August 21, 2412

It was the 21st of August, a rather strange day for anything to happen, that was for sure. Standing out near the gate of the high school, the girl quietly watched the students filtering through with quiet eyes. She didn't want to be bothered, but it wasn't enough for her to find a place around here. So instead, she would watch the people filtering through the gate while she waited for the bell to ring to announce the beginning of the day. Michiko knew that it would get quiet with about five minutes to remain, which was why she was willing to sit through the noise for those five minutes of quiet. Smiling to herself from her seat, Michiko's soft eyes kept watching those who passed with interest; shifting slightly if a somewhat-scary person passed her by, but also returning to the same spot when they left. This was something that she did every morning, as a girl who had little duties inside the Student Council, and never sought to actually join a club. Chuckling, she leaned back as the last of the students passed her by. Five minutes until the bell rang, and Michiko would then slowly head over to her classroom. Kariya-sensei was usually late to homeroom anyway, so she generally arrived before he did. For now, however, she would relax here in front of the gate with a smile on her lips, appreciating and enjoying the quietness that came with this place...

However, with great peace, there are times when it's replaced by someone who wants to destroy. Stepping through the gate at the last minute was a male that wore a black suit, standing there and watching from behind what appeared to be a gas mask. Michiko could only quietly watch as she got the feeling of intense worry from the being that had walked in. She did not recognize the race; nor did she feel like she should attempt to. It would've been smart of her to just get the hell out at that point. "Wh...at?" All of a sudden, the gate closed behind him with a loud clang that resounded throughout the entirety of Karakura High School.

With that noise, Michiko felt her heart jump through her chest, and she turned to start to back away. This was bad. She knew it was bad, and yet she also knew that her current state wouldn't let her do anything about it. The male felt powerful; enough to strike fear into the hearts of most. She swallowed back bile, and shook her head. She would watch, because that was all that she could do. A sudden shockwave spread outwards from the male's position, and Michiko felt something bothering with the air around her. With the shockwave subsiding, she saw that he was now gone. However, she also saw something completely different. The sky. The sky was red. Red as blood, in fact. Running for the gate where he had come through, she stopped in front of it and tried to stick her hand through--it came up against solid matter. She was stuck, and so were the rest of the students in the school. That wasn't the only thing going on, though.

Several beasts sprung up out of nowhere in the next second, beginning already to overrun the school in the hundreds. She peered carefully at them, trying to make out their shape, when... they started to surround her as well. She had nowhere to go, the gate was the only thing stopping her from getting out. And that was shut off from the world too. "What's going on...? What are these things...? Why is this happening to us...?" Feeling tears bridging the edges of her eyes, Michiko did the only thing she could. Kneeling down, she screamed her lungs out in fear...

NOTES: Alright, we're beginning! All demons overrunning the school are either 2-3 or 1-1 in tier, and can take any shape you want them to take. Students only. Badges don't work anymore. Karakura High is entrapped within a barrier field, and you cannot escape. There are no teachers.

You can make side-threads, and you must put that a) It's a student thread, and b) it's the mini-event. A title like:

[KARAKURA HIGH; STUDENTS] The Fight Begins

Will work.

Objectives:

  • Find out the cause.
  • Eradicate as many demons as possible.
  • Keep alive.
  • Save your friends.

You don't all have to be in the same place, and I'd rather we didn't all bunch up in one small group. BEGIN!

[Serah Kirsche]

The name was simple, even though it sounded foreign here in japan - Serah Kirsche. Just a normal, blonde girl going to Karakura High... on first glance. She was one of the latest to arrive today - but it was still a miracle for her to have shown up so early to begin with. Since middle school, she had been known as a deliquent and troublemaker - but a kind-hearted one at that. A person that disregarded authority and rules - as seen by her lack to adhere to the dresscode - but was still a good person was quite rare, compared to the usual douchebags - and most of these douchebags feared Serah, who, even though she had no aparent spiritual powers, was known to beat up bullies twice her size without breaking a sweat.
Her eyes were staring blankly into the sky as she wandered towards the school building in the middle of the crowd - she had no real interest in being here, but there were STILL no leads to the whereabouts of the person she cared for the most, apart from her actual family. And just as she was about to enter the school...
She quickly decided to not go in today after all. Turning around abruptly earned her a few murmurs, but nothing was done to stop her, as the girl slipped out of the crowd to the side, away from the doorway. Walking away just as slowly... she looked directly at the person that entered right as the bell rung. A person in black, with what seemed to be... a gas mask. Just the sight alone rang all alarm bells within the mind of the Quincy girl, but what was she supposed to do? Someone didn't enter school dressed like that with good intentions, but first of all, she hid her powers constantly, and second... She didn't have any of her Quincy tools on her. Those were inside of her locker, in a secret compartment she had gotten approved by the headmaster once, thanks to the influence of her father. But before she could really think... All hell had broken loose already. And literally, too.

"Wha... what is this...?" Looking up at the sky, Serah nearly fell flat on her backside. It had turned blood red! Even deeper was the color than her own clothes, which were usually sticking out amongst normal clothes easily. This was insane - how could something, or someone, suddenly change the sky above a part of Karakura Central? But once more, she had no real time to figure this out more deeply... As a scream called her attention downwards, just in time for Serah to notice more screaming. And the reasons for it - in the form of countless, swarming monsters. Demons. So many quivering, bestial creatures everywhere, and the evil aura surrounding them was astounding... But that didn't matter right now. Neither did it matter that they were about to attack Serah as well, or that this event might reveal her true origin, all of that was not important, because...
"...! Michiko!" With a scream, Serah suddenly darted forward. This was not simply a sprint, no. A simple sprint wouldn't allow a human to run past multiple demons easily. This was supernatural speed - like an arrow, Serah was flying forwards. The small distance that had taken her nearly five minutes while walking towards school would be bridged in the fractions of seconds - this was Hirenkyaku, the flash step of the Quincy - or half-Shinigami in this case. Collecting Reishi from the air and dashing off of it at break-neck speeds, this was the secret to moving like the wind. But there was more - during this dash, Serah had pulled out the one lone Quincy tool on her person. A small tube, filled with a single drop of what seemed to be water.

"Das zu öffnen, was nie verschlossen war."

A crack, that was what this drop now created in Serah's hand. This spell was special, no normal Quincy could use it - but as a half-Shinigami, it opened a portal for Serah, one that lead right into her own locker! The secret compartment was ripped open, and a belt dragged out, one that was swung around her hips and clicked into position, right above the short skirt of the girl. And not a moment to soon, because now she arrived - and she did that with a flying sidekick right into the face of a demon about to devour Michiko. Usually, kicking a demon was ill-advised for people with human bodies - but surrounding Serah's legs was a golden, ethereal glow. Unseen to the normal eye, she had woven countless spirit threads into her muscles and flesh - turning her harder than steel. As she landed right infront of Michiko in a crouching position, her left and right hand both activated weapons - in each one, she was holding a Seele Schneider, and they extended into long, glowing blue blades made up from countless vibrating smaller blades - these spirit chainsaws were nearly impossible to stop, they'd pierce even demons stronger than the Quincy girl like a hot knife would go through butter. Staring down the demons, there was no fear in the eyes of the young fighter at all, or so it seemed.
"Hey, Hasegawa-chan! Get a grip, stay close to me!" Protecting a person was hard enough. Protecting one covering down on the ground as demons were closing in on both of them, from all sides, was not. The chaos was just starting, but the situation was already dire.

Akio, the Anima Fist

DEMON HUNTER IS ACTIVE!

Akio's Side
Akio is the wily kind of person who rushes in head-first, so at first glance of his layered outfit, he looks like a delinquent with a white tee-shirt, yellow vest and sleeveless trench coat followed by his pants rolled up into shorts with white socks and black dress shoes. With his short, spiky hair that is combed back, dark skin and a fierce face, Akio enters the school with his briefcase held over his right shoulder while a free hand in his trench coat's front pocket. In the school, he is reputed to take so much of a beating and still stand like nothing happened, but in truth, his recently recovered injury was no walk in the park to deal with. He walked into his classroom which mainly consists of delinquents and fight-happy folks. The first thing that greets him was a flying eraser, which he catches without fazing. "I'm late?" Akio asks with boredom in his tone before receiving an irritated response, "No! You're early! Damn, you're frustrating to predict!" The class giggles as usually Akio is so predictable that it is an easy bet on the next thing he does for a thousand yen. From there, Akio sits at class.

All when poo hits the fan, Akio finds a demon bursting in to the classroom. Much to the expectations, the delinquent classroom can hold themselves because of people like Kyoya and Akio. In literal means, if these two actually work together, they are capable of fighting Oniichi or Zero on even grounds if possible, or so as Akio thought. When he hears Michiko's scream, Akio becomes furious as he tears a horn out of one demon's head and rushes out, ignoring the cuts he just received from jumping out of a window. To him, this is becoming the time when Demon Hunters can shine instead of the Quincy! "Hasegawa-senpai!" Akio shouts out as he was quick to tackle a bull-like demon and ramming a horn into the back of its head, piercing it into its skull and through its brain with sheer brute force. He jumps off and races to Michiko. Standing before a few demons, Akio stands firm between Michiko and the demons, keeping a stern eye contact. "Friends and family comes first, including you and Serah." Akio speaks as he puts on his finger-less studded-leather gloves, ready to protect Michiko, "If you think we cannot stand a chance, say so and I'll carry you out of the trouble."

Zero didn't need the idiot bell to know when trouble was sparking, and he was just about to enter the school building when all hell was breaking loose. He didn't get a chance to see Mr. Gasmask but did he really need to as demons started to attack from nearly everywhere. The sky was also tinted a sort of red color for some reason, it suggested they weren't in the world of the living anymore. It was quite a shock with everything that was happening as it started, many students were among Zero entering the building, some even fellow classmates. Nothing starts the day off better than a demon trying to smash you head in as it attempted to do so with Zero. The demon didn't calculate through how much he screwed up through as with Zero's focus and speed he easily dodged the demon's attacking attempt, grabbed his arm and provided to break it for him. He did this by grabing the arm slamming him onto the ground and stand up to fully slam his foot down the center around the elbow. No mercy was given to the ruthless demon as Zero's bow was formed even with the badge onand he made a direct headshot three times.

"Anyone know what the hell is going on around here!?" He would yell out.

It wasn't quite certain as he would get any kind of answer from people as they ran off to group up in the building or were busy fighting of a demon or two. It really didn't matter as the quincy ziamachi switched over to his other set of skills. A black aura covered his arm as he approached a on coming horde of the weaker version of demons. They were definately starting to become a annoyance already, Zero used sonido to appear in between the group and unleshed a blast of air everywhere called Sound Rapture. This wasn't the end as Zero provided to move quickly and run away from the blown away group hoping to make a few of the large horde knocked out. Even through they were weaker than him, in this state he didn't have the killing power that he perfered to finish them off quite how he liked. Eventually he started to take note of who else was present and outside at the moment, he quickly locked on to fellow class president Michiko, troublemaker Serah, and fellow judgement member Akio being surronded.

"What, She's a?" Zero could talk right as he noticed Serah with two familar objects to his eyes.

She was what he thought in his mind then she might be a useful ally to him in this battle that was surely only beginning in Karakura High School. Zero was running at about 200 or more as he flash step once more to appear between Michiko and Serah using his mastery of sound and air to blast the enemy away from the location several meters away. "Everyone doing fine here?" He would ask as he exited zero state to revert back to normal. His Quincy bow would now reform in his hands once more and he would stomp the ground once generating plenty of sound from himself as he formed several echos. They totaled up to about ten right now. They formed a sort of circle around their area, keeping the demons back as they each would rapidly fire out over 100 arrows, making sure to avoid all not wearing a KHS uniform or Serah if she decided to get in front of them and continue fighting demons. This was only step one as Zero needed time to calculate the best option at the moment of how to defend the school.

"Any suggestions where we should go? My echos can only hold off for so long and we need more space ." He asked all of them, Zero hoped they would have a answer.

Even through many arrows were being fired, many demons were also fighting, taking a few arrows before even slowing down a bit for stronger ones and the weaker ones weren't showing much better progress. It was only a matter of time, before he was going to have to release back to zero state but that would comprimise the circle he was trying to hold and even sound rapture had a limit on holding people back. Akio was a demon hunter but what demon hunter prepared fro the invasion on school property senario and would be able to hold of hundreds in such a small area. Zero wished he had some of his equipment present but they were stashed away except for a single object that was inside a hidden pocket in his pants. It was called the Super drug with a kick to it as Zero could use it to push his power further but serious side efects came with it and he was sure it wasn't the time for it. Still a suggestion wandered in his mind that this object would have great importance as time went on.

His echos now had to pause a moment from all of their firing for a second before resuming their firing on the enemy as he realized that they were shooting to their max amount. This was tuening on them bad if the didn't get a plan together soon or everybody was going to be a goner since among all students he was certainly the strongest present unless the teacher stepped in. Actually this was a good question now.

[i]"Where are all the teachers?" He would ask himself with a whispher.

I'm never going to be a hero! But I'm Zero!

Obviously, someone had heard Michiko screaming, because she heard footsteps and a voice coming at her from the side. This girl who, right now, was completely powerless to do anything but cower could only watch as the girl she remembered as being named Serah ran at a speed that was far beyond that of humans. The girl landed right in front of Michiko, who yelped at such tactics and produced a pair of blades. Oh, they were Seele Schneiders--her grandmother had taught her of the Quincy... so if she was using Seele Schneiders, then that meant that she was a Quincy, right?! Right! That meant that she had powers, and to be honest, this girl looked rather strong. However, Michiko didn't have exactly enough time to consider the possibility of what had just occurred. "Hey, Hasegawa-chan! Get a grip, stay close to me!" She blinked and looked up, but then looked to the side at the other fast-approaching being.

"Friends and family comes first, including you and Serah." It was Akio, of all people. She blinked and swallowed slightly, before shaking her head quickly. What was she doing, what was she doing?! She was backed up against a gate with no way of fighting, she needed to get a way of fighting! But it was so embarrassing... "If you think we cannot stand a chance, say so and I'll carry you out of the trouble." Why was she so useless?! She had this ability, why wouldn't she use it? Just because she was scared of asking someone for a contract... "Everyone doing fine here?" Another voice--it was Zero this time. Swallowing back her bile, she slowly looked up and nodded meekly--yes, she was alright, to a point at the very least. However, if this lasted for any longer, she wouldn't be that alright. She'd most likely be dead if she continued to be this stubborn. Staring at the demons weakly from her position, she started to realize the direness of her situation. If she didn't do something soon, she'd only be dead weight. Dead weight was as good at helping a team as a few rocks on their ankles.

She stared through large violet eyes at the beings that surrounded her, helping her, defending her. "Any suggestions where we should go? My echos can only hold off for so long and we need more space ." It was now or never. Either choose to help yourself, or stay as dead weight. Slowly, but surely, the girl would raise herself up off of the ground. Carefully getting to her feet, she placed a soft hand onto Serah's shoulder. She seemed like the easiest to get assistance from... and frankly Michiko wasn't comfortable with doing this to guys yet. "Akio-kun, Zero-san, I am going to need about five seconds of protection. It's likely that Serah-san here will be... otherwise distracted..." There was something interesting about the kiss. Although it was possible to speak droves with the lips and vocal cords, there were times when what was to be said couldn't be said in such a simple and brutish way. Instead, there was the kiss. The pressing of lips in temporary passion was said to send messages between two people that could never be spoken. Although it was possible for Michiko to ask for a contract, she had neither the time nor the patience to do so right now. She had to force it. Closing her eyes for a moment, she swallowed slightly.

"Serah-san... I am going to need you to keep calm and I am really really sorry in advance." Quickly running a finger down the centre of her own chest in the valley between her own breasts, Michiko spoke a quick line of: "For the body, I contract thee as a donator." Placing a petite hand on Serah's chin, Michiko's face was instantly brought close and their lips touched. It wasn't a brief touch either, as Michiko let a slightly-passionate kiss play between the two girls for about five seconds. Although Serah may not have felt anything else occur, the now-blushing Michiko felt droves as she pulled away. The connection was created, and a link forged between them. That was all that they needed, as the symbol (unseen by most people) started to glow softly. Serah would feel a sudden link to Michiko, but nothing else.

Michiko, on the other hand, changed slightly by contracting Serah's Body. Her skin darkened a bare shade, and two white marks appeared on her cheeks. Her hair lightened, and her face showed signs of a confidence that was rarely-seen in Michiko's eyes. "I'll get rid of them, as soon as I'm done... Let's go!" Suddenly, Michiko disappeared with Hirenkyaku, reappearing above the group of demons with a far more confident smirk crossing her face. Without warning, in her left hand would form a blue-glowing bow. Due to the unique nature of Serah's Quincy Cross, Michiko would not be able to access a good majority of the powers associated, and could only form a generic bow for her own use--though it still held the same firing rate. That didn't matter too much, however, as there was no drop in effectiveness. Forming an arrow in her left hand, Michiko pulled back on the string and started to fire a small barrage of arrows downwards, piercing through many of the demons at once with screams escaping from the 'mouths' of the things. She aimed to at least attempt to clear something of a path, before using a reishi platform to stand in mid-air and watch. "I know what just happened seems weird, but we need to get a move on!" She was obviously serious.

[Serah Kirsche]

The crash from Akio suddenly appearing and ramming a demon away nearly knocked Serah out of her battle-ready pose, and even in this dire situation, she couldn't help but smirk. It was good to know someone of his strength nearby - and it was even better that she was able to FINALLY cut loose for once. Who cared about hiding powers when you were possibly not going to survive the day? Serah's Seele Schneider blades awaited the first demon dumb enough to attack her head-on. Her eyes looked at Akio from the side for only a moment.
"Can't remember asking for your help, but in this case, I won't complain. I was never that good at math, but I think that's a few hundred or thousand demons against the three of us?" With a slight bit of snark, Serah readied her posture more for the onslaught of demonic attackers about to collapse onto them... But the storm of demons didn't happen after all!

The reason was another member of Judgement showing up - in a burst, it was none other than Zero, possibly the strongest member of Judgement. While Serah was pretty sure that no Quincy could ever reach the levels of her father, this guy was indeed strong, and reliable, and possibly well-liked by many people - or in other words, something you wouldn't expect from the deliquents that had shown up slightly before he did.
"Correction, the four of us." Relaxing her stance slightly, the Seele Schneider blades in her hands deactivated - keeping spinning spiritual chainsaws active in your hands when not actively slicing apart a demon, and activation in need was incredibly fast anyway. She was also about to reply to his question for a place to possibly hole up and hold out, when Michiko spoke up - well, that didn't happen every day, but a giant horde of demons could make even the shy students talk, it seemed.
Distracted? What could possibly distract a trained Quincy from a horde of wild demonic monsters about to tear her apart? Well, the answer came before Serah even asked the question, and it did indeed shut her up for a short time completely, which was not something you saw every day. Girls kissing Serah, or Serah not having a witty response, of course.
Not that she would complain, though. This was not some little kiss on the lips, this was... quite something different. That Michiko had also stolen Serah's first kiss with that was not something the young Quincy was going to cry about, either. Her tense body stance actually relaxed a little bit - and when Michiko pulled away, not only she was blushing lightly. Of course, Serah would never admit that she was showing any signs of embarassment. But the next thing to happen quite surprised Serah as well, because... Since when was Michiko a Quincy?

Shaking her head for a second to clear her mind, she at least lost no time to follow the chance presented by Hasegawa.
"The inside of the building would limit how many can attack us at once, but all hell will be loose in there, thinking of the other students. We need to find a place we can easily fortify." Finally, she answered Zero - while Serah's face still had a slightly red tint, her mind was clearly set on the matter at hand, or so it seemed at least. With a burst of Hirenkyaku, the young woman dashed into the air now - coming to a halt besides Michiko who was bombarding the demons with their just rewards. Winking at her slightly with a smirk, Serah threw one of her two Seele Schneider blades over to the girl, putting the second one back into the utility belt she had grabbed out of her arsenal from afar, before adjusting the gloves she was wearing slightly.
"You're better at kissing than I would've imagined. Keep this one handy, you'll need it once those bastards try to get close and personal." Raising her right hand, she moved it downwards in a flash - and bursted a couple of spiritual pins downwards, which acted like supercharged arrows. At least three demons lost their heads, or what Serah assumed were their heads, from the small explosions.

Akio Gomoto
The Anima Fist
3-3

"Serah. Hasegawa-senpai...
We will talk later after this."
It is hard to tell if Akio was surprised, embarrassed or something, but certainly he was momentarily sidetracked when Michiko kissed Serah shortly after Zero arrived. All he did was put on a smirk with his right eyebrow twitching before looking back at the demon horde. Out of the group of two or three Quincy lies the sole active member of the Demon Hunters, the Anima Fist. In the vast array of talents in the ranks, Akio was only ranked as a D-Class Demon Hunter. When comparing to other Demon Hunters, Akio's strong, but was not trained enough to handle actual demons as the C-Class Demon Hunters like Oniichi and Aiko are capable of defeating Akio because the Demon Hunters are ranked by training and experience in fighting demons. Luckily for Akio, these kinds of demons are merely maggots, so Akio can make short work of them, or so as Akio would believe. Without Aiko pointing out the strengths, Akio would be at a grave disadvantage if he uses too much or too little of his strength. When he sees Serah and Michiko up in the air, blowing enemies away with...Quincy doodads, Akio was rather skeptical. "What's the point of you three fighting demons when it takes more than just reishi NONSENSE! FOCUSED STANCE!" Akio roars out as his body flickers with light as if his body was made out of metal for a very brief time as Akio assumes a stance common for Kung-Fu artists. His leer clearly focused as his muscles tensed with a slight growth. In this stance, Akio balances out defense and offense enhancements coming from his Anima Stone that shines brightly through the flesh of Akio's middle spine. Akio's the type to fight hard when dealing with delinquents, but even with Zero's amounted time with him, Akio never shown the power of his Anima Stone before. So by fact, all three; Zero, Akio and Serah are all hiding their powers the whole time.

One of the demons escapes the barrage slaughtering his kin and rushes at Akio, seeing him as a bigger threat to take down first. A technique of the Anima Fist was easily explained when compared to Arrancar as the moment that the demon comes down with its blade, Akio twists to the right with his left hand onto the right hip, evading the blade. And then he swings his left hand out to the left, slamming the back of his hand onto the spiked cheekbone and jawbone of the demon's head with a loud "WHAP!" that sends the demon hurdling a distance away to Akio's left. As for Akio's left hand, they come out unharmed because when in a focused stance, he can focus the power of his Anima Stone to certain location like how Arrancar can focus their energy to a certain part of their body to create Hierro. In layman's term, Akio just hardened himself to the point that the demon's horns cannot hurt him when he pimp-smacked it. "Zero. You go find the source; I'll be sure the lovebirds are safe and help them with the students." Akio speaks to Zero with a stern tone. After that, he reels back his right fist and raises the left hand further ahead of him while crouching back as if preparing something. To an observant eye, they can see a small ripple beneath his feet, implying a boost of speed while with the hardened state of body, implying that he is going to demolish the horde to clear a path for Michiko and Serah to rush into the school.

Just like that, he rushes headlong and becomes a human bowling ball against the demon bowling pins. As promised in silence, he did, causing the demons to be tossed and knocked off their feet while the demons behind them are struggling to move over them, thus a window of opportunity was created for Serah and Michiko to rush in and join Akio with finding that place they spoke about, leaving Zero hopefully on a scouting mission. With Akio's lacking ability to detect any presence other than what's in front of him, he will be relying on Serah to pick up if Zero found that source. For now, Akio is enrolled as Serah's and Michiko's tank and juggernaut.

"Five seconds? What can be done in five sec...." Zero said but never finished as he found himself stunned the initial moment they kissed.

This wasn't even the biggest surprise as things went to hell around them as the demons continue to pour out towards them and one strike at Akio. Luck was on Akio's side through as the demon didn't seem to put up a threat for him currently at this part of the battle. Then Michiko showed Quincy abilities and things she had said before kissing Serah and now were making sense. Did she borrow her abilities or copy them truly and could she do this with multiple people? All these questions and events were quite a rush to him and to make things better, the demons wouldn't stop coming towards them and his echos. Were they endless and why did so many of them want to kill us students. This was not clicking in his mind at the moment and probably will never do so.

Serah and Michiko, now were fighting quite well against the demons better than before and Akio wasn't going to be falling down soon either. The Voice was keeping the echos at effective one hundred percent in constant combat. He could go off on his own if he wanted and they would be able to go on but he wasn't going to leave them unassisted no matter how go things were looking now. Akio told him to go search for the source and he left but left a final echo in his place to communicate with the group through The Voice. He quickly used a flash step and really wasn't keen on what type he used but he appeared on the roof of the school. Zero looked out at everything hoping to locate the source easily but came with no answer. He needed to try and sense him but this was going to probably require all of his skill in tracking a spirit from both his Quincy and Arrancar skills. Eventually two of the previous ten echos to keep a circle around the group moved to his side shooting out any demons attempting to bother him as he scanned the entire area with complete focus. He could not fail at this task or things would be very complicated for the entire student body.

Back with the group, The Voice watched wanting to see how Akio and the others would get to a more secure area. He was to assist them as best as he could for Zero and communicate with them as well as possible.

" If you need Zero or if Zero has any messages for you I can relay them to you!" The newly made echo shouted out to them.

They were working quite well while Zero was hard at work scanning hoping he would locate the source in time but time was against them. As Akio made a path out of the demon horde the echos broke their eight man formation and began to continue to widen the path for Michiko and Serah as they shot the demons and keep pushing back further and further. After they had escaped into the building only four would proceed as the other four stayed at the entrance they used holding them back. They would also assist in other students outside to proceed in as well as best as they could. Havoc and chaos was being unleashed nearly every place you looked now.

"Those echoes should provide with sometime and less demons to worry about but they will have to fade if they get to close or we will all get hurt and by that I mean Zero, me and all the other echoes." He explained to the group.

Zero couldn't quite tell what was going on and his spirit had no clue either but both of them came to one conclusion. Also, red was a pretty dam good color to describe hell and this was pretty much what Zero expected it to be like, surrounded by demons like. This was Karakura High School's moment in Hell he proposed to call this. He couldn't quite think of another name at the moment that quite described the situation as well.

God, that was so very very awkward. Michiko wanted to crawl into a hole and die at this point in time, however that would do her classmates no good. Sighing softly, the girl standing at her position pulled the string back over and over, taking down each of the targets with precision that seemed completely unnatural for her. If asked, she'd say that she'd taken archery--she'd actually taken archery in Junior High, at her grandmother's request--apparently it would help her in the long run. Well done, Grandmother, you got something right for a change. Muttering internally, Michiko continued to fire off arrow after arrow, piercing the skulls of multiple demons as she did so. That was her first kiss, damnit, and she gave it away in order to survive. Survival. Remember that. Growling and firing the arrows with more aggression, Michiko kept an eye out from her peripheral vision, waiting for any of the other students to act. No voice reached her ears, until the feminine voice of Serah appeared beside her--"You're better at kissing than I would've imagined." She only just noticed the Seele Schneider flung at her, catching it in her right hand and flicking it over and through her fingers. "Keep this one handy, you'll need it once those bastards try to get close and personal."

Quickly rummaging through her memory, Michiko recalled the purpose of the Seele Schneider--it was a weaponized Quincy Arrow in the shape of a sword. Perfect. "Zero. You go find the source; I'll be sure the lovebirds are safe and help them with the students." She smirked. Lovebirds. Riiight. Watching the student bowl through a bunch of the bloody Demons, Michiko would quickly drop down from her own platform, dissipating the bow and drawing the Seele Schneider at her side, activating it with ease. There was something nice about the contract of the Body--it gave you a lot of the perks that came with the contractee's body, as well as something of a physical 'sense' of how to use it. Powerful, sure, but it left you open to a lot of weaknesses at times. Pushing off of the ground, Michiko started to move her body in a fashion that could only be called a dance--slashing through demon after demon, turning her body at angles she had never done so before; certain 'aspects' of her body jiggling with the motion. She shouted as she moved, dancing around and through the demons, making sure that she could get to the path that had been cleared by Akio and Zero's... echoes?

"Those echoes should provide with some time and less demons to worry about but they will have to fade if they get to close or we will all get hurt and by that I mean Zero, me and all the other echoes." She didn't understand. However, she didn't need to. Suddenly pushing off, Michiko raised an arm up and shouted: "C'mon! We need to get into the school!" Her feet slapped against the ground, and she quickly dissolved the Seele Schneider, hooking it somewhere safe and stopping for a second, waiting for Serah as she reached down. Her hands hesitated over the material of her long skirt for a second, before gripping and pulling apart. 'I need the movement,' she justified to herself, as a long rip went up the side of her uniform skirt, to about halfway up her thigh. Turning around again, she started to run into the building; now at the rear of the pack and behind Akio and Serah--where was Zero? Not too worried for his safety (due to the fact that he was exceptionally powerful) Michiko continued onwards, scanning for a defensible position. From every angle, she could see students clashing with Demons, and the occasional dead body laying on the ground.

Stopping to stare, Michiko could only watch as the body was quickly engulfed by three or four demons, each one ripping away at red meat that could no longer be recognized as human. Closing her eyes and looking away, trying not to vomit, Michiko started off again... this was going to be Hell. No other words for it.
