THE FACE CLAIM LIST

WHAT IS A FACECLAIM?

A face claim, commonly shortened to FC, is a character from an anime, manga, video game, real life, comics, or an orginal artist\'s work. These faces are claimable via Platinum Heart\'s System of Face Claiming. Basically examples of these are like Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto, Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach, Link from Legend of Zelda, Spiderman from Marvel, so on and so forth.

WHAT IS THE FACECLAIM BOARD?

This board is an area where people create a thread in order to claim or reserve face claims. There is information in this thread about this process and the rules attached with it. Basically, this section exists for people to be able to see what faces are claimed, and which ones are not for their characters.

WHAT CAN I CLAIM/NOT CLAIM?

Face claims are an animanga term; meaning that a face claim is a animated face from a manga, video game, anime, or even just characters. However, on Platinum Hearts, we also allow Play-bys; which is a term for a claim that involves a real life person. These are much, more rare, but still allowed, and still follow the format; just input the celebrities\' main job in the series area. You can claim anything from the following list: Anime, Manga, Video Game, Real life Celebrities, and Original Artist. In the case for an original artist, please provide the character name, and the source; these are required to claim. If the character has no name, and no artist source, then it cannot be claimed! HOW DO I USE THE BOARD?

You use the face claim board by having a singular topic in it, and posting your claims or reserves there using the template. Basically, you use the template to post up your reserves and claims, and a staff member will look over it and notify you of any problems or clashes, and give you an expiry date on your reserves or add your claims to the list.

HOW IS THE LIST ORGANIZED?

The list is organized by character name first. However, if you hit ctrl + F and type in a partial name or series, you can easily find face claims that wait. Staff that add FC\'s must put them in ALPHABETICAL ORDER. Meaning that A comes before D and Far comes before Fyz.

WHO CAN I ASK FOR HELP?

All members of Staff are able to answer any questions about Faceclaims. However, some may have more experience in determining how a claim should be worded because of their knowledge of the particular claim\'s series.

THE FACECLAIM CENTER RULES

1.) YOU MAY ONLY HAVE ONE FACECLAIM TOPIC AT A TIME

This is to keep the section clean! You include all of your fc claims, reserves, shares, drops and whatever else you please in that topic! DO NOT POST IN THE FC LIST BUT MAKE A TOPIC IN THE BOARD.

2.) EACH FACE CLAIM HAS A SINGULAR RESERVE TIME OF 2 WEEKS

This means simply that for a normal reserve you have 2 weeks to change it into a claim. After this period has expired, you CANNOT extend this reservation and the face claim is free to be taken by someone else again.

3.) YOU MUST USE THE PROPER TEMPLATE TO RESERVE FCS

Please use the right templates, provided below with the example. This means - for claiming, > for reserving, and = for sharing. If not done, the mod reserves the right to deny your reserve/claim until it is properly done, due to us copy-pasting these things into the list.

4.) IF DRAMA DEVELOPS OVER A CLAIM, WE WILL FORCE A SHARE

This is to prevent large site issues due to a single claim being contested by one person or the other. So if there is a single moment of drama over an FC in an OOC fashion, it will be put on a force share if deemed. Staff can feel free to resolve issues with other means, so keep that in mind.

5.) YOU MUST PROVIDE A LINK TO AN APPROVED APPLICATION

When you are claiming a Faceclaim, you will need to provide a link to the approved application that will use the faceclaim. The app should preferably contain a description or an image of the faceclaim, but it is not necessary; however, if there is no evidence of the face in the application and there is drama over the claim, staff reserves the right to deny the claim since you do not seem to be using it.

6.) THE EARLIEST POSTER GETS THE RESERVE

In the case of several people trying to reserve a face, or claim one, the earliest poster will get it by default. However, shares can be agreed to if needed. Sometimes, this rule may be discarded, depending on the situation; it is mostly used for brand new reserves. However, if say someone has a claim, went inactive, and then came back, but someone reserved the claim a day earlier, depending on attitudes, it may just resolved differently.

7.) BOTH PARTIES MUST POST UP A SHARE

When a share is agreed to, the users will post up the share equally on both of their face claim lists. However, there are some cases where the second half has not yet posted up; in order to not penalize the sharers, there is a section for pending shares. They can still use the face freely, but until their partner claims the share within 2 weeks, it won\'t be official. In this case, the pending share will be asked of the person that claimed it to label it as a full claim.

8.) IF YOU ARE INACTIVE OR DENIED, YOUR FACECLAIMS WILL BE RELEASED

If you leave, or go inactive on the site, or your application is denied, your face claims will be released and others can claim them. These claims are open if you go inactive/leave the site or whatnot. So post in the activity check!

9.) CHARACTER FC LIMITS:
At any given time, a single PC may only have two Face Claims associated with them (Zanpaku'to, transformation, ect).

9.1.) IT NEEDS TO MAKE SENSE

It should make sense, whether that be because the two face claims look very similar, or because they have different forms, etc; basically, there must be a corporeal connection between the two appearances.

10.) CHANGE THE CLAIM, LOSE THE CLAIM

Changes to the Face Claim does not mean you retain the old Face Claim. You can use it in posts without claiming it, as long as it is not claimed.

-- That is what a claim should look like. The form is filled out; the last section also contains the character\'s name, and in case of ulterior fcs, what they are used for. Also, the link is separate from the character\'s name and is obviously placed in the bottom. This is a perfect Claim page look. Claiming a mask is about the same thing, but just contains a bit more data.

Also if you have more then one character claimed, just don\'t put the header, but keep everything under Claiming a face.
