole ordeal. "I made this entire city an English-Only Zone and you'll be able to be better understood by those who aren't able to decipher what the hell ye' are saying!" Then, after she'd finish talking, Mana placed her index finger below her chin and exclaimed something. "Oh!" She said, seeming to remember something she'd had previously forgotten to do. "Let me run what ya' just said to me through my mind real quick, hun." Clapping her hands a bit, she applied this vast network internally and began translating what Diablo had just said to her rather easily. Next, after processing what was just said to her, Mana turned to Diablo and had her facial expression shift towards a reaction of solemness, fervor and stupor. "Ye' wish to seek out Queen Ashlei as well. Oh well, who could blame you." Laughing ever so slightly, Mana twirled, spinned and eventually came to a full stop by the time she had detected another presence quickly converging in on the area. "My dear knight of blood, let us evade an unfavorable outcome, shall we?" Nudging towards the new arrival, Mana would assume this would be more then enough warning time for someone of Diablo's caliber to avoid the destructive fate that this clock tower would soon meet at the hands of another Royal Knight.

(Change Tracks)
Yet, if he failed to take action, that would be upon his head. With a leap of whimsy, Mana disburse into a being comprised shadow's and took off like a screaming dart in a manner of milliseconds to avoid the destructive impact that Flea Mischevang had caused upon the once massive clock-tower. She was then seen re-materializing out in the misty green skies above; hovering triumphantly in the center of the ever crescent moon of Hueco Mundo with each of her arms folded and a smirk across her lips. "My, oh my. That was quite the explosive entrance, would you not agree, Sir Diablo?" Turning her head to wherever the Archduke would be standing, The Queen assumed he'd have enough skill to avoid being caught up in this miniature disaster. "And don't worry, you Chivalrous Steed, I shall not be attacking your master." Flicking her hair a bit, Mana then began to spread each of her arms out in a vertical matter. This would result in the creation of a massive gateway, one forged entirely of the shadow's Mana had control of, that seemly ripped existence itself to pieces behind Mana. With that formation of this bridge-way into the darkness itself, it inevitably formed a pathway into Las Noches and ultimately leading into the decrepit chamber in which The Queen of Hollow's had been sealed in for the past month.

"After all, I don't bother threatening or harming those whom wish to attack me," soon, the very cheery attitude Mana once displayed to all would appear to change with the next addition of this sentence; "when they haven't a ghost chance in hell in succeeding with their plans." Being slightly sinister in tone with the way she spoke to Flea and War, there was a sense of condensing at ever thinking such a direct assault would work on Mana or catch her by surprise in a city that was falling to it's knees by her power. Moreover, with the the transition in The Queen's Mood beginning to become slightly apparent, there must have been a damn good reason for her to create this gateway into the shadow's. Taking a slight glance into the portal, Mana's face seemed to grow quite cold as it seemed as if she were staring into the quiet, empty and hollow shell that is the abyss.

"...so this is all the pain you had to endure" Now, images of blackness fading out of vision, the double of Mana had began to materialize into a solid body out of the shadow's of Queen Ashlei's chamber. During the duration of time where The Queen of Demon's had dealt with Diablo, spread her influence further into the reaches of Hueco Mundo and dealt with the Flea fiasco; this Mana had been busy piecing together the pieces of the puzzle that comprised the disappearance of Ashlei Mischevang. Having all the time in the world, with a decelerated perception of time, The Queen had witnessed all the events that took place to her dear sister being after placed within a dark coma in this abysmal room. Taking a soft sigh, Mana had arisen to her feet and looked down at the unresponsive body of The Queen of Hollow's. The pangs in her heart could now turn into an agonizing fire that soared within Mana's soul as she began to realize a better depth of what Ashlei had experienced during her cavity.

Kneeling down, The Demon Queen then placed her hand upon The Hollow Queen's head; patting it ever so slightly as a soft sigh escaped her lips. "Don't worry, I will be the one to awaken you from this nightmare, dear Sister. There is no darkness that my power cannot pierce. I will cut the chains that imprison you and set you free." With that said, she'd then move on to get closer; nay, more intimate with Ashlei and embrace her in the form of a kiss. Now, at this point, to all whom would be witnessing this, it would appear as if Mana's hand had slid into Asheli's skull while kneeling down to caress her. However, it the hand simply phasing through it. What was actually occurring is that Mana was attempting to use her shadow powers, that with magic, was attempting to effect one's mind. If her plan was successful, she was going to force these fears, mental struggles, horrors, nightmares and all that which plagued Ashlei's soul into a black gem. Then, upon the creation of this gem by the two of their souls conjuring together at an impasse, she'd hope to swallow it and take on the pain herself; allowing Ashlei to awaken from her dark coma.

"Awaken, Ashlei, Awaken and come back to us once again!" Both Mana's, at this point, were in sync and spoke in unison during this speech. "Gasp, please." Tightening her grip upon Ashlei's shoulder, The Mana whom was presently in the room with The Queen of Hollow's clung to her in the form of a hug. "Scream, PLEASE!" Now, flashing back to the Mana who stood before everyone in Thanatos Centro, the pain in her face could be ever present as they screamed, radiated and burst with power as green flames shot out of The Demon Queen's eyes. "C'MON, LOUDER! I FEEL THE PAIN OF YOUR SOUL SOARING THROUGH MY VEINS! THRASH, CRY, MOAN, SCREAM! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO...!" Shouted both Mana's; putting all those who were watching this display at a lost as it was a rarity to really see Mana becoming this passionate, this serious and this dedicated to a cause. "...because it's all alright with me. I cannot be purified, so I'll serve as the source to host all your anguish, all of your abhorrence, all of your affliction's and take all this agony on for myself."

The air coming to a still, there a sense of strong resolve radiating from both Mana's; with the one who was consoling Ashlei seeming to have an even greater fire set ablaze in her left eye. "I'll let it all live inside of me. I've become one with the shadow's; so I know all too well about the shadow's which hide in a person's soul. I no longer wish to see you suffer from the darkness that afflicts your mind. And I will, I swear I will, I will liberate you from it with my bare hands." Now, with this display of raw affection set for the whole world to see, that familiar smirk of Mana's managed to creep upon her face.

"Now, then, show me your strong spirit!"

♠-A Waltz Between Martyr's Of The Night-♠ Empty Re: ♠-A Waltz Between Martyr's Of The Night-♠

While Diablo had been prepared to tell Mana that her little translation spell was unnecessary, a more... pressing matter had come up with the Arrancar currently headed towards their very location. While Diablo himself always seemed to stay as far away from combat as he was able to, this in no way meant that he was a poor combatant. If the fact that he had previously held the position of Segunda Espada was not enough of a testament to this, then perhaps the fear and rumors that still existed about him all throughout Hueco Mundo were. While Mana had felt it necessary to warn him about the incoming attack, Diablo had been able to sense the incoming presence as well before she had even spoke. However, unlike Mana, Diablo was never the "forgiving type", and though he normally abstained from fighting, were you to actually attack him, he would make sure that your life was swiftly ended. In the same amount of time it took for Mana to distance herself from the clock tower, Diablo had already drawn the Zanpakutō at his waist and held it in his right hand, ready to, well, terminate the oncoming target. Luckily for the "target", however, Diablo was able to discern its identity mere seconds before it attacked; a fact that would undoubtedly spare Flea's life. Normally, Diablo would not have cared either way, but seeing as this child was also close to Ashlei, he was going to spare her... well, at least death.

As Flea came close enough for her strike, Diablo took action; swinging his Zanpakutō full force into her attack as a sort of "counter". Of course, because of the power of both attacks, there was undoubtedly going to be some form of backlash to the surrounding area, and despite successfully countering the attack, much of the top portion of the clock tower Diablo currently stood upon was destroyed, throwing dust and debris away from the impact. However, despite the strength of his own attack, due to his horribly low durability, Diablo too received some damage from the attack. While his Zanpakutō was still held in his right hand, the rest of his arm was not in the same condition. Starting from his wrist and going up to the right side of his chest, numerous lacerations had appeared, along with multiple bone shards protruding from the flesh; an obvious sign that most every bone in his arm had been broken. And yet, despite all the damage, even as his arm looked about ready to fall off, Diablo showed no actual reaction to it at all. As he was unable to feel any pain at all, there was no amount of physical damage that would be able to deter Diablo at all, and as he had one of the best regeneration abilities of all Hollows, any damage he did suffer would be repaired in almost an instant. Of course, while normally after such a feat, Diablo would have used the blood from his own wounds to swiftly impale his attacker through the skull, because Flea was close to Ashlei, she was being shown mercy. That being said... there was still going to be some form of punishment.

Without wasting even a second, as soon as he had countered Flea's attack with his own, Diablo had produced a small, black cube from his left hand; a Caja Negación. Left over from his days as an Espada, Diablo still carried around at least one of these tools to deal with any Arrancar who annoyed him, and today it seemed to have been quite lucky; at least for Flea. With a quick scan of her body, while the debris from the clock tower were only just flying away and still hiding his movements, Diablo discerned the location of Flea's hollow hole; her right foot. Without hesitation, Diablo gripped the Caja Negación tight in his fist and literally dove his hand through the girls armored foot to reach her hollow hole. While he may not have seemed like the most physically powerful person at first glances, Diablo was indeed one of the more powerful Arrancar, and was easily able to punch with enough force to completely destroy his own entire arm. Not only that, but as his fist initially collided with the armor, his left hand and wrist began to crush, the breaking of bones cutting out through his skin and releasing his blood which he promptly used to help his punch by stabbing through the armor. Releasing the cube in her hollow hole, the Caja Negación took effect, and quickly she would have begun to be trapped within a different dimension until she was released by Diablo or Ashlei.

Taking a step back on the damaged top of the clock tower, Diablo looked up at Flea as his Caja Negación, and already the damage to both of his arms had begun to heal; finishing in only a few seconds."...this... is your punishment..." Diablo said as he sheathed his Zanpakutō, his tone just as emotionless as it had been when he had addressed Mana. Of course, despite calling it a punishment, there was actually a secondary reason as to why Diablo had chosen to seal Flea within the Caja Negación; one that no one would have suspected given Diablo's personality. Because the Caja Negación would trap Flea by herself until she was released, it meant that she would not be able to attack either Diablo or Mana while she was imprisoned. Basically, Diablo had taken this action to actually protect Flea; as if she had actually attacked himself or Mana again, there was no doubt that the both of them would have been forced to react. Looking over to the Hollow steed that had accompanied Flea, Diablo's eyes and facial features held the same lack of any emotion that his tone did. "...you may come in her place... but do not... retaliate..." he said to it before disappearing with the sound of a sonido, only to reappear in front of the gateway Mana had summoned.

Without hesitation, Diablo made his way through the gateway, once again not paying any attention to the grandiose effort put into the theatrics of Mana's actions. While he did not necessarily trust Mana, Diablo was fairly certain that this gateway lead to Ashlei's current location; mainly because he could sense her presence on the other side. Of course, while this was a portal to Ashlei's current location, said location had not been what had kept him from going to Ashlei; instead having been held off by the threats of death. Now, however, with all that had just happened and Mana's own intervention, Diablo had little option but to be by Ashlei's side should she require him.

As he emerged from the gateway into Ashlei's chambers within Las Nochas, Diablo witnessed Mana's, or rather, the second Mana's actions; though he still showed the same lack of an actual response. Walking towards the two queens, though still keeping a bit of distance, Diablo stopped only a few yards away from Ashlei and Mana, kneeling down as he did so. "...Flea has been... dismissed... for the time being..." he said, letting both women know of his actions as well as the fact that he had not harmed the younger Arrancar. Now, while Diablo would have gone straight to Ashlei's side had he arrived there first, as the other Mana had beaten him there, he did not have many options. Still, he was not simply going to sit there and do nothing if perhaps his actions could somehow help her. Standing up from the kneel, Diablo closed the rest of the gap between them, and, standing beside Mana, reached out his right hand and placed it gently against Ashlei's shoulder. "...Te tengo ahora... mi cariño" he spoke in a softer tone, yet still without emotions, and in Spanish again, as they were no longer in Thanatos Centro. While Diablo knew that Ashlei did not understand much Spanish, and was even unsure if she would be able to hear him, the words he spoke definitely held meaning; he had said the same words to her after he had caught her from falling in the Forrest of Menos all those months ago. While he was no closer to even having the slightest comprehension of emotions himself, the words he spoke were in no way empty; merely, he did not yet have the emotions to convey the actual feelings behind the words he spoke.

~Diablo's Fun Translation Time!~

"...Te tengo ahora... mi cariño" = "...I have you now... my dear"

It would appear everyone had gathered in Ashlei's chambers to try and rescue their dear beloved friend and loved one. Sadly, it can't end that way. Would you expect it to be as simple as walking in uninvited and hoping everything would simply work out in the end if you tried to reason with it? The girls body lay lifeless on the bed and paler than normal as if she hadn't moved or eaten in a whole month. That is exactly what had happened though: Her body has not moved an inch since her episode a month earlier that sent her into this coma. Ashlei's eyes were sealed shut by her own determination to remove this curse form her mind. Her hands were clenched as if she was preparing to punch the very dreams that plagued her. Her expression however looked innocent as if everything she had lived for was not her fault. What was torturing her very soul was nothing she could have avoided. She wasn't the one at fault here. She isn't guilty. or is that just a play on the lies and deceit she has had to withstand?

Ashlei was currently away from reality. Her body remained, but her spirit was lost in an endless dream. She wandered what appeared to be a destroyed world. The earth beneath her bare feet was dry as if it hadn't rained her in a century. The ground turned to dust as she set foot on it, continuing what felt like an effortless journey across a an empty landscape. She had no idea where she was but it didn't stop her. She was determined to find answers to all of this. As she walked around, pretty much in an endless cycle of dirt, she came up to a small structure that had fallen into the ground. Half of the building had sunk into what appeared to by a fiery pit. As she stepped closer and closer, the area around her began to fall apart as well. The path she was walking had crumbled creating a road up to the building. Ashlei saw no other way to go as the path behind her was also disappearing into lava below. Walking on, she entered the building by dropping down and landing in the doorway. Pushing on the door, it fell off it's hinges and down into the lava behind her.

"what...is this place?"

Ashlei's question would remain unanswered until she walked further into the building. It was run down but looked rather modern. As she stood in the center of what must have been some kind of reception, people started to make their presence known. the woman from before that Ashlei didn't recognise walked up to her with an arm outstretched. She spoke in a soft whisper 'come with me' but Ashlei didn't move.

"who are you?"

The woman chuckled under her breath, almost disappointed. She held up both arms as if she was about to lung for a hug and spoke. "How can you not remember your own mother? Welcome to the shattered Plane my darling" Ashlei looked at her, not shocked or stunned, but curious.

"Your'e my real mother?" She rapidly replied with "Yes, don't you remember me? Oh well, come along. I'll get you out of here and back to your family." But before Ashlei could delve any further, things began to change. A very familiar series of voices began to echo around the room causing it to collapse in on itself bit by bit. Ashlei could hear it all: The screaming of her dear sister mana was breaking into Ashlei's mind like a maniac rattling a rusty cell. The shouting broke parts of the buildings structure but the woman standing there did not move an inch. She held her arms up welcoming Ashlei towards her. Ashlei looked around, seeing no real way of escaping without being crushed. So she asked a question.

"If I go with you, will you take my back to my sisters?" the woman chuckled again. Lowering one arm but keeping one up to receive Ashlei's hand. "I would like to see my daughters too. Let us go... our family is waiting. Your true...family..." Ashlei's expression was slowly fading as she became more uncertain about her decision. As if maybe, just maybe...

...doing this would endanger her memories with Mana and Claire.

Yanking her hand back, Ashlei looked on at the woman with a stern look. She turned somewhat shocked by Ashleis reaction.

"What if I choose to stay here?..."

The woman looked somewhat distressed as Ashlei rebelled against the vision. the dream was reacting badly to her choice as the ever ringing voice of Mana was shuddering the structure with all her might. Ashleis supposed mother replied rashly: "If you stay your state may worsen. If you do not come with me, you will feel pain beyond what you have felt thus far. Your body cannot handle this! Come Ashlei, please. I don't want to see you hurt any more. Iv'e been watching you, feeling your pain. I want us to be whole again but to do so... you need to forget about everyone..."

Ashlei shook her head and began to laugh as she confirmed her theory. Her chuckles were somewhat menacing as if she was slowly returning to her usual evil self. She replied to her mothers ridiculous comments and took several rapid paces backwards.

"I do not care how much pain you put me through. Haunt me all of my life. Find me, wound me, tear my skin from my body until you can win your daughter back. Show me how much you want me and my sisters because I will not simply leave my friends. I love them... and I will do this even if It reduces me to nothing..."

With that said, Ashlei disappeared behind a chunk of debris. Then all at once, the building completely caved in removing her from sights. The world slowly broke apart then all at once everything vanished.

Back in Las Noches within the rather tattered blood stained room remained the three. Ashlei was still in the bed with Mana clutching onto her and Diablo kneeling by her side. After a few moments where Mana had stopped shouting, movement could be seen. Ashlei's eyes slowly but surely began to open revealing the usual blood red you would expect from the girl. Her lips began to wobble, her tongue slipping out to rub her dry mouth. Her fingers shook as they tried to grip onto the sheets that she was still laying on. Over time, her vision began to return and she made a guess as to who was in the room. Rolling her head over to see Diablo then mana in turn, she smiled as if she hadn't seen them in years, a tear rolling down her cheek.

"H-hi..." was all she could muster from her dried out throat...

A Caja Negació....an almost unfair little peice of espada tech that were so rare, the fact that Diablo had one was almost unthinkable. But there it was, being shoved into the hollow hole in the girls foot. As it was placed, the bit of tech started to perform its task and seal her in whatever dimention it was that the device sent those it effected to.

As she was sealed, the girl released a rush of radiation as she screamed in a mixture of anger and sadness. The power she had absorbed from her fights with Radioactive seemed to be released in a giant bomb of energy. While the destruction and amount of radiation was insignificant compaired to Radioactive, the pure destructive force may of been on par with the monster. It obliterated the city, irradiating the area in a light almost glowing fog, With that the Caja Negación sealed her away for now.

In this reality there was nothing. No beginning or end. There was not but darkness, for nothing else existed. From the darkness came a crack of light as a single being appeared in this black nothingness. Armor lay around as a small girl who appeared to be five lay in the middle. She had expended much energy in her rage, returning her to a hibernation stage. In the end it did not matter, there was nothing here but her anyway.

From the eternal nothingness came a figure whose body appeared to be made of pure light. As it closed in on the sleeping girl one could now tell that it was the spirit for a fox demon. How this being came to be here can never really be known, but the best theory would be that this dimention was reacting to certain subconsciousness of Flea.

Whatever the case, this being looked upon the girl with bright emerald eyes. She wore a white Kimono, and her kitsune feet were bare. Long golden hair fall over her face as she kneeled down to place a hand on the girls face.

''Your mind is shattered...''

She looked upon the girl was sadness as she picked her up. She held the girl to her chest as her ears lowered.

''You have a mission to complete little one, but your not yet old enough to accept your true power. Be you for just a little bit longer young Flea.''

As she held the girl her eyes opened just a bit. She smiled at the girl as she disappeared into the girls body. With that the girl was layed back down into the abyss. Shortly after the entire darkness began to shift into an icy world. As the girl lay several penguins surronded her. They would waddle her off to a giant palace made of ice in the center of the newly created dimention.

------------------------------

War stood behind Diablo. The usually calm steed now shot smoke and ash, filling the room they were in. War may not be as strong as Diablo, but his healing skills were by far much better than diablo's. He could be completely obliterated and still reform again and again. He was truely as immortal as a hollow could be.

''The truths of the years truely never change. Couldn't trust a spaniard then, can't trust one now.''

Flames swirled around the steed as he stared at the espada with rage in his eyes.

''You will find that trying that trick again will not find you the same outcome.''

Song: Hand Of Sorrow - Artist: Within Temptation - Words: 1530

It seems that while Mana was busy tending to her sister's wounds on the inside of Las Nochos, things were beginning to get very tense back in Thanatos Centro. This was because the scuffle between Diablo Cortar and Flea Mischevang had reached a boiling point. From what Mana's influence was able to observe out of all of this, she ultimately came to believe 'Sir Diablo had reacted very negatively towards Flea's dramatic entrance into the scene; one that that costed a few on-lookers their lives. So, while she wished to protect her dear sister, it was also necessary to protect the city that she held very dear to her. Or, at the very least, a city that Queen Mana assumed the Hollow Queen wished not to see destroyed. Therefore, from this reasoning alone, it was enough for Mana to jump into action to prevent the devastatingly destructive actions of Flea Mischevang from causing any further harm. And, with The Queen's energy constricting around Hueco Mundo like a cobra? This wasn't going to be too much for Mana to handle. After all, she has faced beings who could destroy the very fabric of existence, beings that matched her in power; while outnumbering her in opposition and taking on entire armies of supernatural freaks. Dealing with one loud, rude and unruly kid would be nothing but child's play for someone like Queen Mana.

"My, my. If you had acted more CIVIL, I doubt things would turn so wrong for you." Echoed Mana's voice throughout the city; the second Mana's eyes seeming to focus heavily the spot where Flea was seen having an emotional breakout. "But alas, you brought this on yourself, young one. Now, my dear Flea, you must suffer the consequences like a big girl. Show me a smile before we sound you to the abyss." With that said, Mana began to clap her fingers before the darkness of the city came alive, the energy that bonded it accelerated it in growth and the control she had over her powers began to become clearly displayed to all those who were paying tribute to this massive scene over Thanatos Centro. One of the first steps was to ultimately null the area of damage that this blast's impact would have. So, before it could even destroy a few thousand meters, Mana had decelerated the flow of time around the explosion in order to better deal with what to do with it. This would then allow her time to analyze the explosion, prepare her own resources to consume it and possibly do away with this danger to Thanatos in a timely matter as only The Queen of Demon's could.

"Oh my, I never realized she had so much anger built inside of that soul." Commented the second Mana whom stared into the truly impressive explosion that laid before her eyes. "If I were to let that free, that would probably destroy at least half of this city." So, taking a soft sigh, Mana clenched her fist and proceeded to have a massive dome of shadow's cover the radiating blast; consuming it into a world of highly potent darkness. Then, once that feat was covered, The Queen attempted to drown the explosion within a pocket Shadow World that she'd ultimately use as a massive power source, while protecting the city from taking too much damage. "Thus, I must say, her soul's flare taste absolutely delicious. I'll savor it and prod her for more later!" At this point, after saying that, she'd hopefully had assimilated this destructive core into the fiber of this pocket dimension. With Mana's raw power crushing down the very fiber of Flea's assault, the darkness ever growing to become attached to Mana and the experience of countless demon millennium's knowledge on her side; this threat should all but be nulled and resulted in a massive core that could power half a city the size of Karakura City should have been acquired.

Now, looking upon the zone of devastation the blast caused within a one hundred meter radius, it was an extremely fortune circumstance that Queen Mana had such a control over the situation. For, if there wasn't someone like her handling the scene, this whole circumstance could have ended very negatively for the citizens of Thanatos Centro. "I suppose she'll have to think about the consequences of her action while in timeout." Shrugging a bit, the Mana whom was standing outside of the gateway that lead to the Original Mana and Ashlei, turned towards Diablo and nodded. "You shouldn't be so tense, deary." She said, looking at Diablo's bodily language, facial expression and the overall way he dealt with Flea. "But, whatever. Just follow the yellow brick road with me" Patting his head a bit, the second Mana proceeded to follow him through the portal into the darkness that would eventually lead to the Queen of Hollow's and Mana's original self.

Flashing back into the touching scene within the dome of Las Nochos, the real Mana, whom was embracing Ashlei within her arms, began to finally seem at ease for the first time in awhile. She looked upon her beloved sister with a genuine smile across her lips; having unprecedented amounts of emotion fill every fiber of her being upon the awakening of Ashlei. "It seemed my words finally reached you, huh?" Said Mana with a slight chuckle; proceeding to rub Ashlei's hair as she gazed down her. "I bet you are probably starved, here, drink from my blood." In a matter of milliseconds, a cavity began to open up in Mana's right wrist. With it? There was obscene amounts of green blood for The Hollow Queen's taking as The Queen of Demon's placed her wrist around Ashlei's mouth. "Now, drink up. I can tell from everything you've been through that you are going to need all the strength you can get to be strong enough to deal with this nightmare." Provided she was willing to drink this blood, Mana had a special treat in store if she had decided to consume this sweet nectar of the demonic gods. Based on the fact she has fed from The Hollow Queen before, Mana had a somewhat decent understanding of her body. So, with this knowledge in hand, together her control over Demon Magic, there would be all sorts of vitamins, nutrients and other growths inside of The Demon Queen's blood that would serve to speed up the recovery time of Ashlei, make her stronger then before and possibly even get her back on two feet within the span of one or two post.

Then, when done with that action, Mana proceeded at nodding her head to confirm her own truths. However, before she could indulge herself within this sacred world between her and Ashlei, Mana then glanced at Diablo and War; as they seemed ready to do battle at any moment from the way War was approaching him. 'Deal with them.' Commanded the original Mana telepathically towards the second Mana whom had entered the room with Diablo. Pointing her finger towards the point of them, this Second Mana proceeded to form what is known as a "Demonio Negacion" in front of her. This was a device that was built like the Arrancar's Caja Negació, but far more potent and used on a variety of races outside of Arrancar or Hollow's alone. "Look, hunnies, I'm not going to expend much effort on my end. So, if you two do not proceed to take a seat and calm my dear sister, I'll be forced to seal before you up until a time of my choosing to release you." Frowning a bit, this Mana seemed slightly serious as she wasn't afraid to get dirty if this got out of hand with how Diablo reacted earlier. "Therefore, I'd suggest you lower your testosterone, put your attitudes to the wayside and just focus on Ashlei for now. I will not tolerate any further fighting within this area. I don't care if you two blockheads want to bash each other's skull in, I'd love it any other time, but you'll be doing that in a place outside of here."

And with that, The Mana whom was currently speaking proceeded take a glance to her right as yet another shadow gateway had opened. On the other side? The endless sands of Hueco Mundo awaited The Archduke and The Fateful Steed of Flea Mischevang. "Now, think long and hard before you really decide to proceed with any further action." Done scolding the two of them, the original Mana simply kept patting Ashlei's head as she smiled ever so gently down upon her. "Don't mind the pets, I've got everything under control. You just need to focus on recovering from this, my dear sister." With nothing much more to add at this point, Queen Mana simply waited to see what Ashlei's response to her would be, while watching the two other guest in the room very carefully; ready to lay down her law if any one of them had decided to get violent. This was a delicate situation, but one Mana was willing to fight for the well being of Ashlei.
