Ibiki and Ladon meeting, and already possibly getting drunk.
IC Discord InformationTimeline: the ICRP itself started in December, a little bit before Ibiki became the Head Captain of the Gotei
Characters In It: Ladon Iwashikeru and Ibiki (Kenpachi) Suika.
What Happened: Basically, Ladon returned to Ibiki after a long time of not being at the Soul Society; basically a rogue Shinigami except for the fact he took what may as well be a long ass sick leave. He returned to Ibiki and generally asked her to forgive him and wished to be trained so he could no longer be weak; possibly even get closer to Ibiki, but, that may not happen depending of course.
Witness: Frost can verify this, as can I; it's part of character plot that is planned.

- Ladon: -the young Shinigami had a soft sigh escape from his lips as he stared at the outskirts of Karakura from the Karakura forest. He had previously been in Europe, meeting with Nemesis; about to join the demon cause. But something caused him to stop and leave. He was still unsure to this day what, but, he felt he should at least return to the Gotei and apologize to whoever the Combat Squad leader is or something. Of course, he did know he was likely still on the radar and he was sure it was well known that the young man had left the last mission he was on without any explanation; there must be someone trying to find him. Though, he found that doubtful as he was just a single Shinigami amidst a vast amount of more powerful beings.- -the young man, in his gigai, sighed softly and pulled the scarf around his neck up to his face, protecting it from the slight cold in the area. Ladon looked around and stood slowly; staring up at the sky. He was quite unsure why he was staring at the sky, but, something about the sky always reminded him of his eyes; so blue and distant. It would be hard to tell what may happen this day. But, would it be good, or bad? After a little bit, Ladon turned around and summoned his Zanpakuto. From there, he opened up a Senkaimon as a hell butterfly came to fly with him. Ladon sighed softly and walked through the Senkaimon, his Gigai being put away as he did so. Hopefully he wouldn't get too hard of a punishment..-(edited)

Ibiki: -Sitting on top of her barracks staring down at the expanding Gotei beneath her feet. At the moment, she is mulling her head over different stargeries, methods and tactics to use in order to help expand the horizons of the Soul Society and Gotei Reformed. She does not believe that their "god" is going to come down from the heavens and save them, so there is no choice left but to act in absence of their king and make divisions for herself for the betterment of her race, her people and her world. There is no other option left but to go forward, press strong and use the utmost of her determination and will materialized in the physical, mental and spiritual sense to eradicate any and all obstacles that may come. Even if this tasks fails, even if this fire grows dull; that burning vision will stay chained to her soul and will be hers to keep until the last dying breath in the field of battle for a better tomorrow and for the glory of their now diminished people- -Thus, as a result of this stern thinking, Ibiki seems more tense, stern and focused as she closes her eyes, sits in the lotus position and reflects heavily upon these sentiments in meditation while waiting for the next row of combat squad candidates to introduce themselves- @darkfunnel

Ladon: -he had previously entered the combat squad's barracks but, he soon walked back outside when her noticed that Ibiki's reiatsu was coming from above the barracks. He looked upwards and vaguely could make out what appeared to be her feet hanging over one of the areas of the barracks. She was clearly on the roof. As much as Ladon really did not want to face her, the worst she could do was kick him out; and he wasn't even aligned with any other factions to warrant that. He was sure a punishment was in order though, after all, he did abandon his post in a mission. With a soft sigh, Ladon jumped upwards and landed on the roof of the combat squad; with a very ungraceful, and loud, thump. Why a loud thump? Well, even after thirty years ladon was still a little clumsy with his body so, the second his right foot touched down on the roof he slipped and fell on his face; a groan coming from him.- -After a few seconds Ladon rose and inhaled shaikly and then spoke to Ibiki- H-Hello, I-Ibiki... -Ladon bowed slightly, not taking his gaze off of Ibiki. Hopefully a punch to the face was not the first thing that occurred-

Ibiki: -Opens her burning amber eyes to gaze upon Ladon for the first time. In this moment, her spiritual energy is burning raw and producing enough reishi in volume to otherwise fight on par with Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto after her recent developments in strength, training and meditation. It is why she is spending this time in solitude to imprint the perfect visual image within her inner world to foster a foundation of growth, determination and power. As this will is not just her own, but the burning desire of the whole shinigami race, soul society and Gotei to otherwise be great again, to be proud and to have something worth standing up for and dying for. This is why her power resonates with such a strong depth to it and why she must possess a strong reach of will to prevent it from getting away from her. Hence, this is the reason why he would feel such an immense power, but not be crushed by it. She was in complete and utter control. She had to be in order to make this faction work again- Relax. I am not curious with you. Although I did hear of your reports on the last mission, that does not equal a heavy beating. Every lost is an opportunity to growth and I will only become furious if you fail to take anything away from it, Ladon. -Let's a soft sigh out and begins to materialize a large white dash from her spiritual energy through her kido. Then, from a purple gourd attached to the chains of her Zanpukto, Ibiki would unleash a sweet and tangy smellin' alcohol from it's contents. As this mythical elixir would have been developed, formed and exported from the inner world of Ibiki and transferred through the medium of her spiritual energy to create an otherworldly drink for him to relax, find his nerves and feel a sense of calm will flow through his body just as it does her- -Offers him the dish- Come. Sit and tell me why you are here. I know you are her to meet with me, but what in specific are you looking to gain by me training you?

Ladon: -The second Ladon sense Ibiki's energy he was vaguely reminded of the legends he was told aboyt Shigekuni Yamamoto; the previous Captain Commander and the strongest Shinigami in the Soul Society way before Ladon's time. Ladon felt his heart beating rather rapidly as he felt the immense power, but, it was not a crushing force. But nor did it feel warming either. Ladon sighed softly and slowly walked towards Ibiki, no longer in his Shihakusho despite being outside of a gigai. Frankly, he was wearing the uniform of a college of sorts. Some place that Ladon could not remember the name of. At least they had decent tastes in uniform though, and Ladon quite liked this one.- -Ladon's steps were quiet as he reached Ibiko's side and sat down next to her, placing his Zanpakuto down on the roof next to him, the strangeness of the blades appearance, nothing like a traditional Zanpakuto, echoing his attire and Ladon; strange. He exhaled from sitting down and then lightly took the dish from Ibiki, drinking some of the liquid in the dish. It was clearly alcohol, some pretty good stuff too. He drained the dish slowly before he lightly set it down next to him, directly on top of what looked to be the guard of his sword. He laid his hands on his lap and then sighed softly and spoke to Ibiki in a rather calm tone-
Well... I'm sure you know of my sudden disappearance, part of why I am here is to apologize for that, for nearly falling into the temptation of power from a demon... And, before then, I would have told you exactly what I thought I wanted; power. But, now? I look at the sky and see nothing but blue, I look in the mirror and I see blue; the blue of my eyes, of the sky... -he sighed softly- Sorry... Uhm... I would like to say I want power, but, I don't. What I want is to never lose anyone I care for again... I come to recieve training from you because I wish to be strong. I wish to be strong for those who can't and for those who I love... I want to be strong for them. Strong enough so I don't ever have to experience losing someone ever again...
-he sighed softly and spoke no more, waiting for Ibiki's response-

Ibiki: -Pauses for a moment before adjusting herself to sit directly across from Ladon. When she is done, she would take a drink from her own dish, exhale and then slap Ladon with enough force to make him turn his full attention towards her. However, he would notice that not for a single moment would she turn aggressive, discouraged or otherwise furious in her facial expressions. Instead, there was a stern and resolved look across her face as she performed this gesture- What you want does not exist. It is an ideal and something meant to empower your inner world and fuel you with delusions. Your will desires to protect everything that you wish for, but that is naive and childish to believe that you will never ever experience losing something or someone. You must be able to form a strong enough resistance against that lost to be able to carry on, honor their memory and still fight even if you've lost that thing. As this life will take and take from you, but your willpower and resolve determines if you will be a rock or another piece of glass shattered and broken in the wind. Do you understand what I mean?

Ladon: -he sighed softly and listened to the movements coming from Ibiki. He said nothing until a slap caused most of his upper body to turn and nearly make him fall off. Ladon could sense that she was not pissed, not at all. She seemed more stern and resolved. Ladon sighed softly and turned his upper body back towards Ibiki. He listened well and sighed softly at her words- Then it was just a fleeting dream that was calmed by that slap earlier... I'm actually surprised you didn't knock me off the building with that... -he sighed softly and rubbed his cheek with a pained look on his face- You are right... It may be naive and childish, but, I am a man who was killed by his own fiance. Strange dreams come from the mind of a desperate man... -she rubbed the back of his neck and raised his dish as he asked for a refill as he continued speaking- I thank you for that slap, even if this drink is meant to clear my mind, it was still clouded ntil pain was put into the mix. -another soft sigh escaped from his lips- I understand what you mean completely, Ibiki... I wish not to be a piece of shattered glass left to remain unknown.
-his eyes raised to Ibiki and the blue eyes shined with resolve that had not seen the surface of his being ever since he became a Shinigami- I will become a rock, unmovable, stalwart. My resolve shall stand true, and I will find the willpower to not fail.

Ibiki: -Nods her head- I don't believe in senselessly beating the senses out of my comrades. What is there to gain from abuse? We need to come together as a people and the old needs to pass on their ways to the new generation so that we can trust them to take care of this land when we are dead and buried. -Exhales slowly and begins to take another sip from her dish- And I'm glad you are able to understand. There are others who need a good beating or two to get the message across. This will make the spiritual and mental training that much easier for myself as we progress your strength to be potent enough to withhold the wait of our pride, power and heritage. -Breathes out once more- And it is well to envision yourself as something immoveable, indestructible and powerful; but this world is savage, just as determined and just as powerful to enforce it's own desires upon you. So the true test of resolve, commitment and dedication comes when you are forced against these obstacles, challenges and events which take away, beat down and drain your willpower. You will fail, that is not out of the question. But what you do after that failure, how you build up from it and how you fight against it will determine the true nature of your capacity to attain this strength of will. Now, I want you to relax your nerves, let my energy flow within and visualize these concepts within your inner world now that you understand them to an extent. These are the keys to creating a stable, steady and strong spiritual world. As if you have this memorized within your heart and mind, there is a boundless universe of possibility I can awaken within you if you are so determined to stick with my lead.

Ladon: -he sighed softly and placed down the dish in his hand and then listened to Ibiki closely. Envision himself as immovable, indestructible, and powerful huh? Easier said than done but Ladon noted this well and sighed softly as he made sure to keep those values, and everything else Ibiki was saying, and take them to heart. He gave another soft sigh as Ibiki told him to relax his nerves.- -the young man raised an eyebrow, thinking he had already relaxed his nerves, but, when he thought on it this was not so. He shook his head at himself and then slowly relaxed his nerves, a mist of ice flowing around his being for the time he was calming his nerves. Afterwards, he felt Ibiki's energy flow through him as he did his best to visualize the concepts Ibiki told him of. After a bit Ladon sighed softly, a misty breath coming from him after breathing, and looked directly at Ibiki- I may need more time to completely solidify these things, but, I am determined to stick with your lead... I do request to be able to roam though.(edited)

Ibiki: -Takes notice of mist of ice beginning to form around him as he settles his inner spiritual energy- Take all of the time you need. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will your power. This is a form of visual training and the principle is to visualize your ambitions, goals and development of yourself into your inner world. If you are able to incorporate these values into your spiritual world, then you can go on to morph, change and evolve your powers beyond what they are now and break your limits. -Takes another sip from her dish- And that is why I also gave you that drink: it is to help accelerate that process the harder you push yourself mentally, physically and spiritually as a person. I will eventually grant you a power that is based from your ego, but you will need to bound with it, earnestly train and be able to be a true bearer of Resolve Force.

Ladon: -he listened to Ibiki closely, making sure not to miss a single things she said. WIth a soft sigh, Ladon spoke to her again- I see... makes sense why the drink felt quite warming and relaxed my entire being. It was clearly different from most alcohol of course... -he sighed softly and then returned to the focusing he was doing earlier, trying get everything to work as he let Ibiki's energy flow through him as the same icy mist swirled around him, not blocking any sight, but, it was still around him. He cotninued to do this and also made sure to stop if Ibiki spoke to him again. But, it was obvious he was determined to get to the point he needed to so Ibiki could train him and give him Resolve Force.-
The Combat Branch of the Gotei would be having a visitor who had not stepped for in their lands for over a yea. That man would be the current Reagent General of The Vanguard, among other titles more commonly known as Desmond Hayden. It was a surprise to say the least considering the last time Hayden was within the Gotei he was but a simple Combat Branch member who held no extradionary abilities or powers at the time. But his visit was not the relive old memory but to forge no ones, he held reports saying that one 'Ibiki' was promoting revolutionary ideas that he himself might take an interest tii- on top of the fact the Vanguard needed to re-establish a firm partnership with the gotei again. After all, they where once one organization so there was no reason why they could not come together as brother and sister orgs. With the turning tides of their universe it was time to start reaching out, to start preparing for an event that was on the horizon: war.
Ibiki: -Nods her head- It may not come easily, but I promise your will understand what I mean in due time. Your inner world will become richer because of it and it will help to grow you into a fine Shinigami. -Has a more gentle smile appear across her face. As, even though things looked quite grim and were stressful for her, there was a reminder in the back of her head not to utterly become so stern that a single stare of hers could break men- -However, this look would transition into a more confusable expression as she sensed the spiritual presence of Hayden entering the area- And what brings you to this place, stranger? @darkfunnel @Caprificus

Ladon: -he sighed softly and looked at Ibiki- If I was looking for easy, I would be cheating. I am determined to learn and know; to understand. I am prepared to do so under your wing; slapping and all. -he again rubbed his cheek- seriously... nice slap... -he cleared his throat softly and then noticed the gentle smile and blinked a couple of times before noticing it was sincere and he let color turn his face red, only for a moment, as he smiled back before he sighed again; dispelling the mist of ice he had accidentally generated around the two of them. He too sensed the energy but had no idea who it was.- Who is that, Ibiki... or wait, am I supposed to refer to you as captain ibiki...?

"Stranger? It's only beem two or so years since I've been here." Hayden mused slightly as his hands went behind his back as he approached the two before finally introducing himself. "I'm Desmond Hayden, formerly squad member of division eleven, current Reagent General of Vanguard and King-Militant of Vastime." He extended his right hand with a geuine smile on his face, as if the very location was bringing back memories which shaped him into the man he was today. "I wanted to come here because the Gotei and Vanguard have a history that was interwoven together. I wish to reestablish us as a brother and sister organization; I see no reason this new age shouldn't be entered together to bring both out organizations to their former glory... and then beyond" He chuckled before adding on quickly. "As protector of these realms."
