Deep in the darkest corners of the Zaraki district there exists an arena. As the crowds began to gather there were several competitors lined up for this interesting day. In this arena there were no ordinary fighters although it usually had some big names on occasion most people entered under an alias and the rules were simple. What happens in the arena stays in the arena, there was once one who had done this. The person died of mysterious circumstances and the arena was moved to a better location unlike the one listed before and so the arena became nomadic to a degree.
There were those small occasions when shinigami, souls and even the rare chance of an enslaved hollow entering the arena. The rules were simple, no kido and no zanpakuto allowed. They also frowned upon step methods and the like, however they did sometimes have rare wild card rules and it was this day that one of their former beginners who basically used to clean up after the fights showed up. There was a man in the center of the arena dressed in rags tied around his forehead and his hair lightbrown with dirt from the underground. His clothes a torn and dirty white battle gi that seemed partially light brown and a bit pink from the blood that soaked deep into the fabric.
Today the man would not back down, as he prepared himself for the first round.
The first round was about to begin as the woman sat on the bench in the backroom amongst the other guys who were all huge. The first fight was between a man with hands the size of a human head and feet the size of large American football balls as he smiled as the opponent was a woman with a strange accent as she looked rather well built with broad shoulders like a man as she stood there the fight began as the man laughed doing a somersault, a few cartwheels and some backflips as if to show off that he may be big but he is fast like lightning as the woman raised an eye brow and said.
"You need some more training, real men do not do ballet"
As the man got upset and gritted his teeth before grinning, Haha, take this"the man clapped his large hands to smack her from both sides as she blocked both his arms with her bare hands as she then looked disappointed and headbutt the man breaking all his teeth as he flew back she kicked him in the chin breaking his jaw as he flipped backwards and broke his neck. It did not take long for them to determine he was fortunately or unfortunately not dead, however he was paralyzed as they took him away as the woman raised her hand.

After seeing that brutal beatdown of the man she was absolutely petrified of stepping up to the ring, her mind telling her that this was a terrible idea from the start and she should just head back to the safe areas of the Rukongai. N-no you can't just give up and run away, what would people think of you now? Just some useless girl who's afraid of getting hurt. How can she become a fighter if she's quivering in fear? But she began thinking about her Master Henrex, what would he do in this situation she'll never know but she can't just live in fear. Take action! this gave her the moral she needed to fight her opponent in the field. So with a smile she hopped out of the bench as the thin man stood up from hers as they were called out to the arena to have their first round. The announcer began the introductions as the small barefoot woman stood on the one end of the open arena while the other man stood there wearing some custom shoes which he took off so that he was only wearing wrappings on his feet. A suit was not the best thing to fight in, but this man did not want to remove his suit against a woman wearing a ridiculous outfit. His disgust at the small woman as his opponent as the announcement began.
The announcer then announced the other opponent as " Fighting from the west corner is the tall refined man who loves the ladies, the Gentleman" as the crowd began cheering. "Yeah, show that chick who's boss" while another group of people shouted. "Get her girl, show him that fighting spirit." as another group of people whispered. "You think she's going to be okay?"
Don't let your mind be distracted and focus on his movements...once he leaves an opponent I'll strike.
"Let the fight commence!" as there were usually rounds since fighting non-stop for long periods of time was just a bit drawn out and giving it rounds made it more fun as the fight began. Yoriko took a stance with her left hand raised above his head and her right hand held in a fist ready to uppercut as the man looked at her and took a laid back stance as he walked like a gentleman towards the woman, his legs were rather long and Yoriko kept still for a moment and then she saw the man's leg whip up fast as she side stepped to his right, the man then redirected his kick to follow as Yoriko used her left hand to block then used a powerful uppercut to the man's leg as the man grinned.
"If you had more strength that would have been dangerous" when he said that it made Yoriko angry on the inside, it was obvious this man didn't know the fundamentals of hand-to-hand combat although he may have the advantage in raw power it's pointless if they don't utilize strategy and that's what she's gonna use to win this match. Suddenly Yoriko eyes widened as the man swung his leg upwards breaking free as she noticed the man was going to deliver an axe kick he closed in and launched an upward flying uppercut as the man got a shock as the attack just fell short of the height as the man stretched up avoiding the hit.

Suddenly the man's eyes turned cold as he used the opportunity to target her collar in which she was taken by surprise Woah! using her collar as a shotput he spun he around like a rag doll and then slammed her hard into the ground as she yelped and coughed up some blood, Kwa! she was shocked for a moment as the man flexed up his leg fast for a massive crushing axe kick converted into a stomp that may very well crack the chest open as she quickly blocked with both arms as a small crater formed beneath her. Yoriko had an average durability at best as she managed to block that attack by the skin of her teeth it would have been a bit dangerous to take a direct hit as they all had strong durability which is why the rounds were made. Some people majored on having good combat prowess while others had good stamina which mean having infinite rounds would favour those with stamina more.
This was however not the first time and not the last time that Yoriko would be fighting...
The man was a bit upset and annoyed that the girl did not end in a flash like he expected as he then prepared for another kick, Yoriko braced braced herself as the man bluffed using a scissor kick motion to make his pivoting leg switch into a soccer kick that hit her in the side as she yelped in pain causing her to roll a bit nearing the edge of the arena. The man not wanting to give the girl a chance to recover charged in with a blatant brutal kick to hit the girls face as she just ducked under in time before tackling the man's other leg which caused the man to fall over in order not to allow his pivoting leg to get hurt as she hoped to launch an attack he got kicked back once again nearing the edge as she regained her balance and spun around to shift her weight as she dizzily fell closer to the center while the man got up.
The man was getting more upset by the situation as he had come close to a ring out victory twice which did not come all the time as there were some occasions when they would fight in a cage.

The man now stood up straight and changed his stance spreading out his two arms as if eager to grab hold of something with his out stretched fingers as the man's legs also parted as she slowly was getting back up dusting herself off while watching for any attack. The man decided to trap the female as the woman from the first match looked on and said.
"In my district the children break thin man like little twig, thin man needs to come train in my gym"
The man heard that and grinned before speaking up in defence of himself.
"You may be tough, but you not undefeated like I am. Today I am taking your title you stupid fat lady" as the woman replied.
"Your insults are weak like little girl playing with doll"
As the man realised he was not going to get anywhere as he looked back she was gone as he looked to the right and then to the left and it was then that he realised he messed up as he looked down and took a direct uppercut to his chin, before receiving a direct flying kick to the face as he nearly lost his stance, he toughed it out and closed in his arms as she was landing and gripped her in a bear hug.
Yoriko was struggling as she managed to get her head turned to the side so she could breathe a bit as the man was grinning, even though Yoriko was tough she wouldn't be able to keep this up much longer and it was only a matter of time as the man was grinning as she was coughing saliva, as if her prayers were answered from God himself the announcer signalled as the first round was over as the man stopped grinning as he let go of her who fell landing on her feet faintly then flailing as she fell to the side with a hard thud or to be honest more of a soft thud as she did not have much weight on her.
The man sucked in his gut and returned to his original form as he had exerted his muscles but knew that his large size would not be able to catch her even if her body was exhausted, he knew that he could not take chances since she did survive the first round as Yoriko's movements became more sluggish and dazed into her corner.

A brief intermission occurred as the woman headed to Yoriko's corner and looked at her. Her body had nearly no muscle and her strength was probably all just in ger reiatsu. In terms of the strength she had the man beaten completely, however the woman figured she was probably a shinigami who did not major in hand to hand combat as her skills were average at best. How could she win against a man who had experience, though to be honest the girl was not on the back foot completely as she did land a few clean hits and the man was delayed for a moment, however being caught a second time might be the end for her.
This fight had rounds and as usual they had five rounds, the reason they had five has long since been forgotten but they chose to never change it since it allowed them to have intermissions regularly and also built up the tension when instead of going on and on with a long fight there would be pauses creating an air of cliff hangars. The corner of the man had some servants tending to him refreshing him, while girl got helped by some women and a few kids who were routing for her to win.
It then began as the corners emptied out the big woman whispered something into Yoriko's ears as she looked to her and said. "Go help him, I do not need your help" as the woman seemed a bit proud as she had cut her off in the middle of her advice. "Well said little man" as she made her way back into the arena a bit shaken as her mind stirred up tactics for this battle in the small arena.
The man proceeded to turn back to his wide stance as the genin stayed a normal distance away just out of reach as the man waited for the signal as the announcer spoke. "Round two Fight!!"
As the crowd was a bit tensed up however after close to a minute of not moving they got silent as the girl stood there the man was getting annoyed and charge in. The girl delivered a jumping round house kick, while the aim was a bit off it hit the man on the cheek missing the center of the face which would have been critical. The man slipped to the side as he fell to one knee falling short.
The hammer fist came down hard on the boy as she felt it hit her arms she cried out loudly. "Aaaaahhhh!!!" as the impact created a crater as Yoriko coughed a bit as the second fist was being wound up. The girl's arms were trembling as they fell to the side the man finally had his chance as she pinned her left arm with his right hand then realised he did not have anyway to produce a full guard anymore as the man charged up and was preparing to end this with a knock out blow. Yoeiko did the only thing she could she had no way to evade as she thought up a quick tactic on the spot, although reckless she had no choice.
The hammering left fist came down and one thing she knew was that at the very least the left fist was weaker from what she could tell from the earlier attacks, if she did not counter now the next right would end it all. The man's fist came down as the Yoriko shoved her head as far forward as possible and bent it so the man could not hit her face directly.

As the explosion of force made another crater the girl could barely maintain her consciousness placed her hands that were now free and pushed out real quick as the man had his body held up not realising the crater from earlier already loosened the grip he had over the girl. As she slid out she pushed back with her hands and shoved both feet into the man's jaw as she grinned and reached up to grab the girl's one leg as the girl let her free leg swing so far back it could touch his forehead then with all her force she brought it down as it managed to hit the man in the eye, something which was more luck then anything else as the man shouted out.
"My eye!!" as he dropped the girl who was giggling a bit at having broken free as the man was full of rage as he began to flare his reiatsu like a wild beast that has been angered. He slammed his fist into the ground as the arena nearly completely crumbled as the boy was struggling to stand as the man was about to attack the announcer spoke. "Time's Up" as the man glared he realised he wasted too much time on this child and decided to end it in the third round.
Having seen this happen many times before they decided have the arena repaired and then reinforced with barriers to prevent the earlier destruction. This meant the girl's escape tactic would not work again and also meant that being the challenger at this time put her at a huge disadvantage as she nearly got knocked out of the arena a few times already.
The girl was tired as she was struggling to breathe, she had a huge advantage in how much damage she could take, as the man on the other end was feeling a bit dazed as he realised a few too many blows to the head might turn things around as he decided to rather play his options more carefully. He could draw it out to the fifth round and win by decision alone or he could knock the kid out with one decisive blow using his brute force. However both options had down sides, if he drew out the fight the girl might come up with a plan, and if he rushed the fight the girl might land a counter as he thought to himself to end this near the end of the round and finish the girl off in the forth.
Meanwhile the girl could only think of one thing at that time, and that was that she would not run away and that she could not lose to this man who was not taking her seriously as the girl's gi was torn revealing her soft upper body, it was damaged somewhat but they could tell her body was resilient in the fact that it was not heavily bruised or damaged with all the impacts she took in this battle. However hetr arms were a different story, she could not block the man's full strength and was too slow to avoid the man's full speed. There was something that bothered her about the man's different forms when it occured to her to try something out.
Finally it was time for the third round as the girl stood there barechested as the man grinned as he finally had his plan and the advantage, in the worst case the girl might be lucky to get a draw by decision if the judgement of the people who ran the arena was biased to little children.
"Round three"
As the air around the two changed as the atmosphere got serious the girl no longer had any expression on her face.
"FIGHT!!!"

The battle began as the man charged in to deliver the previous attack and hesitated as the girl simply walked towards him as he pulled the breaks. He could not jump while the girl was heading forward with his guard up there was a strong chance that would fail and spreading his arms out wide to grab the girl would also be useless at this point as he changed his tactic to compensate.
He went and bulked up to the maximum walking slowly towards the girl, it did not matter if the girl was now faster and even with the arena tougher he had a trump card he could still use. He stomped hard on the ground creating a small tremor that while unable to damage the arena floor anymore it would shake the ground making footing difficult as the girl wavered slightly and some what suspiciously. The man then dashed towards the girl with a massive sledge hammer punch as the girl stepped in slightly gripped the arm and pulled with full force on top of the man's downward spin as she flipped over and landed hard on the ground as his back met the mat as the girl walked back slowly and carefully did a self-defense throw which would
The girl was keeping to her plan, if she kept up her guard that surprise attack will not work and if she fought skillfully he could redirect the man's power. However this alone would not be nearly enough to close the gap between them as the girl's legs were actually a bit shaky. The man was in so much shock he only realised afterwords he was wasting time as he got up slowly placing his fist into the ground like some kind of gorilla as he looked up the girl came flying full speed kneeing the man straight against the nose as he got knocked up slightly as the boy pulled out another round house jump kick that hit the man in the face it was not enough as the man was already recomposed as the girl stepped off the man's face and jumped away as the man just missed his chance to capture the girl.
The girl was attempting a hit and away tactic as she hit the man then backed away before he could respond with anything. However this tactic was risky since once the man had the girl's timing and speed down it would be all over. The girl never planned to stick to this he was busy testing things out. She could not take the man out with a few face kicks so how much would she need to hit the man when something that only occured to her then and there kicked in.
